Good morning, everyone, last night I was planning on writing more smut and I ended up writing almost 600 words of what happens when Astarion tells Diana about his "nice, simple plan."
I mean. I'll take it.

if saying that you had your life together was an understatement. you were working for the biggest and most respected mafias in the country. it was normal to see at least one dead body in the alleyway. a lifeless body, dumped as if it had no worth that got pushed away as a broken furniture no one saw worthy to save.
you were just an assistant who also worked as a hitman, being payed high for even injuring a targeted person. it gave you joy, you wanted to feed on souls that deserved nothing but death to come. you sucked in life of your victims, craving more and more as if it was like food and you were always hungry.
your boss set you out to raid an abandoned apartment to where homed a filthy rich man who unfortunately died due to a heart attack. he kept many important documents that your boss wanted and tonight, thats where you were headed.
you were clothed in a black skin-tight long sleeved top and short skirt which allowed you to hide your dagger, with a pistol on your waistline. when the time calls for it, you were going to be the one to kill whoever saw you and got in your way.
you had not noticed the figure which hid in the shadows watching your every move. as you rummaged through the drawers, you heard something drop. you spun around, gripping onto your gun as you pointed to the person standing in front of you.
" marcus? "
" hey, i was just dropping by- "
" you arent supposed to be here, you know. " you advanced towards him, watching him stumble backwards.
" well, neither should you. why dont you put the gun down, honey? " earning a glare from you, you made a move, linking your leg under his making him fall on his back.
" oh, i remember this. " as you stood above him, he mumbled.
" ignoring your favorite person i see.. its okay.. i bet the memories follow you around dont they. " you dont hesitate but kick his side making him groan.
" leave this place, act like we never even crossed paths. " you sigh, walking away from him.
" dont you miss me? "
" no i dont. and i will not. "
" but seeing you stalk me says otherwise.. how you constantly follow me wherever i go.. i suppose i am grateful that you are looking out for me. " marcus pouted.
you could not accept how right he had been. you were so in love with marcus that you knew itd be difficult to start a life without him. but you could. for all these years before meeting him shows how you could live without him. but why cant you do the same knowing what you two have been through. how could you when the only thing that occupied your mind was him. how he often thought of your life first and put his own life on the line to save you. how could you ever want to leave someone like him. it was now your turn to look after him when he did everything to protect you. even if as strangers, you knew that you still wanted to be on his wavelength.
" look, i know we left on terms we didn't agree on due to our statuses, but you can't blame me to not.. look for you. " it felt like you pulled a nerve when you confessed the last part.
" but you did. "
" i had to okay! what would you do if you are being given a choice, to get your lover killed.. or have your own blood throw you away like youre some meat, even having them turn their back against you? i knew i was being selfish okay? i.. i just cant imagine having you die.. not when i know i could have done something. or me dying. so im sorry if i was being selfish, it was either you dying, or me. and you know what i would have picked. " you were now going on a tangent, gun placed away in its holder, with you rummaging through the drawers. you grabbed every document you could find. marcus just looked at you.
" im sorry, okay?  i just wanted you, you to be safe and well. " you could have just chosen to have your family killing you, but in the moment, you just had to. it was either him being dead because you wanted to survive. or him being alive at the cost of your freedom.
marcus never saw the side of your story, too busy grieving with his own. he watched you walk away as if he werent there. as if, he didnt mean anything to you anymore. but he knew, he knew that you loved him enough to save him without even thinking.
Tumblr media
a.n : m not very proud with this, dont know why. and to the person who requested this, thank you but sorry because i couldn't tag you, its not letting me. and so sorry for the long wait!

Karen Sirko x Fem!Reader: I Love You, I'm Sorry
Inspiration is from the name of the song, I Love You I'm Sorry by Gracie Abrams lol
Y/N = Your Name * I do not own any of the DJATS characters or plot *
Flashback in Italics
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Your POV
You were the sound technician that traveled with the band, Daisy Jones and the Six for years. You went on two tours with them and both were cut too short. It was sad, sure. But those two opportunities helped you in the music industry and you made so many friends. One was Karen Sirko.
Enter Karen Sirko. She was the keyboard player for the band and your eyes were drawn to her as she played every time. Unfortunately for your job, you had to pay attention to the rest of them too.
You still remember the first time you two kissed. It was at a party.
The party was a Halloween party and you had dressed up as a zombie with your friends who were crew members for Daisy Jones and the Six. You hug Camila as you enter the party and grab drinks with friends. One of your friends leans over and says, "I think Karen keeps looking over at you." You reply, "Maybe she just likes my costume?" Your friend answers, "Uh I would say that, but she watched you at rehearsal all week for the upcoming tour. And oh she's walking over." You reply, "You and gossip, geez." You hear, "What gossip?" You see Karen standing there and you answer, "Uh just two crew members hooking up." Karen replies, "Really? Huh? Good for them I guess. Can I show you something, Y/N?" You answer, "Sure thing." You follow Karen and you realize that you're walking to her room. OH... show me what now!?!? Karen lets you in her room and then shuts it behind you two. Karen then says, "I think we should kiss. It makes sense. We practically eye fu** each other every day anyway." You reply, "Sure." She then pushes you against the wall and kisses you.
You sigh. You would've done anything for Karen at the start of your secret relationship. You were both so happy. You would often sneak into random closets or random rooms to make out. There was one close call and then Karen started pretending to date Graham in front of her band, so no one would get suspicious. Graham thought it was all real. You think Karen started believing she loved Graham at one point too.
You're grabbing food from the table for the crew and you start eating as you walk. Karen appears next to you, smiling widely. She holds out her hand and says, "Follow me." You reply, "Hi, uh I was going to eat. We could eat together instead." She pulls your hand and says, "You know I can't do that. Come on." She pulls you into a random room and you set your food down. Karen pulls you closer and starts kissing you. You lightly push her off and say, "I don't think I can do this anymore." She pulls away and gasps, "What?" You answer, "I love you, I'm sorry... I know we were keeping it casual, but I love you. I don't like being your little secret, I want to show you off as my girlfriend." She sighs and says, "Babe, come on. You know this band is only a small stepping stone for me. And, this relationship is something I want to keep casual. I just don't want to tell anyone." You say, "Ok that's fine then. But, do you love Graham?" She replies, "No, but it's very easy with him. It's nice." You pick up your food and say, "I wish you all the best in your future with Graham and with your music goals." She half-smiles and you leave the room. You see Graham in the hallway and say, "Your girlfriend is in that room on the left by the way." He smiles and thanks you.
You ended up being transferred off the Daisy Jones & the Six tour to another band's tour because you were the youngest and newest. That was their reasoning and honestly, you were not mad. You wanted space from Karen.
You later found out that the Daisy Jones and the Six tour ended abruptly not to your surprise.
You moved on with a new girl and you were having fun living the life you wanted. It was all good.
You saw the Daisy Jones and the Six documentary in theatres. It was engaging and beautifully done. You noticed yourself in the background a few times. The ending when the band was reflecting on things, well it shook you and messed your life up.
Karen was interviewed and the narrator asked if she loved Graham, which she admitted she did. She said she lied to him because she wasn't ready to settle down and she knew he deserved someone who wanted that now. The narrator asks Karen if she's been in love since and she admits that she never knew she loved Graham if not for you. Yeah, she said your name and admitted she loved you too.
Your brain was spiraling and you were freaking out after learning that.
You end up breaking up with your girlfriend because you realize you still love Karen.
You're sitting at a bar drinking when you hear your name next to you. You turn and there is Karen. She's smiling softly and she takes the seat next to you. She exclaims, "Hi Y/N." You reply, "Hi Karen... I saw the documentary." She takes a deep breath and asks, "And what did you think about it?" You answer, "I thought it was honest and real and beautiful." She asks, "Did you stay until the end? What did you think about that?" You answer, "Uh I thought you were brave to admit that to the world." She asks, "I love you Y/N, I'm sorry I lied all those years ago... if you're okay with it, I would love to take you on a date." You agree and you leave the bar then go on your first date.
You're happy that Karen loves you and you love her.

Fics That Deserve More Comments (Part IV)
Back on the fic list grind with a part four~!
**Note: Will ghost edit later.**
Loose chronological order below~
@hipsbef0rehands/Millenial_Falcon’s(WBM/WBM)
What do you think Mulder and Scully's best days were, respectively, as children?
He took her onto the navy ship which he he worked, showing her everything from the command room to the engine room. He took her to the tiny bunk beds where the crew slept, the head, and the kitchen. Young Dana looked at the living arrangements in horror.  When he took her to the forward dock of the ship and she could see the vast ocean before her. It was then that she understood her fathers love for the sea and adopted the same passion. It was this day that her love and respect for her father grew immensely, and sometimes where she needs to take a break from life and retreat to her happy place, it is on the dock of that ship.
Mulder and Scully come to separate but important realizations as starry-eyed children.
4. Mulder shopping for Scully
It had been easy in the past, with women like Diana and Phoebe, he found the most dazzling expensive piece of jewelry and they were happy. The gifts were nice but he never really put much thought into them. That wasn't Scully.
Post IVF-- Mulder wants to pick the perfect gift for Scully's birthday after the IVF and before the impending millennium.
BED SHARING
Scully continued on with he night-time ritual of putting on her pajamas, fluffing up her pillows, and turning down her sheets, when Mulder emerged from the bathroom. He plopped unceremoniously onto the bed disrupting the sheets that she had just perfected.
Pre-Dating-- Mulder and Scully take their own personal liberties.
20. “You need to wake up because I can’t do this without you.”
Heaving herself out of the sunken cushion of the battered chair, she pushed it closer to Mulder’s bedside. Once settled back into the Scully-shaped indent she had managed to create over the last three days, she hesitantly reached out and took Mulder’s hand in hers. Despite his improving condition, fear wound around her heart, squeezing out all hope and replacing it with the heavy weight of despair. He could very easily be ripped from her life once again.
Deadalive Scully waits (and begs) for Mulder to wake up.
A Nice Hike in the Woods (Ao3)
“Mulder, are we out here looking for aliens?”
“No” he chuckled. He held his arms out. They were surrounded by pine trees in various shapes and sizes. “Well…” he said. “Pick one”.
Scully raised her eyebrows looking up and down, questioning him with her eyes.
“No, Scully, a tree…. pick one”
Pre-IWTB Mulder tries to make their unremarkable house a home.
You're told to write/direct/produce a msr scene of your own doing for one of the revival episodes.......go.
Taking her left hand he raised it to the level of their eyes. Gently, he began to play with the silver band that no longer adorned her neck but once again, her ring finger.
“I gave this to you almost 4 years ago. I never made good on my promise.”
Revival Mulder and Scully are back on the road and back together, giddy and happy and ready for the next step.
Babylon Headcanon
“She is a doctor, Scully.”
“Yeah, so I’ve heard. Well, Mulder, I’ve been a doctor for a lot longer and let me tell you, if you ever do anything like that again, I will have you committed.”
“Scully… you know I will, eventually” he said with a smile.
Babylon Mulder cannot, of course, escape a Scully scolding.
You're the only one I trust (archive.org)
A free-floating assortment of The X-Files fics that are fun to scroll down and read.

Pilot Flipped (Ao3)
In contrast to the corridor outside, the office was brightly lit and austerely neat, its untidiest feature being a pinboard near the door that was covered in newspaper cuttings and photographs.  Even those were arranged in a semblance of order.  There was a desk which, apart from a stack of ageing files,  a set of document trays and a slide projector, seemed to be empty of even normal office equipment; and a set of shelves around the walls filled with orderly rows of books and box files.  Mulder couldn't remember the last time he'd seen any office in the Bureau looking so tidy, and he included the Director's inner sanctum in that assessment.
AU-- Pilot Mulder is assigned to Scully.
9 Minutes
The label inside the blouse collar bore the name of one of Scully's favourite outfitters and as she examined it, noting that the size was also her own, she made a disturbing discovery.  Just inside the neck of the blouse lay a small tangled gold chain and cross.
Scully's fingers flew to her own neck, where an identical cross, given to her by her mother on her fifteenth birthday, lay against her skin.  What the –
Her thoughts were suddenly jerked away by a distant scrabbling sound, barely audible above the noise of the machines around her....
