Some Pictures I Took From Fet Gede.
I enjoyed this years Fet Gede. This Sosyete not only celebrates the spirits here in the city. But respects and honors others Day of the Dead traditions also.
Fet Gede in Haiti is just such a past-honoring event. Known as the Festival of the Ancestors, Fet Gede ( = The Sacred Dead) is the Vodou equivalent of Mardi Gras, the Mexican Day of the Dead, and Halloween, all in one. So everyone dresses up.
But here are some pics I took while I was there. Check back for the video.

Spirit Statue. Gede Statue

Baron Altar. Baron La Croix

Some kind of death mermaid statue.
It's cool.

One of the children of the spirits dancers in the Oufo. Dressed as a spirit of the Dead. Gede.

I meet these women and though there costumes were cool.

🖕 the top is of a Haitian Oungan he and Andrew and some others released the Gede spirits after the Fet Gede was over. We told them thank you and then we all sayed a prayer.

This is the Haitian Oungan with the white powder on his face he was dancing and smoking cigarettes the spirits came and jumped a few people that night.

Legba wanted to give a message to whoever finds this.
All of my spirits have been making me give or throw things away to refresh and give out certain energies. Don’t be afraid to give or throw anything out when you’re called to.
He also said “study the greats;” this just isn’t “leaders” of the spiritual community. This could be anything.
“No, don’t be easily lead or mislead. Do not low vibrationally repurpose or low vibrationally copy, but be very inspired.”
I hope you guys are doing welllllll. Much love.

So obsessed with my new altar setup. Tip of the day, use recycled tin cans as mini cauldrons for burning petitions and other herbs for spells. Also, my senses restored and fiery wall of protection oils have been rapidly manifesting. Dm me for the recipe!!

For a while I'll be transferring content from my current IG to this Tumblr account. Once I transition off IG permanently, I still want those who follow along to be able to access old information as well as it be a resource for referencing future events from....
This is a Numerology reading on the year 2022. This was the first time I publicly used Numerology to divine with. I will be reposting more throwback content, but take this info and use it to look back on where you were last year and how 2022 unfolded according to things mentioned here!

