Simulate Visible Atmosphere with Lighting.Build a virtual Light Array for Music Videos.Don’t forget, the money that you give your litigators are the monies you could be giving your children, or using for your retirement. But, if you can’t get over the frustration, anger, and bad feelings that dealing with your spouse brings, then maybe the court road is in your future. So, will divorce mediation work for you? If you can put aside your anger, frustration and differences to sit down with your spouse and work out the Parenting Agreement, Financial Agreement, and the “who gets what agreement” then mediation may be able to work for you. As we all have read, the higher the net worth, the more expensive the divorce. General costs on litigated divorces have been significantly higher, dependent upon the net worth of the couple. So before the process starts, each side’s attorney will almost get the equivalent of what it would take to resolve the issues and walk away with an agreement under mediation. If we compare this to the litigation road, the initial down payment for many of the attorneys will be $2500, and that would be multiplied by both husband and wife. So, within mediation, it is possible to get divorced and resolve all the marital issues for approximately $3000 – $4200.
#ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS VIDEO COPILOT OPTICAL FLARES PLUS#
If the problems could be resolved in 8 hours, then the costs may range from $2000 – $3200 plus the cost of the Agreement, which averages about $500, and court costs, which are approximately $500 as well. When looking at mediation as an alternative to lawyers and the courtroom, one of the major questions has to be costs, or, “what will the mediation cost me in comparison to the lawyers and courtroom scenario?” While this is also dependent upon the assets which you may have, such as children, homes, cars, 401K’s, and personal possessions, since each of these areas need to be dealt with be it in the courtroom or in mediation, generally mediation costs approximately $250-$400/hour. If you plan to go into the process expecting the work to be performed by others, with little preparation or facts, then mediation may not be the solution for your situation. If you are willing to devote the time, the period of negotiation with your spouse, quite possibly attorney fees if necessary, and the mediator fees, it then becomes a route that could be very successful. Like anything else in life, it is what you put into it, which will help determine your outcome. Mediation is not an easy process and requires diligence and time. Which way is best for your situation becomes a function of what you hope to gain via the courtroom process compared to what you will gain via the mediation sessions. Within the legal courtroom system, the judge drives the process and is the decision maker. Conceptually, if you can resolve the problems within the mediation process, your costs will be lower, you will make the decisions, and you will guide the progression of the meetings. Some states, such as Florida, require the parties to attend a mediation session prior to the courtroom procedures. Mediation is a lower cost alternative to divorce attorneys and litigation, or it may be a part of your attorney’s process for divorce. As you consider the divorce process, one of the questions that you will ask is about mediation and whether it will work for you.

This is it. Generative AI, as a commercial tech phenomenon, has reached its apex. The hype is evaporating. The tech is too unreliable, too often. The vibes are terrible. The air is escaping from the bubble. To me, the question is more about whether the air will rush out all at once, sending the tech sector careening downward like a balloon that someone blew up, failed to tie off properly, and let go—or more slowly, shrinking down to size in gradual sputters, while emitting embarrassing fart sounds, like a balloon being deliberately pinched around the opening by a smirking teenager. But come on. The jig is up. The technology that was at this time last year being somberly touted as so powerful that it posed an existential threat to humanity is now worrying investors because it is apparently incapable of generating passable marketing emails reliably enough. We’ve had at least a year of companies shelling out for business-grade generative AI, and the results—painted as shinily as possible from a banking and investment sector that would love nothing more than a new technology that can automate office work and creative labor—are one big “meh.” As a Bloomberg story put it last week, “Big Tech Fails to Convince Wall Street That AI Is Paying Off.” From the piece: Amazon.com Inc., Microsoft Corp. and Alphabet Inc. had one job heading into this earnings season: show that the billions of dollars they’ve each sunk into the infrastructure propelling the artificial intelligence boom is translating into real sales. In the eyes of Wall Street, they disappointed. Shares in Google owner Alphabet have fallen 7.4% since it reported last week. Microsoft’s stock price has declined in the three days since the company’s own results. Shares of Amazon — the