Scully jumped to her feet.  That voice had been familiar.  "Mulder!" she shouted, hearing her voice echo horribly.
No reply, but there was a series of thumps and grunts, brought up finally by a loud thud.
AU-- Pilot Scully flashes to the FTF hallway in the 9 minutes she and Mulder lose on the road.
Conversations
There was a pause as she tried to hang onto her anger and hurt, but Scully's innate sense of what was fair wouldn't allow this statement to pass unchallenged.  "I don't know about that, Mulder," she observed ruefully.  "I can think of a couple of occasions when I haven't been particularly fair to you.  More than a couple, if I'm honest."
"I won't argue you with you, but nothing you've done, or imagine you've done, can possibly match how unfair I've been to you over the past five years."
"I don't want to play "my blame's bigger than your blame" either."
Mulder gave a rough chuckle.  "Okay."
Pre-Dating-- Mulder and Scully get nudged and scolded by her family (twice) and Skinner (once) before they finally confront their S6 hurts and confess their love... in a cave-in.

Sicktember 2022 Day 12: Psychogenic (Ao3)
He swallowed. “Scully, even if that’s what I’ve done to you–”
“Don’t make this about yourself.”
“Take care of yourself.”
S1 Scully's health keeps breaking down in her overexuberance to keep up; and Mulder, worried, tries to look out for her.
Sicktember 2022 Day 1 (Ao3)
“Chicken soup, I said–I said I’d bring you some,” he spluttered.
He was so desolate, it tugged at her heart.
“Buffalo chicken pizza soup, to be specific, I guess.”
Scully is sick and snappy about Mulder's mother henning, but relents.
Sicktember 2022 - Chapter 4
“Do you just want to get into pajamas now?”
“Mulder,” she sighed, slumping onto one bed, “you know they took our luggage.”
Ah, yes, when the vengeful cultists also smashed their rental car’s windows and slit its tires. They were nothing if not thorough. You had to grant them that.
Scully is running a temperature, and Mulder gets her to a motel as fast as he can with slashed tires and missing luggage.
Sicktember 2022 Day 5 (Ao3)
He leaned closer and drew a deep, argumentative breath against his congestion, instead sneezing dramatically.
“Great, now I have your germs all over me.”
Scully insists on taking Mulder home after he keeps sneezing in the office.
Sicktember 2022 Day 20 (Ao3)
They’d last seen each other at that briefing–was that three days ago already? By then even Mulder had admitted this case might not be an X-file.
No, a serial killer was ravaging across DC and their already non-existent work-life balance.
Buried in their office, Mulder swam in a sea of tissues, too.
Scully skips an autopsy to care for her sick, insomniac partner.
Sicktember 2022 Day 3: Painkillers (Ao3)
In the dim light, he could make out Scully’s eyes staring blankly at the ceiling. She rolled her head towards him as he leaned down to touch her matted hair. This was worse than he’d been expecting.
Cancer arc-- Mulder rushes to help Scully, reasoning past her refusal to take painkiller meds.
Sicktember 2022 Day 9: Home Remedy (Ao3)
“Scully? Scully!” Mulder called through their adjoining motel rooms’ door.
Faster than a conspirator to a smoke shop, she rushed out of bed and burst into his room.
Post Redux II Mulder's nose bleeds; and Scully rushes in to assess the injury and calm their panic.
Sicktember 2022 Day 10: Excessive Use of Tissues (Ao3)
Here Scully was, curled up with her Capote novella. Only Jeopardy playing in the background split her attention. Oh, and her sickly partner sniffing on her couch.
“Mulder, for the last time, blow your nose.”
“But, Scully,” he whined from her couch, “I just did.”
Dating-- Mulder is sniffly during a cozy night in.
@hamster-on-fire/fade_into_the_dusk_with_me's For The Sake Of Driving (Ao3)
‘I just. I need to drive, Scully.’
It’s trivial & bizarre & it really is too late....
‘Yeah- um, yeah, alright.’ She nods along to herself, as if he can see her. As if it matters.
Car rides shared between Mulder and Scully through the years.
@sunlightscully's
Travel
There are moments where he makes a fool of himself in airports. He catches glimpses of dark braids, swinging for just a moment before disappearing into the throng of people, and finds that his hands are shaking. She is forever escaping him, forever just a few steps ahead, and his chest tightens with the absolute conviction that it was her, that those braids belonged to her and now he has lost her again in the crowd.
It happens for the first time around Scully. She reaches for her gun and then his hand. He is incredibly grateful, suddenly; he hadn’t realized he’d been afraid that she wouldn’t.
Early seasons Mulder and Scully bond in airports, learning to appreciate each other.
City in the Clouds
He tells her he wants to settle down in the country, grow old where he can see the stars. He tells her she could be a mother, and she thinks for the first time of settling down with him. Fleetingly, she sees herself in the window of a little white farmhouse, wearing an apron. Cooking oatmeal.
She couldn’t stand it.
Scully realizes, years later, that she did want to live Home Mulder's domestic dream.
Kitchen
On the tabletop, her index finger splashes into a small pool of blood. “Come on,” she says, and Mulder leans obediently forward. The cut isn’t bad, or deep – head wounds always look worse than they actually are – but she dabs at it anyway, cleaning the blood away, applying disinfectant. He hisses, tries to move away, but she has one hand pressed to the top of his head, holding him steady.
Scully cleans up Mulder's latest injuries; and the two make a laughing but important blood brother pact.
Food
“There’s cheese on your mouth,” she says, and he tries to see it in the reflexion of the window but the car weaves and she grabs his arm instinctively.
“Mulder! Watch the road, I’ll do it.”
She wipes the corner of his mouth crudely with the scratchy brown napkin.
Mulder realizes he loves Scully while they eat food in the car, scratchy napkins and celestial comparisons serving as evidence for his belief.
Beautitudes
“I can’t accept it,” he says, and she wants to say, “You have to, it’s happening,” and, “There’s nothing anyone can do about it,” but he wouldn’t believe that either.
He makes everything harder.
Somehow, though, she is thankful. He’s fighting for her, and no one fights harder than Mulder.
Scully and Mulder support each other through their shared and separate tragedies.
My_Love_Forever's
The Strength of Their Beliefs
Sometimes he talks. Don't leave. I need you to stay. Keep fighting. I'll make them pay for this. I don't know who did this. I can't let them let you go and I can't make you stay.
One Breath Mulder desperately clutches Scully's necklace while Scully feels his gaze, even in her coma.
The Realization of Weakness
Hidden in the back of his mind, the thought of not finding the thought of the Scully he lost. He has noticed that things faze her that she never blinked at before. Now she turns away and says she needs a moment when she is faced with the horrors of the world where previously she would have been fired up with rage at the perpetuator and would be shooting down his theories with facts. That is one of the things he missed most when she was taken for that long time; he would say "I think you have a vampire problem here" and pause, expecting her to take a deep breath and start listing all the reasons why that can't be after her exasperated "Mulder."
Irresistible Mulder wants to help support or heal Scully, hoping that, somehow, he is.
Waiting, in Reverse Order
For once, in a change of pace, she waits at his bedside. They have changed places, one sleeps on the bed and the other keeps a vigil in the uncomfortable chair at the bedside. Last time she was the one in the bed and he was waiting but now they have changed. She saved his life and waits at his bedside, hoping that her last memory of him is not the one where he ditches her to keep her safe.
End Game Scully waits in the hospital instead of Mulder, for once.
Viridian5's
Blowing Smoke
"Things are tough all over," I replied in my best hard-boiled voice.
He smiled darkly. "A change is gonna come..."
"Yeah?"
"You may not see me again. I think I'll be getting a promotion soon. I only had to stab a few backs to capture it."
S2 thug observes Krycek on a break.
Haunted
//As the roar and keening whistle grew louder, I stood up and walked into the trough between the rails. With an increasing feeling of clarity and peace, I turned to face my ride. When I threw the empty bottle against the rails, I couldn't help smiling at the sharp, crashing sound it made as it shattered. It sounded final. The approaching train looked liked a darker, moving cutout in the night. Except for the flashing lights.
//The lights.
//I couldn't move. Terror and a bone-deep feeling of loss gripped me along with paralysis as the flickering lights froze me in place. I couldn't see through the glare, and I heard someone screaming, and I could swear it was a girl, and she was screaming words, but I couldn't make them out, even as I sensed that she yelled the same word over and over again, and I was helpless and couldn't move again...
//NOT LIKE THIS! FIGHT! MOVE!
Mulder is transported to the memories of his childhood suicidal ideations while investigating a ghost and train tracks casefile.
Dead to the World
He looked so pale and still lying there. He had something odd, something that had left bruises and abrasions, wrapped tightly around his neck. Two more lines of that something enveloped his wrists. When she felt his neck to search for a pulse her fingers brushed it and quickly shied away. It was warm, moist, and alive. The other end of each of the lines trailed off into the darkness.
But he still lived. She took a scalpel from her coat pocket and prepared to cut him loose.
Mulder's eyes slowly opened, as if consciousness didn't come easily. She watched so many emotions flicker through them before he settled on blankness.
S5 Mulder willingly lets a monster parading as Samantha kill him; and Scully watches, horrified at his suicidal tendencies.
Circle - Chapter 1
It’d be interesting to see what Alex’s Consortium would be like. Maybe no better. Maybe his would even be worse.
But he was the one paying me.
AU-- Cashier rises through the Consortium ranks with the help of Krycek... only to face him again, years later, in a darker context.
Unprotected
"You have a neck brace on. You could have been killed. It was a stupid thing to do."
Mulder couldn't tell if he felt rage or despair. It teetered from one side to the next from second to second. He told myself that she was just upset that he'd ditched her and injured himself again, but--
He remembered why he never confessed anything to her or anyone if he could avoid it.
An injured Mulder feels alone after a careless comment from Scully.
7-Eleven Nightmares at 3 a.m.
Mulder was surprised his whole head didn't get devoured in his last yawn, which felt like it had split his face. //If I were a cartoon character...//
An insomniac Mulder is bored out of his mind... then starts to question his sanity after spotting a cup of very black, very oily diner coffee.
Starbuck_Lover's Under The Milky Way - Chapter 1
“You insisted I come with you in the middle of the night, you won’t tell me where we’re going, and you’re being incredibly vague,” she gestured wildly, “Excuse me for noticing a pattern.”
“You’ll love it,” he beamed at her, “I promise.”
Mulder wakes Scully up, taking her to a field to watch the stars.
Deb Longley's
Whistlewood - Chapter 1
I take a little longer than I should to turn back around, but the room behind me has transformed: it is lit softly, by candles fixed on each side of the fireplace, casting amber halos on the walls, and the fireplace now has a fire, which has burned down to nothing but softly smoldering ashes....
I swing back in his direction. He hasn't budged. Unexpectedly, he moves past me into the room, startling me into a yelp which he doesn't seem to hear.
An unconscious Mulder witnesses the vision of a dead man sledgehammer his family.
The Fear Place
I wonder what other people see when they look at him; the man is beautiful with his wild, windblown dark hair, and eyes, and tall, lean frame. A few of them are audacious enough to look him up and down, but they usually stop when they get to his eyes. He's thirty-eight, but he has the eyes of an old soul. He sees deep, and through, observing things that others overlook. He looks at smiles and perceives the lies hiding behind them. He sees the truth.
Mulder's messed-up knee and mother-son dynamic drives him to call Scully on Thanksgiving for reinforcements. Tena finally relents, if only a little.
story_monger's Predictable
He’s predictable, and he knows that.
Want to see the Mulder guy do some flips? Stick him in front of a missing child’s report; make it a little girl with dark hair. Watch him run.
He feels sick....
They should know that there’s a girl missing, and she has dark hair, and she’s supposed to turn ten in a week.
Mulder loathes his own reactions to cases similar to Samantha's; and Scully helps him to calm and get some sleep.
enigmaticblue's
True Hearts
He’s told Scully that the truth will set them both free, but he feels like a hypocrite for saying it. Mulder believes in the truth, he trusts in its power, and yet he’s hiding the truth from his partner.
Mulder has half-convinced himself that it’s not important, that they have to get through this crisis first. He owes Scully the truth, but he can’t bring himself to add to her burden.
Post Memento Mori Mulder feels guilt over not telling Scully about her ova.
