The first thing you notice when you wake up is that this is not your room.
Blackout curtains, a lamp on the bedside table painting the walls in a warm glow, navy blue sheets that are pulled over your bare chest and—oh.
Oh.
“Fuck,” you mutter, throwing your arm over your eyes, “Fuck, fuck, fuck.”
Everything comes flooding back in an instant: the bar, dark curly hair, one too many drinks, a voice low in your ear, stumbling through his apartment door, the most ripped arms you’ve ever seen, and that tongue—
The sound of a door unlocking shakes you from your thoughts, followed by shoes being kicked off as you scramble to sit up and hug the sheet tighter around your body.
What was his name—Changbin? Changbin. That sounds right. At least from the memories you have where it was coming out in strangled moans from your throat. Which is dry, by the way, undoubtedly from the amount of alcohol and the…strain it was put through.
You don’t really have time to unpack that particular part of last night’s events when there’s a knock at the door—funny, because this is his room.
Flattening your back against the headboard, you clear your throat as best you can, “Come in.”
When it opens, Changbin’s head pops through, tufts of his hair sticking out from under a baseball cap. “Hey,” he says softly before stepping all the way in. He takes one look at you, your hands holding the bedsheet in a death grip, and wordlessly walks over to his dresser.
“I bought food,” he says with his back turned, pulling out a sweatshirt. He pulls out a few sweatpants too, shuffles through them until he finds some with a drawstring, and then turns back around to face you with the clothes held in his hand.
He looks…apologetic? Nervous? Really, really cute? That’s not a question, actually. He is cute.
You’re not sure if it’s the fact that you’re seeing him in better lighting for the first time, or maybe because you’re sober, or maybe because the only other image you have of him is when he’s hovering over your body and making you see stars, but you can’t help the little fluttering feeling that starts in your chest when he gives you a small smile.
“Your dress is kind of…I, uh…it’s ripped.”
Your eyebrows shoot up in shock at the same time you feel heat rush to your cheeks. “Oh,” is all you can say as you desperately try to remember that part of the night. Hands are all you see, big and strong, and you silently let your gaze fall to them as he moves forward to place the clothes at the foot of the bed.
“Yeah,” he rubs the back of his neck, “You can have these. They should fit you, and I don’t mind losing them. Consider it my reimbursement for ruining your dress.”
You lean forward slowly, still holding the blanket to your chest, and Changbin has to stop himself from staring at the exposed skin of your shoulder when your hair falls forward in the process. “These are—” your eyes go wide, “Balenciaga?!”
He blinks like you didn’t just name drop a brand that sells singular articles of clothing for double your paycheck. “Yeah?”
“I can’t take this.”
“Why not?”
“This costs more than me,” you say incredulously.
He moves to argue, but then a slow grin starts to spread across his face. He tones it down, minimizes it to a single upturn of the left side of his mouth. “I mean, you don’t have to wear anything. I don’t mind either way.” Changbin smirks, and you narrow your eyes.
“However,” he continues, “I would really, really like to see you in my clothes.”
🎳
“He gave you a what hoodie?” Felix’s voice is distant on the other end of the line. The clicking of his keyboard stops, there’s a rustle, and then suddenly his mouth is a lot closer to the speaker than it’d previously been.
Changbin’s en suite is huge, just like his bedroom. Once he slipped out to give you privacy, claiming he was going to set up the food, you’d allowed yourself to fully take in your surroundings. A california king sized bed, a walk in closet, an attached bathroom with a balcony.
You sigh, leaning back against the marble sink. Changbin’s sweats sit low on your hips, his hoodie all but swallowing your figure into the material.
“That’s not the point, Felix. Were you even listening to me? An entire five minute monologue about how I’m in his house and all you care about is the Balenciaga?”
“Does he have any, like, really hot friends?”
“Felix.”
“Wait. Is he really hot?”
“Felix!” you bring a hand to your forehead, using your thumb and middle finger to rub at the spots just above your eyebrows. “You’re not helping here.”
“Okay,” Felix says, his voice low, “It’s just that I’m having an issue seeing what the problem is.” You pinch the bridge of your nose to fight the oncoming headache as Felix rambles on.
“This guy brought you back to his place, rocked your world, and then what? Cuddled you? Bought you breakfast? Gave you his clothes that are worth more than my car and is now waiting for you to come out of his bathroom and enjoy a nice meal? And that’s bad because…?”
“You know what? I’m hanging up.”
“The hell you are! I left my fucking fortnite match for this! You’d better go out there and—” You slam your phone down on the bathroom counter, the sound echoing. If Felix wasn’t going to validate your very unnecessary nerves, then so be it.
You stare at yourself in the mirror, unfamiliar with the person looking back. It’s a little jarring, the sight of you in someone else’s clothes. A man’s clothes, no less.
It’s been a long time since you’ve had anything close to this sort of…intimacy. Hookups are normal for you, sure. But the mornings after are usually never more than a hurried goodbye as you gather your things and haul ass out the door. Most of the time you don’t even stay, sobered up enough after your post-coital state to slip out into the night and call an uber.
Your memory had come back in full as you were slipping Changbin’s clothes on once he left the room. The sex was great—amazing even. But afterwards, when he turned over and slipped an arm around your waist and hooked his chin on your shoulder was what really scared you.
Okay, maybe scared is an exaggeration. You aren’t scared, it’s just been a while. So what if you don’t crave male validation? Sex is the fun part anyways. Dating doesn’t necessarily go well for you, and feelings are definitely off the table when it comes to hookups. Because that’s all it is: a hookup. Changbin is no different.
You give yourself a total of thirty more seconds before braving a step out into the hallway, sheepishly peeking around the corner.
The apartment is unsurprisingly huge as well: a high ceiling, intricate marble flooring, a chandelier hung in the center of the living room that reflects the sunlight coming in from the floor-to-wall windows on the opposite side.
“Woah,” you say to no one in particular, walking into the dining room area, “This place is intense.”
Changbin looks up from his phone. His hat is off now, a mop of curls sit messily on his head, thick-rimmed glasses are situated at the tip of his nose, his arms—straining against the fabric of his black t-shirt—rest heavily on the table. You watch as he lets his eyes travel the length of you, painfully slow, something unreadable behind them.
“Food’s ready,” is all he says with a smile.
You sit down across from him, eyes wide. It’s like he bought out the entirety of an IHOP while you were asleep. There’s pancakes and waffles, hash browns and toast, an assortment of fruit, two different omelets, two cups of coffee, and at least five different types of syrup options.
“Are we…” you trail off, meeting his expectant gaze, “…expecting other people?”
Changbin nervously scratches his chin. “No, uh, I just—I didn’t know what you liked. And you were sleeping, so…yeah. I tried to cover all the bases.”
When you don’t respond, your eyes transfixed on him, he clears his throat. “Please eat,” he says, extending a hand to gesture at the food, “Let me know if there’s anything else you want.”
“Thank you,” you say, grabbing a fork. Changbin waits until he’s certain you don’t immediately hate it and then starts to eat, too.
It’s quiet, comfortable, sounds of cutlery clinking against plates are the only thing filling the silence as the two of you try to soothe your hangovers with full stomachs. You steal glances at him throughout, watch the way his lips pout when he chews, and then shyly look back down at your plate when he catches you staring. It’s kind of sweet, the idea that he did all this despite only having met you twelve hours ago.
It should be more awkward, too. You’re going to have to talk at some point. There’s an elephant in the room that’s shaped a lot like post-nut clarity mixed with morning-after regret and neither of you are making a move to address it.
“So um, about last night…” Changbin starts a few minutes later. He looks nervous, like he doesn’t know how to vocalize what he plans on saying next.
You nod, putting your fork down. This was to be expected. “I’ll be out as soon as I’m done eating, don’t worry.” Changbin’s head snaps in your direction. “It was really nice of you to get food and stuff, so thank you. I can put my dress back on too so that way I don’t have to take—”
“What?” Changbin furrows his eyebrows, “No. Wait. I’m not kicking you out, Jesus.”
You blink. “You’re not?”
“Of course not.” He stills. “Is that how these things usually go for you?”
Well that isn’t exactly a question you planned on answering. What are you supposed to say? Yeah haha I actually just kind of leave before they have a chance to come back from the bathroom?
“I mean, is that not how it goes for you?”
The blush that spreads across Changbin’s cheeks is hard to ignore. “I don’t—uh…I don’t do this.”
“You don’t buy girls breakfast after you sleep with them?”
“No I don’t—I don’t bring girls home.” He admits.
Oh.
“So I’m…?” The first, you want to ask.
“Yeah.”
Oh.
You’ve never been in this situation before. Apparently that’s Changbin’s specialty: helping you experience things that you normally wouldn’t.
“Listen,” he starts again, licking his lips. His leg is bouncing nervously, visible through the glass table. “I didn’t intend to sleep with you last night. Not because I didn’t want to! Fuck, I—I wanted to. And it was…God, it was amazing. But I feel kind of bad, because everything is out of order and I don’t want it to seem like I’m only trying to ask you now just because I want to get in your pants again or something but like—”
“Changbin,” you cut him off, “Breathe. You don’t—whatever it is you want to say, you can say it.”
He visibly relaxes as soon as his name comes out of your mouth.
“Can I take you on a date?”
There’s a long silence that follows, one that makes you question whether or not he actually said what you think he did. It feels a little surreal, not just the situation but Changbin himself. You went into this blind, completely void of any expectations, but somehow came out of it with—
“A…date?” you ask hesitantly.
“A date.” He repeats, more confident this time. “A real one. Not just a hookup. I mean, I thought you were beautiful—still do! That’s why I approached you at first. I wasn’t expecting to come back here but we were both drinking and then one thing lead to another and your face was so close and I—”
“Okay.” You say, stabbing at a piece of pancake with your fork.
“Okay?” Changbin asks, blinking at you like he didn’t hear correctly.
“I mean,” you swallow your food, “Typically I’d say you’re just trying to sleep with me, because what guy does all of this for a girl he knows literally nothing about?” Changbin nods in understanding. “But we’re kind of past that, aren’t we? So clearly you don’t have any other motives.”
He shakes his head vehemently. “No. Nope. Definitely don’t.” You quirk an eyebrow at him, to which he visibly pales. “Wait, not like that. I just mean that I’m motivated by the fact that you’re beautiful and I want to get to know you not…anything else.”
When you laugh it’s soft, no more than a few heavy exhales out of your nose. Changbin wishes he could hear it more, could get you to open up to him. “I’m not too sure there’s much you’d want to know.” You admit.
“Well that’s for me to decide, isn’t it?”
His tone is different now, much more confident. Maybe it’s the fact that he’s more at ease with the conversation, or maybe it’s because he wants to prove you wrong. Either way, it makes anticipation stir deep in your gut. Changbin is different, a good different.
“Yeah. Yeah, I guess it is.”
“So it’s a date?” He picks up a piece of watermelon with his fork, holds it out to you in some sort of a toast.
“Depends,” you poke another piece of your pancakes and let it hover in front of your face, “Are you gonna buy more of these?”
“I could make that happen.” He smiles, and for the first time you let yourself get lost in it.
“Then yeah,” you push your hand forward, clinking the sides of your forks together, “It’s a date.”

“I can’t believe you’re doing this.” Felix says, leaning against the doorframe. He watches as you adjust your hair in the mirror, a wary look on his face from where you can see his reflection over your shoulder.
It’s been two weeks since you and Changbin hooked up. You’ve texted nonstop since then, most of it just casual conversation. It’s kind of nice; you get to hear about his day, what songs he’s currently listening to, and find out that he’s one hundred percent committed to the pancake bit. You let him know more about yourself too: your job, your annoying coworkers, which one of your comfort shows you’re rewatching for the fourth time. Changbin makes it a point to text you every morning and every night. You open your eyes to a pancake delivery and then close them after answering the question of: What type of pancakes do you want tomorrow?
Today, it was blueberry. Because today is the day you’re finally going on your date—and because Changbin’s sheets (that you haven’t stopped thinking about for some reason) are blue.
“What’s there to not believe, Lix?” you ask, turning to face him.
“I’m just worried.” He says, walking forward to place both hands on your shoulders. His face is serious, eyebrows pulled together slightly in that concerned look you know too well. Felix has seen firsthand what your last relationship did to you, spent nights with you tucked under his arm as you cried it out and he shoveled ice cream into your mouth. So yeah, he has the room to be worried.
“What if you mess up and I lose my chance to be his friend so he can give me a Balenciaga hoodie?”
Record scratch. Freeze frame. Whatever the hell happens in the tv shows. You shove his arms away with a scoff, rolling your eyes when he stumbles to the side as he laughs.
“You are so annoying.”
“And you better not ruin my chances of getting with one of his producer friends!” Felix calls out as you walk towards the living room. “I saw a cute one on his instagram. Don’t know his name—there was no tag, but oh my God, I love his nose.”
“You went through his socials?” you ask in disbelief, staring at him as he bends down to rummage through the fridge.
“Uh, yeah? Had to make sure he wasn’t some sort of weirdo that could possibly turn out to be a serial killer. Please, I’m not that bad of a best friend.”
“Sure. Whatever you say.” You smile, laughing at the pout he shoots your way.
Changbin’s got his hands in his pockets when you swing the door open. His hair is even fluffier than you remember, a white t-shirt hugging his chest perfectly beneath his jacket and—the glasses. The damn glasses. Your stomach starts churning at the sight, the smallest of cracks in your reserve starting to form.
“You’re early,” you say, giving him a questioning look.
Changbin shrugs. “I was excited.”
“Sweet talking to me isn't gonna work, you know?”
“I don’t have a reason to sweet talk, I’m just being honest.” Changbin’s teeth are white when he flashes them, bright and sincere. He makes talking so easy, like he’s practiced it a thousand times. You like that.
“Well,” you clear your throat, “Where are we going?”
“You’ll see.” Changbin grins, grabbing your hand and leading you down towards his car.
🎳
Changbin, as you come to find out, is full of surprises.
First, he’s ridiculously good at driving. One hand on the wheel, the other mindlessly playing with yours where his hand rests on top of your thigh. The way he maneuvers the car is, well, it’s hot. It’s also really hard to focus your attention anywhere but his hands, especially when you know what they can do.
Second, he’s really, really silly. Most of the usual small talk made on a first date was done over text since it took so long to find a day that both of you were free, but that just made it so falling into step beside one another was that much easier.
Changbin isn’t afraid to sing along with whatever song is on the radio. In fact, he’s actually really good at singing. Well, when he’s not forcing the dramatics and belting at the top of his lungs while he pretends to romantically serenade you in the passenger’s seat. You can’t help but giggle, swatting his hand away when he makes exaggerated gestures in your direction during certain high notes.
Third, he makes your heart flutter. And not just the usual Oh you’re cute kind. No. Changbin makes your heart feel like it’s going to melt into the floor, all of your senses hyper aware of every part of him, wanting and craving more even when he’s right next to you.
He makes you laugh at unexpected times, encourages you to keep speaking if you ramble on for too long about something completely random, and his smile—oh man. Maybe Felix was right to be worried. Not about you messing up, but about you being absolutely head over heels for this guy.
By the time Changbin pulls into an empty parking spot, the two of you have settled into a natural back and forth that has your head reeling with how much fun it is.
“A bowling alley?” you ask, turning to him. Changbin turns the car off, stares at you in expectation. “You spent, like, five minutes telling me that you were taking me to the one place you feel most at home and it’s a bowling alley?”
“Woah, hold on. Are you mocking me?” Changbin smiles again, and suddenly nothing else matters.
“No I’m just—I feel bad.”
His eyebrows furrow. “Bad? Why?”
“I’m gonna, like, kick your ass at this. You know that right?” You say, chuckling.
Changbin stares at you for a moment, and then he’s laughing. A high pitched, steady trill of laughter that sends you into your own fit of giggles just from the residual joy that’s oozing out of him.
Once he’s composed himself enough, he points a finger in your direction, “Oh you are so on.”
The alley is pretty empty, the only other bowlers being at a far lane at the end of the building. Changbin takes the liberty of paying and grabbing both of your shoes, and you silently follow behind him as he leads you to your assigned lane.
“Weight?” he asks, tying his laces.
You glance up from your own shoes, watching as he shucks off his jacket. His arms flex nicely under the material of his shirt, straining against the fabric as he ties a knot.
“Huh?” you ask, not entirely present.
Changbin stands, smirks slightly. “What ball weight do you use?”
“Oh, uh, an eight please.”
He nods and disappears off towards the racks of balls, leaving you alone to scold yourself.
“Christ. Get a grip.” You mumble, smacking your forehead lightly with the palm of your hand.
It’s been a while since you bowled. When you were younger, your dad used to take you every once in a while and marvel at how good you were. That was a long time ago, when you had the time to enjoy things rather than work nonstop to keep yourself afloat. It’s kind of bittersweet being back in an alley, different circumstances but still the same familiarity.
Changbin comes back with two balls in his hands and places them on the ball rack. He glances over to where you’re keying in the names, smiling softly when he notices that you put him down as BIN.
“Ready to have all of your hopes and dreams crushed?” you ask, knocking your shoulder with his.
Changbin fakes a stumble, rubs his arm like you full on punched him. “Oh God, I don’t think I can play now.”
“Nice try sweetheart,” you scoff, picking up your ball just as the screen signals for the game to start, “Watch and learn.”
You move up to the beginning of the lane, trying to ignore the way Changbin whistles playfully when you do. The ball fits perfectly in your hand, round and smooth. One deep breath, you pull your arm back, slowly walk forward, and bend at just the right moment to send it off with a thud as it hits the lane. You watch with your breath held, hope that you’re able to prove you’re not all talk, and smile proudly when the ball goes crashing through the center pin, knocking them all out.
Changbin’s jaw is on the floor when you turn around. “Your turn, hot shot.” You say sweetly, patting his shoulder as you plop down in the seat next to him.
He clears his throat. “Alright.” He grunts, stretching his arms for dramatic effect. He lets out a loud yell, one of those Hoo! noises that people make before they’re about to do something crazy.
As he lines up to go, he turns, kisses his hand and blows it in your direction. “This one’s for you!” He shouts, winking when you hide your face in your hands out of embarrassment.
