THE FIRST OF THE DILF!SKZ SERIES IS FINALLY HERE!!
This contains mature content and is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18.
“No, Mina what did I tell you we do NOT pull people’s hai- wait, BENJAMIN, where did you get that frog from?!? Let it go!!” You scramble around the classroom as you try and control the chaos that is your 4s classroom. Being the lead teacher in a room full of toddlers is nowhere near easy, but you’ve always had an affinity for kids. It started out with babysitting your cousins on the weekends, then volunteering as a counselor at summer camp. Eventually it led to you, taking early education classes in college and graduating with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Now, you find yourself here, making sure these kids keep the sand IN the sand box, for the third time this week.
No matter how frustrated you got, though, you could never get genuinely angry. They’re just babies, after all. They have no real concept of right and wrong (or object permanence for that matter), therefore their decision making skills are ~slightly~ off. Plus, they look so cute with their innocent, bright smiles and big eyes. How could you not love them?
The day is just about over, and you’re trying to get everything as clean as possible before the kids leave, that way you don’t have to stay too late to finish it all. It’s Friday, and the thought of going home to your quiet apartment for some much needed me time is all you’re thinking about as you wipe down the snack table. You survey the other children to make sure no one is causing trouble, and you smile as you take in the sight of everyone (finally) sitting in their assigned seats, various hobbies distracting them as they wait for their parents to arrive.
You hear a slight crash, and a teeny tiny voice accompany it.
“Shit!”
That single word, coming from such a small mouth catches you off guard. You want to laugh-- but you know better than to encourage it. Shocked expression on your face, you walk over to the table where the two girls are playing Jenga. The tower has been knocked down, and you can only assume that the expletive was said by the loser of the game. A sweet little girl, brown hair almost nearing her waist and big eyes that still held stars in them, was looking up at you in confusion. “Now sweetie, where did you learn that word from?” You ask incredulously.
The way she was looking at you screamed innocence, her smile never faltering. “From my daddy! He said it when he dropped the casserole on the ground the other night. But it’s okay! He ordered us a pizza instead!” She says and you can’t help but giggle, while simultaneously making a note to speak to the girl’s father. Kids tend to overshare way too much, and it reminds you of all the crazy things you’ve heard over the years-- those poor parents.
Before you know it, the day has ended and it’s time to walk the children outside. Calling your students to form a line at the door, you double check for backpacks and blankies and stuffed animals. Once everyone (and everything) is settled, you lead the children outside to their parents who are standing with open arms, ready to have their babies back with them for the night. The sight is always so endearing, the little ones getting overly excited and jumping into their parents’ arms. As you watch everyone begin to leave, you notice a certain brunette toddler waddling up to her father, who scoops her up into his arms and immediately puts her on his shoulders.
She looks like him, the way that his eyes seem to shine reminiscent of the sparkle you get to see in hers every morning. He’s rocking her back and forth as she’s sat atop him, her giggles ringing out through the daycare’s playground and bringing a sense of calm and happiness to the air. Making your way over to the two of them, your breath catches in your throat when you realize the height difference between the two of you. He’s at least a head taller than you, making you feel small as you get his attention. “I’m sorry, Mr. Lee? Would it be okay if I had a word with you for just a moment?” You ask him quietly.
He looks at you, and you can feel your heartbeat skip when a small smile graces his lips. Taking his daughter off of his shoulders, he ushers her over toward another parent, and the child runs off with Kim Seungmin and his daughter, with promises of ice cream from the truck down the road. “Absolutely, is everything okay Ms….?” He says, realizing (embarrassingly) that he’s never gotten your name. “Y/N! My name is Y/N.” You say with a smile, and he nods, wanting to commit your name to memory.
Minho has seen you day in and day out, greeting the kids in the morning at drop off, and bringing them outside to release to their parents. He’s spoken to you maybe once? Maybe twice? He really wasn’t sure, but something about your soft smile and the way you take care of the children is hitting him differently today. He has a mix of curiosity and slight panic running through his system, afraid his daughter had gotten into big trouble. She’s his whole world, and although raising her on his own definitely isn’t easy, it’s just as equally rewarding. She’s just like him, her personality so big and so funny for someone so little.
“Everything is okay! I just wanted to tell you, your daughter did something today...” you started, and you can see the look in his eyes shift from panic to humor as you explain the situation from earlier today. He chuckles a little once you finish speaking, and you’re laughing too. “Ah, oh my goodness I am so sorry…” he trails off. “It’s alright, Mr. Lee, dont wo-” “Minho,” he cuts you off. “You can call me Minho,” he says, and you nod your head in agreement. “It’s okay, Minho. It actually was pretty funny..just be a little more careful around her, okay?” You giggle, and you could’ve sworn you saw his cheeks blush pink.
After that, talking to Minho when he came to pick up his daughter became a daily occurrence. It was never for long, maybe two or three minutes of conversation at a time, but it was something you looked forward to. He seemed so carefree, always coming in with a smile on his face. Each day his little girl runs to him and demands to be put on his shoulders, and he always obliges.
It would be a lie to say you didn’t form some type of crush on the man in question. You would find yourself hiding your smile after every little interaction, and you weren’t sure how to feel about the fact that you fell for him so easily. It had been a long time since you had decided to focus on your love life, so every time you get those butterflies in your chest you’re unsure of how to react.
Minho, on the other hand, is absolutely smitten. He never took this kind of interest in his daughter’s teachers before. He couldn’t explain it, but the feeling he gets when he witnesses his little girl run up to hug you in the mornings as you head to class fills him with a lighthearted emotion. Plus, the more he spoke to you, the more he came to find out that the two of you are fairly similar. He knew that he needed to take you out on a date. It was the only thing he could think about.
Would it be inappropriate? Absolutely. For as long as you were her teacher, there was no way he’d be able to openly express his feelings. So, he waits. He keeps his feelings at bay for the remainder of the year, waiting for summer to come so he can ask you out on an actual date. And when he does, it’s in the most unexpected way possible.
You see, Minho had a plan. Your birthday was coming up soon, and he was going to get you a small gift and a card with some cheesy pick up line, asking you to do him the honor of going to dinner with him. His daughter, however, has a (very unfiltered) mind of her own.
The summer months were in full swing, the heat and humidity taking over the town as people rode their bikes through the streets, and everyone who drove a car with their windows down, music playing at full volume. It was one of your favorite things about summer, you loved seeing everyone enjoying themselves, alongside the nostalgic feeling of freedom that comes with the warmer weather. This is why you decide one Saturday morning to get up early and head to the Farmer’s Market. The big, open air market held fond memories from your childhood, and going there to shop for your groceries became a stress reliever for you ever since you started college. The older women selling produce were the sweetest, always giving you free samples when you came round.
Today was one of those days, the smells of spices and different street foods filling your noose as you looked at some apples at a produce stand. You pick up what seems like the perfect apple. Round, shiny, no bruises anywhere. That is, until you feel a little someone bump into your legs.
The apple falls to the ground when you’re knocked over, and you hear a small, familiar voice give you an apology. It’s almost a shock when you hear Minho’s voice, too, as you turn around. “Oh my god, miss, I am so...Y/N?” He apologizes, stopping in his tracks when he realizes that it’s you who is standing in front of the two of them. “Oh! Minho, hello! And hi there sweetheart! It’s alright, you didn’t hurt me,” you say in a small voice, dropping down to her level so you can meet her eyes. “But I made you drop your apple! I’m really sorry,” she pouts, and your heart absolutely melts at the sweetness. “It’s okay, I can just get another one! Why don’t you help me pick it out, yeah?” You ask, and her eyes light up with their familiar brightness.
She nods her head furiously and you laugh, picking her up when she raises her arms. You hold her on your hip and lean down just enough for her to grab a new apple to put in your bag. On the sidelines, Minho is trying so hard not to die at the sight in front of him. His daughter looks so happy, and so do you, bonding over the differences between the fruits. He just smiles as he watches in the interaction.
“This one looks perfect! Don’t you agree, sweetie?” You ask the little girl, and she giggles and takes it from your hands. “Yeah! Daddy, look at the apple~~” she says, and Minho’s attention is brought back to the girl in your arms. “Y-yes pumpkin, it looks really perfect! Red apples are a lot sweeter than green apples, they’re your favorite right? Why don’t we get some too?” Minho rambles rather quickly, and it makes you laugh as you watch him clumsily put some apples into a produce bag and hand money to the lady working at the register.
Once you also pay for your apples, Minho invites you to come have lunch with the two of them in the picnic area. You can’t bring yourself to tell them no, so you follow them to an area of grass that is filled with families eating, playing and just enjoying the summer weather. You and Minho help his daughter with her lunch, all the while enjoying the time together, as well. It had been a while since you’d seen each other, because the little girl was no longer in your 4’s class. You spent a few hours with the two of them, and when it was time to go, his little girl scrambles into your lap before you can even make a move to get up.
“I figured something out!” She says, proudly. “Yes, dear, what is it?” Minho asks her, and you crane your head to look over at her. “I think daddy likes you, Miss Y/N,” she blurts out. Your cheeks turn pink, and Minho starts stuttering. “W-what makes you think that, love?” You ask her, and she shrugs her head, completely unbothered by the fact that the two of you look like you’ve been caught, even though nothing has happened.
“Well,” she says, determined. “Daddy talks reaaaallyyyy fast when he talks about me, or soonie doongie and dori, because he likes us a lot. And he does the same thing when he talks to you, or talks about you. I just figured that because he talks fast like that, it must mean he really likes you. Because daddy talks reeeaaally fast about you.” She says, and then goes back to eating a strawberry out of the container that Minho brought with him. The blush on your cheeks turns even darker, and Minho’s face isn’t too far behind, either.
“Aaah, I see. You must be really smart to have figured that out, huh?” You ask her as you laugh, trying to make your nervousness go away. Minho has since taken interest in his hands, not being able to look you in the eye. “Well,” you start, getting the girl’s attention. You lean in close, but still far enough away that Minho can hear, too. “I think that I like your daddy just as much,” You “whisper” in her ear. Her eyes go wide, and Minho’s face shoots up from looking at his hands. “Really?!” The girl squeals, and you just smile and pat her head.
“Really.”
The three of you wander the market for a little while longer, before you notice Minho’s daughter getting sleepy. Once she asks Minho to pick her up, he carries her on his back and she’s out cold within two minutes. He laughs at the snoring toddler, and looks down at the ground before he looks at you. “Did you mean it?” he asks, and you feel your heart explode when you look into his eyes. “About liking me, did you really mean it?” He repeats, and you can’t bring yourself to hide the truth anymore. “Mhm, I did mean it.” You say quietly. His smile brightens ten fold, and if he wasn’t hauling a sleeping child on his back, he would’ve taken your hand. “Well in that case, would it be out of pocket to ask you over for dinner this weekend? She’s going to a slumber party at Seungmin’s house, so we can have an actual conversation,” he asks sheepishly.
“I would love that.”
__________
The rest of the week flies by, and you can feel the nerves gathering in your stomach as you arrive at Minho’s house. Walking inside, it’s exactly how you could imagine it to be. It’s cozy, and you can definitely tell that a toddler lives there. Toys are in the living room corner, stacked neatly next to a two story dollhouse. Sippy cups align the kitchen sink, and you see cat shaped sandwich cutters sitting in the dish drainer. The sight makes you smile, as you remember cooing over the cute shapes at lunch time.
Minho looks absolutely stunning, you think to yourself. He’s dressed casually, but his button down shirt makes his shoulders look broad and the way his sleeves are rolled up to his elbows makes your knees feel weak. He greets you with a warm smile and a small hug, leading you into the kitchen. He really pulled out all the stops for this-- candles at the center of the dining table, two glasses with red wine sitting next to empty plates as he brings the food to the table. “Wow, this looks amazing,” you tell him as you take a seat across from him, sipping your wine. “Thank you, I really hope you like it,” he laughs.
Dinner goes well, just as you expected it to. The two of you never run out of things to talk about, and the wine is definitely helping the two of you loosen up a little bit. Once dinner is over, you insist that you help with the dishes. Minho tries to decline, but you bump him out of the way with your hip, picking up a towel to dry the clean dishes with. He laughs and mimics the action, except his arm wraps around your waist in an attempt to catch you if you fall over. You feel electricity shoot through you at the action, and you turn to face him as you laugh.
He doesn’t let go, and the look in his eyes has you dropping your towel onto the kitchen counter. The air in the room feels charged, and you can’t help but reach up to wrap your arms around his neck. Everything just felt natural, with him. Like you were supposed to be this way all along. His other hand drops the dish he was holding into the sink, and he decides to wrap it around your waist instead. The feeling of finally being encapsulated in his arms makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up.
The two of you stay like that, for just a moment longer. It's Minho who breaks the silence first, tightening his hold on you. “Is it..is it okay if I kiss you?” he asks softly. The action is so sweet, you smile as you pull him closer to you. “Please,” you ask, right before his lips crash onto yours. The kiss is soft, slow, everything you could have wanted. His lips still taste like the wine you’ve been drinking, and it makes you want to deepen the kiss. So you do.
Minho feels your tongue at his lips, and he immediately grants you entrance but quickly gains dominance over you. A hand of his moves from your waist up into your hair as he pushes you into the kitchen counter. Your hands roam his body, his broad shoulders and toned arms feeling like heaven under your fingertips. When your hands find his hair, you tug on it slightly and that’s enough to prompt Minho to lift you onto the counter. He’s standing between your legs, his hands falling to your hips once again. He traces light circles into the skin under your sweater as you start trailing kisses down his neck.
“I’ve been waiting so long for this,” you say breathily, and it makes Minho chuckle. “You really want this?” He asks, confirming that it’s okay for him to take it further. “I want all of it.” You say while looking him in the eyes. They darken, and you can tell that you’ve just awoken something inside the man. His hands bunch under your shirt, slowly lifting it up to reveal the royal purple bra that you were wearing. Thanking god that you chose a matching set, you take the initiative to take your sweater off the rest of the way, throwing it on a chair near the table.
Minho wastes no time attacking your neck, biting marks near your collarbone and trailing them down towards your breast. He takes one in his hands, feeling the fabric underneath his hands and relishing in the quiet noises you’re making. His fingers ghost over your nipples, the texture of the fabric bringing you an added sensation. You subconsciously move your hips against his, feeling how hard he is through his jeans. Minho sighs, and the sound is music to your ears. You continue to move your hips against his, and Minho quickly grabs the back of your legs. “Someone’s eager, aren’t they?” he teases, telling you to hold on as he picks you up and takes you in the direction of his bedroom. His lips never leave your neck, at least not until he has you lying comfortably on top of the pillows on his bead. The look in his eyes is almost primal, and it mirrors every feeling that is running through your body in the moment.
You sit up quickly, unbuttoning his shirt slowly as you kiss each inch of exposed skin. Minho helps you as he shrugs his shirt off his shoulders, and you take in the sight of the gorgeous man sitting in front of you. You look down to his jeans and then back into his eyes, as if asking for permission. He grabs your hand and guides it to his belt, and that’s a sure fire sign that you can continue.
You expertly undo his jeans, pulling the zipper down with your teeth in a teasing way. “Fuck, baby,” he says at the sight, and his little praise just spurs you on. You move him to sit on the edge of the bed, and you sink to your knees in front of him as you pull down his jeans. His cock is something to behold-- the perfect size, pink and standing at attention. Tempting. You grab the base in your hand, and bring your tongue out to lick at the head. Minho melts into your touch, his fingers going to your hair instantly. You begin slowly, sucking on the head and using your hand to stroke the rest of his cock. It’s taking every ounce of self control from Minho to not fuck into your mouth, wanting to savor the first of hopefully many encounters with you.
You look so gorgeous on your knees for him, looking up at him through your eyelashes as you begin to sink lower onto his cock. He can feel your tongue on the underside of his dick, tracing the vein and making sure to swirl your tongue at his head with each pass you make. If you keep this up, he’s going to cum fast.
“As much as I enjoy the feeling of your pretty little mouth, baby, I don’t want to cum inside it this time.” He says, pulling you back up onto the bed. You feel excitement rise in your chest at the idea of a “next time”. You giggle as he hovers over you, pulling you into another kiss. He can taste you on his tongue, and there’s something so inherently dirty about it that makes him impatient.
He starts working on your jeans, undoing the buttons with ease and sliding them down your legs. He stares at the matching purple underwear that you’re in, and he chuckles darkly. “Seems like someone had something certain on their mind when getting dressed today, huh love?” He teases, tracing slow circles over your clit in a teasing way. “I-I don’t know what you mean,” you say as you try to keep your noises to a minimum. He’s going at a pace that is way too slow for your liking, but you’re not ready to beg for it. At least not yet.
“Hm? Feigning innocence now are we? That’s not very nice of you, baby. Tell me, what were you thinking when you put this on today, hm? Were you thinking that I’d take you like a good girl tonight?” He asks. His eyes never leave yours, and you try your hardest to keep your voice level. “Maybe,” you tease, and his pace quickens for just a moment, just enough to have you keening, but then he returns to the torturously slow pace. “Trying to be a brat, are we? Don’t worry, I can have that attitude fixed in no time,” he warns. You want to test him, see how far he’ll go. “Really? I don’t see you doing anything about it,” you fight back.
Bad idea.
Before you can even blink, your underwear are ripped off and thrown across the room, and Minho’s hand is now around your throat. The sweet feeling of the air leaving your lungs has you dizzy, not able to form coherent words. “Oh? Where’s that mouth of yours now huh?” He says, his tone condescending. His fingers return to your core, but this time his pace is rough and fast. You try to move, but the grip on your neck is tight. “Tell me what you want, love. Use your words,” he says. He decides to loosen his grip to let you speak.
“Please, Minho God just-just fuck me,” you finally speak out, voice shaky as your high is quickly approaching you. “That’s all the permission I need, baby doll.” He laughs as he pulls you closer to him. Reaching down, Minho grabs his cock in his hands and runs the head up and down your labia, teasing you before giving you the real thing. “You’re so wet, this is all for me right? I’m the only one who makes you feel like this?” He asks, knowing that you’re slowly losing your cool.
“Yes! Yes it’s only fo- only for you, Minho please” you beg, and it quickly turns into a moan as he enters you. Your back arches, and a low groan comes from Minho’s throat as he feels how tight you are around him. He stills for a moment, giving you time to adjust, but once you rock your hips into him even a little, he sets off at a steady pace. The feeling is euphoric, he’s stretching you in just the right places and somehow knows exactly how to make you see stars.
He’s panting, and when you whine a quiet “Harder, please,” he loses all control. Slamming into you quickly, he brings his hand back to your throat. “You’re so perfect for me, baby. Jesus. Only for me,” he says over and over again. He’s leaned close to you now, mouth against your ear and you can hear every ounce of praise that comes from his mouth. Your high is approaching, and you clench around Minho when he starts drawing fast circles on your clit once again.
“Minho I- I’m so close, please make me cum,” you moan, and with a certain swivel of his hips he’s hitting a spot that’s making you see stars. “Cum for me then, baby. Let me feel you,” he says, quickening his pace once again, so fast you didn’t think it was possible.
The only sounds in the room are skin slapping and your labored breathing, moans loud as you finally feel the knot in your core tighten and then burst. His name leaves your lips in a long, drawn out whine, and you feel him fill you up not long after your orgasm starts wearing off. He’s panting in your ear, grip tightening around your throat once again as you feel him spill into you.
Riding out both of your highs, Minho’s thrusts slowly come to a stop. The two of you lay there, basking in the glow of the events that just unfolded. You stay like that for a few minutes, and then Minho gets up to run the shower, placing a kiss on your forehead as he leaves the bedroom.
You end up going for another round in the shower, and then straight to bed as the two of you are too worn out to do anything else.
You wake up the next morning in one of his tshirts, and you can smell pancakes being made in the kitchen. You look over and realize that Minho is no longer next to you, and you smile as you hear the radio playing and a sweet voice singing along.
Aware that his daughter could be coming home at any minute, you throw your own jeans on as you walk into the kitchen, Minho’s shirt still falling off your shoulder. Quietly padding behind him, he jumps as you wrap your arms around his waist. “Good morning,” you giggle, and he quickly turns to place a kiss on your cheek. “Good morning to you too, doll.” He says. The name brings back memories of last night and you feel a blush on your cheeks.
You help him finish making pancakes, and when the front door opens, you hear little feet making their way to the kitchen, followed by the sound of Seungmin’s voice. “Hey, Minho I figured I’d stop in and say hi since I’m dropping off your- oh. Hello.” Seungmin says as he sees you at the counter with said man. “Hi,” you say quietly, giggling at his expression. “Y/N!!!!!!!!!!” you hear from behind him. You lean over and see Minho’s daughter coming at you full force. You quickly scoop her up into your arms, spinning her around as her bright laugh fills the room. It makes Minho’s heart explode, and he immediately feels embarrassed as he looks over at Seungmin. “I’m not judging, good for you bro.” The younger man says, sticking out his fist for Minho to bump. He laughs, but does it anyway, his attention turning back to your and his daughter.
“Are you here to have breakfast with us?!?! Daddy makes the best pancakes!!” The girl exclaims, and you laugh as you look over to Minho, sharing a secret glance.
“I sure am, sweetheart.”

