Just because she’s built like a war machine, doesn’t mean she has to avoid the ballroom.

Saw some cool art featuring a giant hat and realised I’ve only done a few big hats before, desperately wanted todo one and it turned into a rather elegant design in the end (thankfully, I was worried she’d end up looking like a pimp lol). I was tempted to actually paint this up with proper Mechanicus imagery, but decided to make it a little bit ambiguous so I might be able to use her as an Inquisitor and for other games.

If you’re wondering about that obscenely bright red, I used Rogue Hobbies’ signature paintset with just a contrast red over the top, created enough depth while still keeping the vibrancy of her paint. The resin pieces are some super super cool assassins from Anvil Industry

Worked on another female space marine conversion from stormcast eternals.

I like these better than trying to modify a sister of battle because they're appropriate height for a marine, compared to a regular height human model.

They're just something I'm enjoying putting together, whether it becomes it's own detachment to take with my imperium army, or just something nice to have on the shelf.

Was putting this chaos marine together but kinda messed it up with the arms and pauldrons so the cape didnt fit but I'm gonna put on bits from a nighthaunt kit on the back.

Mangled this corpse and now gotta figure out how to chain it to the armour

Lorgar Aurelian, the Urizen

Finished painting my conversion of Lion El'Jonson into Lorgar Aurelian, in stylish post-Calth red.

I wanted to try out something new, so I gave him some underglow on the gorget with light reflections on the bottom of the face to represent his golden psychic aura. Hopefully that's turned out ok!

I also managed to get hold of a second gorget bit, so I've left the heads interchangable if I wanted to run him with a helmet

Transcendence can be quite lonely, the only thing like yourself in your own universe, waiting Eons for the next being to achieve what you have done.

This is a super wacky and insane kitbash, I had been watching the Dungeon in Delicious anime and I really liked the Mad Mage’s design and usage of his spell book, my friend was gonna kitbash something related to him as well so I thought I’d dig into one of my Frostgrave boxes for a book and give a go at it. For the painting I wanted to explicitly avoid all rules; no skin tones, things like leather or armour not to be painted as leather or armour, and to atleast incorporate silly spirals as a college mate of mine loves them. How I painted it kinda reminds me of that anciently cursed Ring point-and-click game.

I really enjoy kitbashing miniatures. Just taking a pile of junk parts and smashing them together to make something new and fun.

I had some mixed space marine, primaris, and Age of Sigmar stormcast eternal bits in a jumbled mix from a friend and thought "i bet I could make something with that"

This is what I put together today off stream:

I started with a stormcast body, trimmed off the shoulder pads, most of the lightning bolts, and made a mk X gravis helmet fit.

Then I found a right arm that I liked, so I needed to make something for the left side, but nothing really worked out.. so I got creative.

I grabbed some other little doodads, a 30k 2nd ed backpack, liberal application of pins and sprue goo later and I wound up with this:

I figure, this could be a stand alone, or maybe ill do some more stormcast conversions. it seems pretty viable.

Also, here's the new kitbash next to the inquisitor I've been working on for fun:

The first thing I did was change the sword I used parts from the myrmidesh painbringers and blissbarb archers kits from age of Sigmar and the head is from the chaos cultists from 40k he is the leader of my kill team. I’m working on haven’t figured out what to paint them yet but I’m thinking of something similar to the Emperor children

(This is a refurbish on a older scheme I did with this mini that was way way too muted, and so I added new details and color pop. As much...color pop as you can to a Knight Order that are the black on black Goths of Orders. )

Realised I hadn’t posted any shots of the completed Diorama.

“Scavengers” A Kroot warband scavenging the wreck of a damaged and abandoned Rogal Dorn battle tank.

This was a really fun project that had been sat in my head for nearly 2 years. It was a challenge learning all the military modelling techniques that I needed to get the tank looking like it had been burnt out by shell fire, then abandoned by the crew during a beach landing. Lots of inspiration from the Sherman’s abandoned on Saipan beach.

This was also my first proper resin pour so i decided to use a deep poor 72hr cure resin so I didn’t have to colour match the layers! The waves were then carved into the top using a grinding bit in my dremmel. Then some snow terrain paste to represent the breaking waves and a coat of gloss varnish.

I’m really happy with how this turned out and it’s taught me a lot I can use on future dioramas
