I really want to know what Aizawa is thinking when he realizes he's training the next gen of the most powerful mafia family on the planet. Like, is he actually convincing these hellions to go hero? I honestly think their moral compasses are too screwed for that (saving the planet is one thing, interrupting a baseball game to save people to stupid to save themselves is another) but I could believe that they would be a lot better about collateral damage thanks to him.
The tenth Gen are always going to inhabit a weird gray area somewhere between hero and vigilante just based off of who they are and the situations they get dragged into by being close to the mafia. Which also fits in with the end of the manga where Reborn decides he’s no longer training Tsuna to be the Vongola boss but to be the Neo Primo.

I'm a different anon, but I'm curious was to what the relationships between the Servamps are like in the crossover au
that depends on which universe the bnha crossover is taking
there's the stray gods route where bnha is a sequel to bsd where quirks become accepted because post decay of angels terrorism incident and clearing their name ADA led the movement to accept gifted rights, servamp is also there where C3 worked together w the govt to contain bram's vampirism
there's the khr crossover route where hugh sided with secondo while lawless and at the time world's end sided with primo and then yeaaaaars later vongola's tenth generation lightning studies at UA's gen ed course, finding himself befriending deku, not knowing that deku's school nurse from middle school is an ally of tsuna
in the usual servamp x bnha crossover though (or rather the trimmed version to make it more digestible to promote servamp) they're basically.... getting along for the sake of protecting their subclasses

.Whiskey. Seeing the first gen on the dash reminded me of some headcanons. I don't think G's anger at Daemon was just suddenly brought on by the betrayal. I believe he and Daemon had a much deeper connection than just both serving as guardians. We know Daemon didn't lose his shit and didn't start trying to wipe out the lower forces until he lost the love of his life. But G's anger at him isn't explained other than he never forgave him for betraying them and trying to kill Simon Primo. I feel he and Cozzato had a deeper bond than just friends and Daemon losing Elena then targeting the Simon which were historically the Vongola's strongest bonds on his path to exterminate the weak was a direct attack at G, a "How does it feel to lose someone we know that you love?" so to speak. Is Daemon that petty? Absolutely. Is G that petty to hold a grudge even in death and never forgive him? If he loved the person enough, yes.
Daemon was his best friend but Cozzato was possibly the love of his life, and now G will never forgive Daemon. But the parallel in the 10th gen is that since Daemon lost the love of his life, Mukuro can never lose Chrome as @astrxthesiai and I write them as twin flames, Mukuro would die first or they go together to prevent the history from repeating itself, and since G and Daemon were close and drifted apart, Mukuro is the last person Gokudera will trust. It will take a lot for them to get close, if Gokudera can learn to trust him at all.

I like your headcanon for Cavallone Primo, now I’m wondering when the Cavallone boss got the sky flames? In canon we know Giotto gave the 7 flames of the sky there names and every other family went with it.
When Dino’s tattoo appeared so did his sky flame. I’m interested in future generations since it’s normal that not many use flames because in the canon story line not many people used flames until the future arc.
In canon we only know that the Vongola first gen utilized flames but I wonder if a Cavallone boss did manage to get a flame.
I’m now curious which Cavallone boss would meet Giotto and the Vongola family and learns about flame. How would they view the Vongola since it started as a vigilante organization.
So, the problem is that we are never really explained how people get the Dying will flames, to my memories at least, so I guess it is an occurrence that depends on feelings, state of mind, whatever. I guess everyone has the potential to have the flames, but only a few may have them manifest.
I am just speculating, pls do not crucify me.
As we established that Giotto was there in the 19th century, he may have met the third or the fourth Cavallone boss, also has he met the Cavallone boss prior or after the Italian Unity?
As a reference: Italy was united officially in 1871. We got there in phases, first uniting the north by freeing ourselves from the Austrians. THen in 1860 the expedition of the 1000 guided by Garibaldi freed Sicily from the Borbones and marched towards Naples, then in 1861 Italy was declared a kingdom and the capital was established in Turin. In 1866 Veneto was freed and in 1870 finally the army marched to end the state of the Vatican (famous breach of Porta Pia) and then in 1871 the capital was moved to Rome and Italy was declared fully united.
