you don't bother putting on your wig, opting to throw it in a ponytail and pulling up your hood to sneak escape from the dorms.

there was a 10pm set curfew and it was currently 11:43.

sure, you could've definitely avoided this but where's the fun in that?

you carefully tip-toe around rin, trying your best to make as little noise as possible. the last thing you'd want to do is wake him from his precious beauty sleep and be the victim of his wrath.

you've snuck out plenty of times before! this should be a breeze. light work even! opening the window with ease, you look down and grimace. who knew the second floor would be this high? it was definitely not this high back at home. you shake it off and jump bracing yourself.

you jump out of the window successfully, landing safely on your feet.

"i knew taking gymnastics for a year wasn't a waste! take that mom!" quickly, you leave the scene to avoid getting caught.

the walk wasn't too bad. the nearest convenience store being a family mart, a block down from the facility. 5 minutes later, you were staring up at the familiar blue-green led hue of the signs.

you glance around the store, eyes lighting up at the hot food section. fami-chickens! your favorite. to your dismay, you watch as the convenience store worker take the last two fami-chicken patties and hand it to a tall guy with glasses.

just as he's about to leave you call out to him.

"hey you!"

the individual turns around in confusion.

"me?"

"please, please, please, let me have the last fami-chicken! i haven't eaten all day."

you pull off your best puppy eyes and a pout to pair along with it.

he sighs, handing you the fami-chickens with a smile.

"fyi that wouldn't have worked if you weren't a cutie like yourself. also, there's no need to pull on that face. you look better just the way you are."

he winks before waving his hand.

"i'm off."

"wait at least let me pay you!"

"no need!"

you cheeks are left flushed from the interaction.

yikes.

you realized you had one minor flaw in your escape plan. sure, you had a way out, but you completely forgot a way to sneak back in. face palming at this realization.

"i'm just gonna run up the wall and hope for the best."

you run back towards the fence, charging up your jump. to your surprise, you're able to grab onto the window sill successfully. you climb back through the window, bag in hand.

"and safe!"

"what the hell?"

rin jolts up awake in fear.

"relax it's me, hiori!"

"what? what the fuck? did you just come from the window?"

"i just grabbed a snack! or two actually." you lift up the bag as an offer. "want one?"

he shakes his head. "hard pass. i need sleep. if you will excuse me."

"more for me i guess!"

"just don't be late to practice tomorrow. i like to have a set schedule. and please just use the door next time."

he throws a glance at you before retreating back under the covers.

you throw a thumbs up as you dig into your meal, biting happily into your precious fami-chicken. your mind wanders back to the stranger at the family mart.

he sure was cute.

eh.

you had other things to worry about. like being up for practice in 6 hours time. you were definitely not waking up on time.

oh, rina would not take that well. like, at all.

at first, she’d probably scoff and act unbothered, waving y/n off with a dismissive flick of her wrist. “fine. go. it’s not like i need you here every second.” but the second y/n actually leaves, everything starts falling apart.

suddenly, her schedule is a mess because no one else handles it as efficiently as y/n. she has to deal with her own coffee orders, which is a disaster because everyone keeps getting it wrong. her clothes for shoots aren’t prepared the way she likes, and don’t even get her started on dealing with her manager and stylists on her own.

she’d grow moodier by the day, snapping at everyone who so much as breathes wrong. when y/n tries to check in via text, jimin would leave her on read out of pure spite—but then be glued to her phone waiting for another message.

by day three, she’d give up the act and start sending passive-aggressive texts. ‘how’s your little vacation?’ ‘hope you’re enjoying yourself while i suffer.’ then another a few hours later: ‘when are you coming back?’

by the time y/n actually returns, jimin would act all nonchalant, barely glancing up from her phone. “oh, you’re back? took you long enough.” but the way she lingers a little too close, the way her eyes soften ever so slightly—yeah, she definitely lost her mind without y/n.

A bit of announcement and insight into my future plans here. Long read so I'll put read more line

Some of you may have noticed I haven't written Genshin fics for a while. The reason is really just I have lost interest in the game, i still have it but I didn't log in this entire patch and was on and off before it too. Literally didn't even pull Mavuika despite having a guarantee and enough time to farm primos. Many things have bothered me about it for a while, Natlan as a whole didn't pull me in and I just couldn't anymore.

Nevertheless, I still love my waifus in it and won't give up writing them. Genshin started my fanfic journey so I can't really drop it so easily. I'll probably continue to not write Genshin content for a while more, hoping to reignite my passion for the game. The requests I have are all so good so I definitely have the interest to do them, just need motivation. Ptn and hsr content would probably take the front seat for a while, especially ptn since I have an on and off relationship with hsr too.

