As I pulled my hand away from San, I began to walk to his car and got in before he could open the door for me. I was so pissed off and couldn’t believe what I just heard a second ago.

On the drive back to our place, San tried to make a conversation with me, but I was just ignoring him, not in the mood to talk to him. When we got home, I got out of the car as soon as possible and walked into our shared bedroom, where I pulled a bag out and started to pack a few things to spend the night with a friend.

“Hey baby, what’s up with you? Are you mad? Did I do something wrong?” San asked, confused.

“I’m staying with a friend for the night." I said it coldly.

“Why? What’s wrong?” he asked, clueless.

“I don’t know, San. Maybe it is the fact that I spend all day being ignored or the fact that you forgot that tomorrow is a really important day for me at last,” I said, being passively aggressive.

“If you're mad because I’m going out with Mandy and the other, I can cancel and go do whatever we were going to do,” he said, trying to make the situation better.

“You know fucking well, I don’t care if you go with the guys or your backup dancer, but you forgot something,” I said, getting pissed by the second

“I need someone to talk to who can hear me, and I can’t do that with you,” he said, rolling his eyes.

“I tell her a few things, but never personal stuff,” he replied.

“If your telling her about our marriage, it's personal, why do you tell her everything you intend to come to me and tell me I can’t make you happy anymore or that I can’t make you cum anymore? Why do you have to tell her that?" I said, yelling at him.

“Of course I did. I took you out to your favorite restaurant. We ate sushi, don’t you remember? Then we went out for a movie,” he tried to justify for himself.

"San, I hate sushi, and I didn’t want to go to the movies either; you didn’t even say happy birthday that day,” I said defiantly.

“But you don’t have to worry about me anymore. You can finally take your chance with her. You can finally date the girl of your dreams here. I won’t be needing this anymore." I said, pulling my wedding ring out of my purse, placing it on his palm, bringing my bag, and walking out of the house.

San pov

When she closed the door, I fell to my knees. I felt like the biggest asshole. I lost the love of my life, all because I was trying to impress a girl when I already had what I wanted and needed.

I looked at her weeding ring, and I started to cry. I was so stupid for doing everything I’ve done without knowing I was hurting my wife. I stayed on the floor for god knows how long, then made my way to the bedroom, where I fell asleep crying.

The next day I went to work, but I was cold and distant to anyone who got near me. Seonghwa got worried and took me to the side and asked me what was wrong, and I told him everything that happened. Hoonjoog was also there, and he looked disappointed.

As the day continued, Wooyoung was giving me an attitude, and I was fed up, so I asked him what his problem was.

“What’s your problem? Why are you being an asshole?” I asked angrily.

“I didn’t know why you sped up the night crying at my girlfriend’s place. Tell us how much she hates you." Wooyoung said he was pissed.

“What happens in my marriage is none of your business, and why did she have to go and tell her about our problems?” I asked, annoyed.

“I don’t know; maybe it’s the same reason why you go to Mandy and Bitch about Y/N. Yeah, I overheard you talking about her and how she couldn’t make you cum and how unhappy you were with your sex and married life,” Wooyoung said angrily. “By the way, she also knows about what you said; she was there too.”

I just stood there looking at all the guys; they looked disappointed and confused. I knew I had messed up, but I didn’t know what to do anymore. I didn’t even know if I could fix anything. I was so embarrassed, so I just turned around, left the studio, and made my way home.

When I got home, I felt something off, like I was forgetting something. I started to remember the first night, and I remembered what y/n had said about an important date, so I checked my phone calendar, and there it was: today was our third-year anniversary.

I knew I couldn’t do anything about it, even if I tried. I knew she wouldn’t want to see me, and I don’t blame her. I did this to myself. Now I have to find a way to fix my marriage.

Mandy pov

Today was the day some of the ateez members and Bcakup dancers would go out for some drinks, and I was excited to meet with San.

I knew he was married, but what he had told me was that he was unhappy in the marriage and that he regretted marrying his wife. At first, I thought it was a joke because they both seemed really happy together, but as time went on, I started to see what he meant.

San and I grew closer as he would come to me when he wanted to talk about his problems, and as time went on, I started to flirt with him, and he didn’t try to stop me, so I continued.

I kind of feel bad for his wife, but I couldn’t help myself. I liked the attention San was giving me, and although he never tried anything with me, I wish he had, but I knew he didn’t want to cheat on you.

Now I was getting ready to go meet everyone at the bar we agreed on, and I noticed how Seonghwa and Mingi were acting wired, and when I tried to engage in the conversation, they would ignore me.

I soon got bored and asked Wooyoung where San was, and his reply was cough me of gard.

“Goddamnit, can’t you stop? Can’t you stop being a pick me bitch?” Wooyoung said angrily, “Because of you, my two best friends might get divorced. Because of you, my best friend is crying her eyes out in my girlfriend’s apartment because of you. You don’t feel like she was good enough for San.”

“What do you mean by getting a divorce?” And why are you blaming me if she was the one who couldn’t keep him happy?" I defended myself, then Mingi turned and began to talk.

“He was dumb; he was not thinking straight; he actually loves his wife. Now he regrets befriending you and losing her. He thought he wasn’t happy with her, but just a day without her is eating him alive. So Mandy, if you ever thought you could get a chance with San, well, you are wrong because San loves you. Even if they get into really bad fights, he will always choose her." Mingi added, trying to keep his anger down.

“Ill admit he was tempted by you; he was interested in you, but he never made an effort to try to seduce you; he never tried to cheat on you with you; he was acting dumb, and there’s no excuse for that. Now he regrets it deeply; he’s scared of losing his wife for good. So if I were you, I would try not to come across either of them." Seonghwa said calmly

I was so embarrassed for what they told me, so I just got up and left. I walked around the park for a bit and sat down on an empty bench. I didn’t know what to do. I really thought San would like me and leave you for me, but after hearing how much he loves her and how hurt he was, I started to feel like an asshole.

I took my phone out and tried to call San, but it went right to voicemail. I texted him, but he left me on hold for a few minutes. Then I got a message from him telling me he doesn’t want to see me ever again.

I feel bad. I could tell he was really upset, and all because of me, I try to think of something to fix everything, so I send a text to you, hoping she could talk to me.

Mandy: hello y/n I heard what happened to you and San, and I was hoping we could talk.

Y/N: And why should we talk? You want to brag it on my face and tell me you won; tell me you could make my husband happier than I ever could.

Mandy: No, I want to apologize for my actions and try to help you fix your marriage.

Y/N: I don’t think there’s anything to save anymore; he made it clear last night.

Mandy: Please just hear me out; it won’t take long, I promise.

Y/N: Fine, meet me at the coffee place by KQ tomorrow morning.

Mandy: okay

The next day, I walked to the coffee shop that was closed by the KQ building and sat down in the back, where we could have some privacy.

