I don't wanna ramble, but basically I interpret it as Canary looking back on her relationships (with her father, Graves, John, 141, etc.) and everything she's been through. She's been through so much, and while she is a victim of Makarov (+ Graves, etc.), she isn't (to quote the song) just some tragic victim

And later/towards the end of the song, there's these parts:

And idk, I think that's Canary at this point in the story.

She's struggling, but she'll burn everyone who slighted her to the ground and there'll be no one left to rise from the ashes.

like i picture all of the men in her life being different sides of the same coin. graves tries to be and is so much like her father, her father is so similar to makarov only his abuse of her was more emotional/mental than physical, had price made a few worse decisions in his life he could've easily been just as cruel as makarov. and she sees that, she knows that, and it's part of why she's hesitant to really go back to price because she saw some of that cruelty directed at her in a time where she really needed him. it could be so easy for her esp during her recovery to picture makarov or graves when she looks at like price or alex or ghost.

i think you're right, those lyrics are really fitting for canary esp rn because she is feeling alone and she knows she's never going to be able to be that same woman she was with the 141. she doesn't get to ignore the gang, graves, the loss of her estate and play pretend anymore, and she doesn't necessarily want to either. of course, she'll always be sad that she won't have that "easier" life and she'll mourn what could have been, but she knows she needs to move forward and ready to do that regardless of everything else and nothing and no one will be able to stand in her way.

Full Disclaimer, I'm going completely in the thumb tacks and string here going off of crumbs I've found that are either posted by Gooseworx herself, or by Glitch Productions. The 2 primary people behind the Digital Circus production. While I'd be honored if any of them see this, everyone is welcome to take what I'm about to say with as many grains of salt as they so choose.

that said, let's get into it.

I want to start off with what we know, which is episode 2. Now, episode 2 was centered not only around Pomni, but Gumigoo as well. we not only got to see an NPC gain sentience and immediately go into a depressive slump about it, but we also got heavy hints that Pomni is very familiar with feelings of sadness and depression. the fandom has been so caught up with gumigoo dying that I've seen literally NO ONE talk about this. I'm gonna directly quote Pomni from the second episode here "I think I know the feeling. well, uh. feeling like you're nothing, is kinda normal". no one really talks about this, but that implies a lot about Pomni, and what her mental state was like even before the circus. but feeling like you're nothing isn't normal, it's a symptom of depression. Now, I could rant on and on about my own guesses on Pomni's mental state regarding depression, how she deals with it, and how aggressively overlooked it was with everyone being like "omg gumigoo!" "NOOOO" "Caine you bastard" "Bring him back he did nothing wrong". but that's a rant for a different post. and I'm not saying gumigoo's death wasn't sad or tragic, but I am saying it was only part of the bigger picture. But I'm getting off topic, the point is that the theme of the episode was depression, and that theme was prevalent in both Pomni's and Gumigoo's character arcs through the second episode. what's interesting is that Goose chose the word to describe this episode, "boy".

of all the words on that list, "boy" and "haha!" seem the lightest. which would almost suggest that episodes 2 and 5 are going to be the most lighthearted, or at least, the easiest episodes to really take in. so to all the people who cried at episode 2, strap in, the feels are only going to get worse and more intense from here. (looking at you episodes 4 & 6)

