love island !
✎ᝰ — hcs on how the bat boys (and wally :p) would act on love island
♡⃕ — bruce wayne, dick grayson, jason todd, wally west x reader
♡⃕ — genre + warnings: fluff, fluff, and more fluff <3
♡⃕ — a/n: who do yall think would be the best male islander ? I’m voting wally or jason 🧏🏽♀️
꒰ BRUCE WAYNE ꒱
Ꮺ bruce is here for one goal and one goal only, to find true love and he’ll use love island as his opportunity !!!
Ꮺ at first bruce thought it was a silly idea to go on a reality show to find love but then watching a season (or two), he realized that it might be just what he needs. a vacation in fiji where there’s no communication to the outside world and the only thing to focus on is the villa
Ꮺ I would see bruce as the bombshell everyone and I mean everyone is in love or jealous with. his introduction is smooth, his manners compliment him well, and the eye contact he makes with the girls have them heating up in the face. he would be an early on bombshell, maybe the end of week one so a lot of people consider him as an honorary og islander
Ꮺ bruce usually ends up making connections and then they wither away. he doesn’t understand why and it does start to frustrate him, he tries his best to grow a connection but he genuinely can’t seem to do it
Ꮺ thankfully, he’s grown some friendships that keeps him motivated and reminds him that there is a potential someone out there for him :)
Ꮺ buttt once he does, he’s stuck to his couple like glue and rarely leaves their side. he is there giggling and chatting with the person day in and day out, his experience in the villa swiftly changes once this person comes in
Ꮺ now casa amor…bruce is nawt playing any and I mean ANY games with casa !!! yes the reason for casa kind of makes sense but he doesn’t wanna indulge in the idea of hurting his couple or potentially damaging what he has built
Ꮺ bruce is someone who makes it to the final four and either wins or is definitely runner up. the results doesn’t phase him really since he feels like he found his person and someone he can grow to love <3
꒰ DICK GRAYSON ꒱
Ꮺ oh baby dick is here to have FUNNNNNNN. of course make some new connections but who is he to turn down a nice vacation on an island? with his busy and stressful schedule, he needs this vacation more than ever
Ꮺ dick would be an og islander and his path with finding love is what reeled in viewers. he’s done damn near every trope but oddly they don’t work in his favor :/
Ꮺ he realizes that most of the girls only get with him cause of his looks and his appeal which excited him at first but soon made him realize that these aren’t the connections he wanted. he wanted something genuine, something he could enjoy for the long run
Ꮺ I would think that he finds his love with one of the og members that he didn’t invest time in until later in the show. all his connections failed him except one and it was only labeled as a friendship until it sparked into something deeper in the last few weeks of his time in the villa
Ꮺ casa amor is what dick anticipated the most ngl, he was so ready to pack his bags and skip to casa. he wasn’t stressed about what was going on in the villa only cause he didn’t have any strong connections. I mean he brought a girl back but that didn’t last long
Ꮺ sadly dick didn’t make it to the final four and it kinda hurt him a little bit but he enjoyed the time while it lasted. also his connection with his person became stronger outside the villa and they eventually grew into a beautiful couple :)
꒰ JASON TODD ꒱
Ꮺ in jason’s head, he is here for a good time, not a long time. it became the complete opposite but that’s neither here nor there !!
Ꮺ jason just did it cause production reached out to him. how? the world may never know. however, he doesn’t regret accepting the offer cause he enjoyed it more than he thought and he met some incredible people who helped him grow as a person
Ꮺ I would say jason was a bombshell that came in about a week after the season started. He’s like an honorary og cast to the other islanders
Ꮺ sadly, jason was almost always at the bottom or vulnerable cause he couldn’t find the right connection. every girl or bombshell he connected with, something was missing, something that could complete him. though he did find it halfway through the season
Ꮺ a bombshell came through just last minute and he’s been stuck by their hip since. he was still open to new connections but this bombshell always reeled him back in, made him see what he was missing from his past connection. they’re kind to others, always laughing, and bring a soft yet joyful energy to the villa
Ꮺ now casa…ooo casa. at first jason did it only to see what the hype was about it but oh how he instantly regrets it. he acknowledged himself and made his presence with the casa girls but he instantly got the feeling that they were nothing like his connection back in the villa
Ꮺ did he do some things? ….sadly yes but immediately regret it the day after. in a “why the fuck did i do this? what is wrong with me?” type of regret. he felt even more regret when he returned to the villa and saw his couple feeling low and silently infuriated during the recoupling
Ꮺ he did own up to his actions and told them the entire thing that went down, not sugarcoating anything. also apologizing almost every time he saw them until they forgave him
Ꮺ he got into the final four and won :). viewers loved his storyline and loved the amount of growth he had throughout the show + the amount of fangirls he collected
꒰ WALLY WEST ꒱
Ꮺ thee actual lover boy in this villa and it’s so cute :(. he really came to love island for the right reasons and it’s so beautiful watching him fall in love and become a lovesick puppy around his couple
Ꮺ wally would be either an og member or a bombshell that came in after the third recoupling