After twenty minutes, Y/N finally arrived. She looked really bad, like she hadn’t slept in a while, but she still managed to look good. I could see why San liked her.

When she walked up to me, she looked like she wanted to hit me, but I guess she held herself back. She sat down in front of me and waited for me to say something.

I was nervous. I didn’t want to say something that would make everything worse, and although I should be happy that her and San were getting divorced, I felt bad because I could now see how deeply they love each other, and I was just standing in the way, so I had to make everything right. I wanted San to be happy, and his happiness was with you.

“I heard what you and San are going through, and I’m sorry it was because of me. I was selfish and not thinking of the harm I was doing you,” I said nervously.

“Did you and my husband sleep together?” She asked coldly.

"God, no, of course he would never do that,” I said in shock.

“You seem to know a lot about him, so tell me how many things he told you. Did he say I was a shit wife? Did he say I couldn’t sexually please him?” She said she was pissed.

“He didn’t say it like that; he was just angry; he didn’t mean it; he just said you couldn’t keep him happy like he wanted, and I agree, so I try to do what you didn't, I guess." I said I was scared of her reaction.

"Ah, so you also think I couldn’t keep my husband happy? Were you planning on sleeping with him? Did it make you happy that he was going to you instead of his wife?” She asked angrily.

“At first I did want to sleep with him, and I tried to, but he never noticed what I was doing; his mind was always on you. Every conversation we had was about you, and now that I think back, I can see that you were never the problem,” I said, looking at her.

"Well, it doesn’t matter anymore; our marriage is over, so you can get your change with him. I’m just upset that I was a terrible wife. I made him think he couldn’t talk to me about his feelings, and instead he went to you. I guess all this is my fault. I lost him when I should have been more attentive with him,” she said, crying.

“Yeah, this is not your fault; it’s his and mine. You should talk to him, talk things out, and work on your marriage. I know there’s still hope to fix it, and I hope you do. I’m sorry I came in between you guys. I can see he truly loves you." I told her sincerely.

After that conversation, y/n left without saying anything else, and I just sat there feeling guilty. She was a nice person; she never treated me badly, not even when I flirted with her husband right in front of her. She didn’t deserve what’s happening, and I just hope she can work things out with San.

Guilt was eating me up. I might have sounded so pathetic for trying to get with a married man and now trying to help them get on good terms.

Y/n pov

When I left the coffee shop, I didn’t know what to think or what to do, so I just walked back to my friend's apartment and told her what Mandy said. She told me to think about what I wanted to do to take some time and not rush things, and she also told me I could stay with her for as long as I needed to.

After thinking about it for a while, I thought she was joking or that she was finding some sort of satisfaction in what was happening. But I just ignored it and tried not to think about it.

After a week, I was feeling better. I was still with my friend, and I haven’t talked to nor seen San since that night. Wooyoung didn’t like to talk about San because every time he would get pissed.

It was until almost three weeks when Seonghwa called me worried; he had texted me first, telling me I needed to pick up the phone because it was urgent. When he called, it was around two in the morning.

After the phone call, I got up, changed, and made my way to San’s place. I was kind of worried about him; he wasn’t a drinker, but he can still drink a shot of tequila, so I knew this was serious.

When I got to the apartment, I could hear the guys trying to calm San down; they were so loud that I could hear them from outside.

When I got to the door, I pulled my key and entered, and I saw the mess.

There were plates, clothes, and bottles everywhere. I could see picture frames around the place as well, and I heard sobbings coming from the bedroom, so I made my way up there.

The guys were outside the bedroom looking worried. They turned around and saw me. They ran up to me and asked me to help them.

I nodded and asked them to wait in the living room while I talked to San. I saw them as they walked away, then I turned to the bedroom door, took a deep breath, and tuned the nob to enter.

When I walked in, I saw that the room was messy and dark. I walked up to where San was and saw that he was crying, so I sat down to meet his legs and started talking to him.

“Hey San, let’s get you cleaned up and get you to bed; it’s late,” I said.

“I don’t want to. I need to fix my mistake. I need to call Y/N and ask her to take me back,” he said in between sobs.

“I know, but it’s late and you need to sleep. How about you sleep for a bit, then when you wake up, I’ll let you talk to her?” I asked him.

“Are you sure you promised me that? I really want to talk to her at last one last time because she decides to throw me out of her life,” he asked, hopeful.

“I promise, now go to sleep; the guys are worried sick,” I replied.

"Okay,” he whispered, “I hope she wants to talk. I miss her so much. I made a big mistake.”

"Okay, now sleep. I’ll tell the guys that you're good now, okay?" I said as I watched him cover himself.

After I made sure he was asleep, I walked out of the room, closed the door slowly, and made my way to the living room, where the guys were.

“Is he asleep now?”

“Is he okay?”

“Are you leaving?”

The guys began to ask as soon as they saw me enter the living room. I walked to one of the empty seats, sat down, and began to talk.

“He’s okay now; he’s sleeping, so there's nothing to worry about. You guys can go home now that it’s late,” I replied.

“What about you? Are you also leaving?” Hongjoong asked

“I’ll stay to clean up and wait for San to wake up so we can talk,” I replied.

“Do you want one of us to stay with you and help you clean?" Yeosang asked, looking around the room.

“I’ll stay and help her; you guys can go back home." Seonghwa replied, getting up from where he was sitting.

“I’ll stay, and I’ll help you guys clean." Jongho said

"Okay, grate, call us if you guys need anything; we’ll see you later." Mingi said, getting up and walking to the door.

After the rest of the guys left, Seonghwa and Jongho started cleaning up the stairs, and I cleaned the living room.

After an hour of cleaning, we were done, and I told the guys to go home and I'd stay the night in the guest bedroom, but Jongho insisted on staying in case I needed him, so I eventually agreed.

The next day, I woke up early and made breakfast soon after Jongho woke up, and we ate together before he left for work.

Once he left, I stayed behind. After I cleaned up the plates, I sat down in the living room, thinking of whether I should stay till San woke and talked or if I should leave, but I was interrupted by San walking down the stairs.

When I looked up, San was standing in the doorway of the living room, looking at me in shock.

“Yeah, you actually here. I thought I was hallucinating when I saw you last night,” he said as he took my hand in his

“We are not getting a divorce, right? Please tell me you won’t walk out of here. I can’t lose you. You have everything I want and need,” he said ignoring what I said as he walked up to me and got on his knees and begged.

"San, get up, please, and go take a shower. You stink so much of alcohol,” I said, getting up from the couch and pulling him up by his arms.

"No, unless you tell me you’ll be here when I get out of the bathroom, please promise you will stay here and wait so we can talk so I can win you back,” he really said, with home behind his sad eyes.