Beginner in witchcraft tips? Like where should I start?
Beginner witchcraft tips
Part one : where & how do I start
1. Research and Respect Open Practices
• What Are Open Practices?
Open practices are spiritual or magical systems that do not require initiation, cultural heritage, or permission to engage in. Examples include eclectic witchcraft, kitchen witchcraft, green witchcraft, hedge witchcraft, and secular witchcraft.
• Avoiding Cultural Appropriation:
Practices like smudging (specific to Indigenous cultures), Hoodoo, and Voodoo are closed practices unless you are properly initiated or invited. Instead, use general terms like “smoke cleansing” with herbs like rosemary or lavender.
2. Build a Foundation of Knowledge
• History and Ethics of Witchcraft
Study the historical persecution of witches, modern witchcraft movements like Wicca, and the ethical principles (e.g., Wiccan Rede, the Threefold Law, or personal moral codes).
• Learn the Basics of Magic:
• Correspondences: Study how herbs, crystals, colors, and moon phases align with magical intentions.
• Intentions: Understand that intention is the core of magical practice. Clarity and focus are vital.
3. Start with Simple Tools and Techniques
• Common Tools:
You don’t need expensive or elaborate items to begin. Everyday objects like candles, notebooks, or kitchen herbs work just as well as specialized tools.
• Candles for fire energy (tea lights are excellent for beginners).
• Herbs like rosemary (cleansing and protection), basil (prosperity), and chamomile (calming).
• Salt for purification.
• Crystals like clear quartz (amplification), amethyst (calm), or rose quartz (love).
• DIY Approach:
Craft your own tools or collect items from nature (leaves, stones, feathers) for more personal meaning.
4. Create a Sacred Space
• Physical Space:
Choose a small area for your altar or sacred space. This can be a shelf, a table, or even a portable box. Include items like:
• A candle for focus and light.
• Representations of the elements (e.g., a bowl of water, stones, a feather).
• Personal objects that bring comfort or inspiration.
• Energetic Space:
Use cleansing techniques to clear your space, such as sprinkling salt, using sound (bells or clapping), or wafting incense.
5. Practice Energy Work
• Grounding:
This helps connect you to the earth and stabilize your energy. A simple method:
• Sit or stand barefoot. Imagine roots growing from your feet deep into the ground. Visualize excess energy flowing down these roots into the earth.
• Centering:
Gather scattered energy into your core. Visualize a glowing ball of light in your chest or belly, representing your personal power.
• Shielding:
Protect your energy by visualizing a protective bubble or shield of light around you.
6. Explore Divination
• Tarot or Oracle Cards:
• Start by pulling a single card daily to learn its meaning and connect with your intuition.
• Many decks come with guidebooks to help beginners.
• Pendulums:
Use a pendulum for yes/no questions. Practice by asking simple, clear questions and observing the swing (e.g., clockwise for yes, counterclockwise for no).
• Scrying:
Try gazing into a bowl of water, a mirror, or a candle flame to receive intuitive insights.
7. Learn Magical Timing
• Lunar Phases:
• New Moon: Set intentions and start new projects.
• Waxing Moon: Build energy and take action.
• Full Moon: Amplify power, perform gratitude rituals.
• Waning Moon: Release and banish unwanted energies.
• Days of the Week:
• Example: Thursday is associated with abundance and success.
• Seasons and Sabbats:
Research the Wheel of the Year (e.g., Yule, Beltane) and celebrate the seasons in ways that resonate with you.
8. Work With Nature and the Elements
• Earth: Grow plants, use crystals, or walk barefoot outside.
• Air: Burn incense, write affirmations, or meditate on your breath.
• Fire: Light candles, work with fire-safe herbs, or set intentions during sunsets.
• Water: Take ritual baths, work with moon water, or meditate near a body of water.
9. Keep a Grimoire or Book of Shadows
• Document your spells, rituals, and experiences.
• Include correspondences (e.g., herbs, colors, moon phases), affirmations, and journal entries about your practice.
• This will help you reflect on your progress and refine your methods over time.
10. Develop Your Own Path
• Personalize Your Practice:
Use what resonates with you and leave out what doesn’t. Witchcraft is a flexible and personal journey.
• Be Patient:
Progress takes time. Focus on consistency rather than perfection.
• Stay Open-Minded:
Connect with other practitioners to exchange ideas, but always critically evaluate what you incorporate into your practice.

My commission art, is done by Piotr Czaplarski aka Peter-the-Tomato.
A giant breasted black milf having Chimama'd her own big... beating....Heart 🫀. ya know what's gonna go down
what does Chimama mean. Well fun fact, that Chi means "Life Force" And since the life force is where the heart is contained. Chimama means Mother's Life Force. Kgaba Chimama is a ritualistic curse where a Santarian or Voodoo Bruja were to be placed on a big breasted mother (by having Macromastia, gigantomastia, or Saline or silicone implants) and that she has to chant the words once someone removes her enlarged heart from her chest, or if someone in a ceremony is doing the removal, but the mother must chant (Chimama) the words even when the heart is being removed. Once the heart is out, the heart must be shown in front of her face, to see the very life force that she kept imprisoned within' her chest. Then lowered down to the mother's giant rounded breasts, until risen aloft. If the mother's Enlarged heart were to have all dilated aneurysms of her great blood vessels intact. It will indicate that her heart was already suffering and that everything including the aneurysms must be removed along with the enlarged heart.
Once done, the Globular Enlarged Heart with superior & inferior vena cava, Aorta, pulmonary artery & venous aneurysms must be placed on an altar. To beat for the remaining 4 ( or possibly 5) hours it has left.