Depending on that the interactions are quite different. Also, if Giotto started as a vigilante, that means that he and his pals were brigands, which means that any noble would wage repressions and wars against them.
So yeah, I don't think they had a good start.

Ok, about Vongola Primo cause I note myself I gonna be back at him.
Honestly, Primo's memory in manga (because I hate the anime filler, ok gonna back to that later) doesn't show us much of Giotto's personality. Sociable or shy? Extroverted or introverted? Talkative or silent? We don't know anything. What I got from eight memories was that he was loyal, had a strong sense of justice.
And reckless, noone could take this from my dead cold body that Giotto, Vongola Primo, was reckless as fuck, and this is why:
- In his 1st memory, he chased a total stranger for God-know distance just to give back a wallet.
Tumblr media
Righteous, yes. But also reckless, considering that their town was "paradise of outlaws." Cozart could be a gang member and following him could be extremely dangerous.
Did Giotto consider that? No, he just saw someone "drop the wallet" and immediately chased after them, no thought whatsoever about that person's identity and whether it may bring trouble if chasing that person.
- So, we knew from Nono's words that Giotto found Vongola at about Tsuna's canon age, which is 14, right? Which is, kids. And I bet Cozart and G couldn't be much older than that, considering that a 4-year difference in age normally caused a generation gap in conversation.
Tumblr media
But okay, just talk about Giotto, then. He was a kid in every sense and he found a vigilante group to fight back larger gangs that can kill someone for not discounting the merchandise and from that, of course not gonna hesitate to kill kids. Keep considering that those "larger gangs" had enough firearms to destroy a house to brick, and we see so much difference between the two forces.
If Giotto found Vongola in 14 is not reckless then I don't know what is.
- He was the don, the very symbol of existence of a famiglia, and the first reaction after the shock when hearing his friend being in the battlefield was to run to that battlefield to save him.
Ok, at this point we can all agree he was a loyal friend that would give you his all, but that's not the main point in this scene.
The main point is Giotto stayed at home, alone, with Daemon, who at that point he knew was a traitor and just planned a whole scheme to kill off his best friend. Stay at home, alone, because the guardians that time were at the battlefield rescued Cozart.
Tumblr media
I don't know whether Giotto was confident in the possibility that Daemon wouldn't attack him directly or confident in his winning even if Daemon chose to attack, but you can't tell me he was reckless with his own life as a chip at that scene.
- And the oath with Cozart too, a gamble on life. With his own children and blood. Giotto solely trusted two families won't conflict and no one had to be in jail when he had no way to control how things would turn out in the future. He didn't even control how Daemon ghosting over Vongola, I don't know if he even think his Mist could exist until more than a centure later. (And if Giotto could control that, what a real lookover we need to do, see how Daemon directly killed all of Enma's family. If Giotto could control his Mist guardian and he let that Flood of Blood incident happen, did that change the whole impression we have on him from the beginning? No, I don't think Giotto even had any control over Daemon's ghosting)
Vindice warned. But he still made the oath while having absolutely no idea what the future may be. Second to ninth gen of Simon were Giotto and Cozart's losing chips and Tenth gen was a win. A close one, because Simon Decimo Gen almost went to jail, all of them. And considering that seven children were all what Simon had, if Enma and his guardians went to jail then this oath was completely done in the worst way possible.
- Now to the smaller hints. Like his conflict with Secondo before retiring to Japan. It was brilliant. It was smart. It was the biggest "fuck you" I even see. Giotto conflicted with the next boss and he had to retire? No, he retired AND CUT THE FAMILY IN TWO. Vongola-Cedef. "No, you are the boss but don't even dare to think for one second that you got the whole power I used to have. You are the boss but your choice on the next boss will and can be affected by my own people. Oh and the rings. Lady Sepira gave it to me. Now split them in two and give half to my people. If your people want to be heir, they need to get agreement from my people and had the other half of the rings."
The founding of CEDEF was badass as hell don't anyone dare to tell me otherwise.
Even smaller details. The forth memory shows that he was in a strategic meeting with his family. Talking about a war. A war that according to Adel, "attempt to conquer all the lands of Europe". (Chapter 297) Okay, we can't say for sure how much the "conquer Europe" thing was true or just a lost tale of history, but the forth memory shows that Giotto had a strategic meeting, this can't be argued. He fought in war, a pretty big one.