Can you do something fluffy with Yunho? Maybe just like spending a day off together, relaxing in bed and cuddling and having fun together?
@aliceu Ugh i heard felix and minho cuddles 😭😭❤ also now I'm thinking about yunho hugs, istg he's build like a teddy bear
@jonghos-left-airpod Going to the pet shelter to pick out a puppy with yunho
firST OFF
This is long. SECOND OFF
You three are the reason I started watching Yunho fancams and funny moments
AND NOW I’M SOFT FOR THIS ADORABLE HUMAN BEING
I only had eyes for Joong, Wooyoung and Seonghwa at first and NOW YUNHO JUST CAME IN PHEW
anyways - we have gathered here to talk about a day off with Yunho
Man’s a teddy bear
i have nothing more to say
He’s probably wrapped around you while still fast asleep, arm over your stomach and legs over yours, head nuzzled against your neck
you wake up to his hair tickling your nose a bit -
It’s been a while since you’ve woken up before Yunho - the novelty melts your sleepy annoyance at being awoken
He’s always gone before you stir awake, work calls, studying, schedules starting early and ending late in his line of work
and you end up petting his hair softly, trailing your fingers over his arm and shoulders, letting him sleep in
His presence is so solid next to you, soft and comforting and so...warm
You didn’t realize how much you missed waking up next to him until now
The comfort only ends up lulling you back to sleep, dropping a few kisses against his hairline as you nod off
Next time you wake up, Yunho’s awake and perched next to you, poking you in the side with a bright grin on his face
“IT’S PUPPY DAY.”
And all you want to do is pull him back against you and demand he sleep some more
and give you more sleepy cuddles
So you do just that
wrap your arms around his neck and pull him back towards you
Proceed to wrap your limbs around his frame ( man’s giggling aloud by now)
and demand he stay in bed for a little longer .-.
it’s been too long since you spent a lazy morning in bed together .-.
and ffs Yunho it’s 8.30 on a sunday morning what work do you possibly have on a free day?
Man obliges you and you laze around
press soft kisses to skin, catch each other up on minor occurrences you hadn’t already spoken about
and of course
the new addition to your little family
You were due at the adoption center this afternoon to bring home your new puppy
An adorable little 3-week old Shiba Inu puppy
Yunho had been the most excitable over the whole affair, so happy about having a little being to adore and take care of
The two of you had been arguing over names for a while now
and still hadn’t decided
In the end, you decided to let the puppy choose her name
Soon enough, it was nearing midday and the two of you dragged yourselves out of bed
Time to shower, eat and get to the adoption center!!
Once the paper work was done, you were led to a little grassy park where the volunteer said they’d bring the puppy
Yunho’s reaction to the lil fluffball was almost as endearing as the fullball herself
His face had lit up with the brightest grin, and had already started moving towards the volunteer who was holding her
You hung back and watched, heart too full to do anything else at the absolute joy shining through Yunho’s face
The puppy was only too excited to meet her new parents, yipping happily as Yunho held her
It seemed there was no more competition where the name was concerned
Your new puppy’s name was Byeol
A happy little family <3

♡ Vet's Kitten. ♡
Lee Minho x Reader.
Word count: 4.2k
♡ Warnings ♡: smut, fingering, penetrative sex, clothed sex (kinda) protected sex, pet name, and a little bit of aftercare, cockwarming & praising.
A/n: i was supposed to post this yesterday but my internet went out ayhubdnjka im sorry. i hope you enjoy this! ♡
You had always loved animals, all kinds of animals. Be it a cat, a dog, a lizard or a turtle, you were always fascinated by it.
That's why you decided to major as a veterinarian, because your biggest wish was to help them, you couldn't spare to see them suffer. And luckily for you, when you were in your last semester of college, life was looking promising.
You sent your resume to some pet hospitals around the city, a few of them called you and asked you to have an interview, and after the interview you had to choose between two places.
You ended up choosing the one closest to your house, because you could go walking there.
That, and because your new boss besides looking like a cold man, he showed that he really cared about animals. That's what really convinced you to work there. He seemed like he didn't care about anyone, but when he interviewed you he was actually nice. He was incredibly handsome too, but that was only a bonus because you wouldn't dare to make a move on him.
"I'm Lee Minho, the owner" he said, taking your hand to shake it as a formal greeting and with a smile.
Shaking your head, you came back to the real world. You dozed off to the memories of when you started working a few weeks ago.
Right now, you were ordered to do the inventory of the store. The day hadn't been as busy as others, a few people coming in to their pet's shot appointments.
You observed carefully as Minho took the needle and injected the cute puppy shaking in the metal table, your eyebrows furrowed analyzing the process and looking at your boss maneuver with the filled needle.
He smiled and closed the door behind the customer when they left, sighing in satisfaction as the day came to an end.
He crossed his look with your, the smile never leaving his face.
"Y/N, I need you to do something else before we close" he talked, approaching you and taking your hand in his. You couldn’t help the blush growing in your cheeks at the contact Minho made with you, making you stare at his hold in your hand to hide your burning face from him.
Your boss cleared his throat, then continued what he was saying: "I know it's late, but we need to get the inventory done before tomorrow at 10 am, and then you can leave. I promise that you can take the day tomorrow if it takes a lot of time…"
You simply nodded at his request, taking your clipboard to count the inventory more comfortably. He smiled at you and waited for you to walk out of his office before him, like a true gentleman, and then he turned off the light and closed the door behind him.
...Something you found quite strange, because he always made sure to close the door before closing.
You shrugged it off, maybe he was going to bring something from another room to his office and check it more carefully.
You made your way to the storage room, feeling your boss's eyes following you. You resisted the urge to look back at him, tightening your grip on the clipboard. You didn't know when Minho left, but when you turned to close the door he wasn't there looking at you anymore.
You stayed in silence, concentrating on the outside noise. There he was. He told the rest of customers and staff that they could leave home, that he would clean for a bit before closing.
One of the friends you made, Hyunjin, asked if you already went home, but Minho told her that he needed you to do something before closing that couldn't wait. He assured your tall friend that he would walk you home to make sure you arrived safely.
Deciding you had heard enough, you finally started counting everything in the cellar.
Time passed, you didn't know how long you were in there counting and moving things, a thin layer of sweat covered your forehead, but after counting and writing down the results you sighed tiredly, walking out of the cellar to the reception of the store.
The place was empty, you could see the dark streets being illuminated by the moonlight through the glass doors. It looked peaceful, but for some reason you couldn't help but shiver at the thought of walking alone with Minho to your house.
You turned and walked through the 'staff only' door that allowed you to go to Minho's office. Outside, you could see the light still on through the closed window and from under the door. You stood outside the door doubting if you should knock to let him know you were done.
After inhaling and exhaling, getting mentally ready to let your boss know you wanted to go home and sleep peacefully, your first came in contact with the door softly, one, two times.
"Ah, Y/N. Come on in" you heard him.
You did as he told, clipboard still in hand pressed to your chest.
There he was, reading some documents you believed were all the diagnosis made through the week.
He placed the folder on the desk, looking at you through his reading glasses and signaling you to sit on the chair in front of him. You plopped down tiredly and gave him the clipboard, sighing quietly.
"Thank you, Y/N. You have no idea how thankful I am that you managed to finish this in time for tomorrow" Minho commented, leaving the object you had just handed him behind, after looking at it quickly and standing up.
Your gaze was fixed on the clipboard resting alone on the desk, annoyed that all the hard work you put into the paper was being ignored, but your train of thought got lost when Minho's hands found place on your shoulders, squeezing gently and making your head fall back slightly.
"I'm sorry you're so tired after doing the inventory…" your boss murmured, looking at you through his glasses, his beautiful brown eyes hiding a glint of something unknown to you.
"It's okay, I was just doing what I was asked to do" you cleared your throat to talk, but you couldn't recognize your voice, the volume in which you had said that was low and shy, as if your voice was shaking and betraying you.
You couldn't help the blush in your cheeks when Minho smirked, his hands massaging your shoulders and making you sigh in satisfaction at the sensation.
"Poor Y/N, working until late at night because her boss asked her, and as the little good girl that she is she didn't complain, that's an excellent girl. I think she deserves a reward for doing a great job" the words he was using made you blush, his hands working on your shoulders, squeezing and moving around weren't helping you get rid of the burning in your face.
"What do you say, Y/N? Would you like me to reward you for the good job you've been doing or do you wanna go straight home?" he stopped his motions, walking to his chair behind the desk, sitting in front of you, his face with a mysterious smile. You knew there was something else behind those words, but the way he was talking to you, his eyes and his smile… You wanted to say yes, without thinking about it.
You had needs, that you did for sure. And since you started working your intimate life was somewhat… lacking.
It didn't help that you had the most handsome boss in the world. The man was sexy, he did things to you, and you couldn't keep lying to yourself anymore. Even when he was doing the simplest thing he managed to look ethereally gorgeous.
He could be sitting in his office, typing something on his computer, legs crossed and your mind would wander, asking how nice it must feel to sit on his lap and maybe kiss him, or to straddle him and grind against his cock. But then he would look at you and smile, bringing you out of your trance with innumerable fantasies about him, your face hot and tones darker in your cheeks in embarrassment.
Yes, Minho did things to you, most days of the week you had to take care of yourself and the insufferable wetness between your legs.
Swallowing, you blinked and nodded your head.
"Yes, please. I want a reward, I've been doing a great job lately…" your voice got lost at the ending of the sentence, but it seemed like Minho perfectly understood what you said, his smile grew bigger and his eyebrows furrowed, looking like he was pitying you for being neglected so far.
"It's okay, kitten. I'll give you the best reward" he said. He indicated you to walk to him, and like you got so used to doing, you followed his orders.
He tugged your arm gently for you to sit on his lap, hugging your waist to keep you in place while his other hand wandered along your leg, his fingers sending a tingling sensation to your back.
Your lips parted, he was looking intensely at you, making you feel small and shy in a way you hadn't ever felt before. Your body relaxed, a signal that he could do whatever he wanted to you.
Slowly, Minho's hand rested on your thigh, the hand on your waist abandoned its spot and he held your face gently as he made you look at him, your eyes focused on Minho's and your breath trapped in your throat. This was the only opportunity you had to be this close to him. Closing the distance, you kissed him sweetly, one of your hands on his shoulder and the other on his chest playing with the buttons on his shirt. You sighed in your head when you felt him correspond to your kiss, his lips moving against yours.
You separated from him when you felt the lack of oxygen in your lungs, a thread of saliva connecting you both. Your eyes opened to see his own, they looked darker, a flame of something shining in them.
The hand on your cheek moved to the back of your neck and pulled you so he could kiss you again, harsher this time, like if he were starving for your lips only. The still hand placed on your thigh started moving up and down your skirt, raking his nails on your exposed skin and making you shiver.
Minho separated from you, making you whimper for the loss of warmth on your lips, he smiled and pulled you close, biting your lower lip playfully, you smiled when you felt his teeth biting you, your eyes closed. And then he started kissing down your jaw to your neck, pulling your hair back to expose more of your neck to him.
The hand on your neck crawled to the roots of your hair, grabbing a fist of it and yanking your head backwards, a moan escaping from your lips at the sudden motion. His other hand made you separate your thighs, which you happily did as you anticipated what was about to come next.
His fingers came in contact with your aching sex, the friction of his digits rubbing your clit made you moan loudly, trembling on his lap as he bit another hickey in your neck.
Minho was driving you crazy, you had to hold onto his shoulders to not fall from your position on his lap, he noticed you struggling and handled you so your back was against his chest, each of your legs hanging from the sides of the chair, all spread for his fingers to work on you just like you wanted.
He pushed your panties to the side with one hand, his other one caressing the inside of your thigh, keeping it in place just in case you felt the need to close your legs.
Minho touched carefully, his fingers separating your folds and touching you where you needed him the most. A quiet moan was heard inside the room, and your hand flew to your mouth to try and stop all the sounds coming from you.
Minho stopped what he was doing, taking your hand from your mouth and guiding it to your nether regions, where he was working.
"Is my kitten shy? Don't be, baby, I wanna hear you… I wanna hear you scream my name when I make you cum" Minho said, his voice in a low tone as he spoke against your ear so you could hear him clearly. You couldn't help the wetness growing between your legs, this side of Minho was something you would've never imagined, and you were living for it, for everything.
Your finger shyly played with your folds just like his had done before, but you looked up to him, a disappointed look obvious in your eyes.
"What's the problem, kitten? Are your fingers not enough to please you? You want me to do it for you, hmm?* He said, taking your hand with his left one and holding it in place against your chest, his right hand continuing to work on you, passing his finger through your slit, massaging your bud and teasing your entrance.
"M-Minho… Please…" you cried out, your free hand tugging the right sleeve of his shirt as you sighed in frustration when he slapped your pussy gently, making you squeal.
"Please what, kitten?" he asked nonchalantly.
"Your fingers… I need them, no– I need to have you inside me, Minho…" you whimpered. You left out a choked moan when you felt him push his middle finger inside you, your warm walls embracing his lonely digit.
You moved your hips looking for some action, but he hugged your waist to keep you still above him.
At this point you were squirming, the way his finger worked inside you, looking for your most sensitive spot and his thumb massaging your clit in circles, helping you reach your high more and more.
Minho inserted a second finger inside your warm insides, your back arching against his chest when his fingers started moving in scissoring motions, until it was too much sensations for you to take in and your walls started to clench around his fingers, making him moan about how tight you were hugging him and you started shaking slightly.
"Minho a-ah…" you closed your eyes, breathing heavily "I'm gonna come" you cried out, your hands grabbing the armrests of the chair, your knuckles turning white due to the force you were employing.
"Cum for me, kitten" he commanded, increasing the speed of his fingers thrusting into you and playing with your sensitive clit when you finally released around his fingers, him still torturing your bundle through your climax.
Taking his fingers out of you, he stared at the liquid covering his hand for a moment and then he liked his fingers clean. When he saw you looking at him, he took one of his fingers from his mouth and caressed your lower lip, spreading the mixture of your cum and his saliva. You shyly opened your mouth to surround his fingers with your wet tongue and finish his task of kicking his fingers clean, the small action making you more aroused.
Minho loved how your tongue played with his fingers, groaning and shutting his eyes. You felt his boner twitch, caged in Minho's tight pants and you moved your hips backwards to feel more of him.
But Minho didn't like that.
He grumbled and removed his fingers from your mouth, his saliva coated hand pushing everything on his desk to the floor making you jump in surprise. He clearly had a mission, and you knew he was determined to finish that task.
He grabbed your hips with more force than needed, making you leave the spot on his lap to bend you over his now empty desk. He stood up behind you, manhandling you in the position he needed, pushing the small of your back with his big hand to have your chest against the cold surface of the desk, then widening your legs with his knee to appreciate your glistening sex.
Minho stepped back to appreciate the view in front of him, you looked so vulnerable in that moment, he wasn't sure that he could control himself any longer.
"Oh, kitten… You look so good like this…" he mumbled. You saw him biting his lip from the corner of your eyes, you were unsure that your still shaky legs could support you, so you grabbed the edges of the desk with your delicate hands, your sweaty cheek sticking to the cold material of the desk.
You blinked lazily, realizing Minho had moved when you opened your eyes. Trying to agudyze your sense of hearing to find him, the noise of drawers opening grabbed your full attention, the sound proveniente from behind you, so you supposed that he was there.
And when his fingers passed again through your dripping folds once and made you whimper, you knew that you were right, the sensation making you shiver. You couldn't see him in that moment, but by the sounds coming from your behind, he was unbuckling his belt. Then, a noise of something unwrapping was heard, it was a particular noise you missed hearing since you started working.
You gasped when Minho's cock teased you, your hole throbbing to have something inside. You needed him, and he did nothing but keep teasing your entrance and playing with your still sensitive clit.
"M-Minho, please…" you turned your head to look at him, clear lust showing in your eyes and your mouth partially open. He wasn't even paying attention to you, instead he was focused on not giving you what you wanted right away.
But after a moment he finally returned your look, his cock pressing against your entrance and slowly entering you, never removing his eyes from yours. You tried to keep your eyes open, but the sensation of Minho filling you up was so satisfactory that you couldn't help the pornographic moan coming out of you, trying to keep still for him to enter you at his pace and not rush things.
You tried to tell him how good he felt inside you, but you couldn't form any coherent sentences, opting for biting your lip and arching your back. Minho grunted at the sensation of being finally inside you, your walls were hugging him so tightly he thought your pussy was the best thing he ever tried.
"You're doing so good for me, kitten" he mumbled, pulling out of you in the same slow pace he entered you. He was moving so slowly the seconds he spent getting out of you felt like hours, a delicious torture that you would pay any time to experience again. He thrusted agonizingly slowly into you one more time, his member stretching you out nicely, Minho observing how his dick disappeared when he entered you fully again, your pussy embracing him so warmly he couldn’t remove his eyes from the view.
Slowly and as his thrust increased, the room was filled with the obscene sounds of your moans mixed with Minho’s groaning and wet noises of skin slapping against skin, the position you were in wasn’t much to Minho’s liking, so he took you by the arm and held you with it, separating you from the desk that was now warm because of your body heath, your other hand supporting you by resting flat on the desk, one of your shaky knees moving to rest on the edge of the desk, permitting Minho to hit deeper into you, the new position making you throw your head backwards, almost reaching Minho’s right shoulder.
“R-right there!” you screamed when he hit your g spot, pushing your hips back when Minho moved and lost the angle.
And he hit it again, holding your arm tighter when the strength of your other arm supporting you above the desk weakened and you almost collapsed on the now probably cold surface of it, the pleasure Minho was providing you with making your whole body shake, your eyes shut and moaning uncontrollably.
The hand that Minho was holding your hips in place with left its spot, snaking around your waist looking for your sensitive bundle and massaging to provide you even more satisfaction.
It became too much for you to handle, the knowing feeling of your orgasm approaching becoming stronger and your velvety walls embraced Minho even more, making him moan and thrusting faster in you. Both your heavy breathing warning you of the ending of this intimate moment.
"Minho… I'm gonna cum" you babbled to him, turning your head slightly to let him know that you were close. You couldn't catch the full view of him, but he looked so beautiful, his forehead shining with sweat just like his toned chest, his mouth parted open and moving quickly as he penetrated you.
"Scream my name, kitten. Cum for me" Minho ordered you, triggering your climax with those simple words, and you came undone around him.
He kept playing with your clit and moving his hips against yours, looking for his own release. It didn't take much longer for him to reach his own high, staying still inside you when a final wave of pleasure found him.
You and him stayed silent, trying to regain your breath again. Minho finally pulled out of you, tying the full condom and throwing it to the trash can next to the desk, meanwhile you pulled your skirt down and looked for something to clean the mess between your legs.
"How are you feeling Y/N? Are you okay?" Minho asked, looking at you with concern on his face as he opened a drawer and pulled and took a shirt from it. He made you sit on the desk and opened your legs to clean the evidence of what you two were doing.
You smiled sweetly to him from your seat on the desk.
"I'm good, don't worry about me. You should worry more about all the papers on the floor. Do you need help with that?" Minho chuckled at your response to his previous questions, picking up his own clothes and putting them on in front of you. Beside what he did to you, your face grew hot when you looked at him dress up, biting your lip and playing with your fingers.
"I could use some help to re organize this, thank you" the man said once he was dressed, noticing the look you were giving him. Luckily, he didn't say anything about it.
"Maybe after we're done here we can continue our activities at my place" he offered, handing you some of the things he picked up for you to place on the desk.
"Oh, then let's hurry up" you said excitedly, kneeling to pick more things up under Minho's eyes.
It was in that moment that he decided to be direct and tell you the reasons behind his actions. He had to do it. So he kneeled next to you, taking your hands and making you look at him.
"Y/N, I like you. I like working with you, a lot. I don't know why but I get a similar feeling of being at home when you're around… It's something I can't really describe, but thanks to that I started seeing you as more than another employee" you listened to him carefully, taking in and processing each of his words. You were a little shocked, but a small smile was found in your face when you realized that he also felt something for you.
"I hope that you can accept my feelings for you, and if you reciprocate them I'll know that I'm the luckiest man on earth" he sighed, closing his eyes briefly and caressing your hand with his thumb.
When he was done talking, you removed your hands from his bigger one and took his face, closing the distance between you and kissing him softly.
"I like you too, Minho. And if you're the luckiest man on earth then I guess that means I'm the luckiest woman for getting to be with someone like you" you giggled, your words making Minho smile and pull you close to kiss you again.
"Let's get out of here then. This seems like a problem for future Minho, I'm sure he'll hate me for it but being with you is more worth it. Come one" he stood up and helped you stand up as well. You made your way to the door while he looked for his keys.
A few moments later, the place was securely closed and you were walking hand in hand to Minho's car, mentally thanking God for choosing that pet hospital instead of the other.
Because you had gotten so used to working there, taking care of the little animals, learning new things everyday and talking with Minho and your other friends. It was now impossible for you to imagine a life without that place, and even worse; without Minho by your side.

Stray Kids’ reaction to their best friend randomly admitting their feelings/asking them out

Bang Chan
“Okay! Okay, my turn to pick the game!” You say after you finish laughing and you calm down. Tonight was game night with Chan, and you never get tired of the never ending laughter. “Let’s play truth of dare.. If you’re up for it.”
“Of course I’m up for it! That sounds like you’re trying to challenge me.” He points out in mock shock. You shake your head, but he beings the game without another comment. “Ok, would you rather lick peanut butter off a stranger’s feet, or lick a lolly pop that fell in dirt.”
“Both disgusting, but I’ll take the lolly pop one, because dirt is dirt.. can’t be any worse than PB & toe jam..” You both laugh at your comment before shivering at the thought. You take a deep breath before asking your choices, and speedily ask ‘Would you rather kiss me or Felix..”
“Haha, oh definitely you.” He replies, laughing at the thought of kissing one of his best friends.
“Prove it.” You say, with a smirk tugging at your lips. At this he stops laughing and stares at you in shock. He doesn’t know what to say and stutters a reply. Wide eyes frantically search your face, not knowing what to find. Your laugh knocks him out of his confusion, and he leans forward to kiss you. You freeze, and he freezes, wondering if you were actually serious, but when you kiss back, he smiles into the kiss.
Lee Minho (Lee Know)
“Urgh,” you grunt, falling down once again during your practice, “I can’t seem to get this move right.”
“Do you need help? Its a jump move, so I can spot you, make sure you don’t fall again.” Minho offers, gently pulling you back to your feet and laughing at your pouty face. He knows you don’t like messing up your choreography, and this particular dance was hard for you to learn.
“Oh my, yes, thank you, that would be wonderful.” Your pout fades away in a sigh of relief when you hear his offer. You start the music again, and start dancing. Minho has watched you countless times, and knows the parts you struggle with, so he follows along easily and supports you when you need it.
Your big jump is coming up, you prepare yourself. You concentrate on your steps, and your moves, but Minho’s hands grazes your waist at the wrong moment, distracting you. You misstep, and you prepare for impact with the floor. When you don’t feel the bang, you open your eyes, and breath a sigh of relief when you remember you had a spotter. Minho’s face is inches from your own, and you can feel his warm breath of your face.
“You should kiss me.” You breath out. His eyes go wide, and he drops you the last couple of inches to the floor and he falls backwards.
“Wha-woah-why? What did you say?” He stares at you from his tumbled position on the floor. You repeat your question, and he’s flabbergasted at your forward question. You smile and shrug, before pulling the both of you up off the floor. Now face to face, Minho seems to regain some of his confidence, and leans in, testing the waters. You quickly swing your arms around his neck, pulling him in, and seal your feelings with a kiss. After that, you go back to dancing, and you both work in harmony, permitting you to properly finish your dance.
Seo Changbin
Out on your regular coffee run with Changbin, you notice how many people stare at him as you walk by. A handful of them were even bold enough to come up and ask for his number, which he gladly handed out leaving them with his signature wink and smile. You stood by watching them chat him up, completely ignoring your presence. You quietly comment on it, mentioning how popular he seems to be this morning.
“I mean, of course! Why wouldn’t people look at me? Have you seen me?” He asks, as he strikes some of his favorite ‘bad boy’ poses, making you laugh.
“I mean, can’t argue with that, you do look hot enough to kiss.” He laughs with that, continuing to flex and exaggerate his muscles and overall appearance. He looks up at you, and notices the blush that now cover your cheeks. He pauses, and realizes you were being serious with that statement. You lock eyes, but you quickly look away. You giggle at his poses, when they suddenly become less ‘dark Changbin’ and more ‘baby Changbin’ showing off his more adorable side. His cheeks flush pink as you continue your walk back. Your hand reaches out to his and you see his face go bright pink. You smile and reach up to kiss his cheek and watch his smile grow.
Hwang Hyunjin
Snuggling up on the couch is one of your favorite things to do on a quiet evening. Especially when Hyunjin decides to join. The movie on the screen is a cheesy rom-com, the ones Hyunjin likes to tease you about, but you know that he secretly likes them just as much. Throughout the movie, silence usually fills the air, but when a romantic scene comes on, Hyunjin tries to diffuse the awkwardness by joking about how unrealistic and cheesy these scenes are. You turn around, raising your head from his lap, and give him a disapproving look.
“What,” he asks, “Oh come on, don’t tell me you like these things!”
“I do! And whats wrong with that?” You counter back. “They’re adorable, and sweet, and I always imagine doing that with my significant other.”
“Ohhh, you and what date?” He laughs at that. It’s widely known in your group that you’re the single friend who never dates.
“Hopefully you, one day.” You mumble, hoping he doesn’t hear, and pout at your lack of relationship. Laughter follows your comment, and you realize it might not have been as quiet as you hoped.
“You like ME! Ha! That’s funny,” he pauses, and you think he’s going to mock you, “because I like you too.”
Your head whips up to face him, and he smiles at you. You look for any hint that he may be taunting you, but he looks genuinely happy. You smile back and lay your head back down on his lap, reaching to grab his hand. Your fingers interlock, and your faces shine like stars for the rest of the movie.
Han Jisung (Han)
“Hey, um, Han, can I talk to you for a moment?” you say shyly. The boys were very rowdy in the dorm, and Han barely heard the question, until he sees a nervous face looking back at him. He quickly stands up and you lead to another room, where no one was around to disturb them.
“What’s wrong,” Han asks gently, sitting down on a chair, “did something happen? What can I do to help?” y/n’s heart fills with guilt, knowing that if this didn’t end well, Han would be too sweet to loose as a friend, and his refusal would hurt all the more, despite him trying not to be hurtful.
“So.. I’ve been spending a lot of time here, right? With you and the boys. And well.. I don’t know how to put this without putting you in an awkward position, and I don’t want it to be awkward if this doesn’t end well, and then I come back, but I’ve realized something-”
“You have a crush on someone in the dorm.” he interrupts. The disappointment in his eyes is clear, his whole body slouches, “I’m happy for you, who is it?”
“You” His whole body tenses, and it goes dead silent in the room. His eyes look up, to make sure he heard that right. When he sees no doubt, he stands up and takes a step closer, until they’re face to face. He slowly leans in and kisses you. Both faces light up with joy.
“So..” he says, “is this the ending you had in mind?”
Lee Felix (Lee Felix or Lee Yongbok)
“Oi Felix, wanna go out?” you ask, finally building up the courage. Felix stays lying on the couch, phone in hand, not looking up at his best friend.
“Yeah sure, what are you in the mood for? We could order in too. Kinda in a lazy mood, but walking might do me some good, you know, gotta burn off all the calories in gonna get eating-”
“No, on a date.”
“On a date,” his curiosity gets the best of him and his head pops up, his eyes go big and round, “with who?”
“um.. I w-was thinking me..?” you stutter shyly, hoping their friendship wasn’t just completely destroyed by this one question. Felix quickly stands up and hugs y/n, lifting them off their seat, spinning them around before he slowly sets them down. Shock covers both of their faces, but shine bright with smiles.
“I thought you’d never ask.”
Kim Seungmin
Seungmin quickly rushed past you in the dorm room, and straight into his room. He closed the door softly, trying not to attract the attention of the busy boys in the kitchen. You notice this, and quietly slip away, knocking on the door, waiting for permission to enter. You hear a soft ‘come in’ and open the door to find Seungmin curled up on his bed. He quickly sat up when he saw you, and and wiped his eyes, thinking you couldn’t see his tears.
“Hey Seungmin, is everything ok?,” you say softly, placing an arm around his shoulder as you sit, “Is there anything I can help with?”
After a long silence, Seungmin laid his head on your shoulder, surprising you. It’s not that Seungmin never touches you, but he’s usually a ray of sunshine, always supportive and positive. Seeing him upset hurt you, and you wanted him to go back to his normal bubbly state.
“I just feel like I can do more to make people happy. I want to make people smile, but I don’t know if I’m doing a good job.. Am I?”
“Of course you are! You’re the happiest person I know, and no one can frown when you’re around.” You reply, hugging his shoulders, trying to convey how much he means to you.
“You really think so?”
“I definitely mean it. I know for myself, you make me happy everyday. You make me smile, and laugh. And that’s why I like you,” you stare at him, waiting to see his reaction, and when you see his eyes go wide you repeat your confession, “I like you Seungmin, I always have... I think everyone everyone here knows that.”
“I- um, you do? You really do?” Seungmin asks, lost for words. He sits up and stares at you and a smile blooms on his face. You laugh, and nod. He wraps his arms around you and plops a kiss on your cheek.
Right as he does, the door swings open and the rest of the boys tumble in, tripping and falling over each other, blaming each other for eavesdropping. Seungmin quickly stands up, and ushers them out of the room, but not before you see half of the boys wink in your direction.
Yang Jeongin (I.N.)
You’ve always seen I.N. as the butt end of the boys jokes. He was the baby of the group, and the boys sometimes treated him like he wasn’t a grown adult. You never really thought much of it, you thought it was cute. But you slowly noticed that when people would ruffle his hair, or tell him how young he was, you’d see his shoulders fall, or his face twist in disgust. It was fast, and he’d be back to his normal self.
One day, he sat you down and straight up asked you if he was dating material. In his head, he was a baby, no one would want to date him because they’d want a more mature person. You’re flabbergasted and never thought that that was why he acted so weirdly when treated as such.
“I can assure you, you’re perfect dating material. And I know for sure there are many people who would line up to date you,” you state. And before he can argue you continue. “I know I would.”
His eyes go wide and he looks surprised at the words that leave your mouth. He quickly straightens up, trying to look more ‘adult-like’. You laugh at that, and feel him relax when you lean in for a hug.

