Dating can be challenging, yet Peter Parker has a variety of love interests thirsting after him at any given time. He shares his wooing wisdom by presenting the Spidey System.
Step 1: Spark Interest
Aggressively and awkwardly wear down your target.
Step 2: Peak Curiosity
Compell your target to seek you out.
Step 3: Investigate Physique
Wear something that leaves little to the imagination.
Step 4: Ditch Completely
The most essential step!
Leave your date with zero warning. It will leave them wanting more.
Step 5: Excuse Absence
Provide a bogus reason for wasting their time and expectations.
Step 6: Youthful Indiscretion
The immaturity will make you appear aloof. Allowing you to replicate the Spidey system again and again with the same targets.

So sometimes you’re just listening to a Spider-Man podcast while you clean your kitchen, and they’re talking about one of your favorite cartoon episodes - and then they just drop alternate dialogue that hits you with even more feels about a scene you were already full of feels about, and you just have to stop and lean on the kitchen counter and know that dialogue’s going to live in your head until you put it to paper. Y’know, hypothetically.
Anyway, this alternate scene from Marvel’s Spider-Man (2017) Spider-Island Part 5 brought to you by Walloping Websnappers walloping me in the dang feels.
Close ups and commentary under the cut
shout out to every artist who’s ever drawn the webs on spider-man’s suit, especially the mask, because whoo boy. i was going through it XD
pleased with Harry’s expression here.
tfw you’ve been totally focused on the crumb of praise your shitty dad gave you and trying not to let him down by keeping his work from being destroyed
and then, slamming onto the other side of the scale, is the reminder that your best friend loves you unconditionally, and what would hurt him most would be if you were destroyed
and your brain kind of bluescreens as the scale in your head swings wildly back and forth

Walloping Websnappers #51: “Sins of the Fathers”
It’s the shocking origin of Deus ex Ma-Karen! In the penultimate episode of Spider-Man Unlimited, we learn quite a bit about Karen and the High Evolutionary, spurring tons of questions about Counter-Earth and its ruler’s plans. It also spurs the biggest disagreement this podcast has ever seen!

Great Games Played Poorly - Marvel's Spider-man (Part1)
WALLOPING' WEBSNAPPERS!!
It's swing time with your friendly neighborhood wall crawler: It's Marvel's Spider-Man!
This part is filled with various tales of random things like Early 80s Marvel Made-for-TV movies/TV shows, the various HULK made-for-TV films and the little well known Wonder Woman Pilot that had nothing to do with her Original Comic Book Origins.
Just another day of useless random ramblings from a totally random guy, on this Episode of Great Games Played Poorly.

Walloping Websnappers #43: "Deadly Choices"
Walloping Websnappers #43: “Deadly Choices”
Cool-bandage-dude is in the spotlight! We learn the tragic backstory of Git Hoskins, a character with bizarre hair but an incredibly creative superpower. Cool! We also learn that he stole a deadly virus (!!) that is apparently also a neutron bomb (!!!). Not cool! As the beastials and humans are forced to work together, we get an almost-great episode exploring the parallels between these two…

Walloping Websnappers #35: "The Final Nightmare"
Walloping Websnappers #35: “The Final Nightmare”
The Neogenic Nightmare ends with the worst nightmare of all — being a senior citizen, apparently! But there’s plenty of the body horror we’ve come to expect as Scorpion, Lizard, and Vulture all butt heads over those pesky neogenics. Plus, Peter gets an unexpected “cure” for his disease, and we take an overall look at this weird, inventive season. “You’ll never see meeee agaaaaaain…”

Walloping Websnappers #4: “Mysterio, Scorpion, and Kraven Walk into a Bar…”
We’ve got three back-to-back standalone villain episodes, but they’re far from “filler”!
New York goes gaga over their very unheroic new hero Mysterio, J. Jonah Jameson literally creates a monster in Scorpion, and everyone is a slave to their animal instincts when Kraven comes to town.
Prepare for animatronics, body horror, and jungle drums galore in Spider-Man: The Animated Series episod…

Walloping Websnappers #156: "Hobgoblin, Part Two"
Walloping Websnappers #156: “Hobgoblin, Part Two”
The first season of Spider-Man (2017) comes to a close with an episode that proves once and for all that Harry Osborn was the real main character all along, and we dive deep into how his story accurately portrays gaslighting. We also discuss how the show has changed since its debut (and why it may have to do with a departing showrunner), the missteps with Miles and Uncle Ben, another great “If…

The Sinister Six fully debuts, featuring its newest member… Spider-Man?! The first season finale of Spider-Man (2017) begins with wall-to-wall action and great animation, a neat reinvention of Steel Spider, and a surprisingly heroic entrance for Harry Osborn as Hobgoblin.
