Rock is an ancient healer from a time long before the Clans when there were tribes of cats living around the lake. He appears immortal, having lost many of his senses and much of his fur due to age. In the time of the Ancients, Rock would mark the softpaws who succeeded their trial in the tunnels to become sharpclaws on a stick. He has the power to summon cats in dreams and has absolute knowledge of the past and future.  I estimate him to be over 200 years old.

I gotta say I really love what I did with rock in my au. Looking at the wiki of him the Erin's really didn't give a reason to why he's immortal or how he even exists. So making him like a guardian of time is kinda interesting. Im trying really hard to keep in line with the canon and just expand on it but it's hard. When originally I was making rock a guardian of time I was just gonna straight up make him the personifaction of time but then I started listening to dark river and I wanted to keep his relationship to the tribe. So he's a guardian of time that kinda nudges history where it's needed. I also like the idea that he's kinda the grim reaper which is why fallen leaves saw him before he died. So yeah.

It took three and a half years, but I'm finally up-to-date with my hi-res jobstone illustrations. I started with the Summoner during summer of 2021, and I just finished my last one (Viper) a few days ago.

This project started because it annoyed me that there weren't any official hi-res images of the jobstones. I just really wanted to look at the pretty rocks that played such an important role in the game!!! So hopefully someone else who is obsessive about in-game items can derive some pleasure from this.

Trying to sort out some lore for cots in my brain but it's hard cause I'm trying to keep it lore friendly to the canon but I'm also struggling with plot holes. Ugh. It's about rock and stuff and I just need to do some more rereading of book cliff notes