Gally x Reader Chapter 35: The end
Y/N'S POV
I felt a cool salty breeze blow over my face making me groan. I wearily opened my eyes to see I was lying in a wooden hut. I grunted in pain as I got up from the bed. I pulled up my shirt to see bandages around my stomach. I slipped on the shoes which were next to the bed and lifted the thin veil over the entrance. I walked out to see a sandy shore ahead of me. So this was the safe haven everyone was talking about.
"You jerk!"I turned my head to see a bunch of kids messing around. Looking on, I saw a small settlement with people walking around or talking with one another. I stumbled as I walked around, watching in wonder while people worked with some stopping to watch me passing by. Looking in front of me, I saw Thomas, Frypan and Minho approaching me. I waved at them before Thomas pulled me into a hug.
"Thank god you woke up"His voice was muffled as he hugged me tightly.
"How long was I asleep?"I asked when he let me go, only for me to be pulled into more hugs from Frypan and Minho.
"Almost two weeks"Frypan replied.
"Please don't ever run in front of bullets again"Minho half-joked.
"I can't make any promises"I chuckled as they rolled their eyes"So, where's Gally?"I asked them, my heart pounding, dreading any more bad news.
"He's fine"Thomas assured me"He's just resting for the first time since we got here"
"He hasn't been resting?"I questioned.
"He wouldn't leave your side"Minho said softly"Wouldn't sleep, wouldn't eat. He wouldn't even shower. I'm surprised his smell alone didn't wake you up"I smiled at that before looking down. I saw the guys look at each other before Thomas took my arm.
"Come on, I want to show you something"I waved to Minho and Frypan as Thomas led me to a center area that had a huge rock in front of it with dozens of names carved into it. I ran my fingers over the names: Teresa, Winston, Chuck, Alby and.....Newt. I paused at his name, staring at it.
"I miss him Tommy"I said quietly.
"I miss him too _______"He put his arm around my shoulders"Gally said he found you clenching this"He opened his hand to reveal the tubular pendant which was now open"I found some letters inside"I looked up at Thomas as I picked up the pendant.
"What did they say?"
"I found one addressed to me and one for you"He pointed to the paper curled inside"Don't worry, I didn't read yours. Whatever Newt wrote, it isn't for me to know"He smiled softly at me"I want you to the keep the pendant. I have my letter, it's enough for me"He kissed my forehead and patted my shoulder before walking away.
I made my way to a cliff side just beyond the huts and sat down. I took a deep breath then with shaky hands, I pulled out the letter and read it.
Dear _______,
I don't know when I last wrote down something this important. Not since before the maze, I suppose. But I feel you need to read this because I know you're probably shutting everyone out like you do when things begin to wear down on you. But I can't let you do that, love. I can't let you waste away just because you believe I'm gone. I'm not, I promise.
I won't relay when or how I got infected but I've had it long enough to accept my fate. I'm not scared of dying but I am scared of forgetting those I love. Every night before I sleep, I've been saying their names over and over. Alby, Winston, Chuck. It reminds me of what we used to take for granted back in the glade; the sun shining over a new day, the wild yells of bonfire night and you.
I always hoped despite the fact you always said you loved us all equally, that perhaps you felt something more for me as I have always felt for you. Alas, your heart wasn't mine to take, it was made for Gally. I want you to be happy, you deserve it, whether it's with Gally or without but I don't want you to waste your future because it's not just your future, it's ours. As long as you're living your life, I'm not gone. So I need you to live again, I know what you and Gally have is special, don't let it fade away. Thank you for showing me how to live. Goodbye my love Newt x
GALLY'S POV
I made my way to the med hut, grumbling as I remembered Minho and Frypan shoving me out despite my protests, while Thomas blocked the entrance.
FLASHBACK
"I need to be there when she wakes up!"I struggled against them.
"Gally, you smell worse than a sewer. She's going to faint when she smells you, especially if you're sitting right next to her"Minho groaned as he pulled me further away from the hut.
"You need a shower man!"I ripped my arm out of their grasp as Frypan panted.
"I'll shower when I know she's okay!"I ran back to Thomas"Out of my way Thomas"
"No Gally. This is for your own good"He tackled me, knocking me over"She'll be fine for a couple of minutes while you shower and eat"I stopped struggling as I fell back against the sand, weak and exhausted.
"She was shot right in front of me, how can I leave her alone anymore?"I said, staring up at the sky.
"She's not alone, Gally. We're finally safe"Minho helped me sit up."And besides, _______ doesn't need protection, she needs common sense not to dive head first into danger"I chuckled at this and stood up.
"Fine. I'll shower but I'm eating here"They nodded in agreement and I glanced back to the hut as we walked away"She's going to be okay"
FLASHBACK
I pushed past the veil and my heart dropped when I saw the empty bed. I turned around, sprinting to where Thomas was standing, staring out onto the sea.
"She's gone!"I grabbed him by the shoulders, my words coming out jumbled due to my panic"I looked in the hut and she-she is just gone. Thom-"
"Gally! Breathe!"He pushed me off him"_______ is fine. She woke up while you were resting. She's right over there"He pointed to a small ridge overlooking the sea where a figure was seated.
"Right okay"I calmed down, breathing deeply"Thanks"I waved him away as I made my way to the ridge. As I approached, I felt a sense of deja vu when I saw her shoulders shaking as she stared at the horizon. Just like before, I felt I should walk away but she turned to me before I could.
"Gally"Her voice was hoarse and her normally bright _____ eyes were dull and rimmed red.
"Hey _______"I awkwardly sat down next to her while she wiped away her tears. I noticed the tubular pendant around her neck and the tear stained letter in her hands, with Newt's distinct handwriting. I looked away, unsure what to say"How are you feeling?"
"Physically? Fine"She answered"Mentally? Like shit"She scoffed"How have you been? I heard you wouldn't leave me alone"She looked at me with soft smile.
"Yeah, well it was my fault you got hurt"I muttered, my cheeks turning red"I should have seen that bullet coming"
"Gally, no"She sat closer to me, shaking her head"It was my stupidity that got me hurt and you know what"She looked down, slowly interlocking her fingers with mine before looking back at me"I would take a bullet for you every day of my life"
"What about Newt?"I found myself blurting and I wanted to punch my brain as her eyes flashed with pain while she removed her hand from mine"It's just I know he had feelings for you and you clearly felt something back"I rambled.
"And you know this how?"She asked me, her gaze intense.
"Oh come off it _______"I scoffed"You weren't exactly hiding it, what with the constant hand holding and lovesick glances"My fists curling while I spat this out"I've known from the start that you weren't really mine to love. I shouldn't have come back, I should have died-"I was cut off when she kissed me suddenly, pulling away before I fully registered what happened.
"I forgot just how dim you can be"She gasped, holding onto my shirt"Gally, hear me out and don't interrupt alright?"I nodded, still speechless"Yes, I cared for Newt more differently than I cared for the others and yes maybe if you hadn't come back, something might have happened between us"I opened my mouth but she held up her finger"But I also know that seeing you again was the day my soul came alive once more. Newt knew this and because he loved me, he knew I would only be truly happy with you. You have and always will be the world for me. I love you Gally"She finished softly.
"I'm sorry for all the hurt I've put you through sweetheart"I cupped her face gently"I always hoped I would find you alive and we could start over again. That things could be different."
"Well, this is our chance, my love"She held her hand over mine, smiling"I don't ever want to be apart from you again Gally"
"I'll never let that happen _______. I promise"I smiled. We slowly leaned in and kissed properly. I felt my heart soar as I pulled her closer, savouring her natural taste of sweetness, a taste which couldn't be found anywhere else. After months without her, I was dying to have more but I pulled away with reluctance. Her eyes remained closed for a second before she opened them with slight confusion.
"Is something wrong?"She asked, her eyebrows knitting in confusion.
"Everything's fine"I run my thumb across her cheek"I just want to savour our time together"She blushed at that and slid her arms around my chest, crawling into my lap as we faced the sea.
"I like the sound of that"She smiled as I held her close, placing her head on my shoulder. I kissed her forehead and slipped my hand into hers.
"Our forever starts today"
THE END!

How to Know if your Cat Adores You!
genre: established relationship!au, college student!Felix, (VERY fluffy!)
pairing/s: Felix / Reader (changbin and lee know make cameos)
word count: 2k+
tw: none this is pure soft Felix hours
a/n: PLS READ THIS ok so I wanted to try something different instead of a full length one-shot this is more of like a short?? thing??? that I got inspired by after reading this article about cats n I realized . Felix has big kitten behaviour... so yes that’s that, I actually had an idea for a au based on this where the reader works part time at a cute lil doggie cafe and Felix teaches part time at a dance studio nearby... but yes that will most likely be a bulleted au which I might turn into a full length one-shot in the future but for now it’ll just be bulleted,,, heh anyway, enjoy!!
1. Offering a slow blink
You never noticed how much Felix behaved like a cat until one day at work, when Minho was gushing to you about the cat he’d spotted while on the way to work, the conversation developing into a ‘why aren’t we a cat cafe instead?’ Kind of conversation, with Minho freely divulging to you unique behavioural traits that cats displayed.
“You know,” he began, “if your cat gives you a slow blink, like this,” he demonstrated, awfully resembling a cat which only made you wonder just how much time he spent imitating them.
“It means that they’re really comfortable with you and that they trust you. Like, they’re basically telling you they love you!” He told you. Thinking about it again, you couldn’t help but think of Felix displaying such behaviour.
The first time you noticed it, you were at a friend’s house. You weren’t one to attend parties very often, the only reason why you would was if you were going with your friends, not feeling comfortable or confident enough to explore the party scene on your own. In this case, Felix was the reason for your attendance.
You’d heard from Changbin that the boy was upstairs.
“I wouldn’t suggest you go up there, though. He’s been pretty moody after a unpleasant run-in with one of his student’s parents at the dance studio,” Changbin warned.
You knew about this, having heard from the receptionist when you’d gone to meet Felix after one of his classes, wondering what had him in such an unenergetic mood, a contrast to his usual demeanour.
“But then again, I feel like he’d want to see you more than the rest of us, so I guess you could give it a shot,” Changbin added as an afterthought, taking a sip of his beer after.
“Give what a shot?” You asked, glancing in your cup and wondering if you should refill your cup before you went to find Felix.
“Cheering him up.”
You let out a nervous sigh, nodding at Changbin (who gave you a reassuring nod), making your way to the kitchen to grab a beer for Felix and yourself before you padded lightly upstairs. Felix’s door was open, so you figured he was on the rooftop. Your suspicions proved right when you opened the door to the rooftop, spotting Felix lying on the planked floor, his eyes closed and arms splayed out at his sides.
You could tell he had a few drinks, a few empty cans littered next to him, and you knew Felix’s tolerance wasn’t that great as well, hence his current state.
“Hey,” you murmured, “am I interrupting your yoga session?” you attempted to joke, something inside you feeling triumphant at the way he huffed, a hint of a smile appearing on his face.
“I brought you a drink,” you murmured, taking a seat next to him and resting your weight on your hands, stretching your legs out in front of you as you enjoyed the view from his rooftop. The lights from the other houses and buildings shining brightly as the night air grew cooler.
“Thanks,” Felix’s voice came out barely as a whisper, making him clear his throat, accepting the drink from you with a grateful nod.
You let out a content sigh, taking a bigger gulp of your drink before placing it down, trying to look as far as you could.
“I heard what happened at the studio,” you told him.
Felix was seated now, letting out a loud sigh at the mention of the studio, taking a small sip of his drink before placing it in between his outstretched legs, fiddling with the neck of the bottle as he nodded.
“You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to. That’s not what I came up here for, just figured you could use some company,” you told him.
Felix felt something in his heart stir at your words, your gesture, turning to you with the slightest pout on his lips, picking up his drink to take a long swig before placing it down with a soft thud, his soft gaze never leaving yours.
Something in him in that moment had decided that you were someone he wanted to keep by his side, and you weren’t sure if it was the slow nature of the atmosphere you both were in, but you couldn’t help yourself from feeling absolutely endeared when Felix had simply slowly blinked, his eyes squinting slightly as he did so, giving you a small nod after that.
You were snapped from your daze when he’d shifted away from you slightly, wondering if he was ready to head back downstairs.
Felix shocked you when he’d started to lean down, resting his head on your lap, closing his eyes once again as he focused on the sheer comfort your presence was giving him.
“Thank you….again,” he murmured, his deep voice even more pronounced with how leisurely he was speaking, slightly muffled by the fabric of your pants.
“For being here.”
You were glad his eyes were closed, looking away and pressing your lips together to try to contain your smile, giving up all together and simply smiling as you shook your head. You hummed, not trusting your voice to answer him, simply choosing to bring a hand up to play with his hair, smoothing it over where it had gotten messy from his movement.
2. Hanging out in your space
“I feel like people are too used to the idea of lap cats that sometimes they forget that some cats are really just satisfied by being in the same space as you,” Minho told you on another occasion, making you laugh.
“That reminds me of Felix,” you laughed, not expecting Minho to ask you to elaborate.
You recalled how whenever you hung out at either of your houses, sometimes you would tell him you were busy with work, so you wouldn’t be able to entertain him as much. But Felix always insisted that it was okay, even if that meant spending hours just lounging on your bed doing his own thing while you were sat at your desk doing your work.
It wasn’t as if you hadn’t asked him before, “Are you sure you’re not bored?”, or something similar, afraid that you were being a bad host.
To which he would always shake his head, giving you a wide grin and waving his hands at you dismissively, “It’s really fine,” he would tell you.
You remembered one particular incident, (which Minho would never let Felix live down after you told him), where Felix had fallen asleep on the sofa while you watched movies, deciding that you would shift over to your room so as not to wake him up. Only to have Felix come into your room shortly after just to curl up against you and resume his sleep.
“Is the sound bothering you?” You asked him, feeling him snuggle closer into your side, shaking his head.
3. Cheek rubs
“You know, now that you’re bringing Felix up, I’m kind of seeing it too,” Minho hummed thoughtfully, seeming to have been in deep thought after your story about Felix enjoying being in others company.
You tilted your head curiously, “as in, how he behaves like a cat?” You asked.
Minho nodded.
You were only noticing now how sometimes when Felix came over after teaching a class, once he’d showered and changed, practically bouncing over to where you were and hugging you.
It didn’t matter what you were doing, you could be in the middle of watching a movie, or in the middle of pouring a drink for yourself, he would never fail to wrap his arms around you, rubbing his cheek against yours in an affectionate gesture.
Felix’s way of expressing how much he missed you.
But it wasn’t always like this. Felix had worried endlessly about how to show his affection for you in a way that wouldn’t scare you off, since he did realise you didn’t really initiate skinship, having the same worry as him on whether he would be comfortable with it.
The first time he’d done it to you, you were sitting in between his legs as you watched a video on your laptop, resting comfortably against Felix’s chest as his arms were loosely wrapped around you, his cheek pressed against the side of your head lightly.
You’d felt him shift slightly, pressing a soft kiss to the side of your head before he leant closer, snuggling into you as he rubbed his cheek against yours, the gesture eliciting giggles from you and warmth bubbling within you.
You’d obviously never had anyone do that to you before, turning to him with a curious expression, smiling in awe of his sudden affection.
“Where did that come from?” You asked him, earning a grin from him, watching as he shook his head, continuing to watch the show on your laptop.
“Just…felt like it,” he murmured, hint of shyness in his tone as he tapped your thigh, eager to get your gaze off of him lest he started to blush. “Focus on the show! I don’t wanna rewind it if you miss the good parts,” he lied.
Shaking your head, you rolled your eyes, reluctantly tearing your gaze away from the freckles on his cheeks, “yeah, yeah. Whatever.”
4. Head butts and lying on you
“You know,” Minho burst into a fit of giggles before he could finish his sentence, looking at you with a pained expression, his laughter bubbling from him as he tried to talk in the midst of his laughter.
“Felix told me once, that your stomach is really comfortable,” he snickered, making your eyes widen. Your mouth fell open, wanting to dismiss his statement when Changbin had interjected.
“Yeah! I remember him saying that!”
You groaned, your hands instinctively going to cover your stomach, glaring at Minho, yet unable to conceal your endearment at the thought of Felix.
You were minding your own business, lying on his bed and using your phone as you took a break from playing games with him, your attention drawn away from your phone when Felix had tossed his headphones onto his desk with a loud thud, getting up and spotting you on the bed, making his way over to you with a cheeky smile on his face.
“I should be spending time with you instead of playing games when you’re right here, shouldn’t I?” He laughed, hovering over you and nuzzling his head into your stomach, making you laugh.
“Is it that comfortable?” You laughed in disbelief, feeling him rest his palms on your stomach, resting his chin gently on top of his hands as he nodded, giving you a closed-eyed smile of content.
“Yes,” he told you. “Like my own personal pillow,” he added as an afterthought, giggling when you moved to swat at him.
You sighed, Felix turning his head to the side as he lay on top of you, hugging you tightly.
“Are you free tomorrow?” He asked you, earning an affirmative hum from you.
“Yeah, why?”
“Can I take you out? It’s been a while since we actually went out to do something…” he murmured.
“Of course you can,” you smiled, almost laughing when you felt him grasp one of your hands, bringing it up to rest on his head, a silent request for you to play with his hair.
“Just…was thinking about it and I felt like I wanted to spend more time talking to you, doing things with you. I’m starting to realise how important that is.”
You hoped he wouldn’t notice the way your breath hitched, unsure how it was possible but knowing that in that moment your love for him grew tenfold.
“We can do that,” you assured him, and Felix let his eyes flutter closed as your hand pat his head soothingly, relaxing in your embrace.
5. Visiting you for nighttime cuddles
“You look extra lively today, any reason behind that?” Minho narrowed his eyes at Felix who had just bounded through the doors of the dog cafe, turning to you as if you were obligated to tell him the reason behind Felix’s good mood.
“Had a great sleep,” Felix shrugged, and you rang up his usual order for him, shaking your head at the memory of last night.
You were surprised Felix had mentioned having a good sleep, since you remembered the conversation you had the night before about whether choosing music as a career path was the right choice for him, comments from others about how it would be hard to earn a living and whatnot starting to get to him, leaving Felix worried that he wouldn’t be able to support himself (and you, he hoped) in his future.
You’d spent hours talking to him (5 hours to be exact), going into the early morning just to make sure that Felix wouldn’t go to sleep feeling heavy hearted.
After a while of giving advice and perspectives, you were getting a sensing that he was starting to feel a little better.
“You know I don’t care about that,” you told Felix firmly after he’d brought up salary to you.
“I’m not with you for how much money you’re gonna make, and you know that.” You laughed, earning an embarrassed groan from him, his fingers fiddling with your hand, pressing his fingertips against the tips of your nails and releasing them, just to watch the shallow indents of crescent moons on his fingertips slowly disappear.
“What matters to me the most is that you enjoy doing it. Whatever it is, I’ll support you,” you felt awfully like someone in a cheesy romantic novel, but you hoped he could sense how genuine you were being, watching intently as he turned to you with an unreadable expression.
Felix’s lips slowly curved into a soft smile, nodding at you. Shifting himself further up on the bed, he’d opened his arms wide as a signal for you to come and hug him, making you laugh.
It was a habit of his, wanting (or more accurately, needing) to be close to a person after pouring his innermost thoughts and feelings to them, something you were glad he was comfortable enough with you to do.
He’d stayed the whole night like that, well, it couldn’t be called a night, you’d both had to get up earlier for work that morning, but you figured maybe that was why Felix’s mood was a lot better today, and you were glad you were able to play a part in that.
Felix had clung to you the entire duration of his sleep, waking up with a giddy smile on his face, a contrary to his usual too-tired-to-function dazed look.
“You only had 4 hours of sleep,” you scoffed, pushing his drink over the counter for him, making him shrug, turning to Minho with an exaggerated expression of satisfaction.
“It was a great 4 hours.”
You rolled your eyes, shooing him away.
“I’ll see you after work,” he waved energetically, jogging out of the café.
Minho turned to you with an expectant expression, “I'm guessing someone woke up on the right side of the bed this morning?”
You shrugged, turning to him with a curious expression.
“Do cats ask for nighttime cuddles too?”

