whenever you were sad, jj always went the extra mile to make you smile without forcing you to talk about the problem ‘til you’re ready. this time around, you’re sat on the sink of your bathroom, your skincare items lined up beside you as you pout, just having finished crying off your makeup and having jj help you wash it off.

“alright, what’s the next step… next step, next step…” he mutters to himself, eyeing the miscellaneous bottles and tubs as he wiggles his fingers pensively.

“cleanse—”

“cleanser,” he interrupts louder, pretending he thought of it by himself. he gives you an obvious smile, shaking his head before surprisingly reaching for the right bottle. “knew that.”

he uncaps it, carefully pouring the liquid to make a pool in his cupped palm instead of onto a cotton pad like you usually do it. you frown, watching him dip two fingers into the watery liquid before smearing it on your face in random places like it was war paint.

“jj, that is not how you apply it—” he can hear the amused lilt to your sniffly voice, knowing his methods of entertainment had to be somewhat working on your mood and his lip flicks up into a near smile at this, pleased with himself.

“ah ah, i’ll have you know i’m the skincare professional here. i went to cosmonatology school to gain this important knowledge, thank you—”

“cosmetology.” you correct and he scoffs.

“pfft, shows how much you know.” he rubs the rest into your face before stepping back, widening his arms. “voila. see? i think this might be my calling.”

you let the smile sink onto your swollen lips, wet eyes blinking slowly like a pleased cat. you were so in love with him.

“what’s the next step?” you ask happily, softly.

“uh, lemme think, the next step.” he mutters, stepping into your space. “i think kisses, pro’lly— yeah that sounds right.” his voice drops lower as he brings you in, kissing you. jj always knew how to make you feel better.

It’s the first of December, and all Draco wants to do is make Christmas lovely for Scorpius. But then Harry Potter shows up, asking him to save the world, and it turns out they’ve almost saved the world a couple of times before. One-hundred and forty-four times, to be exact. Or: what happens after the time loop?

BICHOL, I had the absolute best time writing this fic for you. I spent about five million years trolling your bookmarks (which are hilarious & you have the best taste jfc), and lovedlovedloved pining Harry + doesn’t-believe-he-deserves-good-things Draco. Add in Scorpius and just a pinch of a plot and voila: this fic was born! Thank you so much again for pinch-hitting for Erised this year ♡

It’s only as he’s pounding on the door, Scorpius holding his hand in his most darling emerald wool cloak, that Draco begins to question his actions.

It’s too late though. Harry Potter answers it.

“Draco?” He’s still in pyjamas, red and covered in tiny fluttering Snitches. They look like childrens’ pyjamas magically sized up, with how Potter’s knobbly ankles show. “How’d you get past the Fidelius?”

Draco waggles his fingers, and says, “Loop magic?” Then he immediately remembers how absolutely idiotic Pansy looks when she does that and drops his hands to his side, lickety-split.

“Hi, Potter!” Scorpius waves.

Potter’s face lights up instantly, and the gnawing ache grows inside Draco. It’s just—how can anyone just wear their feelings on their face like that? It’s not fair: not fair to Draco, not fair to Scorpius, not fair to Potter. Not fair to Draco’s heart—144 days sounds like an eternity, but it doesn’t feel like enough for Potter to—for whatever Potter’s feeling, right there on his face, for the world to see. For Draco to see.

But Draco knows he made the right choice as soon as Potter squats onto his knees and starts chattering to Scorpius. Scorpius is unusually gregarious with Potter, and Draco wonders if perhaps the finger-waggly loop magic may actually have something to do with it—the easy way Scorpius takes Potter’s hand when it took him ages to warm up to Blaise when he’d returned from abroad. Or maybe it’s just Potter: his palpable warmth, the way he acts genuinely interested in what Scorpius has to say, how his smile lights up his whole face and his eyes say I could love you; let me love you.

hii nonniee! so yeah, for the gradients, i used this very convenient text colorizer here. and as of the steps, i'll explain more under the cut!

