Controversial take but IDGAF so here it is: if you stand for a woman's right to choose but won't vote for Biden because of how his administration is handling the Gaza/Palestine situation, AND also worried that Trump "will win in a landslide in Nov", get your vapid head out of your single-issue voting ass. Only one Presidential candidate this year will work to protect women's reproductive rights (and the rights of minorities and LGBTQ+ people, what's left of our democracy, and many other important things) if re-elected, while the other one is a senile, soulless convicted felon whose party is promoting Handmaid's Tale Gone Wild aka Project 2025 (and will also nuke Palestine off the map with glee, so there you go). And don't start me with the "both parties are the sAmE" or any kind of "gEnoCidE Joe" bullshit. Don't grumble and don't even think about protest voting this time. Get out and vote for Biden and all Democrats this November if you truly support a woman's right to choose!

PS: I do fully support Palestine to achieve sovereignty, but not at the expense of what's left of the American democracy.

With us running rapidly towards an election, remember. Primaries are where you vote for who you want. Presidential election is where you vote for who you can. Perfect politicians don't exist because perfect people don't exist. Life is complicated so vote please please vote for the person who will make life slightly less shit for everyone. To every LGBTQIA+ American who’s 18 or over, VOTE BLUE IN NOVEMBER. Trump wants to take away our right to marry who we love, the right for trans people (both minors and adults) to receive gender affirming care, allow discrimination against LGBTQIA+ people in obtaining healthcare, attending school and going to work and ban trans people from serving in the military.

In 2016, LGBTQIA+ voters could have swung the election, but so many decided to either not vote or vote for a third party candidate, which resulted in Trump being elected.

I don't know how to explain to people that the president of the United States doesn't have a magic wand he's just refusing to use, that can magically fix everything. He doesn't have an infinite supply of Government Issued Uno Reverse Cards that he can slap down whenever he wants. Yeah, he's still, ostensibly a shitty old white man, but throwing a little temper tanty about how 'evil and bad' he is and refusing to vote for him isn't gonna fix anything. It's gonna make everything worse, and you're still gonna have blood on your hands. Except it's gonna be the blood of your neighbors as well as whatever genocide you're hiding behind so you dont have to roll up your sleeves and get dirty while actually trying to fix the problem.

Grow the fuck up and get to work, beyond just parroting stupid shit you've read in your little echo chamber that tells you you're the goodest and most special because you refuse to do one single good thing.

You don't choose the lesser of two evils because you want evil to happen. You choose, because not choosing is worse. You choose harm reduction, you choose the way to work within the system at play to destroy it from the inside and replace it with better ones. You don't just refuse and wait to see what happens, hoping the sacrifices are enough to satisfy whatever shitty, lazy ideals you have. Or you shut the fuck up and you recognize that you're on the side of the worse evil, regardless of what pretty little words and protests you make.