Ꮺ he didn’t really think too much into it when he applied for the show. he wanted to have fun for the summer and see what this show could teach him, what didn’t expect was to have one of the most beautiful love stories everrr
Ꮺ wally’s connection weren’t too bad but for some reason he kept gravitating towards someone (you) and it would unintentional, he genuinely doesn’t know how it happens. he could be getting to know other people but still find himself under your arms, at ease and with his cheeks blushing red
Ꮺ not only that, he would always end up recoupling with them. he doesn’t understand why but he enjoys knowing how much you like him and how much he likes you
Ꮺ as time went on, he slowly stopped being interested in other people and only kept his attention on his couple. he realized after talking to the boys how he feels and they all joked about he might be falling in love, they were joking but wally felt a ping of nervousness about this “falling in love” but he couldn’t deny it to himself, even if he tried
Ꮺ wherever his couple is, there he is as well. even not in their absence, he leaves a small pout until they come back, he pretends that he wasn’t pouting beforehand but the entire villa snitched that he def was (he was so red, it was so cute but so embarrassing LMAO). he’s always smiling when talking about them, describing them with such beautiful adjectives, and all his recoupling speeches about them have the villa feeling like he was a yearning poet in his past life
Ꮺ casa….casa amor. he wasn’t too excited on the idea but the boys convinced him and he instantly regrets listening to them. the casa girls just didn’t feel right and he tried to keep all interactions on a friendship level, no matter how much the girls push themselves onto wally
Ꮺ he got all sappy and sort of become sad of not being with his couple. while his friends enjoyed, he kept them in the back of his head and wondered what they were doing in the villa. a lot of “I miss y/n” and “I wanna be with y/n”, he missed them so much to the point where he started counting down how many hours left in this casa
Ꮺ viewers loved how much wally has grown to love their couple and has showed more than minimum to be with them. even if he did had a few screw ups, he was more than sure to fix it and get back into their good graces, he can’t see them being hurt and he doesn’t wanna hurt them in anyway, shape, or form
Ꮺ I would say wally def came in second or third place. the prize really didn’t matter to him so he’s not phase by it, he’s just happy to meet someone this incredible on the island. after the show, him and his couple officially got together and ended up married years later <3
♡⃕ hey im looking for a girl in the villa. personality, any height, mrs right 😜
♡⃕ ngl, the only reason it took me song to get these out cause i was hooked on love island 🥸 (#TEAM SORDELL & TEAM KANA 🤞🏽)
♡⃕ who was yall fav islander ? yall better not say rob or aaron…
♡⃕ there is def gonna be a part two !!! I wanted to add kaldur and roy but I’m way too tired and my brain hurts rn :/

Wally's Intelligence [Analysis]
With the newest Wally 2.0 plushie, Wally mentions "I wish I could re-experience the joy and merriment of being sold again" because as I said here, he wants to be let in. The more eyes, the easier it is to obtain information. [The commercials may not be associated with the actual storyline, so this is just a little observation on my end]
Wally then slowly turns around to look at us, with a knowing hint in his voice he gives us the makeship website, except- he says "makeship dot com forward slash EYES slash WALLY" I don't know if anyone caught that. But it wasn't a coincidence. It wasn't to the actual website, it was probably another page but we can't hear the rest of what he says because Howdy is talking so DANG LOUD.
A page that doesn't exist because it's not related to the lore, but I just found it funny.
You know, even if this was part of the plot, it would only further highlight Wally's intelligence. He might process things slowly (don't I know it!) but his adaptability skills are top tier! He's able to adapt to new information quickly and within the plot, he demonstrates the ability to control the website, type, and even direct viewers to new sites.
And he uses his eyes to his advantage, to teach himself, to learn beyond his world. He's an opportunist, especially when trying to contact that one special person in the Restoration Team.
Pretty sure the rest of the puppets are aware they're in a show since they sometimes openly communicate with the narrators, and have their own commercials AND Wally and Barnaby specifically even get hosted!
All of this and yet Wally is the only one reaching out and asking the real questions. So who's really smart here?
Wally is actually so intelligent, I could cry. I think it should be a lesson to not underestimate people who are slow in speech or have difficulty understanding/doing simple things (folks with mental health illness as well!) They can and will surprise you!
Wally has quite a lot of potential that I'm sure he knows he has, so all of this underestimating of his character is humorous, really.

Classic Comic Villains: The Unnatural Selector
Pinup scan from TyrannoMax #21, Cocytus Comics, 1977
Born in a lost corner of the cosmos, the cosmic demigod known as the Unnatural Selector has but one driving concern: life and its propagation. For millions of years he has wandered the cosmos, transplanting populations and terraforming worlds to seed life in new corners of space and in his time-accelerated Genesis Engines, where he can study evolution in all its forms.
Part of this study is the "Tournament of Life," a cruel experiment where champions of a given world face a series of deadly trials and battles against disasters and the Selector's prized monstrosities. The biospheres of those that fail are scoured in a mass extinction event.