You watch as he rolls it forward, leans his body to the left when it curves way too far to the right, and then your hand is flying to your mouth to stifle your laughter when the neon pink ball goes straight into the gutter.
“Ah!” He screams, throwing his hands up and behind his head. He whirls around, points an accusatory finger in your direction, “You did this!”
“Me? What’d I do?”
“You distracted me!”
“I did not!
“How am I supposed to focus when the most beautiful girl in the world is watching me?”
“I—” you scoff, fighting the blush on your cheeks as Changbin walks toward you with a shit-eating grin, “Shut up. Stop that.”
“Stop what?” He crouches in front of you, trying to catch your eyes when you avert his gaze.
“Stop sweet talking. That’s a violation of the game rules. Cheating. You’re trying to distract me.”
“Trying to distract you or trying to get you to fall head over heels for me?”
You blink, “You don’t have to try and do that.”
Changbin searches your eyes for a long while, like he’s trying to decipher whether or not you’re being sincere. It looks on his face is one of disbelief, like it’s hard for him to be convinced that you reciprocate any of what he feels.
“Now who’s sweet talking?” He laughs.
“I’m not sweet talking, I’m just being honest.”
“That’s my line!”
“Well,” you say, standing to take your turn, “I wasn’t gonna steal your bad bowling skills was I?”
The game continues on after that. Changbin somehow manages to score three more gutterballs until you decide to take pity on him.
“Here, like this,” you say, walking up behind him. Changbin freezes when you press yourself up against his back, your hand steady on his forearm as you adjust his positioning.
“This is a little—”
“What? Don’t like it?” You giggle.
He clears his throat, “Quite the opposite, actually.”
When he sends the ball straight into the middle of the pins, earning his first strike of the night, he can barely contain his excitement as he yells, picking you up and spinning you around while you laugh and throw your arms around his neck.
It feels like floating, being with Changbin. He’s goofy and sweet and he knows exactly how to push your buttons all while making you feel as though you’re the only girl in the world. His smile is as bright as the sun and the way his eyes lock on to yours at any given point in time have you wishing you could lose yourself in them forever.
🎳
In the end, you win. It’s not a surprise to either of you, but Changbin couldn’t be bothered to care less. It doesn’t matter to him, not when he feels like he’s won the lottery every time you smile in his direction. And if that wasn’t enough, when you silently slip your hand into his as the two of you walk back to the car, he swears that he’s the richest man alive.
The feeling is mutual for you, too. Changbin has a way of making you feel like nothing else exists, not when he’s grinning at you from ear to ear and making you laugh so hard your stomach hurts. He’s unprecedented, a stroke of good luck, someone who came into your life when you least expected it.
Changbin, to you, is uncharted territory. He laughs loud and smiles unabashedly. If there’s a lull in conversation he’s not afraid to fill it with one of his many noises or silly dances. He says what he thinks and doesn’t care if it’s too cheesy or makes your cheeks turn just a shade darker with embarrassment.
Changbin is consistent; the first guy that hasn’t thrown you for a loop when it comes to figuring out who he is and what he likes. Changbin is someone you could see yourself falling in love with, one terrible pick up line at a time.
“So…” he says as soon as he walks you to your front door, “I had fun.”
You laugh, glancing down at where he has your pinkies linked on both hands. He’s so cute, everything about him. Changbin, Changbin, Changbin.
“Mmhm, it was really fun teaching you how to bowl.”
Changbin groans, leans his head against your front door. “I was under pressure.”
“That’s okay, I thought it was cute.”
“Hm. Does that mean I didn’t ruin my chances at a second date?”
“Depends,” you say, moving your hands up to clasp behind his neck. Changbin’s immediately fall to your waist, almost like second nature. Right, right, right. Everything feels right. “You could come inside and show me if it’s worth it or not.”
“Jesus,” he mumbles, “Don’t do that. You’re gonna drive me crazy.”
Changbin’s words are slow, each one more breathless than the last. It’s almost intoxicating.
“Maybe I want that.”
“Good,” he whispers, leaning down to brush his nose against yours in silent question, “Because I’ve been crazy about you since the moment I first saw you.”
When his lips finally connect with yours, you’re thankful for the grip he has on your waist that prevents you from stumbling. Sweet like the syrup he bought for you that first morning, kissing Changbin is like nothing you’ve ever felt before. It’s not hurried or messy; it’s not done with the intent of something more to be given. It’s slow, purposeful, Changbin takes his time like he’s worried if he doesn’t you might break right beneath his fingertips.
He hums softly when you tangle your fingers in his hair, pulls you closer until you’re flush against him. Chest to chest, heart to heart—Changbin holds you like he never wants to let go.
When you finally pull away, his eyes are glossy, shining with adoration. You could get used to that.
“So you don’t want to come inside?” You ask again, smiling when he bites his lip.
“Not tonight babe, it’s only the first date. I don’t put out like that.”
You scoff. “Yeah? Well you definitely put something somewhere when I was—”
Changbin cuts you off with a palm over your mouth. “What kind of pancakes do you want tomorrow?” He laughs.
“Mmrrnnf.” You say, muffled his hand. When he removes it, you push your lip out into a pout. “I don’t want pancakes—just want you.”
Changbin closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, and then lets his forehead fall against yours. “You’re making it really, really hard to hold myself back right now.”
You giggle, jutting your lips forward to give him a quick kiss. “Good, it’s working.”
He sighs. “Second date, and then maybe we can talk about…other things. But right now, I just want you to enjoy this. Let yourself settle with the fact that I really, really like you. This wasn’t just a one night stand for me, nor did I ever want it to be.” He plants a kiss on your nose, “I’m kind of, like, crazy about you.”
“Me too,” you say quietly, “About all of it. I want to keep seeing you, Bin. I want to see where this goes.”
Changbin beams. “Good.” He leans down to kiss you one last time, nothing more than a press of his lips to yours, but it’s more full of emotion than the last.
When he pulls away and starts walking backwards to head back down to his car, he feels like he’s on top of the world.
“I’ll text you in the morning?”
You nod. “I’ll be looking forward to it.”
“Good,” he says with a wink, “The pancakes are on me.”
There’s a tug in your chest at his words. It’s crazy how something so small, something so simple can make you feel so strongly for someone. But you guess that Changbin is just like that.
And when you open the door, Felix’s entire body falling over the threshold from where he was leaning against it, you can’t even be bothered to get mad.

“Don’t.” You push past Changbin, grabbing your shirt from the floor and tugging it on quickly. You can’t even look at him, how could he do this?
“Would you just let me explain?” He runs his hands through his hair as he buttons his shirt behind you. “I was going to tell her I just-”
“You just what? You told me last week, no, you promised me that you’d tell her about us. What happened to that? What happened to the I love you, baby, I’m going to tell my wife everything. I already made the date, I already made the fucking plans. What happened, Changbin?” Your throat burned from your yelling and you could feel the pinch in the back of your eyes but you won’t cry. You can’t do that right now, he doesn’t deserve that.
“It’s not that fucking easy, It’s complicated, everything is complicated. What am I supposed to tell the kids? Mommy and daddy are getting a divorce cause I started fucking your nanny? I have a family ya know, this isn’t black and fucking white.” You scoff, an incredulous laugh slipping from your lips as you step closer to your lover. He stares back at you, wide eyed with a red angry blush climbing up the milky skin of his neck and chest. You want to laugh this off, you want to tell him that you understand and that you just want him, any of him, all of him. But he doesn’t deserve that either.
“Oh, do I know that you have a family? Do I know? Let’s see Mr. Seo, am I aware that you have a six year old daughter who loves tea parties and hot wheels? Hmm, do I know that?”
“Don’t do that.” He looks away, bringing his hand up and rubbing his face. It’s a habit that he does when he’s stressed, you can’t blame him, this is fucking stressful.
“What about your four year old son who loves coloring and watching Bluey, do I know about that?” You take a step closer to him, leaving little to no room between you two. The heat radiating off of the both of you creates a deliciously toxic energy that makes you sick to your stomach.
“Or what about your fucking wife.” You hiss, yelling in his face, he squeezes his eyes shut as he continues to avert eye contact. You push his chest with every word but he doesn’t move, of course he doesn’t he’s two times stronger than you.
“Your wife who doesn’t give a shit about her kids or her husband or anything else that doesn’t solely focus on her. Your wife that is never home so I take care of her kids and they call me mommy. Your wife that doesn’t give you any attention so you started fucking me. I know a whole lot about your fucked up little family.” He grabs your hand, turning to face you and you swear that the look in his eyes could kill you.
“Stop this, now.” His voice is barely above a whisper, it’s almost gentle which is the complete opposite of the grip that he has on your wrist as he holds it against his chest. “I didn’t think that we’d take it this far, this was never the plan. Falling in love with you was not what I planned.”
“So I was just supposed to be a quick fuck? You didn’t mean to fall in love with me or fuck me in you and your wife’s bed before I pick up your kids. You didn’t mean to buy me jewelry or spend nights here begging me to have your babies, begging me to marry you when you divorce her. Fuck you, get the fuck off of me.”
“Will you let me fucking explain?” He growls at you and you suck your teeth.
“The hell I am.” You attempt to pull away from him but his grip only tightens. You pull again, this time more aggressively and when he doesn’t let you go you start to fight him, pushing and pulling and making him stumble as he tries to hold you. He lets go of your wrists and moves quickly to wrap his arms around your waist, he picks you up and throws you onto your mattress, ignoring your protests as you hit the memory foam.
“You think that I don’t know that she doesn’t give a fuck about me?” His voice bounces off of the white walls of your bedroom as you prop yourself up on your elbows. “She never fucking has, she never fucking will, she’s a gold digger we all know that. I fucked up and got her pregnant, I didn’t want any of this shit. I didn’t want this life. You, you are the first thing that I’ve wanted in years.”
“Bullshit.” You sit up, scooting down to the end of your bed. “Bull - fucking - shit, Changbin.”
You stand from the mattress but Changbin pushes you back down by your shoulders, he kneels down in front of you, getting a good grip on the plush of your thighs and pulling you to the very edge of the bed. You’re ready to protest, ready to scream and fight and throw a fit but the next sentence that comes out of his mouth makes you freeze. “ I told them to call you mommy.”
He stares up at you, vulnerable eyes searching yours, you ball your hands into fists against the comforter. Is he fucking serious? “I didn’t tell my wife because she didn’t fucking show up for our date night. She had a work meeting which is code for fucking the new executive. I was going to tell her, I have -” He stops himself mid sentence, looking over towards his work bag and quickly moving towards it. He searches through it for less than a second before pulling out a folder and moving back in front of you.
“I have the fucking divorce papers, I signed them. I had everything.” You grab the folder from him, shaking your head as you read through them, they’re real, he isn’t lying but what good is that if you’re still stuck being the side chick? No good at all.
“Is this supposed to change my mind? Am I supposed to feel bad that your dead beat wife stood you up? I don’t give a fuck about her but clearly you still do.”
“That’s not fair -”
“Oh it’s not? It’s not fair?” You cross your arms, meeting his eyes with a sarcastic gaze. He speaks over you, shaking his head and gripping your bed frame as he grows more and more frustrated by the situation.
“That’s not fucking fair, she’s the mother of my kids of course I give a shit about her. Yeah she’s a bitch, yeah she doesn’t love me but -”
“But you love her?” Your sarcastic gaze morphs into one of anger, pure feminine rage and you’re ready to unleash it if he says the wrong thing. “Do you fucking love her, Changbin?”
“It’s not that simple.” You throw the folder that he handed you behind you, the papers confetti around the two of you, covering the mattress and floor next to you.
“Go home. Be with the woman you love, be with your kids, your family.” You lean forward, yelling in his face and leaving no room for air, you hate him you hate him so much for doing this to you. For turning you into the woman who loves a married man, even before you slept with him you knew that you loved him. It was the lingering stares and soft touches. It was the early morning conversations and the hot coffee waiting for you as soon as you walked through the door. It was the way that he’d take pictures of you and his kids like you were their mother, like you were a family. “The family that you fuck over every time you fuck me. Get out, leave.
“I'm in love with you.” He grabs your waist, squeezing and holding you like you’d fly away if he didn’t. The sound of your primal yelling is still ringing in his ears but he ignores it, nothing else matters, all that he wants is for you to hear him. All that he wants is for you to understand that his wife may have a place in his heart but you own it. You and his kids are all that he really loves, all that he really wants. “What do I need to do to get you to see that? What do you want from me?”
His hand trails down to the curve of your hip as his eyes stay on yours. “Do what you promised me you would.” You snap back, shifting in his grip.
“Give me until Friday, that’s all I ask.” His hands run over the bare skin of your thigh, scratching down the sensitive flesh and leaving goosebumps in his wake. “Give me this last chance, please. I won’t fuck this up, I need you.”
He leans in, pressing his torso between your legs and resting his hands on your knees as he gently parts them. You watch him, your chest rising and falling heavily. You’re angry, you’re livid, you’re in love. “I want you so bad, baby, just give me three days.” His fingers inch their way towards the tender flesh of your inner thigh and you sit there, watching him.
“You said this before, you said it last week. Why are you doing this to me?” Your anger has abandoned you, it left you to face this desperate sadness all by your lonesome. Your voice is weaker than you’d like and the familiar pinch of tears fighting to escape visits you again and you’re not sure that you have it in you to fight them this time. “You keep stringing me along, Changbin, you keep -”
“Bunny, I’m begging you, just three days.” His pointer and middle finger sneak over to caress your folds over the gusset of your damp underwear and you shiver at the sensation. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry that I’m doing this to you. We knew this would be messy.”
He hooks his fingers into the wet fabric, moving it to the side and pressing against your clit softly. You try to keep your eyelids from fluttering shut but it’s no use, they’re closed before you can even think to do otherwise. “This isn’t fair.” You gasp, as he rubs tight circles against the bud, dragging whine from you that you don’t believe he has the privilege to hear.
“You’re right.” His fingers move down, collecting your dripping slick and spreading it over your needy cunt. You open your mouth to snap back at him but his fingers are sinking into you before you can even get a breath out. “This isn’t fair, you’re right.”
His words are whispers as he watches you, he can feel himself relax as you arch your back into the air and squeeze your eyes shut because of him. For him. “Y-you take so much of me when you leave here.” You take a deep breath in an attempt to steady your speech. Changbin’s fingers pick up speed as you speak.
“What do I take from you, baby?”
“Everything, you t-take so much of my power, my love, my pride.” A moan interrupts your sentence, and you let your head drop back as he curls his fingers inside of you. “There are so - so many parts of me scattered around your house. There are bits and pieces - pieces of you. So many pieces of you in this room. My pillows smell like you, your coffee mug, your toothbrush, I have it all but - but there’s no you.”  You close your eyes, a tear slipping down your cheek.
"I want to take it all back," you whisper, your voice thick with emotion. His thumb finds your clit as you lift your head to look at him and you can’t help but to cry out as you buck your hips into his hand.
“You don’t mean that.” He whispers back as his spare hand reaches up to wipe the stray tear rolling down your cheek. “ Tell me that, tell me that you don’t mean that.”
You grind your hips, fucking yourself on his fingers hungrily, desperately. “Look at me.” His voice snaps you out of your fucked out hunger and you meet his gaze, more tears falling from your eyes and he moves his hand beside you to pick up one of the papers you threw. He lifts it to your tear stained cheek and wipes it dry with the paper, his fingers slow down as his eyes scan your face. He loves you, he really is in love with you. If you two had met in a different life or maybe just at an earlier time then you’d be the mother of his kids and he wouldn’t be the CEO of a company he doesn’t give a fuck about, he wouldn’t have to keep his happiness a secret. Why couldn’t that have been the way that things went?
“I don’t regret any of this. I don’t regret you.” His fingers speed up again and you cry out, your trembling frame is beautiful to him. “You don’t regret me.”
“I don’t.” You moan, your hands tangle in your hair as you pant and whine. “I wish I did.”
“You have so much of me too, you own me. I’m yours. Fuck her, I need you. Anything that you want is yours.” You feel the knot tightening in your stomach and your eyes roll back at the feeling.
“Say it again, s-say you’re mine.”
“I’m yours, baby.” Changbin’s eyes rake over your body as you near your high, your rosy skin is beautiful in the dimly lit room. “I’m yours.”
“Bin, oh my fucking god.” Your legs shake against the bed frame as your orgasm climbs up your spine. He groans, as he cups your cheek and guides your lips to his. He kisses you hungrily, passionately. Desperately. Before you can warn him you break the kiss, your body is falling into his as your legs clamp down around his wrist and he curls his fingers inside of you as you come down from your high. You’re panting against his shoulder as he peppers light kisses against your neck.
“I’m yours, I promise.”

Words: 1.6K
A.N: hello hello! im back with a fic which wasn't planned at all, oopsie 😬 i have several ones on my drafts so, be ready! as always, feedback is much appreciated and i apologize for the possible mistakes — cami, 240423
You were done. So freaking done with all this bullshit. You could never spend one family dinner without any remark from your aunt. In her eyes, you were always too lazy, too fat and she kept asking when you and your boyfriend would have kids even though she already knew the answer. All that pressure felt exhausting. You had been holding back for a while and tried to remain respectful, unlike her. However, she was truly pushing your limits. Your hands were shaking with anger as you stared into the bathroom sink, avoiding your reflection in the mirror facing you. Deep breath. Your eyes were tingling as tears were forming and threatening to fall. Suddenly, you heard a knock.
« What ? » you harshly said. You didn’t want to talk with any family member at the moment. To your surprise, it wasn’t your mom as you expected it to be.