Let Them Eat Cake
Scully peruses the plate of donuts at the end of the table, irritated when she realizes that cake donuts are all that’s left. She feels someone lean in close behind her, and an arm snakes around to snag one of the chocolate-frosted ones with multi-colored sprinkles.
She glances over her shoulder to see Mulder’s grin. “You didn’t want that one, did you, Scully?”
She resists rolling her eyes through a strong effort of will. “I don’t like cake donuts, Mulder.”
“Cake donuts are the best kind,” Mulder protests, taking a big bite, catching the crumbs with his tongue.
S6 Mulder and Scully debate donuts at a team-building conference.
Under the Mistletoe
“Hm?” He adjusted his glasses as he looked up at her.
“Is there something you wanted to tell me?”
“About what?”
“You know about what.”
He frowned, clearly confused. “No, I don’t know. What did I do?”
Scully pointed to the mistletoe, waiting for him to confess, or at least smirk. Instead, his face remained completely innocent—although that didn’t mean much, since this was Mulder.
Pre-Dating-- Scully notices but avoids the mistletoe. Mulder does not.
Reflections
His old man had missed Vietnam, but Doggett had an uncle who’d joined up. He’d heard a few stories, most while on leave after boot camp. Uncle Duane seemed to think they shared a connection that hadn’t been there before, and he talked about steamy nights that were filled with gunfire and the smell of reefer.
Later, much later, when he’d been given an honorable discharge after Beirut, Uncle Duane had talked about the horror of watching your friends get limbs blown off, of hands stained with the blood of innocents.
Pre-This Is Not Happening Skinner shares the details of the Unrequited case with Doggett. Both wonder what was and wasn't worth it.
A Strong Shoulder
The knock on the door came as a surprise around ten, and Scully heaved herself up off the couch, one hand on her back for support. A quick glance through the peephole had her hurrying to open the door.
Mulder stood there, a crooked grin on his face, his eyes a little lost, a little vulnerable. “Hey.”
Post Three Words Mulder slowly drifts in, glad Scully wants him to stay even if he's handling reentry badly.
All I Ever Get For Christmas Is Blue
Scully gave thanks that William was such a good-natured baby; he stirred once as she bundled him up, opening his eyes sleepily, then immediately closed them again once he was secure in his carrier. Keys in hand, she set the car seat down in the hallway to lock the door behind her, then froze as she heard footsteps.
How was it that she could recognize his walk after he’d been gone for months? How was it that she could sense him coming even though she had no expectation of his arrival?
AU-- S9 Mulder returns to Scully and William for Christmas; but he leaves again, though both wishes he could stay.
@cauldronoflove/thegoodthebadandthenerdy's
Close Your Eyes, Be Patient
He stood in his forlorness like it was a new winter coat. It was draped across the downward curve of his shoulders, tugging impishly at his struggling-to-remain-steady mouth. It wasn't that she'd never seen him like this - as much as he tried to hide it, she knew there were certain cases that kept him awake long into the night, same as her - it was just that she'd never seen it so set in.
Pre-Dating-- Scully makes a calculated effort to carefully disentangle Mulder from his mind.
The Prairie State Debate
Dinner twisted away like dandelion wishes, table plated in hard plastic cups and warm to the touch dishes. The tea was syrupy sweet, made by the hand of a true Southern child despite their current place on the map, and the food sported heavy gravys and savory score marks - a combination that left Scully, two servings and only yeses for 'would you like a refill?' Scully, ready to collapse into the gossamer sheets of her bed until tomorrow.
But when she felt fingers on the rise of her shoulder, heard an absence of footsteps beside her, glanced up at a dazzling marquee, she lead the way in to the theater. She was tired, yes, but she had been more so, no doubt would be same time next week, and these moments like monthly allowances were something she needed as much as anything.
Dating-- Scully remembers their first not-date.
••• - •- -•--
It's dark out, moonlit sky extrapolating between the slats of still open blinds, but he gets the sense that it's not the same night he remembers falling asleep in. The only other light is a small lamp somewhere above him, casting low light that does nothing for his pale, thin skin. He looks fragile, even from his own estimates - battered and bruised and made from poorly picked and sewn together parts.
He can't help but think he doesn't deserve the smile he finds waiting for him, not in this state. That doesn't stop her though....
Scully saves a drugged up, nearly dead Mulder.
All I Need's a Fraction of Your Happy Heart
Scully ducked her head into the street, looking both ways before bustling across the crosswalk, Mulder following a single footstep behind. To onlookers, their height difference was exasperated as they hitched their arms up and jogged quickly through the sounds of honking traffic, but it never seemed to cross their minds. When they picked back up on the sidewalk, he ducked his head and leaned forward, just enough so she could hear him, just enough so she could let a laugh kick up her throat.
AU-- Scully, giddy and freshly married on a case, reflects on the events that led to their mutual proposal, and courthouse wedding.
Gravity, Oh Gravity
because the second thing he sees is scully. scully in a shirt he's had to have seen her in a thousand times, the one he thinks is green, but isn't sure because his eyes have always betrayed him. his eyes have to be betraying him. scully and-
and         and                  and
(and his heart stops beating.)
it thunders back to life as he stumbles forward, legs feeling like they've been chopped from his body and reattached in the wrong direction.
AU-- This Is Not Happening Mulder wakes on the ground to the stars and Scully's face. Even Skinner cries.
Looking Back Over My Shoulder (I See it Clear as Day)
There are few people that Mulder is okay with calling him Fox. Admittedly, they're all named Scully....
Her sister isn't, though.
Revival Mulder and Scully chuckle over Melissa's ghost's audacity to chew out her sister's partner.
@youweremytouchstone's First time she winked at him!
He looks back over at the door. As usual, nobody down her except for him this early in the morning. He turns his attention to the cases piling up on his desk.
And then in a flash, she’s at his desk, looking at him like she’s been there the last hour.
Dating-- Scully enjoys teasing Mulder and pretending it never happened.
@pukajen's (Ao3, LJ) Sleep Cycle
Even all these years later, it feels like a stolen moment to watch him sleep peacefully; undrugged, unconcussed, in their bed, the one they've shared for years. So many times in the past she's kept vigil over his hospital bed, watching him sleep, worried he'd never wake up.
Revival Scully still loves watching Mulder sleep.
@dinascully/unsedentary's Miles Adrift
She said something about being blinded by someone’s brights, losing control, ending up in the ditch, and he tries not to think about whether or not this was an accident. He’s already called Skinner.
He waits a few minutes before trying to start the car again. If he’s lucky, they’ll be on their way and home before Scully wakes up. But the car has other plans – it coughs pitifully, whines, and refuses to go anywhere.
Breakup-- Scully and Mulder reconnect after a car accident. His car breaks down, forcing them to have a tearful conversation.
Thanks for reading~
Enjoy!

i know most people don't know anything game dev and even i don't know much but some of your anons really need to documate themselves about what it takes to make a game and especially AAA games
because anyone knowing the strict minimum would know it's like impossible to have perfect work life balance when working on a AAA games... that’s not the kind of job where you clock in at 8 and clock out at 4, with plenty of time to unwind… and that is true for most artistic jobs actually
that's sad but it's like that
i was literally just ranting about this to @godtier lmao
Tumblr media
here's the reality of what we're looking at with RE9. either:
the project has been scrapped and rebooted multiple, multiple times at this point due to a lack of coherent vision by management (which is kind of what the director told us -- that it took them a long time to decide what to do next after RE7), leading to dev burnout and an underwhelming, patchwork product as pieces of the old versions of the game get slapped together in order to save on dev time and cost, or
the team keeps trying new ideas that aren't working, leading to massive changes in narrative direction, level design, enemy encounters, and gameplay flow and mechanics that will eventually erode the core message and experience that the game was supposed to convey
or both.
i've said it before and i'll say it again:
if we do not see RE9 by the end of this month, you should be very, very nervous about what that product ends up being.

sorry still thinking about this
quote from long, largely irrelevant, article that uses the above interview as a ref + the question it's referencing:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
so his son seemed to be okay with it at least? I don't know what their exact relationship was but I know they worked together a little. his absence of stating Nemoys opinion probably means they never talked about it, he disagrees with his father's opinion because he thinks it was uninformed, he doesnt respect his father's opinion, or he just didn't really think about it because of his own personal view of death centers around the living. which is fair.
Nimoy never spoke publicly about it all from what I can find.if he did its buried somewhere in a format that I couldnt find in the like. 20 minute googling sesh lol.
I know he was really money oriented when it came to his likeness being used, like as long as he was getting fairly compensated and it didn't imply that he personally endorsed something? but also I get/got the sense (it's been forever since I deep dived into this stuff) that he didn't have much control anyways. and what he had was more of a comprise. So who really knows what he would've wanted if he did have complete control. The fact that he didn't for so long, and what the fandom became, with fanworks , his co-workers opinions. I'm sure all of this would have influenced not only his personal opinion but also his public one.
There's this idea around death that a lot of people have that the deads wishes are largely irrelevant to the conversation, that they can't wish for anything at all. you respect their wishes and values so far as their influence and that's all. I think most people think this way.
but I guess I've never really thought like that. maybe cause I'm a bit of a death obsessed emo. I'm not going to go into detail about what I think but I do think it matters, what Nimoy would've wanted.
it's not the end of the world or anything. theres worse things. this is either part of some greater plan for the TOS continuation as a hole, or some sort of effort to get people hyped.
I think I need to look more into 876854 and stuff I guess. there's doesn't seem to be a ton of info? it's definitely super high budget. or using a crazy about of slave labor. or both. which is sooooooooo cool. so it's interesting how like. low key its being kept almost? maybe I'm just out of the loop and jumping to conclusions.
basically. there's no way of knowing. but the vibes make me feel like someone knows.
and really star trek is so big now, esp since it got bought by Disney the movies and the shows are completely different projects with different directions and ideas.

IETM - JSG 0852:2007 Architecture
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Frequently Asked Questions about IETM
What is full form of IETM?
Interactive Electronic Technical Manual.
Let’s understand what the meaning of IETM is. IETM is a Manual or softcopy of any book. Even PDF scanned files can also be called IETM. Any books, documents that are in digital format are IETMs.
Because if the book is seen in computer or whatever the manuals we see in a digital device is called Electronic Manual. If this manual is technical then it is called ETM, Electronic Technical Manual.
If this manual is dynamic or has multiple references in the form of hyperlinks, hotspots, etc, it is called Interactivity.
Whichever Manual is digital has technical information and contains cross-references are called Interactive electronic Technical Manual.
What is an IETM document, is it like Word or PDF?
Many people think that IETM is a separate format like MS Word (.DOC) or Portable Document File (PDF).
IETM is a technical term used to represent but not a format. Even PDF file is also ETM. Normal scanned images compiled together is Level -1 IETM and PDF has hyperlinks, cross-references, indexing which means interactivity is called Level -2 IETM.
Level -3 IETM uses XML or HTML and makes it much dynamic than PDF. Level -4 is database-based IETM. All the manuals are converted into the MYSQL database and stored. A viewer is used to access the data based on the user request, data will be pulled from the database and displayed to user.
Level-1 and LEVEL -2 its PDF file. Level -3 HTML-based web application, LEVEL 4 is Databases based web application.
What is IETM Viewer?
IETM Viewer is software that is used to see the manuals that are converted into a database.
Level 1,2 does not need any IETM viewers because they are PDF files. Level -3 is HTML based. A complete manual is converted into HTML/XML files page-wise like we create a website. Images, illustrations will be placed in a folder. HTML/text, Images, Illustrations, Images, etc are called media assets.
Using IETM Viewer, one can see all the files in a structured way. IETM Viewer is a piece of software that is used to view the documents and also used for interactivity and switch between topics, subtopics, cross reference, hyperlinks, etc.
In the case of Level -4 this viewer is very powerful and gives full power to the user for quick access.
Where do I use IETM?
IETMs are basically used in the defense system. A couple of years backs OEMs used to deliver many sets of hard copies to end-users (Navy/Army/IAF) if the number of pages is less, in this case, it is easy to refer for troubleshooting or operational procedures, etc.
For complex systems i.e. Missiles, Defence vehicles, communication, and non-communication systems where many systems and subsystems are involved, which makes the document count goes in thousands.
