The lions should've had more personality, more sentience, more going on in terms of dynamic with their Paladins and no this is not just cause I can imagine when Lance hangs out/cleans up in the Blue Lion, he puts music on and the Blue Lion does whatever psychic equivalent of singing along she can manage and one of the other team members is sent to go get him and just stands there bewildered at the concert those two have going on, moreso that frankly it's weird to hear something singing along despite not really having a specific or distinct voice or language

My favorite part of designing this was figuring out how to work in elements of the Castle of Lions (the center) and the Black Lion (border) without losing the four corners symmetry. It's an old piece but one of my favorites.

soo i was curios as to what voltron lion i would pilot so i did soome quizes, the first one i got was the black lion and thats just 1000% not true so i did another... then another... and this is what i ended up with. WHAT DO I DO.

Faelbar isn't quite sure how sleep works, but he watched Shiro fight in and out of it many times before they could speak properly. He tries to help smooth the transition when he can.

I named all the lions for my Roots/Routes AU. Faelbar = Black! He's also quite traumatized and he and Shiro try to take care of each other.

I'm trying to learn how to color faster! This was an experiment that went really well.

Today’s second Voltron character is … THE GREEN LION!!!

Look I will only accept Allura being paladin of two of the lions, the Black Lion and the Red Lion

The Black Lion because I think it'd be interesting for her to go from a person just stepping into leading the team from afar to actively being their leader at a far closer proximity. For her to have an arc about sort of being a little worried about stepping into that leader role and proving something to herself about her abilities as one and I believe Keith being a right hand to Allura and them both supporting and leading together would be a good and interesting dynamic for them both and could parallel and healthier version of what went on with Alfor and Zarkon

And the Red Lion cause of my insane need for the colour scheme to work cause pink is just light red, and I think that on some level could work as visual foreshadowing