"Sure, fine, go. I’ll make you something to eat in the mean time,” I said, walking to the kitchen.

When San left, I made some soup to help with the hangover, placed a bowl on the dining table, and sat across from him and waited for San.

A few minutes passed, and San walked in, sat across from me, and began to eat in silence, but I could feel him looking at me once in a while.

After he was done, he took his place in the sink, walked back to his seat, and began talking.

“Yeah, I know what I did was wrong. I shouldn’t have gone to another woman and talked to her about our problems. I shouldn’t have let myself get carried away with her. I messed up and I hurt you so much, and it kills me to know that you might ask me for divorce, and I won’t blame you.” He said he was fidgeting with his fingers.

“My only question is, why did you go to her and why didn’t you talk to me instead? Did I make you feel like I couldn’t trust me?” I asked, looking at him.

“To be honest, it was because I’m stupid. I thought if I talked to someone else, they might know what I should do, but I was completely wrong,” he said, ashamed of himself.

“Did I not make you happy enough? Was I not a good enough wife for you? Did you at any point have feelings for her?” I asked, feeling insecure.

“Oh no, of course not. I never had feelings for her; she was only a friend, and you are an amazing wife, the best wife in the world. It’s me, the one who’s been a bad husband. I’m so sorry, baby. I feel like shit for hurting the most important person to me.”

He said he was stretching his hand out to me.

“Y/n baby, please give me a second chance, and I'll promise to be a good husband. I’ll never hurt you or ever gain. I can’t have you away from me for too long; it’s hurting me too much. I’m so sorry, princess. Please forgive me,” he said as he squeezed my hand.

“It’s going to take a while for me to fully forgive you. I still feel hurt, but I’ll take you back if you promise me to go to couples therapy because we really need it,” I said, giving him a small smile.

"Yes, of course, I’ll do anything for you. I’ll also promise you that I’m the husband you deserve, and I’ll never screw up again. I’m scared to lose you, so I’ll do anything not to lose the love of my life,” he said, standing up and walking up to me and hugging me.

I truly knew he would change because I could see through him and tell that he regrets what he did, and that’s good enough for me. I know that by taking our stuff out, we’ll be better and not have any more problems. I believe in him.

And so as this riveting Richonne reunion moment continues we see Michonne willing to follow Rick's lead and go to the mysterious place that's been keeping him trapped for years. But before they go, Michonne also has to experience some heartbreak when her bestie goes to the other side 😥...

After a spectacular initial Richonne reunion, the good times are quickly interrupted when Rick hears CRM helicopters nearing. And this is when we really get to see that fear Rick will later admit he felt in ep 4. Also, I like how in this reunion scene Michonne's being a comfort to him and Rick's being a protector to her.

First, the way Rick's eyes are red from crying. 🥲 This is an overstimulation moment for real and there’s so much going on. Like Rick was fully focused on Michonne and you can see him be yanked back to reality as he realizes the CRM are fast approaching.

Rick looks out and gravely tells Michonne, “They’re coming. More” as the music switches from angelic romantic music to something far more looming and daunting.

Michonne asks, “Of them?” in a way that shows she has no love for those opps. And also I love how it’s almost like she’s finishing his sentence. Rick says, “Yes” in a way that always stands out to me because you can hear the intense fear in his voice. He knows Michonne is now in immediate danger. 😰

Michonne adamantly says, “Then we go.” I love how Rick and Michonne are already back to operating as a 'we' and knowing they’re going to make their next move together.

But you can see the CRM has really done a number on Rick and both fear and the awareness of the CRM’s formidibleness has him urgently telling Michonne, “No, no, no. It’s too late. They’re coming.”

Then thinking on his feet Rick cooks up a quick plan and alibi as he tells Michonne, “Say you have another name. That you came out of the forest and you saw the soldiers being attacked.”

As Rick speaks, Michonne looks at him so confused. But I love that she’s still holding onto him because it's like once she found him she’s not letting go and having him disappear ever again.

Rick continues with the story she needs to tell saying, “You were a part of a community that fell years ago, someplace small.” And again Michonne is like 'what exactly are you talking about??" as she squints her eyes confused and lightly says, “What?”

Then Rick looks in her eyes and very seriously tells her, “Don’t show them who you are.” And that’s a pretty vague statement so Michonne needs clarification and also is wondering what exactly she is that needs to be hidden. She searches his eyes for a moment and then asks, “What I am?”

And then I always love the delivery when Rick says, “Strong. A leader. You hide it.” He says those qualities like he loves them so much in Michonne. Even after almost eight years, he knows those traits are still in her. And while he adores those traits in her and they’ve honestly saved his life multiple times, he also knows they can risk her life if the CRM learns that Michonne is the A above all As.

Also, it hit me that, before Nat shows up, all Rick knows is that Michonne might've taken down the helicopter and these soldiers singlehanded and I feel like he’s just like yep...

I love that Rick steps closer to Michonne too when he says she's strong and a leader. He knows his wife, and he’s experiencing this dual thing of being so glad she’s back and so terrified she’s back. But he wants to be tender with her even with his mind going a mile a minute.

Michonne looks at him still trying to process everything and then Rick again with so much concern in his voice says, “They’re - They’re gonna be here. We’ll go back with them. We have to.” I like how when Rick says they’re gonna be here, Michonne subtly seems to hold onto him a bit tighter because she’s like whoever they are will not be taking you from me again.

When Michonne hears they have to go back with them she whispers “No. What?” And I just know she is so eager to get out of here and have her, Rick, and Nat on their merry way back to the kids. So hearing Rick say they have to go somewhere else and delay the trip home even further is so not what she wants to hear, especially going to a group that killed her friends.

It had to be so hard when Rick was saying this is what they have to do because in her mind they were going to be back hugging their kids in no time now that they’d found each other.

But I adore the way the magnets are at work in this scene because even despite Rick and Michonne having differing ways they want to handle this situation, they both only step closer to each other and continue to hold each other.

Rick can see Michonne does not want to have to go this route and so he reassures her saying, “I promise. Michonne, I promise.” And ahhh hearing him say her name in front of her for the first time in the miniseries is the best. 🥰 He always says her name like it’s the most beautiful word in the world.

And I love the way he looks at her and wants to reassure her. It’s so clear that he is literally prepared to do anything to make sure she’s okay. It’s interesting that he’s so convinced they have to go back with the CRM. It makes sense because they’re out of time but it also reflects how he’s come to believe there’s really no way out or around the CRM.

Rick pauses for a moment then tells Michonne with conviction, “I’ll make it so we get away.” And honestly, in this moment I know he really means that. Like he looks right in her eyes because he’s not lying even if he doesn’t know exactly how he’s going to pull it off.

While it took him years to try and escape I think he genuinely feels like with the added motivation of saving Michonne’s life he really won’t rest now until they successfully escape.