In such cases when the issue arises it will be very difficult to do quick referring. In such cases, IETMs are very very effectively used.
These IETMs are now made as mandatory deliverables along with actual equipment by the Indian defense.
This IETM follows Indian defense guidelines, standards JSG 0852:2019 which gives guidelines for IETM structure.
WHAT IS IETM AND WHAT IS NOT IETM?
IETM Vs 3d Blowups
There is a misconception about IETM. As the name indicates interactive, then people assume that it is a 3d based on blowup software. Interactive means, users can browse or cross-refer or interact with the software to search on a particular topic/sub-topic.
Assume that you have 3000 pages in 10 different manuals, you cannot refer to all the pages quickly. But this interactive electronic technical manual searches the entire database of 3000 pages in a second and displays results. Because all the text is converted into the database, hence search and retrieval will be done in seconds. Users can see related topics and also on rollover of text, users can see images, Video or text descriptions, etc.
Users can save bookmarks and annotate text etc. Users can see his search history, document access history, etc.
These elements are called INTERACTIVITY. These features power the document and make it an Interactive electronic manual. These documents are technical in nature and seen using electronic devices hence they are termed interactive electronic technical manuals.
Interactivity does not mean, clicking on the part it will blow up into sub-parts, and clicking on a subpart it will further blow up and an explanation comes in voice-over, etc.
They are called 3d Blowups or 3d Virtual reality models and Computer-based tutors (CBTs)
Having said this, still we can put these 3d blowups in IETM. If OEM has any videos or 3d animation blowups then we can plug them into IETM.
IETM Assignment.
This job is creating Interactive Technical Manuals Level -4
IETM Vendor will only make IETM by using inputs given by the Client
Videos, Images, Cad drawings/PDF, to be provided by Client only
Whatever Videos, Graphics, Diagrams, etc available with the client will be integrated into IETM
IETM Vendor will not create any 3d animations or 3D Models, or 2 d Animations, 2d Drawings, etc. Whatever the 3d file, OEM has, we will plugin in IETM only.
Videography, photography or cad designing, blowup drawings designing, etc will not be done by IETM Vendor
3d Animations and blowups can be taken as separate tasks based on the complexity of the system and the level of blowups that you want. We have a separate division to take up such assignments.
If your SCOPE /SOTR /RFP says IETM then stick to IETM only. These 3d animations cost more than IETM cost.
Another important point to check is which IETM level the client/ SCOPE is asking for. Generally, they may ask for Level 3 or Level 4. (If your RFQ is 5 years old around 2016-17 then they may ask for Level -2)
The latest RFPs / SCOPE asks for Level -4 only.
If your client simply says IETM then opt for IETM level 3 only. Because Level 4 costs almost double of Level -3.
Why OEMs need IETMs when they have PDF manuals
As per the new guidelines of defense, all the OEMs must supply IETM along with the physical component.
What are the features of IETM viewer?
Login-based access, Next, Previous, History, Search, Annotations, Bookmark, Activity tracker, Fullscreen, Hotspot/hyperlinks, Image-based hotspot, Text-based hotspots, Video-based Hotspots, Change password, Content tree, expandable and collapsible, homepage main menu items, etc.
How do I run IETM from DVD?
Yes, if it is IETM Level 3, you can run from DVD, because it does not have any database. Its standalone HTML 5 based pages with IETM Viewer. IETM Level 3 does not update your navigation history or user credentials etc hence can be run from DVD. Whereas Level 4 is database based, hence requires database installation. LEVEL 4 tracks all user activity and user-wise reports hence, every activity is tracked and the database keeps updating always. That is the reason IETM level 4 does not work from DVD or CD
How many Levels are in use?
When the electronic revolution started in 1990, PDF files were used as IETM till 2000. They used to be scanned images/raster images. Searching and hyperlinking indexing were not possible in those raster images. These are called LEVEL -1 IETM.
Advancement in technology, use of OCR, and other features was added in PDF files. Thus PDF was made with selectable text, images, tables, hyperlinks, and indexing etc. Cross-references hyperlinks made PDF more interactive and user-friendly. These were called LEVEL -2.
In level -2 there was one limitation. If the user manual or PDF file is single, then LEVEL 2 worked well. Hyperlinks inside a single PDF were possible but refereeing multiple PDFs i.e. cross-reference between manuals was again a challenge. For instance, let us assume that a user is looking for troubleshooting of some device and the troubleshooting requires the user to see the operational manual and technical manual etc.
Cross referring to multiple manuals was a problem. During that time HTML 5 has very strongly emerged as technology (2012). Taking advantage of technology, all these files are converted into HTML -5 and an IETM viewer is a piece of software program developed to see the files. This is LEVEL -3.
When the documents were thousands in number and ultra-quick navigation is needed for user inputs. In this scenario LEVEL, -4 was evolved. Level -4 is Database driven software which is way ahead powerful than all the previous levels.
What is the Indian standard of IETM?
This IETM was initiated in US defense having MIL-PRF-87268A number (MIL-M-87268, 87269) Based on these MIL standards, the Ministry of Defense, Directorate of Standardization, Joint service Guide (JSG) has framed guidelines which is 0852:2019.
Code and Pixels IETM framework is developed based on the Indian defense standard.
Why IETMs are used?
In earlier days, OEMs used to deliver hard copies of manuals due course of time it has become scanned image so that space is reduced. As technology advanced, PDF and Interactive PDFs were delivered. For more fats and better reference, IETMs were evolved which are database based hence takes very little space and fast in terms of searching for key ford and excellent for cross-referring between multiple manuals.
How many IETM standards are in use?
INDIAN Defense Standard JSG 0852 and International aviation standard S1000D.
Is IETM freeware or open source?
IETM is not freeware and not open-source. It’s customized software developed as per the defense guidelines. This IETM framework or software is designed using Angular, Node.Js, MYSQL databases. IETM software has 3 Login modes. User, Admin, and Super Admin or authoring tool.
Users can see the manuals and Admin can create users and monitor user activities and super Admin can be used to create IETM content/database. Super Admin is also called as Authoring mode.
Do I need to know the programming language to make/ develop IETM?
If you want to edit IETM level -3, you need basic HTML. Edit means you can edit the IETM developed by us. Similarly, if you want to edit IETM Level -4 you need not have any programming skills. We have inbuilt text editors to edit the content and easy to use GUI to update the content.
How can I see my IETM on mobile?
YES, IETM can be viewed from different devices and different sizes of monitors.
How can I Install IETM Level 4 in Linux?
Yes, IETM can be viewed in Linux OS.
What browsers support IETM Viewing?
All the browsers support IETM viewing.
What is EXE based? Is IETM EXE based or Browser-based
A few years ago IETM was EXE based. Due course of time, browsers have become more powerful and easy to use, and they are compatible with multiple devices and OS independent hence, browsers have taken over EXE-based IETMs.
What are the disadvantages of EXE based IETMs
EXE-based IETMs are obsolete now. A few years back, in 2015 Exe based IETMs were delivered to clients. A separate EXE has to be delivered for 64 bits system and also for 128 bits system. IETMs cannot be seen in Mobiles or Tabs. Hence all the EXE based IETMs are converted to browser-based IETMs
How to see the IETM demo?
Contact [email protected] from your official mail ID and schedule a demo
Why My RFQ says is IETM but has not mentioned any standard
IF IETM is mentioned in RFQ then it is Indian JSG 0852 standard only. Only very few end users are asking for S1000D. The use specifically mentions S1000D if they are looking for that standard.
How IETM is priced?
It depends on the number of pages and Basic software cost. If OEM wants an authoring tool, the additional amount is paid. Price also depends on standard. In general, s1000d cost 4 times more than the INDIAN standard.
What are the deliverables of IETM to the client?
Deliverables are, IETM DB ( Database), IETM Viewer to see the DB and a server file, and Installation manual and User manual ( User manual and Admin manual) If you are also delivering Authoring tool then Authoring modules user manual.
What is S1000D IETM?
The way JSG 0852 is the standard of Indian IETMs, S1000D is the standard for defense IETM.
Usage may be similar, but the Complete structure of IETM is entirely different from Indian standards.
S1000D uses XML files whereas JSG uses MySQL as a database. S1000D is a very costly solution. Users/Navy need to have S1000D CSDB studio to get all the documents converted as per S1000D.
If the navy /airforce does not have an S1000D suit or a CSDB studio then going for S1000D is absolutely no use. It is just like going for Level -3 IETM of Indian standard.
What are the files used for S1000D?
For S1000D, IETM is generated using CSDB studio which is authoring and distribution software. Once the document is authored then, it is exported as S1000D IETM. CSDB exports as XML package and also as IETM. This XML package has a Manifesto file wrapped with XML files. These XML packages can be imported into any Standard CSDB application.
How can we call XML based IETMs S1000D
Definitely not. S1000D IETM output is XML which used thousands of S1000D tags and DMs. Hence IETM developed using XML is not S1000D IETM. CSDB studio is needed to export IETM. CSDB studio maintains all version changes and Data Modules (DM) etc. Normal XML based IETMs can be called S1000d based IETMs.
What does CSDB stand for?
Common Source DataBase is a software used to generate S1000D IETMS. S1000d is an international specification for developing technical publications.
Does any of indian companies own CSDB studio
S1000D is a recent concept introduced in India. S1000D IETMs are being developed by big aerospace companies but they use foreign-based CSDB i.e. Boeing spectrum etc. They cost crores. Indian companies use CSDB of western countries as of now.
Any XML-based application cannot be called CSDB studio.
What does CSDB studio do?
CSDB Studio can create S1000d specified pages/DMs using specific Tags. CSDB can import original S1000D DMs and export any project into 2 3 outputs. IETM Viewer, XML package and PDF file.
CSDB studio can produce different DMs for different types of content.
What is an S1000D data module?
A file or XML produced using CSDB studio is called Data Module. Its self-contained unit of data. It means it can be imported into any other CSDB studio
What is a Data Moudule Requirements List (DMRL)?
As the name indicates, it’s a complete list of data modules that are required to make a project or export a project.
What is data module code?
It’s a unique code given for each data module. A 17 to 41 character alphanumeric code. No DMs will have the same name. Every DM is identified by its DMC.
We are OEMs and serving indian navy. Our client wants us to deliver IETM along with the Machinery/systems/Vehicle/Equipment. What inputs should i take from my client? We have no knowledge about IETM. We are supplying all the manuals in PDF format and hard copies. Why navy needs IETM?
From 2018, all Defense/Navy/Air force clients are asking for IETM along with other training Aids such as CBT, Video Film, Charts and Boards, and Technical literature Hardcopies.
Based on the complexity of your Machinery/System/Vehicle/Equipment, you will need to provide different types of manuals as deliverables. (User handbook, Design specifications, Technical manuals, and Illustrated spares parts list)
Manufacture recommended list of spares, DIM, SMT & STE, ISG, MS, PRS, Inventory, Deployment manuals, Combat manuals, Operating manuals, Maintenance manuals and many more as per your system. The count of all together may range from 5000 to 25,000 for big systems.
If the user has to refer for a topic, then she/he has to refer to all 10-15 manuals hard copies or soft copies (PDFs) separately. It’s a time taking and troublesome process and also not completely resourceful.
For example, if a user wants to search for some particular LRU (line replaceable unit) then he has to open each and every PDF and search for the LRU. He will get many results and it will be hard to refer to all the 16 PDFs at a time. Sometimes, he may have to refer to 2-4 manuals together for a solution. In this case, traditional PDF file or Hard copy will have many limitations.
To overcome the limitations, IETMs are designed.
IETM basically combines all these manuals and creates interactivity between all the manuals and drawings etc. That’s the reason it’s called Interactive Electronic Training Manual.
In IETM, all the manuals and drawings, images, and videos will interact with each other through hyperlinks, hot spots and cross references etc. Thus, searching for topics is made possible in a single click with 100% efficient result.
Ask your client whether they want IETM Level 3/Class 3 or Level 4/Class 4. And count how many pages of text they have.
Price varies based on the number of pages and the Level of IETM. Level 3/Class 3 is less expensive than Level 4/Class 4
What is the deliverable format of IETM manual? PDF or HTML or DOC?
Though the name reads Electronic Training Manual, it is not a single file or Manual. IETM is a software package.
