Seeing this was an absolutely upsetting yet not shocking discovery. This might be long, so please don't mind me if you don't wish to read it. I just thought it might be best for my own sake to finally get things off my chest, given I am one of the friends they had vaguely 'tweeted' (if I can call that on Tumblr) about regarding 14dwy in their vent account.

I don't encourage bullying, I don't encourage harassment--I don't want my feelings and thoughts to be weaponized.

I didn’t think I would have a chance to speak on this ever. I didn’t for the longest of times, for many reasons. It was for the sake of my friends’ comfort/protection, it was due to the fear of being targeted again, and it was due to the fact that I felt like I was being shoved into a corner with no support besides the friends who were also directly affected by this. 

But in all honesty, it was never a one-time thing. My friends and I have been harassed, stalked, and bullied for a whole year since the fallout with a former friend of ours and co— by said former friend and co. 

For context and starters— Hi!! I’m Rosie, a friend of Sai’s, former friend of Lilith, and have been a moderator in 14dwy for about two/three years, give or take? A year ago, we had confronted a former friend (whom I will keep anonymous) about a behavior that had already been brought up a year prior to the incident. The situation had blown out of proportion, and even when we had apologized the moment it was addressed in private, it was taken to the public. It became a whole mess that I had hoped would die down, but later on–they (them and co) had since been sending ominous messages and spreading rumors about my friends, me, and our server through multiple other creators' servers. 

We still get reports from other members from our server and other servers about this situation, where this group has been painting such a disturbing picture about us that we weren’t aware of until we saw screenshots ourselves. Information that had been twisted and turned into something bigger than it should’ve been. 

We’ve become ostracized from the community. I’ve gotten banned and discouraged from joining other creators’ servers because of the rumors and accusations, by people I didn’t even know—and my friends and I have been receiving harassment not just on our public accounts, but behind our backs by people in private dms/servers/and public servers, both unfamiliar and whom we thought were friends. 

Why I’m bringing this up is vital to why I'm responding at all. Lilith was one of the main people who had been harassing us, encouraging such behavior. And this post only confirms my suspicions. Im not talking for all my friends, they’re allowed to respond how they choose, as do I. 

And to clarify, I'm not here to clear my name or to try and make this response in hopes that sharing my experience will right all the wrongs that have been done to me—but I refuse to keep silent after everything we’ve been through in just a year. 

Lilith and I used to be good friends when I had started getting into the yandere vn community, when I had started a blog called Hot Killer Babes, Lilith was someone who supported me. That, I will always truly be grateful for, and still am. Our friendship, however, started to distance when we were in a private server, made 2 years ago, with a few of our other friends (some of whom I am still friends with, a few whom I had cut off contact with). Sai was one of these seven members.

Lilith, one day, had pinged us all, stating that one of us had leaked private information about them to another creator (whom I will also keep anonymous), to which we were all confused. We all stated it was none of us, but Lilith still accused us all with their vague suspicions. They were adamant it was one of us because there had supposedly been screenshots of our specific conversations on our server sent to that creator. When asked for the ss, Lilith denied. 

However, we stated again, it was none of us and expressed our sympathy to them—because no one deserved to be doxxed. Then, after a few months of little activity in the server, Lilith had made a public post— claiming it was a former member of the yandere vn community who had done it. 

This confused me as the information Lilith had given us prior was that there were screenshots coming from our server specifically, which didn’t match up with the ‘culprit’, considering said member was never in our server. It was then proven false, and by the time Lilith had apologized, their fans had already driven the person out of the community. 

This person was loved by many for their whimsical asks and abundance of support to many creators, big and small— and even after two years, I still think about them and how they’re doing. 

But I digress. I overlooked this situation as I was still pretty brand new to the whole community— and from what I was told before, was that Lilith was a creator many would target for many reasons. I would always side with Lilith, as I had considered them my friend. I’d receive asks in my inbox by anons trying to bash Lilith for small things, and I would always defend them. 

However, I started to notice a concerning pattern that had me believing Lilith less and less after the accusation they had thrown towards me and our friends at the time. While I do not want to doubt any bullying or harrassment anyone goes through, now I had come to realize, at least some of it had been manufactured. Especially with the situation last year, where we were accused of ableism and harassment— for telling a member who was also my closest friend since I was 16, that they had made many members feel uncomfortable and less welcome. 

When that had happened— Lilith’s friends had made posts about it, some whom I didn’t even know about until it happened. And soon enough, hate comments spewed into their inboxes. Other creators had then also spoken about it, shaming Sai and our group for our moderation and how ‘we encouraged such vile behavior’. We had made our own responses, and that would be laid to rest. 

But it didn’t rest. Almost every other month, we’d always get reports that Lilith and Co had done something to hurt our images, befriending any new uprising creator that made it big and would tell people to not play 14dwy before spilling rumors that just seem so out of pocket. One comment that stuck with me was how I apparently “harassed [anonymous former friend] while she was grieving”. 

??? Right. 

We’ve had people joining our server acting as spies or joining just to watch us and judge, like we were animals in glass cages for them to point at the moment we did something relatively wrong. 

I had also caught Lilith lurking on my accounts a few times after the whole incident, accidentally liking my posts just to remove them instantly. It had scared me to the point that I had left all my blogs inactive. Not to mention the harassment my friends have received from people who have interacted with Lilith and co. Ominous anon asks, hinting towards the incidents and accusing them of being 'fake' and 'attention seeking' despite my friend not posting at all and only reblogging for a few months on their break. 

I’m unsure if I should share screenshots, some lost in the trash while I tried to clear what I thought was just heavy weight, some freshly taken or redownloaded to assure me I’m not just imagining it all. But I respect people’s privacy and the right to live peacefully, even if the other party has clearly not been doing so. It’s scary seeing this post, now given confirmation that Lilith had been lurking on our every move, but now also creating various side blogs just to speak poorly about my friends AND the people within the server and 14dwy community.

You have every right to not believe me, every right to say I'm victimizing myself or am taking advantage of this situation just to try and hurt Lilith. 

But I'm just tired. Tired of having to look over my shoulder, tired of having people start attacking newer staff members for associating with us, of living in fear that some members of our server are some kind of double agent. It’s exhausting, it truly is— so I’m unsure how you, Lilith, can still be so full of hate while everyone else (whether friends with me OR you) is trying to live on with their lives. You have cultivated a blanket of false comfort for this community, someone many looked up to. While I don’t think any of your personal values are disingenuous, your actions prove that good values don't always mean good character. I hope you’re able to let go of whatever it is that causes you to hate so deeply. For full disclaimer: I don’t know who the company (co.) entails at this point. It’s been a whole year, so the CO. I mention can very much be more or less the same as it was a year ago. And I know that once I post this, my words will likely be ripped apart and mocked. Maybe they don’t seem genuine enough without screenshots, maybe they seem so out of pocket–that it’s just hard to believe that someone can do all that. But if I can endure all the struggles you had put my friends and I through for a year, I can take a few hours out of my day to finally speak up. This was definitely a mess, and half of what I wrote likely has a bunch of grammar mistakes! But I didn’t want to curate it into some professional response, because this isn’t me being professional. This is me, as Rosie, who was a close friend of yours. Who trusted you with deep secrets and looked up to you as a new member of the community at the time.

