maybe it was a mistake to stake this blog on a crossover fic when that inherently has a tinier audience than non-crossover content. I had ideas floating around for pure TAWOG content (like the story that would eventually become pfffs) and also pure GF content. like I have a ton of ideas for my own take on a monster AU entirely separate from classical monster falls. a few highlights: dipper would be a sasquatch in it. stan's a shapeshifter. ford's invisible, which you probably think isn't a monster, but then how come there's one in Hotel Transylvania, huh? anyway,

they don't have a complicated backstory or anything, but they are some of the first cases of Dark Matter-possessed Waddle Dees (before Kirby came rolling in, so unfortunately they were unable to be saved)

Whenever there's a cartoon episode where characters switch bodies, they always keep their voices. And I get that its a shorthand for the fact that characters did switch bodies.

I just wish that they also swapped voices when they switch bodies. It would be fun to hear the voice actors play the each others characters.

More Gravity Falls AU art!

Swap!Dipper and Swap!Mabel arriving at Gravity falls at the start of the summer and swap!Mabel reading the journal with Waddles. (Wobbles? Bobbles? Should I name the goat something else if I’m swapping it with Waddles?)

Headcanon the niblings have never been to GF before but Ford comes around for holidays and such and he’s their favorite relative. He loves the kids’ creative spirit and curiosity and is subtly trying to get Mabel to really pursue science.

Stanley wrote the journals so they’re not exactly scientific (and they’re low key full of cuss words) but they still list most/all of the anomalies in the area and Mabel wants to learn about them. Also yea it’s a nice looking rich blue journal, he kept trying to use scratch paper and regular notebooks but they kept getting torn apart during ✨anomaly drama✨ so he finally cracked and got fancy sturdy ones.

Then I see it's been (Edit: OMG I GOT IT SOOO WRONG I'M SO SORRY) ALMOST 2 years since @jojo-schmo showed her roleswap AU! Which congrats!! I love your artwork so much it's just so iconic and it screams "omg hey that's jojos!!!" in the BEST way possible!!!