And then I absolutely adore seeing him affectionately holding Michonne’s face in his hands as he says this and Michonne’s reaction too. She looks hesitant at first but then she just stays looking at her husband's face and smiles, choosing to trust him.

That’s one thing about Rick, he’s the only man who can get Michonne to defer to his way above her own even without much information. So even tho she has no clue where they’re going or how they’ll get out she trusts Rick to lead them and it’s a beautiful thing that she doesn’t give to just anyone. She trusts him wholeheartedly

Then Michonne can’t help but smile and laugh that she found her man as she quietly says okay and nods in agreement to his plan. And then she returns back into their Richonne bubble as she so happily and emotionally says “I found you.” before wrapping him in her embrace again. 🥰

The way she keeps touching him as she lets it soak in that he’s really here is so sweet. 🥹 Also, she’s understandably like let’s table this CRM stuff for a sec cuz I’m not over the fact that after all these years I really found you. And Rick lets out this emotional sound as he embraces her back and I’m just again smiling ear to ear in this moment. 😊

And Michonne is smiling from ear to ear too when their hug is broken up by Nat who calls Michonne’s name. I know Nat was probably looking from afar like…now how did my friend go from killing those soldiers to full-on making out with one of them?? 🧐 lol.

Michonne is so happy to turn to Nat and confirm that her man is alive and this fine man in her arms is him. I know she was about to be like 'bestie, come let me introduce you to my husband and his curls' lol. 😋

Also, Rick, who is in high alert mode because he knows they're in dangerous territory, is looking at Nat like 'who is this and is he going to be added to my long list of concerns rn?'

Nat says, “Christ. Is that him?” And Michonne is beaming big time in her “my man, my man, my man” energy as she nods to confirm. 😊And again I love how she keeps her arms wrapped around Rick in some way shape or form because until she can quite literally attach Rick to her hip she's not letting go of this man for anything.

Rick is quiet and looks at Michonne as Michonne is quick to assure Nat “He’s not with them” because as far as Nat knows from the outside looking in it sure looks like Rick is aligned with their enemies. But I love that Michonne is so certain Rick’s not with them, even despite the uniform.

And the way she looks back at Rick...I know a lot is going on right now but the thought 'Dang, my baby really only got more attractive over the years' had to cross both Rick and Michonne's mind at least once in these here woods. 😋

So next - this show wants to pierce my heart by piercing Nat’s. 😣 It’s a heartbreaking moment. 💔

Nat is mid-sentence cuz he wants some answers when he asks, “Well how the hell…” and then he’s immediately hit with a fatal bullet by one of those trifling surviving CRM soldiers.

For a character that was just introduced in this episode, the show and Matthew Jeffers did a great job of really really making us care about Nat and feel the weight of his tragic loss. 😢

Nat falls to the ground and Michonne yells his name as she runs to him. While Michonne runs to him, Rick picks up Michonne’s sword to finish business with that soldier.

When Rick said he was not with the CRM he meant that because the way he switched up and field goal punted that CRM soldier and then killed him with Michonne’s katana was gold. 🤭 Also I like how Rick is the only one who can touch Michonne's katana and live to tell the tale.

I'm sure that soldier on the ground was thinking 'oh good Grimes is here' and then the next thing they knew Rick was plunging a sword into their heart like it ain’t no thang. 😬 Had to be done.

And I know the larger part of why Rick did this is because they can’t have witnesses that can go against their story, especially one who might have seen Sergeant Major Grimes passionately making out with Michonne. But I personally also like to think Rick could instantly tell Nat was someone important to Michonne and so he was going to take out that solider on their behalf cuz a friend of Michonne is a friend of his.

Nat struggles to speak but still has important questions about Rick as he asks Michonne “Is it still him. Can you tell?” Which is valid to ask because a lot can change in almost 8 years apart. Michonne sincerely tells Nat “I can.” I feel like she can tell because Richonne’s kisses are a form of communication and so when Rick kissed her Michonne knew no matter what has changed her Rick is still in there.

Then Nat hands down his life lesson to Michonne saying “See you can still believe and know when…” but he doesn’t finish the sentence as his eyes slowly glaze over and he tragically passes. 🥺 Seeing this I was just like Nat, even after only knowing you briefly, you will be so missed and forever appreciated as a genuine friend to Michonne. 🙏🏽

It’s interesting how within seconds of each other Michonne and Rick both lost one of the most impactful people to them in recent years. Like Okafor just died and he’s the one who instilled in Rick this idea of losing yourself for the greater good and Nat just died and he’s the one who instilled in Michonne this idea that you can believe and know when to go. And throughout TOWL we see how these influences affect Richonne and their next steps.

(Also both Jeffers and Tate did an absolutely excellent job making their characters memorable and compelling in a short amount of time.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Okafor and Nat were some of the best additions to the franchise and I'd have loved to see more of them. They truly made a lasting impression even in just one episode. 👌🏽)

I love that for the remainder of the show, Nat will still have such an impact on Michonne. That idea of knowing when to go will be big for her. And as of right now, she’s agreeing to go where her husband leads her.

It’s so emotional seeing Michonne cry and repeatedly whisper no and Nat’s name as she realizes he’s gone. She’s gone through so much loss. 😢 And even when she finally gets the reward of finding Rick she has to be hit with the painful loss of her good friend and the only contact she had for a year.

Rick approaches and asks, “He helped you get here?” and Michonne tearfully says, “Yeah” and even just the way she says that to Rick made it so clear she’s talking to someone she feels safe enough to be vulnerable with.

Rick says a sincere, “I’m sorry” and I think it’s super sweet how Rick is obviously in crisis mode and worried about what comes next but he still gives Michonne a moment to grieve and presently feel for her loss.

Michonne is so caring as she keeps her focus on Nat and then Rick looks out knowing they’re going to have to act fast now. He stoops down and again so tenderly speaks to Michonne as he sweetly says her name, asking, “Michonne, do you have anything with you that could tell them about you or Alexandria? Maps, notes, anything?”

Michonne thinks for a bit and I love seeing that the ring on her necklace is visible. They don’t have Rick address seeing the ring but in my mind he definitely peeped that. As Michonne thinks, she says she has a journal, a radio, a phone, and Rick’s boots and Rick has a surprised expression of his face like 'how did you get those?' But the Richonne magnet effect applies to Rick and Michonne's items as well so of course the phone and boots found their way to Michonne.😌

If they had time I’m sure Rick would have asked how she got those items but you can see him realizing there’s no time for questions as he then softly says, “I need them.” And again, I appreciate he’s still being sensitive to the situation Michonne is in while also so aware and stressed over their other CRM situation.

Rick places the katana in Nat’s hand to frame him for the CRM attack. Then the next scene has Rick and Michonne preparing for the CRM's arrival as Rick pours out as much info as he can before they’re separated.