And anyone remember his smiling yet fiery words "Give that Mare boy a scare"? Childish, I tell you. Giotto had a personality of a blazing flame with sarcasm under his tender and (appear to be) youthful face. Every single manga panels of his appearance can shown how fiery can he be.
And oh, Giotto was an emotional little teen too, just look at the second memory.
Tumblr media
Did anyone gonna talk about his holding flower, punching wall and shouting about justice while drenching in rain? I will and I gonna say he was emotional as hell. And the other moments when Giotto accidentally knocked the ink bottle over when knowing Cozart was in the battlefield, or when he shouting at Cozart's decision to "going into shadow". You can't look at all of them and tell me Giotto's emotion was not overdrive so many times when he was alive.
On HDW mode, he was a solemn, overpowering authority figure, with a soft sadness in his eyes that somehow contained something unreachable. I really like how in eight memory in Inheritance Ceremony Arc, not a single time Giotto was in HDW mode, and he appeared to be lively and much more human than the symbol Vongola made him to be - there is much more to him than a title and a single number attached to it.
But damn his "more" is so :))) I literally don't know what to say when I finished reading about his scarcely past screentimes. I like his whole new reckless with a bit childish characteristics but that not mean it would cause a whole turnover to me, damn.

I’m one of your Anon lurkers’ but I didn’t see anyone recommend these ones; they are some of the original fics that first dragged me to the bottom of the KHR Pit and I haven’t gotten out since.
Vigilante Tendency By Kyogre
Complete, semi-AU. There’s such a thing as being too much like the 1st generation. Tsuna didn’t mean to start a vigilante group, but somehow it happened anyway. Well done, “Neo Primo,” well done
Little Prince By Scheming Rabbit
Iemitsu is not the only one with a notable bloodline. Nana’s lineage claimed Tsuna long before Reborn came to train him for the Vongola. When Reborn goes to Namimori to train the Decimo, he only finds an empty house. Or: in which Tsuna is a prince.
Odd-Job Tsuna By ShamelessDilettante
Tsuna decides to get a job because he didn’t want to be indebted to his father. Somehow, this leads to even more jobs and friends popping up in unexpected places. Tsuna can only blame his inability to refuse requests, but he’ll never understand why he attracts trouble like a magnet.
While I completely agree that the other recs are AMAZING These 3 are part of the legendary category in the Fandom due to being; Completed, with a word count over 30K (2 of them are over 100K), Not a crossover (Any characters from other fandoms are just cameos so the authors didn’t have to make an OC), and is not a SI OC, mostly Gen, as well as Keeping to the orignal crack-y vibe that the show/manga has.

[ID: A panel from the manga Katekyo Hitman Reborn, showing the Shimon family. From off-screen Tsuna says "And I now know that the Simon family are really good people who were just deceived..." /End ID]
eh, i'm not vibing much with this tbh. like yes of course the shimon are good people and were deceived, but all the issues they have and the circumstances they're in that let daemon take advantage of them to begin with are still very much there. all their grievances and feelings and motivations are still valid because everything that has happened to them still happened to them. like okay the shimon first gen wasn't betrayed by primo, but what does it really change for them, the shimon 10th gen? how does it change their circumstances, their situation? it takes some edge of their pain, anger and hatred, especially when it comes to direct them to tsuna & co, sure, but we're still talking about nine generations of persecution that lead to them all being orphans.
but we're just going to brush all of this off? because that's what this line seems to imply, what it seems to hint we're going for. the shimon were being deceived and are really good people, tsuna's father didn't actually kill enma's family, and now they know that they just need to fight the real enemy, daemon, and snap enma out of his hatred and tell him the truth too, and then happily ever after. is that it?
because yes they should take into account the fact daemon manipulated them, of course, and daemon is the cause of the situation that lead to their persecution, independently of what really happened, but the families allied to vongola sure seem to have been all but too willing to take advantage of their situation to make them miserable. to be cruel with them. and vongola sure didn't feel the need to lift a finger to stop them. and daemon only personally saw to it to kill enma's family himself. no one cared about their unfair pain and losses, and that's still a fact that remains true even in the light of daemon's manipulation.
the conflict between them and vongola, if not between them and the 10th gen, is still very much alive even in the light of daemon's manipulation, so if this is really how amano is going to "resolve" it, then it's going to be boring and a big let-down for me tbh.
