(i made these back in Dec 2023 but forgot to post them. but i still like them so here they go)

anyway these are character sketches/concepts for a fic As the incense burns, which is basically Misadventures of PIDW late-game Mu Qingfang

((pardon the scrap paper, most of them were just side doodles from next to my notes lol))

these are silly goofy doodles which do not correlate with the overall vibe of the fic (with some exceptions) but i am not making fun of the fic dont worry the author gave me explicit permission to make these :) (lol)

something that rlly annoys me is shannon being both aware of the fate of the "tech guy" character and then proceeding to do exactly that to dex lmao. like he LITERALLY says he doesn't want to be a technopath because he's going to be excluded from the action. how he's afraid he'll only be relevant when he's useful. and then!! thats exactly what happens in the plot!!

#tbh the whole “only relevant when useful” thing seems to be happening to a lot of characters #thats what happens when u just pull out a random characters and give them whatever ability the plot calls for #wayy too many characters and no development for any of them #but its especially criminal for her to have that be a insecurity of dex's and then have it happen exactly #dex diznee #kotlc #keeper of the lost cities