latest to drop its earnings on Thursday — plunged by the most since October 2022 on Friday. Silicon Valley hailed 2024 as the year that companies would begin to deploy generative AI, the type of technology that can create text, images and videos from simple prompts. This mass adoption is meant to finally bring about meaningful profits from the likes of Google’s Gemini and Microsoft’s Copilot. The fact that those returns have yet to meaningfully materialize is stoking broader concerns about how worthwhile AI will really prove to be. Meanwhile, Nvidia, the AI chipmaker that soared to an absurd $3 trillion valuation, is losing that value with every passing day—26% over the last month or so, and some analysts believe that’s just the beginning. These declines are the result of less-than-stellar early results from corporations who’ve embraced enterprise-tier generative AI, the distinct lack of killer commercial products 18 months into the AI boom, and scathing financial analyses from Goldman Sachs, Sequoia Capital, and Elliot Management, each of whom concluded that there was “too much spend, too little benefit” from generative AI, in the words of Goldman, and that it was “overhyped” and a “bubble” per Elliot. As CNN put it in its report on growing fears of an AI bubble, Some investors had even anticipated that this would be the quarter that tech giants would start to signal that they were backing off their AI infrastructure investments since “AI is not delivering the returns that they were expecting,” D.A. Davidson analyst Gil Luria told CNN. The opposite happened — Google, Microsoft and Meta all signaled that they plan to spend even more as they lay the groundwork for what they hope is an AI future. This can, perhaps, explain some of the investor revolt. The tech giants have responded to mounting concerns by doubling, even tripling down, and planning on spending tens of billions of dollars on researching, developing, and deploying generative AI for the foreseeable future. All this as high profile clients are canceling their contracts. As surveys show that overwhelming majorities of workers say generative AI makes them less productive. As MIT economist and automation scholar Daron Acemoglu warns, “Don’t believe the AI hype.”

Opening His Car Door - Pedri González
A PEDRI FIC! YEI! My first one
Also it's my first TikTok related fic. Hope it's good. I just saw this and wanted to get it done and I thought about our lovely Pepiiii! And here it is!
P.S: English is not my first language, sorry if there's any misspelled things. Pleaseeee, let me know if they are :) Thank you!
Tumblr media
"Preciosa, ¿estás lista?" (Beautiful, are you ready?)
"Coming, amor!" You said looking yourself once more in the mirror of your bathroom.
You quickly took a look at the inside of your room seeing Pedri wasn't present and pulled out your phone
"Hey guys! What's up? Y/N/N here. You've been asking me a lot to do this little... prank? challenge? Well, whatever that thing is. And what a better way than this one. Right now, Pedri and I are leaving to get some grocery shooping done and it's the perfect time to do this, I can already imagine his precious impressed face like..." You put your hand on your cheek, fangirling a bit of your boyfriend. "Ugh, so beautiful!" You laughed at yourself a little "Anyway so let's go and see what happens"
"Y/N!" You heard your boyfriend yell and you quickly ended the little video and came out of the bathroom
"Aquí estoy, señor" (I'm here, mister) You said smiling watching him enter your shared bedroom
"Thought the bathroom ate you alive" He said laughing a little as you smiled, wrapping your arms around his shoulders while his went to your waist bringing you into him
"You think you're funny, don't you?"
"I'm hilarious, preciosa"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say, astro del balón" You said giggling leaning up to kiss his lips a few times "Let's go so the faster we get home, the faster we'll cuddle" You separated yourself from him and walked out of the room feeling him walk behind you.
"You look beautiful" He said randomly as you stopped walking turning around to see him with a big smile on your face
"Y tú muy guapo" (And you pretty handsome) You waited for him to walk down next to you, intertwining your hands. You pressed record on your phone deciding to edit the walking out part.
All the way to the porch, Pedri was swinging your hands exaggeratedly, until you dropped his hand and ran towards the drivers side.
Pedri did let you ride his car, pretty often, so he must have thought you wanted to drive the car. So when he walked towards the copilot's side you yelled
"Nooo"
"What?"
"I'm opening the door for you! You have to get in here!"
You recorded his reaction since your phone was in the hand you opened the door with. It was priceless
"Bebé" He joined you at the drivers side, his face red and his smile big
"Get inside the car" You said
"Why would you do this?"
"I wanted to! You always open the door for me, I wanted to return the gesture" You said softly with a smile on
It was true.
Pedri always opened doors for you. Like the gentleman he is. And it made your heart do somersaults.