now, taking a step away from episode 2 and plunging into the depths of speculation, I think that episode 3 is going to be the fast food adventure with the Orbsman NPC. I have a basic idea of how this adventure will go, but it's very broad and also likely incorrect. my current theory is that the circus crew will somehow find themselves having to run a digital version of McDonalds called "Spudsy's" with Orbsman being the quest-giver/manager/owner who puts the entire circus crew to work. however that's kinda where the working theory ends right now, as we don't really know a whole lot about Zooble and Kinger. both of them had very little screen time in both episodes 1 and 2, especially Zooble, who got carried off by gloinks after the tour in episode 1, and didn't participate in episode 2's adventure because they were prepping Kaufmo's funeral. Kinger, when he does get screentime, seems to be a sort of comedic relief. many scenes portray him as a wacky, silly, spontaneous and sometimes dissociative guy, outside of that one scene with Ragatha in episode 2 where we get to see a more caring and empathetic side of Kinger. outside of that one scene though, we don't really have a whole lot of information on their characters. the fact that they'll both be touched on in the next episode could mean that they have similar coping mechanisms, or Gooseworx's plans for episodes 7-9 are simply so grand that Zooble and Kinger have to share an episode to make room for more angst. who knows. now, the word Goose used to describe this episode was "damn" so chances are good that this episode will be pretty heavy, or showcase a deep or flawed coping system or mechanism that Kinger and Zooble might share.

episode 4 is an episode I'm also hyped for. it's gangle-centric, and if I have to guess, it'll likely be the ghost adventure. The only reason I say that is because it wouldn't surprise me if Goose made a very broad Phantom of the Opera reference in her show at all. Gangle's design is off of the Tragedy-Comedy mask, which is a classic sign of theater. and with the design of Gangle's room also taken into consideration, it just makes sense to me. anyway, I think the one ghost woman (I think her name was like, matilda or something) is going to be the main quest giver here. and I think that it'll likely be a fetch quest of meandering through a boobytrapped, haunted mansion, and finding her lost pet which looked like a dog or a seal, but was still a ghost. I think what we're going to see from this episode is Gangle doing everything in her power to keep her comedy mask from breaking, dodging all sorts of traps and stuff that threaten to break her mask if she gets hit. and I think it'll look a lot like a scooby-doo cartoon for a bit. However, I do think that Gangle's mask will break, and I'm very interested in seeing what happens when it does. especially with the episodes quote being "oh..."

now with episodes 5 and 6 I can't find anything on what's to come for those yet, like what NPC's exist for those episodes, or the general aesthetic or vibe of the episodes. the only clip that I could find in the "Pomni wake up! it's time to go on an adventure" video was the "Kinger with a shotgun" clip. but I think that's more connected to the fact that Gooseworx stated there'd be "dried out corpses" in one of the future episodes.

Episode 5 is described with the word "haha!", and is themed around Ragatha. so maybe we'll see Ragatha struggle with the consequence of internalizing all of the stress she's experienced, being upset about things that hurt her long before Pomni arrived, and struggling to like, express what she's internalized in a healthy way.

Episode 6 is described with the word "guns", and is Jax centric.

I wonder who could've seen this coming... but yeah, I'm intrigued by this episode. I have no idea what's in store for it, but I know we'll probably get to know a lot more about Jax. like what his room looks like, how he copes, why he acts the way he does. personally I'd like to see if there's any reason behind his cruelty toward the others and his surroundings, I think it'd make for great character development.

Now, episodes 7, 8, and 9 are complete mysteries, however I wouldn't be too surprised if we see Caine get character development or exploration. seeing how he managed to make AI so complex is was capable of becoming sentient, it wouldn't surprise me if Caine himself was sentient on some level. maybe we'd see more of how he feels about the circus crew, how he builds adventures. however I do have a theory revolving around the very incomplete stadium we saw in the "pomni wake up! it's time to go on an adventure" video. at first I thought it'd be something akin to like, a gladiator type adventure, where the entire circus crew has to fight the NPC's from all the episodes. but after looking closer, it seems to have the exact layout of a baseball stadium. with little bench areas for the team members to sit and everything. I think that in one of those episodes, Caine is going to improv announcing a ball game, where the circus crew, and the NPC's of the previous episodes all end up playing baseball against each other. so I think gumigoo will be brought back in this episode, along with all the other NPC's from the previous episodes.