I didn't originally intend to publish this, but after seeing one specific post made by galacticglados, I felt it was time to speak out.

queenlilithprime / restartheartvn is a horrible person and you should not support them.

I have documented and provided screenshots of every post linked here. This means that even if Lilith deletes something, I will still have evidence. I have also screen recorded their entire vent blog, racism blog, and some of the other blogs they've engaged with for future reference. So there will be no excuse for faking screenshots if the original source can no longer be found. For even more security it might be good to reblog posts you find important to preserve them as well.

First, proof "princessofhollowness" is their venting side blog.

Here is Lilith's post talking about creating a new blog to vent on.

Most of the reblogged posts on princessofhollowness have been liked by their main blog, queenlilithprime. This proves it's a side blog since you can only like posts from your main blog. Similar to that, Lilith interacts with the same group of friends on their vent blog.

Below are screenshots of reblogged posts that have been liked by Lilith's main blog. You can find so much more than the ones I listed by visiting princessofhollowness and looking through each individual post yourself. (one two three four)

According to former friends of Lilith, many of the personal experiences shared on their vent blog can be backed up by personal events shared on their discord and main blog. Out of respect for their privacy, since these posts are personal, I will not share screenshots. But you can still find them on their vent blog.

With that out of the way I want you to remember that whenever you see "princessofhollowness" in any of the screenshots, it's one of Lilith's side blogs.

Proof "galacticglados" is another side blog.

Another thing I need to establish is that "galacticglados" is another side blog created by Lilith, as I will be referencing it periodically.

I want to highlight that Lilith's typing style and formatting are similar to those used on their second and third side blogs.

Going a step further, Lilith has previously interacted with the creators of the blog "creatingblackcharacters" on their main account and is familiar with the owners. This will be relevant later. (one two)

Furthermore, all the posts found on galacticglados align with the stalkerish intentions directed toward the creator of the blog "14dayswithyou," which I will elaborate on later.

They showed ignorance as a developer and made homophobia accusations towards the developers of Love & Deepspace.

Lilith has labeled the developers of L&DS (Papergames and subsequently Infold Games) and its fandom as homophobic and shitty without conducting any research or providing evidence of their claims. They made most of these claims on their developer accounts, which has many impressionable followers. (link)

If they did their due diligence as a developer with a published game of their own, they would know that China has significant censorship issues, especially regarding LGBT+ relationships and queer men. Games will be blacklisted and unplayable in China if they don't meet specific conditions. It is absurd to condemn an entire studio and call them homophobic simply for adhering to the laws of their country and not allowing BL content to jeopardize everything they have built.

Additionally, it's well known that L&DS is an otome game designed primarily for women. Lilith expects a massive company to violate Chinese laws by allowing BL content, which would then undermine the intent of the game and take away from a product created for women. If L&DS were a BL game instead, it would not be appropriate to make the main character a woman to be more inclusive.

They have spoken poorly about the developer of @you-and-him behind their back.

UnknownHermit is the creator of YOU and HIM and was originally part of Florescent Red Studios, a developer studio co-owned by Lilith and @stnaf-vn. I don't have much to say except that discussing a friend's or employee's issues behind their back in a public setting is a shady practice for a developer. (link)

The second screenshot is proof that YOU and HIM had ties to Florescent Red Studios. The context of the tweet is unrelated.

They have shown stalkerish behavior regarding @14dayswithyou.

Lilith has an obsession with digging up old posts made by 14dayswithyou and scrutinizing them for any flaws. Some of 14dayswithyou's posts date back several days to over a year, yet Lilith continues to stalk their socials daily and scroll through hundreds of posts just to find any kind of infraction they can complain about. I recommend looking at princessofhollowness and any other blogs they've interacted with to understand what I'm talking about. (one two three four)

They are obsessed with the downfall of 14dayswithyou to the point where they weaponized and used @creatingblackcharacters to reach their goal.

Now that I've provided evidence that princessofhollowness belongs to Lilith and highlighted their stalker-like behavior towards 14dayswithyou, it gives more context to the posts found on galacticglados.

As I mentioned above, Lilith actively criticizes everything the creator of 14dayswithyou does on princessofhollowness and has even commented on their inability to draw Black people accurately, despite two of the characters not actually being Black. It's no coincidence that they raised the same issue on galacticglados and attempted to launch a smear campaign to avoid facing backlash on their main blog. (one two three four)

Lilith has complained about the 14dayswithyou server on princessofhollowness and again on galacticglados, which is even more proof they run both accounts. They have also interacted with this post a few hours prior to posting something related on galacticglados, which is interesting. (link link)

They're a racist who assumes all dark-skinned people are Black.

Two characters mentioned in this post were mistakenly assumed to be Black despite their ethnicities never having been officially confirmed anywhere. Although they have non-Black features, such as their eye color and hair texture, Lilith still claimed they were 100% Black and submitted this information to the creatingblackcharacters blog with harmful intent.

A friend sent me a screenshot of the creator confirming that the characters are actually intended to be South Asian. So there is no excuse for Lilith trying to perpetuate racial stereotypes about Black people.

They're ableist and made a horrible joke about cancer.

Lilith jokingly remarked that people who are racist should get skin cancer. They later apologized for this comment, but in the big year of 2025, making such a joke is simply not acceptable. Ironically, while Lilith spoke about immediately calling out racism in their original post, they lacked the courage to actually do so on their main blog and instead addressed it on galacticglados. They're a virtue signaller who tries to get in the good graces of mainstream accounts despite being a hypocrite.

Lilith supported proshipping after reblogging a statement from @fantasia-kitt, despite stating "no proshipping" on their blog and not apologizing for banning my friend on discord for liking similar proshipper content found in fantasia-kitt's game, The Kid At The Back. (one two)

Lilith only interacts with developers who are popular or have a large following, and never smaller developers. This is seen with fantasia-kitt above as well as @sourmiiiilk. (link)

As said earlier, they also publicly shared a post that demanded better Black representation and justice for characters that were actually dark-skinned Asians.

Let's go somewhere warm for the winter 

The sun beams amber over the dulcet ripples. Your room looks down onto the hotel pool in the setting evening, a calming hue soothing your nerves. You haven't felt this close to peaceful in month. No... has it already been a year? 