A software where all the pages of manuals are converted and embedded in IETM framework or IETM software.
IETM is a software where all your manuals sit.
What in puts you need to make IETM?
May it be IETM level -3/Class 3 or LEVEL -4/Class 4, we need all the manuals which are to be converted (either into PDF or Word format), all the images (JPEG, PNG, TIF) and all the CAD drawings converted in PDFs and Videos that are to be embedded into IETM.
We need table of content/content classification done by your subject matter experts.
We also need your subject matter expert’s help in connecting documents and also giving hyperlinks, related topics, glossary etc.
I Want exploded view of our machine in IETM?
If you have any Videos or Images already made, then we will put exploded views in IETM. The IETM vendor’s responsibility is to embed all inputs provided by OEM into IETM frame work.
The IETM scope does not cover the designing of Charts, Blowups, Exploded Views, and Animations etc.
If you want exploded views, then that will be taken as content development activity.
How many days will it takes to develop IETM?
It depends on the number of pages to be converted. We have done almost 35 IETMs of various levels. As per our experience to make Level 3/Class 3 IETM having 5000 pages, it takes around 30 days.
For documents 10,000 to 20,000 it takes around 60 days.
Major hindrance that we face is availability of final documents from OEM.
We had this experience several times that OEMs have to collect documents from many sources and number of versions are available for each document. OEMs usually focus on actual equipment but not on documentation of equipment. Collecting final approved files from OEM is the biggest challenge in IETM development. If all the final approved documents are in place, it takes standard time as mentioned above.
IETM for Army
There is no specific standard for IETM ARMY. For Indian defense, there is a single standard used. May it be for ARMY IETM, NAVY IETM, or AIR FORCE IETM. The standard id JSG 0852.
What will be our role?
You need to nominate a person as a Point of Contact from your end. Our technical team will be in constant touch with the POC to take approval on UI and UX (User interface and user experience), i.e. the logos to be used, color formats, table of content finalizing and cross checking of IETM etc.
My client wanted IETM in DVD?
Probably, your client must be looking for IETM level 3/Class 3. IETM level 3/Class 4 only can be played from CD/DVD player. IETM -4 requires installation as it used Database.
When do we need IETM-3 AND IETM-4?
It depends on your client’s requirement. General practice is, IETM level 3/Class 3 is used when documents are less, i.e. below 5000. When documents are more, IETM -4 is required.
Having said that, we have also done 5000 Pages IETM Level 4/Class 4 or Level 5/Class 5 and 6000 pages Level 3/Class 3.
It completely depends on the Client. If your system is small, you can convince them to go for IETM level 3/Class 3
I find very few IETM vendors and how different are you from others?
We are the only company having experience of delivering 30 + IETMs in past 5 years and one of the few companies having experience in developing the IETMs for Indian defense
We worked closely In associated with all the Defense Labs and we are fully aware of their requirements as almost 30 IETMs are being used by various Army or Naval, Air Force headquarters and training centers and Army Air Defense Colleges etc.
You can verify our Purchase Orders and approval letters.
IETM is the combination of software and data conversion. We have the strength of 50 + software and content development professionals and we guarantee delivery date as we have experienced resources having dealt with 30 project life cycles.
We have a strong R&D team, which exclusively works on improving software as per the latest technologies.
My tender does not specify Level 3 orLevel 4. What should I do?
We have come across a few Tenders, especially 3-4 years back tenders, where the client has just mentioned IETM only. Did not mention whether it is Level 3 or Level -4.
Generally, the cost for Level 4 is almost double of cost of Level -3. Hence you can take decisions based on the size of systems i.e. number of pages etc.
If pages are below 1000, you can propose or deliver Level -3.
My tender does not specify JSG 0852 or S1000D. What should I do?
Very few clients ask for S1000D. The clients who have CSDB studio with them only need S1000D. In India, only 2 or 3 government organizations might have CSDB studios. CSDB studio is very costly, in crores.
All the IETMs should be developed as per JSG 0852: 2015, unless they mentioned specifically to develop in S1000D, which is the European aviation standard to develop IETMs.

The Real Zerzura Was The Friends We Made Along The Way: A Sahara Expedition LARP Report
I recently returned from Tunisia, where I played in the Sahara Expedition LARP organized by Chaos League. This was a Live Action Role Play game loosely based on the stories of H.P. Lovecraft, in which we were seeking the (fictional) lost city of Zerzura in the (actual) Sahara Desert. It was one of the most intense LARPs I've ever played. This report contains SPOILERS. LARP is a big tent, incorporating many types of game, and Sahara Expedition was of the species "International Blockbuster LARP," which means that it had a large cast (about 80 players) drawn from all over Europe and the USA, a realistic setting (a hotel and two campsites in the Sahara Desert), and very substantial advance preparation by the organizers and players to deliver a fully immersive experience. Each player was preassigned a character with a detailed background and personality traits -- my character sheet was about twelve single-spaced pages -- and we were expected to arrive with appropriate costumes and equipment for the 1934 setting. In addition, many period-appropriate props and set pieces were provided by the organizers, along with tents, mattresses, and three delicious meals each day (I was extremely impressed by the food, especially given that it was being prepared from scratch by a small crew in the middle of the desert). Although this game was inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, it wasn't based on any specific Lovecraft story and it certainly did not include Lovecraft's sexism or racism. Characters were all written without specifying gender or race and we were free to play our character as any gender we chose. Most of the players were white -- I believe there were two people of color and one Asian -- but where tensions existed between the European player characters and the local people they took place mostly offstage and were based on differing priorities rather than any sense of superiority or inferiority. What the game did draw from Lovecraft was a sense of "cosmic horror" in which we were forced to confront situations and phenomena far beyond mortal ken and face vastnesses of space, time, and power which strained the human mind even to contemplate. This was not the kind of horror LARP in which costumed NPCs jumped out from behind dunes to frighten the players -- the horror was instead existential and subtle. But, as we were warned at the beginning, it wouldn't end well for any of us. The expedition was a joint venture of four institutions: the Royal Geographic Society handled cartography, documentation, and logistics; Miskatonic University handled archaeology, art history, and linguistics; the W. Isynwill Foundation handled clairvoyance and spiritism; and the Legion handled security and medicine. Each player was associated with one of the institutions, and the first letter of our character names and a specific color of scarf or clothing made it immediately obvious which institution a character belonged to. (Having every member of the Royal Society's name begin with R was simultaneously very helpful and extremely confusing, because it could be difficult to keep over twenty R-names straight.) In general the relationships between the groups were cordial and cooperative, as we all worked together to solve the many mysteries and obstacles the expedition encountered in the desert. Most of the conflict in the game was interpersonal or with the inimical desert and cosmic forces. Each of us had a specific job to do. I was part of the Royal Geographic Society's Documentation Department, tasked with recording the expedition's discoveries and producing a documentary film of the expedition. I myself was the scriptwriter (typecast much?) and I worked with the director, assistant director, cinematographer, still photographer, and actor. (Yes, just one actor. He was very good.) My partner Amy, diving into the deep end on her first LARP, was the still photographer. The Documentation department didn't have any specific responsibilities regarding digging up artifacts in the desert, decoding ancient tablets, mapping routes, or conducting seances with the spirits of long-dead pharaohs, but we did get to be present for all of those. As with the Documentation departments in which I've worked in tech, we had a top-down overview of the whole project rather than being siloed into just one specialty, and that was pretty cool. On the first day of the game we awoke in a four-star hotel on the edge of the desert, where we had a full day of out-of-character workshops to acquaint us with the other members of our institution and department, the equipment and responsibilities of our individual jobs, and the various techniques and metatechniques that would keep the players physically and psychologically safe in the game (including safewords and techniques to escalate or de-escalate inter-character conflict). Then after dinner, we put on our costumes for an in-character gala to celebrate the beginning of the expedition. This was, for many of us, the first time our characters were meeting each other before setting off for the desert, and given that we would be working closely together and many of us had previous relationships with other characters it was a bit of a scrum, with everyone trying to make contact with all their work and social relations at once. Those previous relationships were an extremely important part of the game. It was a bit like Lost, in that the number of people who had extremely significant backstory with other characters -- many of whom had not seen each other for years or decades until happening to find each other on the same expedition -- was far beyond what chance alone could explain. As players we knew that this was to create drama, but as characters we suspected that there were dark and mysterious forces at play. "The veil is thin here," we frequently told each other. So between reconnecting with long-lost loves or enemies, doing our jobs, and trying to find the clues and unravel the mysteries to make our way to the lost city of Zerzura, we did not lack for things to do each day. On the morning of the second day we checked out of the hotel (leaving behind all inessential baggage to be picked up after the game) and piled into a caravan of 4x4 vehicles, driven by professionals, which took us across the trackless desert to our campsite. "Bouncing across the Sahara Desert in a 4x4 had not been on my bucket list," I said as we powered up one side of a dune and slid down the other, "but now I'm adding it so I can cross it off." The campsite itself consisted of one large tent for meals and group gatherings, just big enough for the 80 of us; several medium-sized tents for headquarters, cooking, and medical (one for in-character medical and another with real doctors); and about 14 traditional Berber tents with six mattresses each for sleeping. These were open on one side and were held up with unfinished sticks, but were quite sturdy and perfectly adequate for the conditions. (It was in the 70s-80s F during the day and 50s-60s at night.) We divided ourselves up among the tents by institution and, where feasible, by department. We really were deep in the Sahara Desert -- an hour's drive from the nearest town, surrounded by miles and miles of nothing but sand and the very occasional bush. We were sufficiently equipped with food and drinking water, but there were no showers, no sinks, and for toilet facilities we had "the world's largest litterbox." (We were instructed to bury our waste, including toilet paper, but to pack out any wipes or other trash.) The term "taking a dune" quickly took over from "going to the bathroom." And it was sometimes a bit of a challenge to walk far enough from camp for a bit of privacy without either getting lost (especially at night) or running into someone else on a similar errand. Each day we had a schedule of meals, morning and afternoon work sessions, and meetings with our departments. It was kind of a workplace LARP, and in addition to doing our jobs we also had to file reports with our superiors (and they with theirs) and coordinate with other departments. The archaeology and art history departments, coordinating with cartography, went off into the desert on "sub-expeditions" to dig up new sites whose locations had been determined by examination of cuneiform tablets, decorated vases, and notes from the previous, lost, expedition, and the Documentation team tagged along to record the excavation. Each sub-expedition unearthed new artifacts and information, which when examined and decoded led to additional new sites and new insights into previously unearthed artifacts. Occasionally photographs would come back from the lab showing people and markings that hadn't been visible when the photo was taken. The spiritualists and astral travelers of the Isynwill Foundation performed seances and rituals on the artifacts as well, which revealed more clues. (In-game we were expected to take the insights of the spiritualists as seriously as those of the archaeologists and linguists.) Each new clue led us closer to the lost city of Zerzura. But there were also forces trying to stop us from reaching our destination. We found evidence of recent rituals in the desert, with protective amulets and messages of warning, indicating that the local people were opposed to our mission. Our supply caravan vanished, leaving only a skeleton gnawed clean by beetles and a letter demanding that we turn back. Ancient documents, when translated, warned of a nameless evil that should not be disturbed. The spirit of the great pharaoh also warned us not to open the gate. But did we listen? Heck no! Every warning made us still more determined to overcome all obstacles and achieve our goal. "To Zerzura!" was our toast and our watchword. Each of us was provided with a diary in which to record our progress, but we were instructed not to turn each page before it was time, because the diary also included pre-written entries that told us how to behave as we drew closer and closer to our goal... and descended into madness. We knew from the beginning that we would all go mad, but each of us had our own path and our own timeline. My own madness took the form of the increasingly insistent voice of my dead college girlfriend -- a woman with whom I and one of the other characters had both been in love back then -- calling me a coward for having abandoned her and demanding that I apologize. So I repeatedly dropped to my knees in the sand and apologized tearfully to someone who wasn't there. Late in the first day in the desert we received a packet of letters