Announcement!

I will be creating French content on Tumblr, in addition to my English content.

On Tumblr, the content is mostly English, but some members of our communities don't speak much English or use Google Translate, which is not as comfortable as directly understanding the text in front of you.

So I would offer content in French, and I invite non-English speakers to do the same!

We shouldn't forget the English communities, of course! But it would be more comfortable for many of us to be able to interact without being afraid of using the wrong words 😅...

Sur Tumblr, le contenu est principalement en anglais, mais certains membres de nos communautés ne parlent pas beaucoup anglais ou utilisent Google Traduction, ce qui n'est pas aussi confortable que de comprendre directement le texte en face de soi...

Je proposerais donc du contenu en français, et j'invite les non-anglophones à faire de même!

Il ne faut pas oublier les communautés anglophones, bien sûr ! Mais il serait plus confortable pour beaucoup d'entre nous de pouvoir interagir sans avoir peur d'utiliser les mauvais mots 😅...

I totally understand what you're trying to say, and I'm disgusted that some of us are like this...I don't understand why there are therians like that... When I get tired of the hierarchical society of humans, I run away into the community and what do I see? Another hierarchical society. (this is not the case everywhere, fortunately)

I'm not part of the alter/nonhuman groups deemed "invalid" but I think it's obvious that ALL alter/nonhumans deserve respect! (except alter/nonhumans who like to hurt others and except ped0/zo0/ect alters/nonhumans, of course).

When I say all alters/nonhumans, I mean all of them!(except those specified above)!

Those who chose to be alter/nonhumans, those who did not choose to be alterhumans, fictionkins, naturesouls, objectkins, plantkins, foodkins, voidkins, physical or biological nonhumans, those whose theories are spiritual, psychological, etc.

I'm not going to create another 500-page tome, but you get the idea 😅

You can't judge a being openly, if you don't like somebeing, ignore them and move on! You're not in their head, there's no point in trying to hurt them... Put yourself in their shoes.

Hey, so like, SOME therians. By SOME, I mean the outwardly ableist. I mean the outwardly fatphobic. The ones with racism that they can't even try to hide. The judgmental therians. The therians who believe they're the only "real therians" and most other therians are just faking. Any fucking toxic therian out there. Can we really, really NOT dictate someone's identity because it's 'different'? Stop pandering to humans and start defending your therian siblings, otherkin cousins, and nonhuman relatives. Please. PLEASE.

All of that energy towards "fake therians", your fucking ableism, and judging others for even the slightest bit of variety could go towards actually speaking to a clinical lycanthrope, a physical therian, an objectkin, or any unconventional kin. You could put that hate into energy to learn, but it's just easier to criticize and hate others, huh? You don't want to accept that others that you choose not to believe exist in your reality actually do exist in your reality, huh? Get off your high horse, stop policing others' identities, and start asking yourself why the hell you've become so bitter about others existing and being themselves. Why does it bother you so much that the foxfolk is actually physically a fox? Why does it bother you that the objectkin talks about how they don't relate to your animalistic shifts? Why does it bother you that clinical lycanthropes have built a community for themselves and are thriving in the absence of ableism, and can talk about their experiences without being called "crazy", "attention-seeking", "too much", or "gross and weird"? Why are you so gobsmacked that therianthropy isn't a monolith, and that everyone around you is actually different beings with different souls, personalities, mental capabilities, talents, and more. They are just as varied as humans are. It's time to learn to accept that.

This is just becoming so fucking disgusting. I don't care how this post comes off. If you feel threatened or called out by it, ask yourself why. Maybe you're part of the problem.

Tipos de otherlink

Copinglink descreve um linktype formado como maneira de lidar com um trauma, grande estresse/dor emocional, ou alguma outra questão sendo enfrentada pelo linker.

Funlink descreve um linktype formado por diversão.

Aeslink descreve um linktype formado por motivos estéticos, como escolher se identificar como algo por considerá-lo muito bonito, ou para combinar com seu estilo, por exemplo.

