I wish there was more of an otherhearted community on tumblr. I think it would be helpful. I used to think I was a cat therian, but something about it didn’t seem right, and then I came across otherhearted and that described what I was experiencing perfectly. Going into the otherhearted tag, it seems that there are several posts in there from people who seem to not know that otherhearted is not the same as otherkin.

That’s because I meditated about what my kintypes are, I realized that I’m more otherhearted than otherlink.

I was researching and I found this term called “otherhearted” that really fits to what I am experiencing.

I relate to gods and monsters, I feel like I’m them but I don’t identify as them at all.

~If you’re questioning kin~

Trying to find out if you identify with a kintype can be difficult to figure out. Here are a few tips you may be able to use if you’re trying to discover your kintype 💕:

-Do things in relation to the certain kintype (please don’t do anything that may cause harm to yourself or others, do keep it appropriate!)

-Research your kintype to find more information on it (you want to make sure that you are suited for this kintype, go in knowing that there is more to it than you probably thought.)

-Meditate on it (Meditating can be a generally extremely effective way to connect spiritually. Getting into deep thought when it comes to these things is important.)

-Don’t hesitate to reach out to others (It can be an extremely good thing to reach out to others but remember that this is your journey. Nobody else’s.)

-Make sure this is something you really want (Please, please don’t rush into this. With everything being said, this can could potentially be a lengthy process. Leading yourself to believe you are something only to later find out that you really aren’t can be extremely damaging to yourself so please give it time.)

What’s a linksona?

Unfortunately, I did’nt found a good definition of it, so here´s my interpretation!