upon arriving at the site, this is the view:

just follow the site's steps! enter your text in Step 1, and then choose the color effects you want in Step 2, there are several options you can try:

pick the colors you want in Step 3 and i personally don't think Step 4 is important so i often skip it

here i choose the horizontal gradient and pick blue and yellow palette. afterwards it'll show you the end result in Step 5:

if you're satisfied with the color combos, you can proceed to the codes. there are 2 kinds of codes generated by the site, but to use it in tumblr post, pick the second one with "html code for this text: (to use on your website)"

copy the whole code and let's move to tumblr. write whatever first in the post as a dummy text and then pick the setting on the right & choose html:

afterwards 2 tabs will appear under your username: the "html" and "preview". we go to the "html" one and it'll show you your post's html codes

He's at 16 fps now! Smooth and slow (purposfully so) all is good exept for one frame that has his head a bit too high turns out dw I'll just have to lower it a bit

No hat nor cane bc there a seperate layer in case you coudnt tell by diffrent colors and they simply arent fully added in yet to it ToT but after that i can finally start cleaning this up, then i just gotta add the colors + dots for him add in a background and If im feeling famcy shading then voila! Im done :D

♡ In her luxurious apartment in Rome and with infinite kindness and simplicity, Claudia teaches us her very personal makeup technique and revealed her small and simple beauty advice.

🌞 Light Makeup: For the day

☆ To prepare my skin I apply a light layer of moisturizer on my forehead, cheeks and around the eyes, then I refresh my face with a little cotton wool soaked in rose water, then I apply the foundation and a semi-fluid herbal cream that hydrates the skin.

☆ With a tissue I remove the excess cream with light touches on the face, then I apply a very light powder with cotton that gives the skin a natural transparency.

☆ The eye makeup is light; I highlight the upper eyelids with a black pencil and with a dark brown pencil I outline the eyes a little outside the base of the eyelashes. A touch of pink or soft red lips finishes the makeup. Voila!

🌙 Heavy makeup: For the night

☆ Above all, you must prepare the skin so that it is soft. Again I apply my moisturizing cream and do a light massage, 20 minutes later the cream is completely absorbed, I lightly rub my face and neck with 2 cotton balls soaked with an alcohol-free herbal product. It's a little trick to keep your skin elastic, rested and fresh for several hours.

☆ I apply the foundation I use lightly, apply it to my forehead, cheeks and chin and then spread it all over my face evenly but without stretching the skin! The powder I use is colorless to highlight eye makeup.

☆ I line my eyes with black pencil, sometimes I use gel kohl: I draw a straight line on my upper eyelid highlighting the corners, I line my eyes in black a little outside the natural lash line, I fill in with dark brown pencil my eyebrows, before applying cosmetics to my upper and lower eyelashes I first powder them and then apply mascara. To shade the eyes, I have a very personal technique: I dilute a little blue or light green shadow with a little cream and spread this paste with a large, flat brush over the eyelids then apply powder on top. The lipstick is very light; natural pink color, this to highlight the eye makeup. And ready!

Did you like CC's makeup techniques? I love the simplicity and naturalness of her makeup without so much contour, shine, 3 foundations or more. I certainly do the same as CC, less is more!

Get ready for a culinary adventure with yet another scrumptious Bengali dessert that’s bound to make your taste buds dance –Khoya! This rich, creamy delight is the backbone of many Indian sweets, and trust me, once you’ve made it, you’ll feel like a dessert-making pro.

Khoya, also known as Mawa, is essentially milk reduced to its thick, magical essence. It’s like milk, but better. Imagine if milk went to the gym and got all buffed up – that’s Khoya for you!

Method 1: The Traditional Way First up, let’s go old school. This method is like the slow cooker of the Indian dessert world – it takes time, but the results are oh-so-worth-it.

Start with Milk: Grab a large pot and pour in some whole milk. The richer the milk, the creamier the Khoya. Now, bring it to a boil, but watch out – milk loves to play Houdini and disappear over the pot’s edge.