The Unnatural Selector was a regular foe of TyrannoMax, and showed up in several Cocytus Comics titles including Johannes Factotum: Professor of Practically Everything, True Life Tales of Science Fiction, and Barton's Mix-Ups!
-
A little sneak peek of a panel from an upcoming multi-page TyrannoMax comic I'm working on, reworked into a pinup. Bonus points if you can guess what the Selector is an anthro of (its not an animal, exactly.)
The Selector is a heavy edit, the main components of which are here.
As with most of my Tyrannomax stuff, the images are first composited, then reverted back to B&W lines, edited and inked, before being recolored from scratch.
I accidentally saved over the unedited background image, and Dall-E 3 is bad at archival.
I probably won't be going into this kind of detail on my process for the full pages, because this here is just one panel.
The Selector is a character concept I've had for awhile, this is just the first time I solidified a visual concept. A mysterious space god with a taste for trials and tournaments is a classic comic villain archetype, after all, and the evolution-obsessed villain fits nicely with dinosaur characters.
Might do a whole Coctyus Character Catalogue entry for him if the druthers hit me.
Prompts:
A cobra standing on a chunk of rock floating in in the cosmic void, it is reared up, threatening, facing toward the viewer, comic panel by jack kirby and john byrne, 1977, angled view
a cosmic nebula in the vague shape of a DNA double helix, comic inks by jack kirby, 1968, trippy, in the style of syd mead
A robed creature stands, one hand outstretched, palm up, toward the camera, he has a lion's head with a mane made of green flames, wearing cosmic-tech gauntlets, imposing, mysterious, foreboding, standing on a rock floating in the starry void, wide stance, standing tall, comic panel by jack kirby and wally wood, 1968, in the style of 1960s marvel comics, eerie cosmic coloration, wide angle, full body. The mood is dramatic.

i think a lot of people see welcome home as a character man vs man conflict type of horror that we the audience experience (because that’s what most mainstream horror is) but i really think it’s more of a psychological man vs fate horror that wally experiences which can be a lot harder to grasp as a viewer.
obviously I’m just speculating at this point but it seems like the horror is coming more from Wally gaining more understanding of the world/set around him, realising he’s a character in a story and feeling hollow because of it (rather than the horror coming from intentional acts of violence)
#dhmis season 2 did a similar thing and I’m still absolutely obsessed with it#welcome home#psychological horror#wally darling#i might elaborate more after work

oh! here's something funny i remembered when i was looking through the archived links doc: the old character bios mention other neighbors doing stuff with the viewer, or at least doing stuff with the viewer Independent Of Wally. after the january 14th update, though, the viewer is either not mentioned at all in most character bios or more emphasis is placed on the neighbors hanging out with each other instead. for example:
"[Julie's] segments focused on inventing and playing new games with viewers." vs. "Many of her skits and activities centered around playing games, whether they were as familiar as jump rope and hopscotch or simply made up on a whim."
"Eddie's segments would focus on arts and craft projects he would teach the viewer how to create for themselves." vs. "Eddie's segments would often focus on arts and craft projects he would teach the other residents, which typically kept him behind the post office counter top."
the only new bios that still mention interaction with the viewer specifically are sally's bio (ex. "The residents would act stories out on a stage, either for the viewer or other neighbors, that would be displayed in the show as story time segments.") and, of course, wally's. i dunno if that, like, means anything in the grand scheme of things, especially since the viewer learning alongside wally probably does necessitate interaction with the other neighbors, but i still think it's interesting. in a way it makes wally feel just a bit more.. distant? from the rest of the neighbors. so close to the Otherworldly that the only way his peers can even glimpse it is through Him, and even then, it feels unlikely that they experience it the same way he does.
much to think about.

Welcome Home: Sleep Deprived AU
Welcome to the Sleep Deprived AU! I plan on making this a comic series but it will take me some time to work on it. For now, I wanted to post an introduction for everyone before I start working on the comics. Description is below:
This AU starts off with Human!Wally who suffers from sleep deprivation and insomnia. The cause of his sleep deprivation is unknown. Due to this, Wally suffers from effects such as paranoia, hallucinations delusions, mood swings, and lethargy/weakness. The main idea is that Wally begins to believe that he is a puppet rather than human . Puppet!Wally is aware that he is on a tv show and is being watched by a multitude of viewers. Home, the neighborhood, and his friends are not real but we’re imagined by Wally as a coping mechanism. His friends are based off his actual friends but they were found to be murdered overtime, each case presenting unique ways the murderer carried out the crime. This event is what triggered Wally’s nightmares thus leading to his sleep issues and paranoia. This AU focuses on his nightmares, experiences related to his insomnia, and his coping mechanisms.

I think Wally exists in like... not the physical puppet, but in the show itself. Each episode as played on TV is what he experiences, and for a long time he happily stuck to his script, it didn't even occur to him to do anything else. But one day it did occur to him. And then he could never un-think the idea that he could do something other than what he was supposed to.