SHINee’s reaction to seeing their s/o after their enlistment
(minho’s almost getting discharged! That got me thinking and can I please request how they’ll react to seeing their s/o after their enlistment?)
Requested by anon
- Thank you for getting back to me. I just wanted to ask to make sure before I posted anything. I kept it ot5 as usual~ ❤️
(also fair warning to mvps... you’ll see)
Taemin:
The army had been a bit of a roller-coaster for Taemin. There were good days when he really enjoyed himself and bad days when he had a lot of worries or missed the people close to him. He told you all about it whenever you spoke on the phone or had the chance to meet in person and you would always listen attentively and offer your best advice.
When his official discharge date arrived he felt very relieved and proud of himself. He also felt immensely happy to be able to see and be with you again, since one thing he had realized while being away was how much you truly meant to him.
When he saw you welcome him back along with his loved ones and close friends he would practically be beaming and not be shy to attack you in a hug and tell you how much he loves you.
It definitely made you feel a bit shy but you would forget about that, since you were so happy to see him, and say the same words back and share a lot of skin-ship with him, even in front of his family, the rest of SHINee and all your common friends.
After all, your one and only soldier was finally back and you had missed him dearly.
Minho:
When his discharge date was getting closer, Minho spent most of his final days in the army thinking about the future and everything he wanted to do from now on.
A lot of his thoughts circled around you. Perhaps, as you two being apart helped him realize how badly he wanted to start a life with you. A life where you would live together, get married and also have kids one day.
The thought of it made him smile fondly and he felt excited to discuss it with you once he was officially released. It wouldn’t be something you hadn’t mentioned before, only you had put that all on hold because of his service. When it was over, he wished for you to start your lives for real and not waste any time.
On the day of his discharge he would smile brightly the moment he saw you and not hold back from locking you in his arms and then spin you around as if the two of you were in a romantic drama.
It caught you off guard but also made you laugh and hug him back tightly.
“You really have no idea how much I love you y/n.” he told you when he finally put you down again and then leaned in to connect your lips in a romantic kiss.
Key:
During his time in the army both of you had done your best to keep in touch in any way that you could. It was mostly over the phone, either by normal calls or face-time calls. You also met whenever he was able to, although it wasn’t enough for either of your liking. He missed you dearly and would sulk whenever you had to part ways.
He told you that he made a lot of new friends and generally had a really good time but you still felt worried, especially when he seemed to get skinnier for every time you met him.
When he was finally discharged and you were able to meet he looked drastically different from when he initially enlisted and it made you pout.
“Didn’t they feed you enough? Why are you this skinny? Are you okay?”
Key would just smile and pull you into a tight and needy hug. “I missed you too y/n.”
“Yah, I’m serious.” you mumbled into his chest and hugged him back with a soft sigh. “Let’s visit a lot of restaurants, okay? It’s my treat so you better eat a lot!”
“We can go any place you want.” he said and placed a kiss at the top of your head before pulling away so he could cup your face and kiss your lips, which he had yearned to do for a long while.
Jonghyun:
Jonghyun didn’t like to be away from you. In fact, the long-distance relationship you had endured for the past 20 months had really taken a toll on him and your relationship.
The fact that it was finally coming to an end made him feel very relieved and happy. He could hardly wait to be able to see and talk to you whenever he wanted to on his own terms, without anything standing in your way.
However, what he wanted to do most was hug you and simply have you close to him. While you had been able to talk a lot on the phone you hadn’t been able to meet often or share a lot of skin-ship and he couldn’t describe how much he had missed it.
When he finally laid eyes on you on his day of release he instantly pouted and walked into your open arms. He then brought you very close and emitted a sigh of relief at the comfort it brought him.
“Okay, can’t breath.” you mumbled into his chest with a soft laugh.
He then loosened his grip a bit but didn’t let go, he wouldn’t do so any time soon.
“I love you y/n and I don’t ever want to be apart from you again.” he whispered and shifted a bit to be able to lean in and kiss you.
Onew:
His time in the army had been a good experience overall but it had been hard to be away from his loved ones and especially from you.
You had kept in touch by sending letters back and forth and also by occasionally being able to speak on the phone or meet in person when he had days off. None of that had really been enough, though, since he had still missed you a lot.
On the day of his official release you held a small party for him along with the rest of SHINee and his family, which he enjoyed but what he yearned for most was to be alone with you.
At the end of the night when everyone left you remained and he would hug you tightly and also give you a long and passionate kiss.
It surprised you at first but you responded to it and allowed him to lift you off your feet into his arms and move to the bed where you kissed and cuddled for a while, since you hadn’t been able to do so in a long time.
He felt happy and relieved to finally be able to hold you in his arms again and wouldn’t let go of you for the rest of the night.
“I really missed you a lot y/n.” he said with a long sigh and hugged you close to his chest.

The Real Truth.
Mia + Stray Kids
mia finally tells the rest of the group about her future plans and in the end mia finds out how chan truly feels with her doing activities outside of stray kids.
hope you guys enjoy! please feel free to leave some feedback because it is always appreciated!
[9th Member of Stray Kids]
Mia took a deep breath as she paced around in her room. In a couple of seconds she was going to go out in the living room and tell the rest of her members about her plans with Elsy. She didn’t know exactly how she was going to tell them and also how the others would react. Mia wanted them to know the news as soon as possible.
In the end, all she wanted was their full support because all of this was new to her.
“Okay.” Mia breathed out, coming out of her room and entering the living room.
Changbin and Felix were in the kitchen cooking while Minho and Hyunjin were sat on the table. Mia took one glance at them and they noticed she looked nervous. The both of them knew what Mia was going to do, so they each gave her a thumbs up in approval.
It slightly made her feel at ease, knowing that right now two of them were showing support in her. Without wasting another second, Mia began talking to catch their attention. “Um, can I talk to all of you?”
“What is it?” Changbin questioned as he walked closer to the girl.
They had all gathered in the living room, giving Mia their full attention as she stood in front of them. She bit her lip just a little as she tried gathering her thoughts. “I’m just gonna go out and say it. I am going to participate in a girl project the contains Elsy and I.”
Silence filled the room as all boys stared at Mia. Hyunjin and Minho were the only ones who were smiling, already knowing the news.
Chan was the first to say something as he looked at the girl confused. “You’re doing a what?”
“A girl project. With Elsy and I.” Mia said again.
“What does that it even mean, what exactly are you doing?”
“It’s going to be us making a song together and we’re going to promote it... together.”
Jisung looked at Chan then back at Mia. “Will it just be a song you’re doing?”
Mia shook her head, causing Chan to lift an eyebrow. He glanced at Changbin and made a face expression, signaling if he knew anything about this. Changbin was quick to shrug his shoulders as he shook his head no as well.
“No, well the song will be the title track-“
“Title track?” Chan questioned. “As in there’s more to this?”
“Yes.” Mia nodded. “There’s going to be an album and music video involved.”
Almost everyone’s eyes turned wide. “So you’re basically re-debuting, except with Elsy as a duo?” Changbin questioned.
“Basically, yeah.” Mia said softly. She brought her eyes to Chan, who was facing the other way, not even looking at Mia. Although she couldn’t see it, she could already telling he wasn’t taking the news so well.
“Listen, I’m not asking for much and I’ve been debating back and forth on how to tell you guys this because I was scared on how you guys would take it, but all I’m asking for is for your support.” Mia said. “This is all new to me and I’ve never done things without you guys but yeah, that’s just all I want-“
“How long have you known about this?” Chan then spoke up again.
“Um, around the first week of promotion.”
Chan’s eyes narrowed at Mia as he furrowed his eyebrows. “And you decide to tell us this now?”
“Well yeah, because at the time I didn’t know whether I wanted to do it or not-“
“And went ahead and decided yes, without talking to us?”
Changbin began hearing the way Chan’s tone in voice was changing in every word he spoke, causing Mia to become nervous. “Hey, tone it down will you?”
Chan simply ignored him and continued to stare at Mia. “I talked to Hyunjin and Minho about it-“
“And it didn’t cross your mind to talk to us as well?”
“Yes, of course, but I was nervous on how you guys would react which is why I went to them first. And I wanted to tell you guys when everything was settled for this project.”
“So you can’t get out of it?”
“No.” Mia shook her head. “Why would I even do that? We already had a meeting for all of this.”
“You already had a meeting?” Chan asked standing up. “So all this time while we’ve been promoting, you’ve been planning on something else aside from us?”
“N-no.” Mia stuttered. “Well, kind of, but we’re barely on the beginning of planning. Which is why I wanted to tell you guys now instead of keeping it a-“
“Secret.” Chan finished Mia’s sentence, crossing his arms. “You didn’t want to keep it a secret.”
The whole room became silent as Mia looked down at her feet. This was exactly what she had feared happening.
“That’s enough.” Changbin said, standing up as well. “I don’t get how you can act like that towards your own member.”
“I just find it odd how she promised no more secrets but when ahead and hid this one.”
“I wasn’t hiding anything!” Mia snapped. “I only kept this for myself for a little while because I know how you tend to get! Which is exactly what you’re doing right now!”
Minho sighed. “Here we go again.” He whispered to Hyunjin.
“Can we talk about this, in private?” Chan asked. The last thing he wanted was to cause a scene in front of the members.
“Fine.”
Chan was the first to move, walking until he was in his room.
“If it makes you feel any better, we’re definitely going to support you.” Jeongin smiled, trying to cheer Mia up. The rest of the group agreed with him.
“Thanks guys.” Mia softly smiled. She took one glance at Changbin, who smiled back at her, before walking into Chan’s room.
“Alright Bang, what is it that you want to talk about?”
“I just don’t know how to feel about this, I mean how do you expect me to support you when you’re still keeping secrets.”
Mia glared at Chan, her eyes were beginning to get teary as she got more irritated by him. “I was not keeping secrets, Chan! And honestly the only secret I have kept from you is Changbin and I dating! You’re acting as if I’m this horrible person that’s constantly lying. Which is exactly why I didn’t even come to you in the first place because I know how you get!”
“I just.” Chan sighed. “I just don’t want you to go through with this.”
Mia closed her eyes shut as a few tears slipped. She was both angry and upset. “Why?” She choked up. “Why can’t you just be happy for me? I’m actually really excited about this project and I want your support, Chan. Why do you have to act like this?”
“I... don’t know.”
“No, you do know!” Mia began talking louder again. “You constantly attack me when it comes to this type of stuff and I want to know why!”
Chan became silent which made Mia get more irritated by the second. “Why, Chan?!”
“Because I know you don’t need us!”
Mia was taken back by his sudden outburst, causing her to move back a bit. She furrowed her eyebrows. “What is that supposed to mean? Of course I need you guys, you guys are my team.”
Chan sighed, sitting on his bed and patted for Mia to take a sit next to him. He knew Mia had every right to know how he truly feels.
“Truth is, the reason why I get like this is because I know you don’t need us. You’re a very talented person who can literally do it all. With us, or if you were in another group or solo artist, you always shine because there’s just something special about you.” He swallowed. “Remember when I asked you to be in the group?”
Mia nodded. “Yeah, you looked like a stalker when you were peaking through the window before you asked me.”
The two let out a small laugh. “Beside the point.” Chan sighed as he gathered what he wanted to say. “I know you were a bit hesitant when saying yes to me which made me do everything I could to make you comfortable when joining the team because I didn’t want you and still don’t want you to have any regrets about your decision. Because I know you basically threw being in Itzy down the drain.
“Chan.” Mia spoke softly as more tears began to spill down her face. “I don’t have any regrets, I love being with you guys. You guys are literally everything to me and I couldn’t imagine my life without any of you in it. Saying yes to you was the best decision I ever made.”
The older boy let out a deep breath after hearing Mia’s words. “God, I feel horrible. I did it again.”
“I guess I’m just really insecure about this because what if you end up liking this more than when being with us? I don’t want you to leave us, you are so important to this group that we would be incomplete without you. I remember telling the others we were missing something and thank god I found you.”
“You loser, I’m not going anywhere. You guys are stuck with me forever.” Mia laughed, she went in for a side hug. “The second you put me in this group I made a commitment and have always tried to prove myself that I was worthy enough to be here.”
Now it was Chan who was taken back from Mia’s words. “You’ll always be worthy enough, Mia.”
Mia let out a sigh. “I don’t want to argue anymore, I hate when we do this. It’s pointless.”
“Me either. I will say we have gotten better at actually talking it out.”
“We have.” Mia smiled.
There was a comfortable silence between the two as they continued to hug each other before Chan spoke up again. “How did this project even come about?”
“It was Elsy’s idea. Jyp offered her a solo project but gave him the idea of us two working together instead and he loved the idea.”
Chan swallowed hard. “It was her idea?”
“Mhm.” Mia hummed.
“Hm, how great.” Chan said, slowly growing irritated.
Mia didn’t seem to notice the way Chan had said it sarcastically. “You should talk to her.” Mia said. “She misses you.”
“Yeah, I think I will.”

a/n: I this because I wanted a scenario for each member. Hope you enjoy 😊 also the last 3 got a bit short sorry..
genre: fluff
wordcount: 2.4k
warnings: ddlg content // sfw this isnt really a warning but it's all little space scenarios
ㅡ
Bang Chan
You knew Chan had been having it hard lately, comebacks and all giving him a hard time. His sleep schedule was quite wacky and when he did finally get to sleep, he'd often wake up to nightmares. They made him very anxious throughout the day.
When you were in little space, you didn't understand much of what was going on which Chan knew very well. He made sure to take care of you, and when nightmares occurred he'd keep them as hidden as possible. But when you were in big space you listened to what was on his mind and comforted him when needed.
Tonight was the first night he was sleeping at yours in a long time, and your little self was very excited for cuddles with your daddy. You spent the whole day playing and cuddling and watching Winnie Pooh. And when it came to bed time, you had your paci in your mouth and your favourite stuffie at hand. Chan made sure to give you a kiss on the forehead as he slipped in with you. Your body close to his as you drifted off together.
At around 3am Chan shot up, sweat drenched and breathing heavily. He tried to keep quiet, sobbing to himself silently before feeling your small hands stroke his bare back.
"Daddy.. are you okay?", you asked, slightly clueless in your little form.
Chan choked out a small yes, trying to control himself. Wiping the tears from his face only for them to be replaced with new ones as he remembered the dream.
You pulled his body to yours, holding his head to your chest and stroking his hair as he finally let his whimpers out. You tugged him gently, holding his curled up form in your eyes and calming him.
"I-I'm sorry babygirl… I should be the strong one in the relationship. I shouldn't be like.. like this."
You chuckled gently, kissing his forehead like he'd always do when you felt bad.
"It's okay daddy, I know that littles has to look after their daddies just as much as they look after us. What kind of a girlfriend would I be if I didn't look after you either.. hm?"
Chan looked up at you, brushing a thumb over your cheek lightly.
"Thank you, kitten. You're truly the best little girl anyone could ever wish for.."
Lee Minho
Minho was worried over the past few days. You hadn't been in little space in a few weeks and your stress levels were extremely high with exams and assignments stacked on top of each other. You never took any time for yourself and devoted everything to your school work.
Though after nearly a month, Minho had enough. He went to the shop and got you some banana milk and candies you liked to have when you were little. At home he then arranged a small snack set up, wanting to have a movie night with you. He'd get you there somehow whether you liked it or not.
Minho then slowly approached your office, knocking before going in, only to see you in the same position you had been in hours ago.
"Kitten?" he asked, testing the waters to see if you would slip any time soon.
"Mh." you answered, making him frown.
"Baby, let's get you out of this room. Huh? You've been sat in here for basically days and I really miss my little girl. Let's have a movie night with cuddles?"
You furrowed your eyebrows, having to reread the sentence from before Minhos disturbance another two times.
"I can't right now, Minho I-", you were cut off by your boyfriend grabbing your chin and tugging it to make you look into his eyes.
"What did you just call me, hm?" Minho asked.
"I-I.. I'm sorry daddy.." you muttered, trying to avoid eye contact. Yet that only made Minho grab your chin harder and focus your eyes on him.
"And have you forgotten our rules, little Kit? What is rule number 1, hm?"
"Kitten must always look after herself no matter the circumstances…" you whispered.
"Louder." Minho commanded you, making your eyes well up as you slowly began to slip into your small headspace.
"Kitten must always look after herself no matter the circumstances… I'm sorry daddy." you said as you started crying.
You felt your boyfriend's arms wrap around your body and pull you into a hug before picking you up and rocking you to calm your sobs down again.
"Does my baby want to put on her onesie, get her paci and watch some movies with daddy?" Minho asked, knowing the answer.
"Mhm, please dada." you choked out, hiding your face in Minho's neck.
"And, kitten?"
"Mh?"
"You're a very good girl. Okay? I love you so much little one."
"I love you too daddy." you giggled, kissing your beloved daddy on the cheek.
Seo Changbin
Changbin had been whining about certain foods all week long, wanting to eat a homemade beef roast or some pork belly with delicious side dishes.
And that's what you wanted to do for him in big space today.
It had been a while since you had reached full grown up space, and now that you were there you really wanted to please your boyfriend with some nice food. You got all your supplies ready and started cooking, cutting up veggies and tossing them into a pan to roast them.
Then you wanted to cut up the cooked meat, shuffling through the drawers looking for the biggest, sharpest knife you could find (which you used for meat whenever you did cook).
You smiled when you finally found it, going back to the counter to cut up your meat. You got half way through when a loud gasp from the doorway surprised you.
"Princess! What on earth are you doing with a knife in your hands?!" Changbin screeched, pacing over and taking the knife out of your hands to which you started feeling small again.
"Huh? Daddy.. I'm a big girl though I just wanted to cook for you.."
Changbin shook his head, putting the knife to the side and hugging you close to his body.
"No no, you are my small little princess that I love with all my heart. So tiny and pretty. Hm? And little princesses don't use knives. Understood?"
You blushed, hiding your face behind your hands as you slipped into your small mindset.
"mhm! yes daddy.. I understand!" you giggled, pulling Changbin into an embrace.
Hwang Hyunjin
"Angel, are you done getting ready?" Hyunjin asked, checking his watch quickly.
"Mhm, here I am daddy." you said, skipping up to him in a casual outfit.
"Perfect." he muttered, holding out his hand for you to grab, which you did, as you started the walk to the grocery store a few blocks down.
"Alright, princess, what did we need again?" he asked. Of course he knew everything but it made you feel very responsible when you could count up the items on the shopping list.
"Nuggies, strawberry milk and daddy's grown up cereal." you said, taking a skip every few steps excitedly.
"That's right! Good girl."
You walked a little longer, talking about fun things you did with your studies until he had arrived home. After some time you finally arrived at the store and began walking around with a basket, searching for your items.
"Okay baby, can you go get my cereal and I'll get your milk?" you nodded, skipping off in the direction of the cereals.
You looked up and down, not being able to find it until you got to the last shelf. You tried to get it, only then to realise how high up the shelf actually was. After a few tries, and multiple failures you gave up only to hear a chuckle from beside you.
You looked up to see Hyunjin, coming up beside you and effortlessly grabbing the box, chucking it into the basket.
"What's so funny?" you pouted, ready knowing what he was about to say.
"Nothing sweetie. I just think it's really cute how short you are!"
"H-hey! I'm not short at all!" you said, fake anger lacing your voice as you crossed your arms.
Hyunjin just proceeded to kiss your forehead and take your hand to keep you moving along.
"Yes you are, my short little baby." he chuckled, patting your head. You looked up at him angrily which made him laugh out loud.
Instead of doing nothing, you retorted by calling him a giraffe.
"I-, hey that's not nice. Get here!" he said as you began to run away. He laughed, searching through the aisles to find you.
"I'll get you some day shortie!" he mumbled, a large smile on his face.
Han Jisung
You sat up quick, sweat gathering on your cupid's bow as you awoke from another nightmare.
It had been a long time since you last had one, and it made everything worse when you looked to the left only to see your boyfriend gone.
"D-daddy..?" you muttered, tears gathering in your eyes as you grabbed your quokka stuffie and searched for your caregiver.
As soon as you left the bedroom, you could tell where he was. A crack of light shining through his office door. You walked over and pushed it open to see Jisung sat there, hunched over his laptop with papers lying around everywhere.
When you pushed the door open fully, it creaked loudly making Jisung whip around to see your figure stood before him.
"What are doing up so late, baby? Wasn't it bed time a few hours ago?" he asked, pulling you onto his lap as you shuffled over.
"I was asleep! I just woke up.."
"Why don't you go back to bed? Daddy will be there in a minute, hm?" he asked, and you instantly shook your head no.
"I don't want to sleep anymore.. sleep is bad dada."
"Why? What happened sweetie?" he asked, stroking your hair.
"I had a nightmare.." you whispered, snuggling your face into the crook of his neck.
"Oh baby, you can stay here then. If you need a nap just take one on my lap. I'll finish this up and when we get back to bed daddy will be there to keep you safe. Alright?"
You nodded, a smile gracing your face as you snuggled into him more searching for good dreams to fall asleep to again.
"Good night, babygirl."
Lee Felix
Felix had a hard time getting sleep lately. He'd often wake up for no reason and when trying to get back to sleep it deemed impossible without you by his side.
That's why this week turned out much easier for him. He slept through nearly every night. Apart from one.
Felix's eyes slowly opened as he stretched out, checking the time on his phone to see it was only 2am.
He sighed, tossing and turning a bit before looking toward your sleeping figure.
He really didn't mean to wake you up when he tried snuggling into your arms. It just happened.
"Huh? Can't sleep, daddy?" you sleeping muttered.
He nodded his head as you brought your hand up to play with his hair gently.
"Mhm, I really need my baby to hold me, you know?" he muttered, getting comfortable in your embrace.
You kissed his forehead as he always did to you and held him close to your chest, continuing to stroke his hair.
"Get some rest." you mumbles as you both drifted off.
He finally fell asleep, smiling in the comfort of your arms.
Kim Seungmin
Seungmin had just put you down to bed, giving him time to get ready on his own time. He really loved you, but he was generally always the kind of person that needed some time to himself at the end of the day.
He stripped of his clothes in the bathroom after having cleaned up most of the house, turning on the warm water of the shower and stepping under it. All tension that had built up slowly etching away.
That's when he heard the door open.
"D-daddy..?" you sobbed, making him instantly worry and pull back the shower curtain. Your trembling form before him.
He quickly wrapped a towel around his waist stepping out and pulling you into his arms.
"Sweetie, what's wrong? Anything dada can help with?" he asked, pulling you up onto the bathroom counter and brushing the tears from your face with the pads of his thumbs.
"N-no.. when will you come to bed?" you asked, looking up at him with your tear filled eyes.
"I need to finish my shower and I'll be with you instantly. Do you want to stay sat here until I'm done? So we can know everything's okay?"
You nodded, giving him a tight hug before hugging the Platypus plush that you had been holding to your chest.
Seungmin got back into the shower, going through it as quickly as possible. When he got out he slid the sweats he wanted to wear to bed on, picking you up and carrying you to bed on his hip.
"Now, let's get some good nights rest, okay? If you need anything daddy is here baby." he said, tucking the both of you in before kissing your forehead.
"I'm always going to be there for you." he muttered before you both went to sleep comfortably. All your worries washed away.
Yang Jeongin
It wasn't often you woke up before Jeongin did, but when you did you always tried your hardest to let him get his rest. You didn't like it when your daddy was grumpy.
But today you were excited. It was Easter and you really wanted to go to the Easter egg hunt they were hosting in town.
"Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!" You shouted, jumping up and down on your shared bed before falling onto Jeongin's figure, your legs placed on either side of his torso as he slowly woke up.
He gently grabbed you by the shoulders and tugged you down into a warm hug before rolling around and giving you kisses around your cheeks.
"What's this? A little monster coming to wake me up? Who is this small cutie, huh?" he chuckled, pinning you to the bed beneath him.
"It's me, daddy!" you laughed.
"Hm.. you know what happens to monsters who wake up their daddy to early?" Jeongin asked with a smirk.
You shook your head, unsure of what was to come next. Just then you felt two hands at the sides of your stomach.
"They get tickled" he exclaimed, tickling your tummy. You giggled and writhed beneath him.
"Nooo!" you said between giggles.
Jeongin just laughed, stopping to give you a kiss on the cheek.
"My cute little monster." he said, only adoration reflecting in his eyes.