(besides, well, even after they fight against daemon and win, and get enma in the know too about what really happened to both his family and the shimon first gen, what will it change for the shimon? to make it actually meaningful i'm thinking, off the top of my head, that the ninth reveals the truth to the mafia, or vongola at least, about what really happened to the shimon first gen and of the close friendship between kozart and primo, as well as daemon's manipulation of the shimon 10th gen so to absolve them of the actions they took against vongola, or at least so they can have as light a punishment as realistically possible.
the ninth also officially allies vongola to the shimon, so to give them the time to let them grow strong enough to stand on their own in the mafia under vongola's protection, and helps them find the ones who killed their families to punish them. and maybe even helps them find every single mafioso and mafia family who hurt them, but tho the shimon would be perfectly in their right to ask that of him as a condition for the alliance, i think it'd still be reasonable and understandable of them to let it go in favor of the protection and safety the alliance would give them if the ninth refuses to agree to it for whatever reason. (< namely i'm thinking he'd have to keep face and "protect" those mafiosi to some extent as the vongola boss, as we're talking about mafia families allied to vongola here.) or tsuna does all of that depending on who's actually in power post-shimon arc.
but did any of this happen post the arc? because i sure don't remember any mention of that lol. the way i remember it the shimon just become actual, proper and genuine friends with the 10th gen, and i guess suddenly everything in the world is good again for them. but what about the ones who persecuted them and murdered their families just because they could? because remember that for everyone except the shimon themselves, the shimon just so happens to be a small and weak family, and clearly that was all the reasons they needed. what about the ninth who was the vongola boss when all of that was happening and did nothing to stop it, and yet was still aware enough of their existence to invite them to the vongola inheritance ceremony? and what about vongola in and of itself who did nothing to help them during nine generations?
where does all their anger, pain, hatred and desire of revenge and justice go? because the daemon reveal and the truth about what happened between primo and kozart do give them closure, sure, but only some of it. most of their bleeding and open wounds still remain just that, open and bleeding and raw.
and i know i'm still missing part of the big picture here so feel free to correct anything i might have gotten wrong, and that i might be nitpicking here and making all of this deeper than we were meant to see it as, but like. amano made everything about the shimon pretty damn dark and tragic and deep, so like? idk, imo she'd really have dropped the ball on what is so far a really well built-up arc if this is really how she chose to resolve everything.)

Got A Feeling (Giotto's Crushin' All Time High)
Fandom: Katekyo Hitman Reborn
Pairing: GiottoCozart
Summary: Trip to Japan! Of course nobody took Giotto’s Bigger-Than-His-Head-AND-Ego crush on Cozart into account…  Also known as: How to plan your wedding while still in denial.
Warnings: De Nile is not just a river in Egypt and Giotto’s outrageous crush
Disclaimer: I don’t own Katekyo Hitman Reborn.
Post with links to AO3 & FF.net: here.
Throwing the panels to the side with less care than advised, Giotto flung himself into the main room.
‘’Do not fear, for I am here!’’ Pose one, pose two aaaaaand supermegafoxyawesomehot ending pose!
Dayum! The last pose’s awesomeness materialized out of nowhere like a ninja in the night! Except ninja weren’t supposed to appear, they should be invisible and weren’t even half as fabulous and- Giotto would contemplate this when he wasn’t waiting for the applause. His arm was starting to burn.
No standing ovation yet. Didn’t they know it was okay to clap? Waving to prompt them, he opened his eyes.
G sighed, Asari blinked, Alaude took a sip of his tea, Knuckle frowned, Lampo didn’t lift his head from the floor and Daemon just raised an eyebrow. Elena…
Elena was muffling laughter.
Slumping, Giotto pouted. ‘’When Cozart walks in, everybody shouts ‘Simon-san!’.  Why can’t you do that for the resident sugarplum too?’’
Daemon inclined his head, stroking the cat on his lap. ‘’We’re sorry. Try again.’’