So instead he started noticing, saw more and more. Saw that "Neighbor" wasn't really there when he talked to (at) them, saw that the houses didn't have all their walls, that he didn't really paint, he just messed with the brush and images would appear.
That none of his dear friends could tell anything was wrong, and trying to tell them himself just made them worry before they forgot again.
And then he slowly became aware that Neighbor was there, and if he looked at precisely the right angle he could see them, just barely. And that's what eventually made the show stop running, because suddenly no matter how they recorded it or what episode they played Wally kept looking directly at the viewer and not doing what he was meant to do.
So he stopped existing for a while, with no episodes playing for him to live inside, until they made that website. It's just another medium, after all. It took a while to notice he existed within it since it was different than TV, but he already had plenty of practice with noticing things. And oh, the more he looks, the more he experiments, the more he can actually communicate! How wonderful! To be able to talk to his best friend, the only other person in his life who has ever changed.
It’s okay that they don’t always talk back. It took him a long time to notice what was going on, maybe it’s just taking them a long time too. Maybe they’re forgetting, he used to forget sometimes, early on. He’ll be happy to remind them.

Young Justice Watch Experience
"Good evening viewers!" "Good evening"
"Right, now Young Justice! Tonight we will be carrying on from where we got to last week when I was showing you how your superhero faves cannot win against the Light."
"You said we wouldn't do the Light again this week"
"Whadya mean?"
"We done the Light for the last 40 weeks. Can't we try something else?"
"Like if the teams got to interact with their mentor figures."
"Oh oh oh! Want to have character interactions, eh? The Light not good enough for you, eh? Well next time a control-chipped meta comes at you with a fireball, don't come cryin to me!"
"Right, the Light! When the Light lunges at you with the Judas Contract, like thus-"
"We done the Judas Contract."
"What?"
"We done the Judas Contract. We done mind control, human experimentation, trafficking-" "Child and adult!" "-the deep state, alien invasions, the adults being gone, batman going cia mode, social media trends, Wally dying, the Judas Contract, cheating, and the heroes never getting a W."
"How about Martians?" "We done them!" "White and Green?" "Yes!" ".....Alright then..... Geoforce. We haven't done Geoforce have we?" ".... No...." "Right! How to show Geoforce confronting his major antagonist! Now it's quite simple to deal with his major antagonist; first of all, you have to force him to drop the stone skin. Then you melt the stoneskin, thus disarming him!" "Suppose it regenerates." "Shut up!" "Suppose one of his mentor figures shows up." "Shut up!" "Now, I'll be Geoforce! You, Baron Bedlam, come at me! Come on, attack me!"
"Next, I melt the stoneskin."
#young justice#the cartoon not the comic#it was just.... so draining to watch#literally who gives a shit about the light like fuck OFFFFF#having the justice league just be in space for a whole season is so fucking annoying because it's like#'yeah we THOUGHT about having interesting character interactions but then decided not to do that'#also it's so draining for the heroes to literally never get a dub that wasn't planned by the light#it's so fucking boring man#spoilers for season 3 ig#young justice outsiders

NMTDaily: Q&A for the Benaddickts
- This is interesting. With this first answer, Ben is talking about Claudio, but he’s really talking about himself, wanting only to love people from afar because that way you never experience pain and heartbreak. He is really really scared of rejection, of opening up and being hurt in return. He’s also a romantic against his better judgement, listen to how wistful he got on “love them”. (This is all deeply relatable to me.)
- It’s also an answer to Bea’s Single Pringle video: we saw why Bea doesn’t like relationships, now we see why Ben doesn’t like them.
- “And i am not gonna let that happen to Claudio” oh, honey, Claudio is not the one you need to worry about. *smash cut to Ben wrapped in a blanket and moping about love in a future episode*
- Rewatching this made me go add a Coldplay song to my Beadick playlist. (It was Fix You. Listen to that, think of the aftermath of Hero’s Birthday, feel your feels and thank me later!)
- “When did you meet Beatrice?” *hems and haws and pretends not to remember*
- I see you, you know exactly when you met her and it’s been burned into your brain ever since.
- “We tried to do a blood oath” is very rich Ben and Pedro friendship background information. It says so much, I love it. Sworn brothers.
- The way Ben smiles when talking about hitting it off with Beatrice and spending that first summer together! He is still so fond of her and of those memories. “It was great fun actually”- she was his best friend, that’s how they began. He adored her.
- He genuinely didn’t understand what he did wrong to make her turn away. “It suddenly felt like she really meant all those insults we were bantering around with” and THIS is why Ben is afraid of opening up to people and convinced no one really likes him. Someone he really liked and cared about seemed to turn on him overnight, and he has always deeply felt that it must be because there’s something wrong with him. And it kills me.