Patience is Key: Once it’s boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer. And simmer. And simmer some more. This process takes a couple of hours, so maybe catch up on your favorite show or practice your Bollywood dance moves (just kidding lol)

4. Voila!: After a couple of hours, the milk will have reduced to a thick, fudge-like consistency. Congrats, you’ve just made Khoya the traditional way! Reward yourself with a break or a cup of cha.

Method 2: The Quick Fix If you’re like me and sometimes need dessert in a hurry (we've all been there), this quick method using milk powder is your savior. It's like the fast-forward button for Khoya-making.

Start with Milk (Again): Pour whole milk into a pot and bring it to a boil. This time, you won’t have to wait forever – promise!

Add Milk Powder: Once the milk is boiling, gradually add milk powder (aka mawa powder). Stir constantly to prevent lumps. We’re aiming for smooth and creamy, not lumpy and bumpy.

Stir and Thicken: Keep stirring until the mixture thickens to that glorious Khoya consistency. This should only take about 5-10 minutes. Yes, you read that right – no more hours of stirring!

Done and Dusted: Your quick Khoya is ready! It’s like the fast food of the dessert world, but way more delicious and without the guilt.

“You sure you’ll be okay baby? You know the girls and I are always on call to help?” Y/n said helping pack her boyfriend Sy’s backpack for his next mission at his recent position, commander. “I know sugar, but i’d rather not put you into danger, ya know this” Sy huffed throwing on his boots before hotly kissing his woman goodbye and off he went.

Y/n L/n, wasn’t the most innocent, with her being head of the sniping division, she had quite the talent herself. In fact that’s how Sy and her met, they were put into the same training group at the deployment centre, and voila. Sy couldn’t help but find himself drawn to this amazing woman, not only was she able to carry herself, but Sy as well (Literally)

Now 7 months down the line the two had moved in together and were finally getting serious, until the dreaded call came. They needed Sy out there again, luckily it was only a short drive and a smaller scale task, but still all the more dangerous. Even though Sy was mean and scary to others, to Y/n he was nothing but her big baby that asked to share showers, kisses and cuddles on the daily.

“Ok I don’t have a good feeling about this” Y/n whispered to herself and calling up her fellow girls on their groupchat, watching as Sy’s truck pulled off and out of their home’s driveway. Rifling through her old gear, Y/n got out her old suit and equipment with the phone stuck between her ear and shoulder.

Steph: God did I think we would never talk again, Miss L/n

Y/n: Come on now Steph, it’s only been two months

Grace: Did commander send us a task or something?

Y/n: No but he sent Sy’s team one, a drug bust, which is unusual because how violent could it get for soldiers to be there

Sophie: Jesus there must be bombs or something, there’s no way it’s just a drug bust

Y/n: That’s what i’m sayin! Which is why I think we need to get ready girls-

Stephanie: Woah woah owah, ready for what?

Y/n: Look, all of our men are on that squad, and we know damn well their general is going to hound us for backup

Grace: She’s got a point, we are the most experienced snipers around the place

Within a half hour, all four girls were stood in the living room, strapped into their camo gear. Hairs in ponytails, heavy duty boots in tow and let’s not forget them reloading their customised weapons of war. Each different sniper sporting a different colour, each representing each woman’s aura. Y/n’s was a strong deep red, you can guess the reasoning for that.

“So what do we just wait here or something? How do we even know they’ll need us, there’s like 6 of them” Grace asked setting down her green sniper and sitting down onto the velvet white couch.

“Because of this” Y/n rushed out showing them the newest message from their commander

General L/n, assistance is needed at (insert address) Be prepared for situations 302 and 105. Mild casualties reported, enter from the side and take position. You know what to do.

“302? That means mild explosives does it not” Sophie asked looking at the phone herself, her hand reaching for her purple sniper, her fingertips tingling with anticipation and exhilaration.

