Ah, Wakaba.

Kimi has complicated feelings about Wakaba that she tries not to let show.

First impression was essentially "holy shit pretty lady" bi panic. She did a less good job of hiding that, but she doesn't make it weird. Just slightly flustered on occasion.

The other things, she hides much better. Namely that Wakaba intimidates the hell out of her and makes her feel very inadequate. It's nothing Wakaba does, and is entirely a Kimi issue, but it's there.

Kimi doesn't think well of herself. So she's constantly comparing, and measuring herself short. She's not at pretty, not as smart, not as strong or funny or- and true or not, those thoughts don't leave her. Things got even worse once she found out Wakaba is Daigo's ex. She doesn't hold it against either of them, or even really feel threatened, but she does often question "then why are you with me?". She just doesn't feel like she's good enough.

All of which probably makes it sound like she doesn't really like Wakaba. Not at all true! She adores Wakaba and greatly enjoys spending time with her when she can. She isn't quite bold or confident enough to think herself Wakaba's friend, but likes to imagine she's passably acceptable company. Be it shopping or brunch or whatever casual "girls day out", she's always happy to hang out.

All this to say, Kimi has complicated but positive feelings about Wakaba, and a ton of issues she needs therapy for lmao.

I'd really like to eventually ponder over the Kimi and Kyrie dynamic too, as while Kimi is frequently highly irritated with Kiryu, she absolutely adores Haruka. The idea of helping her plan her wedding makes me giddy lol.

I also like the idea of Kimi asking Wakaba to teach her to dance and it going hilariously bad. Kimi has good rhythm but her balance is trash and she can be very uncoordinated. She has fun tho. Just the general thought of Wakaba helping coax timid little Kimi out of her shell now and then makes me happy.