- I think Ben says dogs at least partly because he knows Bea would say cats- despite the fact that he has a cat! Also, we love a good self-referential inside joke costume choice with the Jake the Dog shirt 😉
- The Wally/Waldo costume and the upcoming “When will Claudio return from the supermarket” are so good. I love this nerd.
- The running Christopher Marlowe bit is also a delightful adaptational choice. Also, Ben is already a classic literature nerd! We love to see it and it will come back in Lolilo!
- Must have been insanely difficult to be uprooted to a new country as a young kid without even getting a clear reason why. I mean, every piece of backstory makes me want to hug Ben more.
- The accents! Another moment where my entire being is cringing, but still fun.
- Canonizing Ben being part Scottish! Another nod to the actor of course. (I made a post about this, but his Celticness theoretically giving him a solid shot at being able to correctly pronounce my Irish Gaelic first name from written makes me very happy. I came into the fandom after Ben’s second QnA went up, so I never had a chance at getting a question answered which could’ve told me for sure. Alas.)
- He mentioned Blanche Du Bois, and like, why isn’t Ben a theater kid? Why didn’t he get to do Faustus in Lolilo? (I know, the anxiety, same reason I didn’t do theater in college, but still!)
- I always notice that “cannae” and how he pauses and tries to not say it but can’t help it and says it again. Another Parradawks moment there.
- Aww I love you too, you dork. (‘Benaddickts’ as a name for the viewers always gets me, what a good adaptational/character choice. And a bit of a read on me, let’s be real.)
- Why would Claudio leave to go to the store in the middle of hanging out with Ben and stay gone long enough that Ben has time to film this whole video? I’m overthinking the bit, but it’s weird. Secret date with Hero that Ben can’t crash, maybe?
- When will my husband return from the war? *bi flag heart emojis here*

So. I like all your Wally x reader stories so far and you and some other writers have made me feel inspired again (I’ve been in a funk for a while. Last time I helped with writing or any writing was when riverdale came out). I just wanted to know since I love your plots and such. If I ask for some advice or if it is alright could I get some? I know you have your own writing. I just wanted to ask !
Advice... hmmm... I don't necessarily have that much advice to give other than things I like to do with my characters, so I guess it will mostly be character advice!
A little kinda explanation for a couple things I've seen repeatedly asked (mostly how I write so quick) that I feel kinda goes along with why I don't have a lot of advice is that I just spend the majority of my days rn daydreaming and drawing. So like... I probably come up with a million, heavily detailed characters and storylines in a day that I usually never get out into the world. Are these characters good? Idk. I think I just like having an outlet to share them, which is why I write so fast. Because of that, the majority of my stories aren't planned out beforehand, but I know that not everyone can do that. For me it is just that I am so used to it, I don't think about it anymore.
Anyways, onto the main (very messily explained) advice! It probably won't be that good, so you don't have to take it if you don't like it. Lol.
•If you are going to add something in, I recommend looking some stuff up about it. I usually like to write more about characters and their psychology, so I sometimes look up stuff like "Can hallucinations be impacted by this?" Or "What types of people do cults go after?" It might feel odd to look up such strange things, but I am pretty sure the majority of authors, both professional and those who do it as a hobby, look up random stuff that would be very weird. You could also just use an incognito tab while searching things. This is especially important when involving serious topics.
•I try to make my characters have some sort of rational thinking, but some have exceptions based on context. The only exception, so far, seems to be puppet Wally (at points), because he is meant to be a character in a children's show. Children's show characters, a lot of the time, seem very naive and innocent, to an understandable, cartoon-ish degree (because they are from a cartoon). It makes sense to make them an exception. A lot of the times, children's shows try to teach rational thinking, and since Wally apparently learns alongside the viewer a lot of the time, he wouldn't have the best rational thinking skills. But for human adults, like the reader, being able to use reason when thinking and making decisions would already be a learned skill. A big reason I try to think through a character's actions using reason is because, at least for me, a character doing something that seems unreasonable will pull me out of the story.
•The above piece of advice is basically for any trait I guess? Try to give your character a reason for skills or knowledge. Do they know how to use an axe? Maybe they work as a lumberjack, or were taught as a child and retained the skill. Do they have a fear of something, like dogs? Why do they fear dogs? Did they have a bad experience? Those sorts of things go a long way in making a character interesting, in my opinion.
•Making characters do reasonable things, especially in horror, is good and won't ruin the story if done right. This kinda goes alongside rational thinking. A lot of people think that if characters in horror do something reasonable, like call the police, it would make the story less fun. That isn't the case! You can still find ways to make it fun and exciting. Using the police example, you can build on the suspense of when the police will arrive, or, if you really don't want to use the police as part of the solution, make it so the police find nothing to make an investigation. That way, it gives a reason for your character to not trust them the next time calling the police is an option.
•I also try my best, when making x Readers, to make it as gender inclusive as possible. Of course, you don't have to if you don't feel comfortable writing gender neutral readers or only prefer to write for one gender of reader. Often I find a lot of x Readers that use a female reader (sometimes a male, more often paired with a female character), so it can be hard to find gender neutral ones. I think it is either more common in Welcome Home to write gender neutral readers or it might just be becoming more common in general, but I still think it is worth mentioning. It not only makes it more inclusive for LGBTQ+ audiences, but it allows for more people in general to relate to the reader and read your story without trouble.