Anyhow, it is how the chant works.
But! Who knows what the chant can do 😳😲

"Hoodoo" Introduction | Mules and Men by Zora Neale Hurston
"New Orleans is now and has ever been the hoodoo capital of America. Great names in rites that vie with those of Hayti in deeds that keep alive the powers of Africa. Hoodoo, or Voodoo, as pronounced by the whites, is burning with a flame in America, with all the intensity of a suppressed religion. It has its thousands of secret adherents. It adapts itself like Christianity to its locale, reclaiming some of its borrowed characteristics to itself, such as fire-worship as signified in the Christian church by the altar and the candles and the belief in the power of water to sanctify as in baptism. Belief in magic is older than writing. So nobody knows how it started. The way we tell it, hoodoo started way back there before everything. Six days of magic spells and mighty words and the world with its elements above and below was made. And now, God is leaning back taking a seventh day rest. When the eighth day comes around, He’ll start to making new again. Man wasn’t made until around half-past five on the sixth day, so he can’t know how anything was done. Kingdoms crushed and crumbled whilst man went gazing up into the sky and down into the hollows of the earth trying to catch God working with His hands so he could find out His secrets and learn how to accomplish and do. But no man yet has seen God’s hand, nor yet His finger-nails. All they could know was that God made everything to pass and perish except stones. God made stones for memory. He builds a mountain Himself when He wants things not forgot. Then His voice is heard in rumbling judgment. Moses was the first man who ever learned God’s power-compelling words and it took him forty years to learn ten words. So he made ten plagues and ten commandments. But God gave him His rod for a present, and showed him the back part of His glory. Then too, Moses could walk out of the sight of man. But Moses never would have stood before the Burning Bush, if he had not married Jethro’s daughter. Jethro was a great hoodoo man. Jethro could tell Moses could carry power as soon as he saw him. In fact he felt him coming. Therefore, he took Moses and crowned him and taught him. So Moses passed on beyond Jethro with his rod. He lifted it up and tore a nation out of Pharaoh’s side, and Pharaoh couldn’t help himself. Moses talked with the snake that lives in a hole right under God’s foot-rest. Moses had fire in his head and a cloud in his mouth. The snake had told him God’s making words. The words of doing and the words of obedience. Many a man thinks he is making something when he’s only changing things around. But God let Moses make. And then Moses had so much power he made the eight winged angels split open a mountain to bury him in, and shut up the hole behind them. And ever since the days of Moses, kings have been toting rods for a sign of power. But it’s mostly sham-polish because no king has ever had the power of even one of Moses’ ten words. Because Moses made a nation and a book, a thousand million leaves of ordinary men’s writing couldn’t tell what Moses said. Then when the moon had dragged a thousand tides behind her, Solomon was a man. So Sheba, from her country where she was, felt him carrying power and therefore she came to talk with Solomon and hear him. The Queen of Sheba was an Ethiopian just like Jethro, with power unequal to man. She didn’t have to deny herself to give gold to Solomon. She had gold-making words. But she was thirsty, and the country where she lived was dry to her mouth. So she listened to her talking ring and went to see Solomon, and the fountain in his garden quenched her thirst.
So she made Solomon wise and gave him her talking ring. And Solomon built a room with a secret door and everyday he shut himself inside and listened to his ring. So he wrote down the ring-talk in books. That’s what the old ones said in ancient times and we talk it again."

Updated altar tour!!!
Hades & Persephone

They share an altar! Not much has changed since i last posted a picture of it except that i added a bracelet, but to recap, they’ve got:
A raven and skull Halloween decoration
A bracelet i made with Hades in mind and hung around the raven’s neck
Red Crowley-ish sunglasses
A candle holder from the thrift store
A stone snake figurine thing
A geode(?)/sparkly rock
A bat plushie (named Marcel the Mycelium Bat by my friend)
A bracelet i made for Persephone and put on the bat
Persephone’s offering bowl, a flowerpot with a crow(?) feather and a (now dead) flower
Vials of fake herbs (another Halloween decoration)
A poison apple spellbook Halloween decoration
A Hadestown magnet
A little red candle
Hades’ offering bowl, a thrifted metal bowl apparently made in 1978 (that’s the date carved on it at least) with crystals, coins, rocks, a key, a silver Beetlejuice bracelet, a button shaped like a cat eye, and a letter in it
Dionysus

Not much has changed since i last showed y’all Dionysus’s altar, but they’ve got:
A satyr statue i made in an art class
A painting with colors i associate with them
A nonbinary flag-colored heart charm
Two pinecones
A big bead with eerily similar colors to the lesbian flag
A bracelet
A gold paper heart a member of my high school a cappella group made me
Two amethyst crystals
My pronoun pin
A purple candle
Athena