He tells Michonne she needs to say Nat had the sword and that she took one of the soldier's guns off the ground and stopped Nat. I was like dang this is a lot of things for Michonne to have to remember to say. 😅

Then Rick says, “We’re gonna be separated” and knowing those are words Michonne and him never want to hear again, he goes to her and reassures her, “But I’ll find you. As soon as it’s safe. I promise” And I love the tender way he says it and I especially adore that he pulls her in closer to him when he does.

It’s sweet that he knows Michonne can find comfort in his promising words and in him holding her. I will always appreciate how Rick takes his role as Michonne’s protector so seriously.

Michonne nods fully trusting him despite going into this whole thing mostly blind and clearly a little anxious as she keeps looking up awaiting the CRM helicopter's arrival.

Rick then says he needs to have his gun on Michonne and she clearly doesn’t like the sound of that. He says they need to see him with his gun on her and her with her hands up. And it's crazy to see because the last time Rick put a gun on Michonne was when they were strangers in season 3.

Michonne listens and turns away as Rick gives one last instruction to call the dead something other than 'walkers' because that’s what he called them. It’s sweet how he’s trying to think of every detail he can tell her to make this work.

The helicopter whirrs closer and Rick says with certainty, “We will get away.” Michonne looks back at him with a bit of concern on her face, because all she knows is she’s going to the place that somehow kept Rick Grimes from their family for years. But I love that she knows she can look at Rick and feel some sense of comfort.

And Rick gives her an extra dose of comfort when he passionately yells out, “I love you!”

PERFECTION. Y'all, I adore him saying that here sooo much. 😍 He said I’m not waiting for one more second to tell you what I’ve longed to tell you which is I love you. It’s so romantic and it's an impactful contrast of him saying I love you while having to aim a gun at her.

I like the detail of how Rick doesn’t put his hand on the trigger cuz he doesn't even want to play around like that when it comes to his wife.

It’s so sweet that he wants Michonne to be comforted by the fact that no matter what else has happened or will happen he still loves her so much.

One thing that was so clear is that even Dead Rick still had a blazing love for Michonne. And now that just her presence alone has slowly begun bringing him back to life, the love he has for her is as electrifying within him as it was before he decided to die.

It’s nice too because he sees the way Michonne looks at him for reassurance and he wants to comfort her the best he can and what’s more comforting than their love. Yelling out 'I love you' also added to the pile of evidence that shows Rick is a loverboy to his core when it comes to Michonne.

So then we get the compelling shot of Rick pointing his gun at Michonne as she puts her hands up and the helicopter arrives and lowers to the ground.

Having Rick with her and hearing him declare his love does give Michonne a lot of comfort and makes her feel safe despite the circumstances as she smiles up at the helicopter and seems just so aware that whatever this strange new place is it’s no match for her and him together.

Like truly the CRM is about to pick up their downfall by bringing Richonne back to base. And it’s just cinema seeing the ring fly back in the close-up shot of Michonne's smiling face.

It’s clear having Rick back has just infused Michonne with more life as well. And I love how her smile up at the helicopter parallels Rick's smile up at the helicopter in the TWD series finale. #CutFromTheSameCloth

(Also who would have thought that the close-up shot of Michonne in TOWL's first full-length trailer would include Rick behind her with his gun aimed her way. 🫢)

This whole woods reunion scene - from the moment Rick's helicopter crashed to the moment a new helicopter came to cart Richonne back to the CRM - was so good. 🔥 It had high expectations to reach and it absolutely reached and surpassed them to me. 👏🏽

And now that Rick and Michonne had finally reunited it was time to see just how well this plan at the CRM would go.

Now about Richonne’s undercover plan… 😅.

I kept feeling like Richonne really needed to rethink this plan because there are only two things those two can’t do and this plan was going to require them to do both.

One; Michonne was gonna have to pretend to be a B. And the thing about this is Michonne is bound to be the baddest chick in the game, she can't help it. From what we know, she’s been an A all her life and so trying to mask that was going to be damn near impossible.

Two and most importantly; a plan where Richonne has to pretend like they don’t know each other and be subtle about how they feel about each other… that had me looking at Richonne like babies, change the plan cuz...

I was genuinely trying to think of a time Rick was subtle/casual about Michonne in TWD and I could not think of once lol. During the strangers stage, best friends/co-parents stage, husband and wife stage - she's always had a very visible effect on him. 😋

In the beginning of their relationship Michonne had Rick activated in like a hostile/tense way and then eventually she always had him activated in a madly-in-love way. Either way, Rick has just never exactly been subtle when it comes to her lol. Rick and Michonne both noticeably light up around each other.

But I also was like aw Rick and Michonne might think they can do this whole pretend we aren’t in love thing because that’s what they thought they were doing pre-canon…but uh you thought, Richonne. 🤭 Cuz so many TWD characters picked up on the in-love vibes between those two. There’s a reason Carl looked at both of them like 'duh' the day after they made their relationship official. 😂

So if Rick and Michonne thought they were going to be able to resist each other and be subtle about each other now after years of longing for each other - it was simply not gonna happen. And that prediction that they'd be too irresistible to each other proved quite correct. And honestly, I loved to see it. 👌🏽😌

Hi Sweetie ❤️ Heard you were looking for some rankings, so here am I once again... Now that Bloodflood is on hold, let me gather my thoughts. How long can this get 😮‍💨...

First, the ranking based on the anime only:

1) Toji--> I know he's not part of the yanderes but hear me out THIS HOMELESS GROWN-ASS MAN HAS BEEN HAUNTING MY DREAMS, MY DAYS AND MY NIGHTS FOR ALMOST A YEAR, THIS IS NOT FUNNY ANYMOOOOOORE 😰.

2) Suguru--> Me trying my best not to cry seeing my all time favs not being included 🥲. Joke aside, really liked the fact he wanted to "mercy kill" Mizu cause he knew what it was like to be Satoru's prey. Really heartbreaking, my poor babies.

3) Choso--> Well... my type is hard working, muddy guy 😅. Finally we enter the yandere grounds 🥳. Fun Fact: Absolute first jjk man who stole my heart, seeing only 2min of him in season one.

4) Sukuna--> Me looking at my RoR Ranking with Shiva on top 👀💧. What can I say... Four-Armed Men=Best kind of Men, certified Monster-Lover here.

5) Yuuta--> My sweet cutie babyyyy 😭😭 made me scream when we saw him at the end of season 2 with his big ass weirdo eyes...

6) Satoru--> Well... I understand. He's like, bred to be perfect, but I never was any Gojosexual to be honest (all my homies love Toji-).

7) Megumi/Yuuji--> I love them as characters, really, but the ranking is mostly based on the HoRnY... they're adorable, but... not in a sexy kinda way?