His guardians were the best! Beaming, Giotto hurried outside, closed the door, and threw it open again with one grand, sweeping gesture.
‘’Do not fear, for I am here!’’ And… Pose! Wink, wink!
‘’Simon-san!’’
Giotto hid his cheeks in his hands- oh god, he felt so loved! Even Alaude and Lampo had sounded enthusiastic, and they even managed to do it in unison! Oh, how great to hear his nam-
Wait a minute.
Giotto’s hands fell as he straightened up, jutting out his chest. ‘’I have never been this insulted in my-oh.’’
They had called him Simon-san. As in Cozart Simon. As in Mr. Cozart Simon, happily married on his way to happily ever after with his beloved. As in, the guy Giotto might have a teeny, tiny crush on, which was totally not taking his life over, no matter what G said!
‘’Never mind. I’m perfectly happy being called Simon-san. Joyous, even!’’
Giddily, he floated out of the room. He had a letter to write! All those kisses at the end of his latest heart-covered letter weren’t going to add themselves!
As the door slid shut behind him, Lampo gagged. ‘’Kill me now.’’
‘’Agreed.’’
Aww, they had the talking in unison down! Cozart would not believe how cute his future step-children were!

First of all I love your blog sooo much :D and I'm really excited for this event! Not sure if I'm doing this right with the ask but if it's alright I'd like something with small G and Giotto, preferably angsty or fluffy or G taking care of Giotto or something I couldn't decide but I have this headcanon that G always took care of smaller Giotto when they were little~ only if you want and have the time of course :D Thank you for reading this and have a nice day!!
Haown thank you so much *Chopperdance I hope I’ll not disappoint you and I’m so sorry for keeping you waiting like this, motivation is running really slow since a week or two with this heat, it’s a bit complicated to focus on something! It looks more like a regular request than an event one but it’s okay, I’ll write it nonetheless as I didn’t have a lot of event request anyway, thank you for the ask! (:Your headcanon is so precious and I can totally agree with it
It was twenty minutes since Giotto left for the little grocery store two streets next door and nothing seemed to announce his return.G. paced around in the little room, a frown visible on his face as he was digging a hole on the wood flooring with his tiny leather shoes, maybe he shouldn’t have been caught up in his book and go down with the blond to, at least, give him a hand with bags.He stopped in front of the window of the little flat, sighing as he tried to push away the bad sensation creeping up inside, middle town is pretty quiete at this hour but the sun was already hiding behind the roofs.
Ten more minutes and the light bringer crossed the pavement to enlight the street lamps hooked on the tall houses, G. had enough waiting for his mate, something had probably happened and he needed to go and check for his friend’s safety. He grabbed the coat hanging on the front door, looking at Giotto’s one still there, great, so, that mean he left without any protection as his knife was probably still in his pocket. The boy huffed and opened the door in one swift motion, ready to face the fresh air of the city; however, when he lifted his head, his eyes landed on familiar a bruised angelic face, shock, surprise, guilt and anger spread accross his figure before he recomposed himself and hastened Giotto in. He entered the tiny flat, putting his broken paper bags on the table, panting softly while his future gardian push back the door close after checking if no-one had followed.A hand fell on the incoming Vongola Primo’s shoulder, motionning him to turn around, the other boy took a close look at his wounded eye and his swollen lips as the first licked away few drops of blood on the corner of his mouth, with a shippish smile, he began to empty the errands, his voice rising from the silence.
«It’s okay, don’t worry, they just stole the wallet, fortunately, there wasn’t a lot still in it and I well defended our dinner, pesto pasta with ham, sounds good to you ?!»