Currently I'm obsessing over Aglaea and Jade in hsr so they'll keep me motivated for it. But if I don't get another fave in Amphoreus then it's gonna go down. Ptn, however, will stick around all the time. Never dropping this game and I know I'll keep getting new faves it's just that good and appeals to me so much. Aside from this, I play wuthering waves and aether gazer most so I can do requests on them as well. I tend to try most new gachas and get into some of them so you are welcome to ask me if I have a new fixation lol.

Ok moving onto some personal stuff. Starting from 17th February, I will be going out to pursue my master's degree. First I have a 3 days long travel then over there I'll be settling stuff until my course begins on 3rd March. Hence, I won't be posting much- if at all- during the second half of February and early March. After that it depends on the schedule I have there, probably gonna be pretty slow for a while cause it's a new place for me and I need to do many things on my own away from home. I'll keep you all updated how it goes, and if I can write then I'll just post as usual.

Hi. It's been a while.

Sorry for disappearing just like that considering I've never pulled this before since I first began posting on this blog.

No, this is not a goodbye note. I'm just gonna give y'all a little life update on what's been going on with me hahaha

So uh, I'm alive and well. Life has been life-ing since I returned to my home country. I was severely burnt out from doing my Masters and a week after coming home, I started working and my sleeping schedule has been a fucking mess since then. As it turns out, remotely working for a foreign company where you have to follow their time zones would fuck with your sleep schedule. Who would've known? /s

I haven't had the time to open the game bcs of this and as a result, my story has been put on the back burner bcs y'know, irl stuff is my priority. And I'm also experiencing some burnout for basically everything. So I decided to take this break for my own sake and for the blog's sake. I'm hoping that when I come back, I could return with a story that everyone can enjoy.

Aside from not having time bcs of work and personal stuff, Love and Deepspace also had my full attention since September so...yeah. I blame Zayne for taking my attention away from the story lol

I'm not ending the story for this blog anytime soon, even if there's only like 10 ppl reading it. Ya girl is not a quiter. The story is still going, it's just on a...how should I say this? An indefinite hiatus? On a pause? And I've also like thought about putting it on a pause while working on it until the ending in the background so when the chapter is up, I'll just release them one by one. Still considering this tbh 🤷🏽‍♀️

I hope everyone is doing okay. I do miss posting here. But rn irl is my priority. I turned off my ask so I do not have to worry about leaving anyone's asks hanging.

I do want to thank the ppl who reached out to me via discord and asked me how I'm doing. I really appreciate that (❁´◡`❁)

I think we're gonna get at least one more chapter where we wrap back around to the Diasomnia boys (I have THEORIES!!!!), but I think 13 will probably be the last one! maybe also 14 as a short epilogue/setup for episode 8, depending on where they cut after we deal with Malleus. we are definitely approaching the endgame though! ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ the party is almost assembled...the light is at the end of the tunnel...it is almost time to go throw pies into Tsunotarou's silly face until he comes to his senses...

(disclaimer since I don't think they've actually officially confirmed that there's going to be an episode 8, that this is of course just me assuming that Grim's arc/whatever's going on with Crowley probably/various other wrapups are going to be a separate episode, and aren't gonna be folded into the absolute beast that has been episode 7. BUT it does make for a nice break point and makes sense thematically with Ramshackle being, like, the semi-official 8th dorm and all, so I think it's a pretty safe bet at this point!)

Wow! What a nice happy family :3. I sure hope nothing happens to them! :3 I’ve always liked to arrange the series of events like first Selena and Simon met and got married, then the Dracula stuff went down, so uh yeah uh fan interpretation of their (currently) unnamed kids.

The text here says “where’s momma?”, said by his daughter (who by this point is 2-3 about). Shout out to the artist ability to make yourself really sad—

Anyway, the one on the left is the older daughter and the one on the right is the younger brother and as of Simon’s quest they are 10 and 7 respectively. The brother would’ve been born the year of CV1 if I have my math right, so when Simon was 22.

The original meme only had two images, but each of these are supposed to be based on specific events so yeah. First one is just pre CV1, then the moment he got hit, then shortly after leaving the castle, then in the graveyard 6 years later, then somewhere in the middle of his quest.

This one is fun!!!!!! It’s an idea for like a double sided keychain :D!!!!! One side has the like CV1/CV4 era Simon swinging on one of those loops and the other is Simon’s Quest!!! And it’s supposed to be the Hanged Man tarot card!!! So cool!!! Idk how making keychains works so if I actually did this I’d probs just make one in shrink plastic tbh. But ough it would be so cool to actually make and sell little fan keychains and stuff (TwT ).

my teacher for weather and climate gave us a main textbook which is the one we reference and need to read throughout the course and then three EXTRA optional textbooks for supplemental learning, with varying levels of technicality for those interested, and in the links she provided every single one was available online for free (in the creative commons sense, not the piracy sense, since obv that could get a teacher in trouble) and i could kiss her on the mouth
