Overall Summary: Like any twelve year old would, Trevor ran when he realized that someone wanted to kill him. Better put, Trevor ran when he realized that the Church wanted to kill him and had been happy to light his family's home on fire.

So he ran.

His breathing slowly evened out as he pulled it around him again, hand brushing over where the patch covered his family crest. It was a nice thought. Protective but still unhurt. Still there. His father’s cloak. His cloak.

It was enough to allow him to start to settle back down, pulling it a bit closer, when he heard the voices outside of his door.

“You cannot keep going in there alone, he-“

“Is just a child,” Lisa’s voice hissed. “We have been over this. He’s a child, and he’s been hurt. I’m not going to-“

“Keep putting yourself at risk? Yes, you are. He’s a Belmont. Just because he’s a young one does not mean he is incapable of harming you!”

The second voice was definitely male. The husband? The actual vampire? His hands tightened around his cloak as he tried to understand, realizing that this was probably him.

Ok, so in the original Bram Stoker novel, sunlight is not lethal to Dracula. He just loses most of his powers. I'm bringing this up cuz I want a horror comedy where the hero, sensing dawn, tears off the curtains as a last-ditch effort only to have the vampire go "Aw shit, there goes most of my fancy powers. Guess I'll have to beat your ass the old-fashioned way" then proceeds to just deck the hero cuz a vampire at half-strength is still a fucking vampire.

Obsessed with the idea of Castlevania from Alucard's perspective 'cause like. Imagine your dad is one of the most dangerous people on the planet but you keep forgetting about it because he's also hopelessly and pathetically devoted to your mother to the point of borderline neglecting you which kind of sucks but y'know whatever. And then your mom is brutally and publicly murdered so you head out for your dad's estate already presuming he's cooking up some pretty chill, sweet revenge, only to find out he's actually Actively Planning A Genocide against your own mother's people, of which you're also still technically a part of. So you try telling your dad that's actually Not Chill and he just fucking lunges at you, permanently scarring you and leaving you in a year long coma so now you have to kill your weirdo loser dad which sucks hard cuz y'know. You really don't have anyone else but ok.

But you're still in a coma so then you're woken up by a random mage girl who thinks you're Jesus Christ Reborn and a loser homeless boy who immediately (and homoerotically) tries to fight you and he actually manages to stab you in the gut but you think that's sexy and you ask them if they wanna help you kill your dad and now suddenly you're part of a murder polycule. So like. What I'm trying to say is 10/10 the character of all time

So I got a theory as to why Alucard went from this in the original show:

To this in Nocturne:

We’re shown in the first show that Alucard ages more or less like a human except much faster but even as an adult he’s still looks more like Lisa than Vlad. Well my theory is that eventually his human aging got to a point where he “died” and took on more of a vampiric appearance. Hence why his hair is white like an old man and why his skin is ghostly white like his dad’s.

Perfect Harmony

Megamind’s Silence

Overall Summary:

Vlad never expected to find his perfect harmony in a human that dared to knock on his door, looking to be a doctor. No one had ever thought such a thing was possible for the monster that lived in that castle, not him, not his court, and certainly not the town below. Lisa of Lupu had no such preconception. (Can be read as a standalone as this is not a sequel to any of the pieces in this series but rather an alternate POV)

He’d let it swing open under that touch, curious. At least it would be an easy meal, and perhaps some entertainment. Usually, he had to go into the village if he wanted someone to eat, or he had to figure out how to lure someone up here without attracting a hunter’s attention. Admittedly, that had also been fun.

But this was neither.

This was a young, blond woman stepping through the doors to his home without hesitation, cloak over her shoulders. Not a proper weapon in sight.

“My name is Lisa. I am from the village of Lupu. I want to be a doctor.”