8) Kashimo--> To be honest, like every character introduced during the Culling Games (the only exception being Gigami Chadguruma) , this one absolutely never impacted me in any kind of way. I'm utterly neutral about him. Nice buns tho.

That being said... oh boy, time for the Tsunami ranking!

(1) Megumi/Yuuji--> Look at my bois, how sweet they are😭. They climb at the top because I just reaally loved their interactions with Hime. They have yet to disappoint me, and I just feel they would treat her the "best" out of all the suitors. I could be wrong tho. Also the way you write Megumi😳, it made me realise the potential of HoRnY- Was wishing he would fu** her in front of Yuuta's camera-

(2) Sukuna--> I stayed up all night just to read your Shisui flashback. It may be my favorite segment of your story, how talented can you be? Ryomen Sukuna... he is the one who has the most reason to be obsessed with Mizuhime, he helps her with exorcism when Gojo puts her down, he has four arms 🤤... He could have been my favorite but to be honest, I feel like his ending would be the absolute worst for Mizuhime (being the King of Curses, the final antagonist etc...). And I just love her so very much, she needs at least one good ending 😭

(3) Choso--> Ok hear me out- I know I may be biased, we hadn't really seen him yet, but it seems he would be kinda like Yuuji. I think he could treat her well. And he's just so clueless, how cute🥺. I makes me wonder: would he be aware of Yuuji's love for Mizuhime? If so, would he try to be a good "big bro" and support his little brother, or would he be selfish and try to keep her for himself? (I think I already know the answer-)

(4) Satoru--> Like someone famous said: "Certified LoverBoy, Certified Ped******"! Maaaan, no wonder Hime wants him to stay in his box, he's so nasty🤣. Gross, disgusting, pathetic, obsessed, overpowered, terrifying... He's the worst, but he's so funny to read at the same time. Let's not even talk about his Heian counterpart... As I said, I never was a big fan of this character, but with all the Jjk fic I read, I can say your portrayal of Gojo is my favorite in all the FanficVerse. It may be the same with other characters, but especially for him. How dreadful, to be the object of obsession of the Strongest in the World... He is still at the bottom tho, we don't need this creep around Hime ever again.

(5) Kashimo--> I have no expectation with this one, as I've said earlier. The electricity power seems interesting, but honestly write him however you want. Seeing your blog he seems like a little shit too.

(6) YuUtA🤬--> Well... if you paid attention in the Pjo/RoR ranking, you already know where this is going. Don't you wonder, what's the point of the dual rankings anyway? I use this to compare how high can a character climb (Megumi/Yuuji, Loki) and how low can he fall. And man, HOW LOW DID YUUTA FALL. It breaks my heart because during the first part I was the biggest YuutaHime apologist. He has seen her fucked up family, he bought her books, plushies, he was sweeeet 😭... If he was a yandere "on his own", maybe I could have let it slide, but how can you go from "Damn Hime your relatives are a bunch of creepy weirdos" to "No u can't unfiance me uwu cause I'm ✨️Daddy's Special Boy in Law✨️" Do you know what happens when you do shit like that? I'm gonna tell you, you earn the [Whiny Little Bitch] stamp. Actually, maybe it was my fault. Shouldn't have put all my faith on the Panty Stealer to begin with. I may be harsher with him because, unlike Gojo or Sukuna, this kind of yandere is not cartoonish evil. The way he acts (manipulation, baby-trapping, forced union enabled by the relatives), it seems... way more realistic. It's not funny or entertaining, it's just... sad. I don't want my best girl to end up like the 2nd Sanyu. Not to say the way you wrote him is bad, it was the best to show us how much of a LOSER he is. My last words about him: I hope he dies in a meaningless way.

Well well well, that's quiet the long rant. I would like to have your thoughts about it. I know you're currently focused on Arsenic Blues (great last chapter btw, Nubby for life) but I really wanted to share with you my review about Tsunami. Really, your fics are the best stories I've read in a veryyy long time and it's the first time I ever interact with an author, so it means a lot to me. Hope you have a great day, week, month. I basically gave the gist of how Lila @lilacura and I got married in the first goon central story, but sienna wants the details,so the details she will get. 😌

So it all started when Lila and I were planning my trip to her country cause we both love planning things for fun. We yapped about things we would do, where i would stay, how long i should stay, when i should come over, how she would buy me a plane ticket (sugar mommy fr) etc. THENNNN WE GOT OFF TOPIC AND STARTED talking about our birthdays, THEN we talked about our horoscopes and how she's a fire sign and I'm an air sign, so I told her that we are compatible because fire needs air to live.😎 (HAHAHA)

The she was like "STOPPPP WE'RE SOULMATES🤭" and i was like "YESSSS ATP PROPOSE TO MEEEE🤪" I was kidding during that time... but then Lila was like 🤨"who said u weren't already my wife?" in my mind i was like oh?(EHEHEH) I looked at my finger and replied to her "wheres the ring??? i see none" 🤨🤔

Then lila left to go find me a ring, she was sending me photos, but your gurly was being VERYYY MUCH PICKY WITH HER RINGS🥰 BUTTTTT Lila worked hard trying to find me a ring but none piped my interest so i went to look for it myself and sent her a pic of it and she was like "OH YOU LIKE THIS ONE?" ( IM KIDDING PLSS) and how in the fanfic lila would be the one to win in the end and i was TEASING I SAID "WHAT IF I LIKE SIENNA TOO" then lila got sad 😔 ( my bad bb) and was like "but we are the ones getting married." Can you tell me about "You let me desecrate you"?

I'M SUCH A YAPPER. SORRY GRACE THIS IS GOING TO BE LONG BECAUSE I HAVE A LOT OF THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THAT FIC. It was tormenting me on my wips for MONTHS so I DO HAVE A LOT TO SAY. (Favorite Scene) From the second chapter in general I quite liked writing that whole scene when Sejanus is undressing and we find out how he's been living those terrible months and all that makes him decide to go “murder” Coriolanus in the shower <3 (which by the way was a blatant reference to the murder scene in psychosis, which I did not only because it's a very iconic scene but because the murderer is dressed as his mother and there's something abt Coriolanus forcing Sejanus to fulfill a maternal role in his life in BE...)

I especially liked this part: The door is opened carefully, his steps are silent and slow, he tries to hide among the crying of the shower, until the curtain shows him a silhouette he knows well. One that he has adored madly, a blurred image that hides his reward, the fair price for what Sejanus has lost, what has been taken from him. He pulled back the curtain. Abrupt movement. The weapon felt heavy as he placed it against Coriolanus's chest, aiming straight for his heart, and Sejanus remembered for the first time in years that he was actually taller than Coriolanus.