and newspapers from home, which of course had significant news for just about everyone. In my case it was a news article indicating that the parents of my dead girlfriend, acting on new information, had exhumed her body and discovered that she had not died of a fever but of poison! I sought out the other character who had known her back then to deliver the news, which led to an extremely fraught and accusatory conversation in which many old wounds were reopened... and then suddenly her demeanor changed, and I realized I was talking not to my colleague but to our departed lover, who was speaking from Beyond through my colleague's mouth. (My colleague was from the Isynwill Foundation and for her to be taken over by a spirit was not entirely unexpected.) She repeated her accusations of my cowardice and betrayal; tearfully I insisted that I had loved her and would do anything to make up for the harm I had done. "Avenge me!" she said. "How? When?" "When it is time, you will know." Then she went calm and said "It has been so long since I have had a body," then reached out and touched my cheek. "I recognize that touch," I said, and collapsed in a flood of real tears. The scene -- entirely improvised by both of us -- had played out with such reality and intensity that I was completely overcome. When I recovered myself I discovered that my colleague had passed out and now lay completely insensate on the sand. Others came by, attracted by the noise we'd made, and attempted to revive her, to no avail. Eventually members of the Legion physically carried her to the medical tent, where she was attended by both Legion doctors and Isynwill psychics. "How long was she under the spirit's control?" I was asked. "It felt like 20-30 minutes." "What? Ten minutes is the limit! She could die! What were you doing, running a seance without support!" "It wasn't supposed to be a seance! I had no idea this would happen!" Eventually they told me to go to the mess tent and get something to eat while they continued to tend to my colleague. Half an hour later she showed up at the mess tent, demanding to know what had happened. She remembered none of it. After my head had cleared I considered what I'd learned, using both in-game and out-of-game information. If I were to avenge her during the game, that implied that the murderer was someone who was present in the Sahara... and my colleague and I were the only characters who shared that bit of backstory. So, I concluded, it must have been my colleague who had poisoned our mutual girlfriend, jealous that she had loved me more than her, and "when it was time" she would, I guessed, confess the act and I would be called upon to avenge her. But could I really take a living person's life on the say-so of a ghost? I met with my colleague's player out-of-character and discussed the mechanics of a choking scenario. (There are stage combat techniques to create an impressive choke without risk of harm to anyone.) We were both familiar with these techniques and discussed time, place, and boundaries. And then I asked "So... did you kill her?" "What?" she replied, completely blindsided. It turned out that the whole "avenge me" thing had been something the other player had improvised, not something from her diary or character sheet! So I reconfigured our confrontation, instead simply meeting her in-character to tearfully discuss our mutual lost love and discuss the fact that sometimes "vengeful spirits" were not actually who they claimed to be. We had a very sweet reconciliation on a dune and stared off into the sunset side by side. Meanwhile, we drew ever closer to Zerzura. On the second day in the desert we set off across the dunes, a two-hour walk standing in for a fourteen-day trek, following clues found in a newly discovered diary from the previous, lost expedition. Our baggage followed, on a caravan of actual camels. And then we arrived at the previous expedition's camp, which stood empty and untouched. There we found additional documents revealing the previous expedition's fate and outlining the final rituals to open the gate to Zerzura! All we had to do was wait for the stars to align. By this point I, both in-character and out, had what I'd describe as "senioritis," which is to say that I was no longer paying a lot of attention to my job or interpersonal relationships but was prepared to see out whatever came next. We'd come this far, and turning back was not really an option. My partner and fellow player Amy mused out-of-character that we might possibly be in an actual cult, and at that point I couldn't say for sure that wasn't the case. The sun went down and the stars came out, a vast and spectacular desert sky including the Milky Way and numerous shooting stars. We gathered in a circle and began chanting words in a long-dead language. And then... Okay, I did say at the top of this report that there would be spoilers. I even wrote up a description of the finale. But I feel that, out of respect to the organizers, I should keep that information to myself. If you really need to know what happened, send me a private message or email. Suffice it to say that it was spectacular and a quite satisfactory ending to an amazing LARP. And no one lived happily ever after.

5 reasons to hit Denver’s CinemaQ Film Festival
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When the CinemaQ Film Festival opens Thursday at the Sie FilmCenter, in addition to its strong slate of feature-length films and shorts, fiction and documentary stories, it will launch BLQ. The new initiative – a partnership between Denver Film and the LGBTQ+ organization Black Pride Colorado — underscores just how nimble Denver Film’s beacon of queer cinema remains. The loving brainchild of Keith Garcia, artistic director of the Sie FilmCenter, and Black Pride Colorado founder Tara Jae, BLQ (Black Lives Queerly) centers on the experiences of black LGBTQ+ people. The organizations have done programming together before but the two see in this new program an opportunity to build on that relationship. “Keith has been in my corner for a few years, and we often have talked about the importance and lack of space for Black queer creatives in Colorado,” Jae said in an email. “As we continued our dialogue and observed what was happening nationally, the opportunity to have space during CinemaQ opened up. This partnership with Denver Film and Black Pride Colorado is an opening for us to continue to curate spaces and build a platform out for our Black queer creatives in the community.” “We asked ourselves, ‘What does that organization need? What can we do to help to bring everyone together?,’ ” said Garcia. It turned out to be a very
simple answer, he said. “Queer Black voices need more amplification than most, especially within the LGBTQIA community.” Garcia sees the first day of films, a panel and a gathering on Saturday, Aug. 10, as a celebratory debut of the relationship. Why should you attend? Consider: Reason 1: A strong start. Sometimes how you start a new undertaking says everything about how it will flourish. Saturday, BLQ gets the kind of day of programming that should launch the Denver Film-Black Pride Colorado collaboration in style. “The ability to express oneself is deeply rooted in our mental health,” said Jae, who uses the pronoun “they.” The social worker knows how central the arts are to the mental health of individuals, to community health and, by extension, the robustness of our city. “Our Black queer community is rich and vibrant and resilient, which fuels the culture of Denver,” they said. “It’s much more than representation. It’s exposure, it’s experience. I often tell people who come in from out of town to experience any of our events, ‘Don’t sleep on Denver — there is so much more to come, and we are just getting started.’ ” (Saturday, Aug. 10) Reason 2: Because there is always a gem. With its superb use of animation, archival and fresh footage, the documentary “Any Other Way: The Jackie Shane Story” may be this year’s jewel. Denver jazz station KUVO’s All Blues show is dynamite, so there’s a chance you already know about the late-1950s and ’60s R&B artist Jackie Shane, who all but vanished in 1971. If you don’t, this loving exploration by Canadian filmmakers Michael Mabbott and Lucah Rosenberg-Lee will open your eyes — and ears — to the mesmerizing performer who was friends with Little Richard, sang in a voice with hints of Tina Turner and Jackie Wilson, and who was transgender. The film is buoyed by readings of the Nashville-born singer’s autobiography found by nieces who didn’t even know about their aunt until her death. It’s anchored by interviews that Mabbott conducted with the reclusive star in the last year of her life. (Saturday, Aug. 10, 1 p.m.) Reason 3: Because justice sought hurts but inspires, too. Venus Extravaganza (left) brought the heat to the iconic documentary “Paris is Burning.” Her unsolved murder is the subject of “I’m Your Venus” by Kimberly Reed. (Participant Media) The tensions over who gets to tell a subculture’s story may be one of the more complicated legacies of the iconic 1990 documentary “Paris Is Burning,” about the ball scene in New York City, by director Jennie Livingston. (See this year’s CinemaQ short about appropriation, “So You Wanna Vogue, Huh?”) But one of the most wrenching legacies is that the supernova of the powerful film, Venus Extravaganza, was murdered before its release. In her critically lauded documentary, “I’m Your Venus,” which premiered in June at the Tribeca Film Festival, Kimberly Reed follows Venus’ biological and ballroom families as they unexpectedly unite to reopen the unsolved case. (Saturday, Aug. 10,  7 p.m.) Reason 4: Because it’s cool to laugh … and to sigh Coming of age gets its close-ups in two films that have been garnering raves on the festival circuit. The first is on Thursday night, with “My Old Ass.” Megan Park’s clever twist on the genre finds Elliott (Maisy Stella) meeting up with her older self, played by the always ace Aubrey Plaza, for some insightful advice. Next up: If the beautiful Belgian drama from 2022, “Close,” broke your hearts in 1,001 pieces with its story of a friendship that might be more between its two young protagonists, “Young Hearts,” the debut by Canadian musician Peaches rocks her 2022, 20th anniversary tour in the award-winning documentary, “Teaches of Peaches.” (Avanti Media Fiction) Belgian director Anthony Schatteman, might glue it back. Lou Goossens’ turn as 14-year-old Ellias, who is figuring out what he’s feeling about new kid Alexander (Marius De Saeger), has been heralded as one of this year’s breakout performances. (Sunday, Aug. 11, noon) Finally, being of age rocks in “Teaches of Peaches,” an award-winning documentary that follows the Canadian electropunk rocker on her 20th-anniversary tour in 2022.  (Friday, Aug. 9, 6:45 p.m.) Reason 5: Because it’s good to be scared. It’s never fair but always sort of fun to ask a programmer about which movie is their favorite of the festival. This year, the spin on that question, directed at CinemaQ’s impresario Keith Garcia, was “Which film would you sneak into, if you had the time?” Of course, he had two. One was the documentary on Jackie Shane. The second won’t come as a shocker to fans of Garcia: “Carnage for Christmas,” by Alice Maio Mackay. “It’s a sweet little 78-minute package,” he said of the late-night offering. “It’s very fun. And I really love watching talent kind of blossom over the years.” This story finds a trans true-crime podcaster’s returning to her hometown years after her transition but just in time for a Santa suit-clad slayer on the loose. “It’s just been great watching her work evolve at such a young age and very quickly,” Garcia noted. The slasher is the 19-year-old’s sixth feature. “Once someone really pays her attention and gives her a budget, I think we’re going to see some really exciting stuff come out. “Carnage” is probably her best movie to date. Hopefully, audiences really take to it.” (Saturday, Aug. 10, 10 p.m.) Lisa Kennedy is a Denver area freelance writer who specializes in film and theater. The documentary every American should watch
“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it,” George Santayana famously said. But often the problem is that people never learn the history to begin with. Here in America, we’re more likely to learn myths about Washington chopping down a cherry tree than, say, the real history of the CIA toppling democratically elected foreign governments. The problems of America mythologizing its past is a precinct issue in 2017 where we are somehow still debating if the Civil War was about slavery (hint: it was!) and political operators cite disgraces like the internment of Japanese Americans as “precedents” for current policy. No matter what your political opinions are, it’s always good to look at our history with a critical eye, which is why The Untold History of the United States is a documentary you should watch on Netflix.
The Untold History of the United States is a 10-part documentary that begins with World War II and ends with the Obama administration (it was released in 2012). It’s more watchable than your average History Channel show, eschewing boring talking heads for Oliver Stone’s narration voiced over historical footage and clips from popular films and TV shows like Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, The Twilight Zone, and First Blood. The documentary focuses on the dark parts of American (and also world) history: the wars, political scandals, civil unrest, and missed opportunities. In short, the parts of American history we tend to gloss over in our politicians like to gloss over. But while Stone certainly has a viewpoint, the documentary is outside the scope of partisan politics that consumes American discourse. Stone has as much ire for Democratic politicians, especially Harry Truman, as he does for Republicans. It’s a documentary that’s sure to annoy almost everyone, which means it’s doing its job.
Stone worked with historian Peter Kuznick, who keeps Stone grounded in the historical facts. There is none of, say, Stone’s wacko conspiracy theorizing from JFK. This doesn’t mean you’ll agree with Stone’s take on everything—I certainly don’t—but the facts being presented are largely accepted at this point. The documentary is less the “untold history” of America and more the history that historians tell but that your average American rarely learns.
If there is an overarching theme of the series, it is that history is never inevitable. At every critical juncture, choices made and mere luck can shape the entire world. For example, one of the only politicians that Stone seems to admire is FDR’s progressive vice president, Henry Wallace, who was kicked off the reelection ticket by shenanigans at the the 1944 Democratic Convention. Wallace was replaced by little-known Harry S. Truman, who would become president after FDR’s death, drop atomic bombs on Japan, and help kick off the Cold War. Would a president Wallace have charted a different course for the post-WWII world and avoided the Cold War entirely? If JFK hadn’t been assassinated, would America have pulled out of the Vietnam War before the escalation and atrocities that occurred under Lyndon Johnson could happen? If Al Gore hadn’t lost the election by a tiny fraction of disputed votes, would America have invaded Afghanistan or Iraq?
