So I got this idea of an Idia Reader who is an overlord (making some high tech prosthetic or another things that Vox himself can’t make easily) and forced to go attend an overlord meeting and imagine the panic attack he would have if Alastor or worse Valentino interacted with them.
Probably locks themselves in a their room for three months after the meeting.
Gender : GN
Pronouns : None
Message of Raccoon : I can just imagine Vox and Idia!Reader being two bestfriends that have rivalry for fun.
Info : Idia!Reader being an overlord in the Vees.
General Headcanon
You were one of the Overlords of the Vees.
But compared to the others, you didn't like the attention.
The recluse of the Vees, that's who you were.
You hated leaving your room, preferring to use your tablet to see/talk with others.
But one day, you were forced to show up at one of the Overlords meetings. Irl.
When you entered the room, all the overlords asked you who you were.
"Who are you ?" -Carmilla.
"The one who almost doxxed all of you. Idia!Reader." -you, already wanting to go back to your room.
It was the first time they saw you, like really saw you. Not through a tablet, but irl.
You sat between Rosie and Alastor, a mistake.
The two kept talking and adding you into the conversation. You wanted to die again.
They were nice and polite, yes, but you didn't like socializing. You preferred solitude and calm to having to socialize.
You regretted having taken this place instead of putting yourself next to Zestial, who is calm and silent.
"Oh ! Did you hear about what Jack did ?" -Rosie.
“No, what did he do ?”-Alastor.
"He fucked his wife's sister, then ate the said sister. His wife found him and then ate Jack." -Idia!Reader.
If there was tea, it would have been perfect.
Carmilla give you a look that can be translated as "Good luck, we're not together."
You will doxx her later as punishment for not helping you.
The meeting was pretty good, except for the moment you had to talk and socialize.
Your social anxiety suffered greatly during this meeting.
When you entered the Vees tower, you wanted to go to your room but the others Vees stopped you.
Valentino and Velvette congratulated you for coming out of your shithole room.
But you know what was the worst ? When Vox saw you, he asked why you had placed yourself next to his enemy, Alastor.
Vox gave you an hour-long lecture on why what you did was wrong.
You just wanted to stay cooped up in your room for the rest of the eternity.
But you couldn't.
Why ? Because Rosie and Alastor have come for you.
Apparently you have become their friends, without your consent.
Once a week you had to go out and spend time with Alastor and/or Rosie.
And you couldn't even run away because the two always know where to find you.
You are gossip friends. I will not accept otherwise.
You have the pass to touch Alastor. You use it to touch his ears because DEER EAR !!
You do the same with his tail, because DEER TAIL !!! (He tries to hide his tail from you)
I headcanon that you have a picture with you, Rosie and Alastor on it.
Let's pretend you were there during the meeting about the angel.
…
Carmilla paid you $3000 (or whatever the money is in hell) for not talking about her killing an angel.
You took the money before telling to Rosie and Alastor everything.
If she ever finds out, you're dead, but don't worry, it was worth it.
I headcanon that your hair (or at least a part of your hair) is made of fire, and that the Vees, Alastor and Rosie want to touch it.
Alastor and Rosie love seeing your hair changing its colors depending on your emotions, it always betrays you and they find it amusing.
Alastor using the Aromantic charm on you to see you get frustrated and see your hair changing its color is canon.
Alastor has already brought you to the Hazbin Hotel..
When I say that you said what you thought out loud and you were brutal with your words, I don't think you realize how much that was-
You were banned from the hotel by Vaggie while Alastor was just watching and laughing.
You felt hurt, betrayed by your friend.
“Oh yeah, that’s how it is now, every man for himself.”

