Percy, Aki and Vi meet Verona (One Piece Rustage D&D)

Percy, Aki, and Vi navigated the unfamiliar streets, searching for a way to contain Jinx's powers and restore her sanity. Their quest led them through a shimmering portal, and they found themselves in a realm unlike any they had known. The skies were a deep crimson, and the air was thick with an otherworldly energy.

As they marveled at the strange landscape, a figure emerged from the shadows. Verona, the enigmatic Navigator of the Devil's Luck Pirates, gazed at them with an unreadable expression.

Percy's eyes narrowed. "We mean no harm. We're searching for a way to help our friend Jinx, who's struggling with her powers."

Verona's gaze lingered on Jinx, who was now calm, but still radiated an aura of unpredictability. "I see. You're seeking a solution to her… condition. I might be able to assist you, but first, you must prove your worth."

Aki's hand instinctively went to his sword. "What kind of proof?"

Verona smiled, her eyes glinting with mischief. "A test of your skills, of course. In this realm, we value strength and cunning. If you succeed, I'll grant you access to the ancient artifacts that might help your friend."

Vi stepped forward, determination etched on her face. "We accept your challenge. But be warned, we won't back down."

Verona chuckled, the sound sending shivers down their spines. "Oh, I'm counting on it. Let's begin. The Devil's Luck Pirates will be your judges, and the realm itself will be your arena."

As Verona vanished, the landscape shifted, and the trio found themselves facing a series of trials. Treacherous terrain, fearsome creatures, and puzzles designed to test their wits awaited them. The stakes were high, and the consequences of failure unknown.

Percy, Aki, and Vi exchanged a resolute glance. United in their quest, they charged forward, ready to face the challenges of this unforgiving realm and uncover the secrets that lay within. The Devil's Luck Pirates watched from the shadows, eager to see if these unlikely heroes would emerge victorious.

FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT!!

Even if most people are just joking, it bothers me when other people actually think it's all due to a failed relationship when the problem is actually bigger than that. Vi getting to this point isn't because she broke up with Caitlyn. She has bigger, more difficult things going on than just a failed relationship. Adding to that the most painful factor for Vi is when she fights Jinx, which is one of the factors that really affects her. She went from being protective of her sister to "hurting" her sister.

"Losing Caitlyn was the last straw, as they say"

Caitlyn was the one who got Vi out of prison, She got her out of the worst place Vi had ever been in. And Caitlyn was the last person Vi could trust and now she's gone.

I mean you can see she wasn't that miserable when she was in prison because she said herself, "The only thing that kept me going, was the thought of getting back to you." Now her sister is gone and Caitlyn is gone, the only two people left in her life. It's only natural that she would come to this point after literally losing everything.

Vi now has no hope no purpose and no one left after all the people she's lost along the way. It's really hard for Vi.

Caitlyn's little bit of swagger here is really charming, but I think I have a slightly different take on it than some.

See how it takes a second to kick in? For just a second she even looks a little self conscious - but then she reacts to Vi's reaction

She's not like "Yeah, I have a bangin' body, obviously" - she's pumped at how much Vi likes her body.