"So, honey, what do you think about trying the restaurant? I was just looking over the menu. I've never tried mussels," your mother's voice cuts through the din. Another comfort you've longed for. 

"Sure, whatever you want," you face her and sigh.  

It's more than getting away from work and your tiny apartment and the city. It's that foreign feeling. Something you almost forgot. You feel safe. 

"You alright?" She asks with concern. 

"I'm great, mom," you assure her. "Thanks for bringing me." 

"Didn't know what else to do with all that money. You wouldn't believe it, Sheila was so jealous that I won the jackpot at bingo. I would've asked her if she hadn't been such a crabby ass about it." 

"Oh, I'm sorry." 

"Ah, she always was a pain," she shrugs. "Besides, I miss my baby girl. You're always so busy with work." 

"I know, mom, I'm sorry." 

You look down guiltily. You can't tell her that it's more an excuse these days than the truth. You are busy but not with your job. You're hiding. You don't have to here. It's nice and distant and warm. You can't remember a winter without snow. It's so strange to be hot in December. 

"I'll just change into something... not this," you look down at the sweats you wore on the plane. 

"Wonderful," you mom gives a small clap but concern lingers in the lines of her forehead, "we can wait until tomorrow if you're jetlagged." 

"I'm not. Promise. I want to," you assure her. 

You grab your bag and flip the lid open. You take out some capris and a flora shirt. You go into the bathroom as she searches her purse. You want to make the best of it. It's not often you have this luxury; not only the time off, but the all-inclusive resort. It's amazing.  

And it might be the only escape you get for a while. Or ever. 

You come out as your mom spritzes herself with body spray. She smiles and grabs her wallet, "dinner's on me." 

"Mom," you chide. 

"No, you don't even try. This is my present to you, honey. I want you to enjoy," she goes to the door and looks back at you. "What happened to my little girl and her smiles?" 

Her question pierces your heart. You know but it would break her heart to say it. You force a smile. 

"I'm just grown up and tired," you chuckle dryly. "Come on. I saw something about pineapple sangria." 

"That's my girl," she trills and holds the door for you. 

The restaurant is just as you expect. Tropical in the tourist sort of way. Fake palm trees, colourful glasses, twisty straws with fruit slid onto them. You order a sangria as your mother puts her glasses on and squints at the menu. 

The server brings your drinks and gives you time to peruse the selection. You settle on the carribean prawn cocktail as your mother stirs her spicy margarita. She sits back and looks around. It's good to see her happy too. 

"This is so nice," she preens. "You should come to bingo with me when we get back. If we both win, we could stay twice as long next time." 

She cackles and you laugh too. Genuinely, this time. That weight on your shoulder lessens bit by bit. You slurp down some sangria and let the alcohol sink in. You need this. You need to just forget. To let go. 

You're far from home. No one even knows you're here. Even work thinks you're just puttering around at your apartment, and your friends, the few who still talk to you, are too absorbed in their own holidays. 

You put in your orders and get another round. Your refills come with the food as your mother tells you about Maureen who steals her fliers. You laugh as you remember the rivalry she used to have with the other soccer moms. You were never very good at the sport though. 

"How's your food?" She asks as you pick away at the prawns. 

"Very good. I could eat a whole other platter but I won't." 

"It's a holiday, go on," she chirps. 

"No, no, really. My mind says yes but my stomach would say no way," you shake your head. 

"Hm, we'll need to get a dessert menu then," she grins and looks around for the server. 

He comes and clears your plates. Your mother requests the dessert list and he flits off to his task. He returns with more than the menu. He has another round of drinks in hand. 

"Oh, we didn't--" your mother begins. 

"The gentleman at the bar sent them over." The server puts down the drinks. 

You stiffen as you stare at the pineapple ring hooked over the brim. Your mother cranes to see whoever it is and you shrink down. You're paranoid. Not here. He couldn't be. 

"And the desserts," the server taps the menu before he hands it over. "I recommend the key lime cheesecake or the coconut cream trifle." 

"Oh, thank you." Your mother fawns, "honey, cheers." 

Your mother raises her glass in a gesture towards the bar. You hold your breath and lift your glass, mirroring her. You glance at the bar and nearly drop the drink. You quickly lower your hand and turn to her. She doesn't see your panic. 

"Um, you know what," you set the glass down gingerly as the waiter retreats. "I'm going to find the bathroom." 

You get up and keep your eyes ahead of you. You resist the urge to peek at the bar again. You don’t need another look. You know it’s him, you just can’t fathom how he found you. 

You enter the bathroom and quicky hide in a stall. You sit without intent. You need to think. What do you do? What can you do? You didn’t tell a soul. You wouldn’t even text your mom the details, just in case. Your stomach clenches until you think you might vomit. 

Then another thought brings you to your feet. Your mom. Shit. 

You get up and hurry back out. As you come into the dining room, your eyes move instinctively to the bar. He’s not there. With dread, you look to the table. Your mom’s alone. Thank god. Yet, you know better than to believe he’s gone. 

You join her and reach for the sangria without a thought. You nearly choke on the mouthful as you recall where it came from. You force it down and place the drink on the table. 

“That stranger sure was kind, treating us to a round,” she smiles. “Been a long time since a handsome man bought me a drink.” 

You try to smile but you’re so tense, you can hardly breathe. “So, uh,” you swallow to restrain the tremble in your voice. “What do you want for dessert? The banana pudding sounds good.” 

You look down at the menu, hoping she can’t see the truth. She’s always been smart. She always catches you out. Maybe the drinks are enough to save you. At least, enough to protect her. Ignorance is bliss and you don’t want to ruin the first vacation she’s had in years.

Your mother snores in the other bed. You lay awake. Your phone rests on your stomach. You wait for the inevitable buzz. 

You feel weak, so fraught that your bones are heavy. Weary. That’s the word. You’re so tired of running, especially when it only feels like you’re standing still. 

Brrrrr. 

The vibration makes you jolt. You grab at the phone clumsily and raise it to read the message. It’s him. It’s not a surprise. No one hs your number but the woman in the room with you. Or so you thought. 

‘You looked really nice tonight.’ 

You stare. You can’t answer that. You doubt he expects one. No, he’s taunting you. 

‘How’s your mom?’ 

You sit up and hiss. No. No. That’s off-limits. 

‘Leave her alone,’ your thumbs skitter over the keys quickly. 

Three dots appear. Then disappear. Then pop up again. 

‘I don’t like talking like this.’ 

You grit your teeth. Fuck off. You want so badly to type it in. Your mother snorts and rolls over. The next message shakes your hands. 

‘Room 3054.’ 

‘Where?’ You text back as seeing your suite number makes you ill. 

‘Bar. Got a cocktail waiting for you.’ 