Had an idea for a fanfic writer AU. Alastor writes fucked up gore fics and maybe has a reputation for doxxing (idk how to translate the overlord murders into fandom drama terms). Vox writes ships between OCs that are transparently a self insert and a thinly veiled Alastor. That's as far as I got
stop this is hysterical. you make the mistake of sending alastor anon hate and he responds with nothing but your IP address and a pixelated photo of your bedroom window. vox has been lowkey trying to get alastor to doxx him for years but alastor just deletes all his provocative asks without reading them

Current Happenings in the SelfAware Blogs AU Community (1/27/25)
@mammoncritical gets hacked by Vox and was temporarily turned in voxcritical
Vox starts beef with @zestialcriticizes and @lamentedwaters2 while goading @soberedupcatcritises on with promises of harming @nyxcriticizes, @mammoncritical still is nowhere around.
@zestialcriticizes goes radio silent not entertaining the flatscreenasshats behavior, while @angelcritizes jumps in. Vox attempts to poorly doxx @zestialcriticizes but faildoxes because people already know who the overlord is.
Vox spends most of his time trolling with bad Gen Alpha insults before releasing @mammoncritical's account from being a hostage. Vox threatens @soberedupcatcritises to fight him at a waffle house bare handed and the cat agrees, @mammoncritical gets his account back.
@mammoncritical goes off on the fact he's been hacked and looses it, he proceeds to send charged blogs before answering asks, turns out he ran to @stellacriticizes to ask for her help in jumping Vox as well as having several other people beat Vox up.
Next time on SelfAware AU...
World War Hazbin with Vox being the OP.

Tournament Poll: The F in FMK (2024)
The next tournament, "Most Marriageable Hellaverse Character", will start...
I was originally going to say next monday, but realistically Round 1 will probably start this upcoming Friday (September 20th) and continue until next Monday (September 23rd). Because Round 1, as we all know, is the biggest round with the most matches.
and the winner of “Most Fuckable Hellaverse Character” (2024) is…
Lucifer Morningstar
to celebrate, here’s a picture of an apple i made in paint 3d
In summary
Most Fuckable Hellaverse Character: Lucifer Morningstar
Most Fuckable Male Hellaverse Character:
Lucifer Morningstar (1st Place)
Vox (2nd Place)
Asmodeus, Blitzo Buckzo (3rd Place)
Most Fuckable Female Hellaverse Character:
Verosika Mayday (1st Place)
Mildred “Millie” Knolastname (2nd Place)
Carmilla Carmine, Vaggie (3rd Place)
================================================
TLDR: Round 1 polls for the "most fuckable hellaverse character" poll tournament will start being posted from Friday (tomorrow) to Monday. The competitors were decided based on the rules specified in my last pinned post. Below will be voting rules and links to each poll in the tournament (once they're posted).
EDIT: Rounds 4-6 will START on Mondays instead of taking over the whole weekend. Once Round 6 is over and the ultimate winner is determined, we'll allow the winners a week of victory before moving onto the "Most Marriageable Hellaverse Character" poll tournament.
VOTING RULES (under read more):
Feel free to spread as much propaganda for your choice as you like if that's your thing, as long as you remember the following:
- Please Don't Threaten/Promise to Compromise the Safety of Yourself or Others (Example: "If [x] doesn't win I will shoot myself", "If you don't vote for [y] I'm going to doxx you", etc.). I cannot imagine anyone actually getting heated enough to do this, but if you're thinking about it, please don't :)
- Please try to avoid being racist/transphobic/etc in your propaganda (and like in general, but here is a good start).
- Please try to avoid writing anything extremely graphic (read: "Dead Dove: Do Not Eat" levels of shit).
I'd appreciate it if we could avoid bot-spamming in the votes.
Not really expecting that these rules will be needed, but I always like to be cautious. If anyone has more rules they'd like to suggest, feel free to leave them in the comments.
I also came up with a "gun to your head" style scenario for this tournament if that makes the voting process easier for people that want to vote but aren't really sexually attracted to any of the characters.
SCENARIO:
You have been trapped in a room SAW-style and cannot leave until you fuck one of the competitors listed. You are choosing who would be the most fuckable character in this scenario. They don't have to be the most attractive, just the one you're the MOST willing to have sex with in order to leave this room. Also the definition of "sex" in this context is fluid, it would be whatever method you feel the most comfortable with.

