my DIE YOUNG Needletail AMV is finally done!!! it goes through needletail's character development through AVOS and the blue, pink, and purple colours are tied to her relationships and character (Darktail/her loneliness, Rain/her selfish joy, Violetshine/her selflessness)

I've been working on this one for more than a year and completely in a new editing program too so im soooo happy to finally have it done ;w; this might be one of my last big amvs i'll have time to make so i hope yall enjoy!! (music in the video is ‘my die young’ by penny parker @snapscube)

The Warrior Cats project of the day is Moonlight Shadow by Crowla! This AMV is through the point of view of Stemleaf's ghost as he follows his mate Spotfur who can't see him and doesn't know he is there. The art style is so squishy and cute, and the animation is super smooth in some parts and more limited in others, which is so satisfying to watch. This video is so beautifully sad but also hopeful, it leaves me teary! I also love Spotfur's little eye heart.

the playlist contains all warrior cats PMVs/AMVs/MAPs/etc to the date, excluding ocs and memes/shitposts. it is sorted by newest published and is updated on a daily - weekly basis. here it is! ↓

how you can help me! – of course, i can't possibly find every single warrior cats animation - there are currently over 4,000 videos in the playlist, with even more older works being found every week. i especially fail to find videos from animators on the lower end of sub counts or views, simply because of the youtube algorithm. therefore, if you know of any animations or animators that you want to check are in the playlist, feel free to dm me / send me asks, i'll check and add! the more videos the merrier ^w^

disclaimers – i would like to note that i have not included the individual works (such as pmvs/amvs) of animators that are problematic, but may have included completed maps hosted by them in respect of the other animators and artists who worked on them. if you find the work of a problematic animator in the playlist, please dm me as i may not have that information. additionally, i am stating here that i do not add animations depicting grooming (such as in some works with spottedleaf) and i never include works with proship or the like.

i hope that, by sharing this playlist, it can be improved! but most of all, i hope warrior cats fans like me can enjoy watching all of the incredible animations made over the years :]

I'm really gonna need someone to try to make a Warrior Cats PMV, AMV, or MAP to "16 Carriages" by Beyonce. LIKE ASAP. Cause Idk why but I'm definitely seeing Leafpool and/or Squirrelflight to that song ngl.

Like especially the lyrics:

You can definitely imagine that being them having to leave the forest territory to go to the lake territory. Plus, their extreme fear that Starclan has abandoned them or that they won't be with them in the new territory.

I can envision that being connected to Leafpool and Squirrelflight will be names forever remembered for Leafpool finding the moonpool in the lake territory. Secondly, their contributions to raising two of the cats apart of The Three. Thirdly, Squirrelflight has to deal with Ashfur becoming a weird ghost thing you know. Lastly, it also represents the fact their achievements in life will forever engrave Firestar's descendants being a part of a legacy of cats who have made huge impacts upon the clans as a whole. In addition to this, could represent how the fandom will always remember their legacy as it could be a cool little shot of it showing the fandom constantly making content about them that's forever keeping their legacy alive for years to come.

Sorry if some of this isn't accurate or anything as it been a minute since I read the books. But I really wanted to jot down this idea.

The Warrior Cats project of the day is Get Up Shadowsight by RamKat! This AMV/PMV takes place when Shadowsight's nearly-dead body was found by Rootspring in the gorge. The lipsync at the start is smooth and fun to watch, and I love the way Spiresight seperates into clouds to reveal Rootspring! You can really feel the desperation and emotion in this MV, and I must say I really like the Rootspring design.

These are all the characters' 'base' colours! For each blue/pink/purple scene I'd put the corresponding blue/pink/purple colour (seen at the bottom of the first image) at 100% Soft Light over them (with a clipping mask) to tint them appropriately C:

I made sooo many character designs for this amv haha; usually different/side characters don't show up as much in my amvs that I honestly just make them up on the spot lol. But this time a lot of side characters appeared multiple times so I actually designed them out beforehand (and I started to have fun drawin lil guys hehe)

Oh yea forgor: the lil note beside Darktail's eye; I originally wanted the lake to be blue to match the symbolic colour of Needle's like despair n stuff, But through the course of making the amv I realized I wanted the lake she drowns in to be purple because she's doing it for Violetpaw!! So in the amv the water ended up being blue for just a moment when Dark pushes her underwater, then back to its purple :')

And the second BTS is the sketches for the thumbnail! I started in my sketchbook to brainstorm n then moved it over to digital (that digital sketch needle has like one paw raised but then i was like. That looks weird lol)