« It’s me, love. » your boyfriend’s voice was a bit muffled by the closed door. « Can I come in ? » he softly inquired. You sighed and quickly wiped your tears away because you didn’t want him to see you like that. You half-opened the door. « I will be there in a sec, ok ? ». You forced a weak smile but your eyes betrayed your true feelings. Changbin’s soft brown eyes looked at you intensely, with a mix of concern and adoration. His heart ached at the sight of you being hurt, especially by words coming from an old hag with three divorces on her record. Before you could close the door again, he put his foot through the partially opened door. « Please ? » he pleaded, his plump lips forming a pout. How could you resist ? You let him in, going back to the sink and turning the water on. He glanced at you with your back turned to him. Closing the door, he then stepped towards you. You could feel his warm hands delicately running on your stomach as he was back hugging you. His broad chest felt like a cocoon and you directly melt into his embrace, your muscles relaxing a little. He gave a tender peck on your cheek and rubbed his nose against it. « You shouldn’t listen to her, Y/N. » he whispered in your ear. You whined. It was easier said than done. You put your hands on his and caressed them with your fingers. « I know, Binnie… I just wish that, once in her life, she would spend a dinner without unnecessarily spitting her venom to my face. » Your voice was a bit hoarse, sobs painfully tightening your throat. Changbin immediately noticed. "You know what ?" he said, his voice steady and reassuring. "You handled it with grace. You were poised and composed, even when she was being unreasonable. You're stronger than you realize. ». You sniffled, kind of skeptical about that. How he wished you could see yourself through his eyes. Then, you would realize how gorgeous and incredible you are. « Love, I can assure you that you’re perfect the way you are. Her words don’t define you.». He left more kisses on your cheek and jawline. You closed your eyes to the sensation of it and hummed. Only him could make you feel like that. Loved and peaceful.
However, he didn’t stop there. If praising you didn’t seem to be efficient enough, he would go all the way for you to accept yourself. He wanted to convey how your only existence turned his world upside down, in a good way. How he found you exceptional. Not only was he feeling lucky to have the hottest woman as his but also the smartest and kindest soul of them all. So he kept going, his smooches on your skin getting slippery and feverish. You felt his hands lowering towards your thighs and crotch. « That’s all you have to say ? I will not be satisfied by a simple hum, Y/N. » he warned. His hot breath against your neck and his curly locks brushing against it made you shiver, heat building up in your inside.
« Changbin, we should n… » you couldn’t finish your sentence, cut off by the look your boyfriend’s reflection was giving you in the mirror.
« You’re finally looking up. » he breathed, visibly pleased by your astonished face which was betraying your aroused state. The brown haired boy was still staring at you, lips glued to your skin, unbuttoning your pants. « Binnie… they’re going to wonder wh… ». You felt his middle finger brushing against your clothed core. « To wonder about what ? » he teasingly mewled. You bit on your lower lip. « About what is taking us so long. » you faintly exhaled, holding back a moan as his fingers were slowly working on your sensitive spot. He pressed himself closer to you, until you were almost crushed between him and the bathroom counter. The furniture was applying pressure on your lower abdomen, increasing all the sensations. « Oh, don’t worry. I will be quick but you have to play fairly. » he raised a brow, an amused expression adorning his face. You nodded, unconsciously moving your hips back and forth to get some friction on his hand. « Great. All you have to do is to say those three words: I am great. »
Gosh, he was driving you crazy. You were craving to feel his fingers down on you, rid of any bothering fabric. « It’s ridiculous. Come on, Changbin can’t you just… »
As if he had heard your thoughts, he sled his hands into your panties. His digits were welcomed by the warm wetness of your juices. Shit. Maybe the game will be slightly difficult for him too. However, he was a born competitor and wouldn’t admit defeat. His finger was circling your clit, variating pressure on it, going up and down to lubricate your slit. You clenched your fists and watched him pleasuring you. This was probably the hottest view you had ever seen. Any trace of tease had left his face now. He was towering you from behind, his free hand delicately bending you over. « I want to hear it. » he groaned. His eyes weren’t as soft and rounded as earlier and you could tell they were glaring at your soul. Fine. You would comply to his game and its stupid rule. « I am great » you weakly yelped.
Changbin’s heart race was increasing dangerously. How could you look so cunty and adorable at the same time ? And you weren’t even cumming yet ! Furrowing his brow, he put your pants down to your ankles. Using both hands, he grasped your butt and lightly spread it to expose your dripping folds. You gasped and tried to get his palm back on your slit. « Fucking beautiful… » he murmured to himself, his growing boner getting cramped into his boxer. He glanced at your reflection, as you waited like a puppy for its treat. « You’re doing great, love. But that’s still not enough. Say that you’re beautiful.» What ? He told you to play fairly just for him to play you like that ? « Shut up. » you growled and he couldn’t hold back a small laughter.
« Say it. » he dared you, his index playing with your entrance. « I am beauti… Ah! » you loudly moaned as he started to finger you. Changbin hurried to hush you, stuffing two digits into your mouth. You greedily sucked on it, getting totally brain fucked. Seeing you desperately horny turned him on like crazy, his dick lightly twitching in his pants. He wanted to fuck you right here. To feel your warm mouth around his cock, your tits bouncing as he would thrust into you. The idea of it made him drool and work faster on your core. He fingered you with passion, his digits curling into your inside, going back and forth to a high then slow rhythm. You were a panting mess, trying your best to stay as quiet as possible. But the brown haired boy was doing magic on you and you were getting awfully close. « Changbin, I… will not be able… to handle it… any longer. » your legs were wobbly, barely supporting you.
He smirked. « I know, love. Say it and I will let you cum. » He kissed your cheek and licked your neck, leaving a wet trail on its way. You looked at the brown haired boy. Your man was touching you with no mercy, softly rubbing his crotch on your butt. He looked outrageously handsome and lustful. His eyes glistening with love, his plump lips half opened as he was craving for air. Noticing how you were staring at him, he grabbed your chin with his left hand and made you watch yourself. « Look at you. » he moaned. The view made your inside flutter. You seemed so needy. Darting your ass up to feel him deeper, hands gripping on the counter, eyeing your boyfriend in such a sinful, sinful way. Your walls tightened around Changbin’s fingers and he knew you were seconds away from your climax. Despite this kind of degrading position, you found yourself beautiful and sexy. « I am beautiful. » you whispered, looking at yourself. « You truly are, Y/N » and with a few thrusts, you clenched around his digits, a wave of pleasure and relief hitting you hard. Your legs gave up under you and Changbin had to hug you tightly to prevent you from falling. You chuckled and he joined you. « Let me help you. »
He made you turned around and kneeled down. He had already done so much for you. And here he was, dressing you up and worshipping you as if you were a priceless treasure. When he got up, you wrapped your arms around his shoulders. « Thank you. »
« Don’t, babe. I hope that, one day, you will love yourself just as much as I love you. » he replied, brushing his nose against yours. You closed the gap between the both of you. Lips crashing onto his, his tongue seeking for a way to enter your mouth, his firm body pressing onto yours. You were both panting and you could feel his hard on against your belly. « Should we go home ? So, I can help you back » you teased him. He took your hand in his. « Please. »

can you please please please please pleeeeease write smth super angsty with comfort with changbin 🫂
Cramping up.
Warning: Angst, blood, periods.
Summary: your cramps this time around are heavy and changbin’s “busy” schedule leads to something tragic.
Pairing: reader x Changbin
Two people requested for a Changbin angst. So here it is 🥰
**
Periods.
Y/n hated her period with everything in her but yet she was so relieved whenever it came around.
Her cramps were always a 9/10 and her body ached horrendously. She hated that time of month. Changbin also hated that time of the month because he hated seeing his girl in so much pain.
He always made sure to note when it would be arriving down. He also made sure to run to the grocery store to get her favorite snacks, run her a bath, rent out her favorite movies and buy her a pack of her medication but for some reason (it was quite obvious the reason) he had forgotten to do it this month.
You see, come back season was officially over and the boys were on a month long break. Yes! A month long break. Changbin (since he was a part of 3 racha) was the most excited for it because it meant that he could sleep in, play videos games and not have to worry about deadlines, music, etc.
He was in such an off mode that he ignored the whole world around him and at first Y/n accepted it because he did deserve this break but it was getting annoying because she too wanted to spend time with her boyfriend.
It was 5 in the evening. He was back on the game again. "Binnie?" She whimpered while her hands wrapped around her lower abdomen. Her body was heating up and her stomach was quite literally vibrating because of how much pain she was in.
"Changbin can you please pass me some painkillers from the cabinet?" She asked again due to the fact that Changbin didn't hear her the first time.
"Hm? What did you say babe?" He removed his headphones and slightly turned to look over at her, barely.
"Can you get me painkiller? They're in the bathroom."
"Okay give me a sec," he turned back to the his PC and unpaused the game. This not only angered and frustrated Y/n but it made her sad.
She was haunched over with tears in her eyes. The room was dark and the only source of light was coming from Chnagbins large PC and the bathroom.
The AC was running but she still could feel the heat radiating from her body.
She let out a little whine when she felt the cramps intensify. Changbins constant taps on the keyboard weren't helping her at all.
"Binnie please can you just-"
"Y/n chill for a sec and stop nagging me will you? You always tell me how I should relax and spend some me time but you constantly keep bugging me to do things for you, so please," he glared at you. The game being forgotten about. It took her a while to process what he said but her body had reacted way before her brain could catch up causing her to gasp and scoot away from him.
"I'm sorry, I'll let you be," she whispered and choked on her tears. Her heart rate was beating at a fast rate. The tears began to slowly fall down her cheeks.
He rolled his eyes and put back his headphones before mumbling a few words and continuing to play. He had no idea how much pain Y/n was in. It was obvious.
She watched him play as the tears were running down her face. Her heart was broken or maybe it was just the hormones talking? It didn’t matter to her because yeah even if she did tell Binnie to have time to rest and relax, he hadn’t even had time for her and now he was becoming very frustrated with her.
After what felt like forever, she gathered the little energy she had left and made her way to the bathroom. Her body shook vigorously at how much pain she was experiencing. Was this normal? She started to question.
She grabbed the pain killers from the cabinet and reached out to grab the cup for water. Everything was spinning now and she felt faint. The world was spinning at a fast space and as she filled the glass with water her body collapsed leaving shattered glass by her body.
Changbin started to feel guilty for snapping at her. He felt even more guilty when she went to get the painkillers she had asked him so nicely for and he decided he would apologize when she was back and maybe take her out for a movie.
The sound of the breaking glass gave Changbin a scare. At first he thought it was Y/n doing something and accidentally broke a glass but as he there was no more movement or human activity going on he got worried and quickly got up and followed the sound.
"Y/n? You okay?" He asked knocking but there was no answer. "Y/n?" He called once again while pushing the bathroom door open.
He gasped at the sight. She was laying on the ground with blood gushing out her head. What had happened? Was he this blind to notice she was this badly off? This is all his fault.
"Y/n?! Oh my God," he gasped and run to her side. "Baby?! Can you hear me?" He tried to softly wake her up but all he got in response was a groan and whimper.
His heart was beating at a high rate. His hands shaking and his body breaking a sweat. He grabbed his phone from his back pocket and quickly dialed and called their company medics.
He was then instructed to carry her to bed and put pressure on the wound that was gushing out blood so he did so and followed every little instruction He then had to wipe her face with cold water which instantly woke her up.
"Ow..."she groaned rubbing the side of her head. "Binnie?" She sobbed when she realized what was going on.
He could finally breathe. It was like a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders. He still didn’t stop wiping her face with the cold water. He wanted to make sure she would stay awake.
"Baby, what happened?" He instantly asked.
"I- I don't know," she sobbed again, "I was trying to get water cause my cramps hurt really bad. You didn’t want to get it for me and I just- everything went black," her voice was soft, Changbin could barely hear. Her tears upset him so much.
"Cramps?" He asked confused, "oh my God! I totally forgot, is it that time of the month already?" he smacked his forehead feeling guilty. "I'm so sorry my love, I was so mean to you yet you needed me," his lower lip quivered feeling bad for putting her through this.
She had no response tho, "Binnie, it hurts," she groaned again while holding her stomach and head. Her breakdown was getting worse.
“Babygirl, you need to breathe. Please. Your going to pass out again,”
“I-it hurts so bad Binnie,” she hiccuped. Changbin only knew one way to calm her down. He got into the other side of the bed and cuddled her. He rubbed circles on her back and she continued to tell her to breathe. Trying to comfort her in any way.
It broke his heart watching her in such a state. He felt like the worst boyfriend ever.
"I'll get you some pain meds yeah? We'll wait to the medics are here so we can see what to do after. Okay my love?" He was panicking again and it was so visible.
"I-I'll be okay," she held his hand for reassurance and she could physically see Changbin let out a huge sigh of relief.
When the medics had arrived, they were shocked that Y/n was even awake.
“Do you wanna tell me what happened?” The man asked her as he carefully cleaned the wound.
“I don’t know really. I was just waking to get water and pain killers. I just remember my cramps being really bad, the pain kept getting worse. Then I just passed out and I think I hit my head,” she explained.
“How bad was the pain?” He proceeded to ask. She winced at a sharp shoot pain that run through her head when he added a cream to the wound.
“It was on like an 9-“
“Her cramps are normally bad not this bad to the poibt she passes out,” Changbin cut her off trying to help.
“Alright, I think you’ll need to see a doctor about that because that could be a sign you body is telling you,” Changbin made sure to note to make an appointment later for the doctors. They examined her head wound one last time to make sure everything was okay and if it needed stitches or not. It didn't, which Changbin was greatful about because he didn't know how he would handle watch them physically stitch up his girlfriend.
"We're just going to give you a strong dose of  pain medicine because as I said passing out due to the fact of your period cramps is not normal. So we're going to push in some pain meds which may make you a little woozy," the man explained every step and every way.
“Is she allowed to eat after this?” Changbin asked. His hand was wrapped around hers trying to give her comfort.
“Yes she can, maybe cook her some soup. That normally helps.”
When he injected the pain medication into her IV bag, the extreme pain that lingered around her lower stomach and lower back slowly started to subside causing Y/n to moan in relief at how good it felt.
Her body was extremely exhausted and the feeling of sleep came over her.
The sudden need to be held and the craving of Changbin’s touch grew stronger. She knew she was still upset at him but she wanted him so badly.
"Changbin, come here," she said groggily. The medics had left the house and now Changbin was running around trying to clean up the mess and make her some food.
"What is it love?" He questioned while popping his head around the door frame.
"Can you come cuddle?" She groaned and pouted. He was trying so hard not to smile or giggle. He found her so cute.
“Alright let me finish fixing you a plate okay? I’m running to the store quickly to get your snacks and I’m putting blankets in the dryer so you can have warm blankets, just give me a few.”
He quickly walked over and gave her a kiss on the forehead even tho she was frowning. “I’ll be back soon, I promise. If you need anything just call. Okay?”
“Yeah,” she gave in and got comfortable in the bed. Her eyes slowly close as she fell into a deep sleep.
She was awaken by someone wrapping their hands around her waist.
“I’m back my love,” Changbin’s voice was quiet and soft.
“Binnie? I’m so tired,”
“Shall we get you into the shower? just a quick shower so you can eat and then sleep,” she shook her head allowing him to help her to the bathroom where she sat on the toilet as he was trying to get the right water temperature.
“Binnie, I’m so mad at you,” she said, deciding to squash the elephant in the room.
“I know my love,” he turned away from the shower and knelt infront of her. “I’m sorry for snapping at you like that, it’ll never happen again. Seeing you in so much pain and seeing you on the floor like that scared the shit out of me baby. It was my fault for not listening to you. Please forgive me,” his eyes were shining under the dim light. He looked to cute for Y/n to not accept his apology. She was an understanding girlfriend after all.
“It’s fine my love, I understand work was a lot and the come back this season was really tough. I just don’t want you to get mad at me like that again. Whenever something happens ,we talk about it. Okay?” She laid her hand on his cheek, cupping it.
“I love you, I promise it won’t happen again. Thank you for being the best girlfriend ever,”
“Your welcome Binnie, now go on strip me naked!” She giggled.
“Im guessing the painkillers worked?”
“Very very well! My head hurts just a little tho,” he got up and kissed her forehead.
“There, I hope the kiss fixes it.” He chuckled while helping her undress, “let’s get you washed up so we can cuddle and watch a movie.”

Everything looks so hazy.
With a shot glass clumsily in hand, you tilt your hand to look around Changbin’s living room in wonder. Everything looks as it has always been, the same pieces of furniture in the same places, and yet it felt totally different.
The walls look a different color, and the television seems to have grown a new pair. How silly to keep two TVs side by side each other.
You giggle at the thought, eyes unfocused as you keep staring at his television with curiosity. Your best friend, currently seated beside you on the couch, carefully grabs the shot glass from your hand to prevent any accidents – taking advantage of the moment where you’re distracted.
A few minutes ago, when he had attempted the same thing, you had gotten upset. Changbin would rather roll down multiple flights of stairs than have you be upset with him again, even if it was unintentional and under the influence of alcohol.
He doesn’t even know what had prompted you to drink in the first place. You had just texted him, completely out of the blue; can we drink tonight lol
And before he could even respond, you were already knocking on his door with a bottle of tequila in hand and a sheepish smile painted on your features. He accepts the offer. For one, he could never say no to you. And secondly, he had no classes tomorrow and he hadn’t drank in a while.
He could use the taste of alcohol to hide behind when it comes to his feelings for you. It’s grown tenfold over the past few weeks, and although he could never trust himself drunk around you (he knows his blabber mouth would confess in one way or another), a few shots wouldn’t hurt.
Plus, he has never drank with you either. To his information, you’ve never drank before either. At all.
Changbin had asked if you wanted to invite any of your friends over, even the guys, but you had asked if it was alright that it was just the two of you for tonight.
It’s because you trust him the most, but you don’t need to tell him that.
If you did, he would’ve exploded. But you didn’t have to know that either.
With the shot glass successfully out of your reach, Changbin doesn’t even try to understand what you’re giggling about. He knows you’re hit, and the wholesome way you’re smiling is too adorable to question. He just lets you stare at his television like it was a Nobel prize winning discovery.
After gawking for a few minutes, you turn your attention to Changbin, scooting so much closer that your knees are pressed together now. Leaning in with a hand covering your mouth, you whisper into his ear.
“Why do you have two TVs?”
Changbin feels like crying at how cute you are.
“I think you might’ve had too much to drink.” You pull away from his face, eyebrows knit as you shake your head in disagreement. You’re too shy to admit you’ve already been hit hours ago.
“I’m dizzy, but I can still understand what’s happening around me. So, I’m just tipsy, right?” You don’t even give him a chance to respond when you start talking about something entirely different, abruptly getting up from your seat to point at the walls.