The thing that really gets me about Elira's stream is that she said MANAGEMENT told them there was a risk of their personal information getting out there and them getting doxxed. There's a few things about that that just don't sit right with me.
1.) You cannot condemn someone for a doxxing that didn't happen, especially if you don't have proof that they were planning on doing so. Collecting information for legal is standard, not shady. So this was 100% meant to paint Selen/Doki as someone who is vindictive, by saying she *could* dox them. Even if she hasn't. Even if she wasn't planning on it.
2.) This tells me that management was intentionally fear mongering. Intentionally riling up the other livers. Either to get them to act out, or to isolate either party. Somethings fishy about that.
3.) This... this feels like classic union busting tactics. I know they're not trying to unionize, but union busting tactics can also be used in situations like these. Which just makes anycolor look worse imo
Agreed! The fact that the company told the livers that she could doxx them is crazy, especially since they were never meant to see those documents in the first place. And I find it surprising that despite the repeated statements from Doki stating that she did not want this to be public, they keep dragging her back into it.
Yup, and I've also heard about how Vox has been doing mentally and this to me feels like a textbook play to get him especially to act out. And given his reputation and previous actions, they were betting on that.
It wouldn't surprise me if this is what they're doing. They're actively breaking the morale of their livers and it seems to be working well enough from the outside. However, I also think they underestimate some of their liver's ability to take bullshit.
In general, I don't think ANYCOLOR realized how anti-corporate a good chunk of their English-speaking audience was and quite frankly, it's a disaster every time they try to do something else after the initial precedent of the termination letter.
I don't see this issue going away anytime soon and quite frankly, I no longer think it should. This is the final nail in the coffin for this branch and if it withers and dies, then I suppose it does.

i want to hear you talk about parasocial relationships if you feel up to it
Sure! I can totally talk about parasocial relationships. Just keep in mind, I am in no way an expert and most of what I talk about is a culmination of what I have witnessed and information I have gathered from videos covering the topic. If you want to learn more, there are plenty of more qualified people discussing the topic out there.
Also as a warning, this isn’t going to be very structured, it’s just kind of me rambling and going off on whatever tangent my brain takes me.
Parasocial relationships are essentially a one sided relationship with someone you don’t actually know. It can extend to any sort of celebrity, content creator, or even fictional character.
It’s near impossible not to develop one nowadays with how widespread the internet and fan culture is. I’ve mentioned this before, but I think the growth in popularity of streaming in particular has contributed to the boom in parasocial relationships. People can now interact directly with people they deep as popular or ‘famous’ in some regard.
Now, I’m definitely not saying that’s a bad thing. Parasocial relationships can allow you to form a community of fans and get to know people with similar interests. Feeling that sense of belonging is very important. I’ve just had my share of parasocial relationships, some of them even bordering on unhealthy for myself, so I’m a big advocate for learning to recognize when your parasocial relationship is bordering on unhealthy.
I feel like whenever you get invested in a person online, whether it’s a streamer or even someone on social media, it’s important to take a step back and remind yourself that you don’t really know them and they don’t really know you.
I’ve seen too many horror stories of fans believing they’re owed something because they gave something (whether it be time, money, or gifts) to someone they adore.
As an example, one of the worse things I’ve seen has been in the VTuber community- Vox Akuma from Nijisanji in particular. I’m not super into the VTuber community, so apologies if I get something wrong. This is entirely an outsider’s perspective from what I have seen.
Vox had somewhat suggestive content in the past along with ‘boyfriend experiences’. (I believe some things like his ASMRs have now been deleted). As a result, he drew a crowd that wanted that content. Unfortunately, many grew possessive of him, even attacking many of his fellow VTubers and friends for even speaking to him.
Another one that I still have Vietnam flashbacks from was the boom of Dream stans several years ago with the dramatic growth in popularity of the Dream SMP. (Absolute no hate to Dream stans btw, I’m just calling out the toxic ones (: ). This one was definitely more mainstream than the VTuber example, at least from what I’ve seen. The ‘Dreamsexuals’, the obsession with knowing Dream’s face, the incessant shipping of him with his friends, and much more. I don’t really want to touch the scandals that have revolved around that group, but it’s filled with toxic parasocial relationships.
The last one that I’ll touch on is one I have much more personal experience with, because one of my best friends is in the community. Taylor Swift. (Please do not doxx me ty, I am a simple guy /j). I’ve seen quite a few unhealthy parasocial relationships revolving around her. Many people are so invested in her life, obsessing over her relationships, deciphering her music, and genuinely considering her like a best friend. Being a fan of her is great! Have fun, enjoy her music, it is really good. It’s just the digging into her life, even competing over who knows more of her personal information, it’s really…odd. It’s important to remember these are real people and they’re not your best friends.
There are many, many more examples I could list just from what I’ve seen. I usually don’t pay much attention to celebrity’s lives and I rarely watch streamers. These are just things I’ve heard and witnessed from more popular content creators.
There’s also the point that it doesn’t have to be a real person to be a parasocial relationship! Getting obsessive over a character can be unhealthy for you and fellow fans of that character. One of the more extreme examples I can think of is Sans fangirls (One again, only calling out the toxic ones, a lot of them are chill). Also no specific examples, but generally anyone that attacks another person for enjoying a different ship or not subscribing to their personal headcanon about a character. There’s people on every fandom, I’m sure you know of one.
Enjoying characters and content creators is great! Even obsessing over them can be fun (everyone knows I have experience with that lmao). It’s just important to check yourself on occasion, make sure what you’re doing isn’t potentially harming the creator, your fellow fans, or even yourself.
This topic is honestly fascinating for me to explore. Dynamics between fans and creators have changed quite a bit now that people have more access to each other and it’s important to recognize and explore them.
Please let me know if you have any comments or corrections about any of these topics! I’d love to know what others think and maybe their own perspectives.
I’m gonna go study for my calc test now 🫠