•Also, don't be afraid to write character x character fanfiction! They aren't necessarily my cup of tea in fanfiction, but many people like them! Also, if you do intend to try to become a writer of your own, original stories, it might be good practice. Even just writing small interactions will help. Once you get more accustomed to it, your character interactions will become more believable, thus making the story more interesting.

Original Molo's story wasn't always happy. Never was, knowing me. (WARNING!! Following content includes the talk of consent, mentions of rape and sexual assault, and abuse.)
---
In his character guide, kids don't ever see the innuendo of something terribly wrong with the character. Just a fun loving British moth who transferred all the way from the UK with a masters degree in dancing. But parents as they watched the show found something else.
Molo was a character of confidence, grace, beauty, and kindness. He was cocky, flirty, a bit of an asshole but nothing too serious. He was kind to his neighbors and that's all parents really cared for. A character that could role model their children.
But, unknowingly, he resided with older audiences a little too heavily.
Teens who had went through traumatic experiences resided with him, and eventually, there was a deleted episode that rolled out. It was a special episode that only lasted a week on air before being cut short, and DVDs of the episode were scarce, but thankfully one person got ahold of one. Now we will share it to the world.
---
The episode started in normal fashion, the big 'Welcome Home' title in front before fading to the front of Home. The building's window shutters abruptly flapping open and closing, before adverting it's pupils elsewhere. Usually Wally Darling, the most beloved neighbour to all the children would have come out by now. But as the camera panned it showed that the episode wasn't about Wally. Not today.
It panned to the pink rosy maple moth from the old cartoon, 'Silky Moth', a comedy slapstick that was canceled just a few months after Welcome Home aired. His smile as big as ever, blue pupils expanding in the center of black sclera. Then, he motioned to a blank paper chart next to him, turning it around to reveal the word. "Consent."
"Today's episode may be too sensitive for littluns, I reckon it would be best if they were to leave the room."
His accent, adored by many, was more serious than the rest of the light-hearted episodes he's been apart in. The scene waited minutes, as if waiting for parents and teens to usher kids and younger siblings out of the room before Molo spoke again.
When he did, he pointed to the white paper.
"Assuming the children are out, parents. This topic is also incredibly sensitive. It is about consent, and is meant for older kids such as fourteen to fifteen years of age. If you can not handle the talk of assault, non-consented actions, and adult topics, I absolutely recommend you turn off the telly and spend the day with your kin. Otherwise, parents and teens alike, if you are alright with the topic. We shall proceed."
Another few minutes pass, aswell as a disclaimer at the bottom in bright, bold text, "VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED!"
"We will talk about consent." He repeated, wings fluttering behind him as the scenery around him turned pure white. "Consent, if you do not know, is asking for permission. If someone does not give you permission, or says no, you are not allowed to proceed with your actions. Even if you so desperately crave to."
He took steps away from the paper, and towards the TV screen.
"Some of you could have been victims of non-consented actions, whether sexual, physical, mental, you all have a voice and have a valid reason to speak your mind against it."
He faded, yet his face was still there as images of simply drawn sandwiches appeared in front of the screen, drawn in crayon. It was obviously Wally who was drawing it, his art style recognizable to many adults and teens who watched the show.
"Take consent as, someone is asking you for a sandwich. Your answer depends on their actions. If you say yes to the sandwich, they may give you the sandwich."
The camera clipped and showed a new picture of someone eating a sandwich, then changed again to a half eaten sandwich.
"You do not have to eat the whole sandwich, you can say 'no thank you' even when you've accepted the sandwich."
The camera panned to a drawing of Molo refusing the sandwich.
"If someone says no to the offer of a sandwich, that is okay. You cannot force the person to eat the sandwich." The camera clicked to someone force feeding a childishly drawn Molo a sandwich. "You cannot unconsciously feed a person a sandwich." Another one of Molo being forced to eat the sandwich whilst unconscious. "Even if the person isn't feeling well, er-, we'll just say they drank a bit too much. They cannot accept your sandwich."
The camera panned back to Molo.
"Consent is important during relationships, romantic, platonic, familial. Somebody needs consent to go through your things, somebody needs consent to see something personal to you."
His eyes went blank.
"They need consent when touching you."
Then the background faded back to the simple background everyone was accustomed to, showing Julie walking down the sidewalk and Sally stopping her.
"My, Julie! This extravagant day has been becoming even more marvelous every second that passes!"
Sally twirled, holding a flower in her grasp before outstretching her hands.
"You must smell this flower dear!"
"Oh, no thank you!"
"But you must! It has such a beautiful fragrance!"
"I'm alright Sally, I don't want to smell the flower!"
"Just once?"
The scene stopped and panned back to Molo.