Changbin follows suit with his hands stretched out in case you fall over.
“When did you get the time to repaint your walls? I liked the old one better.” Eyes blinking rapidly, you step forward a little unsteadily and Changbin has an arm hovering around you in record time. “It changed again just now!”
“Think you’re really drunk, darling.”
“‘M not drunk. Your wall’s being weird.” You brush his statement dismissively, attempting to stumble towards the painted walls to see them up close.
Though, you don’t think your feet want to cooperate with you very much.
Changbin has to pull you to his side before you can trip over your own feet, and you can feel the heat spreading from your neck to your face but you’re unsure if it’s from the alcohol or the close proximity to your best friend.
“Okay. You’re not drunk. I believe you.” His grip tightens around you, and you smile victoriously at the small accomplishment of convincing him you aren’t drunk, even though he knows otherwise.
“Thank you.” You politely respond, bowing unsteadily before looking up at him with your crescent eyes and your crooked grin, and the boy really has to try his best not to get carried away with the overwhelming amount of feelings he has for you.
Especially when you’re looking at him like that.
He fails, of course, hearing his own heartbeat quicken and his palms start to sweat, but at least he tried anyway. In trial of calming himself down, he places his palm on the entirety of your face and pushes you back down to sit on the couch.
Changbin hears nothing but muffled protests from you, but he takes the limited time he has with your eyes peeled to clear his throat and recompose himself before he pulls his hand back.
Get it together, Changbin.
Though, even after having calmed himself, he still finds himself thinking about the way you perfectly fit by his side, like he has always been meant to wrap an arm around your waist.
He wants you so fucking bad, and it really doesn’t help that your cuteness has heightened from the silly lens you’re viewing the world in right now.
Preparing himself for your scolding, he finds that you’ve completely forgotten the way he had manhandled you back on the couch. Instead, you’re gripping at your shirt with your eyebrows twisted, lips pressed in a thin line as if you’re trying to discern the way you’re feeling right now.
“Binnie, I’m a little dizzy now.”
And then you’re getting up again.
“Careful.” He mumbles under his breath, stepping forward. You always trust Changbin to be there before you fall.
Though, ironically, you’ve been falling for a few years now. But you haven’t crashed yet and there’s still time for Changbin to open his arms and catch you if he wanted to.
You can tell he’s tired. You don’t even know what time it is anymore. Everything’s so distorted and it’s all just static to you now. All you know is that you have to get home so Changbin can get his much needed rest.
“Gotta get home now.” You hiccup, body swaying in an alarming way as you try to make a run for his front door.
“Not so fast.” He pulls you back, allowing you to rest most of your weight on him when you stumble back. “You’re sleeping here tonight. Can’t let you go home like this. Hmm? Who’s gonna take care of you?”
“You gonna take care of me?” Your voice has grown incredibly soft now, hands gripping his arms to keep yourself standing.
“Mhm.” He leans forward to brush away the hair falling in front of your face, tucking the loose strands behind your ear so it doesn’t bother you so much.
“Thank you, Binnie. You always take care of me.”
Changbin thinks he’s gonna pass out again because here you are, looking at him again. In some delusional way, it makes him think you feel the same as him, even though he thinks it’s just wishful thinking.
“Stop looking at me like that. Makes it really hard for me.”
“Makes it hard to what?” You’re standing on your tiptoes to try and mirror his height so your face is directly in front of his now, and Changbin has to hold both of your arms to prevent you from falling on top of him completely.
“Not to kiss you.” He mumbles begrudgingly. It’s okay, you won’t remember this tomorrow. He thinks. Or, he hopes.
But if you do, he’s equally hoping you admit you’ve always wanted to kiss him too.
“What’s stopping you?” Another hiccup.
“You’re drunk.” Changbin deadpans, pinching your cheeks, and immediately regretting his decision when a pout sports your lips and your eyebrows knit together in the most adorable way possible.
“I told you ‘m not drunk!” You let your head fall on his shoulder.
Only a few seconds of silence pass before you’re speaking again. Although, your tone’s a little more troubled. “Uh oh. I don’t feel too good.”
You don’t really remember how you got to the bathroom. The only thing you can feel is a hand rubbing your back and another pulling your hair back as you’re hunched over his toilet seat, vomiting out whatever you had for dinner earlier.
Tears prick in your eyes, and then you’re hurling again, coughing out as if it’ll help you feel any better about the circumstance you’re under. You don’t even notice Changbin has left your side until he comes back with a glass of water, making sure you drink all of it after wiping away the corners of your mouth.
“Sorry.” You frown, lips starting to tremble as you stare down at the floor, clearly dejected and ashamed.
Changbin sits down on his bathroom floor next to you, continuing to rub your back like he did earlier. “It’s okay. This kind of thing happens.”
“But it’s gross, and now you’ll never like me. You’ll like someone else who doesn’t vomit in your toilet.” He lets out a breathy laugh at how sad you sound, and you’re starting to feel embarrassed.
“Hey. I like you even when you vomit in my toilet.”
You look up at him with doe eyes, and you suddenly feel so much better. “Promise?”
“I promise.”
“Mkay. Thank you.” You smile stupid to yourself, playing with your fingers and suddenly feeling shy.
Changbin finds the sight endearing, and feels his heart expand in fondness every time you say ‘thank you’ at even the most minuscule thing – when he “believed” you were drunk, when he had let you stay the night, when he told you he still liked you even when you puke.
He snaps out of his thoughts when he catches you yawning.
“You tired? Gonna get you some clothes to change into, okay?”
“What’s wrong with my clothes?”
“Not gonna let you sleep in that. You’ll be uncomfortable.” He pats your head once he’s stood up from having sat on the bathroom floor next to you.
“Oh. You’re right.”
You don’t protest further, humming to yourself as you wait for him to come back.
He returns with some of his spare clothes and a damp face towel. After wiping your face, he allows you to change into your clothes after having convinced him you could do it. He can’t help but laugh when you walk out of his bathroom with his shirt on backwards.
You immediately fall face first on his bed, groaning out at how comfortable his bed was. Changbin smiles fondly at the sight, helping you tuck yourself in comfortably. You blink up at him, patting the space next to you.
“Come to bed now.”
“Gotta change too, okay? Give me a few minutes.”
You whine childishly when he makes his way to his bathroom. “Binnie, where are you?”
“Just a few more minutes.”
“But Binnie! I’m cold. And.. and… what if someone suddenly came in and took me away! It’ll be all your fault.” You try to play with the cards that you’re dealt with, scheming to say anything that could guilt trip Changbin into speeding up in the bathroom so he could be beside you right now.
“Okay, okay. I’m here, I’m done.”
You’re grumpy now, even with his favorite blanket wrapped around you. When he sits down beside you on his bed, you’re scooting away slightly to really sell the part.
“You mad at me?” He whispers, smiling to himself when you nod your head.
“You left me all alone.”
“Just so I’m wearing clean clothes when I cuddle you.”
“You’re gonna cuddle me?” You ask with wide eyes.
“You said you were cold, hm?”
It doesn’t take much after that before you’re wrapped in his arms instead, head resting comfortably on his chest as you sigh out in relief. This feels nice. His arms feel warm and comfortable. It’s warmer than it was when you were just under the covers.
“You still mad?”
“‘M not mad anymore. You’re forgiven.” Changbin grins, threading his fingers through your hair gently to help you sleep quicker. He knows you’re tired, from the way you drawl out your words, and the way you simply collapse into him.
He rests his free arm around you comfortably, just by your hips, and he continues to look down at you attentively in case you jolt awake in need of something. He only completely relaxes when he hears soft snores from you.
Placing a soft kiss on the top of your head, Changbin allows himself to shut his own tired eyes closed. Even though he had been exhausted from the events of the day prior, he finds he’d do it all over again for you if you asked him to.
As for you, you’re not quite sure you want to drink as hard as you did today. One thing you are sure of is you never want to leave, with your head resting just below Changbin’s neck, and his hand running through your hair.
You don’t wanna be anywhere else but with the one person you trust the most.

Part of Your World
Tumblr media
Pairing: merman!Changbin x reader
Genre: Fluff, small amounts of angst
Word Count: 8.6k
Warnings: Mildly suggestive, brief mentions of blood/pain
Author's Note: Song of the day is Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid! Here it is @bluejutdae, the merman Binnie fic that no one asked for...but in all seriousness, this was so fun to write and I have a soft spot in my heart for this Binnie.
------------------------------------------
The waves lap against the shoreline, the dull roar of the ocean echoing off the rocks. You breathe deeply and let out a giant sigh. This. This was what you needed…time alone, time off, time out. A break to reset your mind, rethink your goals, and time to figure out where to go next.
Stress had been eating away at you for entirely too long. You weren’t quite happy with your job, but you didn’t know what you wanted to do instead. You had made friends but not any that felt truly significant in your life. Your parents had graciously lent you their beach house, the one you had spent every summer growing up going to. Even in the two days since you had arrived, you had already felt more clear headed. Each day was the same-wake up without an alarm, make a cup of coffee, read on the porch, walk along the beach, make lunch, read some more (on the beach) and then relax on the couch until dinnertime.
You had arrived at the ‘read on the beach’ portion of your day yet again, which maybe was your favorite. You had picked a lighthearted romance to accompany you today, which felt only appropriate for your surroundings. The beach was quiet this afternoon…probably because you had come in the off season, the weather not quite warm enough for bathing suits yet. Nevertheless, you were excited to start your new book and enjoy the sounds of the ocean in the background. After a few chapters, you find yourself nodding off in your chair due to just how relaxed you are.
You wake to the sound of the surf crashing against an outcropping of rocks not too far away from you. The book you’re reading falls to the sand as you stand up, squinting down at your watch to see what time it is. 7:43 already?! Sure enough, on the horizon you can see the sun starting to dip beyond where the skyline meets the water. As you’re looking out, you suddenly see a flash of something that almost looks metallic glinting in the waning sunlight, just beyond the outcropping of rocks. You move forward until you’re on the edge of the shoreline. Maybe you made it up…what would be reflecting sunlight like that at this time of day? Right before you give up and head back to your house, you see it again. Something reflecting the sun, brighter than the top of the water.
This time, you start to walk out towards the object. Maybe someone lost something valuable and you could retrieve it and help them out. Before long, you’re up to your waist in the water, your shorts waterlogged. Undeterred, you go further, and before long, you’re treading water near the outcropping of rocks, looking for whatever this mysterious object is…but you see nothing. You swim around to the other side of the rocks…still nothing. By this time, the sun has crept most of the way beyond the horizon and you’re starting to shiver. You had worn a sweatshirt to keep warm from the occasional breeze, and it’s become heavy with water and is starting to irritate your skin. As you turn to swim back towards the shore, your body suddenly is lifted up by a wave and on the way down, you scrape your arm against the rocks. You gasp in pain, pulling it towards you to see how badly you’re hurt. What you don’t see is another wave coming your way. It pulls you up again and crashes down, pushing you under the water. You fight to make your way back to the surface, but the force of the wave leaves it unclear which way is up. You twist your body around, finally gaining traction, when there it is again…a metallic glint of something, this time under the water. And…it almost looks…pink? That’s the last thought you have as the current slams your body into the rocks and you float into unconsciousness.
—-------------------------------------
You wake with a start, coughing violently and spitting out what feels like liters of water. Your lungs and throat burn from all the salt and it’s difficult to catch your breath for a minute or two. You eventually sit up and notice it’s now completely dark outside. How long have you been unconscious? As you sit trying to gather yourself, you hear what sounds like faint humming coming from the water…more specifically, from the outcropping of rocks. You get to your feet unsteadily, warily walking towards the water, but not close enough to touch the water. It’s definitely humming…and it sounds like a man’s voice? You can’t make out the words, if there even are any…and just as your feet are starting to touch the edge of the ocean, you hear a large splash directly behind where you know the rocks end. It’s too dark to see anything, but you take that as your cue to gather your items, go back to your house, and go to bed.
You sleep later than you have in a while after your scare, and you spend the next few days avoiding the beach. You have no idea what you heard (surely there was not a person humming in the middle of the night?), and the giant splash also remains a mystery. Maybe it’s better to just forget about what happened. Maybe you should just move on…so you decide to finally brave the beach again, this time staying away from the water and sticking to your beach chair to read.
The afternoon goes by uneventfully, and you’re about halfway through your book when you get a couple of notifications on your phone. You pull the device from your bag and see a text from your friend Caroline asking how your mini-vacation is going. You smile to yourself as you pull up the other notification, and your smile immediately drops as you see a weather alert for an incoming storm that is supposed to have high speed winds and the potential to develop into a tornado.
You start to put everything back into your bag to leave when you notice another figure further down the beach. As the figure draws closer, you see it’s a man that seems to be around your age, maybe a little younger. He’s dressed in oversized clothes, a holey white shirt almost reaching the knees of his equally holey black pants. He looks lost in the clothes more than seeming it’s a look he’s trying to achieve, and as he comes closer, you see that his face also looks lost. You debate asking if he needs any help, but before you decide one way or another, he notices you and heads your way.
You smile tentatively as he draws closer. “Are you okay?” you ask.
“...me?”
“Well, I don’t see anyone else wandering down the beach. You know it’s about to storm, right?”
“I didn’t know, exactly…but I kinda figured. The clouds don’t look too happy,” he replies, brushing his damp bangs out of his eyes.
“Are you lost or something?” The man’s eyebrows raise to meet his hair, eyes going wide.
“Kind of…it’s a long story. One that you probably wouldn’t believe most of anyway,” he says, shyly rubbing the back of his neck.
You cross your arms over your chest, unimpressed. “Try me.” He grins in return, the smile lighting up his whole face.
“I would, but I’m a little more worried about where I’m going to wait out this storm.” The man grimaces as the sky, as if on cue, starts to drop large raindrops onto the sand.
You could invite this stranger into your home to wait out the storm…but he’s a stranger. But it would be cruel to leave him in a storm, right? Before you have time to think any more, the raindrops become more steady, leaving cold rivulets down both of your arms.
“What’s your name?” you ask.
“Changbin. Yours?”
You tell Changbin your name in return, and just as you begin to ask if he wants to wait out the storm with you, the rain turns into a full=--out downpour.
“Follow me!” you yell over the storm, quickly grabbing your bag, slinging it over your shoulder and breaking into a jog towards your house.
Changbin struggles behind you. Not only is his clothing slowing him down with how baggy it is, but he’s running as if…as if he’s never run a day in his life, you notice. It’s baffling to you, but without thinking, you reach back for his hand to make sure he’s able to keep up with you and knows where to go.
The two of you arrive soaked on your porch, dripping everywhere. You dig around in a storage box for towels and you hand him one. Changbin watches you as you place the towel around your shoulders and quietly copies you as you wring out your shirt and try to dry your hair. This baffles you as well…how does an adult man not know how to run properly, and then needs prompting to dry off with a towel? Nevertheless, you unlock the front door and go inside, with him following closely behind you.
“You’re not like a serial killer or something, right?” you suddenly blurt, turning to face Changbin. He lets out a giggle and shakes his head at you.
“I have never killed anything or anyone in my life, and I wasn’t planning on starting anytime soon.” You let out a relieved laugh, though you aren’t completely sure about him yet.
You show him to the guest room and tell him you’re going to change clothes and that he can do the same, just borrowing some of your brother’s old clothes.
You both emerge a few minutes later, you in a pair of sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt, Changbin in gym shorts and a black tee that almost looks too tight as it hugs his very defined chest. Not that you noticed or anything. Ahem.
He follows you this time to the living room and you motion for him to sit on the couch as you go into the kitchen and make the two of you a cup of tea. Just as you hand him a mug and sit down beside him, there’s a bright flash of lightning and following that, the power promptly goes out.
Without warning, Changbin grasps at your hand, nervously gripping it. Your other hand reaches for his wrist and pats gently, reassuring him.
“Changbin, it’s fine, it’s just the power. I have some candles somewhere around here…let me find them.”
He says nothing in reply, but his grip doesn’t ease.
“...that requires you to let go of my hand,” you say gently. Changbin clears his throat and lets out a nervous chuckle.
“Sorry about that.”
“It’s okay…I’ll be right back.”
You get up and feel around for your side table that has a drawer, knowing there are candles inside. After bumping your hip into both an armchair and another table, Changbin loudly protesting that you should just come back and sit down to stop from hurting yourself, you finally find the correct table and gather a few candles along with a lighter. You place them around the room, putting the last one on the table in front of the couch. As the light illuminates his face, you notice Changbin looking amazed. He slides from the couch onto his knees, face even with the candle.
“What, have you never seen a candle before?” you laugh, but he shakes his head slowly, eyes still trained on the flame in front of him. He suddenly seems to realize what he’s admitted, looking up and locking eyes with you.
“Who are you? What’s your story I won’t believe?” you muse aloud, half to yourself.
Changbin stands and situates himself back onto the couch and pats the seat beside him.
“I think you’re going to want to sit for this…”
—--------------------------------------
“So you’re telling me…you’re a merman?!” you whisper-yell, though no one is around to hear you except Changbin. He nods.
“And you’re a human because…?”
“Because my brother found a spellbook, and he wanted to help ‘cause he knew that I’d always been fascinated by the human world, so he cast a spell and now I’m human. That’s why I was wearing those clothes when you found me.”
You sit, mouth slightly ajar from all the information you’re trying to process at once.
“What are the parameters of the spell then? Aren’t you supposed to give up your voice or something?” Changbin cocks his head at you, looking like a confused dog.
“Why would I have to give up my voice, how would that be helpful?” You wave off his question impatiently, motioning for him to continue explaining.
“The problem is, I don’t know what the parameters are…and neither did Hyunjin when he did the spell. He’s not exactly a sea witch or anything. So I guess I’m just making the best of it while I can…I want to experience everything that I can!” He gets louder as he gets more excited until it looks like he’s about to bounce out of his seat. It makes you smile.
“Well…for starters, you can stay here in my brother’s room. Unless you figured out something else?” Changbin gives a small shake of his head. “I don’t know how good of a tour guide to humanity I’ll be, but I can try.” His smile makes his eyes crinkle.