Summary: Sun and Moon, different from another, but both unmissable in the world. The sun is warm, it provides daylight. It represents life, strength and growth. The moon, the brightest and largest object in our night sky. It makes the earth more liveable and represents admiration, change, mystery and feelings. The sun is untouchable and unreachable, but what if his ,independent, sun(-shine) becomes his world? Tropes: Enemies to Lovers Season: Spring Pairing: Bang Chan X Reader (ft. Seo Changbin) AU: | Delinquent!Female Reader | Vice President!Bang Chan | School!AU | Non!Idol AU | Genre: Fluff/ HEAVY Angst Word Count: 8,9K Warnings: HEAVY Themes of bullying, death threats, Themes of Abuse, swearing, insults, Anxiety, Depression, Suicidal thoughts, Self-hatred Requested: Yes, (Reference) A/n: For the sake of the fiction, Chan is a twat in the story (his mother is very unpleasant in the story/this chapter), but only for imagines/ fiction purposes only. We all know better than that. I have mentioned his real-life sibling’s names in this chapter/story. Please remember to not harass them.
Y/n was a little out of breath and her body hurt slightly as she entered Chan’s room. She sat down with a sigh, trying to take the situation in. “I’m so sorry I told my parents like that-“ “It’s okay, it probably will clear up some thing to them.” Y/n muttered as she made herself comfortable on his bed.
“I’m sorry for their behaviour, from before and about today.” “It’s okay, you know if you want me to go, I can go right now. I don’t want there to be a conflict between your parents and you because of me.” “There isn’t, really. Well at least not anymore. I just want them to see that you’re so much more than tattoos and a so called ‘delinquent image’.” Chan stressed as he sat down next to her. “Besides, you’re not leaving. I don’t trust you outside, especially not with all those fractures. God knows what you would be up to, going to work I bet and get back to working out. You need to get some rest and let me and the others help you.” He added. “You know that I’d be fine just on my own, don’t you Chan?” She said with a small smile. “I know, and that’s why I want to help you this time.”
Y/n was about to continue arguing against Chan, but something else seemed to catch her attention. Chan turned slowly around to see what she was looking at and noticed the pictures he had put up of them together. He immediately started to stutter out gibberish and frantically tried to hide them from Y/n sight, causing her to laugh at his flustered state.
“Oh my- It’s not what you think! I- fuck!” Chan stressed as he tried to slam the pictures off the shelves I panic, but he was quickly stopped by Y/n who held him by the arm as she laughed. “It’s fine, I’m just surprised. I’ve never seen those before?” She wondered with a smug look on her face. “I-I certainly do not hide them whenever you would’ve come over- what no?” He stuttered, making her burst out in laughter yet again. “You’re cute Channie.” She said with a smile, not admitting that she had pictures printed out of them together as well.
The two were interrupted hours later by Chan’s father who peeped his head through the doorway. “Dinner’s ready.” He announced, before disappearing again. Chan and Y/n quickly following behind.
Chan noticed the nervous look on Y/n face. He held her by the waist in a swift move, hugging her in a comforting way, her heart beating loudly at the sudden action. The whole family sat together, and Y/n couldn’t deny it, but it was awkward as hell. “Y/n, my husband and I want to apologise to you.” Chan’s mother voiced, breaking the silence finally. “We’ve acted needlessly rude to you and we truly regret out immature actions. I hope you can find a way to forgive us?”
“It’s okay Misses Bang. I know that you only want the best for you son. I understand and I respect that. It’s also that I’m quite used to being judged already. Especially since people don’t know my background story...” And so Y/n told the Bang family everything.
They were shocked and saddened to hear the words leaving her mouth. It all sounded like a terrible nightmare. But that terrible nightmare was her actual life, or at least was up to that day when Chan found her.
“I can’t thank him enough for finding me, I wouldn’t know what would’ve happened to me if he would’ve been later or not there at all.” Y/n muttered in a sad voice. “Let’s be glad that didn’t happen and celebrate that you’re still here with us. And Y/n, we are once again terribly sorry. We will try our best to make it up to you.” Chan’s father states with a kind smile, making her smile back.
A warm feeling was filling her body, a loving sense of family had returned to her. Something that had been long for too long.
“Chan really, I can carry my books myself.” Y/n whined as she stepped out of the car with Chan, chasing him as he carried two heavy bookbags in his arms. “No, the doctor told us crystal clear that you need someone to help you carry things. Your stiches could rip open if you aren’t careful.” Chan states seriously. She let out a whine before she followed him to the building.
The pair received lots of looks from other students. Bang Chan, the popular vice president hanging out with the delinquent, again? People just couldn’t seem to wrap their heads around it. They also couldn’t seem to keep their butts out of other people’s business. Minho had met up with Chan and Y/n in front of the school, where he had already complained about how many people had already run up to him, asking what the deal was between Chan and Y/n, because a poor student was thinking about confessing her love to Chan this week.
“Poor girl.” Y/n muttered. “I know right, Chan has always been ‘smothered’ with confessions, yet he never accepted one.” Minho had informed before getting a notebook thrown to his face in middle of class by Chan who sat right in front of him. Jisung laughed loudly, Y/n did as well as she watched the three from her usual spot in the back.
Sooyun just happened to walk into the room at the wrong, yet best, time. She was about to sit next to Chan, where she usually sat, but to her surprise he stood up.
“You two are annoying, I’m going to sit with Y/n, at least she’s nice to be around with.” He playfully huffs to Minho and Jisung before seating himself in the back.
Sooyun watched his movements like a hawk eyeing its prey. She was about to protest and get him sit back next to her, but Jisung had grabbed her by the hand and pulled her down to her seat, stopping her from doing so. She huffs and turns herself away from them. Her ears caught the sound of Y/n and Chan laughing together in the back of the classroom, talking about whatever. Jealousy rose back into her body as she clenched her fists in anger. She had to do something about this, but what?
Days at school went by and to Y/n’s surprise, people had started to feel for her. She didn’t know why. She had told her story to the principal, explaining why she often skipped school and why she missed classes the past few weeks. There was a promise that her story wouldn’t be made public among the students of other teachers, for Y/n’s privacy and safety purposes.
Eventually Y/n figured that the fellow students were probably nice to her, because Chan and his whole clique were. So, she must’ve become ‘okay’ in their eyes.
There still were a few rotten apples to be found in between the others. They made Y/n out to be a clout chaser, that she wanted popularity or something like’s Chan’s status, his money. People had become quite creative and even said that she apparently wanted to become Chan so she could live a life where people actually liked her.
Y/n ignored the comments and never said anything about them. Especially since she believed that Chan had neve heard them, yet he did. He would look to his side as the whispers kept on going. She smiled at him and shot him a wink, a sign that she was okay. He wondered how she did it. How she handled with such people. It broke his heart to think that she used him. He knew she didn’t.
He wished they would had made an agreement, whenever she would argue that she could just go and stop bothering him, he would receive a thousand won from her. Chan would’ve been even richer by now if that was the deal.
In the meantime Chan wasn’t the only one who kept staring at Y/n, wondering how she did it. Sooyun could’ve been a character in Shrek by now, the green toxic tinting her from jealousy. She had enough of it. Y/n’s sudden gain of popularity, Chan’s attention and everything else she had been working years on to achieve. And here Y/n was, snatching it all away from her within days.
And so, suddenly. Y/n’s life turned upside down, once again. Y/n would walk into the school one day and receive the old nasty stares from everyone again. People bumped into her intentionally, making her hiss in pain, her body still not being completely healed. Chan yelled after them, the quickly asking if she was okay. “I’m fine.” She would mutter back. When they entered the room, a bunch of girls would pull Chan away from Y/n, leaving the both stunned. “What are you doing? Get off me.” Chan glared as he tried to shake the girls’ hands off. “Chan, you need to stay away from her.” “She’s not who you think she is.” The other cried out as they continued to pull them further away from Y/n.
“What are you talking about?” Y/n sighed as she crossed her arms, still in pain. “Don’t act so innocent bitch. You know fully well what you did.” A girl said as she shoved her phone in Y/n’s face. There was a news video playing on her screen. The colour seemed to leave Y/n’s skin as she watched how a journalist talked about her life, her story with her father. She was exposed, but something wasn’t right.
‘… we’re informed from a secured source, that y/l/n, a y/age girl, has drinking problems, abused her father and even thrown him in rehab when she should’ve been the one needing detoxifying…’
“They changed the story. That’s not true-“ Y/n was cut off by the pictures she was shown, also shown in the video that was still playing. They were pictures of her father, bruises all over his body and passed out on the ground. Y/n had seen her father drunk plenty of times, when he was drunk, he could easily hurt himself. She remembered that day, but she just couldn’t figure out how that picture was taken.
“How did this happen.” Y/n murmured to herself in shock. “Just admit it, your true colours are out. We’ve always known that you were nothing but a dense delinquent.” The girl spat, a sly smirk following next. “You know nothing.” Y/n snarled back, stepping closer to the girl. “What were you going to do? Hit me? I think it would be a great addition to your abuse-story, make people hate you more than they already do.” The same girl snarled, a witch-like laugh following.
Y/n turned to Chan in panic, but he was still struggling to get the girls off him.
As soon as Y/n had stepped out of the classroom she was once again swarmed by girls who were ready to protect Chan from her.
Their filth were getting to her head and the boys eventually came into the picture to defend her, but no one seemed to believe them or her. “She must’ve been lying to all of you, it’s all over the news. Every drama channel is talking about it as well.” “This is absurd, you believe those rumours, but not the person who the story is actually about?” “Why should we believe her lies? She’s dysfunctional, she always has been. Besides Sooyun told us that Chan told her himself.”
The words made Y/n’s head take a toll. “He did what now?” Y/n hissed anger firing up her heart. “Oh, please. Don’t pretend you didn’t know. You probably did all of this to get attention, didn’t you? To get Chan to like you and his little friends, well believe us it didn’t work. It’s for the best that Chan has put you back in your place, you’re an awful human being, you shouldn’t be allowed to walk around on earth. You’re not even fucking worthy to be breathing the same air as us-“ Y/n quickly pushed the girls aside when Sooyun was locked into her vision. “You! What the fuck did you do!” Y/n yelled as she stormed her way to Sooyun. “I didn’t do anything.” She said with a wicked smile. Y/n was holding back her tears as she wanted to rip that devilish smile off her face.
Felix would try to calm Y/n down, but he couldn’t stop her from talking as she yelled at Sooyun. “Y/n, sweetheart, here you are blaming me, but aren’t you the one who told Chan everything? He’s the one who gave me the information. How else would people know. You sure as hell didn’t tell me in person.” Sooyun states, which sets Y/n to think. It couldn’t have been Changbin, he didn’t know Sooyun. She didn’t tell Felix, Minho and Jisung anything with deep detail, yet Chan knew everything about her. There were even pictures taken of her passed out father. It seemed too bad to be true. It couldn’t be, right?
To Chan’s inconvenience, he walked right into the conversation at the wrong time. He looked at the two girls in confusion as he was stared at by the both. “Chan, did you…” Y/n couldn’t seem to get the words past her throat, but Sooyun seemed glad to steal the words from her mouth. “Chan, you were the cause of all of this, weren’t you?” Sooyun states, making him shot his head towards her in shock and confusion. “N-no, what are you talking about- Y/n I would never-“ “How do people know about all of this then? It’s told into detail, things I haven’t even told Changbin were exposed in that fucking clip. Explain that! I can’t believe this-“ Y/n cried out in frustration, feeling stupid for ever trusting him at all. “I should’ve known better.” “I’m sorry to say this Y/n, but Chan never seemed to actually care about you.” Sooyun snarled.
“Haven’t you said enough.” Y/n hissed to the girl in front of her. “I’m just saying, Chan never stood up for you whenever someone talked trash about you. We went on dates together and the things he said about you weren’t pretty-“ “Hold on- I never said anything-“ “But you never argued against them either, if you really cared about that poor girl, you would’ve defended her, wouldn’t you?” She said, trying to hold back a smirk as everything seemed to go just as she wished. “Y/n, please, don’t believe her.” Chan begged. “No, she’s right. Months ago, you wouldn’t even look at me, why would you now. I can’t believe how foolish I am to believe you.” Y/n sighed, she felt betrayed and just couldn’t look him in the eye right now.
She quickened her pace and ran out of the building, Chan was about to follow her, wanting to set things right, because this sure as hell wasn’t. He was held back by the same girls, who tried to make him seem that she wasn’t worth it and whatever filth they were trying to fill his mind with.
Y/n had been running for over thirty minutes by now, her hood covering her face as she made her way across the city. Her bones hurt, her arms felt like they were being ripped open as she rushed through the crowd, bumping into people constantly and receiving dirty looks from them as she ran past them.
She didn’t know if it was because they might had seen the video, or if they already knew her by her old reputation. Y/n finally made it to the parlour and stormed inside, completely ignoring Hyunjin who looked at her shocked when he saw he walk in. “Y/n, where’s Chan? Shouldn’t you be at school- what’s wrong? Are you crying- Y/n!” He called after her as paced to Changbin’s wing of the parlour. He jumped in surprise when he heart the curtains being ripped open. The smile on his face quickly dropped when he saw Y/n’s broken state and he rushed to her side to hold her close but carefully.
Her body being like glass to him that had been shattered too many times, put back together and on the edge of being broken again.
“…I never should’ve trusted him.” Changbin understood in-between the sobs that came from Y/n. “Who? Who hurt you? What’s going on? Why aren’t you with Chan? What happened?” Changbin had held Y/n face into his hands as she kept on crying, the tears rolling over his tattooed hands. Y/n murmured in-between her cries the explanation of what happened at school earlier.
Changbin was furious, he was planning of giving Chan a piece of his mind, he didn’t care that he was at school or at home, this was just sick. But for now, he needed Y/n to calm down. He felt her heart racing through her chest as he held her close. He sat her down and hugged her as she rubbed her back. The pain she must be feeling right now were probably unbearable, so he sussed her to sleep and asked Hyunjin to keep an eye on her as he went out to look for Chan.
Changbin didn’t had to look for long to find Chan as he was at home. Changbin rather punched the door than knocked, before the door swung open. “Bin! I’m so glad you’re here! I can’t find Y/n, I’ve looked everywhere-“ Chan was cut off by a punch that was thrown to his jaw and he stumbled back into his apartment. Changbin followed him in and grabbed him by the collar before throwing another punch to his ‘friend’s’ face. “What was that for!” “Who the fuck do you think you are Bang Chan! What is your bloody deal?” Changbin yelled as he shook Chan in anger, still holding him by the collar. “She went to you, didn’t she?” Chan asked, feeling slightly relieved.
“She did, and I’m glad she did. She came to me crying after all this time. Do you know when the last time was when I saw her cry?” Changbin snarled. “Never, because I don’t make her cry Bang.” “Listen! It’s not what you think! I’m being set up!” Chan cried out. “Sure you are, is this why you want Y/n to be with you these past few weeks. You never like her anyway. Y/n always complained about this vice president who just couldn’t stop harassing her with harsh words and nasty looks. Why should I believe you? I bet you wanted to ruin her all along-“ “I never- no, no! That’s not true!” Chan yelled.
“There’s no reason why I should believe you over the girl who has come crying to me, spilling her heart out on how everyone hates her again.” The fight went on for longer, they exchanged punches and eventually they were panting as they stood in front of each other again, yelling at one another with a black eye and bleeding lips.
“And who the fuck do you think you are! You act like you’re the only who cares about her!” Chan yells. “Well I do care about! I actually do and I show it! I have her trust unlike you!” “What do you think you’re her boyfriend or something?” Chan yelled. “Why do you care? Are you in love with her or something?” Changbin snarled back, leaving Chan stunned in silence.
The silence said enough for Changbin to figure out how it is. “What, you think you can fucking do this and confess your love to her right after-“ “I told you already that I’m being set up!” Chan yells in anger. “Sure buddy, at least she trusts me. You know she does. She comes back running to me every time you mess up. And how many times have that been by now?”
Chan was still panting, but he didn’t know what else to say. He messed up a lot. He wanted to make everything right, but this just made everything worse than it should be, he didn’t understand how this all happened anyway. His mind was blurry and he was confused, because he had his priorities set on Y/n.
“Changbin please-“ “Do you really think I will bring you to her? To break her heart once again after you had your way with it. To ‘confess’ to her and play games with her mind again. I thought not so, buddy.” “Changbin please, I do-“ “I bet I could confess to her right now and she would be with me. I’ve been her friend for the longest time, my parents already thought it would be time for us to step it up. People already think we’re a couple, why not put the title on our relationship?” Changbin snarled.
“Maybe, I should just confess my love to her.” Changbin added as he almost threatened Chan.
Chan felt his heart break and he dropped down on his knees. The tears were flowing down his cheeks and soon past his fingers as he hid his face in his hands. “Bin, please. I love her so much. My heart is in constant pain because of her. Not because she hurts me, but because she has been so good to me. She’s so different, so special. I-I don’t know how to describe it. She’s breath-taking, she’s so much more I could ever wish for in someone. My parents want me to be with a snob rich kid, who only cares about her reputation and the numbers on her bank account. They want me to think about my status and push my feelings aside. I can’t help it Bin, I love her. I love her so much. The past month I’ve felt so free with her. She has no expectations for me, she doesn’t expect me to pay for everything. She always fought me whenever I did, she’d argue with me that she could buy things herself, because ‘she’s an independent woman’.” Chan chuckles as he leaned back on the couch behind him.
“My parents don’t like her, because they can’t see past her appearance. It’s sad. They don’t experience, they don’t see the beauty that she carries. She’s so kind, she’s funny, she makes my heart race and make me do dumb things. Like, skipping school to go on a trip. I have to say that it was the best day of my life, that’s for sure. I’m just an idiot for being such a fool.” Chan cried out.
Changbin sighed as well and sat down next to Chan. “I had a feeling you might’ve been in love with her.” Changbin admitted. Chan looked surprised to his side and eyed Changbin, who ended up bursting into laughter. “If you keep asking about her, then you aren’t playing it off to well mate.” Changbin chuckled, causing Chan to blush.
“Let me tell you another thing about Y/n. You’ve got to know her well up until now and apparently you did a pretty good job doing it since she opened up to you. If you want her to like you, the way you like her. Just be there for her and support her through her hardships.” Changbin’s words causes Chan to burst out in tears again. “I tried! But I keep messing up. I fucked up so many times, where I knew I should’ve been there for her or should’ve stood up for her, but I didn’t.” Chan cried out.
Changbin sighed and got back on his feet. He offered his friend a hand and Chan smiled as he took it. A couple minutes later, they were cleaning their wounds and kept talking together. “Chan, how did you end up in this mess?” Changbin asked softly. “I don’t know man, first thing I know is that I was smiling and laughing with Y/n, then next thing I know. I’m being ripped away from her by some other kids and following that, Y/n running away from the scene.” Chan sighed. “Y/n is really worn off, she ran all the way from school to my parlour. Eyes red from crying and in a lot of pain, I thought her wounds weren’t healed yet.” Changbin states. “They aren’t.” Chan cried out in frustration, guilt and sadness taking over his body.
The boys were interrupted by Changbin’s phone, Hyunjin had texted him. Saying that he had brough Y/n to Changbin’s apartment due to her request.
Chan read along with Changbin and was glad that Y/n was safe.
Changbin sighed once again after pulling his hoodie back over his head, done with cleaning his wounds. “You need to fix this, I don’t know how or where to start, but you need to.” Changbin states. “I know.” Chan let out a whimper, feeling like crying again. “Hey, it will be alright. I’ll make sure she’s okay and I’ll help you figure this out.” Changbin promises. “Really? Aren’t you mad at me?” “I am still a little fired up, but something isn’t right. I can feel it. Besides, I can tell you truly feel for her, I appreciate that you opened up to me.” Changbin voiced in honesty. “So, you aren’t going to…” “No, I’m not going to confess. I was just furious in the moment. I’m sorry.” “No, I am. Thank you Bin.”
When Changbin arrived home, he went to look for Y/n. He panicked a little when he didn’t find her in her room. He ran to his own room, only to find Y/n sound asleep on his bed, Gyu tightly wrapped in her arms. He sighed in relieve and went to lay next to her.
A couple days later, Chan went out for a walk. His jaw still hurt from the punch, he well deservingly, got from Changbin the other day. It was already late and it started to get dark outside. Chan mindlessly revisited the spot where he and Y/n had their first ‘date’ together.
Memories flashed beyond his eyes as he saw the exact spot where they took pictures together. He couldn’t help but smile to himself as he remembered the way she laughed at his lame jokes, how she lit up when she ate his food and enjoyed each other’s company. He remembered holding her in his arms as they danced slowly in the middle of the park, not giving a damn if someone was watching.
His pleasant revisits of memories were cut off by the slurs of a drunken man who wandered around the park. Chan ignored the man, not wanting to be involved into any type of trouble. Unfortunately, the man thought otherwise.
He started to yell and shout around and eventually his eyes caught Chan and decided to stumble his way, rather quick, towards him. Chan noticed the bottle of liquor and a piece of paper in the man’s hand as he caught up to Chan. “You,” the man started. Chan wanted to gag by the disgusting smell of alcohol filling his sense that came from the man. “You look familiar kid.” The man slurred. “I’m sorry sir, I have no idea who you are.” Chan said quickly whilst his eyes looked for someone to help him, but no one seemed to be out at this hour.
“You! You’re this kid!” The man slurred out loudly as he waved a paper, which seemed like a picture, into Chan’s face. Chan’s heart dropped when he recognised the picture. It was a picture of him and Y/n from their first date. “Y-you’re Y/n’s father-“ “I sure as hell am! And you are the piece of shit who brought me into that hell hole! Taking my daughter away from me and daring to involve into our businesses!” The man screamed as he dropped the paper and filling his hand with the collar of Chan’s jacket.
“Sir, please I don’t want any trouble.” Chan begged. “Too bad buddy. You shouldn’t have interfered into our business. You should’ve left your stuck-up ass in one of your little penthouses.” Chan to get away from the man, before anything bad could happen. But Y/n’s father’s grip seemed to be stronger than he thought. “Sir, please let me go-“ “Nah, I have to show this rich city boy what the consequences are like when you ruin my life.”
Chan closed his eyes shut and prepared himself for what was coming, only remembering a piercing pain and darkness taking over him.
“Y/n, Y/n wake up.” Changbin yelled in a whisper as he shook her awake. She groaned in annoyance and pushed him off. “Just five more hours.” Y/n groaned as she hid her head under her pillow. “Y/n it’s an emergency, Chan’s in the hospital.” The words made Y/n shot up. She felt confused, because she didn’t know how to feel about him at the moment, but something inside of her told her to go. “Put on a hoodie and let’s go.”
Y/n and Changbin arrived at the hospital, only to see Chan’s parents and siblings in their pyjama’s as they waited nervously. Chan’s mother was hysterically crying, Lucas and Hannah were tiredly sitting back in their seat, pacing back and forth in anxiousness.
Y/n made eye contact with the mother who immediately pointed violently to her as she started to cry out to her. “You! This is your fault! You’re the reason he’s in the hospital isn’t it?” She yelled as she was being held back by her husband, who quickly argued against his wife alongside the kids. “Honey, this isn’t her fault. The doctor said Chan was attacked by a drunk man.” “D-do you perhaps know what he looked like?” Y/n asked carefully. “No, but he’s send back to rehab, apparently he escaped somehow.” Chan’s father explained, causing Y/n to stumble back. “Y/n, you don’t think that your…” Changbin whispered, not daring to finish his sentence. “I-I hope not. If he has found Chan, he could find me-“ “I wouldn’t let that happen Dumpling, you know that. You’re safe with me.” Changbin assured as he hugged her, whilst they all waited for the results from the doctor.
Which finally came in after forty minutes of waiting. Hannah and Lucas had fallen asleep, too tired from waiting since it was quite late already. “…your son will be fine mister and misses Bang. I do have to inform that he apparently has been hit by a glass bottle and is unconscious right now. We don’t know when he will wake up, but we are sure to keep a close eye on him. You can see him now, direct family first please.”
Y/n could hear the worried cries from his parents coming from the room as she and Changbin still waited. Changbin voiced that he felt guilty for beating his friend up. Y/n admitted that she didn’t know yet how to feel about Chan yet. If she even wanted to be there, especially after what Chan did to her. “Y/n, I understand that you have hard feeling towards him right now, but do consider that there is something wrong. Something just doesn’t add up.” Changbin states, setting Y/n to thinking.
Days had passed and Chan still hadn’t awakened from his unconscious state. She had seen how hard it had been for his parents and she truly hoped that Chan would wake up soon. Y/n also had been thinking about what Changbin had told her the other day, but it just makes her even more confused than that she already was.
‘He’s so nice, he has been for the past months, why would he do this?’ She questioned herself as she walked towards the hospital, wanting to visit Chan. ‘Chan hasn’t always been nice to me though, why would he become nice to me all of the sudden? Was it an act since he was forced to tutor me? Or did he actually mean everything he said- this better not be a fucking bet or I will throw him back into his hospital bed as soon as he’s able to leave it.’ Y/n growled in her mind as she now stomped her way to the hospital.
“Y/n, calm down. There must be something going on, like Binnie said.” She said to herself, before she took a deep breath and entered the building.
When Y/n arrived at Chan’s room, she wasn’t surprised to see his mother there. She had been staying there for the past couple days, not wanting to leave her oldest son alone, especially at a time of vulnerability. She shot Y/n a side eye when she entered the room.
“Hello misses Bang.” She said politely as she bowed for her. “Y/n.” She sighed as she focused on her son again. Y/n looked at the monitor that kept track of his heartbeats, which seemed mostly steady. “How is he doing?” Y/n tried to ask, but not receiving an answer from the woman in front of her.
Chan’s mother would sigh after a period of silence and turn herself to Y/n with a serious look on her face. “Don’t you think you’ve done enough.” She sighed, causing Y/n to become angry. “I’m sorry, but I’m tired of this. With all the respect, but you keep pretending as if this is all my fault, when you sure as hell know that it is not.” Y/n snapped. “If my son never interfered with you and your issues, none of this would’ve ever happened.” She cried out in frustration. “First of all, Chan and I were both forced together by our principal who made him tutor me. And besides that, don’t you think I know that. Because my drunken dad had to escape and somehow find Chan, he’s hurt. Don’t you think that I think this is all because of me? If you don’t you are pretty dense.” Y/n snarled.
“I think it’s time for you to leave.” His mother said calmly as she took her son’s hand into hers. “Fine, I’ll go. But I just want to make sure that you know that, Chan means a lot to me. You’ve raised one hell of a son. He’s absolutely amazing. He’s sweet, caring, charming and humble. You re lucky to have a son like him. I know you don’t like me ma’am, I’m aware of it, but I love that guy. So much. I don’t even know what to do with my feelings since I know you would never accept me and my ‘issues’. Everything I’ve told you and your family is true ma’am and Chan helped me through a lot of them. And I love him for that, more that you could ever know.” Y/n said as tears stream down her face. Both of their faces turned to the monitor when Chan’s heart skipped a beat, before Y/n continued to rant.
“I know I’m not perfect and that I never will be, that’s why I respect your request and I’ll leave as soon as I’m done ranting, but just know this ma’am. There’s much more to me than the tattoos and old stories that belongs with my past. He was focused on who I am today and saw good in me. Something not a lot of people notice in me.”
Chan’s mother looked at Y/n stunned and surprised. She would’ve never guessed such meaningful words coming out of Y/n’s mouth. She gulped loudly and tried not to show how Y/n’s words had moved her to tears.
“I’ll get going then, goodbye ma’am.” Y/n whispered, before she bowed and left. Her heart aching as she just admitted to someone other than herself, her feelings for Chan.
During her rant the two women didn’t know Chan could hear everything the two said. He felt like he couldn’t move, his body was numb and uncontrollable. His heart sped up in panic when he heart her leaving.
Before she exited the room, he could make out a whisper. “No… stay…” His mother, who was now alone with him again in the room, shot her attention to her son, who also managed to squeezed the hand he was holding slightly. His mother thought he was talking to her, when in reality Chan was begging in his mind for Y/n to come back. For her to confess her love to him over and over again, that’s all he wanted to hear. He wanted to see her again, he wanted to tell her that he loved her too.
“Don’t worry Channie, I’m right here.” His mother said as she kissed her son’s hair. Chan was glad she was there, but all he wanted right now, was Y/n to be by his side.
His mother knew better though. She knew the words were meant for Y/n. She had observed her son and had of course seen the pictures of the two in Chan’s room when she went to bring him his freshly washed clothes. She was shocked at first to see her son and this trouble maker of a girl together, but she couldn’t lie to herself. She saw how happy her son seemed with Y/n. She has at least never seen pictures of Chan and Sooyun together in Chan’s room.
That was one of the moments where she realised that Y/n was something special that Chan was planning on keeping close to his heart. When Chan brought Y/n home almost every day, she started to feel scared and thought that her son might take things too fast and he should reconsider his other possibilities.
But it seemed like Chan had already made his choice. She brushed her son’s hair as she looked down at him and knew that he had it all figured out already.
Well, most of it.
After calling in sick for a week at school, she was now forced again to attend classes. And yet again, there were students blaming Y/n for Chan’s injuries and him ending up in the hospital. Y/n had been doing quite well with ignoring all of them.
“I’m surprised you aren’t put in jail yet. That’s where you belong.” “Don’t say that. You’re insulting the prisoners when you compare them to that.” Another girl said as she nodded toward Y/n, laughing annoyingly right after.
As Y/n had been continuing to go to school, everything seemed to go downhill for her. The three boys couldn’t seem to cheer her up. They did manage to make everyone back off and leave her alone, but it wasn’t enough for Y/n.
She looked so depressed and it broke their hearts. They were confused as well, but they knew this wasn’t the Y/n they had always known. The Y/n they knew was strong, independent and could shine as bright as the sun whenever she was happy or in her own habitat. The Y/n who sat in front of them was laying her hear on the table as it rested on her arm. Her glow seemed to be gone and they wanted nothing more than to fix it for her.
One day, Y/n would call in sick anyway, saying that her body still hurt too bad, making up the excuse or else the school wouldn’t let her stay in. Changbin didn’t know this and was surprised once again to see his best friend arrive at the parlour. Hyunjin noticed Y/n gloominess and called Changbin in as soon as he could.
Changbin’s heart broke and brought her to his wing where they could talk. Hyunjin decided to give the two some space and went out to do so. “What’s wrong?” Changbin asked carefully as he took her hands in his. “I-I can’t do this anymore Bin.” She sobbed in front of him, her body shaking from exhausting, not only physically but also mentally.
“W-what do you mean? Please Dumpling, talk to me.” Changbin’s voice was shaking in fear as he suspected the worse. “I don’t want to go on Bin, I can’t do this anymore. Everyone hates me. Everyone is against me and I’m ruined. Why does everyone hate me? Why always me? I hate myself so much Changbin. Chan is in the hospital because of me, my dad is in rehab and was probably looking for me. He hates me as well. Maybe I should listen to everyone and just-“
“Don’t you fucking say that!” Changbin yelled out as he stood up with tears streaming down his face as his heart broke, piece by piece. “But Bin-“ “No! I won’t let you. I will fucking end myself if you ever try to end your life! You don’t want that right?” “That’s just mean Bin.” She whispers whilst looking up to him with tears-filled eyes.
“And this isn’t? Think about how much pain I’d be in if you ever leave me. I was already in so much pain when I was in Japan and I couldn’t be with you. Fucking hell, I even hired Felix to keep an eye on you, because I needed to know how you really were. Please. I love you, you’re my best friend. I can’t live without you, you’re my better half, you’re my partner in crime and I can’t afford to lose you. Besides, I know there is someone, who I can’t name, but this person loves you so much. I can’t even explain how much this person loves you. Please Y/n, will you promise to stay?” Changbin cried out, causing Y/n to cry out as well.
Changbin sat down next to her and brought her into his arms as they cried their hearts out together, “I’m sorry Binnie.” She sobbed into his shoulder, hugging him tighter. “It’s alright Dumpling, you’re safe as long as you’re with me. And I promise you. I’m not going anywhere.”
Meanwhile, at the hospital Chan had finally awaken to everyone’s joy. He groaned out loudly when he opened his eyes for the first time in days. His head was pounding, his chest hurt and he felt a weird tube in his nose that he assumed was to feed him, so he wouldn’t die of hunger. He couldn’t remember much, everything seemed like a vague dream.
His mother would swaddle him as soon as the doctors said she could, after they had finished their check-ups. “Where’s Y/n?” He’d ask eventually. “Goodness dear, think about yourself for a second. You’re the one who’s hospitalized.” His mother argued as she tucked him in. “Mom, seriously, how is she.” When his mother chose to ignore him, he got mad. “Just forget about her Chan, think about your health.” She scoffs, only making Chan angrier. “No! I’m done with you and dad always deciding for me what to do or who to be!” His mother was surprised by her son’s reaction. “All my life you have been planning my future, not even giving me a chance to think or speak for myself! I’ve always pleased you! By winning all my competitions I attended, all my grades are better than others. You made my life an actual competition and I’m done with it! I get that you want me to think about myself, but from now on I’m done listening to you two. I have a voice of my own and I won’t let the two of you decide for me anymore. I’m a young adult for God’s sake!” Chan exclaimed in frustration.
“I get that you and dad are looking out for me, but once I fall in love with someone, I just feel like you want to ruin that for me. Because you want me to be with a shitty snob who only cares about money and her status. I have better things to do than think about the numbers on my bank account and how my hair looks. I want someone who’s interesting, who has a deep personality, someone I could talk to in the middle of the night about anything and everything.” Chan sighs as he sat back, looking away from his mother as he tried to calm down.
His mother knew her son was right and sighed as she tried to stroke his cheek in comfort. “We’ll talk about this at home, okay?” “No! Stop ignoring this! You know I’m right!” Chan yelled as he sat up. “Channie, please lay back down.” His mother almost begged. “All I’m asking was how she was! I get that you hate her, but just answer the bloody question. I already have no idea what the hell happened to me. I only know the things you all told me and I don’t know who to believe anymore! She hasn’t visited me at all and that might be my own fault, but she’s still healing mom. Someone needs to help her out. I just want to make sure she’s alright, okay.” Chan cried out.
His mother sighed and stood up and left the room for now, knowing Chan needed some time alone. She saw how upset he was, almost heartbroken that she hadn’t visited him. She couldn’t help but feel guilty for sending Y/n away every time she came to visit him.
Chan laid back in his bed and he felt like crying. He was just so worried about her. He couldn’t help it. Eventually Chan would realise that she would be safe at Changbin’s. He sighed and felt envious that he was able to be with Y/n, whilst he was stuck in his hospital bed. Chan would look to his side and pick up his phone before he scrolled through is gallery. Deciding to revisit the happy memories before he fell back asleep.
“Chan, Channie wake up there’s someone here to see you.” A familiar voice woke him up before he fully opened his eyes, unsurprisingly his mother came into his vision. Still feeling angry with her he turned away from her, causing her to sigh. “Fine, you don’t have to look at me. I guess I deserve that. But at least look at her when you talk to her.” She mutters, still pressing a kiss on her son’s hair through his protest.
Chan looked away from his mother to see Y/n standing at the end of his bed, a small smile plastered on her face as she looked at him. She looked better, still tired and a little bruised, but her wounds definitely healed well. Chan was startled at her presence and shot up in his bed. Feeling a little embarrassed as well since he probably looked like a mess. “I’ll be down in the cafeteria if you need me.” Chan’s mother states before she exited the room, leaving Chan and Y/n alone.
Chan tried to find the right words to say, but was quickly interrupted by the tears that suddenly flowed down Y/n’s face. “Hey, hey! What’s wrong?” Chan asks as he mentioned to her to sit beside him. “I’m sorry, none of this would’ve ever happened if-“ “No, don’t cry. This isn’t your fault.” Chan assured as he brought her in his arms. “But-“ “No buts, this isn’t your fault, none of this is. I’m fine Sunshine, I’m not going to lie, I missed you.” He chuckled, causing her to burst out in laughter as well as she tried to stop her crying.
“I missed you too.” She pulled away from him and caressed his cheeks as she looked at him. “Are you okay?” She asked him as she realised that she was actually with him in the hospital. “I am, don’t worry. I’ll be back on my feet in no time.” He chuckled as he leaned into her hand affectionately, also couldn’t help but feel like she was the cutest being in the world right now. “How have you been? Do your arms still hurt?” Chan asks as she inspected them. “They healed well. Felix and the others have helped out a lot. I owe them one, I promised them to make them something ‘scrumptious’ when everything calms down a little.” She said with an awkward chuckle, but was surprised to hear Chan burst out in laughter.
“Where did you get the word ‘scrumptious’ from?” He wheezed. “Trust me, ever since you’re gone, Jisung and Minho have been fighting on who is smarter and they had this vocabular battle. I picked up some of the words after laughing my ass off.” She giggled. “I’m glad they’re good to you.” Chan sighs in relief.
“I’m glad too.” Y/n said before the two sat in silence for a period of time, not later being broken by Y/n who nervously asked Chan what happened to her dad. “I heard that he was brought back to rehab, but a stricter one with more security and supervisors.” “I-I’m scared Chan, I know he was looking for me. I-I should’ve been more careful, you wouldn’t be in pain right now.” She cried again. “Don’t cry, you’re safe with me. I promise.” Chan whispers as he hugged her tight.
She relaxed into his touch and buried her face in the crook of his neck. He had his hands on both of her cheeks and she leaned into his touch, just like he did minutes ago. She was stunning to him, even if she had cried her eyes out only seconds before. Chan felt like he had to tell her, it was now or never. He sat up and leaned closely towards her as he kept staring deep into her eyes. “What?” She giggled in a whisper, feeling flustered by the sweet smile he was sending her.
Chan’s heart was racing, the words were on the tip of his tongue and he felt like he left his sanity and mind in cloud nine. “I like you.” He whispered. Y/n was taken back by his confession and leaned back in surprise, looking at him in expectation of him to tell her that he was joking. “What?” She asks him again. “I like you Y/n. I’ve had feelings for you for some time now.” He admitted with a smile plastered on his face.
Y/n’s heart was racing, but unfortunately not because she was happy. “Don’t say that. Don’t say things you don’t mean.” She stuttered, feeling her heart increasing beats per second. “What do you mean? Y/n-“ “I have to go.” She murmurs as she got off the bed, anxiety overtaking her esteem as she picked up her pace.
A nurse had walked in the middle of the scene, obviously not knowing what was going on and was surprised when she saw Y/n run past her, out of the room. Chan was ready to jump out of bed and run after her, but the nurse had other plans. She ordered him to get back into bed since he wasn’t fully recovered yet and it could do major damage to his body.
In the cafeteria Chan’s mother spotted Y/n running through the building with tears streaming down her face. She got up and wanted to catch up to Y/n, but she was too quick and eventually disappeared in the crowd. She hurried to Chan’s room where she found her son crying. She asked him what happened and Chain explained through his sobs that he had confessed to Y/n. Chan felt heartbroken and confused.
“I don’t get it mom, why would she react that way?” Chan sobbed softly as he looked at his mother with big, teary eyes. “I don’t know honey, maybe she’s scared. She has lost quite some loved ones already. She might be scared to have her beloved close in her life. We don’t know honey.” She mutters as she rubbed her son’s back.
Chan immediately felt a wave of guilt washing over him and started to cry out harder. “I should’ve been more sensitive. I didn’t realise that. I should’ve been more careful.” Chan cried. “There, there. Don’t worry love, the two of you will be fine. I know you will. Besides, you have always been caring, especially towards her. From what I’ve seen?” She chuckles. “She will turn by honey, trust me.” She added, before pressing another kiss on her son’s head.
She knew that Y/n felt the same way as the son did, but it wasn’t her job to tell him that.

