I had to think a lot about this:

Jichang: he's an earth bender, the Kwak family learned from the snakes to feel and hear movement on the ground.

Geongseob: water bender, the way his movements flow are similar to water benders.

Gitae: my man is a fire bender, it's written all over his face

Taesoo: his roughness and stubbornest guide him to be an earth bender, but showing his hunter side, he may be a fire bender

Jaegyeong: he's an air bender

Seokdu: earth bender, specifically metal bender

Seongji: earth bender, no doubt

James: water bender, blood manipulator

I wish we could have gotten to see more of the parent/child relationship between Rufus and his apprentices. Especially since Rufus is so stiff and semi-emotionless. It think it would have helped flesh him out as a character. But it also would have been very interesting to see how he helps raise and care for and protect these kids while he is responsible for them 9 months out of the year. I've written so many alternate universe fanfictions now where Rufus either literally or figuratively adopts Call because I'm just so intrigued by this dynamic.