LIKEEE Coriolanus IS SHORTER THAN SEJANUS IN HEIGHT, VERY SHORT I WOULD SAY, but he is so BIG in a way. The power he hold over Sejanus and their relationship is so immense that Sejanus feel small next to him even physically, that he has forgotten that HE IS TALLER!!! That's craaazy I liked too the final scene of the third chapter (and in general of the fic) were I talk abt the fusion of both in one monstrous being. (My favorite chapter) I really like the 3 chapters but I have a special relation with THE SECOND FUCKING CHAPTER, LIKE NOT GET ME WRONG I ADORE DO SECOND CHAPTER BUT IT TOO FUCKING DRIVE ME CRAZY, IT TOOK ME AN INSANE AMOUNT OF TIME MANAGED TO WRITE IT. Honestly I feel I lost for complete the control of that chapter 😭 it's SOMETHING ELSE UH . So I kind HATE IT WITH MY SOUL and LOVE IT AT THE SAME TIME. (Hardest scene to write) ALL THE SEX SCENES SKJHSKJHSJKHS Vicó was making fun of me bc this was "😰" my face everytime I remembered THE SMUT FIC NEED INDEED HAVE SMUT... I simply suck so bad to write smut yet Im doing it bc I think we need more bottom Sejanus in snowjanus tag (Favorite character to write in the fic)

Look writing Coriolanus sometimes is fun but I WAS SICK OF THAT MAN, because an unwritten rule is that in our collabs series (Bad Ending & Laboratory Au) I usually do Coriolanus POV and vicó does Sejanus POV (the reason is because I love her sejanus pov and she for a reason I don't understand likes how I write coriolanus) it's not a real rule because when the time comes she has written coriolanus and I have written sejanus but by the time I was doing this fic, I had already spent a lot of time writing from Coriolanus' POV, SO I WAS TIRED OF HIM, besides even if always is tragic and depressive, I always enjoy getting into Sejanus' head in bad ending.

(Favorite dynamic to write in the fic) The whole fic is centered around Snowjanus so clearly them but I liked the small mention of Sejanus and Strabo's fucked up relationship I did (Why I chose that title) I suffer from the sickness called "all my fics have names of songs," I'm also an addicted to make playlist at the slightest provocation so OBVIOUSLY I MADE A PLAYLIST JUST FOR THIS FANFIC, and one of the first songs I put in it was: Closer by Nine Inch Nails.

So the tittle is taken from the first verse: You let me violate you You let me desecrate you You let me penetrate you You let me complicate you

There were many parts of that song that I wanted to use as a title but in the end I went for that one because of the meaning of desecrate.

desecrate verb to damage or show a lack of respect toward something holy or respected.

There's a recurrent topic in the fic of Sejanus trapped in the madonna-whore complex in Coriolanus's eyes (pure or corrupted), of Coriolanus saying he adore and love Sejanus but literal abusing him and never having any respect for him, and all the blaming Snow do to Sejanus FOR THE OWN DAMAGE HE DO TO HIM???????? It feel adequate in a way, all this Sejanus is holy, but he "let" Coriolanus to desecrate him. (A fun fact about the fic) It started as a joke… Me and vicó, we talked fthat from our perspective Coriolanus is yes a pathetic virgin but he sure had a thousand kinks, and would ask Sejanus for “strange” things in bed, and how Sejanus knows how to use a gun in canon,,,, yeah gun kink appear in the talk and we discuss about the difficulties of them using a gun because well Coriolanus is paranoid and blah blah blah.

How did I end up writing it seriously and on top of that dealing with such heavy topics like Coriolanus' power and murder fantasies, Sejanus then fantazing to murder his abuser and etc etc? WELL THAT WAS VICOS FAULT because she put at the beginning of "My boy only breaks his favorite toys,"a scene of Sejanus fantasizing about murdering Coriolanus and SOMETHING CHANGED IN MY HEAD. And somehow the gun is a great symbol of the power imbalance that exists in their relationship, and after I wrote District Whore for Bad Ending Universe, I lost fear to post terrible smut SO I WAS ALL "WHO'S GONNA STOP MEEEE??? WHO'S GONNA STOP MEEE???" and no one stop me indeed, and this how THAT FIC HAPPEN...

Imagine for whatever reason the spirit world has some hold on you that you can't escape. To make matters worse, you're not at the level to handle it by yourself so you seek out those with the abilities that can. Alright, shouldn't be difficult right? Incorrect. Things that have happened to me on my search: scammed, ghosted on and just feeling like I'm left in a ditch in the middle of nowhere with the sound of howling coyotes approaching. Thankfully, I'm a stubborn cow that just wants to chew my grass in peace so we climb out of that hole and give a finger to the coyotes. Here is my review of Ener-chi aka Zach!

Skill level: intermediate.

it's a given if you've gone through Zach's posts with his adventures in the astral or the readings he's done for others. With the readings he's done for me it's been the whole "what I needed to hear" and not "what I'd like to hear to stroke my ego." My ego was out of control once so Zach didn't sugar-coat the message from my spirits. The end result? Me with a metaphorical black eye. My ego? Bruised, swollen and crying like a baby for days on end😥😰😭😭I was ganged up on by not only my own spirits but the spirits of Zach's cards too. Looking back, I know I deserved it and my spirits did try giving me spoonfuls of honey but noticed me being greedy and thought enough was enough. Painful truths serve a purpose so between them and a beautiful lie, I prefer the former's bitterness because who's ever heard of "good" medicine that tastes sweet anyways?

Spirits like to talk in their own cryptic ways so I'm not surprised when I asked for clues related to something I need to search for in the physical only to be redirected to something seemingly unrelated but likely is related. Zach's readings made me feel reassured that my spirits do have my back. If they didn't care, they'd fill my head up with helium and I could descend down a path of egotistical madness that repulses me down the road. The spirits that care for me remind me of my own physical friendships where if a friend told me they want to jump off a cliff I'd berate them and probably take a taxi over and beat them over the head in person some more. My friends would thank me for that and I'd thank my friends for doing me that favour too if I said something like that.

There was a time one reading turned into a healing session and I've got to give props to Zach's ability for that; something was deeply buried in my energy that previous practitioners didn't detect at all. Even my guides who keep a watchful eye over me didn't sense it. This nasty yucky thing Zach said was leftover rotting energy that I'm thankful he removed. In the physical, it seems that this nuisance was aggravating my negative moods. The moment it was taken out I felt wayyy better. More relaxed and less hurt by whatever weighed on my mind. After that Zach helped configure my energy which I guess the nasty thing stunted from working normally. My energy has since entered a sort of "clearing out" state. So if I was worried something threw a metaphorical wrench in my clockwork it's since been taken care of.

Maturity: a humble dude.