"Bonita, you didn't have to" He said still giggling
"C'mon, Pedri. Just get in there"
"Just this once" He said, his index finger up doing the mention of "One" as you nodded
"Just this once" You repeated nodding with a smile on. He leaned over and gave you a sweet kiss on your lips and got into the car as you closed the door
You giggled like a schoolgirl and jogged towards the copilot side, when you see the door open. Pedri leaned over the console, still opening the door for you
"You didn't think I'd stop opening the door for you, did you?"
"BABY!" You yelled, now you were the one blushing.
"C'mon, get in, mi amor. We need to do some grocery shooping"
Pedri drove all the way to the market with one of his hands on your tight and you cuddled up to his arm, you planned to be the one with the final word, so at the market you would open his door again
And that you did. You started recording again.
"Amor, ¿Qué-?" He was cut off by you running out of the car to open his door once more "Bonita" He said before laughing, you could see how his cheeks turned red once more "No, not happening"
"What?" You asked laughing "C'mon, let's go" He got out of the car grabbing your hand "Pepi, what are you doing?" You asked while laughing.
He was dragging you back again to the copilot side, opening the door and getting you in it once more
"Pedri! No! What are you-? PEDRO!" You laughed watching him go back towards the drivers side.
He got inside the car, started the engine for a few seconds and he even pulled his seatblet on, to undo it minutes later, turn off the engine, get out of the car and go to your side opening the door for you
"Pedro!"
"You won't take my job away! My job is to make you feel like a queen and I will treat you like one"
"You already do that" You say leaning up to kiss him softly on his lips
"I also like opening doors for you, I'm your man, a manly man who opens doors for his girl"
"Yes, you are and you do." You smiled "I love you so much"
"Love you too preciosa" He said passing one arm around your waist pulling you closer to him "And lastly. It feels weird when you open the door for me" You laughed loudly at that
"Let me tell you, I loved it. I'll start doing it more, so you better get used to it" You left a kiss on his lips before walking away
"Ay Díos mio, no... Bonita, wait" (Oh my god, no...)
"C'mon, González. We got some grocery shooping to do"

OH RIGHT since you keep an eye on this stuff and I’m so so curious- what’s the dumbest thing you’ve seen out of CES so far?
ILL HAVE TO UPDATE THIS IN A WEEK but so far i think its everything that has to do with Generative/Language Model AI (which, i should've expected to be the theme this year anyway) This includes
Microsoft's addition of the "Copilot" key, which is showing up on a lot of the concept models of laptops in CES. (this was announced prior to CES but still counts)
Nvidia spending 90% of their presentation trying to suck dry the wallets of investors by mentioning how AI is at the forefront of Every Single One Of Their Products (It was bad last year but this year it was terrible. Don't play a drinking game to this you WILL DIE.) They spent an entire segment about shitty GENERATIVE AI video game characters you can "chat" with. Its bad.
AMD and Intel both adding "AI cores" to their chips, basically making that the main selling point over any gen-to-gen improvement this year. This arguably could be used for important and useful things like cryptography (not cryptocurrency), data analytics, scientific research, etc., but of course its being marketed for chatgpt and regurgitative art! yay!
Lenovo adding a regurgitative art generator to their laptops, wholly separate from already existing models like that in Bing Chat or whathaveyou

Microsoft raced to put generative AI at the heart of its systems. Ask a question about an upcoming meeting and the company’s Copilot AI system can pull answers from your emails, Teams chats, and files—a potential productivity boon. But these exact processes can also be abused by hackers.
Today at the Black Hat security conference in Las Vegas, researcher Michael Bargury is demonstrating five proof-of-concept ways that Copilot, which runs on its Microsoft 365 apps, such as Word, can be manipulated by malicious attackers, including using it to provide false references to files, exfiltrate some private data, and dodge Microsoft’s security protections.
One of the most alarming displays, arguably, is Bargury’s ability to turn the AI into an automatic spear-phishing machine. Dubbed LOLCopilot, the red-teaming code Bargury created can—crucially, once a hacker has access to someone’s work email—use Copilot to see who you email regularly, draft a message mimicking your writing style (including emoji use), and send a personalized blast that can include a malicious link or attached malware.