Checkmate. You’re no good at his game and you’re terrified of him flipping the board. You slide out of bed quietly and wade through the dark. You pull a hoodie on over your camisole, careless of the flowy fabric of your shorts. You step into your sneakers, bending the backs, and shove the room key into your sweater pocket. 

He’s waiting, just like he said. With a beer for himself and another bright yellow drink for you. You near as he tugs at one of his dark curls, combing his fingers through the knot at the base of his skull. He grunts as he looses it and brings his hand back to the bottle. 

You climb up next to him. You ignore the drink. 

“What are you doing here?” You ask. 

“I should ask you the same.” 

“It’s none--” you begin and think better of it. “I’m spending time with my mother. Shouldn’t you be with your family?” 

He grits his teeth and swallows. Walter is a big man. Burly is an understatement. Before, when he was just customer, you compared him to a teddy bear. Now he’s grizzly stalking you through the trees. 

“We were supposed to be together. It’s the holiday. You couldn’t even let me know?” He turns to stare you down with his icy blue eyes. 

Your cheek ticks and your eyes flick to the wall. He scares you. More than anything. 

“I’ve been asking to meet your mom, haven’t I?” 

“Please, why... why do you have to do this?” 

“Why do you have to do this?” He shoots back. “I’m the only reason you’re safe.” 

You shudder and rub your arm. No, he’s the reason you’re scared. He's the reason you can’t sleep. You never asked for any of this. 

You gnaw on your cheeks and shake your head. Your mouth is dry and your chest is empty. The futility keeps you quiet. 

“Your mom seems nice--” 

“No,” you look at him again. “No. She’s my mom. She’s all I have so you don’t-- don’t.” You beg. “Whatever you want, I’ll do it, but you don’t get near her. You--” 

“You act like I want to hurt her. Why would I do that? She gave me you?” He arches a brow. 

You inhale and lean your elbow on the bar, “Walter.” 

His lashes flick up and his tongue pokes out to trace his lips, “have your drink. We’ll have enough time to go back to my room before she’s up.” 

You stare at him. He turns to the bar and lifts the beer bottle. He drinks casually as you watch. You lower your head as your hands shake over your lap. You reach to turn yourself on the tall stool.  

The mirror behind the bar reflects your fear. His eyes meet yours and you wince. You knew this was too good to be true. You knew that even here wasn’t far enough.

FAQ

What is a Big Bang?

A Big Bang is a fandom event wherein writers and artists come together to create! Typically, a writer will create a fic that meets a certain minimum length requirement, and an artist will create an art piece based upon that work. Writers and artists are paired up to work on their parts until the posting date, where the pieces are posted together!

Who can participate?

Any fans of the Stobotnik pairing are more than welcome to participate! This includes writers and artists, but we are also looking for beta readers and moderators. Currently, there is no cutoff for the number of participants.

How do I join?

Currently, sign-ups are not yet open! The first round of sign-ups will be for writers, followed by artist and beta readers, who may input preferences for which project they would like to work on.

What happens after I sign up?

You will be contacted in DMs with the link to a Discord server, which will be the main hub for communication and check-ins. A Discord account will most likely be required for your participation in the event, but we are currently looking at possible alternative forms of communication if enough people request it. Can I write/draw NSFW?

As long as you are over 18, yes! There will be a question within the application to confirm you are 18 or older; if you lie about this to us, you will be removed from the event. It is also required that writing and art of this nature is appropriately tagged and warned upon posting.

Can I participate as both an artist and writer?

No. For the sake of us here in the mod team and everyone participating, it is far easier if each person only does one thing, so you will need to pick one or the other.

Is there a theme?

There is no theme; if we run another event in future, there may be, but for the 2025 Big Bang, there's no theme, so go wild!

A guide to the Universal Truth, Strange Aeons is the Muppet Joker.

This post is long, like about 2k words.

To begin we must begin at the beginning, while my second unmask post is a bit old at this point is it still the centre of it all, every post of the muppet joker, can be traced back to this post. You can see it as the Point of return, the point where everything always goes back and connects with the rest of the Muppetsaga. Now from this post, we can connect everything I ever posted about the universal Truth. May it be about the reason as to why Athena is named like this, likes MCR and why her “real” name is Maya. The Muppet jokers, NFT HIVliving Confession can be traced back to this post. What I want to say is that this post is important to understand the universal Truth.

With that important point out of the way, lets do some history. On the 11th of July 2024, I posted my first ever Strange is the muppet joker post, THEY ARE THE SAME STRANGE AEONS IS THE MUPPET JOKER Quickly it was reblogged by the Muppet joker, with him commenting “As I have said many times before: I run almost every blog on Tumblr, including your blog, @unmask-strange-aeons. This is no secret. Please get with the times. “This ignited a fire that would never stop, new followers rushed in on mass, now that many people don’t know, is that while all of this was going down on Tumblr, I was in the strange aeons discord server, spreading the universal Truth, with many others showing interest in the Truth. Not long after I posted my @strange-aeons is the @the-muppet-joker post, the central post, which quickly gathered the attention of the People not only on Tumblr, but also on the strange discord server, where in face of this revelation, the people quickly demanded an answer of Father Strange, now importantly, she stayed quite on discord… On the Tumblr side of things, the post had taken off and quickly it was making its round in the Muppetverse.  And the Muppet Joker quickly was made aware of the post where he commented: “No one will ever believe you” now while this was going on the discord became louder and louder until Strange finally gave an answer… by commenting under my Tumblr post.

She commented the same as the muppet joker… the discord at this moment, exploded, with people’s confusion about this going wild. While all of this happened, I enacted phase 2 of my plan. You see while my first unmask post was aimed to get the universal truth to the people, it was also designed to get the interest of the muppet joker, I knew that strange would never directly talk to me about this, so my goal was to trick the muppet joker to talk to me. So, I created a fake Unmask Discord server with the goal of tricking the muppet joker into joining… which they did.

But back to Tumblr for a while, you see while all of this was going down on discord, the Tumblr post was reblogged by @statleragainstposers who reblogged saying “Intriguing... Unfortunately, I already have my theory that the Croaker is Tara Gillesbie, author of My Immortal. Although I do think that he is a fan of Mr Mrs Strange Aeons. Either way, I am glad to have another Rational Thinker in the Croakerverse. Expect to hear from me soon...“

 Which the Muppet Joker reblogged saying “A FAN????????I PUT HER IN MY DNI. I MADE A WHOLE HATEFUL CALLOUT POST. To imply that this entire time I have secretly been a fan of her content???????? WRONG AND FOOLISH. “

And after that the post exploded, having the universal truth in front of all the muppet joker followers? I gained hundreds of followers soon after.

Now we can go back to the Muppet Joker in my discord server, we had a talk, where after, he confessed of being Strange Aeons. I am in talks with the muppet joker.