And that part when she said something like "will you throw away us for something that's already finished?" (Sorry i know its not the correct quote), i was like girl... YES!!! He threw away 5 years for you. You've been around for not even 5 months, you're nothing to this fool. They're both delusional. Chasing something that's not theirs. I want Rie to see this as a way to redeem herself. Learn and do better. I'm hoping YN doesn't act on a whim and be mean to Rie. Don't do it girl. You're better than this.

As much as I love the idea of Y/NxSuguru, realistically it would be awkward. It's like an unwritten rule to not date exs mates. Esp if it ended bad. I know it works well in some cases, but here... 😬😬 YN has seen how how much of a floozy (lol im sorry i cant think of another word rn, its on the tip of my tongue) is being. Oooh one thing? This is really hard. What attracted me most to him as a character is his humility and his strength in his stoicism, his quiet will to endure if that makes sense? Man’s been through hell of a lot but he just carries on for the sake of those around him and has more mental fortitude than he’s given credit for and he's wise for his age but he can also be chill and sometimes dorky and I like his well-roundedness, I guess. He is a good person even if he comes off differently, and he can’t see how good he is, and that makes me love him 😭 I like how his low-key nature is belied by something deeper. He has like, the kind of masculine traits that are more low-key and overlooked but I find super attractive.

least favorite thing about them

He has a tendency to... passivity, I guess? I guess it’s the lackadaisical part of his personality, the part of him that’s just happy to... just die and fade away into nothing and just see himself as how useful he can be to those around him? He doesn’t live for himself too much in any meaningful way, and it’s always kinda sad to watch. Like, on one level his self-sacrificial nature can be admirable and on another it's sad.

He has so many good ones omg. I love the lessons he instils into the kids when they're little? He says something to Sakura after the Rock Lee/Gaara fight that;s like, there are times when condolences are crueler or something like that. Like, deep, bro. I know he was quoting someone else but i also loved the line he gave where he said 'to know what is right and to ignore it is the act of a coward'. That one's probably my favourite.

BUT, I wanna mention, one that's popping into my head right now is the one at the end of the Land of Waves arc, Naruto looks away from Zabuza's body and Kakashi says something like 'when you live your life as a warrior, this is how it ends.' Idk, it had an impact on me even as a kid, it just brought a lot of gravity to the situation and Idk, the kind of respect he'd had from someone he'd been fighting to kill for the whole arc and it's just one that got me thinking about men and soldiers and war. Like, I used to be obsessed with WW1 literature and it kinda harkened back to that, I guess.

Kakashi and Gai, obviously. I really loved their dynamic and friendship for so long before coming to tumblr tbh, where I kinda fell out of love with it (I just felt that both these characters are so much more than the other character but they just got reduced to that), but I’m appreciating it again.

This is a cliche answer but none. I really don’t have any for him. He just doesn’t have any characters that I see him having romantic chemistry with - I don’t approach ships like most people, so I’m not super excitable or imaginative about ships to begin with, like, there are some I like and dislike, but I really don’t get invested in the idea of them unless they’re a huge part of the show itself, and that’s never been really why I enjoyed Naruto and Kakashi just doesn't have that with any characters for me. So, because i don't really have an answer, I'll tell you who I can see him being compatible with - he actually would work really well with Shizune, they'd balance and complete each other in a lot of ways, and he'd be good with Mei Terumi too, because you know, sexy man, sexy woman, power couple, both Kages, she has this understated badass feminine energy and Kakashi has this lowkey subtle badass masculine energy so I like that. His personality complements Iruka quite well too, he'd be compatible with him I think. The kind of bond he has with Obito is easier to reimagine romantically than it is with some of his other ships too.

I really don’t like any of his ships 😂  the student ships are particularly indigestible to me, and specifically during my teens I really hated Kakash x Sakura (it’s still probably my least favourite one, but no offense to any followers of mine who ship it), but like... I love Kakashi and Gai as a brotp, but I really don’t get KakaGai in a non-platonic sense, I really don’t (I'm sorry, I feel like that’s sacrilege on this website, and tbh that;s probably what’s emboldened my... confusion? of it).

random headcanon

Everyone says Kakashi is a dog person, and he is, but he is an animal person! He really likes being in nature and around animals in general, more than people. He would never turn his nose up at a cat and he'll watch some birds out of his window when he's half-asleep in the morning. I dont see him as a huge plant person but he's also got a hell of a green thumb, he probably just has one plant that he loves, but i like to think he has an appreciation and deep understanding of nature.