AFF Ao3
He grimaced as he stared at his reflection in the newly wiped clean mirror. The steam from the shower was still billowing around him, hair dripping water droplets as he pushed it from his forehead, and a towel resting over his shoulders. Staring back was dark circles from too much stress and too little sleep. With a deep sigh, Jinki tugged open the cabinet and effectively cut off the picture of himself as he reached in for his moisturizer. Kibum would never forgive him if he forgot his skincare. ‘You may look dead on your feet, but at least you won’t have wrinkles.’ . Jinki found himself quietly laughing as he patted in the cool liquid into his cheeks at the memory of Kibum’s long fingers pressing some unknown facial cleanser onto his face, having his bottom lip tugged between in concentration as if it was the hardest thing he had focused on. The other man should be home soon with dinner. Taemin had been in charge of ordering it and Jinki was both excited and hesitant to see what the youngest man had chosen.
There was a reason more often than not on Taemin’s turn at dinner they always ate out, mainly because it gave him certain parameters to pick from. Given free reign, milk was always found where it shouldn’t, like ramen. Jinki shivered a little at the reminder of THAT incident. Jonghyun reacted so badly to the spice and milk combination that he spent the next day making friends with the bathroom. There was always a limit on the things he’d do for the men he loves. Lying through his teeth about how great Taemin’s cooking was, well that was one of them. The youngest’s history with weird food combinations and risky take out orders was the main reason Kibum always was responsible for the night after his. The chef of their little group always made sure to make it all up to them with something tasty.
Stepping into the room that he and Jonghyun shared, he was surprised to find Minho spread eagle on the bed. Last he knew the man was still at the university working with his group on the social differences between genders in competitive sports. His phone was held close to his face as he scrolled through something, the light of the screen reflecting off of his glasses. The bathroom door hinge squeaked as it was pushed open and Minho’s head snapped up, a huge smile blooming on his face. He scrambled up from his stomach, sitting back on his knees and accepting the soft kiss Jinki presses to his lips with a sigh. “Not that I’m not glad to see you, Love, but why are you here?”
“Two of the three people didn’t show up. So the two of us that did show up figured we could do our parts at home.” Minho flopped back onto the bed, spreading his legs out in front of him, “Jonghyun and Kibum left for the food, and Taemin is currently trying to teach his hamster how to jump through a hoop, so I came in here to wait for you .”
Jinki tugged on his sweatpants, tripping a little on his slippers he forgot were there, and tried to imagine how well that was going. “How is Cheese doing on that?”
“Oh terribly. When I dropped my bag in the room all Cheese was doing was stealing the snack Taemin was holding and running away.” He could have sworn he had a shirt laid out before he headed into the bathroom, now where was the stupid thing? He looked up when Minho cleared his throat, “Are you looking for this?”
Sure enough, held out was the shirt he was looking for. It was one of Jonghyun’s from high school, it was softened with time and too many washes, the lettering half faded on the chest. He grabbed it with a sheepish grin before pulling it over his head. “Thanks, Love.”
As soon as Jinki was on the bed next to him, Minho had his head against his shoulder, finding his hand to play with his fingers, “How was your day?”
“I taught undergrads today. It was to be as expected.” With their busy schedules, it wasn’t often than Jinki got to see Minho for more than an hour a day it seemed, and most of that was getting ready to be somewhere else or the younger man making sure he remembered to eat something. He was always horrid at remembering to eat, which is why most of the time either Minho or Kibum made sure he had snacks in the front pocket of his backpack. The distant sound of chaos entering their home caused both men to glance toward the closed door. “I think the food’s here.”
“From the sound of things, I don’t think Kibum approves of what Taemin ordered.” Minho hummed happily when Jinki pressed a kiss to his hair before both men headed toward the door. The sound of voices increased as the door was pulled open, and Jinki shook his head fondly as he followed Minho toward the rest of their little family.
----
The dining room table was a second-hand piece of furniture Jinki and Kibum had gotten from a yard sale when they decided to move into a bigger place. It once had been a dark cherry wood, but the color had faded and bits were chipped and scratched from all the mayhem that descended upon it over the last two years. Not that anyone could see the table’s surface with the collection of binders, folders, papers, and calculators spread across the surface from where Jonghyun and Minho always set up shop to do their projects. The last time they had used it to eat off was two months ago when Taemin’s family came to visit and Kibum had made them all dinner. That being said, when Jinki and Minho entered the living room from the hall the food was already being spread out on the coffee table in the living room. From the looks of things, he ordered chicken wings. Which didn’t explain Kibum’s loud reaction to the food at all.
When he spotted the sauce options chosen, that did, however. Blueberry barbeque sauce and garlic pepper, both mixed in together like some sort of strange concoction. Kibum looked one touch away from losing his chef mind, concern so vivid on his pretty features. Jonghyun looked like he was a mixture of amused, worried, and distraught in his own way. As Jinki slipped past the duo, he squeezed Jonghyun’s hip and kissed Kibum’s cheek. “It can’t be that bad, Bommie.”
Jonghyun, grim as can be, shook his head, “Oh it can be, Baby, oh it can be.”
Kibum pressed his lips together before turning completely on his heel, disappearing behind them for a moment. There was clanking, and something popping open. When he emerged again there was a bottle of wine in his hand. By his tongue lapping at his lips, he had already taken a swig. “Really?”
“Let me forget his sins, Old Man.”
Jinki eyed the bottle even as Jonghyun and Minho got busy pulling out the food from the bags and Taemin could be heard coming down the hall. Before Kibum could react, he gripped the bottle and pulled it, taking a long swig. Oh, gross, it’s red. He handed the bottle back with a grimace. “My day was bad, but not bad enough to willingly drink red wine.”
Kibum stepped closer, wrapping his free hand around to rest on Jinki’s hip and kiss his temple. “There’s whiskey in the kitchen if you want a drink, but let’s eat and you can tell us about it.”
------
The food had been eaten, and while strange, the sauce combination hadn’t been as bad as Kibum and Jonghyun made it out to be. Then again, Jinki loved chicken so much it was very hard to make him upset while consuming it. Minho had taken their plates into the kitchen to clean because of it being his night for dishes. Kibum was sprawled out on the couch, sipping the same bottle of wine he had shared with Jonghyun throughout dinner. The younger man had his fingers moving through Jinki’s hair as he leaned back against the front of the couch, legs under the table. Taemin had taken the opportunity to fall against his left side, hugging his arm loosely as they glanced at the drama that happened to be on the television when they turned it on for background noise.
Jinki laid his head back against the cushion, eyes closing feeling Kibum’s long fingers scratch against his scalp. He was sure there was something important he needed to finish for school, but he couldn’t pinpoint what it was exactly with how good Kibum’s fingers felt. The man’s deep voice was quiet as he spoke, wine and drowsiness making him talk slower. “I’m sorry today was so bad, Baby.”
“Not your fault undergrads are really stressful.”
Taemin huffed, his breath fanning out over his shoulder as he shifted his head to look up at him. “Hey!”
Kibum shifted closer until his head was against the edge of the cushion and the bottle of wine was gently placed on the floor beside Jinki. Before he could be disappointed that the fingers in his hair stopped, Kibum moved them again after adjusting his hand. “You’ll get to rag on undergrads soon, Taemin.”
“Not soon enough.” The youngest grumbled, grabbing his cup to sip from the straw.
“I should probably do my paper that’s due.” Kibum deeply sighed, his breath fluttering a bit of Jinki’s fringe hanging over his forehead.
He turned his head until his right cheek was against the couch, smiling softly when Kibum’s fond grin came into view. “When is it due?”
“Next Wednesday.”
The topic of the conversation was momentarily forgotten as he gazed at his lover. While he knew Kibum was always pretty, it was moments like this that reminded Jinki just how beautiful he was. His eyelashes fluttering with his drowsiness, his hair falling in soft dark waves away from his face, and flush in his cheeks from his wine. The black hair was different than the blond Kibum had when they first started dating, but Jinki rather liked how his natural hair looked. Oh right, they were talking about something. “You have time to do it later.”
Something sparked in Kibum’s dark eyes and his lips quirked up as he spoke, “You just don’t want me to stop playing with your hair.”
“Guilty as charged.”
A loud growl from their left had all of them looking in that direction. They found Jonghyun standing by the dining room table, leaning heavily on his hands and his hair falling from the tiny ponytail on top of his head into his eyes. Minho popped his head out from the kitchen, brows furrowed, “You alright?”
“My research assistant forgot to get consent from the last group! I can’t use any of this data.” He lifted his hand, a stack of papers crumped in his harsh grip. “I have to do this all over and I don’t know if I have time and-”
Minho swooped in close, tugging Jonghyun away from the tabletop and hugged him close. “Put the papers down. Worry about this tomorrow.”
“But-”
It was Taemin who chirped from his comfy spot, “We should play a board game instead.”
Jinki could see Jonghyun was pushing up on his toes to see over Minho’s shoulder, but his voice carried over the distance. “What kind of board game?”
Taemin sat up fully and grinned, “Monopoly of course.”
-----
Jonghyun was sitting on Jinki and Minho more than the couch as Taemin came back into the room with the game. Kibum had moved onto the floor, his bottle of wine sitting on the table before him as he leaned his head on his palm and gazed at his three lovers on the couch. Jinki was whispering something against Jonghyun’s hair, causing the man to slowly smile and rouge to paint across his cheeks. Kibum was too tipsy to focus enough to make out what he was saying, but it still made him smile to see Jonghyun begin to giggle because of the oldest man. Minho was gently patting Jonghyun’s shins, leaning heavily on Jinki’s shoulder, but he grinned when Kibum caught his gaze.
And then Taemin decided to shatter the soft, serene air by dead dropping the monopoly box onto the table. All eyes fell on the youngest, who grinned widely. “I can’t wait to kick y’all’s asses.”
“Kibum and Jinki are tied with the most number of wins, Bub.” Minho quipped as he lifted Jonghyun’s legs to slip onto the ground, pulling the game box closer to him. Using the top, he pointed at Taemin as he continued. “You’re in last place.”
“We’ll see.” Taemin’s tongue was poked out of the side of his mouth as he picked up the dark orange 500 dollar bills and began counting out the correct number of bills. All was good until he hit the 20’s, in which his hands lowered into his lap and he stared up at Jinki on the couch. “How many again?”
“Six, Tae.” Came Jinki’s soft reply. His eyes were closed, a dazed smile on his face as Jonghyun played with his hair. Jonghyun chuckled, knowing that it was always the twenties Taemin forgot the quantity of. “Do I get a night off from being the banker?”
As Taemin happily called out, yes, the other three men unanimously agreed. “No.”
“I can do it.” Somehow Taemin always managed to make his voice carry the fact he was pouting deeply.
“You say that and then after you have to do the math you push it towards Jinki. It’s alright.” Minho hummed, setting out the correct pieces. The Scottish dog for Jonghyun. The thimble for Jinki. The top hat for Kibum. The running shoe for himself, and finally, the car for Taemin. The other three were put back into the top of the box placed on the floor to his right.
The money stacks were placed around the table and Kibum smacked his mouth after swallowing another sip of wine. “Alright old men, you have to come down now.”
As soon as Jonghyun had managed to remove himself from the other’s lap, Jinki leaned forward and cracked his knuckles with a sleepy grin. “Who’s ready to lose?”
------
It was Jinki, Minho and Taemin left. Kibum and Jonghyun had moved back onto the couch, the two men a tangle of limbs as Kibum snoozed with his cheek squished on Jonghyun’s shoulder. As soon as his little snores and nose whistles had been heard Jinki had looked behind him with a smile. Jonghyun looked like he was very close to following their lover’s footsteps, his eyes fluttering as he fought the pull of sleep. After finishing his turn, Minho pushed off the ground to pull the blanket from the recliner and toss it over the two of them.
Jonghyun mumbled, “Thanks.”
Taemin was still blowing on the dice, eyeing Jinki’s hotels on park place and boardwalk, when Minho returned to his spot. They all knew if he landed on either of those he was done for. Five or seven would be his doom. He had an 80 percent chance of getting around it safely, but as he finally let go of his dice, one quickly landed on a four while the other kept rolling until it fell off the board onto the table in front of Minho. Face up was a three. “Fuck!”
“That’ll be two grand, please.”
“Don’t sound so smug,” Jonghyun rumbled, hand falling from his tummy to pat Jinki in the back of the head.
Taemin slowly went through flipping over his leftover properties and adding up their worths. Next were his few remaining houses and his one hotel. He had his little bit of cash gripped between both of his hands when he whipped his head up and asked, almost desperately. “If I blow you can I get a ‘get off boardwalk’ free card?”
Minho choked on the bit of leftover wine in Kibum’s discarded bottle he was attempting to swallow as Jinki snorted. “While I’d love for you to suck my cock, I’m going to have to decline.”
“Awh! Come on Babe, cut me some slack.”
“We’ve been playing for two hours, Taemin.” Jinki ran his fingers through his hair to get it from his eyes, tired smile on his face. “I want to end this quickly so we can sleep.”
Taemin sighed before pushing everything of his over to Jinki with a frown. “I guess I’ll admit defeat for that.”
Jinki gathered his payment in a neat little pile before gathering the dice and rolling. Minho wasn’t as bad off as Taemin had been, and causing him to go bankrupt would require more than just a single boardwalk landing. Moving three had him visiting in jail. Finishing his turn, he pushed the dice over towards Minho before focusing on organizing his newly acquired items. Out of the corner of his eye, he was aware of the man moving his piece the correct amount of spaces on the dice, managing to bypass Jinki’s dark green properties and landing right before Park Place. Taemin hissed out, “Lucky bastard.”
“I’m not safe yet, Bub.” Minho handed over the dice into Jinki’s palm with a grimace. “Remind me to never let Jinki get Boardwalk ever again.”
“You make it seem like you had a choice.” Jinki grinned as he began to shake the dice in his fist. “I’ll make you a bet, Baby.”
Minho’s eyebrow rose, intrigue shifting on his face. “Oh praytell.”
“Name a number, any number 2 through 12. If I roll it, you win without exceptions.”
“Just like that?”
“Just like that.”
“And if you don’t roll it?”
“We keep playing.”
With narrowed eyes, Minho agreed, holding out his hand to take Jinki’s to shake. “Agreed. The number is 12.”
After a few more shakes, Jinki let his fist open and the dice clattered across the board before slowly rolling to a stop. Two sixes were clear as day facing up, and Minho whooped startling both men on the couch. Kibum whined, glaring harshly as his nostrils flared with his quick breathing. Jinki sighed with a fond smile as he leaned over to kiss Minho on the cheek after rising to his knees. “Congratulations, Baby.”
-----
The water could be heard running through the open door of the bathroom. As well as the telltale sounds of Jonghyun brushing his teeth when the door hinge of the bedroom door squeaked. Coming through was Taemin, boxers low on his hips and hair a shaggy mess on his head. Jinki closed his book and pushed it on the bedside table with a smile. “Can I sleep with you two tonight?”
“Of course. Climb on in, Love.” Taemin beamed and half face planted into the middle of the mattress. Jinki shook his head even as he reached over to fix the younger man’s hair. “That is not what I meant.”
“It’s so fun to do it now.” He commented as he flopped onto his back and wiggled under the covers. “Thanks for not being in each other’s throats like the other two.”
With a snort, Jinki asked, “Oh, is that why you graced us with your presence?”
“Only half.” His cheeks were slightly pink with the admitted answers. “I also missed you two.”
"Kibum was half asleep when Minho helped him to bed, how'd that turn into sex?"
"Well they were bickering about Minho startling him awake at the end there and you know..." Taemin trailed off, but Jinki did know very well. Minho and Kibum arguing usually led to them having sex on the nearest surface, even the kitchen more times than Jinki wanted to admit he walked in on.
In the dim light of the bedside lamp and the open bathroom door, Taemin’s chest scars were visible. They were light pink as he was on the far end of his healing journey, but it still brought a smile to Jinki’s face to see the man so comfortable without his shirt on. Settling down beside him, Jinki rested his fingertips barely on the scars.“They’re healing very nicely.”
“Oh, yeah.” The warmth of his smile almost knocks the wind out of Jinki’s chest it’s so beautiful and free. It reminds him of just how far Taemin has come since they met almost four years before. Taemin snuggles closer, cheek squished with how close he moved into Jinki and trapping the older man’s hand between them. After removing it, Jinki wraps his arm around Taemin to keep him close. His voice is quiet and fluttery, as he relaxes in Jinki’s embrace. “You smell good.”
“Thank you.” Taemin’s breathing was slowing and by a quick glance down, it was obvious he was beginning to fall asleep. Jinki kissed his forehead softly, lingering for a few moments before barely moving away to whisper, “Goodnight, Baby.”
A few minutes later, Jonghyun shuffled out of the bathroom. He hooked up his phone to his charger and carefully sat on his side of the bed. He wiggled closer to Taemin, throwing an arm around his narrow waist and resting his chin on the younger man’s shoulder to gaze at Jinki. Pushing up slightly, he managed to catch Jinki’s lips softly. “Goodnight, Love.”
“Sweet dreams, beautiful.”
As they curled up, Jonghyun’s nose in the back of Taemin’s hair, Jinki’s chin resting on the top of Taemin’s head, and their legs a mess of limbs as they tried to find a comfortable spot, Jinki reached above him to turn the bedside lamp off by the switch on the headboard. He fell asleep with his arm over two of his lovers, smiling slightly as Jonghyun’s fingers tried to curl a little against his side. Sure, tomorrow they all had important things to finish, but right then none of that mattered. Jinki felt like he was finally home, wrapped up in the embrace of one of his lovers. A part of him wishes the other two were there too, but he would enjoy what he had, for it was more than enough.