“Yeah and 105, means outnumbered. Holy shit girls, we got ourselves a good one” Grace shouted getting up, the rest of them following her out of the house and into the one van they were going to use.

Reaching the destination which seemed to be a dingy old warehouse, the girls got a glimpse of the amount of men walking in and out of the building, not their own men of course. Slinging on their extra ammo and their snipers, the girls found a wide enough pipe system for them to climb up skilfully. Y/n the first one to end up onto the roof, found herself a nice little spot with an opening straight into the warehouse. Setting up her stand and sniper, peeked into her scope and saw Sy’s squad.

Oh my were they outnumbered, they were practically surrounded, all of them tied up and some were clearly bleeding out. Just how strong were these other men? I mean granted there must be 100 of them, but wow.

Y/n felt her breath hitch when she saw her man, Sy, sitting dejectedly against a pile of cardboard boxes. His face still as brave as ever, but this time sporting more than a few cuts with blood running down his face. Y/n was going to kill these sons of bitches even if it was the last thing she did.

Looking up around the roof, Y/n saw that the other three girls were also raging, all of them nodding at each other before focusing down at their targets. Y/n found her first shot, a bald man who was tattooed all over, he seemed to be the one giving the orders.

Counting down under her breath

“3, 2, 1” And the trigger went off, the bullet embedding itself into the man’s head, instantly knocking him into the ground.

“Gotcha asshole” Y/n whispered loading up her next bullet, hearing all the men down below go into chaos at who shot their boss, the other three girls taking down what was assumed to be his right hand men. Leaving only the pawns of this vigilante group, when all of a sudden, Grace found herself making eye contact with one of the men, his smirk revealing golden teeth and a horrid face.

“Shit shit shit, i’ve been spotted, we gotta go now!” Grace shouted slinging back on her gun and running to the other girls, everyone hearing the men shouting up the side of the compound before they felt the shaking of the pipe system. Their only way down.

“Ok fuck uh- we gotta jump” Y/n rushed out looking over the hole she was spying on, noticing the high stack of cardboard boxes that could break their fall.

“Ok L/n even if we jump, we have to somehow get six injured men into a van, how does that work?”

“Let me take care of that, you guys jump and get them all into the van. If i’m not there in 10 minutes, leave without me yeah?” Y/n said stepping away from the hole and putting the other girls forward towards it.

“The fuck do you mean? Sy will kill us if anything happens to you, plus we can’t just leave you. No man left behind” Steph shouted

“Look, I won’t be left behind if this fucking works ok?! Now just go!” Y/n shouted, seeing the three girls salute to her before each taking their turn to jump onto the boxes, when all of a sudden Y/n heard the sound of metal behind her. They were here.

“Well, it’s just a little lady, musta got lost?” The front man said, twirling a pistol in his hands,

Within seconds Y/n had aimed her sniper and had shot the man full force sending him off the edge of the building, “Bring it on you filthy fuckers” She shouted loading in another round and going to town at the men in front of her, whilst running about trying to dodger bullets

Grace, Sophie and Steph despite hurting their feet in the landing had now found themselves alone with their soldiers, untying them rapidly until a gruff hand pulled Sophie’s, “Where’s Y/n? I know she’s in your division. Agent L/n” Sy asked desperately limping, Sophie couldn’t help but stay quiet and instead looking towards the ceiling where they heard a loud cry say “OW FUCK SAKE” A woman’s cry.

Y/n had near wiped them out, leaving one man behind to step over the bodies of his comrades. Realising she had no more bullets left, the man smiled at the sound of the empty gun, aiming his gun towards her leg before shooting it, immediately sending her to the ground, “OW FUCK SAKE” Clutching onto her leg Y/n growled and groaned, watching the man step closer towards her, a victorious look on his face.

“Looks like you’re down sweetheart, how unfortunate, women are always pathetic” He spat laughing at her, walking back towards the pipe system, leaving her to lay there in agony.