Supportlink descreve um linktype formado como forma de apoio (por exemplo: emocional). Um supportlink pode proporcionar crescimento pessoal, ajudar a controlar suas emoções, entre outros possíveis usos, dependendo da experiência pessoal e das necessidades do linker.

Paroulink descreve um linktype criado como maneira de lidar com algum trauma, grande estresse/dor emocional, ou alguma outra questão (assim como copinglink), por conta de uma desconexão com a humanidade, ou como uma forma de expressar essa desconexão.

Voidlink (cunhado no aalt) descreve um linktype criado com a intenção de suprir a sensação de vazio em relação a "algo que deveria ser um type, mas não é".

Nota: Por mais que todas essas definições existam, não há nenhuma obrigação de afirmar porque um linktype foi adotado. Além disso, nada garante que haverá um rótulo, ou desejo de cunhar um rótulo, que será certo para toda motivação possível. Você pode sempre optar por referir as suas experiências apenas como "otherlinking", caso não considere uma especificação relevante :)

Fictionlink é um linktype de algum ser ou personagem fictício.

Cladolink é um linktype de algum grupo inteiro de animais, ao invés de uma única espécie.

Paleolink é um linktype de algum animal que já foi extinto.

Choicekin é o nome dado a um linktype que se tornou involuntário, se comportando como um "kintype normal". As linhas entre o que é voluntário e involuntário podem ser borradas, e há quem prefira se referir a esse tipo de type como um therio/kintype, ou seguir usando o termo "otherlink".

Nota: Choicekin é considerado um tanto controverso. I only had awakening a few months ago so I'm not sure yet 😅

But I think I have a past life because sometimes smells, sensations,... seem familiar to me even though I've never known them before and I feel nostalgia, sometimes when am alone in nature.

Very often I have species disphoria, as if I miss my old daily life

like my old body misses me

as if I miss nature and my territory

I also have shifts ; phantom shift, mental shift, perception shift, and sometime cameoshift and dreamshift.

I love having shifts, I feel closer to my animality!(even if some shifts are not very pleasant)

I've always had shifts and memories, but before, I hid them deep in my heart, so people wouldn't think I was crazy.

But the more I grew up, the less time I had to go outside, I had to stay more and more in the city, in contact with people who only think about their phones and bothering, harassing people who are different

I realized that over time, I was losing a large part of my identity. I tried to find solutions to feel more like myself, but I couldn't really

And there, I discovered the alter human community

I discovered that I am therian

It's one of the most beautiful things that happened to me in my life.

The white lady mentions in her dialogue that hornet takes after Herrah a lot but aside from the horn shape there’s... not much else (unless she meant personality, idk)

Also I think that serves to make her more distinguishable than a vessel as hornet isn’t a voidlink as her creation was more or less a result of political boning

so, here's the deal:

I, a burnt out autistic highschooler, want to create an app for therians (as a therian myself).

Here's the basic features:

A database full of information on as many animals as possible (that can and will be updated!)

Blank templates for otherkins!

Each user has a profile- public or private- and can add theriotypes and notes about those theriotypes!

A journal feature where you can add pictures, drawings, and notes to a digital journal, similar to a glorified notes app lol- and you can make certain parts of your journal public or private!

Packs!

What are packs?

Have some word soup as an explanation: Basically if you want to create a pack to either make friends or add your friends, you can submit a pack request, where you explain why you want to make a pack and if you have specific people in mind to join, and I'm thinking that I don't want it to be like everyone has their own pack or whatever so that's why it has to be approved and stuff like I don't want too many different packs. Basically it's like a discord server or an amino thingy it's a big group chat and the pack creators can set up virtual events and send out pings like "hey! Join this zoom call if you wanna do some arts and crafts!!" Or smth like that

It's a database and a community!! If you would like to help out, please please please send an ask!! I would love all the support I can get!
