Let's give the US Sonic CD soundtrack some love today!

Both the good and bad futures of Wacky Workbench have a cool factory background churn going on in them--produced by actual samples and vocal samples. The repeated guitar melody, then going into a heavier guitar comping is very cool, washed by the synths and the bell hits. There is a lot of synth work in the background that's subtle, but does a lot of heavy lifting. The walk up before the turnaround, the little "wahs"--they all add up to make it all very full. It's a groovy track and easy to get lost in!

Today, I visited the Wacky Workbench Zone, and let me tell you, it was wackier than I could have ever imagined! The place was filled with moving parts, machinery, and other things that made my head spin. I felt like I was in a giant pinball machine!

But the real kicker was the badniks in that zone. My personal favorite was the Spring Shell badnik. This thing was shaped like a ball, and it had a spring for a tail. It could bounce around like crazy, and it even had spikes to protect itself. I think I might have to mass-produce these bad boys and add them to my army.

Of course, there were other badniks in the zone too. There was the Rattlekiller, which was shaped like a rattle and had the ability to shake the ground. Then there was the Zaptrap, which was a flying badnik that could shoot lightning bolts. But let's be real, the Spring Shell was the real MVP.

Overall, the Wacky Workbench Zone was a fun experience, but I'm not sure I'll be visiting it again anytime soon. My head is still spinning from all the craziness!