“Not yet” Y/n groaned pulling the key out of the hand grenade she was wearing with her teeth, and throwing it as hard as she could towards him as he bent down to climb

“I need to go back for Y/n, you fuckers don’t understand-“

“No trust me we didn’t want to leave her either, but her orders were to get you guys into the van and wait ten minutes” Grace said guarding the back of the van which held the 6 grateful men, thankfully all of them only having mild injuries ranging from dislocations to cuts

*BOOM*

Shattering their conversation, everyone watched as a man's body blew up mid air, parts of the building edge being blown up to pieces. Everyone going silent at the thoughts in their heads,

"get the fuck out of my way or i'll make you" Sy growled, Grace immediately sighing and letting him step out, his now bandaged leg giving him the ability to somehow walk strongly. Sy groaned as he pulled himself up the pipe system, his heartbeat pounding in his ears at the fear of what's happened to his beloved girlfriend. His first love as well as that.

Relief filling him as he looked over the edge and saw a very much conscious and in pain

Y/n, who still had that same smirk on her face, “Told you I was here for backup baby” She shouted watching him shake his head and walk over to her,

“Don’t you ever fucking do that again, ya hear me?” Smashing his lips onto hers as if she would disappear if he didn’t hold on tight enough, that’s how he felt.

(A few weeks later)

“Baby can I have a chocolate bar please” Y/n shouted from the living room, her casted leg set up on the couch, with Aika licking at her exposed toes.

“Comin’ right up honey” Sy said walking into the kitchen before settling beside her, her head falling on his chest with his arms wrapped around her shoulder.

“So about our next mission-“

“Shut it sugar, we’re not going anywhere anymore, not after that last scenario. We are done baby”

“What do you mean done? We can’t just quit?” Y/n questioned looking up at him confused, his lips pressing soft kisses to her temple and cheeks

“Of course not, but parental leave is a thing i’m sure we could get” He shrugged smirking down at her, taking a swig of his beer before taking a deep inhale in her neck, smelling her sweet peachy scent that he oh loved so much. A bit too much actually.

“But we aren’t parents Sy- Wait- HOLD ON-“

there were a couple of times when the sales attendant would be knocking on the door and be like: SIR?? MADAM??? Each fitting room is available for only one person.

and how would picking outfits for loki be like? Well, he obviously doesn’t need fashion advice but he loves having you pick his outfits for him

he just enjoys those moments when you’d carefully arrange his collar, his tie or his outfit in general

A visual representation of what I've done most of the day; i made a concoction and cause of that my throat healed too (recipe even if no one asked : nestea's powder ice tea/ Lipton works too mixed with honey the paste is so good, add home-brewed tea after straining the leaves et voila sore throat is better) I even have tests next week but i know i'll ace it

My remedy : hot water bags, this tea and i crave chocolates during days like these so i had a chocolate filling macaroon and wrote cause its like therapy for me, along with music (i listen to any kind k pop, j pop, classical, you name it; i have it.)

hey! can i ask how you did the 3 peters edit with the circle gifs on top of the larger square gifs? i haven't been able to find any tutorials. i know how to make basic gifs, but i have no idea how to get the circle, and then how to put in on another gif.

hi there! sure, it’s a very simple process.

HOW I MADE THIS SET

have your gif ready at any size. go ahead and color + sharpen it etc., and find your ellipse tool. you might have to hold down on the rectangle tool for a few seconds for these options to pop up.

now click the ellipse tool and click on your canvas. this should now show up.

you can set it to whatever you want, for this example i’ll set it to 200px for both the width and height. you can always change the size later if you decide you want it smaller or larger! now i have this.

btw these are my settings at the top, so no stroke is added. the fill color doesn’t matter since this is just to shape the gif.

ok, now go to your other gif and edit it however you want, except resize it to the size of your ellipse layer. so i’ll resize it mine to 200px! convert it to a smart object (or select all the layers) and duplicate the gif onto your other canvas by right clicking → duplicate layer and choosing which document.

right click the layer of your smaller gif → create layer mask and voila!