Pairing: Sunhee/Jiyong
Series: SHINee 6th Member AU
Rating: Fluff
Synopsis: It’s baby Jjong’s birthday.
"Mommy! Mommy!"
Sunhee was pulled awake by her now three-year-old son jumping on her, a large smile on his face as he stared down at her. Yawning in exaggeration, Sunhee pulled him into a tight bear hug.
"Birthday!" Jjong beamed happily.
"I know, baby," Sunhee kissed his forehead as she rose from the bed, holding him on her hip, "What's Daddy been doing?"
After the words left her mouth, a loud thud sounded through the house. Sunhee shook her head and walked down the steps, finding her husband laying on the floor.
"What are you doing?" Sunhee asked.
"Childproofing the house," Jiyong stood up, "You know, for Minho's kids,"
"Jiyong, the triplets are seven," She kissed his cheek, "They won't get into any trouble, I promise,"
He murmured something under his breath before looking at his son, a large smile spreading across his cheeks as he plucked Jjong from Sunhee's arms.
"Mommy!" Jjong squirmed, "See Uncle?"
Stopping for a moment, Sunhee looked over at the calendar. In big letters was Jjong’s birthday, but it stuck out for another reason. Odd that her son was born on this particular day. Jiyong noticed her look.
“You can take him while I get things ready,” He explained.
“But-”
“Sunhee, just go, please,”
Sunhee smiled at him, kissing his cheek and taking their son, “I love you,”
Before Jiyong could respond, Jonghyun perked up, “I love you!”
Both parents laughed softly as Sunhee turned, getting the both of them ready while Jiyong continued to decorate the house. They were throwing a birthday party for Jjong this year, inviting more than family this time.
As soon as Jjong was strapped into the car, he gave his mother a cute smile before holding out his hands.
“Watch Uncle video?”
“We will listen this time, okay?’ Sunhee kissed his forehead.
Nodding, Jjong waited patiently as Sunhee set up the radio before starting the car. His hands clapped together as soon as the music began, Sunhee laughing softly at her son’s cute nature.
“Always be with you, you, you, you, you!” Jjong sang from the back seat, wiggling around.
It made Sunhee smile more, yet tears filled her eyes slightly. So many thing reminded her of Jonghyun, including her son. She sniffled softly, focusing on driving. It wasn’t too long of a drive, but long enough for her son to be bouncing out of his seat.
Jjong jumped on the spot as he waited from his mother, grasping her hand and practically leading the way to the grave. He knew which one it was, something they visited on both their birthdays.
“Uncle!” Jjong screamed, planting himself in front of the grave, “Birthday!”
“Yes, it’s your birthday,” Sunhee sat with him, “Are you excited?”
“Yeah!” He laughed, “Friends!”
“Taeil, Minhyuk, Minseo and Sulli are all coming over,” Sunhee smiled, “And Soyi with little Prince,”
The child smiled more, “I see Sulli!”
“Sulli’s your best friend, isn’t she?” Sunhee laughed softly.
“Sulli pretty,” Jjong smiled, “Uncle like Sulli?”
“Of course he would,” Sunhee explained, “Uncle is Sulli’s Uncle too,”
His face seemed to drop, “No Uncle mine!”
The two seemed to talk for hours, until Jjong was rubbing his eyes and yawning. Sunhee picked him up, walking back to the car and placing him the seat. It took moments for him to close his eyes and doze to sleep, Sunhee watching him in the review mirror.
Jiyong too was asleep when Sunhee arrived home, her husband asleep on the couch making it easy for her to place her sleeping son with him. Jjong curled up next to his father, thumb in his mouth as he slept on his back. Shaking her head at their similar positions, Sunhee walked back to the kitchen.
A letter sat on the bench, making her pick it up and open it. It was from their doctor, Sunhee having visited about two weeks ago. She pulled the letter out, reading through. Two words stuck out to her..
Positive: Pregnant.

Protector pt.11/?
Author: holographic-chogi
Pairing: fem!reader x skz
Warnings: animal death (hunting), swearing, and a gun
A/N: hi guys!! So I’m gonna uh...skip the usual late apology. I’m gonna stop announcing that I’m gonna post UNLESS I already have the chapter written. Also for anyone who doesn’t already know, Jiho is Zico (formally of block b). I decided to cut this chapter short because it ushers in some kinda big events. Also, we are actually slowly approaching where I originally intended protector to end...but I kinda enjoy writing for this series. I might do a sequel? It depends on if you guys would want that. Anyway, enjoy!
Summary: a virus has wiped out most of humanity, and society has collapsed. People survive in groups where they live in constant fear and a struggle to survive. Women were the primary victim of the virus, leaving few behind. You are one of the few, kept in secret since the beginning. However, you’ve just been caught.
Masterlist
The following morning, you woke up first. Jisung was curled around you just as tightly as he was before, and you couldn’t help but admire how peaceful he looked, in contrast to the distress from last night. Gently, you tried to move from his grasp, only for him to simply squeeze you tighter, nuzzling into your neck as he slept.
“Jisung…wake up.”
His eyes fluttered open, sleepily at first before widening, staring up at you. His voice was a tad raspy from sleep. “G-good morning…”
You smiled, “Can you let go of me please? I wanna go get something to eat.”
Looking at his arm, seemingly only just realizing that he was holding you, he scrambled to pull way. “Y-yeah! Sorry!”
You chuckled, climbing out of bed and making your way to the door with Jisung following behind. “Can you smell Felix’s cooking from here?”
The lack of response bothered you, so you turned around to face him. He stared at the ground in front of him, tugging at his fingers anxiously.
“Jisung, are you okay?”
He mumbled back quietly, barely audible. “I’m sorry about last night.”
You took a step closer, taking his hands in yours. “Jisung, don’t be sorry about that, you were hurting and I wouldn’t have wanted you to feel like that alone. Always talk to me.”
His voice became even quieter as he looked up at you, his eyes searching you for an answer. “Y/N, why are you so good?”
“So good?”
“You’re just…amazing. I don’t know what we did to deserve you.”
You chuckled, “You guys raided the cellblock. That’s what you did to deserve me.”
A small smile began to form on the young man’s face. “Oh…right.”
“But I mean it Jisung. I care about you so much, and I really don’t want you to hurt alone. You can always come see me.”
His smile grew, along with a slight blush on his cheeks, “Thank y-“
He was interrupted by a knock on your door, startling the both of you. Hyunjin’s voice sounded from the other side, “Y/N! Rise and shine! You gotta get something to eat before we head out!”
Jisung cocked an eyebrow, speaking quietly so only you could hear. “Head out?”
Crap. You forgot you had plans to hunt with Hyunjin. You weren’t sure if it was a great idea to leave Jisung on his own today. “Hold on Hyunjin, I’ll be right out!”
Jisung just stepped past you, opening the door to meet a confused Hyunjin, “What do you mean, head out?”
Hyunjin’s eyes narrowed, “What are you doing in here, Jisung?”
“None of your business. Where are you guys going?”
“Is it seriously not enough for you to be on her like flies on shit all day long? You have to be in here with her at night now too?”
You quickly stepped forward in between the two. “Guys, stop. Jisung, I’m going out to hunt with Hyunjin today, we kinda planned this awhile ago. And Hyunjin, it’s none of your business as to why Jisung was in here, but it really isn’t what you think.”
Hyunjin looked to Jisung angrily, but his gaze softened as he looked at you. “You’re right, Y/N. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to be invasive.”
Jisung spoke abruptly, “I’m going with you guys.”
Hyunjin rolled his eyes, “No, you’re not. We need to be quiet and going with a bunch of people is gonna be too loud. I can keep an eye on her, or whatever it is you do, for a few hours.”
You turned to Jisung, “He’s right. Two people are manageable but three are noisy. I’ll be fine, and I’ll be back soon, I promise.”
He looked defeated. “Chan okayed this?”
Hyunjin nodded, “I spoke to him this morning, everything’s cleared and ready to go.”
Jisung looked torn, he wanted to argue, but after the sweatshirt incident yesterday he knew he didn’t have the right. “Okay. I’ll see you later. Be safe.”
You gave him a quick hug, and pulled away to see him pouting. “See you later, Grumpy. I’ll catch something special for ya.”
Growing impatient, Hyunjin pulled on your shirt, “Let’s go! Breakfast, remember?”
You nodded and sprinted with him down the hall. Once out of earshot of Jisung, you asked, “How did you get Chan to agree?”
“I didn’t, so we need to head out fast. “
After the two of you expertly wove your way out of from the back entrance of the fence, you felt a cold hair hit your cheeks. You could tell the first snow would come any day now.
In one hand, you held the birch recurve from Hyunjin’s collection, a bow that you’d had an eye on for quite some time. When you had mentioned it earlier that week, Hyunjin insisted you keep it, claiming he had plenty and really “wouldn’t mind parting with it.”
The forest itself, starting only about 100 meters from the back entrance, was dense and unkempt. The once clear paths have been overgrown and swept over from disuse, making it difficult for most people to pass through. Luckily, Hyunjin and you weren’t most people.
Something you had noticed from the very beginning, is that due to the lack of human activity, the animals had become slower, and less responsive. Almost making the job too easy. Besides this, you weren’t only looking for meat. You had your eyes peeled for any useful plants or produce to bring back. Felix was an excellent farmer but there was no way he could sustain crops in the winter. Lucky for them, they have you.
After a bit of searching, Hyunjin and you had come across a small jackpot. A cluster of about six pheasants were fluttering amongst themselves on the forest floor, probably in search of food for the cold months ahead. Nowadays, you found yourself able to relate much more to what you hunted. You and your prey were only just trying to survive.
A hushed, but urgent voice sounded from beside you, “Are you ready? How many do you think you can get before they get past the trees?”
You squinted, “Three for sure, maybe four. Can you handle the rest?”
He scoffed, “Can I handle the rest? Of course I can, it’s like two or three shots.” He pulled his first arrow back, bending the beautiful red oak wood of his longbow, “Don’t go underestimating me, Y/N.”
You smirked, “Then show me what you can do.” You paused, “Now!”
Arrows flew and a flurry of feathers seemed to go in all directions. Ultimately, you and Hyunjin had each hit three.
You ran up to the fallen birds and began to fill up one of the burlap sacks you’d brought with you; Hyunjin trailing behind and helping you bag them up.
When he reached for one of the pheasants in front of you, you had noticed some kind of bizarre markings on his hand. You didn’t quite think before absentmindedly grabbing said hand and inspecting it. He tried to pull it away, but not before you saw what they were.
The markings were little white scars in the shape of crescents, across the top of his hand. Four to be exact. Worry laced your tone, “Hyunjin, what are those?”
He ran his thumb gently across the surface of the scars, staring at them with what almost seemed like a distant fondness, “Do you remember that day the dog got in, and we had to stitch you up?”
Then it hit you. You remembered how hard you had grasped that hand as Minho fixed your wound. Those little crescents were the marks your nails had left in his skin. “Hyunjin...I’m so sorry. I had no idea I squeezed that hard.”
He shrugged, “I don’t mind at all. It hurt when it happened but you were going through worse. Not to mention, I’m a pretty tough cookie.”
“But the scars…”
“What about it? I actually kind of like them. They look like four little moons on my hand.” His gaze saddened, “Not to mention, if you ever go away, they’ll be a little something I can remember you by.”
There it is again. You wish they would stop reminding you of your predicament. “When I leave. Right. Because that’s all you people seem to want to talk about.”
His eyes snapped up, “What do you mean?”
“I mean both you, Minho and Jisung have brought up to me in the last twenty-four hours. The whole situation is shit.”
He looked at you knowingly, “Right. Because if he doesn’t come get you, you’ve been abandoned. But if he does come get you, you have to leave. And I know you don’t want to.”
Of course Hyunjin gets it. You’re glad at least someone knows you want to stay. Hyunjin always seems to understand you when others fail to do so. “I wish Jiho could come back just so I’d know that our friendship wasn’t for nothing. We’ve been through too much together for him to leave me behind so easily. There has to be something else to this.”
He looked at you knowingly, “I hope he comes back for you too. I want you to stay, just like everyone else here, but you don’t deserve to be abandoned. For all we know, there is something else to it.”
You nodded and wiped away a tear with the sleeve of your coat, tying the bag as you continued to speak, “I hope he comes back, but I’m not sure yet if I’m leaving. It’s a lot to decide, and he’s not exactly here yet.”
Hyunjin’s nodded in response, his mouth opening to speak before he suddenly froze, his eyes widening in fear. He spoke very quietly in a dangerously serious voice. “Y/N, get behind me.”
You heart sank, terrified of whatever it was behind you that he was staring at. You moved towards him, and he quickly grabbed your arm, pulling you behind him.
And then you saw him.
He stood beneath a pine tree, gun in hand, pointed directly at Hyunjin. His greasy, unkempt black hair stuck to the sweat on his oh-so-familiar face, despite the cold weather. Despite his short stature, you knew this man was a serious threat.
Hyunjin’s voice was low and full of danger, despite the gun aimed at his chest. “Who the fuck are you?”
His name was Taeil. You remembered that name, along with the feeling of his fist on your jaw. The searing pain that spread across your face from the blow felt like yesterday. He was all too eager to lay on the punishment back at the cell block.
He was one of them.
His response was ragged, “Doesn’t matter who I am. Why is she with you?”
“Don’t fucking look at her.”
“Answer the question.”
Hyunjin tucked you further behind him, “There are eight more men very close by. You’re outnumbered. If you hurt her you best believe you’re a fucking dead man.”
Taeil stared daggers into him. “I’m not going to kill her. Jiho would want me to bring her back.”
Your blood went cold. So Jiho was still with them after all. Hyunjin tensed in front of you, seemingly not knowing what to do. You answered instead. “I’m not going anywhere with you, Taeil. If Jiho wants to see me,” You inhaled, gathering all of your courage, “He can come fucking find me himself.”
Taeil’s eyes narrowed, “Mouthy nowadays, aren’t we? We both know that isn’t how you speak to me.”
Hyunjin scoffed, “Fuck off pipsqueak. She’ll talk to you however she wants.” He looks back at you, before looking back at him, “Tell Jiho that if he wants to talk to her, he’ll have to come to the farmhouse.”
You exhale, unsuccessfully hiding the shakiness of your breath. Hyunjin reached behind himself and held your hand, eyes still focused on the man in front of him. “Leave, Taeil. Before I call in backup.”
Taeil took one last look at you, seething in hatred, before turning to leave, disappearing as quickly as he appeared.
Hyunjin turned to you, gaze full of worry, before pulling you into a tight hug, “Are you okay?”
Your voice came out in a whisper, “I don’t know.”
“Who was that guy?”
“Someone I never want to see again.”
“Do you think he’s going to tell Jiho?”
“Yes. And I don’t know what’ll happen when he does.”

