I love when Dan gets political because I feel like the whole youtuber thing makes us forget just how genuinely intelligent he is. Like he got into LAW SCHOOL after cramming for his exams in a day. He is incredibly eloquent and thoughtful. The “omg imagine if Dan actually became a lawyer” memes are funny, but he absolutely always had the skills required to do so successfully.

Youtube is obviously his vocation and he has an equally strong sense of comedy, but like man I just really love appreciating how smart he is!!