Glit takes his cat shape, sidles up to him, and bunts his head againt Max's leg, then jumps up on the examination berth beside him. "What if we sent both reports, together, to all of the relevant parties? The three living Primes, the two Protectors, the Emperor, Minimus Ambus, Ratchet because he will surely see it anyway, and the Council of Worlds? I wonder what Windblade might say." His tail curls around his feet.
"He didn't say it was classified. That would have involved answering one of our questions. You could post about it on Autobuddies or call a reporter from Vox Cybertron; they're always looking for clickbait. Then I could post the VC story to the Big Conversation without breaking the TOS. It's a TOS violation to doxx anyone on the BC, including yourself."
For once, Prowl had forgot to say the two magic words that might have been able to shut them up, at least for a while.
Glit figured that meant he knew he was doing something wrong.
"That makes sense." Glit sighed. "You know, you were born into the war, but so were other people, and because of where they got born, they're as scared of Autobots as you were of Decepticons. If we want the war to stay over, we're going to have to forget about badges and look at each other as people."
He poured each of them a cube of colourless medical-grade energon.
"Everyone has a story. My sisters and I were part of a military project that lost its funding. They sold us right along with the office furniture. I hate the government of that era more than you can possibly imagine. I don't regret joining the Decepticons. What I regret, as do a lot of other people, is not figuring out that Megatron was off the rails when we could still stop him. If he'd quit when we had control of Cybertron, and most of the colonies, it really would have been rough for everyone for a while, but it would have been fine in the end."

i think a lot of new fans need to realize that their vtuber faves are adults and dont need to be babied and whatever personal issues they have with their coworkers is most likely handled behind the scenes like we're not entitled to everything they talk about
late to answer this (as per usual, the manner by which i bounce through my inbox is an enigma to all, especially myself) but god literally... i feel like this has especially been an issue lately in the post-luxiem vtuber world bc luxiem ofc brought tons of new fans to the vtubing community-- which is a good thing! I'm happy there's lots of new people getting into vtubers (i've been watching since september 2020, first stream i ever watched was some ina/gura dead by daylight collab iirc) but sometimes it feels like people forget the original point of vtubing-- to be able to stream with a "second face" to maintain some level of privacy and, as a result, a lot of people who may be more used to irl streamers may be kinda surprised by the added layer of privacy in vtuber communities and whatnot. i guess that's why so many people immediately jump to doxxing when a vtuber does something wrong (ie the mysta genshin issue); because it's much more impactful to doxx someone's appearance when they're actively hiding it unlike, say, pewdiepie streaming just as himself.
and the infantilization is so ANNOYING i vividly remember that one time vox kinda snapped at his viewers and said that he knows what his limits are and when he needs to end a stream (in response to everyone asking him to take a break or saying maybe he should be done for the day) and i think w vox specifically, this sorta thing really sticks out bc, well... anyone who's watched more than a single stream of his knows that he's really not the best at taking care of himself (I CAN SAVE HIM). he's definitely in the right for telling people to fuck off and stop babysitting him bc he's an adult man, but he himself acknowledges that taking care of himself is hard so it's pretty easy to see why kindred are so desperate to remind him he needs a break and such. it's a funny balance, i guess? how do you help remind someone who admittedly has problems taking care of himself to do that? is it any of our business anyways? should we worry when vox says he hasn't gone grocery shopping in 2-3 weeks???? (yes)
i guess in general vtuber fans should remember that even though they have issues-- just as we all do as adults and real people ourselves-- what happens in their lives outside of vtubing is only as much our business as they say it is. the only stuff that's our business is what vox tells us himself and we don't need to manage his friendships for him (i think anyone who sent/posted hate about reimu during that Incident should go to hell) bc he can do it himself

