So do you guys actually think that Jason's entire story, relationship to the others, and philosophy amounts to him being a rebellious teen who wants his dad's attention? Like are you 100% serious? I thought you were joking about that but too many of you are saying it with your whole chest.

And what the fuck is this "Bruce antagonizing Jason is fanon!" Shit I've been seeing? You guys are aware that a parent can love their kid and still be a shit parent right? I know you guys don't want to fathom the thought that maybe your blorbo might also occasionally have to face responsibility for consistently endangering children but let's not start being delusional now.

Bruce does love his kids, that doesn't mean that he hasn't hurt them. And I'd also argue that for the most part he feels in the right for it, and he's said multiple times that he believes it's for their own good, so you can't even argue that he's sorry about it. It's okay for you guys to admit that your PERSONAL INTERPRETATION of the character wouldn't do that but don't sit here and pretend that it's not a facet of the source.

Okay, but why did they write Sheila like that? Like she gets next to no screen time, despite viewing the girls as family, and then suddenly doesn't want Darryl covering for them anymore (which don't get me wrong, she's valid for it but it's a 180 reversal of the like one personality we had going for her) and like. The sisters needed friends, and Sandra Prosper is on the show for nine episodes but they just. stick her in the background, give her a line or two, and that's it. And I mean, Darryl is a main character for seven seasons, and she's his wife. Even though he wasn't one of the main main characters, you'd think they'd do literally anything with her like c'mon.

for a show that's fundamentally about family it's weird that we've never heard even a passing mention of Pete White or Dr. Mrs. The Monarch's families. Like we saw Sheila's wedding and her family wasn't there, and you can't tell me Rose hasn't asked Pete about his mother at least once. We know more about Brock Samson's family than theirs. Hell we know more about Underbite's family than theirs

yes this character is lying about every single aspect of themselves & their backstory & life & religion & their entire personality is a facade & a mask yes the love interest still gets enough of a glimpse of their soul to fall truly in love but the terrifying thing is what if it doesn’t last once the mask slips away what if the only thing anyone could ever fall in love with is the facade

I need more stan + broflovski content. Not just kyle I mean like all of them since they've known him for his whole life i just know he's like part of the family ESPECIALLY once he and kyle start dating. Sheila adores him and includes him in family stuff as much as she can and gerald might be a little awkward about stan and kyle dating at first but he likes him and supports them both. Ike doesn't give half a shit but Stan's cool enough and plays video games with him so they're chill. I just think since Stans own family dynamic can suck so much at times it's sweet to think that the broflovskis welcome him with open arms

My mom showed me the documentary "the Greatest Night in Pop", about the song "We Are The World". It was pretty interesting! I don't know much about many celebrities, and it was cool to see them so humanized. Also kudos to Quincy Jones for wrangling them all. That seemed utterly exhausting, and also a lot like teaching/childcare.

Julian and Sheila are on their way to a medical conference when the shuttle breaks down. The pretty lightshow outside is less beautiful stars and more the ever creeping threat of Jem'Hadar ships searching for them.

On the hunt for something to aid in Sheila's recovery, the pair land on an alien planet and immerse themselves in the lifestyle and culture of those that live there. They may not be able to heal Sheila, but at least Julian and Sheila are having a pleasant time for it.

Less a solid plot idea and more of the vibe of both Sheila and Julian solving some kind of mystery that has to do with the past, maybe allowing Sheila some kind of peek into the world that existed after her freezing.
