What your fav Skyrim Faction says about you!
(This is just for fun!!! It's a joke <3 and this is based off of all joinable factions as listed on the ES wiki)
Thieves Guild: Be gay do crime? No, be bisexual do crime
College of Winterhold: FUCKIN NERD
Bard's College: This is your fav as a meme
Imperial Legion: While you're bringing back the glory of Rome you should also take out that stack of dirty dishes by your computer.
Stormcloaks: You're either the worst type of person or the best
Dark Brotherhood: You use dark humour to cover up the fact you deeply crave connection
The Companions: Team Jacob
Dawnguard: You have a holier than thou attitude
Volkihar Clan: Don't cut yourself on all that edge 😛
Blades: This is no one's favourite
Greybeards: You read once about the existence of professional hermits in the 19th Century and have longed for that life ever since
Coven of Namira: Enjoyers of Cannibal by Ke$ha
Nightingales: You probably think Nocturnal is hot and the armour is sick. You are not wrong
House Telvanni: You are one of the cool nerds 😎
Tribal Orcs: The chillest people you'll ever meet

i remembered that the whole plot around skyrim vampires was that they were trying to Kill the Sun Forever and i cannot stop thinking about it. the fact that this effort was masterminded by harkon, who was already the most powerful type of vampire you could be and by proxy the LEAST threatened by the sun. and how fucking buck wild it is that he thought it was a good idea?? and then i thought about it vs bg3 cazador and i know this is incredibly niche i just NEED to talk about it
Sun Gone Forever is both so much ballsier and infinitely more stupid than cazador, and there's not one single positive thing to say about that man. if cazador was a harkon-level skyrim vampire he'd more or less have everything he could want, bar like, killing and taking molag bal's place, if that's possible. he wouldn't think to Destroy The SUN because worst case some vampires start acting up and he just chucks them out a window. he doesn't take sun damage at all. they could, if they're stuck out there and don't feed, but he's not in any personal danger. if only cazador knew that he could just become a skyrim vampire to chill on his porch.
trying to PERMA-KILL the SUN is just so abhorrently brainless. harkon look at me. all life depends on the sun. you will run out of blood bags near immediately. you are functionally immortal and you've had so much time to come up with a less dumbass plan, but i'd bet real tamriel money that your research consists of stick figure doodles in your diary.
at this point in this text post i've started digging into elder scrolls lore about the three(3!?) different strains of vampirism and i wasn't trying to get this deep into it, but what i've learned says that harkon would definitely already be at the top of the vampyramid. he can't turn the entire world into vampires because there'd be nothing left to feed on, he can't KILL THE SUN BECAUSE. i don't need to say it again. of course i know he fails miserably even if you side with him. the sun was never in danger. but he WANTED it gone forever and he spent most of that questline patting himself on the back for being so so cool and smart.
skyrim vampires are fucking spoiled is what i'm saying. and harkon is the stupidest motherfucker northside of skyrim. oaughh the sun is bright and annoying hiss hiss. i myself have thought the same and i'm not a vampire, you ungrateful slut. and for cazador to be out-done by a man THIS stupid. harkon has everything you want and he's the sorriest excuse of a vampire villain ever. embarrassing. i hope they're both suffering immeasurably in vampire turbo superhell

More Volkihar Hurt/Comfort. Here’s what happens if you hug them.
Serana: initially tries to push you away, but then holds onto you so tightly that she starts shaking. You feel all of her rage and heartache, all of her fear of intimacy, all of her longing for connection.
Valerica: you connect with her mind and feel a mother’s guilt and heartbreak as she lets you in. She imagines that you are her child, that she can fix you as she combs her fingers through your hair.
Garan Marethi: Does nothing. He lets you hug him, and you just feel his tiredness wash over you. You feel his appreciation, but also his longing to just be left alone.
Ronthil: starts crying as soon as your hands touch him. He doesnt put his arms around you, but he curls up with his hands against his chest and allows you to hold and sway him like a baby. He misses his mother.
Vingalmo: Acts like the hug means nothing to him, like he’s used to it. But he hesitates when you wrap your arms around him. You feel mistrust radiating from him, and when he realises you’re not trying to kill him or hurt him, he melts. He wraps his arms around you and presses his face against yours. His eyes begin to well up, and he scrunches his face up to fight the intensity.
Feran Sadri: He sighs and gives you a gentle squeeze, resting his head on your shoulder. You feel a calm resignation washing over you as your minds connect. A sad sort of understanding connecting you both. He doesnt look you in the eye when you pull away, but he does thank you.

