This took a little too long & I've also been having multiple days were I've felt too exhausted to get onto my laptop to post this. Sorry about that.

I was commissioned by my friend @tay-likes-toons to make this for their rewrite/reimagening(LINK) of their fanfic(LINK) Your Favorite Martian the movie which was a fic made with the help of an RP we did to likely get some inspiration for some stuff.

The fic was meant to take place after the final episode of Your Favorite Martian the series were Puff risked house arrest(well he had to stay close if not fully in the tour bus) to have a date night with Tig. In YFM the movie Puff was able to get with Tig after getting out of jail but an incident led to their divorce & Puff living a miserable life in a run down house. At some point Puff meets a fan of the band at a bar he regularly goes to, in an attempt to show off/woo her he convinces her to travel with him to get the band back together. There does seem to be a problem though, the band split up when he went to jail so he has to go searching for them as they have moved on & got their own lives. Another issue is a mysterious person that seems to have plans for them.

The rewrite has been changed some, instead of being after the house arrest episode Puff gets arrested for drunk driving & causing some serious issues. The band broke up & left having had serious issues/life changing of their own at the time of Puff's arrest. Years later Puff is a drunk that misses the good days & his marriage is on the rocks thanks to becoming strained due to Puff becoming disillusioned. Everything seems to turn around when he meets Dimentia, a fan of his that he by chance met at a bar. She leads to Puff deciding to get the band back together to impress her(along with wanting his old life back) leading to the two going on an adventure to find the other band members who have moved on & try to convince them to come back. As they travel around & see what Deejay, Axel & Benatar are up to someone seems to have dark plans for the band.

Vincent asked me to draw everyone in the art style of gen 2/reboot YFM, it was tough but I finally got everything setup. A lot has changed since I last drew everyone, Dimentia while mostly the same as ever has had a big design change.(Link1 & Link2 to old refs)

I'm making this a little too long so I'll put some stuff under a keep reading & put the bios in posts meant to be splitting everyone up into groups. There's some extras under keep reading so hope you like it.

This started out as wanting to make a second pic of Benatar & Axel without the apron & Axel off the clock, in the end this ended up just an extras section for some stuff I wanted to draw & alt outfits.

Dimentia: This is an update of her original design for the original version of YFM the movie. This is a mix of a Kisekae version of her meant to be a ref & the design I sketched at some point.

Benatar: Exactly what it says, just a better look at him without the apron on

Axel: Axel off the clock with his hair untied & his favorite hat on. His daughter put a sticker on & he likes it cause it makes him think of Nicki.(She also put the drum sticker on his clipboard)

Pixie: This is the very first version of Pixel, Pixie was an OC Vincent made to pair with Deejay. It's also at this moment of typing that I realize I forgot her tights that have holes in them & I can't do anything about that.(Well I could with some editing) Link to reference pic of Pixie, link to sketches I made of past designs for Pixel.

"Original" Pixel: This is a design that was going to be Pixel's design for the original YFM the Movie, he's meant to be pastel goth. There were other designs that I drew them in in the past but the designs are too detailed in certain parts to try & the design refs were lost to time, in fact I remember checking something & the description mentions I had a fit over dealing with all the details. I guess you could say this is the most recent version of the design I guess.

Club outfit Pixel: This is an alt outfit for the current version of Pixel, for the club they work at with Deejay

Puff's short temper (yfm oneshot)

this is originally on wattpad but ima post it on here for the people of tumblr to enjoy bc i like how it turned out

"AW COME ON!" Puff shouted while smacking his hands onto the top of the wheel, having just been stopped by another red light. The road they were on was crossing the main road, meaning the light would stay red for an extended period of time.

"You want me to just take the wheel, man?" Deejay said from the passenger seat, reading some magazine.

"Nah uh," the midget grunted. "You keep your fatass in that seat. I have everything under contro- WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU BITCHASSES THINK YOU'RE DOING?" He suddenly piped up, jerking his head toward a couple in a little Mitsubishi Eclipse trying to awkwardly inch their way into the their lane in front of them.

"Puff, walk away," Deejay said with a stern edge to his voice. "Let me take the wheel."

"Fine!" Puff scoffed obnoxiously, smacking the dashboard with his hands and rising from his seat, swapping with Deejay. Roughly slumping down in the seat and buckling himself in, he huffed, anger not yet let off.

"Puff, you probably have IED." Axel rasped from the back seat, scritching a very content Vincent on the neck.

"The fuck is that?" Puff questioned, leaning back in his seat and turning his head to face him.

"IED stands for Intermittent Explosive Disorder, and according to Cleveland Clinic, signs of it are impulsive outbursts, road rage, racing thoughts, increased ener-"

"Yeah yeah, shut the fuck up," Puff scoffed with a dismissive wave of his hand and an eyeroll, before going back to pouting in his seat. Axel has the vastest knowledge of the most random shit, despite him not being the smartest. It was sometimes impressive. This is when Benatar claimed his turn to talk.

