Duckling goes 2D – big yellow duckling

Little game, where duckling runs across the field. It has a side view. And he needs to jump over the obstacles. Little ducklings and pillars. You need to help him with this. And, in certain time, to press space. And duckling can to jump over the obstacles.

Game is about summer. Game is about countryside. And about duckling. About good mood. One more game about good and kind animals. Little animals are doing lots of their things. They run and jump, for example. As duckling!

And, sometimes, it is so fun – that, even, in night duckling can run! At night, you can see, only, main features of the objects. And, world, looks like, something another and so new. Not the way it was during the day. Night changes everything. And, all the same places – it is a new places for now. It is so interesting for a duckling, that he can to run a little in the night, with a joy and fun. Jump. And wave with little wings!

So, there are here 12 locations. In every location there are 3 levels. Locations are different with background. And ground colors. Game is made with screen 7. And, here, again, 16 colors for selection and screen 320 x 200. By the way, at level 2 colors - goes for background and 2 colors - for ground, which you run. So, this means, that game levels are colorful.

And, there is here a difference between day and night locations. 6 locations - it is day. And 6 locations – it is night. Night - it is same locations as day. But, they look like a shapes, silhouettes. They drawn as a box and not box fill. They do not fill with colors. Such a silhouettes. New visual. They look difference. Interesting retro effect.

About interesting – here levels have some slope. And, it generates during gameplay. Straight line, slope, more slope. And, two types of obstacles – pillars and ducklings. Game is with different angle slope for surface.

All you need to do here – it is to push with space during gameplay. When obstacle is going to you. Your big and yellow duckling stands at the left. And, something like, he runs. But, at the screen he stands. And, simply, when obstacle is going near to you – press space!

All locations are available from the start. And, they are in a form of a select menu. So, everything is drawn with different colors. So, selection – it is a squares, that are filled with colors. With this colors location is made. 3 colors for sky and 3 colors for surface.

By the way, at the level are in use 2 colors out of three. Field has something like its own landscape. And day and night too. And you - with arrows select, where you will have a run! So, before your eyes - there is something like a field map!

at first, he was opposed to the idea when you offered to style his hair with the small clips. but after seeing you smile so brightly, how could he ever refuse? with a defeated sigh, he merely nodded, instantly getting dragged to the nearby chair.

as soon as he sat down, he could feel your fingers comb through his hair. it was soothing, but of course he wouldn't admit it. his ego was too high for that! so he resorted to letting out a quiet sigh, before a small clip! was heard.

not long after, the tiny sounds multiplied, accompanied with small chuckles from you. he knew he looked silly, but at least you're the only one who's going to see him look like this. "are you done yet?"

"just a bit more!" he could hear your smile even if he wasn't facing you at all. suddenly, he saw you walk in front of him with a smile brighter than the sun itself, feeling proud of the work you just finished.

you handed him a mirror, and his hunch was true—he did look silly. however, he couldn't help but let a soft smile paint his face as he looked up to meet your gaze, the sides of your eyes crinkling in delight.

the pure joy and love emitted from your being was worth it. now, he didn't care how ridiculous he looked, he was just happy that you're having a great time making him look silly.

what's your opinion on moonkitti's video?

It's a good video and an excellent analysis for anyone who prefers to get their essays as videos over text.

Though I do have to mention, she did miss a couple of things. I don't blame her at ALL though, like she said, discussing Bumble is a rabbithole and you will find yourself tackling several chronic problems whenever you try to explain exactly how fucked up the entire situation is. Nevertheless, discussing Bumble is my specialty so I have to point out;

Moonkitti makes the mistake of accepting Clear Sky's premise that the territory he kills Bumble on is his. It is not.

Bumble was actually not trespassing-- Clear Sky slaughtered Misty because he is expanding his borders and wanted to steal her land.

The parcel Bumble was standing on is, in Clear Sky's own words, "This NEW part of MY territory."

As a result, I think Moon missed another chronic issue present in the DOTC narrative; Colonialism.

Also-- I know Moon is trying not to swing TOO hard at Gray Wing because his fans are downright bloodthirsty (and I'm sure she is reluctant to go through Bramblestan Harassment 2), but, as a result...

She kinda glosses over the fact that Gray Wing's turn on Bumble does make sense if you read it like he's doing it because he HATES the idea of his object of affection having friends who are not him.

In other words-- Gray Wing is controlling. Xenophobia against Bumble didn't "come from nowhere." It came up because he is toxic and it is a good self-justification for his feelings.

She also quickly summarizes a lot of the Tom the Wifebeater stuff... and ends up implying that Tom just found the kittens all on his own, when Gray Wing actually told him where to find the children.

This was technically an "accident" because Gray Wing is both cruel AND stupid.

I hate him so much Gray Wing SUCKSSSS

But again, I can't blame her for it because clearly she wasn't trying to get into the utterly shambolic mess that is the "Tom the Wifebeater Sleeper Genes" subplot.

yknow. The subplot where the kids decide the man who raised them isnt their real dad because the wifebeater boinked their mom before he started beating her and eventually got her killed.

dotc is a wonferful arc adn the best in the whole sries. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee

That all said! Moonkitti didn't miss. She thoroughly gutted Clear Sky's lie and covers most of what's especially rancid about Bumble's treatment. I especially love the sentiment she had in pointing out, "Bumble hated no one; and everyone hated her."

It's a great video, she's been working on it for weeks and it shows. This is yet another victory for the BUMBLE BATTALION. Soon we will invade England and take Harper Collins by force

You know what I think would be fun? The Ennead in Legend of Zelda. 

Giant nine-headed dragon who might have maybe decided to go on a vacation in a random dimension. Y’know, one where they don’t have to worry about the GIW or summonings or accidentally starting cults or well, anything really. 

Or at least that was what they were hoping for. Oh sure, not a lot of things so much as approach them but there’s this tiny elf-looking child with a sword. And like, they’re not going to hurt a child who can’t even do much more than scratch their scales, y’know? 

Meanwhile from literally everyone else’s point of view, there was a massive comet, meteor, etc that fell to the lands, and suddenly there’s this massive multi-headed star beast wandering the skies like some sort of cosmic spirit unable to return to the place it came from. And they say as much to the hero.
