Women's unpaid Labour
Worldwide, women and girls perform 12.5 billion hours of unpaid labor every day. This work adds $10.8 trillion to the economy every year.

It exceeds the combined revenue of the 50 largest companies on last year’s , including Walmart, Apple and Amazon.

- From now on, whenever | get asked, "You're a feminist, so do you hate men?” I'm going to ask, “You're not a feminist. So do you hate women?” -
Funny how men see female liberation as "man-hating". But it's unsurprising, since they see us as objects and a mere resource they are entitled by birthright to posess; our freedom feels to them as their loss, our right to humanity as a threat.

"Terfs and radfems' ideology is based on hate and white supremacy"
First of all, terf is a term used to label a woman as an acceptable target for violence. Believing you have the right to define when a woman should receive violence is an ideology based on hate and is misogyny.
Second of all, many radfems, myself included, are women of color. Do some research on what lengths of violence women experience in countries such as Mexico, India, Iran, Korea, and others.
Third of all, a white woman being a feminist does not inherently make her a white supremacist.
Fourth of all, women are often labelled terfs because they talk about their sex-based oppression and the need for female-exclusive spaces, such as bathrooms, abuse recovery centers, saunas, where we are already vulnerable and prefer to be in company of other women to mitigate risk.
If your progressive and woke ideology consists of erasing women and hating us even more for expressing concerns over the very real sex-based oppresion we face every day, you are the one whose ideology is a) easily manipulated by people with louder voices even when they're incorrect and b) basing your ideology on hate and misogyny.
Something for all you to think about. Women are not inherently your enemy, you're labelling us as your enemy because you want to invade our rights and our spaces and we are, very rightfully so, not letting you.

The human urge to smash the patriarchy
I wanted to write an intelligent post for this international women’s day, but frankly, I am exhausted. Exhausted of discussing my rights, freedom, existence and sexuality with strangers online. Exhausted of leaving my social media bubble which consists of cool, queer and feminist people to get hit by reality. There are still too many people who think women’s rights aren’t human rights. And that is unbelievable to me because wether you identify as female or not, we need to care about all people in this society. I’m also exhausted about discussing why we still need feminism and why gender equality benefits all genders.
But I’m also inspired. Inspired by all these magnificent women on here who continue to fight for their rights, create art and inspire me to not give up the fight. Inspired by all the enby folks and feminist men out there who show their identity even when they are constantly getting harassed. For all the brave people who have suffered from (tw) sexual harassment and abuse but chose to live with their trauma. I know that I am incredibly privileged and I always considered myself to not be a victim of this patriarchal society. But the more I think about all the comments others made about my body, the way people keep questioning my bisexuality because I am in a straight-presenting relationship, all the hideous messages and unsolicited dick pics way back when I was still online dating …
Nobody wants to be a victim, we want to be empowered, to feel free and live our lives the way we deem right. And I hope that’s possible in the near future, at least where I live, but there’s so much to work on. So let’s work on smashing the patriarchy together! And even though some feminists might disagree with me on this: patriarchal structures suppress everyone who isn’t rich or in power and that includes most men. So it’s not just the female urge to smash the patriarchy, it’s the human urge to free ourselves from the societal, political and religious suppression that tries to hold us down, keep us small and hush our voices.
Feel free to discuss this topic further in the comments, my blog is a safe space. If anyone feels the need to write something hateful in my comment section, I will delete it and block your blog. That’s just to ensure my own mental health. I am open to discussion, but my rights are not up for a debate.

The way my mother talks about girls that have more “developed bodies” is DISGUSTING. The young girl she is speaking about is in the 5TH GRADE but ofc bc they was playing “ hide in go get it” in school that means she will be too..
LET GIRLS EXIST WITHOUT BEING SLUT SHAMED
LET GIRLS HAVE OPPOSITE GENDER FRIENDS WITH OUT LOOKING DOWN ON THEM
GIRLS ARE NOT FAST BECAUSE THEY HAVE MORE DEVELOPED BODIES 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
GIRLS ARE NOT FAST BECAUSE THEY HAVE MORE DEVELOPED BODIES 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
GIRLS 👏🏾ARE 👏🏾NOT 👏🏾FAST 👏🏾BECAUSE 👏🏾THEY 👏🏾HAVE 👏🏾MORE 👏🏾DEVELOPED👏🏾 BODIES 👏🏾

Well, from what I can tell, according to their theology, PLers believe that aborted babies go straight to heaven and in some versions, are instantly aged into adults. Because their god can apparently create a personality for someone who never really lived and just imposes them on aborted babies. Ignoring the creepiness of that, let’s talk about a more pressing question their beliefs raise.
As said before, they believe the aborted go straight to heaven, whereas if they had been born and lived on earth, they might have fallen away from the faith and earned eternal torment in hell. They should celebrate women who get abortions for taking on sin by sacrificing their babies to save them from the eternal fires of hell, applaud their courage.
In fact, given that as a general rule Christians believe that no sin, however bad, is so great as to permanently separate someone from God, so long as they confess it and ask for forgiveness, then all a person has to do, is get an abortion then ask God for forgiveness afterwards and be completely in the clear.
Everybody wins. The aborted child gets to spend its existence in the eternal light and joy of heaven, never having to experience the pain and suffering of a life on earth or the fires of hell, and the mother can still go to heaven as well and doesn’t have to undergo the pain and terror of pregnancy and parenthood.
But there I go, assuming they have a coherent theology outside of “Those bitches should have to suffer!”
pro lifer blocked me on twitter for asking this but if embryos have souls, and then they're aborted, exactly how sapient are they in the afterlife? Are they forever doomed to float around with no thoughts in their heads? Is it like just animal intelligence like a little happy goldfish? Do they still have an embryonic form? I've always seen an assumption that child souls are still in child form so I guess so. Do the other people in the afterlife keep abortions as little pets? Will they stay in a fishbowl or are they too stupid + intangible and float right out again?