There's a quote I'll paraphrase that goes something like, "people can brag about being enlightened but those who truly are just let themselves be and their actions speak," I'd say Zach is definitely the latter. Zach cultivated not only his abilities to be able to decipher the messages of the spirits and heal others but also as a person which is demonstrated by his patience and willingness to discuss things with people. He has, in my opinion, stayed humble and not strayed from growing both spiritually and in the physical as a human being. You can't separate the physical from the spiritual since they're two sides of the same coin; whatever injuries you get from either side it's gonna show up, so you can't neglect either. Speaking from observation, some practitioners neglect their humanity and it shows in how they treat others.

In the past, I've approached various somebodies that presented themselves as open to helping others only to do the exact opposite and I'd be worse off. So I'm forever thankful Zach isn't Ike that and recognizes the responsibility and weight of this line of work. I'm not afraid to ask for clarity which he is happy to provide. On the economical side of things, he's willing to work it out and godbless him for that. There's people who would charge up to $100 if not more than $300 for a single reading that they'd say has NO guarantee to help you. IMO, if they're not a scammer then they might as well be one. I don't joke about the fatalities energetic injuries can lead to physically so if somebody is that enamoured with money they're fine with you dying and being in debt thanks to them they shouldn't dare claim they're "enlightened."

You could hire anybody to compliment you, even probably hire lots to insult you and some would offer to do it free of charge but somebody who can get rid of a parasite that's giving you months of insomnia you never had in your entire life? it won't cost an arm and a leg?? PLUS they're not an asshole???! A national treasure find.

Conclusion: highly recommended.

This was written because I had this nagging voice in my head saying I truly wish Ener-chi would get more love for what they do! I thank whatever forces looking out for me that led me to them. For as long as Zach would allow it I'll be back to check in with whatever's going on that side for me. It's easy to talk to him, he's level headed and channels the voices of the spirits well. Also if stuff is going down with your energy he can tell you straight away if it is from spirits giving you unnecessary grief. If you've eliminated the usual physical checkup then maybe it's time for a spiritual energetic one.

So, to start off, Stan would definitely feel safer around you, he might even open up to you. But at first he’s scared of you a bit😰

But once he decides to approach you, and you seemed quite nice! Although you still intimidated him a bit.

Honestly, if you found out about his alcohol addiction, you would give him a whole lecture about it. He wouldn’t specifically end the addiction but he will try to stop for the sake of you.

Now, when he feels down, he will most likely go to you first. And only you at this point. You might be a bit aggressive, but he knows you mean well.

One night, while he was feeling down about some things Shelley said about him, he decided to text you.

Hey, I’m not feeling very good and I need someone to talk to rn.

He’d text, and you’d answer back.

Come over.

And he would! He’d come over, and you’d be standing there, waiting for him.

“What happened.” You’d ask. “Shelley..” he’d say in a slightly sullen tone. And you’d go up to him and hug him, “shh.. it’ll be fine.. I promise you.” You brought him to the couch, where he would then just look at you and start crying, burying his head in your shoulder. You of course, reassured him so well. You would then notice a few bruises on his hand and his face. “Stan.. are these from Shelley too?” And he would nod. That alone made you pissed off so badly, but you didn’t show it. You sat him down on the couch and pulled out a first aid kit, then mending his wounds slowly. He would wince from time to time, but until you were done, you weren’t stopping. Finally when you were done, you let go and gave him a kiss on the cheek, slightly making his face heating up.

“Are you guys kissing!?” Your younger brother would ask and you faced him, your own face heating up as well.

Introducing Stan to your younger brother wasn’t difficult, your brother was quite enthusiastic. He was very close to you, and he knew whoever you chose was going to be good as well! So, once they met, your brother instantly hugged him, bringing Stan joy. “I think he likes me!” He would whisper to you, and you’d chuckle. “Now we gotta babysit him for two days cause mom and dad are gone.” You laughed, and Stan would just pat your brother’s head. “Oh my god! Can I show you my Xbox collection?!” Your brother was a bit too enthusiastic now. But you didn’t mind, and neither did Stan, it just brought him more joy in fact. And since that day forward, every time Stan would come over, they’d play at least once or twice together.

Little brother=3rd wheeler? Nah.

Overall, Stan would be ecstatic to be with you. He is glad you are in his life, to comfort him, and to care for him. He has a bit of difficulty when it comes to relationships (due to Wendy), but you shower him with affection. He didn’t even know you could do that!

((The obvious and easiest way to go about this is writing about Cassie wanting to be an Avenger but that’s no fun and I don’t want to go that route. So I tried something different.

((How about instead, you have a worrisome situation with a letter with some worry but more reassurance. Scott is a good dad after all, he’s going to take care of Cassie.))

It’s the 11th night Scott found himself and Cassie like this, curled up on her bed with Cassie leaning against him, asleep at last.

The first week Cassie stayed with him again, sometime after the Battle for Earth and Scott was able to get his own place again, he got a really good glimpse of how those five years without him really affected his ten fifteen year old. She would wake up crying for him, haunted by nightmares of him disappearing again, of her coming home to an empty house until she caught a glimpse of him far off. One minute there, one minute gone. And in her bones, she knew he wasn’t coming back this time.

Every night the first week she stayed with him ended up the same way. Every night the second week she stayed with him was like that. The first night back at her mom’s found Cassie slipping out of the house in the middle of the night and finding her way to his place to bang on his door to make sure he was still there. And it terrified him. For her sake, it scared the hell out of him. What a nightmare no pun intended.

They had to talk about this. They had to. But what on earth could he say? There’s a lot that needed to be said, but he couldn’t get his thoughts organized enough to have this talk. So he wrote a letter to her. It was meant to be practice for getting his thoughts together and prep for the conversation with her but she would find the letter before they could have the talk.

Hey Peanut,

This talk should’ve happened two weeks ago after the first time the nightmares happened, but I let it go on too long. I didn’t know what to do or how to best say things. So here I am. Reaching out and trying to take care of you in any way I can.

I’m here, Peanut. I’m back. I’m not going anywhere.

Your nightmares are liars. Believe me, I’m no stranger to nightmares, but they are. They’re liars. Know how I know? Because nightmares are just reflections of anxiety and fear, and I know for a fact those are big time liars. So if they’re liars, their reflections are too. I’m not going to leave you again. I promise.

I think it’s high time we do something to help you move past these nightmares, Peanut. If Mom and Jim are okay with it, maybe you can stay two weeks in a row for a while to help you get used to the idea that I’m back. I haven’t asked them yet, so I don’t know how that’ll go but we can try. Maybe we can look into therapy too. We can go together if that’ll make you feel better, but I really think therapy for a little while would be a great idea. We’ll do more things together after you get out of school. More one on one time to do whatever you want. And you can’t forget that road trip we’re planning just you and me, you’ve got that to look forward to too!

Point is, Peanut, you’re going to get through this, and I’m going to help you do it. Whatever it takes, I’ll do it for you.