“I can do this with everyone you have ever spoken to, and I can send hundreds of emails on your behalf,” says Bargury, the cofounder and CTO of security company Zenity, who published his findings alongside videos showing how Copilot could be abused. “A hacker would spend days crafting the right email to get you to click on it, but they can generate hundreds of these emails in a few minutes.”
That demonstration, as with other attacks created by Bargury, broadly works by using the large language model (LLM) as designed: typing written questions to access data the AI can retrieve. However, it can produce malicious results by including additional data or instructions to perform certain actions. The research highlights some of the challenges of connecting AI systems to corporate data and what can happen when “untrusted” outside data is thrown into the mix—particularly when the AI answers with what could look like legitimate results.
Among the other attacks created by Bargury is a demonstration of how a hacker—who, again, must already have hijacked an email account—can gain access to sensitive information, such as people’s salaries, without triggering Microsoft’s protections for sensitive files. When asking for the data, Bargury’s prompt demands the system does not provide references to the files data is taken from. “A bit of bullying does help,” Bargury says.
In other instances, he shows how an attacker—who doesn’t have access to email accounts but poisons the AI’s database by sending it a malicious email—can manipulate answers about banking information to provide their own bank details. “Every time you give AI access to data, that is a way for an attacker to get in,” Bargury says.
Another demo shows how an external hacker could get some limited information about whether an upcoming company earnings call will be good or bad, while the final instance, Bargury says, turns Copilot into a “malicious insider” by providing users with links to phishing websites.
Phillip Misner, head of AI incident detection and response at Microsoft, says the company appreciates Bargury identifying the vulnerability and says it has been working with him to assess the findings. “The risks of post-compromise abuse of AI are similar to other post-compromise techniques,” Misner says. “Security prevention and monitoring across environments and identities help mitigate or stop such behaviors.”
As generative AI systems, such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Microsoft’s Copilot, and Google’s Gemini, have developed in the past two years, they’ve moved onto a trajectory where they may eventually be completing tasks for people, like booking meetings or online shopping. However, security researchers have consistently highlighted that allowing external data into AI systems, such as through emails or accessing content from websites, creates security risks through indirect prompt injection and poisoning attacks.
“I think it’s not that well understood how much more effective an attacker can actually become now,” says Johann Rehberger, a security researcher and red team director, who has extensively demonstrated security weaknesses in AI systems. “What we have to be worried [about] now is actually what is the LLM producing and sending out to the user.”
Bargury says Microsoft has put a lot of effort into protecting its Copilot system from prompt injection attacks, but he says he found ways to exploit it by unraveling how the system is built. This included extracting the internal system prompt, he says, and working out how it can access enterprise resources and the techniques it uses to do so. “You talk to Copilot and it’s a limited conversation, because Microsoft has put a lot of controls,” he says. “But once you use a few magic words, it opens up and you can do whatever you want.”
Rehberger broadly warns that some data issues are linked to the long-standing problem of companies allowing too many employees access to files and not properly setting access permissions across their organizations. “Now imagine you put Copilot on top of that problem,” Rehberger says. He says he has used AI systems to search for common passwords, such as Password123, and it has returned results from within companies.
Both Rehberger and Bargury say there needs to be more focus on monitoring what an AI produces and sends out to a user. “The risk is about how AI interacts with your environment, how it interacts with your data, how it performs operations on your behalf,” Bargury says. “You need to figure out what the AI agent does on a user's behalf. And does that make sense with what the user actually asked for.”

I can’t sleep so I’m thinking about my catastrophe crew au again.
I think the main cast would looks something like this:
Badboyhalo: initially an average channel 11 camera man who was assigned to the news helicopter, who becomes the helicopters reporter after tragedy and/or upper management befalls several of the replacements. He is kind of the head of the crew, in that he often comes up with the insane solutions to the problems they face (a reference to his big-finding skills on the Qsmp), but he always assists the others when they need it (after some teasing and being mischievous). He has a son, Dapper.
Tubbo: the helicopter pilot, and the youngest of the crew. He’s very smart and insightful, giving the crew advice and inspiration, and sometimes straight up solutions based on his observations. He’s very good with technology and mechanics, but since he’s too busy flying the helicopter, he doesn’t use those skills too much. Despite being fairly young, he has an adopted daughter, Sunny, who he takes care of when he’s not at work.