And one day later something shall begin which I never escape, it’s a trend you could say, “Unmask? You want to unmask strange aeons? You first need to unmask yourself... Father Strange!” Accusing me of being Strange Aeons? A trend which should never die. Even now I am getting accused of being her. But back to the Muppet.

13th July

People begin to see the universal truth and I got asks like THIS. People came together to find gems like THIS. Or more People acknowledging the truth like THIS.

This is why @strange-aeons made a youtube video about @the-muppet-joker. It’s a post about exactly what it sounds like. This also is the begin of Strange Aeons Propaganda machine. (this will be a trend)

MORE accusations that I am Strange. This is the 2nd time.

Now for the next bit I need you all to remember that all of this started during the start of the Apartmentsaga, you know when he ran away from home and lived together with, Athena, Saga and Milton. Because Athena might just be the 2nd character in this that is most like Strange Aeons, from her love to MCR to so much more.

Now with all the Muppet of that day out of the way, lets talk more about the discord server, it grew, and soon many interesting people joind the discord, from muppet followers to… Strange Aeons Patreons? Yes, some of Strange Aeons Patreons came over to my Server and declared: we are to help you. Does this could as a civil war inside of the strange Empire? I do Hope it does. Dillyhub is Dead.

At least, that's what it appears to be based on the bugs, lack of customer support response, and rapid decline of the site's stylesheets evidently defaulting to factory settings-

Banshriek actually did some extra digging and as it turns out, this site may as well be largely abandoned, even more so than I initially suspected. What he dug up is actually very... interesting, but also incredibly confusing and weird LMAO

(p.s. i checked out that community discord and it's also been dead for years, going through it was actually really depressing because there are a number of comic creator mutuals who i know from other servers who were clearly trying to be a tight-knit community for this platform and the devs... really did seem to abandon them altogether, never returning their calls or answering their questions or responding to their feedback 😔😭)

Welp, what now?

I do, ultimately, need a secondary mirror for Rekindled. It's convenient and helpful for users who don't have Tumblr accounts, and it's great for me as well because it means I can offer higher-quality uploads without all the restrictive image limits I have to deal with here.

I'm currently looking at NamiComi as the next mirror for Rekindled. I already have an account and the first episode posted there, so I would simply have to pick it up again where it left off. My other option that I can think of off the top of my head is Lemoon.

That said, if anyone has any suggestions for alternative mirrors, I'm open to hearing them. Just be aware that when it comes to mirrors specifically for Rekindled, I wanna fly under the radar. There's a reason I haven't ever posted Rekindled to Webtoons or Tapas, and I don't plan doing so now. So whatever platform I choose, it has to be something discreet. To put it simply, we need a Danny LOL

Sooo yeah! For now, updates outside of Tumblr are obviously paused until I can get another mirror up to date (and that's gonna take at least an afternoon LMAO)

I'll be doing what I can to update DH readers on the situation on that end, but I'm not gonna lie, it's gonna be tricky with the current state of the site. I think my best option is to try and edit / replace the episodes that are currently present with new images that will explain everything and redirect them elsewhere. I mean, I'm already apparently listed as a competitor to Dillyhub, may as well put that power to good use, y'know? 😆 (but that's assuming the edits will even work, that's still TBD).

In the meantime, the next episode will still be posting here on Tumblr when it's finished, hopefully within the next couple weeks or so. By that time I'll probably already have another mirror site set up anyways, buuuut let me know what y'all think about the two choices that I'm erring towards!

Until then, rest in peace, Dillyhub. I don't know if this was an intentional shuttering done quietly in the hopes no one would notice (a failure of course thanks to yours truly) or if their only 2-3 employees just forgot to renew the domain/hosting license for the year, but until the site looks and acts like itself again, I can only assume that the platform has breathed its last. Ethel's Vicious Mockery Analysis

I love when Ethel uses vicious mockery in the game, because I feel like it gives insight into the character’s insecurities, you know? So let’s further dissect that mockery.

WYLL

“Oh, look! It's daddy's regret.”

“Fraud of the Frontiers!”

“Do you think losing that eye made you a hero?”

Wyll wants to be seen as a hero so badly… and I’m starting to think that has a little something to do with daddy issues. This “daddy’s regret” line from Ethel, matched with one of Wyll’s desires when confronted by the secret laboratory mirror being his father’s forgiveness, certainly says there is something unresolved there…

GALE

“I can smell what's under those bandages, wizard. You're all rot and ruin.”

“Come to greet death early? You'll be a lovely spectacle.”

“Who would be jealous of you, apprentice?”

The first two aren’t anything new—we’re already aware of Gale’s condition after all. But why would Ethel call him an apprentice? Is he lying about how great a wizard he once was? Or maybe it’s just because he’s lost all his powers, and she’s teasing him about that.

SHADOWHEART

“You're so far up Shar's cake you can't see straight.”

“Why would Shar love you when no one else does?”

“You're no complex puzzle. Just a sad little girl.”

These to me, at least, speak of an undiscussed bubbling crisis of faith Shadowheart may be undergoing. And I am very interested in the second line above. Shadowheart is the type of person to keep everyone at arm’s length, and yet at the same time, it seems from this, desperately wants to be loved? That matches up with her “she took me in when no one else would” answer when asked why she became a worshipper of Shar in the first place. So it seems to me, like Shadowheart experiencing compassion from another person, possibly for the first time in her memory, is leading her to question her faith in Shar.

LAE’ZEL

“A toad with a tadpole! How fitting.”

“Your people will never take you back - illithid scum.”

“Do you miss kissing Vlaakith's feet, gith?”

Lae’zel’s biggest desire is to become kith’rak – we know this. But more to that, I think her biggest desire is to be accepted and revered by her people. Ethel saying that she will never achieve this is probably Lae’zel’s greatest fear.

ASTARION

“Is there still rat stuck in your teeth, slave?”

“Deep down, you like being leashed, don't you?”

“You're one thirsty night away from betraying everyone.”

Okay, okay, okay… the first two? Ethel just being a top tier bitch. But the last one… The last one suggests that Astarion actually does have some care for his travelling companions, if he’s concerned about hurting them. I think that brings a lot out of his character, because it confirms he’s not just a one-dimensional jerk. The glimpses of his nice side are just as genuine.

KARLACH

“Let's pull your strings, infernal puppet.”

“Happy to sell everyone's soul but your own, aren't you?”

“When I'm done, even the Hells won't want you.”

We don’t know a lot about Karlach, because she isn’t available as a companion in Early Access. But what little we do know, adds up with what Ethel says here. We know she was caught up in the Blood War as essentially a slave to Zariel. And judging from this mockery, it seems that’s left her with questioning self-worth.