Giotto heard a ruffle behind him, but no clear answer, he turned back again, facing the red-head boy pulling out a piece of fabric along with a bottle of alcool which made him cringe just thinking about the forthcoming tingling sensation. He sat on the wooden chair with a sigh, looking calmly as G. poured stinky liquid on the cloth, he detailed his face, reading each expressions of his close, scowling figure, when the tissue came in contact with the injury, he winced and with a gentle grin, he whispered
«Don’t blame yourself, you couldn’t have done anything more and worse could have happened if any resistance had shown, honestly, I think I did we-Outch»
G.’s fingers pressed harder on the wound as his frown eased up a bit to the reassuring words, he rinsed the cloth before putting it back on Giotto amused face, gritting his teeth, he muttered« Sei stupido. »

And A Child Shall Lead Them (Or Burn Them To The Ground)
Fandom: Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
Rating: Gen
Characters: Sawada Tsunayoshi, Giotto/Vongola Primo
Summary:
Tsuna really, really high-key kinda hated his life. Because apparently, one is not safe from being badgered over being Vongola Decimo even 200 years in the past where no one knows him, Vongola isn’t even really the same thing, and Reborn isn’t there to cause chaos. Because of course.
Why is this Tsuna’s life?
---
In which Tsuna is sent to Primo's time, and they talk about his place in Vongola.
AO3
What led to Tsuna’s current situation was this:
Giannini had come into town again, and decided to “improve” Lambo’s bazooka again, despite being explicitly ordered several times never to do so.
So, in yet another fit, Lambo used his newly modified bazooka, which of course had, up to this moment, remained untested, meaning no one, not even Giannini, knew exactly what it would do.
Inevitably, in the resulting chaos (that was massively exacerbated by his sadist of a tutor), the bazooka hit Tsuna.
And, of course, instead of swapping with his ten years older self for five minutes, he was sent two hundred years in the past right in the middle of Primo and his guardian’s weekly meeting. For an unknown amount of time yet again, he realized as five minutes passed by and he didn’t go back yet.
Tsuna kinda high-key hated his life at that moment.
Well, good news was that Primo and his guardians took Vongola Decimo appearing in their life out of nowhere as gracefully as they could, and (mostly) accepted it in the end.
Bad news was that meant Tsuna was sent straight to the interrogation room where he was only let out after he was vetted by Giotto’s intuition seventeen times over the next three hours.
Regardless, they were getting along rather nicely now, and since they were on far better terms now than they were this morning, clearly that meant it was time for existential debates between ancestor and descendant while waiting for Talbot to come help figure out what was going on.
Tsuna really, really high-key kinda hated his life. Because apparently , one is not safe from being badgered over being Vongola Decimo even 200 years in the past where no one knows him, Vongola isn’t even really the same thing, and Reborn isn’t there to cause chaos. Because of course .
Why is this Tsuna’s life?
“Tell me," Giotto asked his descendant, "what are your feelings towards Vongola? Why are you denying the position so adamantly?"
Tsuna side-eyed Giotto solemnly for a moment, his eyes furrowed as he contemplated what to say to his ancestor. Softly puffing out a breath, he looked out towards the horizon, where the sun was setting in brilliant reds and oranges.
Softly, Tsuna spoke. "I... Was always a nobody. I wasn't good at anything, and no one expected anything out of me. If anything, they expected me to fail at life and probably die in a ditch somewhere, sad, alone, and a failure until the end. No one would help, and no one cared. After all, I'm just Dame-Tsuna." He smiled wryly, just for a fleeting moment before it disappeared under his frown.
Primo winced. "Tsuna—"
Tsuna bolstered on, unable, unwilling to stop now that he was finally saying his deepest, most honest thoughts.
"Then suddenly ," Tsuna chokes out, frustration clear in his voice, "I'm told that I have to lead a large, powerful organization that has done terrible, horrible things, strayed so far from your ideal that it was unrecognizable —not that I knew it at the time." Tsuna snorted. "My own Father , a high ranking member, never even bothered to tell me, or even make an effort to come home more often even to see Mama , let alone contact us , because he was so freaking busy with the Family he couldn't possibly come back. I thought he was dead for years."
Giotto winced. This was very clearly a sore spot, and had been repressed for ages. He supposed it was good for him to get it out? From how he was talking, this was the first time he had said any of this. But the things he was hearing... What happened to Vongola in the future, that they would commit supposedly horrendous acts and actively attempt to make a child their leader?
"...I'm sorry," Giotto murmured, downcast. "It must have been hard for you."
Tsuna wilted, his shoulders hunching up in guilt. "No," he sighed tiredly, "it's not your fault." Tsuna looked at Giotto, an apologetic and sympathetic gleam in his eye. "In the end, I got my friends, my family out of it, so clearly something good came of it." Tsuna's eyes hardened, a bright orange sheen gleaming over his eyes.