YouTube says homophobic taunts don’t violate its policies
YouTube is a confusing mess of an internet platform. In what appears to be a moment that draws a line in the sand around how online platforms regulate content, YouTube has told a gay reporter that homophobic harassment he received from a prominent conservative channel does not violate its policies.
The company told Vox reporter Carlos Maza that comments from Steven Crowder, who has over 3.8 million subscribers, that focused on his sexuality and ethnicity are within its rules. The Google-owned video platform, which claims two billion monthly users, said on Twitter that it spent “the last few days” looking into a complaint lodged by Maza, who alleges that Crowder taunted him with racist and homophobic comments.
Yet, despite admitting that Crowder used “language that was clearly hurtful,” the company said that the show has acted within its boundaries. That means the videos remain on the site, and Crowder’s channel will not be punished.
(1/4) Thanks again for taking the time to share all of this information with us. We take allegations of harassment very seriously–we know this is important and impacts a lot of people.
— TeamYouTube (@TeamYouTube) June 4, 2019
Here’s what the company told Maza on Twitter in full:
(1/4) Thanks again for taking the time to share all of this information with us. We take allegations of harassment very seriously–we know this is important and impacts a lot of people.
(2/4) Our teams spent the last few days conducting an in-depth review of the videos flagged to us, and while we found language that was clearly hurtful, the videos as posted don’t violate our policies. We’ve included more info below to explain this decision:
(3/4) As an open platform, it’s crucial for us to allow everyone–from creators to journalists to late-night TV hosts–to express their opinions w/in the scope of our policies. Opinions can be deeply offensive, but if they don’t violate our policies, they’ll remain on our site.
(4/4) Even if a video remains on our site, it doesn’t mean we endorse/support that viewpoint.
There are other aspects of the channel that we’re still evaluating– we’ll be in touch with any further updates.
When contacted for comment, YouTube referred TechCrunch to its tweets but it did additional color. A spokesperson said that Crowder had asked viewers not to harass Maza, while it said that the YouTube host had not revealed his personal information.
That is true but, in a sign of the complexities around online communities, Crowder fans did doxx Maza last year. That resulted in a barrage of messages demanding that the Vox reporter “debate” with Crowder.
“It makes life sort of miserable. I waste a lot of time blocking abusive Crowder fanboys, and this shit derails your mental health,” wrote Maza.
Crowder, meanwhile, couched the situation as being about a larger battle between established media, such as Vox, and independent creators like his channel.
“This isn’t about me versus some guy at Vox. This is an example of a giant corporate media entity trying to silence voices that they don’t like,” he said in a video published on May 31.
“This is David versus Goliath,” he added.
Steven Crowder’s ‘Louder With Crowder’ YouTube show is approaching four million subscribers
The YouTuber admitted making comments that reference Maza’s sexuality and race — which include “the gay Latino host at Vox” and “lispy queer” — but he dismissed them as “friendly ribbing.” Crowder argued that because Maza identifies as Latino and gay on the internet — his Twitter handle is @gaywonk, for example — it is just “harmless” banter.
Beyond comments, Crowder also sells a range of merchandise, including t-shirts, which generate revenue for the YouTube Channel. The collection includes t-shirts that are labeled “Socialism Is For Fgs” — indeed that slogan has been adapted by Crowder fans to read “Carlos Maza Is A Fg,” as Maza himself has pointed out.
Crowder’s online store is powered by Shopify, which outlaws its service being used for “hateful content,” including discrimination based on sexual orientation, according to its terms and conditions.
TechCrunch has contacted Shopify for comment.