There is supposed to be a wonderful bakery in Foothill Town, and though it's not a complete break away from sweets, at least Trey doesn't have to bake. The both of you share a chocolate cake, which will lead to some staining of the face. Trey offers to clean the chocolate off you...the same way you two cleaned the plate.

Cater Diamond

Has a little bit of social media envy around this time of the year. He already planned on giving you little gifts anyway, but it would be nice to record the whole thing, too. All of your delightful reactions will be posted online for everyone to see, comment, and heart on Cater's MagiCam page. Cater may not be the mushy type, but you're gonna change that when you surprise him with a cheek kiss on live.

Doesn't believe he has time for holiday of love cheer. He's about to learn that you do. You don't have to do anything too active. Just spending time under the NRC garden trees is enough. Leona lets you play with his hair as long as you don't make it all messy. Oh, you move his hair just enough that it still remains perfectly...unkempt as it usually is. Then, his forehead is shown just enough for some cheeky, soft, and cute peaks.

Not the one to disappoint his date on the Day of Romance. He shall take you to the finest place in Foothill Town for dinner and he shall gift you the finest present he can think of to make you smile. All of this to show you how much he cares for you. Then, as you take a fine walk along the pier, gazing up at the brightest of stars, the two of you will share a lovely kiss of romance.

Knows how to make your perfect Valentine's Day (I mean, are we surprised?) Whatever your favorite things in the world are, he will deliver them. Wherever place you wanna go, he will take you there. Whatever your favorite song is, he will sing it. Your dream place to be kissed, as long as he has your consent, he shall make your dream come true.

Idia Shroud

Not the one to go public on the holiday of love (in which he most likely loathes). He's already been trapped by capitalism. He doesn't need another reason to go deeper. You can tell he's not in the mood to be alone as he asks you join a server and a play a few rounds to distract him from the red and pink heart fodder. All's harmless in an MMO farming game, right? He must've forgot that the game had a kissing feature.

Malleus Draconia

Has been aware of the holiday, but has never gotten to experience it for himself (as he hasn't had many chances to celebrate). He's overheard Lilia gushing over how much of a romantic you are, and Malleus can't ignore that information. But what can he do to express his wishes to be yours for the day...or maybe more after. At night, when you least expect he, he poofs over to Ramshackle, violin in tow. The sweet music captures you immediately. Malleus will float up to your window, prepared to receive your sentiment. A simple, yet thankful kiss on his forehead is enough for Malleus's chest to thump more than his heart could ever muster before.

Lilia Vanrouge

He's been so busy with...other things that Valentine's Day has been one of the holidays that slipped his mind until he arrived at NRC. His last few attempts at getting into the holiday spirit were...attempts. Now that he has you, his platonic cards to his friends and love cards for his family are top notch. How can he ever thank you? A kiss on the hand, perhaps? He was raised in the traditional ways after all.

How would Carmy react when he sees it, and after when he is kind of heated talking to you in the office and you tell him that’s that is something all women have to deal with on a daily bases. Everywhere. How would he react to this info?

Not under my watch

It's pretty late. Dinner service is almost over. Everyone's already had more than a couple of glasses of wine. Your feet are killing you. You just want to sit down but still, you keep that plastered smile on your face because the last thing you need is for the customers to notice your tired face.

And there's this one table that you tried to visit as rarely as possible. A couple of duchy-looking bikers. From the moment they stepped in, you knew they were up to something. Just the way their gazes followed every female in the restaurant said it all. A cold shiver ran down your back as you reached for the menus, walking towards them. In a perfect scenario, you would have gotten Richie to cover this but he had slipped out to drive Eva to her ballet class so it was just you.

"Hello, welcome to the Bear. Is there something I could get you two straight away?", you say in a chirpy voice. The two of them look at you like hawks. As if they were checking what part to bite into first. "How about we start with your name, baby girl", you already want to gag but keep up that same smile, "I don't think that's necessary, sir", "Oh, but how will we get your sweet cheeks here when we're in need for you?", the other says, leaning back to check your ass. "I'll let you look through the menu and will be back shortly to take your order", you say, turning to walk away. Stopping to pick up empty plates from the other tables. Saying goodbye to some of the customers. Thanking them for coming and wishing them a lovely evening. Yet all that time you could feel eyes watching you. Following your every move. And suddenly you get hyper-aware of how your shirt feels a bit too low cut and your breasts feel too outlined by the tight material. How the skirt feels too low cut. And you suddenly wonder if you lean across the table, does it show too much? But it's all the things you've never thought about. Nothing that bothered you before those two came along. The uniform is professional and the whole staff wears it. You try to shake it off. Glancing towards the clock. Richie should be back any minute now. He'll take over. You'll be fine. A thought about telling something to Carmen crosses your mind but you quickly chase that thought away. He's busy. And those two aren't worth his time.

A whistle catches your attention and you see one of them waving you over. You grit your teeth. Feeling like a dog called by an owner. "Ready to order?", you get your pen ready. Trying not to meet any of their eyes. "I'd like some with these tender-looking thighs", You feel his fingers reaching for the back of your leg and you quickly step back. Panic rises in your stomach. "Sir, I would ask you to...", you start, "You'll be begging by the time I'm done, doll. Not asking", he states. "Bend over why don't you", You feel another pair of hands on your back and you want to move away but you're so scared. Your whole body freezes. You grip the pan in your arms as you stare ahead.

And may all the holy spurts be with them. Because Carmen decided to look through the little window that leads to the front. A habit of his now that you've been working here. It's his way of calming himself in a way. Watching you smiling and chatting with the people always makes him feel at ease. He loves nothing more than watching you in your element. But it's also his way of making sure that you are well. This is Chicago after all. Too many dodgy people sneaking around. And his blood stopped pumping when he catches those two men groping you.

And, holy hell, is Carmen ready to raise hell. I don't even think there would be a question as to what he would do. Carmen's dropping the spoon into the pot and storming through the kitchen door. Because this is not acceptable. He snatches a couple of utensils as he goes. Ripping the hands away from your body. Slamming the rough stranger's palms to the table before two sets of forks make contact with their skin. "You fuckers will be lucky to walk out of here in one piece", he barks out. The room fills with cries of pain and swearing.

You feel someone else's hand on you once more, jumping slightly, only to be met with Richie. It's all a blur after that. Richie says something to Carmen. You feel him touching your face but you're kind of looking past him. It's all just a series of events. And then you end up in Carmen's office with him kneeling in front of you. "My love", he breathes out, carefully pushing a strand of your loose hair away. It killed him seeing you like this. His little sunshine. Absolute ray of sunshine now nothing more but a grey sky. Oh, how much Carmen wanted to go there and just beat the daylight out of these creeps.