"Where ar' we going?" He said, taking a swig of beer he probably kept stashed somewhere in his bunk.

"Meh, just goin' to Publix." Deejay shrugged. "We're low on quite a lot of stuff."

"Puff is low on chill pills, eh?" the brit joked with a tipsy smile.

"Put a sock in it, Tea and Crumpets!" Puff barked at Ben's sarcasm, while Axel held his hand over mouth, cracking up. "Who let the skinny version of Trump drink in broad daylight?!"

"Y'all drive me crazy..." Deejay sighed, exhausted from his bandmate's bantering.

"Are there yet!?" Axel whined impatiently. "I gotta take a piss!"

"We get there when we get there, man!"

- You guys went into a forest late at night for a date and jokingly made a 3AM video, but had to cut it short because you heard some seriously funky noises in the bushes.

- Axel's got some muscle on him, so he was ready to take on anything that might have its eyes set on ya'. And by god, he could take it down.

- The two of you go to a lot of parties.

- Including ones you weren't invited to. You guys crash parties for dates honestly.

- Axel is always there if there's anyone weird around. If you don't feel comfortable going somewhere, Axel is fully willing to go with you, or help you find another place to go.

- Even though he's very rowdy and chaotic, he's a very good listener, and has frighteningly good memory. If you tell him something, he'll remember. That one customer who was rude to you 3 years ago at your part time job? He remembers you making a comment about that.

- This also extends into comfort. If you tell him you're uncomfortable with something he's done, you can guarantee that it won't happen again. He will remember

- Vincent got jealous of you spending so much time with Axel, so there was one point where you just straight up couldnt enter the van for a week because Axel had to give Vincent some time to prevent him from being so butthurt.

- He doesn't do well on fancy dinner dates, it's too much sitting still, and he's gotta keep his voice down.

- Or, really, he's just not good at any kind of dinner dates.

- But he'll still try his best for you. You matter more to him.

- Vincent ending up liking you more than Axel. Axel may seem jealous, but deep down, he's just really happy that his two favorite people get along.

Who’s your favorite character from 1?

What’s your favorite episode of 4?

So many, but I think I will always love 1.07 “1-May”. ”I wanted you and your first officer and flight attendant Crazy Lady to be the first ones on this plane to know that our armed forces killed Osama bin Laden for you tonight.” I get chills every single time I watch this episode.

What is your favorite season of 5?

Oh, season 5 I think! It was the advent of Captain Raydor and to me a good transitional season that retained the feel of the older seasons while moving toward the style of the later ones.

What’s your favorite couple of 3?

Hmm I wouldn’t say KE is a very ship-centric show, but I do find Carolyn’s “network” of past romances to be so interesting! Every relationship she cultivates is calculated and she is never ashamed and I love that.

What’s your favorite couple in 2?

Henry and Elizabeth are top ship obvi. I’m also personally here for Nadine/Mike all day long but that’s a non-starter. I’m also obsessed with the dynamics of past Nadine/Vincent (I could talk/write about that ish all day).

Oo 3.04 “And Now His Watch Has Ended” when Dany busts out the Valyrian, incinerates the slaveholders, and frees the Unsullied.

What’s your favorite episode in 5?

Hmm. “Death Warrant” in s7 was pretty bomb — Sharon Raydor wielding a beanbag gun? She ain’t had to go that hard but she did, for US.

What’s your favorite season in 2?

Season 2 for sure! The first 3 seasons in general I thought were pretty good, but I liked season 2 because the background characters had been nicely established and were granted secondary storylines that I enjoyed.

How long have you been watching 1?

I think I got into it after season 4 aired! The commitment was not, in the end, worth the payoff.

How did you get into 3?

I watched Fleabag, loved it, and declared to myself that I would consume anything, literally anything, that Phoebe Waller-Bridge ever produced. So far I have not been steered wrong.

Favorite actor in 4?

Sam Waterston! He is an absolute GEM in this show and I bawled during the last couple episodes of the series.

Which do you prefer? 1, 2 or 5?

Probably The Closer, mostly for nostalgic reasons. It’s one of the first shows I really got into, and I love that it’s *just* campy enough to keep itself humble.

Which show have you seen more of, 1 or 3?

Well there is more of GoT. (On another note, I canNOT wait for Killing Eve to return!)

Overall, which show has the better storyline, 3 or 5?

The Closer, overall. I wasn’t *crazy* about KE s2, and anyway it’s easier to keep a police procedural show going for longer without spinning it too far out of control. (Although James Duff still somehow managed to take The Closer’s spinoff series, itself a perfectly good police procedural, and spin it right off a cliff.)

Which has better theme music, 2 or 4?

Oh, The Newsroom for sure. Just hearing it makes my heart ache.