ive only felt religion when ive lied with you- 1
A/N: (smut, Chan x reader, Canon compliant, fan/idol)
The sun peeped in at you through the small slit in the curtains. Your eyes fluttered open and then closed again. You laid there in a beautiful mix of sleep and awake when suddenly you realized you were late for work. You sat up and became perplexed at your surroundings, this was definitely not your room.
Wait, where am I… you started to wonder.
You looked over to see Robyn lying next to you, still asleep looking quite peaceful and hugging her Chimmy plushie. Then you realized you weren’t at home, and this wasn’t just any day, this was the day you were going to meet Stray Kids.
Your heart began to speed up at your sudden realization. You looked around the room and empty cans of hard cider littered the bedside table. Last night’s pad Thai was sitting on the dresser, probably harboring god knows how many bacteria after sitting out at room temperature all night. You felt a tinge of nausea at the thought of it, or any food for that matter.
Oh god. Am I going to be able to eat today? I have to eat, I’ll never be able to stand in line and make it through the concert if I don’t eat. Let alone have the strength to survive MEETING THEM at hi-touch.
You pushed your hair behind your ears, closed your eyes and focused on your breathing.
Not today, anxiety. It’s too early for this bullshit.
Your therapist had taught you to talk to your anxiety like it was a person. Speaking of him, God bless that man for listening to you over the past several months preparing for this day. You had drilled him for an endless amount of coping mechanisms in order make sure that you, quite literally, didn’t faint when you met the nine boys who seemingly occupied your every thought.
You rolled out of bed as cautiously as you could, so you didn’t wake Robyn. You walked to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. Your hair was stuck to the side of your head and you had sleep still in the corners of your eyes. You decided to take a shower and think about what to have for breakfast.
The hot water beat into your skin and steam began to fill the bathroom. You inhaled deeply. Trying to focus on the present and not psych yourself out about the night ahead.
You’re just giving them a high five. Hundreds of fans will get to do the same. They definitely won’t remember you, you’ll blend in with the millions of other girls who are desperately in love with them.
This thought calms you for a moment. Being rational in situations of stress wasn’t particularly your strong suit, so you were happy with this little victory.
When you got out of the shower you checked your phone. You had several notifications from Instagram from realstraykids. Hyunjin was posting selfies and talking about being excited for the concert tonight. Swiping through the pictures he took with other members, Chris got your attention. His hair was a golden blonde and was starting to grow so long, it looked like a borderline mullet with the way it was styled.
“Chris with a mullet steals my soul!!!!” you commented on the picture and then put your phone away.
You walked back into the room and Robyn was awake. You took one look at her and burst into the most high pitched squeal you could manage.
Well. Being calm was nice while it lasted.
“Good god, y/n. Are you gonna be like this all day?” Robyn asked, already looking done with your shit.
Robyn didn’t originally stan Stray Kids. You introduced them to her after you got the tickets. You had been to kpop concerts with her in the past so she seemed like the obvious choice to go with you. You had invited Robyn over a couple months ago and had a “hard intro to Stray Kids” Youtube watching session. Which had included videos like “stray kids on crack” and “a super shitty and unhelpful guide to stray kids.” She eventually chose two biases, Minho and Jisung. When she had told you later that night you were overjoyed because you had predicted who she would bias.
“NO WAY!!!!” you had screeched, “I texted my friend earlier and predicted you would bias them! Just so I could show you when I was right!”
What could you say, you love Robyn, but she has a certain type that always wrecks her. Pretty baby faces and strong vocals. You couldn’t blame her though, they were both an excellent choice.
You snapped back to the present.
“Uh no. I’m calm, I just, uh… yeah I’m gonna be like this all day.” You confessed.
Thank God I have a friend brave enough to put up with me.
The morning went by faster than you thought it would. You all ordered breakfast and spent the morning watching Jinyoung’s new kdrama. You wanted to get to the venue early-ish because even though you had good tickets, you were still GA and didn’t want to be shoved completely to the back of your section.
You had spent months picking the perfect outfit that you would feel confident in to meet them. It was May so you weren’t sure about the weather, but you decided to bank on it being hot outside. You chose a sleeveless shirt that was metallic gold, with a bow that tied around the front and buttoned down. You had also chosen a skort set that looked like a black mini-skirt but actually had shorts underneath and low-top combat boots to complete the look. You curled your hair and tried to give it as much volume as possible. Not that it would matter, you knew it would be matted to your head with sweat by the end of the concert. But hey, you gotta look good for the pics for the ‘gram, right?
You arrived at the venue and was baking outside under the morning sun, it was sweltering, you didn’t expect this for May. Your skin was baking under the late spring sun. You definitely had a sunburn and had only been in line for an hour.
Why on Earth did I wear a tank top...I’m not gonna be able to raise my arm to high five them without the smell knocking them down!
Suddenly an image of Jeongin falling backward at the smell of your body odor made you laugh out loud. You could see the headlines now, “kpop fangirl’s body odor causes singer to faint.” I mean, it would be hilarious, mortifying, but hilarious.
The concert was a blur, as always. You sang along to all the words you knew and your voice felt hoarse towards the end. You couldn’t believe how close you were to them. The venue was much smaller than you had anticipated. The light was shining off of them and their sweat made them glisten. You were so close you could see their muscles rippling under their denim when they danced.
Felix began talking to the fans about how much he loves us and wants to keep performing well for us. Felix and Changbin are my biases so I was completely engulfed in his cute Aussie accent being spoken 40 feet from me. It was almost too much. The members were fanned out across the stage while he talked and Chris drifted over to the side I was on. The girls and boys around me went wild trying to speak to him but he probably couldn’t hear them.
Rude. My baby Felix is having a moment and y’all are acting like idiots trying to talk over him.
Robyn elbowed me hard in the rib.
“Y/n,” she breathed, “Chris is staring in our direction.”
You looked over and locked eyes with him. You froze. You always thought you knew what you would do if you came face to face with one of your idols. But you were wrong. You didn’t feel the way you had predicted at all. You thought your knees would buckle. You thought you would scream or perhaps cry. But you didn’t. You couldn’t describe the feeling that came over you under his gaze. You couldn’t describe it other than feeling totally confident and empowered for the first time in a long time. You realized you needed to react before he looked away so you winked and attempted to look sexy. Then he raised an eyebrow at you, kept your gaze and went back to get in line for the next song.
WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT! WHY DID I WINK? WHO DOES THAT OH MY GOD.
You were going though it inside and Robyn could tell.
“Um, what was that?? Girl, you just had an interaction with him!” Robyn whispered in your ear.
You looked around and none of the concert-goers around you seemed to notice. No one was looking at you. You began to wonder if you imagined it. Your cheeks were burning a fiery red and your stomach felt like it was being assaulted with a swarm of butterflies.
How am I going to face him at hi-touch after that?? God y/n you were supposed to try to blend in.
You told your inner voice to fuck off, just like your therapist had taught you. But the rest of the concert, you couldn’t keep your eyes off Chris.
You were standing in line for hi-touch and your knees were buckling. You felt like your entire body was on edge and your insides were being electrocuted.
“You’re going to pass out if you keep holding your breath, y/n.” Robyn quietly reminded you. You suddenly realized you had been holding your breath.
“How did I get here? Maybe we should just run.” You said in a panicked voice.
Robyn looked you up and down like you had just spoken another language.
“Y/n, we’re not being marched to our deaths, we’re meeting this band that you have been obsessing over for months! Get it together! Breathe!” Robyn said while starting to shake you.
She’s right. What the hell is wrong with you. You paid so much money for these tickets and your bank account is still recovering. You’re doing this.
The line was starting to move faster than you would like. You got closer and closer to where you knew the boys were standing. You saw them in the distance and suddenly realized how tall they were in real life. You should’ve anticipated this since you already knew you were shorter than the shortest member.
They’re just people. They’re just boys. You talk to boys all the time.
You started to calm down. Until you locked eyes with Chris in the distance.
What was it about his gaze that made you take on a totally different attitude and mindset? Five seconds earlier you were contemplating running again. Now it felt like all of Earth’s gravity was holding you here in this one spot, like this was the only place you were ever supposed to be at this moment in time. You felt confident under his gaze, you felt bold.
You’re still not sure what possessed you, but you broke the gaze to start searching through your purse. You found a receipt and quickly ripped a small piece of the end. The line was moving and you were forced to walk while ransacking your purse. You finally found a pen. You tried to be as nonchalant as you could so you didn’t attract attention from other fans.
As sneakily as you could, you quickly scribbled: Kakao y/n0325.
Good god, why did I put their debut date in my name on there…I’m such a psycho. That’s so embarrassing.
But you didn’t have time to ponder on that because it was almost your turn. You didn’t have a plan. You didn’t know how you were going to get this to him without being noticed, but you did know that it felt right and you wanted to do it. Chris was the last member in the lineup.
Woojin was first. You had already planned out what you were going to say to each of them. You got up to him and his chocolate brown hair was gleaming in the fluorescence. Your hands met and you felt your mind go blank, he was smiling at you as you grappled with your words in your head.
“YOUR VOICE IS LIKE HONEY,” you blurted out, half-yelling at the poor man.
He just laughed and said thank you as you moved on.
Minho was looking at you smiling with his hand up. You didn’t struggle as long with finding words this time.
“I’m so proud of you, I love you to death,” You said as you passed by.
He laughed and said thank you in the cutest accent you’ve ever heard.
Changbin was next. Your bias, which made your thoughts become even more erratic than they had been before. You just started smiling uncontrollably and said “Hiiiiii, I love you Changbinnie” and he looked back at you fondly and said he loved you too.
You were face to face with Hyunjin before you realized it and my, was he good looking, it was like an angel was literally standing in front of you.
“You’re even cuter in person,” you said as fast as you could while touching hands with him. He just laughed and nodded in response.
You couldn’t think of anything else, your mind was at overload when you met Felix, Jisung, Jeongin and Seungmin. So you just told them you loved them as fast and as many times as you could.
When you got to Chris, you finally looked up at him and felt a shiver rip through your core. Your heart felt like it had dropped into your stomach. You felt like you were in an elevator that was falling down with reckless abandon. You raised your right hand up to give him a high five. Your hand was empty. But at the last second you switched and raised your left hand up as quickly as you could and the piece of paper was between your hands. You moved your hand slightly so he could feel it and finally spoke.
“It’s so nice to finally meet you, but this just isn’t long enough.” You said with all the confidence you could muster.
His eyes sparked as he realized what you were doing. He moved his hand and quickly closed it and put it in his pocket.
“Oh yes, I agree,” he said, very coolly with that unmistakable smile that he always shows the world. The smile that you had become so fond of over the last several months. The smile that gave fans hope all around the world and now, at this moment, he was smiling because of you.
For the second time that night, Robyn looked at you in disbelief as you rounded the corner in the hall way exiting the venue.
“Y/n, you’re the smoothest human alive,” she said with a shocked expression on her face.
You suddenly busted into cackling laughter. It overwhelmed you and wracked your body. Bubbling up from your core. You couldn’t control it. You’re sure you were unnerving everyone near you with your maniacal laughter. Everyone knows, nothing comes good after maniacal laughter. You laughed until your abdominal muscles ached, and tears were spilling down your cheeks.
“That was the best time of my life,” you said in between bouts of laughter.
Robyn started laughing too and you two called a cab to head back to your hotel.
You tried not to dwell on your interaction with Chris. He had been nice and a bit flirty, but he was like that with all Stays. You had watched countless youtube compilations of your idols flirting with fans. It was normal. It was nothing special. That’s what you told yourself when you arrived back in your hotel room and your heart was still fluttering in your chest, refusing to return to its normal pace.
Hey, I’m going at my own pace, Chris would at least be proud of that.
You suddenly started laughing again at your own thoughts and told Robyn you were getting in the shower. She was probably very thankful for this, after the events of the day and the copious amounts of sweat you had shed. You turned on your slow kpop playlist and once again let the steam fill up the room while the water beat down on you. You put your head up against the tile wall of the shower and let the water envelop you.
I had an interaction with Chris. Fans have interactions with their idols all the time at concerts. He was very charismatic, you already knew that. Stop overthinking it and just be happy you made these memories with them, y/n.
Your heart rate began to slow and you focused on the water and the steady hum the shower made. Tomorrow you and Robyn were going into the city and it was going to be a good day. You were going to have a good day with your friend and recount concert memories. Life was good.
You stepped out of the shower and grabbed your phone to turn off the playlist. Butterfly by BTS was playing and you were about to sing along for a few words when you checked your notifications.
You had a few comments on your Instagram posts but your eyes glazed over when you saw what was next.
A notification from Kakao, a notification from none other than Christopher Bang himself.

“Hey, hey, hey,” Jin got up from the couch, running towards you so that he could block your path, “Where do you think you're going dressed like that?”
“Why are you going out at this hour?” Jimin furrowed his eyebrows.
“More importantly.. who are you going out with at this hour?” Taehyung finally asked.
See, this is exactly why you had hoped you could sneak out without any of them noticing. Because of questions like that, that couldn't be answered because the person you would go out with was already on the other side of the door and you had absolutely no chance to be there before three of your brothers were.
“Hyung?” Taehyung's eyes widened as he looked at Minho, a bouquet of flowers in his hands, “What are you doing here?”
“I'm.. actually here for (Y/N),” he smiled, clearly unsure whether or not that answer was the right one.
Jin was still standing next to you, his jaw now what looked like at the floor as he slowly turned his head to look at you.
You just shrugged happily.
Truth be told, you never thought he'd ask you out. You thought he'd smile at you in passing or be polite to you and that would have been enough for you. But when he had texted you and had asked if you wanted to have dinner with him? Your heart didn't just skip one, but a million beats, not quite believing your luck.
“Why?” Jeongguk crossed his arms in front of your chest, “Do you know how late it is?”
“Don't worry,” Minho laughed, “I'll bring her back before midnight, I promise.”
You finally walked towards the door, a little shy, but still excited, “Hey..”
“You look beautiful..”
You pushed Namjoon to the side so that you could stand in front of Minho, taking the flowers out of his hand, “Thank you.. and thank you for the flowers. I love them.”
This would have been a moment. You and Minho, staring at each other like you were so in love with each other.. if it weren't for all seven of your brothers now standing in the doorway, staring at you and making you both extremely uncomfortable.
“I'll just.. put them in water. I'll be right back.”
But as soon as you were gone, the questions started attacking Minho all at once.
“Why are you going out with her?”
“What's your deal, Minho?”
“Is this serious?”
“Do you actually like her?”
All at the same time and he was still just chuckling, keeping his cool, “I know you're worried about her, but you don't have to be. I'm not planning on playing her, if that's what you're afraid of.”
“See?” Taehyung grinned proudly, “I told you I had the best friends.”
“She likes Jackson too,” Namjoon commented.
“Kihyun as well,” Yoongi shrugged, “So don't act like she only likes your friends.”
This was a weird competition they had between each other.
Thankfully enough, you came back a second later, grabbing Minho's hand when he offered it, “I'll be back before 12, okay?”
“Don't do anything stupid!” Jin said, crossing his arms in front of his chest like a father who watched his daughter go on her first date.
“I won't,” you laughed and walked with him towards the elevator. And as soon as the doors were closed you shook your head, “I'm so sorry.. they can be.. a lot sometimes.”
“I told you before, I don't mind that. I'm glad someone's looking out for you,” his eyes. They were looking at you with so much adoration as his thumb was brushing over your hand and god.. he was amazing and breathtakingly beautiful and he was going out with you.
And you couldn't wait for this night. Finally getting to know him, telling him how much you admire him and SHINee in general.. maybe finally having that kiss that you wanted so badly.
If only you knew that upstairs, two of your brothers started getting dressed, while the others were standing in their bedroom.
“Pretend like you're only having dinner. If she spots you, tell her you got hungry as well. And if he tries to kiss her..-”
“Don't worry,” Jimin put on his face mask and sunglasses, “We know what to do.”
Hoseok nodded, suddenly feeling a lot like James Bond as they were rushing down the stairs, ready to follow you.
They told themselves they were doing this just in case they had to interfere. In case you needed them. But in all honesty, they just had a hard time accepting that you were on a date..
..you were their baby sister. The one that came to them at night when she couldn't sleep and that always wanted to get hugs and kisses.
They were jealous now.. jealous that you would stop doing that and only hang with Minho.
You didn't know of any of that, didn't even see them when they sat down four tables behind you in that restaurant, still wearing sunglasses and face masks so that you wouldn't recognize them.
“Order whatever you want.. I'll pay.”
“You don't have to,” you chuckled.
“I want to,” his hand reached over the table again to interlink his fingers with yours, “So.. order whatever you want.”
“Ugh, look at them,” Hoseok leaned back, crossing his arms in front of his chest, “She used to that with me..”
“Minho is nice.. but.. he's too old for her, right? I mean.. we're just looking out for her. We just want her to date someone her age.”
But did they really?
If you were to date an idol your age, they would come up with another excuse, let's be real.
Anyways, Minho and you had a great time.
You were laughing, you were talking, you were flirting.. well, he was flirting, you were just blushing, really. But he seemed to like that a lot that you became shy when he was complimenting you. Every time you would, a smile so big would spread on his lips and make you realize yet again how beautiful this man was.
You were in a secluded area in this restaurant, were actually pretty sure that this was the area the idols always were seated so they had a bit of privacy. There were a couple of other people here but the only one you could really focus on was Minho, especially when he asked you to sit next to him on the bench because he wanted to take a selfie.
He did take one.. but he also took that opportunity, to grab your chin afterwards and lean down to..-
“(Y/N)! Oh my god, you're here too?” Hoseok sat down on the chair opposite of you, Jimin pulling another one to the table so that he was sitting as well, “Jimin and I got so hungry.. what a coincidence that you're here.”
Minho sighed deeply, clearing his throat as you could feel his arm leave your shoulder and drop to his side a moment later.
“Yes. A big coincidence, don't you think?” you narrowed your eyes at them, a fake smile on your face.
“Oh, you know how much we love this restaurant,” Jimin grinned, finally taking off glasses and face mask, “Anyways.. how was your night? Did you enjoy yourselves?”
“Great, before you two showed up,” you muttered under your breath.
“What was that?”
“I said great,” you nodded, that fake smile back, “Fantastic, really. You being here makes it ten times better, obviously,” you spat with sarcasm.
Minho couldn't help but smirk, hiding it as he raised his drink to his lips.
So much for finally getting that kiss..
..you didn't even get more than a hug when he dropped you and your brothers off later, mainly because they were watching you two like hawks.
Yes. Because the nice guy that Minho was, he had decided to drive not just you home, but your brothers as well.
And it had been the most awkward car ride in the history of car rides.
“I'll call you,” he whispered into your ear, “Thank you for tonight.”
“I'm sorry that they interrupted..”
“No worries,” he chuckled, leaning back to look at the two, realizing that he couldn’t do anything else, like kiss you, unless he wanted to get killed tonight, “Enjoy your night..”
“You too, Minho!”
And as soon as he was gone, you turned around and started hitting both boys with your handbag, “You are such assholes!”
“What?! We only wanted to have dinner!”
“No, you wanted to spy on me!”
The others opened the door when they heard your voice, “Wow.. did you run into each other? That’s so weird!” Taehyung said.
“You were all in on this, right?”
Well then, your handbag could handle a few more victims.
It was only a week later that you saw him again at an award show. You were without your brothers, about to go on stage because you had to present an award with another idol, he was set to perform with his band soon.
“Hey,” you grinned happily, “You look good..”
“So do you. I wanted to tell you before, but I was scared the others might hit me.”
“I dealt with them after our date,” you chuckled, “They got their beating.”
“Ah, come on.. they were..-”
“Stop saying that,” you put your finger over his lips, that smile still on your face, “They're being overprotective and jealous. That's what they were.”
“Well..,” he wrapped his hand around your wrist and pulled it down, his other hand coming up to cup your face, “They're not here now, are they?”
“Nope. Thankfully not, otherwise..-” but he had already leaned down and pressed his lips against yours, earning a surprised yelp from you. You quickly relaxed after that moment of shock, leaning into the kiss and giving yourself to him fully.
It was long overdue, but maybe the wait had been good, because now it felt even more special. You had been looking forward to this moment for so long..
And Minho really didn't disappoint.
He knew that the amount of times he’d catch you like this, fully alone were rare. So he wanted to do this now. Wanted to feel your lips against his and your body close.
Jisoo and Jennie had just come back from the toilet, Jisoo grinning and nudging her band members’ side, “Remember that money I gave you? I want it back.”
“Come on.. I was sure she was dating Jungkook,” she sighed and rolled her eyes, upset that she lost that bet, even though she thought she had won it, “They were acting like a couple!”
“They weren't kissing though,” she giggled and wrapped her arm around Jennie’s shoulder, “I want my money baaaack.”
“Ugh, I really hate you.”
And while they were bickering, you wrapped your arms around Minho’s neck and he pulled you closer by your waist, both of you doing this for as long as you could.