“I’ll repay you by teaching you how to swim properly,” he chuckles.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Oh, um…well…I kind of saw you the other day. You almost died!” he exclaims, hands gesticulating wildly. “You need to be a strong enough swimmer to save your own life.”
“You mean the day I passed out and washed up on shore? Wait a minute…was that you?!” Changbin nods sheepishly. “I went out in the water because I saw you! Your tail! It was reflecting the sunset so beautifully…” A blotchy flush starts to work its way up his neck towards his face.
“But you almost died! Forget my tail…”
“Did the current wash me back up onto shore? I don’t remember anything until I woke up on the beach,” you muse, trying to recall what might have happened.
Changbin shakes his head again. “I…I grabbed you once you fell unconscious and pulled you back onto land,” he says quietly. “I couldn’t watch you die, no matter what any of my brothers say about the human world.”
Before you’re fully aware of what your own body is doing, you find yourself on the couch beside him enveloping him in a hug. His arms find their way around you, mirroring your actions.
“Thank you,” you whisper, tears collecting on your lash line. He pulls you in even closer somehow, his warmth burning through your clothes.
“Hey, hey…no crying! You’re here, right? I told you, I wasn’t going to let someone die on my watch. Especially not a girl as pretty as you,” he laughs. You look up at him, and you can feel heat emanating from your face that has nothing to do with the hug. “But like I said…I’m teaching you how to swim properly so I don’t have to worry about you when I’m not around.” You give a small nod, wiping the remnants of your tears away.
—--------------------------------
And so the days pass, Changbin staying with you and learning bit by bit about the human world. You take him grocery shopping, introduce him to ice cream, and show him everything you find comforting about the small town you used to vacation in. You point out the community theater you used to perform summer musicals in, go to the local coffee shop to get your favorite vanilla latte (Changbin finds that he is partial to their hazelnut latte), and take walks along the shoreline at sunset. It’s on one of these walks that you find yourself asking him more about his brothers.
“Chan is the oldest, and he acts like it…super mature, super dependable. Minho’s a little older than me, but he’s kinda off in his own world. Loves animals. Then Hyunjin is next after me, he’s the one who turned me human. Jisung is the next youngest, he’s always hanging out with Minho. He’s very talented at music. Felix is the literal embodiment of sunshine and bubbles, you’d love him, everyone does. Seungmin is a menace, but very funny. And Jeongin’s the baby, but we all know he’s the one who’s really in charge.” You laugh at this, enjoying watching him explain his family dynamics. “What about you?”
“What about me?”
“What’s your family like?” Changbin is so earnest, it takes you aback.
“I mean, nothing that exciting. I’m decently close with my parents, and I have a younger sister. We don’t talk all the time, but we don’t not get along. There’s not much to say.”
“So why are you here then? At your summer house…alone?” You stop walking and he does the same, still looking at you.
“Work’s been…hard. Not even the job itself, but I just moved again and I’m still getting used to everything. I needed a break, so I came here. Where everything is familiar. Well, it was until you came along.” You nudge his shoulder playfully, but he looks thoughtful.
“Did I ruin your break?” he asks.
“What? No, no, of course not!” You shake your head vehemently.
“You can tell me if I did…I am staying in your house and taking up an awful lot of your time.”
You shake your head again. “No, really, it’s fine…honestly, you’ve made it better. If I had been alone the whole time, I would have gotten way too into my head and it would have been a mess. I’ve enjoyed showing you what it’s like to be a human…well, at least what it’s like to live my life.”
“I love it! Your life is so…cozy? I’m not sure that’s the right word, but it feels so comfortable being with you.” He’s not sure what comes over him, but Changbin reaches out and grabs your hand, motioning you to continue your walk. You start walking again as the sun dips behind the horizon, but his hand remains with yours.
“You know, I don’t normally let strange men into my house.” He laughs. “But I’m glad I invited you in during that storm…I’ve felt comfortable too.” You squeeze his hand, and he returns the gesture.
The moon is almost full, illuminating the beach as you walk. In the distance, Changbin notices a building looming large. “What’s that?” he asks, gesturing with your intertwined hands. You follow the gesture with your eyes, realizing what it is even in the dark.
“Oh, that’s the sea turtle center! They do a lot of work during the summer, the turtles come and lay their eggs a little further down the beach. They’re actually throwing their annual charity ball in a week or so to raise funds for their summer season.”
Changbin’s eyes go wide with excitement, almost sparkling in the moonlight.
“What?” you laugh. He reaches and grabs your other hand, turning you to face him fully.
“Can we go? Are we allowed to?” You can’t think of a reason why not, so you nod. His excitement is palpable as a smile takes over his face and he shakes your hands back and forth.
“I’m so excited for you to teach me how to dance!”
—----------------------------------------------
And that’s how you find yourself in your dining room a week later, table and chairs pushed to the side to make a temporary dance floor. Changbin has one hand around your waist, the other grasped in yours. You’d been teaching him how to ballroom dance for the past hour, starting with a simple box step and working your way up to a waltz.
“The timing of this feels so weird,” he laughs as the two of you step together. You giggle as you fall off balance and out of step with the 1-2-3 timing.
“It does at first, but when you get it right, it feels like you’re floating across the floor,” you sigh dreamily. “The closest we’ll get to flying.”
A soft smile works its way onto Changbin’s face, and he repositions himself to start the dance again, pulling you even closer to him than before.
“Let’s try again,” he says.
“Are you sure? We’ve been at this for an hour, we can take a break.”
He squeezes your hip gently in response. “I’m sure…I want to fly with you.”
Your head falls to his shoulder at this remark, hiding your face from him. “Are you okay? Did I do something wrong?” His voice rumbles through his chest, the vibrations making their way to where your forehead meets his shirt. You shake your head, still hiding your face. “Look at me…please?” he pleads, voice laden with the beginnings of worry.
You lift your head slowly, your eyes finally meeting his gaze.
“You’re okay?” You nod. “Why did you react that way?” You swallow nervously, picking at your fingernails. You can practically feel your face getting blotchy with embarrassment.
“What you said…that’s why I reacted that way.” Changbin raises an eyebrow, still not quite comprehending. “It’s…it’s the most romantic thing anyone’s ever said to me. And I’ve only just met you.” Your breath hitches at the realization, and you’re shocked by the sudden tears swimming in your eyes.
“Hey, hey…there’s no need to cry, pretty,” he places his hands gently on the sides of your face, rubbing his thumb where an errant tear had escaped your lash line. His kindness causes more tears to make their way down your cheeks and he simply stands there in the silence with you, wiping them away as they come. After a few minutes, he tentatively reaches for your hand and brings you over to the couch, where he lays a blanket over you once you’ve sat down.
You start to protest, but he quiets you by telling you he’ll be right back. He pads off to the kitchen and returns ten minutes later with a mug of hot chocolate that he extends to you. “Be careful, it’s hot,” he warns, gently placing it into your open hands.
You look at the swirling mini marshmallows that are floating on the steaming chocolate and turn to Changbin who has sat down next to you. At the questioning look on your face, he turns playfully indignant. “Hey! I made not have ever made hot chocolate before, but I can read instructions!” You laugh, and he moves his arm around your shoulder drawing him into his warmth. “Is this okay?” He looks nervous as he searches your face for any sign of impending tears. You nod, adjusting to become more comfortable to show him that you’re fine.
Changbin draws the blanket around the both of you and turns the tv on to start a movie. You can’t help but laugh as you see that he’s chosen The Little Mermaid. Your laughter doubles as you watch the faces of disbelief that he makes throughout the movie, with loud exclamations about how life underwater is nothing like what is being portrayed.
“It’s a movie, Binnie,” you insist, still giggling.
“Huh?” He looks over at you, eyes wide.
“It’s a movie, I said.”
“No, I know that…what did you call me?”
You sit up cautiously. “...Binnie? Is that okay?” It’s your turn to be nervous. You’d never called him that, but it had just slipped out.
“I love it,” he smiles, the fullness of it crinkling his eyes into half moons. You breathe a sigh of relief, sinking back into the warmth of his hold.
Between the hot chocolate, blanket, and Changbin’s body heat, you find yourself nodding off towards the end of the movie. Changbin notices and starts drawing shapes on your arm with his thumb, hoping to further soothe you into slumber…and it works.
He smiles down at you folded into the crook of his arm, deep breaths reassuring him that you were getting the rest you needed. He cautiously leans down, careful not to disturb you, and places a gentle kiss on the top of your head. You smell like coconut and the ocean, which makes him smile.
“You deserve to be told romantic things every day,” he murmurs into the crown of your head. “Every single day.”
—--------------------------------------------
You wake to the sunrise, still on the couch, vaguely remembering that you must have fallen asleep during the movie you were watching the night before. You stretch your legs out from where they were curled into your side and realize that you are still snuggled into Changbin’s side, except his head is now on top of yours from whenever he eventually fell asleep as well. You can’t help but smile to yourself as you slowly attempt to disentangle yourself from the man next to you. Just as you think you’re going to make your escape, he lets out a muffled whine and tightens his grip around you, forcing the side of your face into his chest. You laugh, reaching your hand to slowly draw shapes on his side.
“Binnie…” you murmur softly, tracing your fingers up and down his torso. Nothing. “Binnie…” you try again, this time a little louder. As your hand hits his waist again, he twitches and his eyes snap open.
“Stop, that tickles!” he whines, burying his face into your hair.
“Good morning to you too, sleepyhead,” you laugh, but stop the movements of your hand.
“That’s rich coming from you, the one who fell asleep right before the end of the movie.” Changbin gently disentangles himself from you, and you can see him playfully roll his eyes as he stretches his arms above his head, a sliver of his stomach showing beneath his black shirt. Not that you noticed or anything.
“What time is it, anyway?” he asks. You squint over at the clock across the room.
“7:05.” He groans.
“It’s too early…why did you wake me up?” You laugh in response.
“The sun woke me up, take it up with Mother Nature.” He rolls his eyes again, but a smile plays across his features.
“Well, since we’re up, it’s a perfect time for you to learn to swim properly!” He reaches for your hand as he stands up, yanking you up with him. He’s a little forceful, making you reach out and stabilize yourself-with both your hands splayed across his chest.
“Little forward this morning, are we?” he wriggles his eyebrows suggestively, causing you to break out in a fit of giggles.
“Something like that,” you concede, reaching out to sweep an errant curl off his forehead. Changbin’s eyes soften as you do so, mapping out every detail of your expression.
“You’re really pretty. You know that, right?” He tilts his head, looking at you.
“Changbin, I literally look like I just got dragged through a bush backwards, but I appreciate you trying to be nice.”
“I’m not being nice…I’m being blunt, if anything,” he muses, still cataloging your face. Though his eyes have also started to roam the rest of your body as well.
“My hair is a rat’s nest, my makeup is smeared from falling asleep…and I think I have dried drool on the corner of my mouth?!” you realize in horror, trying to wipe your face clean.
Changbin grabs your hand and stops it mid-motion, then takes over himself. Wipes the corner of your mouth with his thumb, moving to gently swipe under your eyes where your mascara has flaked. You can feel the heat emanating from your face, burning with embarrassment.
“No need to be embarrassed, pretty.” You duck your head, feeling called out. “Look at me.” You raise your head to look at Changbin again. “You are really pretty. Always. But I think this might be my favorite.” He smiles shyly at you.
“Why?” you whisper.
“Because…because you’re rested. Because you’re taking care of yourself. Because I think I might be the only person that gets to see you like this.” You nod almost imperceptibly, confirming his statement. His smile grows and he gently holds your face between his hands.
“Can I kiss you?” The tips of his ears are red as he asks the question, searching your eyes hopefully. You lean closer, your breath fanning across his full lips.
“I’d like that,” you breathe, and before you can move any further, Changbin has closed the space between you, lips slotting over yours.
You sigh into the kiss, and you can feel Changbin’s smile in return as he moves his hands from your face to your waist, squeezing and drawing you closer to himself.
What starts as very sweet and tentative quickly becomes more urgent, with your hands tangled in his curls, his moving under your shirt. A sigh escapes your lips as you feel his thumbs ghost the undersides of your breasts, and he takes the opportunity to slot his tongue into your mouth, which you welcome.
After a few moments, you both come up for air and Changbin breaks into a fit of laughter.
“What’s so funny?”
“Nothing really…it’s just that I never could have predicted this would happen when I got turned into a human. I’m really gonna have to thank Hyunjin the next time I see him, huh?”
This causes you to join in his laughter, and you pull him close again to land a soft kiss on his nose.
“I guess you have to. After you introduce me, of course. Also…I believe I was promised a swimming lesson?”
“Ah yes, an excuse to see me half naked.” Changbin rolls his eyes and you swat his chest playfully. “You’ll get your swimming lesson after breakfast, can’t have you passing out on me again.” He grabs your hand, intertwining your fingers and pulling you towards the kitchen.
“One sunrise special coming up!”
—-----------------------------------------
And that’s how you end up spending most of the day in the ocean with Changbin. Your swimming skills aren’t quite as bad as he thought (you did get thrown into a rock by a wave, after all), but he’s still able to adjust your form on several different strokes. Even when you’re not doing much, it seems like he’s able to find some way to have his hand ghost along your lower back…or he finds an excuse to sweep strands of wet hair behind your ear…or he’s tightening the strings of your swimsuit ‘just in case’.
Once you notice your fingers starting to get wrinkly, the two of you collapse onto towels on the shore. You’re silent for a while, content to rest in each others’ presence. Then something you’ve been thinking about for a while escapes your lips.
“Don’t you miss your brothers?”
Changbin turns to face you, his lips forming a small pout. “Sure I do. I mean, I don’t miss Seungmin teasing me all the time or Chan’s terrible dad jokes, but generally I do miss them…yeah.”
“I’m sorry,” you whisper, studying his expression as his brow furrows.
“Why are you sorry? You haven’t done anything wrong, lovely.” He reaches his hand towards you, making a grabby motion until you reach out and intertwine your fingers with his.
“I dunno…I just feel bad that I can’t do anything to fix it or help. Maybe I should’ve been helping you research how to turn back into a merman or something, instead I’ve just been taking up all your time with silly things like dancing and swimming and showing you around town,” you huff.
“I’ve loved doing those things with you. I can’t believe all the things I used to just see in books, or from far away, I’ve gotten to do. With you.” You smile at the pink tinting his cheeks. “I get to go to a ball with you in a few days…it’ll be like that story you told me about, what was it again?”
“You mean Cinderella?” you laugh, and he nods excitedly.
“You just gotta promise not to run away at midnight and turn into a pumpkin, or whatever it was.” He leans up onto his forearms, scooting himself closer to you. “Can you do that?”
“I can’t make any promises about what happens if I’m up that late past my bedtime, Binnie.” He huffs out a laugh before swooping in for a quick peck to your lips.
“Fine, fine. I can’t wait to see you in your dress…I just know you’re going to be the most beautiful person there.” Changbin’s eyes are sparkling as he looks at you, and it makes you feel gooey inside.
“We’ll see about that.”
—-------------------------------------------
“...I told you, gorgeous.” Changbin lets out a low whistle as you come out of your bedroom and into the living room where he’s waiting. He’s wearing a three piece navy suit to match your floor length sparkly navy gown.
“You look amazing too,” you reply. “So handsome.” You run your hands over his lapel and then down his arms, stopping to squeeze his biceps. “Be careful, you might rip your jacket,” you smirk.
“Hands off, ma’am…this is a classy affair.” You dissolve into a fit of giggles and Changbin tries to keep a straight face but fails miserably, his own squeaky giggles echoing your own. Once the two of you collect yourselves, he offers his arm to you and you gladly accept.
Though it’s not far, you end up driving to the conservation center to save your feet from walking any more in heels than they need to. As you enter the ballroom, you gasp. They’ve outdone themselves with the decorations-the ceiling is full of twinkling lights wrapped through gauze, there are multiple tables laden with appetizers, desserts, and drinks, and the dancefloor is massive. As you walk towards an empty table, a waiter walks by and offers the two of you champagne, which you take happily. You claim two spaces and turn to see Changbin’s eyes grow wide as he sips his drink.
“It’s so…bubbly!” He exclaims, and you laugh at his expression.
“I guess you’ve never had alcohol before, huh?” He shakes his head. “It’ll make you a little lightheaded if you don’t eat anything, let’s grab some food.”
The two of you walk over to one of the many food tables, and Changbin starts loading down his plate with at least one of everything, multiple if he thinks something looks especially good. He notices you being more careful with your choices and raises his brow in confusion.
“Why aren’t you trying anything else? It all looks so good!” He lifts his own plate toward you as evidence.
“This dress is already tight, I don’t want to be bloated and it shows…or worst case, I rip a seam or something.” Your face blanches at the thought.
Changbin immediately grabs your hand and steers you back toward your table. Once you’ve taken a seat, he starts putting items from his plate onto a fork and holds it up to you.
“Try it,” he pleads with puppy dog eyes. You begrudgingly obey and he gently places the food in your mouth. It’s some sort of quiche tartlet with ham you think…or maybe bacon. Either way, it’s delicious and you can’t help the moan that escapes your lips at the taste. Changbin’s eyes light up at your delight. “See, it’s so good! I told you!”
You spend the next ten to fifteen minutes sharing Changbin’s plate with him. He takes a bite, then insists that you take the next…until you’ve had tartlets, sliders, trifles, assorted crackers with cheeses and jams, and they’re all unbelievably delicious.
“Full?” he asks, and you nod, feeling sated. “Good. You’ve got a little bit of jam…just there…” He leans in and meets your mouth with his, swiping his tongue gently over your lower lip. As he moves back, you notice his eyes have darkened. “Delicious,” he smirks as he leans into his chair. As if suddenly remembering something, he sits up closer to you and reaches over to run his hands down your sides, his mouth hovering close to your ear. “This dress shows every last curve on your body, and I love it…I’m just jealous I’m not the only one who gets to see it.”
Before you can even think to reply, he’s moved to stand by your side, holding a hand out towards you.
“May I have this dance?”
—-----------------------------------------
For having just learned to dance, Changbin is impressive. He’s able to lead you successfully through a few opening dances, and freestyles hilariously (though still on beat). The night is full of champagne bubbles, stolen kisses, and soft laughter.