Athena’s hasn’t changed much either, but it’s got:
My kindle
My vintage-looking desk light
Its offering bowl, a flower pot shaped like a statue head, with a crow feather, a little turkey feather, a massive turkey tail feather, and a Good Omens pen
A fall-scented candle
A Kamala Harris magnet from The Female Power Project
Two little plastic trophies
A few blue stones
A puzzle
An offering of iced tea & lemonade that Athena didn’t really like but didn’t want me to take it off its altar and still doesn’t (i tried it and it’s really sweet but like in a bad way so i can see why it doesn’t like it lol)
Hermes

Hermes’s altar has some new additions! I mainly got then because i wanna bring something from each altar with me to college that i won’t lose, and since candles aren’t allowed i got him something else, so now he has:
His candle (which I’m still obsessed with)
A wax doll my dad got me from a Voodoo practitioner’s shop on a business trip to New Orleans
A feather
A Newsies keychain
A marble
A tiny rubber duck figurine
Dice
What i think is Dalmatian Jasper but I could be wrong??
A couple more shiny rocks
A bracelet
A couple coins
A brand new statue (which is what I’m bringing to college)!!! It came with what I’m guessing is a little baby Hermes but I don’t really know, and a caduceus that I just realized he can hold
Artemis

Artemis’s hasn’t changed much either, except for a few added trinkets, so right now she has:
A candle
An animal skull-shaped fish tank decoration i got from my friend’s yard sale (coincidentally the same friend who named Marcel the Mycelium Bat)
A silver ring from prom
A few rocks
A little crystal, i think it’s amethyst??
A Totoro figurine
A crescent moon selenite offering bowl
An acorn
A mug inspired by her I made junior year of high school with a crow feather in it
A gold crescent moon charm
Apollo

I haven’t shown Apollo’s altar yet because he’s relatively new to the group of deities i work with/worship! He’s got:
A tall ass candle
A wolf plushie
A rainbow… thing, it’s too big to be a bracelet but too small to be a necklace so it’s his now
A gold plastic coin thing
A fake lavender-looking flower
A glass bauble charm filled with yellow glitter
My tarot cards
An award i got senior year from the music program (I scribbled out my name on the photo)
An HRC water bottle that’s kinda hidden behind the award
A couple rocks
A yellow plastic gummy bear
A squishy yellow unicorn fidget toy
A plastic toy milkshake (he thought it was funny)
Aphrodite

Aphrodite has a couple additions to her altar, too! We’ve got:
A drawing I made for her
A pretty little teal rock
Two shells
A tiny pink candle
A piece of a plastic crown from my high school’s production of Mean Girls last year, I have no idea how i ended up with it but here we are
A thing of blush (rarely used, i thought she might appreciate it more)
Coconut and pear-scented chapstick
A shell kinda shaped like a bowl with a pearly charm, two pink paper stars, and a tiny rose charm in it
Her offering bowl, a teacup, saucer, and spoon shaped like a flower, leaf, and ladybug respectively that was a graduation present from a friend!! While they’re not quite Aphrodite’s style, she still likes them on her altar because they were a symbol of platonic love!!
A bracelet in her offering bowl

House of Voodoo - A CC collection
I finally re-worked my House of Voodoo set ! In the process of remaking my Voodoo shop lot, I got inspired to make some new recolours to decorate the lot and give you more voodoo/vodou original content. This set is required for the lot to function as intended.
Set info & Download ⬇
This is a set of 7 objects (recolours only).

- 1. Powerful religious figures portrait. 10 swatches. I think you need Living Together for that one. I’m working on more swatches, stay tuned ! - 2. Vodou flags/drapo. 10 swatches. Pretty sure it’s BGC.. - 3. Vodou posters. 10 swatches. Requires University! These are the ones you can spot on the shop’s wall ! - 4. The Book of Voodou. This is a bit of an experiment, I wanted to try myself at retexture non-flat objects. MESH REQUIRED *find it here* (you only need the botanical book open book) - 5. Entrance sign (’Strange gods, strange altars’). Base game compatible. - 6. Marie Laveau’s shop neon sign. Requires City Living ! also it’s a bit big but ya know, just shrink it. It’s not perfect especially when it lights up at night but I like it the feeling of it! - 7. Vévé (traditionnal Vodou sigil). Requires Realm of Magic! 5 swatch, find it under ‘rugs’. I’m working on more swatches ! I’m also trying to transform it into a meditation spot, if anyone knows how to do that...
