I wanted to bring it back to when it was Drake Laedeke💀 both of those 2 radiate golden retriever energy and tend to play well meaning characters. So I just wanted to give them their flowers for being amazing supporting characters.

I came to know these two in roles for GMMTV one played non-binary in the phenomenon series WARP EFFECT which celebrated all sexualities and identities. The other played the mother of one of my faves PHUWIN TANGSAKYUEN in NEVER LET ME GO.

Now as a happy couple in LAWS OF ATTRACTION. it's their GL couple Rose (RASEE WACHARAPOLMEK aka ORGAN)and Maya (PAVIDA MORIGGI aka SILVY)

normally the 11th hour "this random side character was actually your BIOLOGICAL FATHER!" twist would be dumb contrived drama fare, but...I think it actually kind of makes sense for the warp effect.

as other people have mentioned, ultimately it's a show about how alex has passed pain on to other people due to his OWN sexual trauma and mental blocks. and of course, that trauma had to come from somewhere - we already knew it came from his mother and religion, but it's very interesting to learn that THAT started as his mother's response to being betrayed by a man and left to fend for herself.

now we can plainly see a huge web of parallels, or better, repetitions. alex's sin is the same as the sin that begat him. and alex's guilt is the same as teacher saran's guilt. to an extent, alex's unwillingness to forgive teacher saran is the same as jean's unwillingness to forgive alex.

i'm not sure yet how those stories of forgiveness (or lack thereof) play out. but what's clear is that this show is telling us about the responsibility we have for others. loving someone, being with someone, puts responsibility on all of us to take care of them. otherwise, it creates hurt, especially for those who are often cast in a more critical light by society (women, queer people), and that hurt carries forward into the lives of our children.

In gay male relationships, being a bottom or top has nothing to do with what your body type or personality.

Penetrative sex is not the be-all end-all of sex, including in gay relationships. There are tons of ways to have satisfying, engrossing, and loving sex without penetration.

Not wanting sex, or a particular kind of sex act, doesn't mean you're any less in love or any less entitled to your identity than someone who does.

Coming out is personal. Even in a relationship, and even if you believe being out is the only way for you to fully live your own life, you cannot assume that being out is the right choice for any other person.

Not just girls / females can get HPV, males can get it too.

Vaginas making sounds during penetrative sex is not something to be ashamed of, and it doesn't mean the vagina is 'loose'. It's about position and a number of other factors, and it's not a big deal.

You have the right to a nurse of the same sex being in the room if getting examined by a doctor from the opposite sex.

Alcohol is fun, but it can harm your judgement and jeopardize consent, especially if you're inexperienced with sex, alcohol, or both.

Don't take or share pictures and videos of someone who's undressed or intoxicated without their consent. It can fuck up their life for good, and it makes you a piece of shit.

Your parents' dreams for you don't define you. Be a musician if that's what you want to be!

Everyone should exercise regularly, eat well, and get checked up regularly so that they can stick around for their loved ones.

Even if you're on the pill, a condom is always a good idea.

Get screened for cervical cancer. (This one was on those posters of himself Alex saw when he first came to the future, haha).

Some people have a strong sense of their sexuality/gender identity. Others don't

Even guys who seem like good ones can do horrible things and be unaware. They are not required to be forgiven no matter how guilty they feel

Being single by choice is not shameful

Fwb is not shameful either

No one has any right to expect more out of a relationship when you have communicated what you are up for up front

Female friendship is a beautiful, wonderful thing, why would we pit so many bad bitches against each other when they're cooler as friends?

Nonsexual kinks are valid and with the right person can make for a beautiful relationship

There are several methods for pregnancy and it's important to discuss things with your donor (if you've chosen one personally)

Listen to your partner! It is actually possible to be together for a decade and still be unaware of something they like/dislike!

You can be forgiven for being shitty in high school but that is not up to you, it's only up to the person you have wronged

They are also not a reason to feel shame and are simply a matter of getting proper treatment and abstaining from sex while healing. Straight couples can get them, it isn't just a gay stereotype

Anyone can have a romantic relationship and not have sex

Parenting from afar isn't being responsible, but it is still possible to create a relationship with your estranged child

Dick size is nothing to be concerned about - you can find someone who enjoys a sexual relationship with you no matter what

It is so important to see your doctor. If that doctor makes you uncomfortable, though, you should be fine to leave and go somewhere else

Gay does not mean pedophile and it's important for you and your children to know the difference because there are gay teachers and coaches who have enough on their shoulders

Sex work should not be criminalized and more of us need to standing up for the rights of sex workers

Casting agents that don't allow for body and gender diversity don't deserve their job