You feel truly content for the first time in a long time as you slow dance, your forehead tilted and touching Changbin’s. “How are you real?” you breathe out without thinking.
“I could ask the same of you, you know.” He places a gentle kiss on your temple and sways with you on the dancefloor.
You swallow thickly as you lift your eyes to meet his. “What happens…what happens when you go back?” Changbin’s brow furrows as he considers your question.
“Maybe I don’t go back,” his answer is tentative, searching for your response. Your eyes grow wide.
“You-you want to stay human?”
Before he can answer, there’s a commotion across the room. You try to see what’s happening, even reaching up on your tiptoes, but just as a lanky figure with black hair comes into view, a silky voice travels from the stranger to the two of you, making goosebumps erupt across your skin.
“Hello, brother.”
—---------------------------------------
“Hyunjin?! What’re you-how are you-you’re here?!” Changbin splutters in disbelief. The stranger, who you now know is his brother, merely nods with a small smile on his face.
Changbin closes the space with the taller man and envelopes him in a hug that makes Hyunjin wince before he gently extracts himself. “How are you here?” Changbin repeats, still wide eyed.
“Same as you, brother. I made myself into a human…you were surprisingly hard to track down tonight.” Hyunjin walks towards the conservation center’s balcony, away from the crowd and you and Changbin follow.
“Why were you looking for me?” Hyunjin crosses his arms over his chest and raises a brow at his older brother’s question.
“Did you really not think I would find you eventually? Did you plan on being a human forever?” A snide laugh escapes Hyunjin’s lips at his own question.
At this, Changbin crosses his arms over his chest matching the man before him. “And what if I did?” Your eyes grow wide at his response and you step towards him, reaching for his hand. As Changbin firmly intertwines your fingers, Hyunjin follows the motion with his eyes, a smirk taking over his features.
“Ah yes…this must be the reason you think you could stay human.” Hyunjin cocks his head to the side, appraising you. “I suppose she is rather pretty,” he admits, reaching out and tucking a loose hair behind your ear.
Changbin steps forward, angling himself between you and Hyunjin. “Don’t touch her.”
Hyunjin huffs out a laugh. “And what are you going to do to stop me? I’m the one who turned you into a human in the first place…you wouldn’t have even met her if it wasn’t for me.” His voice is dripping with derision as he looks over the two of you.
“What happened to you? The brother I know would never act like this.” Changbin sounds disappointed, and you can hear the sadness behind his words.
“The brother you know? You were always so happy to be in your own little world, daydreaming about the human world, being so close with Chan…do you even know why I agreed to help you turn into a human?” You see Changbin swallow thickly as he shakes his head. Hyunjin rolls his eyes. “Of course you don’t.”
Hyunjin gazes out at the shoreline from the edge of the balcony and lets out a giant sigh. “It’s because of the compass. It’s always been about the compass.”
“What compass?” you ask, the first words you’ve spoken since Hyunjin’s arrival. He cuts a quick glance to you and then goes back to staring at the water.
“Since Chan is the oldest, he has a compass. It’s the only thing we have related to our parents, it’s a magical relic of sorts…it can help you realize whatever your heart’s desire is. Dreams. Anyway, Chan refuses to use it, says he has his heart’s desire already, whatever that is. At some point, it would pass down to the other brothers. I knew Minho had no interest in it, he’s happy to live life the way he is. Which meant dear Changbin here was next in line.”
You look over at Changbin, and his expression is stormy. You squeeze his hand reassuringly, which seems to ground him. He steps a little closer to you and kisses your temple and runs his thumb over the back of your hand.
“How sweet.” Hyunjin’s voice is void of emotion as he watches the exchange. “As I was saying, he was in the way of me getting the compass. So I decided to offer him something he couldn’t say no to-a chance at being human. I knew he couldn’t resist, especially after he saved you…he wouldn’t shut up about it. I had picked up enough magic from studying how the compass worked to figure it out. And here we are.”
Changbin’s voice is shaky and small when he finally speaks. “So you tricked and manipulated me. Why are you here now, then? I’m sure you wouldn’t be here if you hadn’t gotten your hands on what you wanted.”
A small smile works its way onto Hyunjin’s face, one that looks like it actually may have some small sliver of kindness. “I did get what I wanted, actually. I convinced Chan to give it to me once he realized you were missing…I told him I would find you and bring you back. And here I am. I may have manipulated you, brother, but I would never leave you stranded. Pretty girl or not, you belong with us. As a merman.”
Hyunjin’s hands start to glow faintly, a turquoise that grows brighter as he begins to motion towards Changbin.
“Wait, we need to talk about this-Hyunjin, don’t-” Changbin protests, but Hyunjin doesn’t even seem to hear him. The glow has traveled from his hands and is making its way up his arms, and he almost seems to be in some sort of trance. Changbin notices as well, and moves towards his brother, reaching to grab his hands.
You move without thinking, stepping in front of Changbin and grasping Hyunjin’s hands. The turquoise glow slowly transfers from Hyunjin’s body to yours…but instead of traveling up your arms, it flows down towards your legs and feet. It feels like a million needles piercing through your skin and into your bones, and you let out an involuntary scream. The noise seems to break through Hyunjin’s trance, and his eyes widen in shock. He tries to remove his hands from yours, but they won’t budge.
“I-I can’t let go! Changbin, help!” All traces of bravado are gone from Hyunjin’s face, almost making him look like a small child. Changbin rushes behind his brother and wraps his hands around Hyunjin’s arms and pulls, but even with his added strength nothing happens.
You’ve collapsed to your knees at this point, pained whimpers escaping you every few seconds, tears streaming down your face from the pain. Changbin is on the verge of tears himsef, but he’s too afraid to touch you for fear of making things worse.
“Please just hold on…please. We’ll figure out how to fix this. We will. Promise.” His voice is small and scared, and it makes you cry even harder.
“I’m so sorry, I was just trying to help…I thought he was going to hurt you,” you hiccup. Just as you think you won’t be able to handle any more pain, the glow fades and you fully collapse onto the balcony floor. Changbin immediately rushes to you, cradling your upper half in his arms, alternating between running his hand over your hair and wiping away your tears.
“What did you do?!” he demands of Hyunjin, eyes full of fury. Hyunjin stares blankly down at the two of you in shock and just shakes his head.
Changbin turns to you as he stands, holding out a hand to help you up. “Let’s get you home, hmm?” His eyes are soft as he looks down at you. You reach up to grasp his hand, and as your fingers graze his, the needle feeling is back, but this time in your lungs.
“Binnie, I can’t…I can’t…it hurts…” you wheeze, gasping and holding your chest.
He drops to his knees immediately, hands flying to cup your face. “What hurts? What is it?” Changbin starts frantically checking you for injuries…your head, arms, torso…nothing. Until he reaches your legs. He gathers the fabric of your dress in his hands to check your legs and a shaky gasp leaves his lips. You look down and any amount of air you’d been able to gather in your lungs leaves.
Where your legs should be, there is a navy blue tail. A mermaid tail.
Changbin looks up at you, his mouth open in shock. “You’re…you…you can’t breathe!” he realizes, jumping up to his feet and rounding on Hyunjin. “What did you DO TO HER?!” he bellows this time. Before Hyunjin has a chance to answer, there’s a loud crack.
You look up, still gasping and only able to draw small breaths. Blood is pouring down Hyunjin’s face-Changbin has broken his nose. You’re suddenly being picked up-Changbin is carrying you to the ocean at a jog. Once you reach the shoreline, he slows as he wades out into the water with you. Once you’re submerged up to your chest, you gasp in a large breath…the feeling of stabbing needles is gone, and you’re able to regulate your breathing.
“Are you okay?” Changbin whispers, eyes wide.
You nod as the waves lap against your arms. “I always wanted to be a mermaid when I was little.” Changbin lets out a choked laugh at your response.
“Well, for what it’s worth, your tail is also very pretty…I’ve never seen a navy blue one.” You bury your face in the crook of his neck at the compliment. “You’re getting embarrassed? After you were turned into a mermaid?! You’re awfully calm for someone who should be panicking…” You lean back in his arms, and notice he seems to be the one panicking.
You shrug. “I’m with you. Why would I panic?” you say simply. Tears gather and spill onto his cheeks.
“What did I ever do to deserve you?” he murmurs into your hair.
“Nothing. I chose you. And you deserve to be chosen.”
Changbin smiles and gently lowers you into the water, still holding your hands as he leads you out to deeper waters where you can swim comfortably.
“I choose you too. Mermaid or human,” he smiles, and you smile back. “But…we should probably figure out a way to turn you back. Your family will miss you too much.”
“...I think I can help with that.” A small voice reaches the two of you, and you look back to see Hyunjin slowly wading towards you.
“I think you’ve done quite enough for a whole lifetime, don’t you?” Changbin spits harshly, and Hyunjin flinches as he reaches you.
“I have…but I think I know how this can be fixed. And not with my magic.”
Changbin raises a brow, skeptical. “Let him talk,” you urge, laying a gentle hand on Changbin’s arm.
“Thanks.” Hyunjin sends a small smile your way. “I think I know how to fix this. No magic…well, none of mine anyway.”
“So whose, then? Chan? We are not bringing him into this…though I’m sure he’d love to know what you’ve been up to.”
“Not mine, not Chan’s…yours.”
“What do you mean, mine? I don’t have any magic, you know that!” Changbin’s voice raises with each sentence, more and more exasperated.
“I think you might with the compass,” Hyunjin says simply. “I know before you weren’t that interested in it, but I think that maybe has changed.” He looks over at you knowingly, and holds out his hand to his brother.
Changbin reaches out and Hyunjin drops a small brass compass into his hand.
“How does it work?”
“As far as I’ve figured out, it’s almost like all those fairytales we read when we were kids. You just need to close your eyes and think about whatever your heart’s desire is.”
Changbin looks at you with worry clouding his face. “What if it doesn’t work?” he whispers.
“What if it does?” You cup his cheeks in your hands and meet his lips with yours.
He smiles softly at you. “No matter what…I love you.” You gasp and he laughs. “Are you really that surprised?”
“I guess not,” you laugh, capturing his lips in another kiss.
“Ahem,” Hyunjin interrupts you, motioning towards the compass in Changbin’s hands.
“Right…I guess I’ll see you on the other side then.” Changbin closes his eyes and furrows his brow in concentration. There is silence for a moment, then the compass starts spinning, slowly at first, then furiously.
You exchange a nervous glance with Hyunjin, and when you look back at Changbin, there is a golden glow emitting from the compass as it continues to spin. As you watch, the glow gets brighter and brighter, until you have to cover your face and turn away.
After a few moments, the glow dies down enough for you to look back at Changbin. He opens his eyes tentatively. “Are you okay?” he asks, and you nod. “Your tail?” You lean back to float on your back, and to your surprise, your feet breach the surface of the water instead of the tail that was there a minute before. A huge smile breaks across Changbin’s face and he leans back as well, his feet next to yours.
At the sight, he pulls them back under him, spluttering as he accidentally swallows water in surprise. “I still have feet!” he manages to get out between coughs.
“What did you think about?” Hyunjin asks.
“I just thought about things being the way they should be.” Changbin’s voice is laced with confusion. “I figured it would turn her back into a human, but I thought I would be a merman again too.”
“Maybe you should be human. With her.” Hyunjin smiles, gesturing to you. Changbin’s eyes follow the motion and light up when he meets your eyes.
“I mean, I kinda hoped…but I didn’t want to try my luck or anything.” You’re smiling so hard it’s hurting your cheeks, even though you have tears running down your face.
“I get to keep you…I was so scared I was going to eventually lose you,” you confess. Changbin closes the gap between you, grabbing your hand and leading you to shallower water where he proceeds to lift and spin you in his arms.
“You’re never getting rid of me now,” he smirks and you giggle into the kiss he lands on your mouth as he gently places you back on the sand.
You wrap your arms around Changbin and sway slowly with him under the light of the stars.
“I’m so happy I get to be with you. For as long as you’ll have me.” Changbin smiles at your statement, burying his head in your neck and placing a gentle kiss on your shoulder. “Also, I forgot to tell you earlier…”
He raises his head and looks at you curiously.
“...I love you too.”

Changbin's halfway through removing his headset when your moan unexpectedly breaks the silence in the next room. He raises an eyebrow, slightly surprised.
Really?
That’s the fourth time this week!
“What is she, in heat or something?” He mumbles to himself, setting the headset on the table and stretching after hours of gaming.
Sharing an apartment with your now-ex-boyfriend can be awkward at times, but given the high cost of living downtown, both of you couldn't afford separate places just yet. You both agreed to finish out the remaining nine months of the lease before figuring out your next steps.
Lately, you've noticed a significant increase in your libido. You always wait until Changbin is home after work, has taken a shower, and eaten before indulging in some personal time. During these moments, he usually hops online to play games with his friends for about two hours each night, like clockwork, unless it's a weekend when he's out enjoying himself.
You've become skilled at locking your bedroom door and discreetly satisfying your desires, all while assuming Changbin is too engrossed in his gaming to notice. Well, that was the idea, at least.
Three weeks ago, Changbin had taken a bathroom break mid-game, and that's when he first heard you. He didn't let on that he'd caught on to your secret, though. Instead, he started listening closely, standing inches from your closed bedroom door, his ears burning as he leaned in as far as he could without making a sound.
Then came that one fateful night when you said his name in the throes of passion. Changbin couldn't believe it. And that same night, he found yours spilling from his pretty  lips, under his breath as he jerks out ropes of cum from his cock, drowned out by the shower that was beating down over his shoulders and back.
You were down pretty bad for each other. It was clear that you both still had intense feelings for each other, and things were about to get even more complicated. Changbin slips into the hall to be nosy once again, but this time, he freezes as his pulse quickens.  Your door is slightly ajar. No. Go back into your room and shut the door. And lock it. He turns back around, and that's when his last thread of willpower snaps in two. “Fuck, daddy, I-” Changbin immediately covers a hand over the front of his shorts, already hard from hearing you just minutes earlier as he stealthily creeps to your door. His curiosity has completely overtaken him, and he's trying to will himself to calm back down. He shouldn't have even touched himself, because now he has his fingers curled around his aching erection, the silky fabric of his basketball shorts darkening around the wet tip as he continues to leak arousal. Once he finally catches a glimpse of you, he has to bite his lower lip to keep from cursing. You're on your bed, straddling one of your thick, fluffy pillows, your hips rocking as you hump it with a desperate need. Your back is turned, thank God, because Changbin has to push the door open just a little further to get a better view. His hand is down his pants at this point, eagerly stroking himself as he thrusts into his fist. His shorts slide against the sensitive head of his dick, intensifying the pleasure as he envisions you riding him with the same insatiable desire, lost in the heat of the moment, falling apart on his cock. Your moans transform into guttural grunts as you start to move your hips even faster, leaning down over the pillow to grip it closer to your body. Changbin can tell you're on the brink by how urgently you're thrusting, how you bite into the pillow in a futile attempt to stifle your cries of ecstasy.
"Cum for daddy," he whispers, angling his hips forward as he pulls his shorts down below his throbbing erection. He pumps himself fervently, his fingers expertly working his length, gripping the doorframe for support. "I'm close too, princess."
"Ungh, Changbin—fuck—cum inside me, God! Fucking breed me–" You see stars as you bring yourself over the edge, your body quaking with pleasure as you collapse forward, your hips coming to an abrupt stop. However, you suddenly hear something, someone, and your heart races with horror as you realize that not only did you leave the door slightly ajar, but your ex-boyfriend has just caught you in the act, and he's in the midst of pleasuring himself as well. But it's too late to stop him, and he doesn't cease until he's milked the last drop, releasing his hold on the doorframe with a sigh as he stands up straight.
Your sensitive core twitches at the sight.
"My bad, I'll... clean this up," Changbin finally mutters before adding sternly, "Lock your fucking door next time."

New Year, New Date.
mia + hongjoong
mia finally agrees to go on a date with hongjoong, making her decide what she really wants.
the update I hope y’all were waiting for. please feel free to leave some feedback, it’s always appreciated! remember, requests are OPEN!
[9th member of stray kids]
Tumblr media
mia looked at herself through her vanity mirror that she had in her room. adding some final touches to her makeup. she was getting ready to out with hongjoong, finally agreeing on that date he had been wanting to take mia on.
to say mia was nervous was an understatement as it had been awhile since the girl went on a date. of course she had been on dates with changbin but none of them made her nervous like how she felt at the moment. if anything, her date with changkyun was the last one she could remember that made her feel this way. even then, she remembered the kiss her and changbin shared that night.
changbin.
mia let out a small sigh as she stared at the picture frame she had with the photo of them two, never realizing how hard she was staring at it.
they were still messing around in secret, she wasn’t even sure what to call it. changbin showed no signs on asking mia to be his girlfriend again. it didn’t bother her at first but as time passed and she her hanging out with hongjoong became more frequently, a tiny part of her thought it was time to move on from changbin. especially since a tiny part of her also began to develop small feelings for him.
mia already knew how hongjoong felt towards her. and the last thing she wanted to do was lead him on not knowing where she really stood with changbin.
but tonight was going to answer everything, on how mia truly felt and want she wanted to do.
the girl sprayed some perfume on her, being the final thing she needed to do and stood up to look at herself through her large body mirror that was placed in the corner of her room. she smiled at herself as she smoothed out her white knitted dress then placed a black coat around her.
now, here came the hard part. trying to leave without getting questioned from the boys.
they were all together in the living room. it being a night where they all came to one dorm to be with each other. some were chatting, while others played video games. typical night for them. it didn’t help that she had ti go through the living room to leave the dorm.
so with her being mia, she swiftly went through them. “going out, see you all later.” she said as she grabbed her purse, the attention now on her.
“woah woah what?” minho said first. “you can’t go out! you’re hanging out with us!”
“I never agreed to that.” mia chuckled as she crossed her arms. “plus you guys were sure having a lot of fun without me being present.”
“where are you going at least?” jeongin questioned.
“just hanging out…” mia chewed at the inside of her mouth, jeongin’s question making her slightly nervous. “..with some friends.” she lied.
minho let out a laugh. “you don’t even have friends. we’re your friends.” the rest of the group laughed.
“I do too!”
