The really funny thing about AC6 is it does a fantastic job in-universe of justifying its CQC Core Theory ie why are we fighting in giant punchy robots when we could be sniping each other from around the curvature of the planet

For the first 3 chapters of the game, if any fight escalates more than a few hundred meters above the surface the PCA says

"I don't care who started it," and glasses everyone from orbit

The 4th chapter is an entirely-self contained dungeon dive, no air support or artillery allowed

And the final chapter not only goes off the rails in general but for some missions has some conventional warfare going on in the background while you complete specific missions that call for fast punchy robot

It's really well done and feels a lot more fleshed out than "Minovsky Particles," although there's nothing wrong with a simple solution in some stories.

I just really enjoy how it feels like the focal point of ACs develops organically from the world itself and the way conflict develops in this universe

im thinking abt the animals interacting w electromagnetic fields ask and ough... erik being an Animal Guy. erik and charles at the store and erik is just holding a plush of a shark or smthn and charles is like erik darling we have 5 already. they go to the zoo for a date and erik just stands there menacingly while staring at the animals (he is thinking abt how he would go about freeing the animals)

charles gonna find erik missing from the mansion one morning and he's gonna flip on the news to find out Magneto™️'s terrorizing seaworld and letting all the aquatic life out

Vaguely trying to imagine what Vox's room at the hotel would look like. He's not in there very often, so it's mostly just the standard look, but it's also where he dumps all the things he deicides he wants to hold on to. Weird little bug creations Niffty’s made for him, random pieces of technology from his work with Pentious, fidget toys that he keeps forgetting to return to the group therapy box... It's very messy and most of the stuff just sits there, untouched, but it's undeniably his.

a variety of mage sisters related doodles. i was going to post these when they were Finished but i changed laptops sometime ago and have been unable to find the files (they're definitely there Somewhere on my computer. Somewhere)

the houses were intended to be for a comic, which i might still do but why not post them anyways. if anyone can competently read my handwriting you get to enjoy the details of each of their houses

usually with mage sisters gijinkas i've found people clothe them as if their element is the climate they live in (francisca dresses like someone who would live somewhere cold, with furs and layers, and flamberge dresses like someone who would live somewhere hot, with more airy/breathable clothing). i wanted to go the opposite direction, with the mages embracing being their element. i thought flam would love to feel like a furnace at all times, while fran would be the one with more airy elements. zan isn't here, but she has some armor and large metal jewelry in order to conduct her electricity through her. i used the same thought process when designing their houses (flam lives in a big oven, fran lives in a big freezer, zan always has an electric flow running through her metal floorboards)
