Does your OC appreciate patterns on their clothing? Or even designs such as flowers or animals? Or would they prefer something a little plainer?

Dusk is extremely boring in this regard, in that he doesn't think about it at all. He'll notice if there are patterns on something he's thinking of buying, but it doesn't generally nudge him one way or the other, certainly not consciously. If he actually looked over his wardrobe with it in mind, though, he'd have to concede he doesn't seem to be one for obvious patterns. The loudest he gets seems to be a brocade vest every now and again. Even that has to be subtle, though, the Dawntrail weaver suit being a good example of what I mean:

Otherwise he seems to prefer plainer things with little embroidered flourishes or interesting stitching to keep it from being outright boring.

Basically, he's not opposed to patterns, they just never really speak to him as something to go out of his way to wear.

Well, I acknowledge that you did things. I didn't exactly watch all of it. I watched very little. Almost none of it. I'm pretty sure you can take a guess what I did watch.

I can't see your face without thinking that's my fucking best friend and I hate him so much but I miss him. Rocks has crazy down, but he can't compete with our deranged adventures.

In canon universe vignette where Loid has to go undercover at a government party for Spy Reasons. His assignment asks him to look like a non specific who is supposed to be unassuming while at the same time being beautiful, mysterious and unexpectedly charming.

Only he's distracted while he's preparing, family life/Operation strix keeping him busy, so he's just kind of putting together his disguise by muscle memory, so he doesn't realise until he's freshening up on the bathroom at the event that he managed to create a look that is eerily similar to Yor, like "could be her long lost sister"- similar

So while he's agonising about how this could have happened (mhmmm let's take a GUESS loid) he realises that this is not going to stay a private embarrassment because Yuri is at the party and he keeps sending him longing, smitten looks and oh god he's coming right here stay in character Twilight
