long so under cut

2004ish, first exposure to internet, we had dial up and windows xp and the only thing i used it for was to look at pictures of spyro, otherwise my only other computer usage was in the form of various cd games

jump to 2007-2008, first actual browsing, i would mostly look at youtube videos of the game spore and warrior cats amvs/animations, i also browsed warrior cats rp forums, my first online accounts were made here on webkinz and club penguin

2009, i end up making accounts for spore and foopets, first actual online interactions with people, entered pokemon and dragon rp forums, got very minorly involved in fandom consumption, also got into anime and whatnot around this time

2011, joined deviantart and got banned not even a year in because i wasnt 13 yet lol

from then on notable things were limited until around 2014 when i joined tumblr and started looking into fandom spaces again, minimal to no online interactions with people

2017, graduated high school, entered college and decided to make a new deviantart account and jjba rp blog on tumblr, started making actual long lasting online friends and started interacting again, also got discord

since then have gotten in and out of relationships and have met a good number of online people in person and it has been cool

pretty sure my first ever exposure to fall out boy was thnks fr th mmrs playing in the credits of some warrior cats amv or another

according to itunes i've had infinity on high in my music library since 2009 however i don't consider myself having become a genuine fan until 2013 when save rock and roll came out long story short but i wasnt really allowed to have my own interests but by that time i was in college so i learned how to like things also i was watching ybc as it came out and got hooked on the fact that it was a continuous story and thats what made me a fan

my first concert was fall out boy in 2018 it was mania tour and they opened with disloyal order of water buffaloes and i immediately got choked up and then i saw joe trohman sprinting down the catwalk a mere like 10 feet from me and promptly burst into tears 10/10 would relive that same night again and again

I looove the scene from the manga when he has to fight the dog living in the alley, cause people take it out of context all the time like "oh those cats were so stupid, how could a little tiny kitty defeat a dog". BUT THEY SHOULD REREAD THE SCENE. It's obvious that the alley cats don't truly believe scourge could kill a dog but at this point they might as well try. and if he gets killed it's no big deal to them. and the fact that scourge recognizes that it was just his shadow scaring the dog, but is able to use that deception to his advantage to gain power says so much about him as a character!!

went on tiktok the other day (my meds aren’t working well and it was the only thing that’d hold my attention at the time) and stumbled on this video of a blonde girl taking apart a robot’s computer to shut it down for good, and as this is happening the robot asks her to sing with him. So they sing a bicycle built for two together until she removes the final part and he fades out the end of the song.

anyways that video sent me into near hysterics, so does anyone have a link to that so i can experience those emotions again