"But let me make one thing clear." Tsuna stood up straight, straighter than Giotto had ever seen him stand since he arrived in the past. His eyes narrowed as he turned to stare right at Giotto in the eyes. "There was a resolve I gave, to become worthy of the ring, so that it would accept me."
Giotto gazed wide eyed, mesmerized as he could practically see the flames of Hyper Dying Will mode on Tsuna's forehead, accentuating his eyes as the sunset cast him a bright orange glow from behind.
"If I am ever forced to inherit Vongola's mistakes... I will wipe it out myself ."
After that heavy declaration, Tsuna left.
Giotto stared frozen, stunned for a bit, before smiling softly and letting out a small chuckle as he stared at the last few dying moments of the sunset.
Despite his descendant declaring his intention to destroy everything he worked so hard to build... He strangely felt that everything would turn out alright in the end, with Tsuna.
Trusting in his intuition and his Dying Will, Giotto sat content, knowing that with Tsuna, everything would turn out just fine.
EXTRA:
Giotto: i need a successor who is strong, wise, will take care of vongola, and makes good decisions Tsuna, shaking like a rabbit: imma burn this place to the ground Giotto, immediately: i'll take him

Word Count: 1,353
Pairing: Reader x Giotto
World: Katekyo Hitman Reborn
Author’s Note: This was written for a friend of mine, @kiralushia, for her birthday! I really hope you have a wonderful day and I hope you enjoy this fic Happy birthday, dear.
━━━━━━༻🌧️༺━━━━━━
Tomorrow was your birthday, but it was also Gokudera’s, a fact which you were not very happy about. It made sense, of course, with billions of people populating the earth, there were many who were born on the same day as you, but why did it have yo be someone you knew? Everyone wanted to celebrate the two of you together, as if you were the same person.
You felt bad not liking this, but something about it just didn’t sit right. Of course, you kept these feelings to yourself. Everyone was so excited and they were celebrating out of the kindness of their hearts – they didn’t have to wish you a happy birthday, they didn’t have to arrange a nice dinner at a restaurant, but they did because they love you. And you loved them, as well.
Still, you wished that you didn’t share your birthday with the silver haired male, but that was life and you just had to deal with it.
When the time came to head to the restaurant, you decided that you weren’t in the mood for the family’s antics and loud nature. You just wanted to relax and watch a movie or work on your art. It was your birthday, after all, and you wanted to do what you wanted.
Tsuna’s knuckles rapped on the door to your office, politely waiting for your okay before stepping inside. “Are you ready to go, Y/N?”
You were struck with a dilemma. Should you lie in order to not hurt his feelings, claiming that you feel unwell? Or do you answer him honestly, laying your feelings onto the table? For a moment, you just sat behind your desk, brow furrowed, bottom lip between your teeth.
Tsuna was perceptive, of course, and he could sense your hesitation. With a kind smile, he approached the desk, his warm hand coming to rest upon your shoulder. “What is it? Have you changed your mind?”
As your eyes met his, filled with warmth and kindness, you knew you couldn’t lie to your beloved boss, so you nodded. “I’m sorry, I just really want to go home and draw. I’m not in the mood to sit at a restaurant all night…”
His smile didn’t falter. “That’s alright. Go on home and get some rest, I’ll let the others know. And Y/N?”
“Yes, boss?”
“Happy birthday!”
You smiled. “Thanks, boss.”

After returning home and changing into more comfortable clothes, you settled down in the living room with your laptop, opening up the art program so you could continue your work on the current project. It was a picture of Giotto, the Vongola primo, who was, in your opinion, the most beautiful man that ever existed. You had always been fascinated by him and the first gen family, but that only grew when the primo himself somehow ended up in your timeline.
No one knew how or why, but you didn’t really care. All that mattered was this beautiful man standing before you, alive and real. You could touch him, smell the orange twinge of his cologne and feel the warmth that his body radiated. He was real and he was here. Now that, you believed, was your true birthday gift, even if it had come a month earlier.