Lol I am the queen of unpopular opinions and I have a lot when it comes to Kakashi. Firstly, he’s not nearly as weak or as passive as a lot of the fandom would have you believe. Idk maybe fans want to make him more relatable and project onto him but they make fanon Kakashi a lot less functional and competent than he is in canon? He’s not defined by his depression or ptsd either. I think people on here feminise him far too much too (just something I’ve noticed, particularly with shippers. To me it’s a clear case of fan projection. Which is valid, but not what I get out of a show. Also, kinda unrelated but tumblr has this thing where they make established badass male characters into ‘uwu soft boys’ and I’m kinda allergic to it lmao)

Also, this is probably only unpopular on tumblr, but I'ma say it, I’ve always just had typical straight guy vibes from this man? Obviously people can see him how they want and I don’t really want to contest with anyone’s headcanons, but i’m someone that just goes by the source material, so when I see the idea of Kakashi with a woman being met with a lot of hostility and derision, it... confuses me a little.

TVXQ Concert Circle - #with In Jakarta

“Definitely an unforgettable concert experience. The dazzling stage is just too much, the concert literally climb up into THE BEST concert i have ever been to. Everyone alive should at least attend one of their concert, and you’ll have no regrets left.” - me

“The energy, the performances, the stage, the visual, the lightnings, are just beyond words. Despite the small venue, TVXQ brings out their very best act like it was in stadium/dome. Their professionalism is what everyone should look up to.” - me

Some quoted words above are me acting out as critics but,

HOLY SHIT AFTER SO MANY YEARS THEY FINALLY CAME AND HELL YEAH THEY CLIMBED UP INTO THE BEST CONCERT I'VE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE.

THE STAGE, THE ENERGY, THE PERFORMANCE, THE SOUND, THE LIGHTNINGS, THE VISUAL, HOLY SHIT THAT WAS THE VERY BEST.

They are all very true. Sounds a little bit exaggerating, but THAT IS THE TEA yeorobeun. ok sorry, pardon me.

So am gonna tell you guys about this amazing experience. i can actually say that my literacy is not that good especially in english but since i want to improve my english skill, here i am trying. So....

At first i kinda worried if TVXQ gonna cancelled the concert again like in the Philippine because the venue was small and only 1 section was sold out but the day is finally came!!!! ALHAMDULILLAH.

When i entered the venue, i was kinda sad because there were section that was not packed enough and had some space but what's on my mind that day was "i'm going to have fun, i'm going to see them in real life, i'm going to sing my heart out!" and turned out all the crowd think the same as mine? lmao because the energy we poured during every song was so loud maybe because there's a lot of people who has been waiting for 16 years also!! If i compared it to my Eyes On You experience, it's like, when i'm doing fanchant because of the sound and my own voice, i can't hear clearly if the fanchant was loud or not but in this concert, holy shit, i heard the fanchant so loudly!!!!!

I'm glad that everyone who attended the concert have memorable experience to bring back home and as encouragement to face the real life that's gonna happen in the next day (lmao it's for me).

As for the concert, i never expect that the setlist has that flow so the songs feel connected to each other somehow. It was also thanks to the VCR that contained of hotness, handsomeness, and funny videos.

Bounce, Something, and Top of The World became the opening act and seems like to hold a magician concept! And it was so much fun lmao i can honestly say that i don't really like Bounce before but when it was sung at the concert heeeeeeol it's so good!!