Despite Crowder’s claims of victimization, clips shared by Maza paint a different picture of the rhetoric used on his show.
Some choice quotes from Crowder include: “You’re being given a free pass as a crappy writer because you’re gay,” and a number of derogatory references to his ethnicity.
Since I started working at Vox, Steven Crowder has been making video after video "debunking" Strikethrough. Every single video has included repeated, overt attacks on my sexual orientation and ethnicity. Here's a sample: pic.twitter.com/UReCcQ2Elj

“These videos get millions of views on YouTube. Every time one gets posted, I wake up to a wall of homophobic/racist abuse on Instagram and Twitter,” Maza said.
The kicker for this, however, is that YouTube calls Crowder’s comments “clearly hurtful” and that’s an exact term used within its harassment and cyberbullying policy. According to that policy, “content that makes hurtful and negative personal comments/videos about another person” will be removed with the channel owner warned. YouTube’s three-strike rule then comes into effect for channels.

It is not clear how or why YouTube did not take action based on that policy breach.
YouTube did not respond to a request for clarification.
This episode appears to mark a crisis moment for YouTube, as it continues to grapple with the demands of policing its service, particularly since it has become the go-to place for “far right” figures like Crowder to connect with their audience. Despite some in that community claiming YouTube, and other internet companies, are biased against them, Maza maintains that Crowder’s large following and conservative focus is precisely why YouTube is not taking action.
In an April interview with the New York Times, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki said the company would lessen its focus on juicing numbers and generating revenue to instead focused on “responsible growth.”
“To boil it down: YouTube wants to remove the content that violates its policies more quickly and effectively; promote better, more authoritative material and limit the spread of videos that are potentially harmful but do not break the rules,” the Times wrote.
Despite the soundbites, there’s little evidence that Wojcicki can deliver on that promise.

Hey! We don’t know everything, but I do know some.
nomapexposure is a user who was on numerous MAP related platforms (some Instagram stuff, something called nni?) This used called out, specifically, three users: guided-to-madness, vox-collective, and chronic-venting as being MAPs. I’m less sure on guided, as I’ve had them blocked due to drama a few months back, but I do know about vox and chronic.
Nomap Post: https://nomapexposure.tumblr.com/post/673464353730740224/nomap-exposure-1-ive-hidden-on-one-of-the-most
this also included Doxxing, the act of giving someone’s private information publicly. Nomap gave out these people’s real names and locations. Vox has also been called Samantha in many posts, and Guided was directly doxxed here (I know I saw a doxx post for Vox, but cannot find it now): https://nomap-exposure.tumblr.com/post/673470907091746816/most-of-the-information-on-guided-to-madness-is
Vox was 17 at the time of the callout by Nomap, and had just posted something on their blog that littles could be in in-system relationships with adults, because “they’re the same person.” Vox was also vocal about being a CSA abuse survivor themselves. The callout post by Nomap, as well as the post Vox made, led to many anonymous messages sent to Vox, as well as direct messages from numerous users on Tumblr and in the DID community, telling Vox they should die. (shout out to those who called out this bullshit) This was on a post where Vox said (Paraphrasing) that all the callout did was make them want to kill themselves.

Where we are now:
Vox has not posted again, and Chronic Venting has stated that Vox killed themselves.
https://chronic-venting.tumblr.com/post/673642777169608704/how-do-you-know-vox-is-dead
Chronic (15, and afaik not a major player in the OSDDID community) is now also getting harassment on their own blog. Pictures below are INCREDIBLY graphic, be warned:

Guided-to-Madness created a secondary blog as the first was banned. I will not link it here as I’m hoping to reduce harassment on these people (not saying I agree with them, but as evidenced above, people can’t behave on the internet.)
Nomapexposure has gone silent and was reportedly kicked off of NIAA (whatever that is). However, their callout for Vox was labeled as “Exposure #1”, meaning they intend to do more. hope this helps!
Hey Niephs and Niblings!
I hate to draw any attention to major drama I am not involved in, but in the interest of an ask I have I have a question:
Does anyone have the full story on the Vox-Collective Drama? I do have a basic picture of what's gone on but if anyone has the full story, INCLUDING what's happened to them, I would deeply appreciate being filled it.
Thanks in advance!
