I watched the grinch and wondered "how long would a year in whoville take in our time", bc they live in/on a snowflake and they probably all die once the snowflake hits the ground??

according to google a snowflake takes about an hour from cloud to earth (some say up to three hours but we are just gonna work with one hour) and in the grinch movie it was said, they are celebrating their 1.000th whobilation. so whowille is at least 1.000+ years old. let’s add like 500 years before that just for fun bc they probably didn’t start celebrating christmas right away when a society formed. and lets add another 500 years after the grinch movie took place. bc in the beginning of the movie their snowflake is up in the air and not close to the ground yet, immediate impact is not in the foreseeable future.

so 2.000 years in 60 minutes = a year in whovill is 0,03 seconds long

whoville is probably even older but urg whatever