After that, Yunho and Changmin introduced themselves and i love the way they speak Bahasa lmao. Yunho was like "Sudah lama tidak bertemu. Apa kabar semuanya!!!" and Changmin was like "Saya kangen kalian semua" and did a yes pose (lmao he is so cute) as we answered yes though it's not a question, it's a statement lol.

After that was Truth and then Love Line, my favorites of their own separate albums ❤ and then Tonight. In my honest opinion, Tonight is a hard song to sing because it is full of high notes and truthfully the 5 were singing it with so much effort and then now it's only 2 who is singing it, my heart is weeping. I really appreciate the hard work that Yunho and Changmin put on singing this song, and it was not disappointing at all, it was beautiful. VERY BEAUTIFUL. I CAN'T. I love you guys, truly. Thank you for singing this song.

Now was the time for Yunho solo. He sang his newest single Follow, although i prefer City Lights he he The Chance of Love came after, holy shit, it was the remix version that they sing in MBC Gayo. Changmin's high note in "i will take you higher~~ i will take you HIGHEEEEEEER" is just too good, i am in awe. Sooner than Later came next. It was not expected that Sooner than Later would also became a performance full of hotness, though still can't beat Before U Go which was came after, but still.

AND THEN THE PEAK OF HOTNESS CAME (yes, it’s Before U Go!). MY HEART. OK THIS IS MADNESS MY HEART WAS LIKE "OMG OMG OMG ALLAHU AKBAR" because it was that deadly ass performance. You know what i mean if you know what kind of performance Before U Go is. Thank you again Yunho and Changmin that was brilliant. My life is now complete.

So, here am gonna spill my Before U Go fancam that was intended to be my private belongings but, if i don’t do this you guys will not get what i mean TT

The next was the ballad stage, TVXQ sang Lazybones and Mideoyo. When they started singing Lazybones, all the white lights turned on them and at that exact moment, me and everyone around me be like "MALAIKAT" which means "ANGEL" HAHAHA.

And finally, Changmin's solo Beautiful Stranger. Have been waiting for this because the song is just beautiful itself. My most favorite of Changmin's solo and the 2nd is In a Different Life. Changmin's kind of solo is really put me to lay back for awhile.

After that is Vertigo and Mirotic. MIROTIC IS THAT PERFORMANCE WHEN I LITERALLY PUT MY LUNGS OUT TO DO THE FANCHANT. IT WAS CRAZY. MIROTIC WAS CRAZY.

Hug and Balloons came next! Hug was kinda beat up not like the original one. Looking at Changmin and Yunho singing this song really reminisce the old one and they both look very different (lmao ofcourse!). Balloons was so fun!! We jumped a lot and literally shout so loudly "JIIINAGABORIIII" lol anyway they showed up with a boyfriend look and huhu they're so handsome TT after that is Dream, still with the boyfriend look.

In the bridge of Balloons, Changmin was like pointed to our side and Yunho was like saying something in korean and told us to sing "La~ La La La La~" and then after our turn, Changmin was like "Kiri~" means it's the left side turn to sing and then he said "Semuaa" which means "All" and then Yunho followed along saying "Semua semua semua!!" And then he said "Sekali lagi!! (Once more!)" Lol why are they so cute 😭

After the kind of cute, fun and lay back jumping stage, it’s suddenly turned into MAXIMUM-KYHD-RISING SUN stage. IF MIROTIC WAS CRAZY THAN THIS PART OF THE CONCERT WAS CRAZIER!!!! IT IS THAT CLIMAX HOLY SHITTTT and what made me upset was, in the middle of Keep Your Head Down,  my phone's storage was suddenly full FAAAAAAAAAKKKKK fortunately my external storage was still empty, thankfully i have still got the full footage of Maximum and Rising Sun and half of footage of Keep Your Head Down. Thank God! but still TT

After that was Morning Sun, Yunho and Changmin threw balls to the audience. And waw Changmin's throw was really far i'm impressed.