u can leave it like that and call it a day, but i usually like to add a drop shadow or a stroke. so now this is what i have!

hey anon!!!! you’re not bothering me at all, don’t worry!!!! i’m going to put the entire tutorial in this ask!!!! i am going to use a simple typography clip that i recently giffed for a set that is sitting in my drafts. 

how to turn this

into this

program: photoshop (i am personally using cc 2017)  difficulty: medium (basic photoshop knowledge required)

so first things first, you’ve gotta load up your frames into photoshop! screencaps, video import, however you normally do it should work fine (i personally import my videos). so you load up the frames you’re using, crop, and resize as normal.

now, the background of this clip is has a few stripes that i want out of the way, but it’s fairly solid, which is the ideal for a gif like this. however, it’s still kinda grainy and ugly back there, so i am going to put a layer over everything and color in all around the typography with the brush tool so the background is solid (in the first screenshot, i’ve circled the paintbrush tool and the new layer tool for reference).

now, i prefer to work in timeline, so i’m gonna convert to a smart object and sharpen! this isn’t strictly necessary if you don’t like to gif this way, you can do the coloring for this gif how you normally would, with your coloring layers over your frames. 

(just for reference, because i was giffing for over half a year before i figured out where selective color is even located, in this screenshot here are the buttons for contrast & brightness and selective color, the two tools i use in this tutorial).

so now i’m gonna start coloring! for a gif like this, i’m going to up my contrast to +100, use selective color to up the black to +100, add a black and white layer, and then add another layer of contrast at +100 and selective color with black at +100.

so now my coloring layers look like this:

and my gif looks like this:

now i’m going to stick my coloring layers in a folder and add a new selective color layer above them. in this layer, i am going to put both my whites and my neutrals at -100 black.

and i am going to turn down the black coloring until i get to a shade of gray that i like (in this case, it seems to be about -89). 

now my gif looks like this!

now, you can play around with the cyan, magenta, and yellow levels in this layer to make the gif any shade of the rainbow you like! in the set i giffed this scene for, i used a lot of pastel blues, so i tinkered around with my selective coloring levels till they looked something like this.

and voila! now my gif looks like this, which is just how i wanted it!

bonus content! say you have a clip where the typography is dark and the background is light, but you want white typography and a colorful background. 

in a situation like this, what you want to do is make the background as white as possible, and the text as black as possible, and then add an adjustment level to invert!

now your gif looks like this, and you can start selective coloring like i showed you above!

I love my pink hair! I used to be scared of dyeing it but its been pink for a year and a half+. I really enjoy it, and even a kid at work apparently sees me and goes "pink haired lady is here today!" and thats real cute.

I really like how I express myself these days. Years ago I would be scared of showing emotion or interest in people, but I'm a bit more blunt and I try to be as honest as possible. If I love you I'll tell you a lot and if you're cute I'll let you know why I think so ♡.

I really like how I have a fursona now tbh. I was very scared? Of having a fursona because I thought it would be very cringe or something. Also I didnt know what I'd want to be. After talking with a coworker/friend, she said she wanted to make me a moth fursona, and voila! She's really cute and I'm love her. Her name is Vivi. This made me realize I really like Vivian as a middle name for myself as well.

I think I'm attractive! I'm fat and so fucking pretty. I generally feel fairly average but when I put on stuff that makes me feel pretty, I really feel attractive. Also I'm way more comfortable with my body while I'm nude as well, which is amazing. I'm cute, I'm flirty, I like to make sure others know they're attractive as well! I feel confident enough that most close friends have seen lewds of me since they've asked.

I'm really proud of my queerness too. I'm very out and open about being trans, bi, and demi. I'm open to polyam stuff now when it used to scare me a bit (a bad ex did a heckin' bad on me that made me scared for a while), and I like having my crushes on cute girls I talk with. Growing up as a weird scout boy in the LDS church to where I am now is wild, but I'm sure glad I'm out of that church and my own person. I've grown into a good woman, I think. ♡
