The quality of this drama is actually great. Wangquan arc couple! The son of the ZhuYe arc couple! The couple I posted before this.

I almost thought Cheng Yi is Pingqiu Yuechu because white hair. The actress for Qing Tong is the same actress for Kou Shuurei in Saiunkoku cdrama and the actor for Wangquan Fugui is an actor from Mysterious Lotus Casebook. Basically Cheng Yi's role is he's a human weapon created by his own parents to be a killing machine for yaoguai despite him being their own child that's why he has dead eyes in anime version. He's also Gong Jun's character cousin from mother side. And Li Yitong, the girl is a spider spirit. That's why there's a cocoon in the trailer? She has different forms in the anime but it seems she only has humanoid form in this drama? They are one of my fave supporting characters in the anime.

UPDATE:

This show must be one of the most paparazzi'd cdramas filming at the moment.

Once I opened Twitter there were a ton of pics and vids of Cheng Yi filming this scene.

Cheng Yi is eating this scene uppppp. His eyes say "Move or you will be moved". You really believe he's going to leave with her come hell or high water.

Also, kudos to Cheng Yi and Li Yitong for filming this over 2 days. I don't know how many hours he had to carry her in the cold and wet weather with the swords and fake blood. I hope he's fully recovered from his waist injury from filming Hero Legends.

The cdrama fans are going crazy on Weibo editing the footage adding voiceovers and background music. It looks like it's going to be amazing even if the resolution quality is potato level.