Anyone who is living in 2017 and watched the British public narrowly vote for Brexit and Donald Trump eek out an electoral victory after losing the popular vote will be familiar with these “what if?” questions. What The Untold History reminds us is that history is not the inevitable conclusion of Hegelian forces, popular zeitgeist, or even the ruling global elites. It’s something that we are all of us making together, for better or worse. The Untold History can’t answer what if these questions, but it presents you with provocative evidence that will have you thinking about what could have been and what could be in the future.

If I write Lilith she 'd fill a role between halmiton and pink diamond, so she is driven by her own ambition too much that end up destroy everything she has. When she got better it is too late and differetly from PD, she paid the price of her actions. 1) I don't think Adam was so bad if he became an angel, before someone saying nepotism, angels don't choose who go in heaven, divine jugment does. It save Sir pent and Molly,a woman from Mafia, and trust me there are lot motivations why now Italian police is hard on them, they are the strong ring teach criminal way to children. Because we don't know if vaggie is heaven born or no, but if she is still a winner, in her human life was a prostitue,If divine judgement is too severe and conservative she couldn't pass it. So divine judgement isn't so unfair like Charlie and Emily think.
Adam is loyal to heaven,if Lilith wants more to be just mother of humanity, Adam wouldn't help her.
2) the tree of free will fairtale is hell propaganda, if there was not free will how Lilith rebels or Eve deciced to eat the apple? Plus why didn't lilith eat the apple? In myth she could become an immortal demon because she didn't eat,so she is differnt from regolar demon. But she didn't care about free will
What is truely the three? Not only my idea, I see some fanfictions too, the prison of root of evil. I believe Lilith sold body and soul of Eve to root for power. For that she was powerful. So angels didn't overreactive. Lilith and Lucifer freed a lovecrafian evil god on Earth!
3) Hell has attacked Heaven; Sera is terrified by demons, her way to move and act around it look like anxiety disorder, that can be part of ptst. How do you traumatize an heaven born angel? Well, if there was a war in her home, explained a lot. Same adam looks like he hasn't sleept in days , aggressive behavior and food dependence can e connect with ptst. These person are angels, how possible can they have same terrible mental state.
4)the extremination looks part of war reparations, which aren't used only for fixing the state of nation, but preventing the aggresive nation to attack again. Usually you take resources that can be used for war. We are in afterlife only souls are worth.
Another point in my theory, extremination is 10000 years old, but history of humanity(and i mean when we start to have written documation) it is around 30000 plus. So extremination isn't immediatily born with humanity or adam become an angel.
5) lucifer and Lilith love each other, but lilith wearing the pants isn't positive. Couples need to make decision together and compromise, but if Lucifer is just a dreamer, the ambition of his life were too much.
But I think he willing participate to heaven attck but after he ends up in face " What I have done?"
6) Lilith is ambition and greed person but loves her family, so after the failed war, she tried to become best wife and queen possible, and starting to see sinners as her people not just pawns, unfortunately it is too late, she created a system of slavery cannot be remove so easily, royal family is a clown for losing the war, and Eve is starting to take control of her body.
7)Eve can be an amazing dragon of root and villan. Eve got possess by root and she passed all her life trying to keep it in control, hoping to be free aleast in her death. It wasn't. She just reborned as avatar of root, while the couple she considered her friends live sweet life after her life of suffering and afterlife as slave.
She decided to destroy their life, she helped Lilith with her plain of conquest, they make a deal where Eve, prepared her trap; exchaing bodies. So after war Lilith is possessed by Eve, who silently destroy lilith life until, made lucifer found out about root and lilith deal.
We got sequence like burn from halmiton. Eve completely took control of Lilith body and run to heaven, she make a deal with Adam after making him recognizing herself. But lilith isn't inside Eve/root body, she escaped in Rosie, her avatar, a avatar of overlords she created to go unoticed, so she lost everything and she can only blame herself.
It is these way we have a villain who become good but their past actions have conseguence, an innocence person who got betrayed and making everything to free themselves
Imagine how embarrassing it's going to be once season 2 comes out and Lilith is a genuinely good person and not the bad person we all thought of her lmao
To be honest it would be embarrassing but mostly for the show LOL.
Listen, okay, I don't think Lilith is going to be a heartless villain or anything like that
But if she's just like, good and perfect...? That would... Honestly suck, in my opinion?
Like adamsapple delusion and all that aside, if Lilith is just another unsung hero who was wronged by Heaven and everybody else and whatnot, that would be... Disappointing to be frank. I don't think she should just be a bitch, but she definitely should have some complexity to her motivations and morals. I don't buy that her and Lucifer just had the happiest of relationships and poof, she just disappeared, but it's only because oh she was just a victim woe is her. No no, that woman fucked up somewhere I'm SURE of it.

Found a Missing Tape
“Okay, okay! Are you ready for the big adventure Fred?” he looked at his friend with excitement, his body jittered with joy, as he was like bouncing off the walls.
“Yes! Now can we need to hurry up Ben, I don’t want it to be too late” his friend rolled his eyes as he got a cam recorder in his hand.
Both guys were excited to film their first YouTube video. It was 2009 and Youtube only started to become popular They packed their rucksaks with food, extra batteries , torches, lights that’s attached to the recorder and tripods to take epic pictures. Even tho it was middle of Winter in January, they were still rearing to go. For a while they had their own Facebook page to take abandoned photos of builds, the eerie lifeless of buildings, gave it a creepy surprise. Like it was from a zombie movie. Both guys were best friends since highschool and they do everything together. Fred was tall and skinny, at least 6.2ft, his hair was brown but curly and he hardly brushed it, everyone called him ‘bush’ but since leaving school he like his own name, he had a skater style along with Ben. Ben was Chinese but he spoke English fluently and could only say a few Chinese words to pick up women, even tho it never worked. Ben was 5.8ft, an average looking guy, but love to wear black, even tho had the skater heart. Brown hair, brown eyes, with a tan too match, compared to Fred, he was a pastey white boy. They were still best friends without a doubt.
“Okay I’m all set” as they got into Ben’s car, stopped by the gas station before they hit to their destination. “Heyy Fred, Do you think it’s still abandoned? I’ve heard stories about that place man? I don’t think we should go?”
Fred ran back and jumped into the car, shouting out through the window “dude! It’s going to be awesome! We are going to take wicked sick videos and pictures. And anyways, our friends been there before you know, that big party they had but we were sick. It should be okay”. Ben just nodded as he finishing up the tank and paying it on his card. They drove into the distance, early hours in the morning.
Hours went by, soon as they came across the building, they parked up and hiked to the place where they were going to film. Fred and Ben were infront of the camera “heyy guys! It’s me Fred and Ben! Coming to you, to this abaoned location. Now this place is so old and so creepy, we had to see it! It’s an asylum but was going turn into a hotel. But now abandoned! Ain’t that cool!”
Ben smiled and using hand gestures “dude it’s going to be fucking cool! So I looked into the buildings history! We are in Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in West Virginia. This place was said to be haunted! Cool right! Apparently they tested on their own patients and did lobotomies, where the doctors used an ice pick and went through your brain, from your eye. Dude that’s creepy”
Fred interrupted “and and and, local people are still saying, the patients who died here along with doctors and nurses, are still here. Spooookkyy!”
Bed interrupted “so we are here! Going inside and look around! Ain’t that cool dude?”
“So cool” replied Fred, with extreme anticipation.
Ben was holding the camera will Fred was looking around, both followed into the dark rooms and the light lead them the way. Each find of a wheelchair, an operation table was well documented. The paint was peeling off and the green mould was growing in the corners of some of the rooms. Each of them had this sadness that they couldn’t wait to be here. Fred insisted Ben to hold the camera while Ben was doing the entertaining and giving out more history stories.
“So, this room I bet is where they did the lobotomies...” then suddenly they both got interrupted by a sound near by. They both went quiet and tip toed to the noise.
11 years later.
“Omg I cannot believe you found this place” Bailey flirtatiously teasing her boyfriend John, their friend Ivan couldn’t wait to leave. Bailey a typical girl with died red hair, black shorts with a grey tank top and John wearing his jeans with a graphic tee that had on ‘Rick and Morty’. Ivan was wearing something similar to John since they were friends. All three in college and a few YouTubers visited the asylum too; then all went to this Building in Virginia because they all went to college near by. They all got bored during summer break and before they head back home, they wanted to do some exploring. Searching on the web, Bailey wanted to go to an Asylum to cross off her bucket list.
After a few minutes of guessing on google maps, they finally found it. All derelict and no one around, the only sounds are the birds cheeping in the distance. It felt peaceful, they tried to go inside the asylum. The doors were falling off and the black mould growing up the walls in the hallway. As they approached a dead end since the building was falling apart, they decided to head home. As they were walking, Bailey shouted “wait a minute guys, I think I see a cam recorder” John grabbed Ivan and they both followed Bailey. The room was an old office and nothing haven’t been touched for decades. The papers were still there along with documation of the patients that stayed. John grabbed them and Ivan followed, he went into the filing cabinets and took as much information as they could. Bailey put the cam recorder in her bag and all of them headed to the car.
Driving back to the college, she said “most of this tape is fried and slightly damp. Do you think Paris can take a look for us?”
Ivan replied as he was driving on the highway “I don’t see why not. What do you think is in there?”
Bailey handed over the cam recorder to John “whatever is inside, it’s been there along time. Strange that something like this is in there”
They all headed to Paris, who was the head at the media department. For a teacher, she had piercings on her lips and ears, tattoos all over her body. For a 42 year old, she looked 10 years younger. “Wow I haven’t seen something like this in 11 years! Back then, this was state of the art! Still working just the tape is a bit damp. Maybe tomorrow it will be finished. Where did you guys find it?”
Bailey shrugged and was nervous to talk “we found it at the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum”
“You fucking what! That place is bad news! How did you even go there?” Screamed Paris as she folded her arms looking at John and Ivan. They both shrugged and looked down with disappointment.
“Do you know what... fine I will do it. Only because I’m curious myself” Paris held the cam recorder and took out the tape which was slightly damaged. The three of them walked out and closed the door behind them.
3am the next morning
*Ring, ring ring* “ugh... hey babe, can you get that” muttered John as he woke up Bailey. She muttered, picked up the phone from the bed night stand “yeahh, this is John’s phone. What the fuck do you want at this... yeahh. Wait now?! .... Do I have... okay... yes we getting dressed.... fine I will get Ivan too.... yes we will be there.... okay, bye” she poked John till he got up. She put on a black dress with her blue sparkley converse on. “John get up” as she took the covers off him “we need to get up now. Get ivan, he needs to come too”
John still in his pjs, he went next door to his dorm and got Ivan. Ivan was in his sweat pants and no top on, luckily he worked out and had a six pack to show off. All half asleep expect for Bailey, she was anxious and her nerves were running high. They both got into Paris’s office and she had beer cans all over her desk; including empty beer cans in the trash that was piling over ready to burst at any moment. Her room was dark and musky, the blinds drawn as you can see the sunrise appearing through at any moment. She got spair chairs from another class room and the three of them sat down, huddled over the computer. “Okay this is fucking creepy and I’ve already called the cops, they are coming in the morning. But you need to see this” as she opened up another beer can, Ivan felt uncomfortable as her breath stank of stale beer. She pressed play as she saw two guys in the video.
Fred and Ben were having a blast, recording everything they could find, even the old theatre. Suddenly they both screamed as the door flew open and a bird flew past them. The guys were laughing their heads off. A few more minutes in, they saw something in the hallway, they ran after it “omg do you think someone else is here” Fred panting to Ben.
“Well whatever it is, it’s fucking cool” then they both stopped. A gastly apparition was following them back, they started to scream. Ben dropped the camera and Paris, John, Ivan and Bailey saw a black face starring into the camera with red eyes. Then black. Suddenly the cam recorder was switched on, Ivan, Paris, John and Bailey all held each other close tight, as they saw something carrying the camera. The background noise was heavy breathing, walking around the asylum as if nothing happened.
Paris pressed stop “that was was fucking freaky”
John was built well and had a deep voice, but it cracked “what the fuck”.