You smiled at the drawing. It was almost complete, just needing to be colored and to add a few touch ups here and there. The image depicted the primo standing upon a hill, his face turned toward you with a gentle smile despite the confusion dancing within those beautiful eyes of his. His body was silhouetted by the setting sun behind him, setting the world alight with hues of burnt orange and crimson red.
A knock on the front door broke you from your thoughts. Who could it be? Everyone should be at the restaurant by now. Had they come to drag you there against your will? You had no doubt that Ryohei would try such a thing. This thought made you hesitate. Perhaps you should just ignore it.
But they knocked again and you realized something. The knocks were soft, polite even. Something so quiet could never be produced by someone whose aesthetic was to be as loud as humanly possible. You set the laptop down onto the coffee table before heading for the door, your fingers curling around the doorknob before pulling it open.
Giotto stood there, in jeans and a grey sweater, smiling warmly as he always did. “You really should ask who is there before opening your door, you know. It’s dangerous not to do so.”
You felt your cheeks heating up a bit and you cleared your throat. “You’re right, my apologies, Primo.”
“I’ve told you it’s okay to call me Giotto,” he chuckled. “May I come in?”
“Oh, right. Yeah, of course.” You stepped back to allow him entrance, closing the door behind him. “Shouldn’t you be with the others at the restaurant?”
“Funny, I was about to ask you the same thing.” His lips twitched up, eyes dancing with amusement. “Tsuna said you changed your mind. I wanted to come and check on you.”
“T-That’s really sweet of you,” you smiled shyly, eyes raking his body as he glanced toward the living room. He was such a gorgeous man, especially wearing that tight sweater, clinging to his body before disappearing into his jeans, the black belt keeping them secured in place. Upon looking closer, you noticed a small penguin embroidered onto the left breast of the sweater. “How cute.”
“Hm?” His eyes slid back to you, curiously and you coughed, quickly averting your eyes.
“Your sweater… it’s really cute.”
“Thank you,” he offered you a closed eye smile, his bangs shifting over his eyes from the movement.
When you felt an awkward silence beginning to form over the two of you, you headed for the living room. “Please make yourself at home. Would you like something to drink?”
“If you don’t mind, thank you.” He followed you into the living room, settling down onto the couch as you stepped into the kitchen, pouring him a cup of hot tea before returning to the living room. You nearly dropped it when you realized that his attention was on your computer, where the drawing of him sat open for him to see.
You swallowed hard shakily handing him the cup. “I-I can explain -”
“You’re quite talented,” he commented, taking it from your hand. “Thank you for the drink.”
His words sent a wave of pride through you knowing that someone you admired so deeply appreciated the art that you drew. The fact that he didn’t feel weirded out that you were drawing him without permission was also a plus.
“I hope you don’t think I’m intruding,” he commented softly, watching you as you took a seat in the chair. “He said you wanted to be alone, but I wanted to check on you.”
“Ah, you’re not intruding at all!” You smiled. “I really appreciate your concern. I’m happy that you’re here.”
“Oh?” He quirked a brow, unable to stop the smile from coming to his lips as he set the drink onto the coffee table. “I’m happy to indulge you, then.” He patted the spot next to him and you headed over, sliding down beside him on the couch, trying to control the warmth in your face, which came increasingly harder when his warm hand came to rest upon your own.
“Primo…” Your eyes shook with love, as clear as day to him.
“Giotto,” he corrected softly, leaning forward to press a soft kiss to your heated cheek. “Happy birthday, amore mio.”
“Thank you… Giotto.” You shifted your hand in his grip so you could lace your fingers with his.
This was the absolute best way you could imagine spending your birthday and you felt so happy and warm with him by your side. It was something you never wanted to end and you would be happy to just be stuck in this moment for eternity, but you weren’t the only one. You had, after all, captured the primo’s heart.

i think one of my top five disappointments with khr is that despite tsuna constantly stating he doesnt want to be a mafia boss nothing was done with it outside of him just complaining??? no deep talk to even convince why he should lead the vongola outside of like regular “you’re the only one bc you’re the protag & it’s the only way to save your friends” type deals. he just kept getting cool power ups until the end when he was like “ok guess i’m the neo primo now :’)”
(don’t get me started on why i cant stand the repetition between the 1st and 10th gen either)
then i remember i probably put too much faith in what was a literal gag manga for 60 chapters.