“right…” minho laughed again. “could have fooled me, you look like you’d be going on a date dressed up like that.”
hyunjin noticed mia’s face expression change from minho’s words. “well I’m just a girl!” mia slammed the door shut, wanting to leave the dorm as fast as she could.
“something is off about her.” minho said.
***
“do they really question everything you do?” hongjoong slightly chuckled. mia rolled her eyes as she walked next to him, the two strolling down a carnival.
“yes!” mia exclaimed. “they’re like the older and younger brothers I never wanted.” mia laughed. “but I wouldn’t want it any other way. I know they do it to be funny… sometimes. I do know I can rely on them to have my back though.”
the two were munching on some popcorn, deciding to have a snack first before getting on any rides.
“enough about them. I saw you guys are going to perform as coachella this year. how great is that?”
“the group and I still can’t believe it.” hongjoong grinned. “we’re very excited about it though.”
“it’s very exciting!” mia cheered. “I’m so happy for you all- oh my god, the carousel!” the girl’s eyes brighten from seeing the ride. she instantly grabbed hongjoong’s hand, dragging him towards the direction of the ride.
“I’m assuming this is your favorite ride?” hongjoong questioned as the two walked through the ride to find a horse to get on.
“mostly definitely.” mia answered. she found one that she liked, hongjoong helping her to get on it. “always has been since I could remember.” hongjoong got on the one next to her as mia looked around at the lights and seeing others get on as well.
“thank you for coming on this date with me.”
mia softly smiled at hongjoong as the ride began. “you don’t know the feeling I got when you said yes.”
“sorry it took so long-“
“no need to apologize, I knew you weren’t ready and I understand. now I’m just hoping I don’t mess up so you can agree to go on a second date with me.”
“we’ll see how the night ends.” mia winked. “so far so good.”
after the ride, the two got on a few more rides, mia becoming thrilled with adrenaline from the rollercoaster they had just gotten off from. “gosh, mia. I don’t know how you enjoyed that.”
hongjoong placed an arm around mia, playfully leaning against her. mia chuckled. “oh come on, it wasn’t that bad.”
the two walked around, strolling some more. the carnival games were coming into view and hongjoong slowly stopped when hearing the music, hearing a familiar voice. “hey, who’s that on the speaker?”
mia looked up at hongjoong confused until she heard the song, and it was in fact her voice. “that’s me!” she squealed, hearing s-class playing. they were too into the music until hearing a man from a game stand. “come on up and play! all you gotta do is knock these three sets of bottles down and you win a prize for your lady.”
mia blushed as she looked up at hongjoong. “you don’t have-“
“oh I’m going to!”
mia stood next to hongjoong. the boy looked very focused. as he threw the first ball and ended up knocking down the bottle. “yes!” he tried again for the second and knocked it down as well. mia cheered for him
but on his third try, he had no luck.
“try again?”
hongjoong nodded, giving the man more money to try again. except this time hongjoong didn’t knock any of the bottles down. he tried for two more times and still no luck.
“hongjoong, I think that’s enough. you’re going to spend all your money here.” mia chuckled.
“one more try!” hongjoong said. he was determined to win mia a prize.
“hongjoong-“
the boy placed more money down, shaking himself off before throwing the ball and knocking down the bottle. he succeeded on the second one. “one more, mia.” he chuckled.
“you got this, son.” the man said, smiling at him.
hongjoong took a second before throwing the ball and to his surprise, he knocked the bottle down. “YEAH!” he cheered, wrapping an arm around mia and slightly picking her up. “you did it!”
“alright, which one would you like miss?”
mia looked at her options and her eyes landed on a big, tan, teddy bear. “that one, please.” she grinned.
the man got it for her, handing the bear to mia. “you have one dedicated boyfriend.”
mia chuckled as she looked back at hongjoong whose face was turning red, shaking his head. “he’s pretty great, isn’t he?” mia played along, winking at hongjoong. he became even more flustered as mia walked next to him. “thank you for this, but you didn’t have to continue all those tries”
“I couldn’t have my date be empty handed.” hongjoong said as he swung his arm around mia. “I knew I had to win it for you.”
mia smiled at him once more, hugging on her new bear tightly.
“one last ride before we head home?”
mia nodded her head, agreeing. “ferris wheel?”
and that’s exactly the ride they got on. it was a two seater one and mia had placed her bear next to her as she sat next to hongjoong.
“I had a really great time today.” hongjoong said.
“me too. it felt a little nice being away from my group members.” mia laughed.
“so does this mean I can take you on a second date?”
“hmm.” mia hummed, she didn’t know what came over her, but mia decided to be a little bold with her next actions. “I’ll give you my answer after this.”
“after what-“ hongjoong was slightly taken back when mia pressed her lips on his, kissing him softly. hongjoong didn’t waste time from kissing mia back.
the kiss sent butterflies down to mia’s stomach, feeling so intense that it was a new feeling she never felt before. kissing hongjoong felt right and naturally to her. mia knew what she wanted.
they broke apart, mia smiling at him. “woah.” hongjoong said, catching his breath. “woah.” mia laughed. “you can definitely take me on a second date.”
hongjoong said nothing more, going back to kiss mia again as the ride continued to move, ending their date.
mia was ready to move on.

24 to 25 days of SKZMAS | December 11th - Changbin

genre: second chance

11th day of SKZMAS
Tumblr media
December 11th
Changbin hates to do this. He really, really does but he cannot shake the weird feeling in his stomach. He is almost sure he is wrong, though… time to find out.
“Babe?” he asks where he is packing out the takeaway boxes from their bag. He is not a fan of pad thai, but she always convinces him to get dinner from the weirdest (and most expensive) places.
“Yeah, baby?” she asks back, lighting a candle on the table.
“I have been doing a little calculating…” he says slowly, taking a glance at her. She isn't looking at him, and he takes it as a good sign. “And I've realized we have a little less left for the holidays than I originally thought.”
“Oh, how come?” she turns around, tilting her head.
“I don't know… I was completely sure we had some on my spare card, the prepaid one?” he says, and she looks clueless as ever. “I think I should cancel that card. Someone must have stolen the details and now they’re using it.”
“Now, don’t make rushed decisions like that, boo.” she chuckles nervously, stepping to him and placing her hands around his arm. “I’m sure that no one stole the card. You must have used it and forgot it in the haze of the holidays.” she waves him off. “Besides, you would be able to ask for money from your parents, wouldn’t you?”
“Well, I would, but I don't need it.” he says with a frown. “We are not completely broke, we will just have to watch how much we spend now. Good thing we have ordered the food for the holidays in advance.” he smiles at her as he carries the food to the table. His girlfriend still has a sour expression on her face, so he goes on.
“Hey, don't worry, okay? We don't need money to be happy together, do we?”
“Well, I guess not.” she huffs. “But how will I have an outfit for Christmas and the New Years this way? I need at least 3 for the holidays and if we visit your parents then 4.” she explains with an exasperated sigh. “I need accessories for it, too.”
“Thought we already got all of it last week.” Changbin says, caressing her arm. “When we spent a smaller fortune in that designer shop… remember that blue dress? It looked amazing on you.”
“Yes, that was one dress.” she counters. “I was planning to surprise you with some more.” she pouts, poking his cheek.
“You don't need to.” Changbin says, pulling her in to kiss her cheek. “I like it most when you don't wear anything anyway.” he whispers to her with a chuckle. “How about I get the card blocked and then we take this to the bedroom?”
“No!” she breaks down, pushing him away. “That is my card!” she screams at him hysterically.
“It's- what?” Changbin asks and his eyes grow in shock. What did just happen…?
“I was using that card.” she sighs dramatically. “I figured since it’s prepaid, you wouldn’t mind and it was my spending card… clearly you wanted me to have it, otherwise why would you keep it?”
“Jesus, and you didn't think of telling me? I've been trying to figure out who is taking all the money for a week now!” Changbin exclaims. “Why didn't you tell me? And what did you buy anyway? I thought we got everything together this month? From my actual credit card?”
“I needed some shoes and gifts so that they will look better under the tree.” she exclaims. “It was a necessity and an emergency!”
“You should’ve asked me!” Changbin tells her and then, it hits him. “You- I think you should give my card back.”
“What? Why?” she gasps, clutching her purse defensively. “I have to pay for your gift tomorrow…” she lies and Changbin knows she didn't have anything planned for him. She always said she isn't good with gifts.
“Okay, then I will go with you and pay for it.” Changbin says, not backing down. He is losing his patience now and that’s really not like him.
“But, baby…” she smiles, touching his arm to distract him with her looks.
“No.” Changbin says, taking a step back. “I need to go.” he turns on his heels and grabs his coat from the hanger.
“Where are you going, honey?” she rushes after him, batting her lashes. “Come back! I will put on my cutest lingerie for you.”
“Don't wait up for me.” he says, and closes the door right before she could follow him.
In a few minutes, he is sitting in his car, driving on the streets of the city without an destination in mind. He has always found comfort in driving around, it clears his head better than any walk he could take.
He doesn't want to think about all the red flags; all the times his friends told him to beware of gold diggers, all the returned birthday presents that just “weren't the right color”, all the vacations overseas… he should've known better. Not because he has dealt with countless people who wanted to use him for money, but because of the ones who didn't.
He thinks about you. You, who were happy to receive a hand-drawn card for you birthday from him. You, who cooked for him when the fridge in the dorms was empty. You, sweet, selfless you whom his mother always adored.
Before he knows it, he is parked in a small, dark parking lot, and he doesn't take a second to realize where he is. He knows the place so well he could find his way here without trying.
It was your place, the two of you. You showed him this hidden little underground bar in the outskirts of the city, looking cold and untrustworthy on the outside but once you enter, it is warm and cozy. The exact opposite of his current relationship, he thinks bitterly as he walks in.
There is some quiet music in the background of friendly chatter and hearty laughs from the few desks in there, and it comforts Changbin instantly. He walks up to the counter to order some juice – he still needs to drive home – and he is ready to find a seat when-
There you are. Sitting at your usual table, holding something that looks like a mug of sweet mulled wine, watching him.
“Fancy seeing you here.” You call out with a sweet, comforting smile that makes his heart flutter. You pat the seat next to you and he walks over with the brightest smile that you adore so much.
to be continued...

Empty. That's what your apartment felt like after your roommate moved out. Two years of sharing spaces with your friend ended a month ago after said friend moved in with her long time boyfriend, now, you were alone. Due to a suggestion from a close friend, you decided to look for a new roommate. Bills had to be paid and honestly, you needed the space to be filled. Plus it never hurts to have someone to help with the bills.
After a copious amount of interviews with frequent partiers, a few druggies, and people who just didn't seem trustworthy in general, you were on the verge of saying ‘F' it’ and just adopting a dog or cat to fill the void. As soon as you were about to retire any thoughts of having a roommate, you got a text.
Tumblr media
Your brows furrowed as you looked over the text. “Guy?” You questioned aloud.
Tumblr media
You didn't even get a chance to respond before there was a knock on the door. Heaving a sigh, you got up from your plush velvet couch and made your way to the door. You didn't bother looking through the peephole, but you most certainly wished you would have after making eye contact with the gentleman at your door. With wide eyes, you tried your best to make it look as if you weren't surprised by his good looks.
“Y/n? Hi, I'm Chris.” He extended his hand to shake. “Minho told me you were looking for a roommate?” His smile was mesmerizing almost to the point of sleeplessness. You took his hand and shook it lightly, eyes still scanning his beautiful features. Beautiful jawline, plump lips, eyes that looked like they held the magic of the universe in them.
“It's nice to meet you, Chris. I'm Y/n- Wait, you just said that.” You laughed awkwardly before letting his hand go and stepping back so he could enter the apartment. You allowed him some time to look around alone before he joined you on the couch to talk out the details.
“Rent is 2,100 (usd), so we split that and utilities each month. We will also split and alternate chores- so if I clean the bathroom one week you clean it the next. We can work out the details if I select you out of the other applicants…” There were no other applicants. It was just him, and you knew that. Everyone else you interviewed was too strange to even be considered. You were thinking that and you were an avid supporter of letting your freak flag fly. He nodded to everything you said, taking in her words. “Any questions?” You asked, tilting your head to the side. It took him a moment before he spoke, it looked as if he was trying to figure out the right thing to say.
“My partner and I are usually together during the day at whatever place is available, would you be okay with him being over here? I'll take care of anything extra tacked onto the bills because of him. I'm usually clean so you wouldn't have to worry about cleaning up after us…” He seemed to hold his breath waiting for your reply. After his first few words you honestly kind of tuned it out. No wonder he was so good looking, he was taken. Though you could admit to being a little attracted to him at first, it was nothing to get hung up over. Bills came before romantic interest anyways. Such is the plight of adulting.
“As long as the common areas are clean and you all aren't too loud, I couldn't care less.” She shrugged. He nodded, instantly agreeing to the terms of their would-be arrangement. “But I will let you know when I come to my decision.”
Tumblr media
Months had passed and you could honestly say you were glad you picked Chris. He was cleaner than you'd thought a male roommate would be and he paid his bills on time and in full. It was great. He was also super sweet, but bordered on being a little shy at times when it came to personal matters. But for some reason you found that adorable. Like the time he blushed furiously when he saw you in nothing but a towel as you exited the hallway bathroom. He quickly shielded His eye, but not before taking in your full, damn figure, as if to memorize every inch for later assessment. But nonetheless, he was a caring cutie that you were quickly beginning to adore.
Even his partner was nice. Changbin seemed like he could be shy at first, but it only took a few minutes for him to warm up to you. He was a lively character with a heart of gold, you understood how they could be friends.
You figured out they worked together as personal trainers at a near-by gym. It didn't take much sleuthing, Chris had told you his occupation the first time you'd met him. But being that you were too busy watching his ass as he meandered from room to room, meant that you were more than a little distracted.
Him and his friend were, odd to say the least. You'd often hear grunts and moans coming from Chris’s room, lots of yelling for one or the other to go harder or to keep going. Which you thought could be them just ‘exercising’, since you had never seen them kiss or do anything that alluded to them being ‘together’. Figuring they were just being respectful of your presence, not wanting To make your perpetually alone existence any harder to bear. But them not being themselves made you feel even worse. They should be comfortable, especially Chris, since he actually lived here.
Tumblr media
One Friday, after the guys had finished their day at the gym, they both settled in at you and Chris’s place and ordered food. “You think she's okay in there?” Changbin asked as he stuffed a slice of pizza in his face, most of the words muffled by the action. He desperately needed to refuel after the day he'd had.
Chris looked down the hall to your door, staring at the frame like he could speak to you through it telepathically. Knowing that he was no Professor Xavier, he opted for getting up and asking you. He knocked softly on your door, worried etched on his thin eyebrows. “Hey, Y/n, we have pizza, would you like some?” He stepped back a little and waited for your response and to give you room just in case you came out.
“Be right out.” It was like he said the magic words, you rushed out. You had your hair tied in a loose bun and one of your worn out tee-shirts that had one or two bleach stains on it and it didn't match your oversized sweats either. It was one of those lazy days for you. It was a random holiday, which meant catching up on shows in your room and hiding under the covers. You had a snack drawer and a mini fridge, so there was really no need to leave unless you needed to pee.
You bolted past Chris, not even bothering to thank him for asking if you wanted food. He followed closely behind, taking the seat he was previously occupying as you sat on the chair to the side of the coffee table. Both the guys looked a little shocked at your appearance due to the fact that the Y/n they knew was probably the most pulled together person they had ever met, at least that's what they thought.
Neither of them felt ballsy enough to ask what happened, so they both left it alone, preferring to ask about your day instead. You told them why you were home in the middle of the workday and since you were all calling it a weekend, Changbin suggested that you drink in celebration of no work again until Monday. You unsurprisingly all agreed to at least take shots. Now that all of your proverbial top buttons were loose, you started to speak freely asking things that had been on your chests.
“So when did you two start dating?” The room went silent at your question, both of them looking at you with confused looks on their faces.
“Dating who?” Chris asked before taking another swig of his juice, he'd tapped out after two shots of soju, already feeling the buzz.
“Each other?!” You said with a laugh, looking incredulously at them both. But neither of them responded in the way you thought they would. Changbin continued to look confused as Chris spit out the juice he had just ingested.
“What?!?” He wiped his mouth, his shock apparent.
Now it was your turn to be confused. “I thought you two were you know…. partners.” You made a gesture to indicate you meant ‘sexual’ partners. Changbin laughed loudly as his friend tried his best to clean up the mess he just made.
“Business partners, Y/n. Business partners. The gym we work for.. we own it together. I can understand the confusion between the two, but I'm straight and so is Changbin… most of the time-"
“Hey! That was onc- twice, okay maybe a few different times, and that first time he kissed me first. I can't help that he was a good kisser… Plus sometimes one thing leads to another an- Why am I even explaining this?” Changbin chimed in, completely flabbergasted that his friend outed him like that.
“I like girls, Y/n. I just don't bring them home because-”
“Because he's a loner who is hell bent on being perpetually alone.” Changbin interrupted, but Chris didn't correct him. His petty attempt at an eye for an eye.
“Yeah. Honestly, same here.” You shrugged. You sure it wasn't for the same reasons. Chris was gorgeous with an Aussie accent and a six pack, who wouldn't at least want to try?
“I wouldn't say that. It's just that it's easier to stay clear headed when I'm not bogged down by a relationship. You know how I get when I'm in a relationship. It's her or nothing and I just don't need that right now with us trying to build our fitness empire. That- and I'm respectful and don't want to bring people into our home..” He nodded, finally satisfied with the cleaning job he had done. It was like he’d never wasted a drop of that sugary sweet liquid.
“So all this time…” They both nodded.
“I mean, if you want me to prove it, I can. I like a little bit of everything. I don't discriminate.” Chandbin boldly admitted, standing back up off the couch and making his way to where your chair sat.
You chuckled nervously, exactly how was he going to prove it? Show you videos of him fucking women? “Prove it…how?”
“I'm going to kiss you, is that okay?” It took you a moment to respond. You nodded, opening your mouth to speak only to have lips molded against yours. You were taken back initially, but quickly adjusted. It wasn't as if you weren't attracted to that fine ass man, you just thought he and his partner were lovers. Color you shocked to find that they weren't.