Ok, so I haven't seen any art for this ship. Orthjolf and Vingalmo, from skyrim. In the games, they hate each other, but I swear they have bitter ex lovers tension. So I drew it

It's very funny how much wrong information Movarth Piquine gives the reader about the Volkihar clan in Immortal Blood. Either everyone writing Dawnguard was high or didn't do the necessary study when they made Volkihar Island and Castle Volkihar, as well as every important thing to the Volkihar Clan itself, be established in Western Skyrim (not impossible, i'll grant you) or Movarth was talking out of his ass.

Making a sick new Skyrim OC.
Alak’niss Rilynoth, the Arachnomancer and Champion of Mephala.
A loose relation to the once noble House of Dagoth, House Rilynoth’s sons were commonly raised to become either acolytes of Mephala or trained to become Morag Tong, whilst the daughters were carefully poised to become formidable house matrons.
Alak’niss was born female, his wild sorcery incredibly potent from birth. He was head of House Rilynoth, being the first born of his siblings, and was very carefully taught the arts of subterfuge, manipulation and seduction. As such, he thrives wherever there is court intrigue.
His transition to becoming male was not, however, seen as disgraceful by the rest of House Rilynoth: instead, with Mephala as their main deity, his transition was seen as divinely artful ‘espionage’ weaved by the Prince, herself (divine intervention, so that he would not have been wasted on being sent to the Morag Tong or a mere temple like the other males in the family), and he was thusly considered ‘spider-kissed’.
Alak’niss’ sorcery was nurtured, and his proficiencies in Illusion, Alteration and Conjuration earnt him a place at the College of Winterhold, where he subsequently began experimenting with crafting his own spells.
(Some of the ideas I have for his spellcasting include: plunging rooms into darkness, casting psychologically damaging illusion spells (such as a variant of ‘frenzy’, wherein the target hallucinates the sensation of being covered in spiders (target will attack itself and anything near in a frenzied panic), and another that can be stacked on top of ‘darkness’ wherein he uses more illusion to disorient the target though duplicating any sound he makes in multiple directions (a variant of ‘fear’, similar to DnD ‘dissonant whispers’)), binding targets with magical conjured webs, using conjuration/destruction to fire urticating poisoned hairs at targets causing them to itch uncontrollably, shifting his shape (using alteration and illusion) to become a monstrously large frostbite spider, using alteration to gain a ‘sticky fingers’ effect which involves him being able to climb walls, and potentially even shift the gravity of a room through illusion and alteration.)
But this was not the main reason he was sent to Skyrim by his House; the main reason was to seek out Mephala’s artefact, using any and all means at his disposal to obtain it.
But his quest for power for House Rilynoth does not stop there; he seeks to overthrow Clan Volkihar and obtain immortality via using subterfuge, seduction and manipulation to destroy Lord Harkon from the inside, whilst gaining the trust of the other dunmer in the castle (Garan Marethi, Feran Sadri, etc.).
And he’s got his eye on Garan Marethi.
He spent a lot of time underground with the Falmer in the quest for Auriel’s Bow, and as such, I believe he learnt how to navigate the darkness as well as they do. When in Blackreach, do as the Falmer do. Despite having night vision as a vampire, he challenges himself to navigate Blackreach with his eyes closed, relying on his other senses. So not only is he a skilled mage, he doesn’t even need to rely on his sight to engage in combat.
The Dark Brotherhood want him so bad. Practically drooling over this guy.
He militantly aids other Dunmer in Skyrim, rallying the Grey Quarter, liberating Solstheim, getting on good terms with Neloth...
I would describe him as a rather small yet athletic dark elf, with a knee-length black braid, poison-green eyes with blood-red sclerae, dusky purple-grey skin, web-like tattoos and a masculine siren-like face. He’s almost always draped in black and plum silks, dripping with gold jewellery, and he smells like a cavern, incense and gleamblossom flowers (I imagine them smelling kind of like lillies?).
Anyhow, his highest stats would be in: Illusion, Alteration, Conjuration, Speech, Alchemy and Sneak, followed by one hand weapons (though he only really uses a dagger as a last resort, i.e when his magicka runs out).
Necromancers and vampires really thought they were the most sinister things to walk Tamriel.
(And now here’s a fucking GRIM and impossibly dark beat to go with the story)
