Blackberry Cobbler Waffles are a tasty take on regular waffles. They have sweet blackberries and a hint of vanilla. Great for brunch on the weekend or as a special treat!
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 cup buttermilk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 large egg. 1 cup fresh blackberries. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Cooking spray or additional melted butter for waffle iron.
Instructions: Follow the directions that came with your waffle iron to get it hot. Mix the sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl with a whisk. Start by beating the egg in a different bowl. Then add the buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract and mix them together. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed. Don't mix it too much; a few lumps are fine. Add the fresh blackberries to the batter slowly. To keep things from sticking, lightly grease the waffle iron with cooking spray or melted butter. Pour just the right amount of batter onto the waffle iron's grid to cover it, but don't put too much on there or it will overflow. Put the lid back on and cook the waffles until they are crisp and golden brown. To serve, carefully take the waffles out of the iron and top them with your favorite things, like a scoop of vanilla ice cream, more fresh blackberries, and a drizzle of maple syrup.

Instructions: Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