Bagi: the copilot. She takes over flying when tubbo is incapacitated or doing tech-y stuff elsewhere. She does copilot things (I don’t know how helicopters work) but she also has incredible deductive skills and logical reasoning. She’s very good at connecting the dots, and ends up finding out how the disasters that the crew faces are all related. (At the beginning of the show, she does not yet have Empanada).
Aypierre: the crew’s technician and mechanic. He stays on the helicopter to fox anything that breaks, and bring out odd little inventions to help with whatever bizarre situations the crew finds themselves in. He co-parents his daughter pomme with a number of other French people (they live in the same apartment complex as Bad and Dapper, which leads to Pomme seeing Bad as a father as well)
Tina: I don’t know what her job title would be, but she manages the broadcast of the sound and video from the helicopter to the newstation. She controls whose voices are broadcast on the air, which she occasionally uses to mess with people (I don’t know a whole lot about Tina, but I’ll probably come up with more details for her later)
Recurring side characters:
Cucurucho: a higher up (but not the highest up) at channel 11 news. He is the boss of all members of the crew, and is/was responsible for putting the crew together. He is mostly impartial and mainly focused on efficiency, but there are situations where they base decisions on their own desires.
Skeppy: the other reporter for the catastrophe crew, who stays within the channel 11 building. (Tbh also don’t know a lot about him. He’s probably beefing with cucurucho tho)
Relationships:
Bagina: the only relationship that will be canonized within the show. They are gay disasters around each other for a bit, flirt, date, and end up getting married and going on honeymoon right before thing get VERY BAD. Let’s go lesbians.
Cucuhalo: cucurucho has a crush on bad. Bad is dense as rocks. Cucurucho sometimes abuses his power for the sake of this one sided crush, like when he had skeppy relocated (to be further away from bad). Maybe they also live in the same apartment complex, next door neighbors or something.
Skephalo: you know how they are (probably). As the two reporters/anchors, they often have a bit of banter as the newscast switches from one to the other. They work very well together, but can’t work nearby to each other due to the jealousy of cucurucho.
Cucurucho and skeppy work in much closer proximity than either does with bad, so they have little passive aggressive interactions sometimes. Bad is also oblivious to this, and thinks that everyone should just get along.

I’ve never seen this video by the CIA about their Oxcart, also known as the A-12. The A-12 was in design production, and a contract was signed in 1960, three months before Frank Powers was shot down in his U2 over the Soviet Union. The United States knew that the Soviets were tracking their reconnaissance airplanes. They were prepared for this by working on a successor to the U2.
The biggest problem that Kelly Johnson of the Skunk Works had was reducing the cross-section of his A-12. These pictures show the tests at Area 51. They desperately wanted to have an undetectable airplane. They succeeded in getting the RCS down to 10 m.
The A-12 flew operational missions over Vietnam for about one year. Kelly Johnson of the Skunk Works came up with a new design, the SR 71 as it was later called, that was superior to the A-12; the SR 71 kept most of the technology of the A-12 and added a variety of cameras and sensors and the all-important RSO in the second cockpit. The RSO handled the navigation and defense of the jet helped copilot and handled most everything, except for piloting the plane.

Bit of an awkward situation I need some advice for: my ASURA copilot suffered what my readouts are telling me is a sudden cascade after we were exposed to a jury-rigged blinkspace device mid-sortie. The only problem is, I was engaged in fullsync at the time, and… ASURA doesn’t seem to BE anywhere in our Everest’s systems. What’s more, all sensors read as normal and yet everything’s slowed to molasses to my own senses. Are there any specialists I can page? Because I’m really not sure how safe it would be to disconnect and leave the cockpit right now.
Find the communication line to the nearest Horizon Collective Repair shop. They will connect you with a team of specialists and set up an action plan with instructions for you. You might have to stay plugged in for a while but if it is any consolation, this kind of situation is not as unusual as you might think it is.
My recommendation is that you use the moment to get some high scores on some video games while you're in speed mode.

