Beep boop! I haven't sent an ask in so long. I also haven't gotten any near finishing the archon quest (I don't care for spoilers though). I just got done with the tutorial on Genius Invocation TCG, and I too tired to continue playing. I just did 40 pulls on his banner and only got the new 4 star :(

I did get Childe! But now I only have 40 pity on Scara's banner :(

Childe is currently being built, he's at level 70. I have the crit rate battle pass weapon on him, and I have some decent artifacts so far.

Besides that, how are you doing?

Hi!! The archon quest for this update or the last one? I haven't even started this update, TCG is my new obsession- it's definitely time consuming though, so I'm glad you got some rest! Faruzan is pretty good, but I hope Scaramouche comes home soon </3

Ahh I know that feeling, I have around 38 pity and a 50/50 hrgfgf I doubt Scaramouche is coming home.

YESS he's so good! I've mained him since his second rerun (when I first got him) and I've never regretted it. Got his c1 just last banner!

The verse tags denote which universes the headcanon is generally seen; a lot of them overlap. I'm going to explain which each verse tag so far means under the cut bc. It gets long LOL

I'll probably make a post that explains my ideas of different verses more in depth, but for now...!

I have three universe categories:

Serious Verse: very close to canon. These headcanons mostly exist to fill in gaps, I try not to contradict anything. This has much less supernatural elements to it- mostly in regards to the ghouls. Typically in serious verse they are just humans, sometimes they're resurrected dead bodies. Either way they're generally unimportant to the story.

Supernatural verse: this one gets pretty heavy on the ghoul stuff, they are always some kind of creature from hell (or fallen angels for quint ghouls), the ministry is 100% doing actual magic rituals, and sometimes the papas have been resurrected. These verses also have more wiggle room to contradict canon (when it suits me LOL)

Silly verse: it's safe to assume most things are canon in silly verse, unless it's funnier for them not to be. I'm not sure how much I'll actually use this tag, but I wanted to have it just in case lol. Silly verse is kind of a catch all for "wouldn't it be cool if--?"

Each of these 3 categories end up with like, subcategories within them, but I don't have many fleshed out/neatly divided rn. EXCEPT for two subcategories for supernatural verse:

Masked verse: this is the one where ghouls have faces under their masks. There are other differences, but this is the most obvious one

Faceless verse: this is the one where the masks ARE the ghouls faces. The masks are the only thing binding them and keeping them together outside of the pit

At this point, I'm really wondering what wacky, terrible ideas Assassins have had to 'modernise' the H-Blades. There's no way no one has tried to make one that has threes blades, or USB sticks with virie in them.

A Hidden USB stick with a virus in it sounds like something an Erudito member who is too much of an Assassin fanboy would do. XD

They show it to Shaun and he just cringes so hard he feels so embarrassed to even be in the same room as that person.

Then Rebecca got her own because she loves the idea and because she knows Shaun hates it XD

But canon-wise, there is a three-bladed Hidden Blade but it's not exactly modernized.

Arbaaz used the Trident Blade:

It's not 3 blades, but María from the Spanish Brotherhood had a two-pronged Hidden Blade

The only modernized Hidden Blade we know of are:

The Shock Blade that Shaun used in Syndicate:

And the Composite Blade that is more or less DIY Hidden Blade using common household items that Callum made on his way to kill Alan Rikkin.

It should be noted that, as far as we know, Desmond never had a modern Hidden Blade. His blade looked a lot like Ezio's Hidden Blade so it is possible he was given his actual Hidden Blade or a replica of it originating from the Italian Brotherhood.
