The game seems simple enough.

He places the cookie between his lips, and offers her the other end, and she bites down on it dutifully. Take more cookie than your opponent to win.

She inches her lips forward and feels him drawing closer, doing the same. She hesitates as their lips brush - surely they were supposed to stop by now...!

Their lips meet, and something in the back of her mind kicks into gear, something she's never had to think about. She leans forward slightly, pressing her lips against his, half in pursuit of the last bit of cookie, half caught in the spirit of the game.

It's a quick kiss, and when she pulls away her cheeks are burning red, but she's smiling at the end. It takes a second for her to remember her objective at all.

"Um, who... who won...?"

Musicals are time loops. Every night, the same thing happens except for a few minor differences. It always ends the same. If you want the characters to do something different or to make better choices, too bad. The actors are bound by the script and the score. The only way for the time loop to end is for the show to close. But you (the audience) don't want the show to close, nor do the actors who would like to be employed. It's a lose/lose situation. For the actors, audience, technicians, and for the characters, who are forever stuck in the same stretch of time.

Mass Effect: Andromeda - That time where Sara Ryder became an adopted mom to a Fiend 🤔🤣😉

This is the Elaaden mission where you're supposed to "tame" a Fiend by setting a smoke lure. It draws a Fiend and you fight it but instead of it dying, it's supposed to sit down by the smoke and ignore you after that. This Fiend, though, really wanted some Pathfinder skritchies and cuddles and followed Sara all of the way back to the NOMAD.

And then... Okay, please imagine the hysterical laughter I gave at the NOMAD part. You've got to see that for yourself, lol!

Sorry, as usual, for the lack of nice editing. This is the raw footage since I still have no Vegas to work with. I initially just wanted to capture how the Fiend was weirdly following Sara around and then it became one of my favorite moments so far in my over 600 hours in this game! 😍🤣

I seriously wish Sara could've kept her Fiend pal and brought him back to the Tempest to hang out in her quarters with her hamster and Pyjak, lol!

I love Vetra at the end of that clip, commenting about the crazy rock formations as if we hadn't just had a FIEND sitting on top of the NOMAD, lol! 🤣🤣🤣

It was official. It looked like he'd gotten into an actual brawl. Guy'd always known Jordan had a mean right hook. He'd just never been on the full receiving end of one of the punches that right hook could dish out. Probably wouldn't have been on the receiving end of one if Guy hadn't swung first. That wasn't something he was going to think on too much. He didn't regret it. Not for a second.

Only thing he did regret was having to walk inside his house and explain why part of his face was turning fifty shades of purple. He didn't want to rehash this. He didn't even want to think about it. The captain had already poked and prodded enough.

Maybe he'd catch a stroke of luck and Donna'd already be asleep. Guy wouldn't want to talk about anything in the morning either. But, maybe some of the anger would be gone by then. Before he even thought it, he knew it was a lie.

Unlocking the front door and stepping inside, Guy already knew luck wasn't on his side. The kitchen lights were still on and he could hear Donna walking around just a few feet away from him. Welp, the night couldn't really get any worse.

Closing and locking the door behind him, he headed into the kitchen. "Hey," he grumbled, already heading for the freezer to grab an icepack and bracing himself for the questions that he knew were about to explode around him.

"It's alright," she signs, taking her place on the other end of his biscuit. She slowly creeps closer, feeling the heat rise in her cheeks, and feels him slowing as they draw closer. Maybe this is her chance to get ahead-!

But her lunge forward catches more between her teeth than cookie - she recoils back as she realizes she's bitten Heath's lip (not hard, but enough).

"I'm so sorry...! Are you alright?" The game is forgotten as she leans forward, trying to assess the damage. "Maybe we shouldn't play anymore..."

So my daughter and I went a little crazy at the arcade. See played DDR with me! :') we might have left the hotel at 7:30 and we are just getting back now. Left arcade at 10:30 and went to grab a late dinner. We had a blast though!