Honestly, this. This, this, this.
Especially with Agatha’s excuse of “it was the 1920s!” sounds so similar to how white people respond to reparations (“It was 400 years ago! Get over it.”)

But if you're a woman who dives into the so-called liberal feminism which is just patriarchy in disguise claiming anything you choose to do is feminist even if it degrades you (do your research, I'm not your mamma)
If you're a woman who hates on other women
If you're a woman who uses the term TERF and thinks TERFS should die violently because of a disagreement in opinions
If you're a woman who condones promoting violence against another woman for whatever reason
If you're a woman going around claiming you don't need a vagina or a uterus or ovaries to be a woman and that men with penises can be women and therefore enter women's spaces and have access to laws and cares created specifically for a woman's body
If you're a woman who sill sooner side with a "woman" who used to be a man or still has the biology of a man
Then you are letting me, another woman, know that I am not safe around you. You are letting me know that, even as women, you would sooner protect men and men pretending to be women than you would protect me, someone who shares your oppression since day fucking one. You are letting me know that you care more about men and about being perceived as woke and progressive than about women's actual freedom and safety.
You are blinded and you are fooling yourself.

And don’t forget all the time terfs lost their shit over so-called trans women who turned out to be actually cisgender; they just had the misfortune of having some masculine physical traits or, worse still, a butch style of dress.
It seems as though the terf movement is about punishing women who fail to adhere to strict gender norms, which sounds suspiciously similar to what misogynists do.
Transphobia is so antithetical to genuine feminism it blows my mind there's such a wide overlap like you either believe in autonomy and self determination or you don't

“reclaimed femininity” is a scam sold by the patriarchy
“sex work is empowering” is a scam sold by the patriarchy
choice “feminism” is a scam sold by the patriarchy
being complicit with your subordination and dehumanization is not empowering and it’s not feminist. you’re literally just revolving your life around how you can get a man’s dick hard.

There's this way of doing female-ness in Christianity that I call "pastel flower journal Christianity." I've got nothing against pastel flower journals per se, but for some reason people believe it's the end all and be all of female spirituality, and I think it's a real disservice towards young Christian women.
One of these days I'd like to start a prayer-and-reading group or something for young women, but there would be no floral themes or over-focus on how "God thinks you're beautiful even if the world doesn't" (a true statement, but it's wayyyyy too often the focus in women's spiritual reading). Instead we would be reading:
Seneca's Letters from a Stoic
Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning
Sheed's A Map of Life
Portions of Pieper's book on leisure
Kreeft's Three Philosophies of Life
Guardini's The Lord (or something similar)
Therese's Story of a Soul
and some select portions of the Nicomachean Ethics.
(Also they're all getting the porn talk. I don't know why we give the porn talk to young men but not young women. There's this idea that women don't use porn and they only need the talk about "guarding their heart." Bullshit. There's porn on the YA shelves of Barnes and Nobles and before that there were bodice rippers. Young women need the porn talk too.)
Every young woman needs to be getting a basic grounding in virtue ethics, logic, natural law, scholastic philosophy and Biblical hermeneutics if they're going to get by in today's spiritual landscape. Enough faffery and emotionalism in young women's spiritual education! Give them real food to chew on, not pasty sentimentalism!

The whole "breasts shouldn't be politicized because the primary purpose of breasts is to feed babies!" can be a fine jumping-off point, but I really wish people thought deeper than that when we talk about the ways in which bodies are politicized and restricted.
Like, why's it that when we talk about breasts, they must have some Higher Purpose? It's true that breasts aren't inherently sexual, but they aren't valuable solely because they can potentially feed a baby. A human body doesn't have to serve a Higher Purpose in order for it to not be legislated against or policed, and I just wish people would remember it isn't always about babies, about other people, about anything else other than the people who have that body.

"What are you going to do, have genital inspections to use the bathrooms?"
-a TRA
Males truly cannot conceive of the idea of simply respecting the space and boundaries of women. It literally doesn't cross their minds, so their minds immediately jump to whether or not women can forcibly stop them. The belief is that if a woman cannot forcibly prevent it, you may take anything you like from her with impunity.

i don't know if you guys have been keeping up with the women's world cup but this past sunday spain won against england. and you would think this would be the best moment of their careers and their lives but you wanna know what happened?
the spanish football federation's president non-consensually kissed one of the players, jenni hermoso, on the mouth when they were celebrating. this grown ass man took it upon himself to ruin the celebration for ALL the women who just achieved the thing they have been preparing for all their lives, literally the peak of a football player's career, they did it and he by himself ruined it.
and i say all the women because the other players, along 58 currently inactive and ex-players, stood up for jenni hermoso and have refused to play for the team until luis rubiales publicly apologizes and renounces his spot. now the rfef says they'll take legal action against the players and jenni for lying and because they have an obligation to play for the team.
do you remember how the men's world cup celebrations went? i do, im from argentina. no one said anything to any of the players, they were treated like kings for months and they are worshipped to this day. and rightfully so! they earned it i guess. but we do see the discrepancy?
how is it that we allow as a society for one man to sexually assault a woman right after achieving the thing another group of men got ceaselessly venerated for not even a year later? what do women have to do to earn respect? win the world cup? become the pride and joy of their country?
