Traditional Restaurant Zones in Istanbul

Vodina Street, Balat Vodina Caddesi connects the up-and-coming Balat and Fener neighborhoods in Fatih, which are roughly 5-6 kilometers driving distance away from Taksim. The street and its adjacent lanes are lined with numerous cafes and restaurants, making it a worthy destination. However, it's important to note that the area has few bars and pubs, and most of the small, traditional restaurants do not serve alcoholic beverages

ASITE theories

I’ll try to summarize some ASITE theories under this post that will definitely include spoilers. If you haven’t started/finished reading please do not open.

Theory 1: Duke Teerman is Tavius reincarnated. I made another post on the parallels between them and both have an unnatural thirst for punishment and cruelty. I think it is possible the Queen who was desperate to save him strikes a deal with Kolis. Kolis was formerly the Primal of Death and retains some of his powers. Maybe he found a way to be able to reincarnate someone. Why else would it be said that the Duke was somehow connected to the First Maiden and he resented Poppy for no reason.

Theory 2: Ector is one of the gods that was not mentioned in Blood and Ash as one of the gods belonging to Nyktos’s Court. The way he immediately killed Hamid before they got to question him was suspicious.

Theory 3: the silver hawk could be Kolis. The shape-shifting powers come from Nyktos’s paternal side so it is possible Kolis can shape-shift. Or it could be one of his spies. The silver hawk keeps making appearances so he must be significant.

Theory 4: According to the prophecy, Sera is the great primal of power that rises from the desperation of the golden crowns and of mortal flesh. A first daughter full of Fire fated for the once-promised King, since JLA confirmed Sera is not the first daughter then it could be Poppy’s speculated twin, the Revenant and the once-promised King could be Malik since he was meant to be the future King of Atlantia. And of course, the second daughter full of ash and ice is Poppy and she is the other half of the future King and that is Casteel. or Maybe and I came across this on the B&A Facebook Group is... the Revenant might be Jadis’s daughter and that could connect to the “full of fire” part maybe.

Theory 5: Could there be a connection between Jalara Solis and Kolis? Is it a coincidence the Kingdom that once held the Rite for Kolis is now named Solis? The Kingdom of the Blood Crown? the Ascended? his own creation? in the first book it is said that Jalara of Vodina Isles (which was mentioned in ASITE) was able to defeat the Atlantians because Nyktos shared the blood of the gods with Jalara and his army and called it the gods’ first blessing but we know that’s a lie. Could it be Kolis?

Theory 6: Malec is a god and ascended Isbeth who was a mortal. It is said that it is forbidden to ascend those that are not chosen and are not third sons or daughters because those that ascend become Demis and they carry godlike-powers that they were never meant to have. So Isbeth would be considered a Demi, is this why she proclaims to be a god but she isn’t?

Theory 7: It is said the chosen (third sons and daughters) born in a shroud and carry a mark/essence of the gods. Kolis used them to create the Revenants and they are similar to the Ascended but how do they differ from the Revenants and the Ascended in Blood and Ash, because there is a huge difference. Ascended can be killed but the Revenants cannot be killed in Blood and Ash. So did the surviving revenants become the Ascended and if Kolis got his hands on Graeca=Sera and managed to create his revenants then those are the ones we meet in TCOGB? also about the chosen, they are used as blood bags in Blood and Ash for the Ascended but they carry an essence of the gods so what if the Crown needs them to create their Revenant army?

There's something sad about reading asite knowing that whatever challenges they face and overcome, it's not enough. Because we know in the future the ascended become so numerous they take Solis (Lasania?) and the Vodina Isles, that humans are subjugated, living mostly in poverty, their children taken, murdered. And the craven run rampant, killing and destrying everywhere they go, everyone forced to be confined in walled cities, unable to go out to do simple things like enjoy a walk in the countryside or to swim in a lake, basic things that the people of Lasania can currently do and I think that's really sad