“What was even is that?” Bailey looked over at Ivan as he was in a fetal position, rocking back and forth.
“It doesn’t stop there. 4 years ago when the building was going to change into a hotel like everyone had been promised for fucking years. The builders found the mummified remains of the boys in the basement. It was all over the news, apparently they were missing for years!”
“Omg I remember that... but how did they die?” John asked as he was biting his fingers.
“No one knows, but maybe this video will help” as Paris brought up the screen again with the black face starring at them on the computer screen.

Words: 2,416
Logan fidgets listlessly with his pen, taking it apart and putting it back together, apart and together, apart and together, apart and together and apart. His mind flirts with the idea of throwing the whole bundle across the room and heaving an agonized scream. Probably not the best idea, especially when the director is due to show up any minute. Well, due to show up any ten minutes ago, more like. Logan wrestles with his mind not to jump to the worst possible conclusions— you’re getting demoted you’re getting fired he hates you he lied about liking your presentation he’ll want a follow-up in a time frame that will guarantee failure and you’ll fade into mediocrity and obscurity as a lowly intern just like everyone always said you would.
He is not terribly successful at fending off the worst possible conclusions, if you couldn’t tell.
In the same moment as he screws the grippy back onto the pen for perhaps the thousandth time, the door bangs open. Logan immediately straightens and rolls his shoulders back, praying that the director was looking down at something and didn’t notice Logan being so lazy as to not be at ramrod attention at all times.
“Logan.”
“Hello, Direc—er, Robin. What did you need to see me for?”
Director Gazebo stalks past him, flipping through a thick binder overflowing with document covered in highlights and black-out redactions and annotations. “I’m fine, thanks for asking. How are you?”
“Oh! Oh, sorry, I, um—I’m good—uh, well, I mean. I’m well. You thank for asking.”
Sighing heavily, the director shoots him a wary look and continues toward the window, where he pulls down at the blinds to peer at the storm raging outside. Lightning slashes in an angry arc across the sky. “I assume you don’t know why you’re here, then.”
“I—no, I don’t, sir. Sorry.”
The director leaves the window and turns around, massaging his temples with his thumb and middle finger. “Logan, you’ve done some impressive work in your time here.”
“Thank you, sir, I—”
“Did not let me finish. You’ve done some impressive work, but surely even you must understand that there can always be room for improvement.” Logan’s heart leaps into his throat as he feels his mind ripped away from the present and thrown back into high school, where the threat of a bad grade—and the accompanying disciplinary consequences—lurked around every corner. “What manner of ultimate goal or achievement did you have in mind upon becoming a part of this organization?”
“Well, sir, to go to space, I guess.”
“You guess?”
“To go to space, sir. I want to go to space, and I want to use whatever extraterrestrial knowledge there is to advance what humanity is capable of. Er, that of which humanity is capable.”
The director is at the table in an instant, slamming the binder down hard on the solid surface. It’s achingly loud, and Logan very nearly drops his pen in surprise. He tucks it behind his ear, just to be safe.
“See, you say that, and it’s the answer each of your colleagues has said you’ve given them, and I’m sure you do believe that you want to advance the world and take risks and do the right thing in the name of research and exploration, but that is simply not reflected in the work you’ve done.” The director pulls out a dog-eared page, pointing with a thick finger to a chunk of text highlighted in pink. Logan spots several appearances of his name in the area. “Ever since you first earned an internship here, you’ve been doing the same work. It’s always been of objectively high quality, always pleasantly impressive, but never surprising, never ambitious. Very by-the-book, which is all fine and well, but I didn’t allow Katie-Lee to promote you simply so you could continue at your same level of repetitive mediocrity.
“You got your promotion based on the hope that it would inspire you to take more risks with your work. Look at your colleague Roman, for example.” The director slides out another sheet, this one generously marked up in yellow and orange and blue. “See how much ground his work covers? He looks into topics most people have never considered, explores connections few have ever thought of. Your promotion came earlier based on seniority, but you and Roman have both been in our sights for a good while with regards to moving you up the ranks. You aren’t special simply for doing your job. You need to go above and beyond if you want to achieve the dream you claim you have, despite all evidence pointing to the contrary.”
Logan blinks quickly, wondering if—or terrified that—his eyes are as red as they feel. “With all due respect, sir, I—”
“If any of that respect is here as you say, you would do well not to knee-jerk reject and contradict the facts I have been so considerate as to lay out for you. You’ve seen your numbers, you’ve done the work, you’re ready in all technical and legal respects to continue working toward your ultimate goals, but you just don’t have the passion for it. You don’t have the fire behind your eyes, not like Roman does. Roman is always moving, always talking to his colleagues, always broadening his horizons and learning as much as he can from the world around him while you isolate yourself and refuse to absorb any information that doesn’t come from a block of text in a legal document.
“If, by some miracle, you find that fire, that passion, that deep and true desire that you so stubbornly insist you have? And you really apply yourself to your work, not that safe middle path you’ve been taking, you prove that you really want this as much as you say you do, maybe we can see about getting you higher up the ladder. But that presentation you gave me? By all accounts a good presentation, but a predictable one. Nothing exciting, nothing unexpected, nothing a monkey at a typewriter couldn’t’ve spat out eventually.
“Work on obtaining the attitude and tenacity you currently lack, and I will do everything in my power to get you where you want to go. I do expect you’ll disappoint me, though I hope you prove me wrong.” The director strides over to the window and tugs at the blinds again, peering out at the ocean of tears falling from the clouds. Lightning strikes, highlighting a cold emptiness in the director’s face that Logan hadn’t noticed before. Maybe that he didn’t want to notice before. “I doubt you will.”
Logan swallows tightly and nods, belatedly realizing the director can’t exactly hear a gesture. “Yes, sir, I will do everything in my—”
“It was not a question.” The director lets the blinds fall one final time and takes a few measured steps toward Logan. It’s stunning, really, how imposing the man can seem at barely an inch taller than Logan. Logan isn’t terribly tall to begin with, but still. “You will likely fail, at which point nothing will change, and you will have proven me correct. Is that all?” Logan stays silent. “Then I think we’re done here.”
The director takes his leave, the door slamming shut behind him with a bang. Logan stares hard at the ground and tries not to cry. He suddenly feels very, very small. Small like a child, told off for sticking his hand in the cookie jar. Small like a new employee on strict probation, prophesied to fail before he’s begun. Small like the insignificant nothing he is, with all the worlds and stars and galaxies and universes rippling out and away from him, and he’s only the smallest speck, not worth the dust stuck to the underside of a cockroach.
It’s not until Logan feels a hand on his shoulder that he blinks and jolts back into himself. A glance at his lap reveals his fingers making quick work of the pen, which is in more pieces than Logan thought possible. Or maybe he just broke the pen.
“Sorry, we kind of need this meeting room,” says a familiar voice. Gentle, hesitant, worried. Logan turns, his vision hazy—he doesn’t remember removing his glasses—and registers something resembling Joy’s silhouette. She says something else, her tone dipped in concern, but whatever it is shoots past Logan’s ears and filters through the walls, joining the weak spurts of dwindling rain outside and dousing the soil below with sympathy.
Somehow, Logan finds his feet moving of their own accord, carrying him past Joy and out the door and to the stairwell, the entrance to which might as well be solid cement. He can’t get his mind to cooperate with the idea of that thing opening up to throw him down a few stories and deposit him at the feet of someone who’s always been better than him, more passionate than him, more dedicated than him, more, well, more than him.
“Oh, hey, let me get that for you!” someone says, squeezing past him to pull open the door. Logan blinks, and he’s pretty sure he nods his thanks to them as the door slips shut. It’s so much quieter than when the director slammed the door shut behind him.
He blinks again, and he’s at his desk. He doesn’t remember opening the door to this floor, much less all the flights to get down here. His legs don’t seem to be bruised, so he probably just walked himself the whole way and didn’t tumble down in a heap, but he can’t say for sure.
He blinks again, and he’s juggling almost all of his belongings in two unsteady arms. All that’s left is his coffee mug of the day, which he reaches for with an outstretched pinky. In a flash, the pen falls from behind his ear—he doesn’t remember putting it back together, much less tucking it away—and as he instinctively reaches to catch it, he knocks the mug to the tiled floor.
It shatters.
Something in Logan splinters as he goes perfectly still, watching the rattling debris.
There’s a good chance Roman’s head pops up in its usual spot over the partition, since Logan can’t really work out any other explanation for why he can suddenly hear his voice. “Whoa, hey, are you okay, man? Here, let me—”
Roman is always broadening his horizons while you isolate yourself and refuse to absorb any information that doesn’t come from a block of text in a legal document. “I got it.” Logan scrapes together the shards with a piece of scrap paper he fumbles from his desk, folding them up and tucking them into a ziploc bag that lives in the front pocket of his main binder—usually for notecards, but this works, too. Well, it mostly works. As he seals up the bag, he loses his grip on everything else, and all the papers gathered in his arms flutter to the ground, out of order and slipping under his desk.
The shape broadcasting Roman’s voice drops to its knees and tries to help pile together some of the pages. Logan maintains a blank expression and gathers the rest on his own, slamming them onto the desk in the only show of emotion he trusts himself to have right now. The bang echoes in his ears.
Roman’s voice comes back, and Logan wonders why it’s so hard to reconcile this silhouette with the voice of the person who is (and apparently always has been) better than him, more ambitious than him, living the life that was supposed to be his , rather than the social butterfly intern one desk over. “Look, if this is about what Patton said the other night, I’m sure he didn’t mean to—”
“It’s not about that.” The coldness in Logan’s voice sends a lance of ice through his veins and strikes his core. He yanks the stack of papers from his desk and rips the remaining pages from Roman’s hands, clutching them to his chest as he stalks toward the door. He ignores how quickly the other people on this floor pretend to be busy doing absolutely anything else as he thunders past, though their stares burn like suns into his back once they’re out of his line of sight.
Logan does not care.
Logan does not have it in him to care.
“Is this about that meeting with Gazebo?” Roman tries, tumbling over his feet to keep pace with Logan. “I thought he said he liked—”
“Yeah, well, he did. And now he doesn’t.”
Logan lets the door slam shut behind him.
And he gets in his car. And he drives. And he drives and drives and drives, and he keeps on driving until all the storms raging in his mind come to a head, a breaking point that guarantees a maelstrom of chaos and hellfire if he doesn’t let it out.
He yanks the steering wheel to the right, pulling off the unfrequented road that he doesn’t remember turning onto. Onto which he doesn’t remember turning. Whatever. It doesn’t matter, anyway.
And he cuts the engine and he gets out and he slams the door shut and he balls up the bag of the shattered pieces of his mug in his fist and he chucks them far into the dead grass stretching away from the road and he screams. And he screams. And he screams and he screams and he screams, his head tilted to the uncaring heavens and his mouth hanging open like a starving beggar in a barren wasteland and his body collapsing to the ground and his knees scraping over the gravel. And still he screams, until no sound dares to even try escaping his throat, save for a hollow whisper, an echo of anguish and rage and despair and resignation.
And he gets back in the car.
And he drives home in silence.
And when he walks in the front door, he knows how ragged he must look, and he knows Virgil can see it. And he knows he’s late, too late for words. And he opens his mouth to explain himself, and Virgil shakes his head. And Logan lifts his arms, desperate for something solid to tether him to reality, desperate for reassurance, desperate for Virgil, and Virgil turns away. And Logan sits on the couch as the bedroom door softly clicks shut.
Logan does not sleep that night.

DESCRIPTION BOOK : As any reader of murder mysteries can tell you, poison is one of the most enduring?and popular?weapons of choice for a scheming murderer. It can be slipped into a drink, smeared onto the tip of an arrow or the handle of a door, even filtered through the air we breathe. But how exactly do these poisons work to break our bodies down, and what can we learn from the damage they inflict? In a fascinating blend of popular science, medical history, and true crime, Dr. Neil Bradbury explores this most morbidly captivating method of murder from a cellular level. Alongside real-life accounts of murderers and their crimes?some notorious, some forgotten, some still unsolved?are the equally compelling stories of the poisons involved: eleven molecules of death that work their way through the human body and, paradoxically, illuminate the way in which our bodies function. Drawn from historical records and current news headlines, A Taste for Poison weaves together the tales of spurned lovers, shady
