#okay so #I am accepting my dream (attorney) job #bc they got back to me after months and my current job is honestly a waking nightmare #but i have ISSUES and so the course of making this decision meant Bad Brain #so I have an enormous amount of work to do for current job today and tonight #to make up for what I didn’t do over 5 days #and now current job is…..very mad at me #idk if that will make them more or less mad at me when I tell them on Monday that I’m giving two weeks’ notice #everyone cross your fingers for me that I make it through the next 96 hours #personal

#found out i’m getting a roommate (moving in monday) and objectively that is a good thing it means i’ll be having human interactions more #but i just got hit with exhaustion when i read the email #i’m gonna have to condense all my stuff to one side of the room again….and be quiet when i wake up at 5am…..#they should ask you what your sleeping habits are before deciding to put someone in your room halfway through your semester #my old roommate hated how early i got up and it’s really inconvenient for both parties

well, boss was reminded that Halloween is next week and we should do something fun, and now there's debate over whether we do it Monday (when one girl is away) or if we should come into the office on Tuesday, which like. yay fun party times or whatever, but also I had VERY IMPORTANT PLANS* on Halloween and I wanted to work from home :(

#*making chilli and watching horror movies #granted i guess i could make the chilli monday. or wake up super early and start it before work #i don't THINK the slow cooker will combust...#but bleh. i wanted a chill Halloween #there was a suggestion to do a post-halloween 'steal your children's candy and bring it to work' thing and i approve of that #ah well boss is apparently going to let us vote on it so hopefully we don't end up coming in tuesday #also 3 office days in a row is BRUTAL
