my personal favorite pens and pencils

sakura pigma micron 08, 0.5mm — uniform line, waterproof, quick drying, medium juicy, dark ink, good for writing addresses on letters and messages on the backs of business cards in packages

sakura pigma professional brush pen, fine — precise yet springy tiny pointy tip, waterproof ink. good for drawing and for writing names on letters fancily. lifts a little when erased over alas but everything else is good

gold pilot metropolitan fountain pen, fine, converter installed / clear pilot kakuno, fine, brass kaweco clip installed — cheap precise fountain pens that i keep banging around in travel or letting dry out and they are A-OK. nice for fancy-feeling list making or journaling. fun for drawing but don't let your sketchbook get wet. I can't remember what ink I have in the metropolitan but the kakuno has green cartridges

pentel energel infree 0.5mm turquoise — just a pleasantly juicy gel pen

pentel twist-erase pencil 0.5mm — vintage style and big ol' replacable eraser. hard to break

pilot color eno erasable mechanical pencil in sky blue — just fun to have as an undersketch option

pentel vistage water brush, fine — mvp. ride or die. if you're doing a watercolor painting on location that's about five by five inches this is your girl

#I'm currently planning to try a different white ink pen than my usual white gel pen. so that's a Maybe #also i used to have a brush pen that was like a waterbrush filled with slightly diluted black ink and i cannot find the same again #no other high capacity brush pen has yet compared #honestly i would happily get like another four kakunos just to try to take more fountain pen inks out sketching.#i also like a generic brand pink highlighter for sketching sculptures. i lost it the other week and missed it

Yeah!!#And look at the bottoms of those shoes!!!!!! Improving!!!!! Genuinely probably the best I've done so far ahh yaay #It does feel a bit funny to have Papyrus' outfit as kind of a mish-mash of various design elements lol #It's his Battle Body but there's the black-clothed spine from my design but bare arms and legs from Handplates #I dunno I just work here lol #Sans is pretty much on-model at least - Sans no you'll get butter on your gloves!#He's very happy to be here as you can see lol #''be more excited you got a gift from the best skeleton in the underground and above it''#Papyrus just trying to have the most fun :') His enthusiasm makes up for everyone else's - right? Has to #Gaster's being passive - bracelet of yellow flowers huh hmmm - but he's not fighting or leaving! Every little drop of progress #His little kneel under Papyrus' open lap is so cuuuute wahhh <3 <3 Soft interactions! Gentle touch!#Not confining or even all that purposeful just casual pleasant contact hh <3 #Quite happy with the patch of grass as well hehe I think it follows the composition curve nicely ♪#Really in love with my grass brush can you tell lol but I also used my waterbrush! #em draws stuff #robin hood #banditry #the real life one is SO bright colors it hurts my eyes a little. and I did Not like it.#I am still getting used to the sakura waterbrush... I Love it and it's so superbly portable but it's hard to mix colors with it #so the background is PURE SATURATION PRUSSIAN BLUE and it is not fantastique on the eyeballs #Also I Haven't Watercoloured In Over A Year. so yeah anyway here's an outlaw.

it really is a thing of beauty; I'm so glad I already had enough paint to fill it

#I could naaawt have afforded to also buy all the paints to fill this but giving it empty would have been a bummer #I have a pocket palette exactly like this #and bro has expressed that portability has been a barrier for him getting into watercoloring like he planned #and that maybe something like mine would be better than having to pack out tubes of paint etc all the time #SO!! pocket palette for me brother! pocket cotton watercolor sketchbook! waterbrush! book on sketchin!!#that swatch card also has the brands n names of each color on the back with smaller swatches by each name #I don't Love water brushes myself but they ARE more handy in a pinch than water in a cup #that said I know he HAS brushes and I know I can also recommend cheap but decent travel brushes if he wants to go that route #... oh btw the thing about the paints that are almost entirely covered by the lip of the card holder lmao #this thing's magnetic! you can slide em around to access them more easily #personallyyyy those are the colors I use the least; the trays were originally empty in mine n only there to fill space #but I figured like.... they could also... have paint in em. seems silly not to frankly if there's pans in there either way ¯\_(ツ)_/¯#about me

I remember the noise sounded something like a whale song. Almost mournful, with a pitch that cut through me to my very core. My feet had shuffled forward on their own accord, and before I realized it, I was precariously peering over the edge of the cliff face.

The 3rd day had a small but nice waterbrush behind the door. And after I finally took the time to watch #ahauntinginvenice yesterday, the good old #herculepoirot ended up on my paper :) I roughly based the shape and haircut on Albert Finney, but added my own touch.