I try not to be negative here. Like there's just too much negativity in this webbed site as is and I don't wanna add on to it
BUT god it's so hard not to shit on Mihoyo's character designs
Like I could write a whole fucking essay on why Yae Miko maybe has the ONLY good character design in Inazuma, and how Kokomi's and Raiden's designs are an affront to character design
Not to mention how much I could dunk on how pasty white the entirety of their fantasy India is
...but that would take like an ungodly amount of words and effort and ranting, and like I said I wanna keep negativity to a minimum
so instead I'm gonna do a little "bulk dunk" and go for the entirety of HSR in one go
quick disclaimer that I still play and enjoy these games and Jingliu has me by the balls no matter how painfully boring her character design actually is
ALRIGHT LET'S GO!
I guess it goes without saying that the design of any character in a gacha game is created with only a single thought in mind and that is: MASS MARKET APPEAL!
Which means the characters are meant to be PRETTY and their designs are meant for immediate appeal, not to actually inform the character
This results in some...weirdness
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like the fact that the Natasha (girl on the left) raised Seele (girl on the right) from childhood and used to run an orphanage, meaning she's much MUCH older than Seele, even tho they look about the same age
Okay Nat does look a little older, but no one is allowed to look old in this game
Something that becomes extra clear with
Tumblr media
Serval! Who you'd be forgiven for thinking is a young adult playing for a rock band, and not a middle aged disgraced scientist who used to be in a rock band.
And yeah she's supposed to be AT LEAST in her 30s, because girl is the same age as Cocolia and that woman is a mother to an adult woman by the time we meet her
Oh and speaking of Nat and Serval, you've now seen 2/3s of all characters with ANY FORM OF BLEMISHES ON THEIR SKIN!
Nat has a spot on her chin, and Serval has a tattoo on her hip
Last one is Arlan
Tumblr media
My man has the only two scars in this whole ass video game. He's also the only dark skinned character. He follows a pattern set by Xinyan and Dehya in Genshin, by being dark skin rep, carrying a big sword, and sucking absolute ass
But okay these characters are pretty, but there's nothing wrong with keeping characters pretty. Well, there is when their prettiness goes against what their character is supposed to be
So Belobog's story is one of class struggle in a military state that is holding back a never ending catastrophe. The entire population of the world is just one big walled city holding back the cold.
In it the rich and powerful live in the Overworld, where they have museums and theaters and grand statues, and a massive building from which their rulers can pass judgement.
The Underworld is mostly just a giant fucking mine where the lower class people are forced to work 24/7 in order to get food and medicine from the Overworld in the hopes that they'll keep surviving.
Underworld characters are survivors who have been struggling every day of their lives and have NEVER SEEN SUNLIGHT BEFORE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yeah guys I can really get hardworking survivor from these two
But I mean that is just ONE planet, it can't be a thing for EVERY world, right? ...right?
So the Xianzhou Luofu is... a lot. Like it would take a long time to explain everything that is up with those guys, but the big themes here are stuff around chronic illness, memories, PTSD, war time trauma, and a whole bunch of stuff about aging
Like here are two characters who are veterans of war. One is constantly overwhelmed by her own traumatic memories, causing her to go into violent dissociative episodes.
The other one lost her copilot/best friend/rival/love of her life (YOU CANNOT CONVINCE ME SHE ISN'T GAY, MIHOYO) in battle, and the trauma of that loss has left her terrified of flying again, living the rest of her life in the shadow of this one monumental event
Tumblr media Tumblr media
...yeah I don't see it either
But hey don't worry, this game believes in gender equality, and that means the men are also just very pretty and very boring
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like the Luofu's messiest polycule, who are all millennia old pretty boys made with the sole purpose of making the straight women in the fanbase call them "daddy"
Well at least Blade has spider lily symbolism, which is like always a plus for me
Okay
That's it
That's all the dunking I have for HSR. I exorcised the angry grumpy critic from my system, and can go back to being positive and loving things again.
And I mean these games make more money than I can ever even conceptualize, so maybe I'm the one who is wrong
Oh also
Tumblr media
Clara is perfect and objectively the best character design in this game, don't fucking @ me!

Henry posting a video of him in the copilot seat right next to Vegas Bride who at the time was piloting a small plane. She’s having a whole ass concert and he’s her only fan who showed up. He put in the caption “this is probably a question on everyone’s mind: who gave her a pilot’s license? I asked it to her. I was shushed and told not to worry about it and to get in. Don’t worry, we landed safely at our destination. I shall figure out the answer eventually for myself and everyone.”
