OK ok ok. i don't THINK they're doing an evil alter type thing with qcellbit and fcell. i have enough faith in the admins and cellbit himself that i don't think they would fall back on a shitty horror trope even if they don't know it's harmful, and separating them into two different entities would retcon a lot of established stuff about qcellbit. i don't think that's what they're doing, i think the worst they will do is make it so cellbit was sleepwalking or something. i genuinely think the federation is framing cellbit, but even if they do somehow pull off a "fcell is another entity/something in cellbit's head/etc" kind of thing, i think they can pull it off somehow in a way that isn't shitty writing. we've seen cellbit and the admins' storytelling. i have faith in them and i think they can pull this off no matter what they decide to do

state of the Hazel: not doing too great. general summertime sadness combined with a recently passed cat of mine is not great for the mind. i'm gonna miss that big dope.

i'm getting a good sense for how i'm also feeling gameways, though it ain't much good news. getting back into Persona is feeling rough because i feel like i "have to" play it more than i "want to" play it, generally never great. i still really want to have played it and post the clips here, but given the whole moderation issues of this site, it feels like there's added pressure to do it before it's too late, whether or not "too late" is something i actually need to worry about.

as for more immediate issues, sticking to just Splatoon for so long is getting me into burnout phases. i can understand why, in the past few years, i've usually finished at least one or two pokemon monotype runs by August, maybe visit another game for a good while, but i've done neither this year.

i think playing a new game is probably the best way to get out of this funk right now, though. precisely, i think something i never posted here could work best, to help enjoy the posting process a little bit more too.

i did a whole shopping list in the tags sitting on this, but that'll do for this one. give myself a little time with something new, should be be fine.

Thank you. So so much. For sending me this??? The me who made all those youtube videos. Doesn’t exist anymore. Life got harder. In so many new and horrible ways. And that like. Spark to create kinda died. And also I had more important shit to worry about all of a sudden. But. Knowing that it left on impact on someone enough to send me a message. Years after I’ve stopped making them tho. Idk.. that means something.. I appreciate you didn’t forget about me! (/my videos lol. I kno u don’t kno me. My vids and art feel a bit like. An extension of me tho? In a way. But I kno that it’s not a 1:1 thing. My art an videos express thoughts ideas and feelings of mine. But they are not. Me. Just lil slivers of me.. Sometimes it feels like those videos were just a flash in the pan. A brief moment of attention and fame I didn’t grab onto hard enough… and now the moments long gone. but. if anyone has recs for good youtube tutorial/education channels about cooking for people who are Absolutely Hopeless let me know. for reference: did worse than 96% of people on that buzzfeed vegetable test, do not understand cooking terms (like sautee, stir fry, simmer, etc), don't know how to differentiate between knives or other utensils, don't know how to chop vegetables or even hold a knife properly, etc. the things i CAN do are 1) boil water 2) boil pasta 3) boil rice 4) make box brownies.

basically i need a hand-holding tutorial for someone who has never stepped foot in a kitchen before. like so simplified it borders on condescending. and many tutorials seem to assume a baseline of knowledge that i..... do not.... possess.