“Hey, hey, hey- now you know I told you I liked her.” Changbin was snatched back by Chris. The former had a wide smile on his face as he wiped his lips.
“Well clearly she thought you and I were dating, so… you weren't doing a good job of showing your feelings.” Chris shrugged off his friends' words, lips curling Into a smile, showing off his cute dimples; one more defined than the other.
“Well I hope I have a chance now.” Your roommates thin, knobby fingers reach out to caress the side of your cheeks. “I wanted to know if you'd like to get to know each other as….” Changbin laughed in the background.
Changbin stood back and watched with his thick arms crossed over his chest. All he needed was a moment to recognize his friend was doing it all wrong. He kissed his teeth, “Is that how you pick up girls? No wonder you're single.”
You were stuck on what to do or say, you just looked between the two friends. “Christopher Chan, I expected more out of you. You aren't usually this.. Shy.” Chan looked apprehensive before following his friend's lead. He gently grabbed your hand and helped you up, pulling your body close to his. His hand naturally rested right above your butt, but he was trying his best at being a gentleman and not letting it roam further down.
“I hope you don't mind-"
Changbin was growing impatient at the side, “Just ask to kiss her already.” He huffed out.
His brows raised as he asked permission with his eyes. “I'm down. I've been wondering what those lips of yours felt like since the first day we met.” Your words were all it took for Chris to press his lips to yours in a sensual kiss that nearly took your breath away. Those lips of his were killer to look at, you don't know why you didn’t think they would kill you if he kissed you. Your eyes fluttered closed, hands itching to pull him closer.
“This is nice and all, but something is missing..” Changbin’s words were nearly a whisper as he stepped closer. “I feel like I'm missing out here. No one likes being the third wheel.” Chris quickly pulled away from the kiss, leaving you in a daze.
“What are you trying to say, Changbin?” Chris asked, slightly annoyed by his friend interrupting a very needed kiss.
A sly smirk spread on the other boy's face, “They say two is a pair, but three is a party. And…” He leaned in towards you, his lips just inches from your ear as he spoke. “Since this was a celebration… let's make it a party.”
You gulped, thighs pinching together to help stifle the want that was starting to build in your core. “What do you say, Y/n? Are you down?” Changbin didn't even bother asking Christopher, more than likely knowing his answer already. They had been friends for years, they could probably communicate telepathically at this point.
“Why do I get the feeling you two do this often?” You asked, you were apprehensive about the whole thing. Because what happens after you fuck your roommate and his friend? Do you lose a roommate? Or does this become some freeuse fantasy? Which to be honest, didn't sound like such a bad idea.
Changbin chuckled, “Once in college, maybe?” He looked at Chris for confirmation.
“Not at all. That was you and one of your other friends. I don't like to share.” He moved Changbin to the side even more, successfully moving him away.
“You can't blame me for wanting to shoot my shot. You see what she looks like.” A cute pout formed on Changbin’s lips and you couldn't help the giggle that passed your lips as he got closer to you, begging you with his eyes.
“Imagine how I feel living with her? You only get glimpses every now and then when I… get to see her half naked when she comes out the shower… or bent over the counter in her too short nightgown that barely covers that fat ass of hers.” Changbin nibbled on your ear.
“Thought you said you liked her for her personality?" Changbin smirked, still feeling a bit petty about Chris outing him.
“I-I do. She has a wonderful personality.” Chris tried to defend himself, but ended up not sounding truthfully or confident about it.
“And ass, thighs, and tits. Yeah, we both know she's the full package. So stop fucking around with your feelings and lets figure out if we can make something work here.” Though Chris seemed to object to the initial thought, the only current thoughts running through his mind was hearing your scream his name in ecstasy after having your plump lips wrapped around his cock. You were still in shock that all of this was happening in front of you. So not only were they not together, they both wanted you. Talk about living the Y/n fantasy.
“Are you guys going to argue about who likes me more or are we going to do this?” The thoughts of fucking them both had long ago started playing in your mind. You were more than ready to take them on.
The look of lust was apparent in both of the guys' eyes. You looked from on to the other, weighing your options. How many times would two fine ass dudes proposition you for sex? Threesomes were rare due to feelings possibly being involved but with Chris’s lips on your neck, trailing kisses downward and the apparent bulge that you could feel on your thigh from Changbin, you couldn't- you wouldn't turn this down.
Without a word you grabbed Chris’s face pressing your lips to his. “I'll take that as a yes to my- well our proposition.” Changbin said, taking his place behind you after scooting the big living chair back as if it were nothing. Chris's warm hands traveled under your shirt as Changbin worked on unknotting the string to your sweats, he almost opted for ripping them when he got a little impatient.
But he settled on doing it carefully since he didn't know your attachments to the garment. You kissed the boy feverishly before your lips were once again torn apart. It didn't bother you much since his mouth was replaced by the others as Changbin molded his lips to yours once again.
It took them a while to get undressed- they both wanted to savor the sight of getting you out of those ridiculous sweats and strippig down to the nude. Both of their fantasies were fully realized, finally being able to see you completely naked. They were true best friends who talked about whatever was on their minds and you were a constant topic for discussion. One admires you more for your brain and the intellectual and cultured conversations you had about life, and the other for your body and how it dipped and curved just the way he liked.
They both found common ground in wanting to fuck you until you were screaming for them to stop. Neither thought this was how it would all go down, but neither was complaining. Chris took the first steps in getting things done by helping you onto the couch and bending you over.
You faced the armrest where Changbin stood with his dick in hand, pumping it to get it harder. You didn't even see the man get undressed, your mind was so hazy. It wasn't from the liquor, since you in fact didn't drink that much and your tolerance was pretty damn high since you were an ex party girl. No, your mind was hazy from the lust that was so thick in the room it could peel the paint right off the walls.
Chris took in the full glorious view of your ass that he couldn't help but smack given that he had the opportunity. You yelped as his big hand came in contact with your bare skin, which amused the shit out of him for some reason. He rubbed the spot to soothe the ache, just to smack it again, relishing in the jiggle.
You took Changbin’s semi erect cock into your mouth as Chris got behind you on the couch. Chris parted your legs a little, letting his fingers trace up from your thighs to your womanhood, the tips moving over your folds making you shudder. He dipped down and pressed kisses to your ass right over the slight imprint his hand had left behind and then down to the backs of your thighs.
He drug his tongue back up before slowly moving towards your vagina. He situated himself so he wouldn't be uncomfortable, then pressed his thumb to your clit as he nipped at the skin of your thigh. His actions caused her to twitch from the sudden action and moan around Changbin’s member, much to his delight.
“Damn your mouth is so warm..” Changbin moaned, fingers tangling themselves into your bun, head tilting back as you picked up your pace.
Chris began to rub slow circles on your bud as he continued to leave tiny ant bites on your skin. He was itching to taste you, he had been since the first time he heard you sweet moans one late night when you thought he was asleep. He plunged his tongue into her wet hole, finally getting to taste your nectar like he had wanted to over the last few months.
You pulled away from Changbin to let out a wanton moan that bounced off the brick walls of your tiny apartment. Chris’s free hand grabbed one of your ass cheeks to spread it wider and give him more access, his nails digging into your skin. You tried to keep the motions of your hand that was still around Changbin’s cock pumping slowly, but with Chris eating you out as if you were the most delicious meal he had ever eaten, it was hard to stay focused.
“Fuck… Chris.. that feels so goo-” the words died on your tongue and Changbin stuck his thumb in your mouth swiping it over your tongue.
Chris’s tongue replaces his fingers in your clit and in exchange his now idle fingers move to fill up your needy cunt. Changbin was feeling antsy, his need building up as well as his jealousy. He wanted to make you moan like Chris was. He wanted his name to fall off your lips over and over again.
“Holy shit right there baby… ” Hearing you say that was the final straw for Changbin. He pulled your hand away, making you look up at him in confusion.
“Let me fuck you.” He looked towards Chris, “Switch with me now.” His words were forceful as he made his way towards the couch. Chris obliged, happy that he got to taste you while he could. He pulled his fingers from your cunt and waited until he got right in front of you before licking your wetness off each digit ever so slowly.
You bit down on your bottom lip as you watched him, your half lidded eyes filled with lust for the man. He leaned down to kiss your lips, letting you taste whatever remnants or left. Changbin felt like the third wheel, when he wanted to be the star of the show. His Leo pride was taking a hit watching everything that was unfolding right before his eyes.
“You taste so fucking good, baby..” Chris spoke quietly to you, as if you were the only two in the room.
“Probably not as good as you, Mr. Pineapple juice. But let me taste how I taste on your lips.” You stuck your tongue out for him to spit on it. That was your invitation.
Changbin watched from behind with envy on his face as he pumped his cock. After getting it wet and having enough of the show in front of him, he settled behind you, his cock teasing your entrance. He waited until your lips met before he slid his length inside of your wet cavern, causing you to gasp and grip onto the nearest thing you could find; Chris’s hip. You looked up at him as Changbin's thick cock pushed past your entrance and into your tight cunt.
“Is he filling you up, baby?” Chris grabbed your face, keeping your focus on him. He kissed your forehead as if to ease the tension you felt from being stretched out by Changbin’s thickness. “Is he stretching you out for me, baby?” You nodded, biting down on your bottom lip to keep yourself centered.
Changbin smirked to himself. He felt accomplished, he'd successfully ripped your attention away from your roommate, even if it was for just a few seconds. Stretching out your cunt meant that he had the upper hand. It meant that once he really started fucking you, your attention would be on him where it needed to be, not on Chris.
Changbin's actions didn't go unnoticed. Chris saw and knew everything that was going on with his friend. He wasn't normally a super competitive person, he knew when to hold and when to fold, but something in him didn't want to lose today. He stood back up straight and grabbed his member and your chin with his other hand. He took the tip of his dick and teasingly traced your parted lips with it. “You've been a good girl, baby. Are you ready for a treat, pretty girl?” His words lit a fire in you.
This man could melt the sun with the amount of sex appeal he possessed. That Aussie accent added to his already insurmountable amount of charm the man already possessed. And truthfully anything that fell past those lips of his could sound like a sin. You moaned and nodded your head, your lips parting even more to take him into your mouth.
Jealousy spurred Changbin’s next move.  He snapped his hips into you hard then swiveled his hips around. You lunged forward taking most of Chris’s cock in your mouth, thankful that you had a no teeth policy and had already covered them with your lips. You gagged, causing your walls to squeeze Changbin’s dick that was now buried deep inside of you.
His fingers gripped your hips, pulling you closer as he pulled back and did it again. Your grip around Chris’s base tightened along with the grip you now had on the arm rest. Changbin wasn't going to stop his hard deep thrusts until you screamed his name or better yet- came around his cock. Nothing said winning like making a girl cum hard for you.
“Shes so fucking tight…” Changbin muttered through grit teeth. He trained his eyes on where your bodies connected, how your walls didn't want to let him go or how wet you were, staining his cock with your juices. He almost forgot about the other person in the room and how he was pulling your attention from the man that was pleasing you right now.
You were conflicted. The guy you were originally attracted to was right in front of you with his dick in your mouth, while the guy who was undoubtedly a strapping gentleman was fucking you like a madman. This was what dreams were made of and if you were sleeping you didn't want to wake up. You were pulled from your thoughts when Changbin smacked your ass particularly hard- hard enough to leave a nice red handprint on your skin, right over the one Chris had given you that was now starting to fade.
“That's it baby, take all of that cock.” Changbin tiled his head back as the words flowed effortlessly from his lips.
You moaned around Chris’s dick, your eyes darting up to look at him. All he could do was chuckle lightly as he caressed your cheek before he grabbed the back of your head to still its motion. Chris used your mouth, thrusting into it.
“Stick that tongue out for me, princess-”
“Moan for me, beautiful.” The boys briefly made eye contact, their competition coming to a head. According to Changbin, Chris was ahead by a few points, but he was still desperate to win. You couldn't do both at the same time, but when Changbin pressed down on your back, arching it down towards the couch, his member grazing your spot, you almost screamed.
Pulling away from Chris you moaned so loud it almost echoed off the high ceilings as your first orgasm hit like a wave crashing to shore. “Changbin… shit…” A triumphant smile was thrown Chris’s way and a scoff was returned.
“Switch.” Chris said almost too loud given the fact that you had neighbors.
Changbin’s hips slow to stop before he pulled out of your pulsing cunt. Your body fell to the couch and shook beneath him as the support you had from either man was now gone as they switched positions. But not before Changbin smacked your sensitive click with his damp cock.
Chris gave you little time to recuperate, laying you on your back and pulling you by the legs to the end of the couch where he stood. He let your butt settle on the armrest and one leg on the back of the couch and the other on his shoulder. He put a few throw pillows under your head to make sure you were comfortable.
“Now you're just being selfish.” Changbin spoke under his breath as he tried to figure out just where he was going to fit into this puzzle.
Chris chuckled, not sparing his friend a glance As he took you in. You looked beautiful all fucked out, spread wide on the couch for him. Plus, Changbin did a wonderful job of stretching your little hole just enough for him. He was glad his friend put in all the ground words, now it was time to show you what true pleasure felt like. He pressed his cock to your hole, just using his thumb. He slipped, the back of his cock rubbing deliciously against your clit, making your leg twitch. He took pride in your reaction, doing it again before sliding his cock into your cunt, making your eye and his roll back.
After a few moments of contemplation, Changbin pulled the cushion from the chair and threw it on the floor so he could kneel on. You were already a moaning mess now that nothing was in your mouth to block the sound. Changbin  absent-mindedly watched as your breasts bounced. You reached out for him, your fingers curling around his erect member. You began to stroke him, his eyes finally focusing on yours.
“Look at you, you're taking the both of us so well.” Changbin cooed as he put his hand on yours to guide it.
Christ had silently determined that he was going to be the last person to fuck you tonight, he didn't give two shits what Changbin had to say about it. Relishing in the fact that your wet, tight cunt was wrapped around his cock, practically pulling him in. He rubbed your clit to give you extra pleasure. His strokes were different from Changbin’s but he still felt just as good in your opinion. His slow strokes filled you up as his index and thumb pinched at your clit.
The sudden action sends electricity through your body, making your back arch even more for him. His strokes made you long for his cock, long for a faster speed. You wanted and needed to cum and he was doing everything in his power to help you right over the edge, while keeping you suspended in this state of ecstasy. Every nerve ending of yours was on fire. You were squirming under the man whose long strokes were leaving you speechless.
“Fucking look at you, baby. You're so good to us.” Chris mumbled against your ankle where he was pressing kisses. Something about the way he looked standing over you like this made your body tingle. His fingers alternated between pinching, flicking and rubbing your clit. But when he tilted his hips a little and hit your spot, sparks flew. His head tilted back and your back arched.
“Fuck..Chris.. Right there.please don't stop.” Now he knew what spot to hit and he wasn't going to stop until you came for him. Over and over, he pushed his cock up to hit it until you came undone around him. Now, he was normally known for his crazy amount of stamina, but he was close and needed his release, your pussy almost too good for him to take.
“You gotta let me put it back in her mouth before I cum-” Changbin grunted out. He was sad he wasn't able to hold out long enough to fuck your pussy again, and he wished he was finally getting his chance to shine again. But sadly his incoming orgasm was knocking and he needed to answer.
“Alright.” Chris smiled at you who looked as if you almost couldn't take anymore. “Just a little while longer. “ He spoke softly to you as he helped you sit up. He took a seat on the couch and patted his lap for you to sit. Changbin helped you over, where you took your on Chris’s lap, your back facing him.
Chris waited for you to get situated before his cock was once again back in your warmth. His hands on your hips guided you up and down his cock. You wouldn't normally say you were known for your leg strength, but you were experiencing a lot of new things today. Moans and groans as well as the sounds of sucking and skin slapping filled the apartment. You gripped Changbin’s balls as your head bobbed, your hand fervently twisting at the base of his cock to get him off. His head was tilted back as he looked up at the beams across the ceilings. Your mouth was so warm and wet and you were damn good at using it, he thought.
He made note that he'd have to ask for a blow job every now and then, he would return the favor of course. He was close and you moaning around his member as you played with his balls didn't help. He gripped the loose bun on top of your head and pulled you close as he released. Damn how he wanted to fuck you again, but damn if it wasn't too good.
You gagged but tried your best to keep breathing out of your nose. He pulled back, watching his cum drip from the side of your mouth. He was satisfied with his work even if he didn't get to do his usual grandstanding.
“God you're filthy… and I love it.” He smeared the dribbles of cum around your mouth over your lips like it was lips gloss. His soft cock twitched with excitement, just thinking of the prospect for doing this with you again. He hoped he'd get the chance.
Chris was glad Changbin had finished, now he had you all to himself. Without warning he laid you down on your side. He continued to thrust into you as he peppered kisses over your shoulder and neck. “I love how you feel around my cock, baby.” He whispered in your ear, your eyes rolling back at how sexy his raspy accented voice sounded. “Who knew you were such a naughty girl, letting two guys fuck you like this.” His hand snaked around your waist and down between your legs. His fingers lazily played with your sensitive clit, “You like it don't you? You like being spread wide while one of us fucks you and the other fills your mouth with his cock.” Even Changbin had never seen his friend of eight years like this.
As if you couldn't be more turned on, his words pushed you right over the edge. Liked was an understatement, you loved it and you wanted it to happen again, soon. “Yes, Chris-” your words got caught in her throat as her body convulsed. It only took Chris a few more thrusts into your contracting cunt before he pulled out and spread his seed between your thighs, even getting some on your pussy.
The three of you sat silently, you were almost on the verge of falling asleep. “Maybe next time we can try something a little different.” Chris broke the silence.
“Next… time?” Changbin’s brow rose at his friend.
“Yeah, next time.” His lips curled up into a smile. “If Y/n is down that is… I can show her a few tricks I've learned.” His words intrigued her even in her half asleep state.
“If she's down, you know I am.” Changbin shrugged as he sat his bare ass on the coffee table.
And that's how it began. The three of you often had little “parties”, even after you and Chris started dating. Knowing he had won that night gave Chris more than enough confidence to ask you on a date. And after his performance you couldn't say no.