"I'm okay", you mutter, reaching to squeeze his hand that has been lying on your thigh. "You should have come to grab me, love", he growls lightly you know that he's not mad at you. He's mad at the whole situation. It's frustrating to him that this shit is happening right under his nose. "Carm, it's fine. It's not the first time and...", but his wild eyes cut you off, "What do you... What do you mean not the first time?". His breaths are shallow now. You lean forward to cup his face, "It happened all the time in my last job. Hand on the back. Hand on the leg". Carmen is shaking his head, "I'll fucking find them all and", "And nothing, love, no one cares". But Carmen huffs, "I care. I care and this will never happen again. You come and tell me any time someone is looking suspicious to you", he's pulling you closer to him. Wrapping you up in his arms, "No one will touch you like that again. Not under my fucking watch".

Anyone is welcome to participate!

You can sign up both as an artist and a writer!! That said, we do not want you to bite more than you can chew, be careful and conscious of the event’s schedule!

Joining the Mr. Sadman discord is strongly advised, as there will be event related channels and roles available, but not required. Please make sure to give us another reliable and quick way to get a hold of you in the case that you don’t join the server/don’t use discord often!

If you are under the age of 18, you will not be able to create explicit content for the event. As a general rule, Mr. Sadman is a 16+ server, be aware of this fact!

The Mr. Sadman Modteam is a firm believer of “ship and let ship” as well as the kinktomato (https://fanlore.org/wiki/Kinktomato). As such, and in accordance with the Server’s existing rules, we will not tolerate any discrimination and harassment in any forms whatsoever. What’s a Big Bang?

Glad you asked! This is a challenge where writers come up with a 15k+ words fic and get paired with a just-as-enthusiastic artist that accompanies their written work with a piece of art! A detailed schedule spanning around 4 months will be available down this post, fear not! 

15k is a lot of words, is there any other way that, as a writer, I can participate?

There is! We are offering a beta-reader partnering system as well as a Mini Bang!

What’s a Mini Bang?

This is a challenge similar to a Big Bang where you write a piece under 15k words! Do note that the Mini Bang does not come with art like the Big Bang does!

Why does the Mini Bang don’t include art?

This is the less stressful option for writers who still want to participate in the event! Less stress for the writers and none for the artists! That said, this might be revised if an important number of artists sign up!

I don’t think my Big Bang fic is gonna reach 15k, can I downgrade to the Mini Bang?

Yes! You will be able to downgrade until December 2nd, a few weeks before drafts are due and artist pairing starts!

Rules and requirements

For Writers

What are the requirements for my fic? 

Your fic must be an unpublished, completely new work! It needs to be able to stand on its own (meaning that sequels and crossovers/fusions are allowed, but your fic must be able to be read on its own!) and must meet the minimum word count requirement, which is  15k words. It is also strongly recommended for no parts of your work to have been already published elsewhere (even small snippets)!

It is also mandatory that you keep your work a secret - this is to assure an anonymous art claim process and is very important. If you talk about your work in any public way (this includes our discord server), your violation will be discussed amongst the mod team and could result in potential removal from the event!

Does it have to focus on a romantic pairing?

Not at all! Your fic can be platonic, romantic, neither or all of the above, as long as it focuses on the relationship between Dream and Hob!

Does my fic have to be beta-read?

While it is not mandatory, we strongly encourage you to use a beta reader during your writing process! Don’t have a beta reader already? We offer a beta-reader pairing system! Just make sure to fill in the appropriate section in the sign-up form to indicate that you are in need of betaing!

My friend and I want to co-author a fic, is that alright?

Hell yeah! We love collaboration! Simply make sure to indicate it on each of your sign-up forms (meaning that each one of you needs to fill a form)!! The word count requirement is still 15k (even if you are one, two, three or more, yes!) and keep in mind, though, that you will not receive more art because there are more authors!

Can I have a secondary pairing in my fic?

Yes! As long as the focus of your fic is Dream/Hob, go ham!

Can I write threesomes, foursomes, polycules?

Yes! As long as the focus of your fic is Dream/Hob, please do!!

Can I write RPF (Tom Sturridge/Ferdinand Kingsley)?

Yes! 

What can’t I write, then?

Anything is fair game as long as it is properly tagged and/or warned for! Major content warnings (such as AO3 dictates) must also be applied properly! There is only one exception to this : work depicting real life children (such as the actors’), which is not allowed.

What if I have a fic that I’ve been working on but never posted?

You can totally use it! As long as your work remains unpublished, it’s fair game!

Can I write something for NaNoWriMo and use it as my submission?

Hell yeah!! As long as it’s unpublished and meets the word requirements!!

I’m so excited for this event that I want to write two fics, is that all right?

We never say no to more cake! Please do keep in mind that you’ll still have to respect the schedule for both works at the same time!

As the author, do I have a say in what my paired artist creates?

In short : no. While we do encourage collaboration, this is not a commission process. The artist has free reign on what they want to create that is inspired by your fic. If you can write what you want, then your artist can create what they want!

Can I already pair up with an artist friend?

Absolutely! Just make sure you tell us in the sign up form!

I don’t like my paired artist and/or what my artist has created.

While this is unfortunate, your artist has spent their own energy and free time to create their piece. To dismiss them and their efforts is plain rude. The mods will not step in and give you another artist simply because you are not pleased with your match. Your artist deserves your thanks, not your ire. 

What are authors check-ins?

Be not afraid! These are mostly touch points for the modteam to make sure everyone is still on board and on schedule! That said, these are mandatory! Failure to respond to check-ins will disqualify you from participating in the current event.

What if I can’t meet a deadline?

Please make sure to inform a mod as soon as you know! Accommodations might be worked out depending on the situation. We simply ask you to be considerate to your fellow artists, it is unfair to them to back out as they had already started working on their pieces!

Where do I post my fic?

We ask you to post your story to the AO3 collection! You are free, after that, to post it anywhere else you’d like and/or prefer! There, you will also be able to embed and link to your artist’s piece(s)!

For Artists

What kind of art can I make?

Anything from traditional or digital drawing, to photomanips, fanvids, podfics, songwriting, book binding and more! We only ask you to put some effort into it, after all, your author has worked hard on their piece as well! 

A few exceptions include : playlists, icons and banners. These, while being a nice and fun bonus for your author, can’t be counted as your primary piece!

How much art do I have to make? 

You are required to make one piece of art! But if you are inspired, more are definitely welcome!

What are the minimum requirements for my art?

A minimum of 500px by 500px piece for visual pieces. A minimum of 2 minutes for digital pieces. 

*If your art doesn’t fit within these parameters, an agreement can be reached between mod, author and artist as to what could be considered equivalent/sufficient. 

How will I be able to claim a fic?

Art claims will be held from January 6th to 10th to give authors the time to complete a first draft as well as send in a summary of their work. We ask you to be readily available to answer messages during that time period as the process will be held on a “first come first served” basis. You will receive a link to the claiming form at the beginning of this period. 

