Being everywhere

"I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list" sembra che abbia detto la scrittrice Susan Sontag (di cui ho molto apprezzato il saggio "L' AIDS e le sue metafore") e non potrei essere più d'accordo.

Viaggiare espande e moltiplica il tempo della propria vita, va vivere più vite in una sola, arricchisce la memoria, apre la mente a orizzonti e prospettive nuove e diverse. Viaggiare è una metafora della vita, è sì la ricerca di un impossibile altrove, ma senza di essa saremmo ben poco. Viaggiare tutto sommato è il nostro unico lusso.

Il viaggio inizia con la mente, nei luoghi sognati e desiderati, prosegue nella mente e nel copro quando il viaggio si incarna per poi continuare a vivere nella mente in memorie perenni. Questo è il lusso.

Sto provando a scrivere un blog di viaggio, non so dove mi porterà o come andrà a finire. "Wanderlust" era un titolo troppo ovvio ed abusato. Ho tentato con l'equivalente assonante inglese "Wanderlush", ma era già occupato, così come "Wanderlast" e alla fine ho trovato "Wanderloop", un po' meno bello dei precedenti, ma sempre eufonico e accattivante con la meravigliosa capacità di sintesi dei fonemi inglesi.
