Yknow, the only thing I knew about EOM before going into it was the ship between Lethica and Marius (tho I didn’t know the characters names, just the ship between them via fanart), and I had kinda written it off as “oh, hot boi x hot girl, okay”.

(Spoilers up to episode 11 under cut)

But then I started watching EOM. And with the mixture of their personalities blending well together, the constant back and forth with “I agree with Marius” “I agree with Lethica”, the literal Darkness x Light trope (granted, mostly it’s because of their respective gods, but still), and just. Specific moments.

Like Lethica paying attention to what Marius ate for breakfast the previous morning, and took some with her to give to him when he caught back up to them after his conversation with the High Inquisitor, or Marius somehow fucking reviving Lethica (despite not having the Revivify spell available to him at their current level), and their hug afterwards??? I just.

I get it now. I mean, I started getting it by the time they cleansed the Crooked House, but now? I’m fucking loving this ship. It is just. Amazing. I love it.

I think the most fucking heartbreaking part of just about any route, is the absolute and unconditional trust that Seven has for V.

but… how much of that trust is genuine, and how much is fueled by fear? of course he has to trust V. he’s already entrusted the most precious thing in his life to V- so of course he’s scared to even consider the idea that he might not be trustworthy. he’s put so much faith in him already, and if he doesn’t have that faith, then what does he have? Sevens not ready to even consider to accept the possibility that he “failed” his brother, and who can blame him?

i honestly feel like the cis vs. trans debate depends on how we’re defining the terms. “trans” as in “no association with your agab whatsoever”? probably excludes a good sum of trans people. “cis” as in “only expresses their gender through stereotypical presentation and/or never experiments with the concept of gender”? probably excludes a good chunk of cis people. but this doesn’t necessarily conflict with or negate the cultural significance of being cisgender or transgender and labeling those experiences as such. cis and trans people obviously receive very different treatments and privileges, so it’s less about strictly defining what it means to be cis or trans and more about how these terms (as broad groupings) help us understand and identify where we stand. they’re communication devices first and foremost, not diagnoses. i hope that makes sense