"Sally is not accepting Julie's 'No', like the sandwiches, Sally has to ask if Julie wants to smell the flower. Julie can say no to that matter, and it be left at that."
He turned to the camera.
"Let me show you a way that is better."
The camera panned back to Julie and Sally.
"My, Julie! This extravagant day has been becoming even more marvelous every second that passes!"
Sally twirled around once again like she did before, then lifting her arms to put the flower in Julie's view. Not directly in her face, nothing like that.
"Would you like to smell a beautiful flower I found?"
"No thank you, Sally!"
"Oh!" Sally paused, lowering the flower. "Alright! You said no, I can't force you darling!" Then she walked away.
The camera faded back to white, and Molo stood in the center.
"Now, Sally is listening to Julie's 'no'. And has left the topic alone. She did not force it upon Julie, she did not go against Julie's wishes. She was polite about it."
Molo paused, seemingly staring at the camera for a long moment. His face fell from a smile and his hands quickly reached to grab his arms. You could see Wally's hand reach into frame before Molo pipped up again.
"You can say no for simple things, or for big things."
He stopped again, eyes casting downwards as he gripped onto his arms tighter.
I told myself I was ready for this.
He glanced back up at the camera with a more strained smile.
"No matter what, you have a say. If you feel uncomfortable, if you do not want whatever is being offered, if you do not accept their plea. You can always say no. Not give them your consent."
Molo looked like he was going to pass out, having to take a step back as he tried to get oxygen rushing to his head again. He couldn't. He collapsed onto his knees after minutes of silence, and quickly did the little neighborhood darling come running to sit next to Molo. Nothing he could say would make it better, nothing he could say would erase the past of his dear friend.
Molo turned his eyes to Wally slowly, staring at him for a moment before holding onto the plush man as tightly as possible.
The screen faded to black with the words 'Tell an adult if you experience anything that makes you uncomfortable. Call your local police department if you've been assaulted.'
----
The episode was taken off air for being too serious for children, and too serious for the TV show. Aswell as giving major hints of a character that had been sexually assaulted and possibly even had been raped. However, Molo was kept in the show due to being a fan favourite, and artists put a small Easter egg and glimmer of hope for victims alike.
Inside of Molo's house, which was only shown for a few episodes called 'nightlight fun' and 'Mary-Go-Round', there was a big hanging picture of a woman with snakes as hair. A sign of Medusa. A symbol of a survivor.
---
For people who love Molo as a character, an oc, he was in fact assaulted many times. He was pressured into sending images, intoxication that lead to something incredibly dangerous, and was never listened to. He wanted to share his experience nonchalantly, and tell teens of all kinds that it is alright to speak up. That he supports it, and encourages victims to speak out and scream to the world, even when he never got to.
I'm a victim of SA, and had resonated that within my OC and told a small part of my story with his.
Molo Moth is 26 years old, when his case started, he was only 16. He's still trying to heal. He has a voice, and wanted to share it.

Wally Darling is up First!
Alrighty, first up of course is Wally Darling!
Wally is usually very energetic and seems always eager to do things, seemingly hates to do nothing and waste his day away. Is a trickster despite not understanding certain jokes and sarcasm, he's very good at pulling pranks and no one seems to be able to pull one on him. Hangs out with Barnaby mostly but sometimes he'll be with Howdy or surprisingly Frank. He likes to mess with Howdy the most and Frank makes a good reading buddy. He will sometimes be dragged into Sally's plays or shenanigans that her and Julie like to play on the neighborhood, he doesn't mind its entertaining at least. For how long the show has been on air Wally has been through quite a lot of outfit changes. Although he always ends up with his red scarf and rainbow pants no matter the outfit. After two decades of the same hairstyle Wally, with some encouragement from some viewers he changed it. Normally keeps it simple but sometimes will do wacky styles simply for a laugh. Will usually wear his famous pompadour for special occasions such as birthdays or the show's anniversary. Over the many years Wally has also dipped his toes into multiple artistic mediums though painting will always be his go to medium. Oil paints are a close second but only by a smidge, will often have some smeared paint on his cheeks or forehead. Has a habit of giving everyone a nickname regardless of if they like it or not. Is the second smallest puppet in the neighborhood.
Wally knows of the world outside of the show but doesn't bring it up he just lets it fester in the back of his mind. Mostly due to a series of unfortunate experiences he's went through he actively steers others away from entertaining the idea, hoping to prevent them from being punished by Home. He frequently couch-hops between all the neighbors due to becoming uncomfortable sleeping inside of Home for more than a few days at a time. Can't sleep very well inside of Home due to said sentient house's whispers and seeing the strange abilities Home uses during the late hours of the night. Along with the punishment Home had dished out to him Wally has also had the misfortune to meet the humans Home pulls into the show, though most of these humans were very violent when escaping home. They are the reason Wally's found out about what his insides look like and the fact he can bleed, most of the wounds have healed perfectly besides a few on his lower arms and hands. He has to be careful with them or the stitching will come out and he'll start bleeding again, not a pleasant sight. When it comes to Haunts Wally has only really ever heard of them like, the sounds they make and the sound of them moving around outside. From what Frank and Howdy have told him he's alright with just knowing them through sounds rather than what they look like. The main reason behind Wally having never seen Haunts before is because they hide when he's looking. Since they are human souls driven a bit mad they do have some memories intact, mainly of the entire neighborhood and the feelings attached to them. They feel disgusting and very anxious at the idea of Wally seeing them like they are currently[one reason why they are so hellbent on getting a body]. He's also noticed an odd scorched spiral marking on the basement floor but can't figure out how or why its there, tends to ignore it since it gives him an odd chilly sensation down his back.