Can I already pair up with a writer friend?

Absolutely! Just make sure to tell us in the signing up form!

How do I get in touch with my writer?

Fear not, the mods will place you in contact with your partner once pairing is done!

Are you a virgin goddess? Or do you have deimgod children who could go to camp Half Blood? Or are you both? ( In the Percy Jackson universe, Athena creates her deimgod children from thoughts in her mind)

And if you one of the later two, could I make a Calvalia Cabin?

I’ll be answering on Calva’s behalf if that’s alright, since it requires a bit of meta knowledge that she either A) would probably prefer not to answer [read: outright MISLEAD] or B) is not aware of, IC.

Calvalia is indeed a virgin goddess. She has an extremely avoidant/disorganized attachment style that makes it difficult—if not impossible—for her to trust others for something so intimate, and it unfortunately takes two to tango, so to speak. Her lack of attachments and free spirit are why Zephyrus agreed to raise her as his kin in the first place. But she is learning to let others close, slowly. Apollo is very patient, and determined.

But furthermore, should she ever truly fall in love, she is cursed to become incorporeal to the one she loves.

Forever.

On top of that, she also dislikes children, so even if she could produce an offspring without having another person involved, she probably wouldn’t. Because why would she?

HOWEVER

Don’t let that stop you from making a child of Calvalia! Someone from my Discord server actually has already [it’s this post here!] and the way we worked it out was that the child sprung from a bed of lilies of the valley that sprouted from Calvalia’s tears as she cried over a person she could not be with. However, she was not aware her crying—or the flowers—would produce a child. And so she would remain unaware that she had become a mother.

This is a rare occurrence in general, Calvalia does not often fall in love, so the population would be too small to warrant a cabin, and the child would likely be claimed by Apollo because the domain crossovers would make them almost indistinguishable from one of his own children [creativity, gifted in art, science, music, and the healing arts].

But also because I think he’d also know it was Calvalia’s kid, and takes them in because they’re hers.

And because he knows they’d be neglected and/or homeless otherwise—

Nevertheless, I’d be very interested to see what a Calvalia cabin looks like!)

Dinner Date (Jegulus One Shot)

"The servers hate us," James said in frustration as yet another server walked by without giving them the time of day or taking their order.

He looked across the table at Regulus, who looked so nice in the formal robes that he'd worn for the occasion. It was the first anniversary of their first date, and they'd wanted to celebrate that by going to the nicest restaurant in Hogsmeade.

James had wondered how he'd gotten so lucky as to take Regulus here for such a celebration, but the staff had soured his mood.

"Well you did spill water all over the table," Regulus said, a smile playing at his lips.

James frowned. That had hardly been what had started it.

"They already hated us before that. And it's not my fault it's such an unwieldy pitcher."

The pitcher in question was tall and narrow and unlike any that he was used to. Once it has started pouring out, it had become unbalanced and spilled out in a rush. The custom may have been for him to wait for a waiter to do it, but none had stopped at their table until he'd already made the mess.

"I know," Regulus said generously. He must have been really aware of it too, to not make fun of James any further for the mishap.

James swilled his now-filled water glass and watched the liquid swirl around.

"We're paying customers though," he said quietly, "Do you think it's because we're two men here together on a date?"

Regulus shook his head.

"No. I think it's because we're young and they think we won't order a lot. They don't think we'll be lucrative customers for them. So we will simply have to show them that we are."

James's eyes widened. Regulus was absolutely right.

"Oh. Yes, then we can do that. Whatever you were going to order, double it."

Regulus laughed lightly.

"Let me look at that wine list once again."

Give you a fandom phenomenon? Uhhhhh how about the fact that people overcorrected with Sans and his edgy 2016 characterization and instead had him...not care over anything, including Papyrus' death. I'd be mad at it but honestly I can't help but imagine people cringing so hard at their 2016 characterization that they went in the complete opposite direction and it's so funny

Oh yeah it's a very interesting phenomenon for sure! It's extra noticable with Sans due to how popular he is. As for you mentioning people cringing at their past interpretations - that's probably a part of it. People who joined the fandom as angsty preteens are now young adults with different views.

Not to mention, especially the AU fans, but also a lot of others spent a huge amount of time in fanon echo chambers (cough cough, evil Chara effect) instead of interacting with the source material. The fandom being a video game you can only play a few times before it feels repetitive probably doesn't help.

So, there are the old fans. But mainly in 2020, other people have also joined. And unlike the old ones, they just started interacting with the game. It's still fresh in their mind.

... And 2020 led to a lot of people who are new to fandom joining fandoms without knowing proper fandom etiquette. Those people that comment on noncanon ship posts to complain about the fact that it's not canon, and neglect to ignore that fandoms are about fun.

By trying to make him more 'canon' people basically just make him fanon in the complete opposite direction. I also feel like people saw what they did back then by making him so depressed, not just from his brother's death in a no mercy, but also just in general. Usually from a knowledge of resets.

One thing that I haven't noticed a change in is interestingly enough is how people treat his knowledge. Which is way less than people make it. He knows there's a possibility and that the human is connected to it. Hell, he tests if Frisk is a time traveler by giving them a silly password because he doesn't know for sure.

Not that I'm criticizing stories that give him more awareness. The fact that there's so many just means it has great potential. Aftertale is probably my favorite example of that. Geno is such a cool character and the nightmares are a creative way of handling it. 4th wall breaking is probably my favorite phenomenon in all of fiction.

Recently, people have started exploring the idea of other characters having that awareness. I mean, Flowey is canonically aware, and is a mere millimeter away from grasping his world's nature as a video game. He's already treated it as one himself. So, UT!Dusttale was born.

A lot of AU Sanses have that baked into their very character, so I get why people wouldn't touch that (though, it would be extremely interesting to figure out how Dusttale or Something New would work if it was just a deja vu feeling)

I am totally not biased to say I would love a take involving Chara. Pretty sure No More Deals is a similar thing. And you specifically know exactly the details I've thought of for Storyshift: Elevation :)

Oh, and another aspect of the overcorrection thing: AUs.

Back then you could just read up on the concept of an AU Sans and put him somewhere and nobody would give a shit about mischaracterization. Which, you know, isn't perfect but I have to admit it was really fun to do.

Nowdays you compare Dreamtale to Celestia and Luna ONCE in a Discord server to make a bad joke and all hell breaks loose. I get wanting to respect creators more than we did back then, but we have to remember that AUs are just as fanon as 'Don't curse around my bro' Sans.

The creators' words are not gospel.

As much as I love Toby, his words aren't gospel either.

People are allowed to have their own takes, their own opinions. I am never going to police anyone's takes on fandom shit. But one important thing to note is: people can have their own takes, but people should also aknowledge what's their own take and what's the creator's original vision.
