Which Love 365 characters surprise you the most with their age difference?

For me it's Sentaro Kyogoku being a few months older than Hyogo Kaga and Hideki Ishigami. The fact that he is not a few years their junior blows my mind.

And, let's be honest, Toshiki Kasumi's age. Every time you put him around other characters, there's a big chance he's older. Him being 38 is the biggest plot twist.

Talk about a blast from the past! 🌟 It's been ages since I last opened the Love 365 app, but the Leading Man Awards 2023 brought back all the memories. Seeing all my beloved characters on the list hit me right in the feels - oh, how I've missed them! T-T

My post-writing epiphany this morning: I think I unconsciously drew inspiration from that one scene in Grendel where Beowulf is shoving Grendel up against a wall and yelling at him “THIS IS A WALL, FEEL THE WALL, IT IS REAL” (my terrible paraphrasing), a.k.a. the first bit of yaoi fanfic I ever consumed. (I do not know if it was intended to be yaoi, but I was in high school and it made me feel things. And weirdly I do not think my English teacher at the time would have minded me bringing up the perceived sexual tension as long as I could do it with appropriate text support.)

I don’t really remember what the point was of that scene, although I’m fairly sure it was meant to be more philosophical, but that is the primary impression I am left with. And I think I channeled that energy in my writing last night. …It’s going well.

I firmly believe that one of Voltages biggest mistakes is with one of their Titles in particular. And that title is Enchanted in the Moonlight. They have two characters that screamed Future Love Interests or Future Routes.

Those characters are Kohaku and Tsugumi. Hell, even Hikobei!

Yes, Kohaku got his two substories, BUT IT COULDVE BEEN AN ACTUAL ROUTE. HES LOVE INTEREST SHAPED, VOLTAGE!

And Tsugumi had that interaction at the end of My Secret Nursing! THAT SINGLE SPRITE! I wanted a route for him so bad!

Hikobei also could’ve been interesting too! So throw him on the missed opportunity pile!