#welcome home au#WH Lost Media AU#Wally's full info blurb#him Howdy and Frank are the only three with head shots#because I got frustrated and tired so I did full body refs for everyone else

ChatGPT Answer:
Here’s a detailed, point-by-point explanation of why Rosario Dawson, Hilary Swank, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Cobie Smulders, and Lauren London should reach out to Jenna Ortega, Chloë Grace Moretz, Jacob Tremblay, Noah Jupe, and Quvenzhané Wallis for lead roles in The Meteor Man reboot, along with other key elements of this project:
1. Why These Actors?
Jenna Ortega: Known for her roles in Wednesday and Scream, Jenna has a strong connection with teenage and young adult audiences. Her experience in dark, quirky, and action-oriented roles makes her ideal for a superhero character.
Chloë Grace Moretz: With her history in action films like Kick-Ass, Chloë brings both acting experience and credibility in portraying young superheroes. Her presence can also attract fans of her earlier work.
Jacob Tremblay: A talented young actor (Room, Wonder), Jacob can add emotional depth and relatability to the ensemble. He’s proven his ability to connect with both younger and older audiences.
Noah Jupe: As seen in A Quiet Place and Honey Boy, Noah excels in portraying vulnerability and resilience. These traits are vital for a teenager grappling with newfound powers.
Quvenzhané Wallis: An Oscar-nominated actress (Beasts of the Southern Wild), Quvenzhané is perfect for bringing a fresh, dynamic presence to the team, ensuring diversity and richness in storytelling.
2. The Reimagined Storyline
Unlike the original The Meteor Man (1993), this reboot shifts the focus to a group of teenagers who gain extraordinary powers. The title, The Meteor Youth, reflects this generational shift and positions the film to resonate with today's global teenage audience.
By incorporating themes like teamwork, self-discovery, and modern-day challenges (e.g., environmentalism or social justice), the film adds depth while staying entertaining.
3. Target Audience and Franchise Potential
The teenage focus ensures a broad, international appeal. Young viewers relate to characters of their age and life stage.
The ensemble cast and potential storylines pave the way for sequels, spinoffs, and even multimedia expansions (comics, video games, streaming series). This creates a billion-dollar franchise opportunity.
4. Skip Woods and James DeMonaco as Screenwriters
Skip Woods: Known for high-action films (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Hitman), Woods brings expertise in crafting fast-paced, visually dynamic scripts. Writing for a younger audience is a new challenge but aligns with his strengths in action storytelling.
James DeMonaco: As the creator of The Purge franchise, DeMonaco excels in building worlds and tension. His addition ensures the screenplay balances action with engaging character development.
Collaboration Benefits: If Woods feels overwhelmed, teaming with DeMonaco allows for shared creative input, a division of workload, and innovative ideas that blend their unique styles.
5. Involving Jim Carrey
Why Jim Carrey? His iconic PG-13 performances in The Mask and Bruce Almighty demonstrate his ability to balance humor, action, and emotional depth. Carrey’s understanding of storytelling for younger audiences can guide tone, pacing, and character arcs.
Mentorship Role: Carrey could act as a creative consultant, providing advice on making the film universally appealing and helping the younger cast navigate their roles with comedic timing and dramatic flair.
6. Cultural and Market Appeal
The ensemble cast ensures diversity, with actors from different backgrounds representing a global audience.
By incorporating universal themes and visually stunning action sequences, The Meteor Youth appeals to teenagers across cultural boundaries.
7. Execution Strategy
Step 1: Reach out to the actors and their teams, presenting the vision of the film as a reimagined superhero story for teenagers.
Step 2: Secure Skip Woods and James DeMonaco for the screenplay and provide clear guidance on the youthful tone and action-packed pacing required.
Step 3: Engage Jim Carrey for creative insights, leveraging his experience in PG-13 blockbusters.
Step 4: Plan for sequels and merchandise to maximize franchise potential from the outset.
Conclusion
The Meteor Youth reboot has the potential to become a game-changing superhero franchise. By assembling a young, talented cast, engaging seasoned screenwriters, and involving a creative powerhouse like Jim Carrey, the film can captivate audiences, ensure critical acclaim, and secure commercial success. This collaborative effort aligns perfectly with today’s demand for inclusive, youthful, and action-driven cinematic experiences.