The last but not least, Circle. The song that really fits for an ending of a concert when i first listened to it. The melody, the rhythm, the tunes, all of them, i love it. HUHU and finally i can hear it live TT

At the ending ment, it felt sentimental as in Yunho and Changmin actually keep repeating the “16 years” and keep saying thank you as if they were kind of regret to hold their first concert here just now, while they should’ve hold concert here sooner, like YES YOU SHOULD HAVE COME SOONER! nonetheless, the important thing is they held their solo concert here finally, it’s always better to be late than never. So, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for including Indonesia in your tour!!!! and i won’t forget your promise to come back here again and will definitely come to watch you guys again!

I felt very satisfied after the concert, despite the waiting-outside-the-venue thing that got your ass burned and skin got tanned (lol), the concert was that magical i came home weeping lol. I know that TVXQ consists of main vocal of their separate trainee groups but i really think that the recording tape of CD or DVD did them injustice! Their vocals are SO much better than the CD! While other groups sound the same as the CD, TVXQ are much greater. I think the CDs can't contain the greatness of TVXQ's voices.

It's been more than a month and i still can't get over the concert, instead, i love them more than ever! To think that i'd jump to this blackhole again lol....

I truly don't know how to express my love for this series anymore. You make me go through all the possible emotions in every chapter. I go from sobbing to laughing out loud in seconds. And I truly love that. And I am so attached to these characters! I want to protect them from everything that could hurt them (considering how badass are these two, I can't protect them from anything they couldn't but let's pretend).

The whole scene where Raaz had Grogu in her arms and was bouncing him was so so cute. Also I love that reader was starting to allowed herself to be happy.

It escalates quickly; the tenderness of last night now serves as gasoline on a fire that flares up faster than you can control the spread.

This quote was incredible. I love it

“The next time I see you, I’ll kill you.” Din’s words are cold; they hold no anger or sadness - they’re empty. Last night, you were worrying about disappointing him but this was now so much more than that. He felt betrayed and somehow, that was worse than disappointment.

I think my heart broke into a million pieces here. I couldn't even choose a side in this fight.

The way you write these parts of tension, of desperation, is incredible.

“Did you let him fuck you?”

Ok I know this question was hard for Din, but omg I laughed out loud😂 I love one (1) asshole with zero social abilities haha

“Are you going to kill me, Din?” “Don’t be a coward. Look at me while you do it.”

She is amazing, I love her. She is kinda crazy, but I love her.

“To you.” You tell him quietly. “I’m loyal to you, Din.”

Aaaand I am a sucker for love and trust. I'm so relieved that Din already knows all these things about her.

“You’ll never be too much for me.” Din tells you with such sincerity that you almost fucking melt right there on the spot. Then with his other hand, he reaches up to hook his thumb beneath the edge of his helmet so that he can lift it slowly, allowing his face to come into view. The action has your heart pounding in your chest just as it had the first time he removed his helmet in front of you and you were met with those brown eyes. Only this time, it meant something completely different. Din truly saw you in the way you had seen him back in Raaz’s house - he saw who you were and he chose to stand beside you.

Ok was going to point out the first part of this paragraph, but it's just so beautiful and perfect. The fact that you manage to write these different feelings towards Din taking off his helmet. It was not only him showing his face but also she showing her past. Both showing something that no one else in the galaxy should see or know. Like a silent promise of trust. I love it.

And if you were to make a list of all the things that Din was good at, making you feel as though you were the only one he wanted like this, in the whole of the damn universe, would be somewhere up there in the top three.

I want them to be happy so much😭 this was so lovely. What a beautiful thing to feel, right? I love it.

“You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” Din then concludes and holds onto you just that little bit tighter in the darkness. “You can go back to sleep now.”

Another thing I love about how you write Din is the way he expresses his feelings. He is still quiet, of course. But he drops little things here and there that means so much with such a few words. The perfect words. It's so beautiful.

I have been thinking about this story so much lately. I am truly so involved (and obsessed) with this. Thank you so much for writing this masterpiece ❤
